I was thinking about this earlier but I really love that William and Sherlock bring out the best in each other and both of them helped better the other.

I mean, for one, William wouldn't even be alive without Sherlock. Sherlock has given him a reason to keep living- and it's because of him that he finds life beautiful now. He's working to atone for his sins because of Sherlock.

And meanwhile, Sherlock was a guy who couldn't pay rent, didn't want to work (outside of being a consulting detective), and didn't take care of himself. He really went from not taking care of himself and saying "waiting is my job...and I don't wanna work..." to being a money maker, taking care of William, and having to ensure both of them were able to live comfortably. He learned to take care of himself and someone else. (Bro literally mother henned him before the Vermissa mission)

And of course, while Sherlock will always catch William when he falls (literally and figuratively), William is willing to rush to his aid as well.

Not John nor Louis nor even Albert had as much of a life changing impact on how they decide to go on and it's beautiful

I absolutely adore this story. The way both of them are struggling to live on after everything and learning how to deal with the difficulties of living a simple life. It ends on a good note.

Sherlock catches Liam and puts him behind bars, only to realize how much he hates this and teams up with the Moriarty gang to get him out again. Louis tries to stab him multiple times, for realizing it so late.

I just finished this. It's sooooo sweet. Alternativ titel: sherlock just straight up not having a good time for 48k.

I don't know why, but somehow all sherliam fanfic seem to make me rethink what love is. Also, it's not a good sherliam fic, if you don't have a case to solve.

so my favourite trope is not just enemies to lovers. It's the idiots-dynamic.

No, not idiots-in-love (though I do love it) but when one character who is always smart about everything in life turns stupid only when it comes to their partner or their relationship, MEANWHILE the other one who is an idiot all the time turns into the smartest person ever when it comes to the partner and their relationship.
