And I don't mean rose tinted nostalgia goggles or anything like that; I mean I'm deadass surprised to see how down for murder the main bronze boys are (excluding Shun) Like even before Sanctuary arc and before they knew Saori was Athena, these guys were just....really cool with murder

Anon asked: I don’t know if this is too personal or not, but if you feel comfortable sharing, what prompted you to make a return after not posting at all for about 3 years?

A: That's okay, I don't mind you asking. To be honest, I just suffered from art block for a very long time. I couldn't get myself to draw no matter how hard I tried. I would sit myself down and try to force myself to do it, but I just couldn't. I don't know why it went away and I don't know why it came back, but suddenly my spark came back with a vengeance! I'm back to wanting to draw all the time! I think that's both the wonderful and awful thing about creativity: you can't force it. It sucks, but hopefully I can serve as proof to others who are going through it that you can spring back from it.

Anon asked: Hi E-vay! I couldn't help but notice a few Coraline references in some of your art work, are you a fan of the film too? By the way, Sonamy 4 eva!!

A: Yes I LOVE Coraline! I never read the book but I love the movie. It fills my spooky little heart and soul!

A: I haven't yet! Honestly when the pilot first came out years ago, I didn't care for it. (I love Helluva Boss, did not care for Hazbin Hotel). But I've heard a million people recommending the series and I've heard the songs because of Tiktok and a lot of the songs sound great, so I have been meaning to check it out.

A: I want to say Nightmare Before Christmas, but to be completely honest it's probably Mars Attacks! It's so campy and funny and it has that retro horror sci-fi film feel to it, and the cast rocks. It checks all the boxes for me. I even have a Mars Attacks! print hung up at my office at work:

A: I went through a severe art block and hadn't drawn anything for a long time, even though I had the whole script for it written out. However since getting my mojo back, I've completely re-written the story and am working on it again. You'll see more of HHNF soon and I'm certain you'll like it better than it was meant to be originally!

Anon asked: I’m unsure if you’ve been asked this before, feel free to ignore if so but would you ever consider opening a Patreon? Y’know for earlier access and possibly spicy art🤔?

A: I did have a Patreon once upon a time, but it gave me severe imposter syndrome lol It put too much pressure on me to put out content that I thought was worthy enough for people to be paying for, so I ultimately closed it down. It doesn't mean I won't ever open it up again, but I don't have any immediate plans to do that. Also regarding the spice haha 😅 I appreciate your interest, but I just don't like to share that kind of content.

A: I don't watch much anime anymore, but I used to be obsessed with Naruto. That's primarily what I would draw back in my dA days, but I lost interest in it a long time ago. I also loved Fruits Basket, Kill La Kill, One Punch Man and Attack on Titan. There are other shows I've watched, but those were the major series. I haven't seen the series you mentioned, sorry!

A: Absolutely! I don't know what the next game will be, but I definitely want to make more!

A: So far my favorite game-movie adaptation is the Super Mario Bros movie! I love it so much! I love that they kept the style of the game but made it a little more polished than what you'd get in the games. I loved the characters, I loved all the references within it, I loved the music. I just think it's a perfect adaptation. Of course I'm super excited for Sonic 3! I'm sure it's going to be great, I'm just praying that Amy will be in it! I need her in it :( I'd love to see a movie adaptation of Dead Space. That's one of my favorite games and ooh I think it'd make such a good horror film. I know they made animated movies for it, but I want it done in a proper hollywood horror way!

MISC SONIC ASKS

Anon asked: I was wondering what your favourite brotherly head cannon would be between Sonic and Tails? :3

A: Even though Sonic's older and technically raised Tails, I love the idea of them sort of "raising each other." Sonic teaches Tails how to defend himself, how to navigate the world, how to do the right thing, but Tails is the one who teaches Sonic how to read and write, introduces him to philosophical discussions that Sonic finds really boring but actually helps him to be a better hero and be a better version of himself. I even like the idea of Tails being the one to teach Sonic how to play music. Sonic has a natural talent for it, but Tails is the one to teach him notes and chords, how to actually read sheet music, things like that.

umbrathehedgehog asked: Hey, I noticed that one piece about Sonic Prime. It's very nice! What did you like or not like about the show? Been seeing a lot of differing opinions on it and I'm really curious about what you thought!

A: Thanks so much! As a whole I'd say it was okay. It certainly wasn't the best Sonic media out there in my opinion but no way was it the worst. I understand it's a kid's show, but it was way too formulaic for me. It got to the point where I could pretty much bet "in 2 minutes Character A is going to seem like all is lost, then a loud explosion/sudden shake will happen, and they'll look up like 'whuAHHH???' and Character B will show up to help." That's fine, but not when it's happening multiple times every single episode. So to be honest, it wasn't a show that I looked forward to watching like I did with Sonic Boom. It was just something I had on because it was Sonic-related. But Sonic Prime had a lot of good character writing and the acting was great. They explored character relationships/dynamics and emotions that some other Sonic content hasn't done before, so I applaud them for that. It's mirroring what happened in Sonic Frontiers and I love that the franchise is willing to dig a little deeper on an emotional level like that. And I've said it before but I'll say it a million times more: Shadow was PERFECT! The positive of having Shadow portrayed so excellently far outweighed any negatives I could say for the show!

A: Well we didn't get to see very much of her, but I loved her design! She was very majestic and beautiful and kind. None of the characters or storyline from the live action movies are part of my AU.

Anon asked: So when’s did aurora learn that she could turn invisible? And did she use it to pull a prank on her parents making them think she disappeared

A: Aurora discovers her light abilities when she's young (think about preteen age), but she doesn't fully know what all she can do yet. It takes a lot of experimenting and studying with Uncle Tails to figure out everything she can do. He is the one who tells her that if she can bend light, she should be able to use it to cloak herself. Tails and Sonic obviously mean she should use it as a defensive move, but Aurora instantly thinks it's the perfect power for pranks! Picture a lot of objects "floating" around the house with a lot of phony "OooooOOoooOOOO" ghost noises haha

Anon asked: Is aurora a comic book fan? If so what’s her favorite series

A: Aurora can enjoy super hero related stuff, but she's not an avid fan of it and I would say she does not read comics. Aurora is more into fantasy/romance books. Ruff is the one who is into comic books :) His favorite would be Batman.

Anon asked: I love your idea of Aurora and Sage being close friends, I really think that fits! That being said, do you think Sage and CC would get along?

A: Thank you! I've been thinking about it and I like the idea of Sage and CC being rivals, but in a very cheeky, friendly way. Sort of like Sonic and Knuckles. Sage and CC would make everything into a competition to see who can solve this problem fastest or who can simulate something best, to determine who is truly the more intelligent of the two AIs. But again, not in a toxic way. In a "I have to be the best version of myself in order to beat you because the respect I have for you is insanely high" kind of way. And Sage could playfully tease CC for wanting to become organic because it'd be a "step backwards" in her evolution, but really she'd work to find a way to help make CC's dream come true.

A: Orange is in the same color family as red and pink, so I think it still works. As far as color theory, in my AU Aurora has a grandma who is yellow and Shadow's fur includes red, so by blending those colors you can get orange. It's the same reason why Nova is purple, it's a blend of colors from their lineage. I tried Cinder out in several different colors but orange is ultimately what fit him best.

A: They're more like best friends than sisters/cousins. I know people draw Sage growing older and stuff but I personally headcanon that she'd stay in the form of a child because she feels no need to grow up. But once she's friends with Aurora, then I could see her "aging" up alongside Aurora so that she always matches her friend. It's just a headcanon of mine for now and that could ultimately change in the future.

Anon asked: Has Aurora ever been to space before if so what were her thoughts. Was she like markiplier with the whole space is so cool song.

A: Aurora DESPERATELY wants to go to space more than anything! But for most of her life she hardly ever left her home. It isn't until she's grown up that she actually starts to properly explore the world. Eventually I want her to go to space, but it would be once she's living on her own.

A: You are just so sweet, thank you! You know I'm very pro tats and I love seeing what people think the different Sonic characters would get. For my AU, I only have two (technically three) characters depicted with tattoos. Amy's dad Clay Rose has two tattoos on his bicep: A heart with his wife's name in it, and then a matching little heart with Amy's name in it. Adult Knuckles has a simple "M.E." tattooed on his bicep. It's a reference to Knuckles' theme and also his dedication to the Master Emerald. Lastly, I have the human version of Cinder (but only the human version) with forearm sleeves that continue down his hands. So far those are the only characters I have with tattoos. As far as piercings, most of my characters have ear piercings but they don't often wear earrings. Blitz and Lulu are the only characters who always wears earrings. I could see Shadow getting at least an ear pierced, but I headcanon that with his rapid healing that it would almost instantly close if he didn't actively wear a piercing at the time.

Anon asked: I totally hope that Piper will have a girlfriend! Do you see her more with a girl or a boy?

A: I currently see PIper as demiromantic. She is currently not interested in anyone romantically or physically, and I don't want to diminish that part of her identity by saying 'Oh but she'll eventually end up with __." Of course, a headcanon is whatever you want so if you personally ship her with a woman that's cool with me!

Anon asked: Hey evay, i was looking at this old info of Amy, and It says that she wans't always at home, did Aurora had any issue with that? Did some part of her childhood she could say that she had mother issues? (Sorry if you can't understand, my english it's terrible 💀)

A: Your English is excellent! I wouldn't go so far as to say Aurora had mother issues. Amy wasn't completely absent from Aurora's youth, she was just working a lot so she wasn't constantly at home the way Sonic was. It would have made things a little awkward/emotional at times because that naturally made Aurora favor Sonic a little more when she was younger, but that also made the times she did have with Amy all the more special. Aurora never thought to herself "My mom has abandoned me because she's never home," it was more of a "Work is stupid and being grown up is stupid because it means Mom can't stay home and play with me all day." Aurora and Amy grow a lot closer as Aurora gets older and better understands the meaning of responsibilities and commitment.

A: Wow, that's so kind of you to say! Thank you so much! I hope you do make ref sheets for your characters :) I haven't planned anything with Silver for my AU yet. To be honest, I don't know his character very well and I try my best to always keep the original characters in-character, so that's why I haven't done anything with him yet. But I recently purchased the volumes of IDW comics and I'm hoping to understand him better and then I will be more confident writing him! Secondly, none of the Shadora horde are immortal. They have stronger immune systems so they can heal faster and are less likely to get sick than the average Mobian, but they are still mortal and still age at a normal rate. Thank you for the questions and compliments!

A: Thank you so much! I need to make a comic about it. When they were young they were all exploring the different zones and Cinder was really struggling with some of the obstacles so he was already getting quite aggravated. Diamond noticed this and offered to help because some problems are better solved as a team, and Cinder immediately gets pissed and tells her to buzz off. She gets upset that he snaps at her, and there's some escalation between the two and finally Cinder blows up at her (literally). He immediately regrets it as he did not mean to hurt her, but the damage is already done.

degux asked: What would happen if Metal Sonic ( somehow :v ) met CC ?

A: Hmm. Well, even though Metal Sonic is based on Sonic, I love stories that involve him having an identity crisis and ultimately deciding that he's not just going to be a clone. He's his own entity, right? They're alike, but they're not the same. I don't know where he'd be on that self journey by the time he meets CC, but she'd definitely see him as his own person, not as a Sonic copy. But likely he'd still be an antagonist, so they'd end up having to battle lol

A: They definitely exist in my AU, but I haven't completely decided what their roles are yet. I can see Vector becoming Cream's stepdad (I'm not passionate about the VanillaXVector ship but I know it's practically canon), and then that leads me down a rabbit hole (pun intended) of how does that affect the dynamics of Team Chaotix? I have some rough ideas but I need to spend more time on it.

A: I had to add this question immediately after because your idea of Grunkle Stan made me laugh out loud! Oh my gosh I love that!

A: ¡Gracias! The character you're referring to was an OC made by my friend Nana, a Sonamy fankid named Spazz. I sometimes drew him interacting with Aurora because my friend Nana and I just liked to draw our characters interacting, but Spazz is not a part of my AU. Nana is no longer on tumblr so that's why there aren't any Spazz art/comics anymore.

I’ve recently re-read your ‘Boom Baby’ comic & was wonderin’ - especially with all their attempts - did Sonic or Amy, either one, stuggle with infertility? If so, did they ever have any doubts of that “I’m pregnant” moment ever happening?

A: Infertility is a very real issue that many people (including those very close in my life) deal with. Although I do think it's very important for people to be able to see their experiences reflected in the media they consume to help them remember that they aren't alone in their experience, this is not something I wanted Sonic and Amy to have to deal with for Boom!Baby. The chapter where Sonic references making multiple attempts during a certain window of time was not meant to imply that they were struggling with infertility. It was instead supposed to show that now that they've both decided they want a child, Amy doesn't want to take any chances to make sure it happens lol. TMI - Even without fertility issues, getting pregnant is not always guaranteed so it can take a lot of planning and timing (and frankly, luck) to be successful. Super TMI - I headcanon that Sonic and Amy are already intimate A LOT so now that they're trying for a baby it's above and beyond and that's why Sonic is tired in that chapter lol

A: My AU is a fluid situation haha It adapts as more Sonic content comes out and I get to pick what I want to include. That's what makes AUs fun! Hmmm, ultimately I'm going to say no, I don't think Prime is canon to my stories.

We've seen Amy's pregnancy with Aurora and their first date, so it seems like another natural relationship landmark to make a shenanigans-filled story out of! If you read Harry Potter or watch the movies, don't you think that Harry and Ginny's relationship is similar to Sonic and Amy? I know this is kind of random, but it's like Harry is the hero, and Ginny was always in love with him, but their relationship slowly developed throughout the books, especially the 6th book. And that's how Sonic and Amy have been throughout the years

A: Hello! I have seen the movies and I read some of the books, but I don't know the series all that well. Actually, I don't remember Ginny being in the movies much at all, so I was a little confused when she and Harry ended up together. Maybe there was more to it in the books that I just never read. So if I'm going solely based on the movies I've seen, I can't say that I see the correlation. But that's not to say you're wrong in thinking that :)

I'm still sure they won't ever make it canon, but I love the sweet little snippets we get and just how much Sonic and Amy's relationship has evolved over the years to be so much closer. And I giggle like a little maniac every time they're on screen together or they're side by side in marketing. It makes my heart SING!

A: That's not embarrassing, that's crazy kind of you to say! Thank you! Yes I do still adore those ships and need to draw them more. It just seems every time I go to draw something my hand gets possessed by the ✨spirit of sonamy✨😂 I promise I'll draw the others at some point!

Anon asked: Are there any ships that you just… don’t get? Not dislike or hate or anything, just one that you fully don’t understand the appeal for…? Cause Metal Sonic and Amy is a ship that kinda baffles me. Like most Amy ships have some appeal. Sonic is obvious, you’re Ms. Sonamy after all. But Shads, Silver, Blaze, and even Surge have fun dynamics, and Metal doesn’t really strike me as a character that is able to be shipped effectively… Thoughts?

A: There definitely are ships that I don't understand. But if I don't understand or don't like a ship (or fan theories, or whatever), I'd rather just not talk about them. I used to indulge in that style of arguing discussion when I was a kid but I don't do that kind of stuff anymore. If I don't get something I just say "That's not for me" and move along. I do support the MetAmy ship myself but it's not at the top of my ship list (lol). I like it because Metal Sonic is based on Sonic, and if they're meant to be similar and I believe that Sonic does care about Amy, then that logic would tell me that Metal cares about Amy, too. And even though Metal is a villain, Amy does care about his well being (just like she cares about everyone's well being). Metal Sonic is also one of the main reasons Amy and Sonic met in the first place, so I think she holds a special place in her heart for him, even if it's not 100% romantic. That's my reasoning, but I don't want or expect you to change your opinion.

A: I don't really do exact ages, but Sonic and Amy have Aurora roughly when they're in their mid-to-late 20s. So they would be in their mid-to-late 40s when Aurora and Shadow first meet.

A: Hmm, I think my fav Shadora art is the comic where Shadow and Aurora discuss her "wings" (back quills). It started out as just a fluffy piece but I think it really set the tone for their relationship in my stories. As far as a double date -- I could see them trying a double date early on when Shadow first states his intention to date Aurora, but it doesn't go well. Years later when Sonic is more accepting of their relationship I could see them occasionally going out for lunch/dinner together instead of just their weekly family dinners at home.

A: CC doesn't need to rest, but Tails is so soft that she just loves to lay against him so she'd definitely use him for a lap pillow more. BONUS POINTS for using his tails as a shawl around her shoulders! Shadow is more likely to rest his head in Aurora's lap. The way she strokes his quills is very soothing and makes him feel content. She also has thick thighs so very, very comfy for lap pillows!

🫶 thank you anon. i gave this a listen, and honestly it makes so much sense. the beginning part sounded akin to lo-fi, and i was like...yeah, sae would definitely listen to something chill like this. but then i heard the vocals, and it was surprisingly groovy. also i think sae just canonically has a soft spot for things that remind him of home. he watches chibi maruko-chan. he gets shio kombu sent from his parents' home because spain doesn't have it. he listens to cute songs that probably remind him of his childhood. (lol he's adorable he just doesn't know it yet.)

also i searched up the lyrics...and i have to say the itoshi brothers must be fundamentally tied with star/planet motifs in every universe or something. suisei (水星) is kanji for mercury. (on a side note, i find this funny because the literal translation for the characters is water star which doesn't sound like mercury at all but whatever.)

ok returning back to the lyrics, i found a select few that match his character well:

i feel like this basically summarize sae's mindset down to two lines. it's always a false dilemma for him. either he does something and becomes the best at it or he doesn't do it at all. sort of like kill or be killed. unfortunately, i think this extreme mindset is also why he tends to struggle with maintaining personal relationships.

"now i'm in truce with that guy who's my rival"

this line made me laugh because both sae and rin are always so brooding when it comes to declaring random people as their rival. like....relax please. it's not that serious. but on the other hand, it might also refer to their tendency to compare themselves (either to their past selves or to other people.)

"flew from i-pod, i-phone / a bundle of data, when we always hold them"

data and numbers are basically sae's thing in the manga, but i think this lyric also refers to the passage of time. i headcanon sae as one of those people who acts like he's an old grandpa when in reality he's still in his 20's or something. he just views the past, present, and future differently from others his age.

"i spent much (time/money) to be youth"

yeah....sae would probably think this. time is money in his hands, and he's running out of it. i think this could go both ways. either he spent too much in order to become the best. or he feels like he didn't spend enough time/appreciation towards his youth before it was taken away from him.

the star motifs are glaringly obvious lol. but he would do something like that. if both of you are in this together anyway, he's going to put his all into it.

Discover your Destiny, Gundam! and then the first few minutes are like so the war killed half the population and now we're employing child guerilla fighters. Like I know that's the show's reputation. War Is Bad dot jpeg etc. but man.

-Amuro's dad was the deadest anyone has ever been from the moment he stepped on screen but I would not have guessed the specific way that played out! That's rough, buddy

But I have read some truly brilliantly written and fucked up fics from the Fantastic Beasts fandom, that's all I'll say.

In all seriousness though, I think my big ones I can think of are Shigaraki and Dabi from BNHA. Are they both awful, ruthless people who only want to cause pain and suffering to all who have hurt them? Yes. Do I want them to keep causing even more pain and suffering, even to my favorite hero characters, as a treat? Also yes.

I hate to caveat that in no way do I think any of of their actions are justified and that the villains should win and then the world would be a better place yada yada yada but well. Woobifying villains is a thing and also why I stay out of the fandom because I cannot stand my faves being defanged like that. Let my faves be horrible people aoijdosijad.

Yes and no. I do feel bad the foundation of her story was be a woman killed for the glory of a man. And then to be remembered only as a horror, a monster to scare people with.

The modern interpretation of her story is absolutely fascinating to me and while it is still a tragic story, I absolutely love what she's come to represent. I love that her story has been rewritten to be a story of survival, of perseverance, of power even.

For my own sake here's my list of how I think Saga/pope Ares interacted/treated the gold saints

Mu

While he pretended to be Shion for the past 13 years he didn't really know how to treat Mu so he just became more stricter and serious. Mu didn't think anything of it since he thought that his personality change was due to him getting older. When it was revealed that it was Saga all along and that he killed Shion he was 100% willing to kill Saga if given the chance. (also yes i think he would kill saga in one go)

Aldebaran

Nothing changed. I said it before and I'll say it again everyone loves Aldebaran so luckily he didn't get caught in any type of emotional crossfire amen 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Deathmask

Honestly I think this is one of the very few "healthy" relationships that he has w anyone. For the most part DM follows Saga on his own accord and doesn't really get told off like everyone else. The worst that he's gone through is an aggressive remark from Saga but other than that they're kinda chill.

Aiolia

Yeah uh idk what else to add that hasn't been explored LMAO. Just to refresh Saga killed his brother, didn't do anything to stop the constant harassment and death threats he received, gaslit him multiple times to second guess both himself and Aiolos, mind controlled him and almost made him kill Seiya etc. Besides all of that I think Saga just tried to not acknowledge him either out of guilt, awkwardness or to save himself from the hassle of trying to rope Aiolia into his scheme.

Shaka

Saga knew that Shaka was one of the strongest saints along with him and he knew that he was egotistical. He used his ego and self idolization to manipulate Shaka to follow him unquestionably. Shaka was a type of right hand man to Saga who "helped" run the sanctuary whenever Saga wasn't around because what's the easiest way to get people to follow you than to drag around one of the most praised warriors in all of Sanctuary.

Dohko

While Shion and Dohko did loose contact after the previous holy war they did communicate every now and then to see how the other has been. I like the hc that they would send each other letters and that they stopped when Saga came into the picture. Saga would still receive them but would never write back. The only time they did communicate was whenever he made announcements or commands and to Dohko that became a red herring for something being wrong in the Sanctuary.

Milo

Similar to Shaka (ego wise) Saga would almost always praise Milo after his missions especially in front of Aiolia. To Milo it was a great booster bc what's better than being the "favorite" of the pope and being praised almost all the times in front of that traitorous bastard. Saga also used Milo as a pawn to indirectly put Aiolia down which is why Milo was never told to back off from during their youth.

Aiolos

Shura

If there's one man who went through hell and back it's definitely Shura. He got wrapped into this whole thing from the start I hc him being one of the first people who went to Saga's aid when he tried to kill Saori only for him to get the short end of the stick. Bc Shura was really young and admired Aiolos it was near impossible to get him to kill Aiolos so Saga did the best thing he could think of and mind controlled him the whole time. Ever since then Shura kind of became a puppet for Saga to use whenever he needed something done and bc he was a witness to his crimes Saga had a v close eye on him. This heavily affected Shura and led to him being very shut off and reserved from the others and only ever confiding with Aphrodite and DM.

Camus

I think Camus is one of the golds that Saga interacted with the least but that doesn't mean he didn't use him where he could. Saga was deeply interested in Camus' lack of emotion and restrain so he wanted to experiment a bit and see how it'd go if he were to train some students hence Isaak and Hyoga. It doesn't go as planned and to make matters worse he notices that the two made Camus a bit more emotional. In return Saga told him directly that he was growing weaker which led to Camus becoming crueler and stricter with Hyoga out of frustration (this is a whole 'nother can of worms but hopefully you'll get the idea)

Aphrodite

His relationship isn't too different from DM. He also chooses to follow Saga on his own accord and a main difference is that he's usually on Saga's good side. Aphrodite does see him differently as he genuinely believes that Saga fits well in the position of a pope. Aphrodite does share a similar role to Shura where he is also used by Saga to get things done or certain people gone.

So I think this is what is actually rubbing me the wrong way:

I'm a bit worried about Sailor Moon Cosmos rekindling old ship wars and old vitriol. Sailor Moon famously has a ton of canon versions from the 90s anime to Myu and this diversity and variety is beautiful and I am all about celebrating all sides of that. I honestly hadn't been worried about these things coming back before, because I thought we'd grown past it. In general, personally I'm someone who doesn't enjoy seeing hate in fandom spaces - spaces that are about enjoying, loving, and celebrating a shared interest. But now I've seen more posts, reblogs and answers soley about how people hate certain aspects in the few past days since the announcement than I've seen in literal years, which would be absolutely fine if it was just a blip but I guess it's making me worried about what's to come. Which is in part absolutely a me thing because what I love about this fandom corner is, well, not that. And let me be clear - I love nuanced and open discussions about it, including things that people dislike and struggle with about it, these are not the kind of posts and notes I'm talking about. And it also makes SENSE that a lot of usamamo fans especially have grief and beef with 90s Stars since Mamoru was killed, misunderstood in his death by Usagi, and Usagi spent a lot of time with Seiya instead, and want to discuss the nature of this grief and beef and to understand it better with people who think the same - and these are conversations that are most often really great -and even awesome. Discussions that I don't mean here in the least, especially if led in mutually validating ways. But while many people are fantastically capable to have these discussions without devaluing the content itself and those who happen to like it, others aren't - or at least they aren't trying to be, which also sometimes makes sense.

(Don't get me wrong I'm not saying everyone has to love the same thing. But not expressing open hate directly TO people who love a thing is an option. I guess my point is Ship And Let Ship in liking-x-canon form.)

So yeah I guess I'm not iffy at individual people or reactions, I'm worried about my lovely celebratory fandom space for the future, and worried that I might be curating my dash a lot more in the next year. (Which is of course absolutely possible and a good solution for me)

Anyway, I want to suggest an additional solution: How about we establish hashtags that people can follow or block depending on their own preference. #I-hate-sm-stars for those who want to discuss the aspects they hate on their own blogs without having to keep in mind the actual fans of the thing which is something they obviously should be able to, and maybe even an #sm-stars-salt for those who complain in a more nuanced way? This way everyone can complain to their heart's content and others can curate in a way more targeted way if they want to see it or not.

Sometimes I get nice reviews on FF.net, and I got another one. I think some of the comments the person made are really thoughtful. It made me wonder a few things about my fanfic, its contrast with canon, etc. I want to add words to some of what has been said, first as a form of gratitude for every nice comment, but also in the hopes that others might find my insights interesting.

1) "The other Bronze Saints don't disappear after the Galaxian War, Sanctuary feels like an actual community […]"

Hopefully more people feel this way about my portrayals. One of the major issues with works like Saint Seiya is the vast amount of underused/ill-used characters. We have tons of these, mostly Silver and Bronze Saints. How I did June is already a sign that I want to better portray minor characters.

Please, I wish for others to take this for their stories too, wherever possible and desirable. The best way I found to achieve it is so find uses for those characters: because Sanctuary is a true society, all-out war was necessary to take down the Pope; Marin is Athena's contact on the inside; Jabu and the others are her allies in preparing a rebellion, but their known participation in the Galaxian Wars means they're a target for the Pope; Silver Saints like Crow and Auriga are a part of Sanctuary's intelligence, and appeared way earlier in the story than my readers have noticed, leading to the purge that initiates the war. People like them, Lizard, Centaurus, Cerberus, etc. are not evil, they are all Saints serving Athena, misled by lies. Their deaths are terrible things, and the Bronze Saints respect their corpses and Cloths like any other.

I understand that characters are not real people, but tools for the plot. I try to enrich the plot of SS by ensuring that characters are not oversimplified caricatures, and that they have some use whenever possible. I learned a lot about writing better stories by doing this.

2) "You've done so much work with the Gold Saints, not only clearing up inconsistencies from their canon portrayals, but also making them so much more interesting! Deathmask and Shaka stand out to me in particular; the former because his initial canon portrayal was a) one dimensional and b) really at odds with how he ended up being portrayed in later spinoffs, and the latter because his first appearance had so many personality differences from his later version that they feel like two different characters."

Like the anime, I omitted the manga's random visit that Shaka does in Deathqueen's. This would make his encounter with Ikki in Sanctuary less impactful, so I had to find a way to make up for it. I was always confused about what Kurumada wanted from Shaka, so I instead reinforced his Mahayana Buddhism. He's the first Gold Saint who, instead of using lethal force, incapacitates the Bronze Saints and waits for a word from Mu. Originally, the Six-Path Transmigration could kill someone; in my version, it can only ensnare someone indefinitely. There's tension between Shaka's non-violence and Ikki's bloody past.

That is both consistent and interesting, and the length of Shaka's chapter (the longest so far) is also a demonstration of how long the Bronze Saints were actually trapped with him. It was more than enough time for Hyoga's senses to heal.

These changes fit well to me, Shaka becoming a more stable character. Buddhist mendicants are like that: tranquil, reasonable, and distinguishable. You feel safe near them.

My Deathmask is the opposite, a potential menace. He's not an evil man and certainly serves Athena, though he's also an extreme pragmatist. Sure, he has some distasteful opinions, but that's a personality flaw. We all have flaws.

What was Deathmask in the original? He was an obstacle for the Bronze Saints. Shiryu's question is, "how can an evil man become a Gold Saint?" The canon's answer is that sometimes evil people achieve great power (this is fine, but repetitive due to Saga, etc.), whereas my fanfic's answer is that Deathmask isn't evil at all. Shiryu is mistaken.

In "A Strife of Silver", I made Athena say this: "We need Saints as sweet as Shun, and Saints as severe as [Shaina]." She believes both mellow and harsh Saints are necessary for a functioning Sanctuary. There is no ideal personality for a Saint, which means Deathmask is good and in his righteous role.

The worst part in my fanfic, however, is that Shaka is just a super strong dude. Deathmask, in the other hand, holds the fabric of existence together. I rewrote the Cancer Saint to be crucial to the Underworld, Sanctuary, and Heaven. If no one tends for the souls in the House of Cancer, reincarnations suffer a great toll.

This makes Deathmask less unidimensional, more useful, more interesting, and forces me to write him with depth. There's background plot that will slowly be unveiled over time for him, and his death will echo until the Heaven Arc.

3) "[…] then you have the early introduction of the other realms, which is phenomenally appreciated! Especially getting a brief glimpse of Olympus here; one of my biggest frustrations with Saint Seiya is that we still haven't gotten a proper Heaven Chapter, even with all the spinoffs still coming out."

I'd like to know, do you have a personal theory on why Kurumada and Toei never gave us that? I never understood it. I feel that there's a disconnect between what fans long for in a popular IP, and the risks most authors and companies are willing to take. Kurumada had a vision for Heaven Chapter, and that's Next Dimension. It's ok, just not what I wanted. Maybe I'm somewhat of a fatalist, but my fanfic has a beginning and an end, no loose threads. We will go from Japan to Heaven, and it will finish there. That's a big bet to make.

Since I know where I'm going, I know the limits of my universe, and I explore it once it's convenient or needed. The Underworld and Heaven had to appear now, because Deathmask affects them too greatly not to. This hints at more visits from Heaven over time. Actually, Pandora is subtly alluded to for the first time in the Dark Saints Arc, so I wonder if any readers noticed that. She's obviously going to be much more of a key character than in the original.

In all fairness, we have the benefit of hindsight, so we can tie up plot points neatly like that. It's a wonderful, privileged position to be in, not unlike, well… Netflix's scriptwriters. I preface this expressing genuine respect for their labor, despite disliking the results.

With that said, here's another reminder that this is my vision for what I wanted the Netflix show to be. It has all of our Western grittiness mixed in: questions of Becoming, morality, love, hate, violence, peace, and a constant exploration of death and its outcomes. Contrasting this with the X-Men: Saint Seiya we got from Netflix gives me a chuckle. I naively hoped for Netflix to give us all of those things we didn't get from Toei, but here I am, 260,000+ words into writing my vision.

If I had been hired by Netflix, I would've pressured executives and leads in the directions I laid down. Alright, let's make wild changes, make June a main character, focus on Jabu and friends some more, give Marin and Shaina space, double down on Hyoga and Shun, fix Deathmask, create new characters, show the Underworld and Heaven early on, turn Seika into someone else… but keep it Saint Seiya.

On the Topic of Seiya Kou.

This is a Sailor Moon post rather than a Dragon Age post. Shocker, I know, but Sailor Moon is another one of my loves. This will focus on the 90s anime adaptation of the manga. So do not come at me with “but in the manga,” because the 90s adaptation and the manga were incredibly different in multiple ways. Seiya will be referred to as she/her because the male form was a disguise. That being said, any interpretation of Seiya’s gender is valid and I love them all! Anyway. I see a lot of shit talking about Seiya and it’s honestly ... super tiring. So many of the “negative” points against Seiya are misinterpreted, misunderstood, and misrepresented for the sake of making her look like a dumpster fire. 1. “Seiya is creepy towards Usagi and stalks her.” Except ... she doesn’t. They meet by accident numerous times, and in fact Usagi even seeks Seiya out. They develop a friendship, and it’s normal and natural for friends to seek each other out. Usagi and the girls actually, literally stalk the Three Lights more than once during the season. 2. “Seiya thinks Usagi is weak because she told Mamoru to take care of her when they left.” This honestly makes no sense to me. It is repeatedly shown that Seiya admires Usagi’s strength, both as Usagi and as Sailor Moon. It is natural to want the people you love to be protected, and that does not mean that you think they’re weak and incapable of protecting themselves. Seiya knew Usagi was capable and strong because she had seen her demonstrate these traits multiple times. Throughout the season, Seiya repeatedly lifts Usagi up with her confidence in her capabilities. This is even before she knows she is Sailor Moon. Let’s not forget that when Galaxia kills all of the Inners, they ask the Starlights to protect Sailor Moon, so saying that Seiya telling Mamoru to take care of her means she thinks she is weak ... that must mean everyone else thinks she is too, right? It’s absurd. 3. “Seiya can’t take ‘no’ for an answer, always hits on her, and is constantly pressuring her into a relationship.” It is true that Seiya repeatedly quips about “having a chance” with Usagi. It’s also true that Usagi repeatedly reminds Seiya that she has a boyfriend. But it isn’t true that Seiya repeatedly attempts to coerce her into a relationship. It also isn’t true that she does it all the time. While she shouldn’t have done it even more than once (when she was unaware of Usagi’s relationship status,) it’s obvious from the context that she isn’t being serious. Seiya repeatedly making quips is an issue, and while those kinds of situations can and often do mean someone is being a “Nice Guy,” a predator, an abuser, etc., we know from everything that we see that it is not the case with Seiya. Let’s take the “date,” for an example: Seiya throws it out there (literally, just time and place and walks off) and Usagi willingly shows up the next day and is even irritated that Seiya is late. Usagi is not forced or coerced into the date; she retains all of the power regarding whether or not she shows up. She would not have gone if she didn’t want to. Actually, let’s look at these instances of Seiya hitting/making a move on Usagi. - In the “date” episode, Usagi thinks that Seiya is going to make a move on her. Some suggest that Usagi thinks she is going to kiss her, but the language, Usagi’s expressions, and her reaction to the truth seem to imply that she thinks Seiya is suggesting something more intimate. - In the episode with the beach monster when Chibi Chibi opens up the door and pushes Seiya over on to Usagi, Usagi is the one who, again, assumes Seiya is up to No Good, despite it being a complete accident and innocent on Seiya’s part. - In the episode where Seiya spends the night at Usagi’s because she’s alone and Seiya very nearly confesses who she is to Usagi while they’re in her bedroom, it is Usagi who believes that Seiya is going to confess to having a crush on her. - Later in that same episode, when they are hiding in the cabinet and Seiya again thinks about confessing her true identity to her, it is Usagi who thinks Seiya is about to suggest something intimate. In fact, throughout the season, it is everyone from Usagi, to the other girls, to single-episode characters, to even Luna who think that Seiya is going to suggest or attempt illicit activities with Usagi, and not Seiya. It is all but explicitly stated that Usagi is attracted to Seiya. Not just because of the implications of her assumptions, but also because she is scolded over it. In fact, Rei tells her that she needs to sort her feelings out. Haruka and Michiru forbid her from seeing Seiya because she has Mamoru. She may not love Seiya the same way, but she is attracted to her and she does love her (and Usagi being attracted to other people is not a new thing.) Let’s look at the softball episode, because it’s ... pretty problematic and people often point to it as being one of the episodes that paint Seiya as some creepy stalker who can’t just take a hint and tells everyone that Usagi is her girlfriend. It is Rei who thinks that Seiya training Usagi in softball is inappropriate (let’s remember that it is Ami who thinks that something illicit is going on with Seiya and Usagi in the bodyguard episode...) because Mamoru is Usagi’s boyfriend, not Seiya. It is Sonoko who insists that Seiya’s “relationship” with Usagi isn’t acceptable, and it is her that places the bet that if Seiya’s team loses, she’s not to associate with Usagi anymore. Seiya agrees because she’s competitive, hates to lose, has confidence in herself and Usagi, and knows that Sonoko is wrong. When Usagi tries to interject about the actual nature of their relationship (that they’re not dating,) it’s the girls who shush her because they’re expecting Seiya’s team to lose and that will give them the opportunity to make Seiya feel better. I want to touch on the “Seiya knows Sonoko is wrong” part. I think what a lot of people don’t think about is that when Sonoko placed this bet and openly stated her disapproval of Seiya spending time with Usagi, Sonoko was attacking Usagi’s worth as a person. She was openly saying that Usagi wasn’t good enough to be hanging out with Seiya in any capacity. Seiya took issue with this because she obviously believes and knows differently. She values Usagi as a person. Who is Sonoko to decide who is and isn’t good enough to spend time with her? Seiya is not approaching the situation with entirely selfish motives, unlike the girls who fed into the Seiya/Usagi romance for the hopeful eventuality of them being able to comfort Seiya after a loss when she’ll be forced to stop hanging out with Usagi. She uses this situation to help bolster Usagi’s confidence in herself. That doesn’t change the fact that the bet is stupid to begin with, but it is what it is. Oh, additionally ... Seiya doesn’t tell the school that she and Usagi are dating. Them dating is an assumption that Seiya simply doesn’t correct. It’s worth noting that if she did correct that assumption, it would feed into Sonoko’s declaration that Usagi isn’t good enough to be with Seiya. 4. “Seiya tried to make the rooftop scene about herself and used it as a way to try to take Mamoru’s place in Usagi’s life.” This whole entire scene is consistently misinterpreted and has all of the context ripped from it, because that is not what that scene is. No, it 100% was not the best time for Seiya to ask that question (and no, it is not “can I take his place?” that she says,) but people tend to forget that Usagi is not the only vulnerable person in this scene and it isn’t just about her. It is Seiya who triggers Usagi’s emotional breakdown on accident, and in these moments she is watching the person she loves crumble into pieces. The rooftop scene is about both of them and the context makes that clear. Up until this point, the only person who knew that Mamoru wasn’t keeping in contact with Usagi was Seiya. None of the girls knew, none of them. Imagine the amount of trust Usagi had to have in Seiya in order to share that incredibly sensitive information with her and with no one else, not even her closest friends. Usagi had told Seiya a whole 13 episodes before this one, and since finding out Seiya tried her best to make Usagi happy and to keep her mind busy. It isn’t until a few episodes after this that everyone including Seiya finds out that Mamoru is dead. So Seiya spends all of this time believing that Mamoru ditched Usagi when he moved overseas and that he’s a horrible boyfriend who obviously doesn’t care about Usagi. This is naturally hurtful to Seiya, who grows to genuinely like and love Usagi through the season. She cares for her and doesn’t want to see her in pain, which is why she does her best to help Usagi feel less alone. There is no point in the season where Seiya’s intentions are to maliciously shove herself into Mamoru’s place in Usagi’s life. She has no idea who Tuxedo Mask is. She had no idea that throwing the red rose - her own personal trademark - was going to trigger such an emotional response from Usagi. So here they both are on this rooftop in the middle of the pouring rain. Usagi’s breaking down over how alone she feels, and Seiya’s suddenly faced with the realization that not only did she cause this breakdown, everything she had been trying to do to help her wasn’t working and she failed again. She couldn’t save her system/planets, 99.9% of her people are literally dead because she wasn’t strong enough to save them, and she and the other two members of her team had no idea where their princess was or even if she was okay until the episode before this one. Immediately after the destruction of everything they knew, the Starlights had to flee to an alien planet with alien people, disguise themselves, and pander to a bunch of complete strangers that salivated over, stalked, and harassed them, all while searching for their princess  and fighting the minions of the person who ctrl+a ctrl+x’ed their home system. She had no time to process any of the unimaginable loss and failure she had suffered through. When people talk about the rooftop scene and about how Seiya “makes it about herself,” this is everything they’re forgetting. When Seiya is asking Usagi if she isn’t good enough, it isn’t Seiya trying to weasel her way in, it’s Seiya both coping with her own numerous losses and trying to remind Usagi that she’s there for her. In the end, Seiya is the one that Usagi credits with being able to get herself through everything she was dealing with.

Hello if it’s ok can I request a Manigoldo x Male reader angst and fluff. It’s when Manigoldo died and his soul visited Shion at his temple. Basically Manigoldo also visits his lover for what he believes will be for the last time. The fluff part is that the Male reader was training for getting the Virgo gold cloth and he also dies later permanently destroying Thanos. And both Manigoldo and the male reader reincarnate and meet and recognize each other again and they are so happy to re unite and decide to face whatever the future holds together.

That's a good idea, although unfortunately I do stick a bit more to the lore of saint seiya and the rules of Greek mythology (they didn't believe in reincarnation). But you are lucky that with Danann/Ada's lore this is possible.

So I'll change it a little bit, I hope you don't mind.

The box glowed immeasurably for a few seconds until the phenomenon disappeared as quickly as it came. Lynx (Y/N) hugged the Cancer saint with his last strength, shedding tears at the death of his beloved, letting out a heartbreaking cry full of sadness.

--- You did it, you sealed Thanatos... you did it, crab --- the young man turned to see the redhead, who held the box where the god had been sealed, the saint of Vulpecula looked at the engravings in detail until she looked at the saint of Lynx, although with the mask it was difficult to know what Danann was looking, feeling or thinking --- Come (Y/N), let me heal you.

--- Have you no feelings at all? --- the saint spoke rudely, full of anger at the calm attitude of the young woman --- Manigoldo was your friend, and you act as if he had fallen asleep after a drunken binge.

--- What did you just do? --- The young man bellowed, moving as far away as he could from her, who seemed to be approaching him to do the same.

--- My brother Ibic, my deranged and crazy brother --- laughed the young woman, recalling what seemed to be old memories of him --- he taught me how to... deflect the dead. The triquet, a simple but powerful symbol, not for nothing Athena herself asked for our help --- (Y/N) opened his eyes wide, full of surprise and disbelief. Athena did what? --- Setanta, my other brother, always told me that when she was young she was very proud, she even wanted to deceive Father, but she couldn't and paid the price.

--- Why are you telling me this? Why now?

--- So that Ibic knows that I sent you, in case in the Alltar or Other World you don't find Manigoldo... or in case the moron throws away the letter I gave him.

--- He wouldn't do that... okay, yes he would, but not because of what you think...

--- Are you two lovebirds done? --- spoke the stranger who was ignored by the two lovers, so deep in their world, so deep that it seemed that Manigoldo was going deeper, so the young man with orange hair separated them --- Very well, I'll stop them here before you do something or the siabhra do something.

--- Got it, I'll stop Cibic --- Manigoldo growled as he approached his beloved --- when we're safe, I'll make you meow, kitty --- whispered in his ear, causing him (Y/N) to blush... but he remembered. Without warning, the young man slapped his partner, leaving Manigoldo and Cibic stunned.

--- What was that for?!

--- You said that night no one would listen to us, you lied, Danann and Alba listened.

---... that bitch, she said she was never going to tell, well she told you already when you died... wait how did you die? I was supposed to get you to safety.

--- I tried to destroy Thanatos already once he was sealed, but even inside the seal he fought back, so I guess Danann finally did me a favor. At least she did it fast.

--- Kitty, you're an idiot, but you're my idiot.

Both lovers pressed their lips together again, happy that even this strange place, they could be together.

I already received your friends at Alltar, it was a road full of surprises and jokes, as well as many explanations. Don't worry, they are already under the care of Boris who seems to want to kill you for giving him more work; after all, being reborn is a long and heavy process as you know.

The family is fine, but our brothers Olindico and Setanta seem willing to pay you a little visit. Apparently that Manigoldo guy said or joked about you having a boyfriend, and you know how they are, and they didn't take it very well.

But back to your friends, some of them hesitated to join the minor keltois; the good thing is that Galahad didn't take the rejection badly, it was quite understandable. Boris, well, he didn't offer to teach them anything or let them stay in his ward; you know how he likes to keep Father's secrets and the keltoi away from those he doesn't know. For now, they will be under the care of Percival and the 12 Sídhe Keltoi, watching that they don't get too smart like their.... well, you know who I mean.

I miss you, we miss you, and most of all, Dad misses you. We wait for you to decide to come back, but I can tell that where you are, you seem to be doing well. If you ever have a week off, visit us.

Los arboles eran de tonos mas vivos, incluso había uno de tronco rojo y hojas doradas, los animales eran tan quiméricos y venustos. Sin embargo, su atención se centro en un grito por una voz familiar, seguida de otro de una voz desconocida.

Cuando volteo hacia la voz fue recibido por un abrazo y un beso apasionado, era algo tan típico del santo de Cáncer, pero (Y/N) sintió en su corazón una inmensa alegría y alivio al volver a ver a su amado.

--- ¿Ya acabaron, par de tortolos? --- hablo el desconocido que fue ignorado por los dos amantes metidos en su mundo, tan metidos que parecía que Manigoldo iba profundizar por lo cual el joven de pelo anaranjado los separo --- Muy bien, aquí los detengo antes de que hagan algo o los siabhra hagan algo.

--- Entendido, ya paro Cibic --- gruño Manigoldo mientras se acercaba a su amado --- cuando estemos seguros, te voy a hacer maullar, gatito --- susurro en su oído, causando que (Y/N) se sonrojara... pero recordara. Sin aviso alguno, el joven le dio una cachetada a su pareja, dejando a Manigoldo y Cibic estupefactos.

--- Dijiste que esa noche nadie nos escucharía, mentiste, Danann y Alba escucharon

---... esa maldita, dijo que no lo iba decir nunca, bueno te lo dijo ya cuando moriste... espera ¿Cómo moriste? Se suponía que te puse a salvo

--- Trate de destruir a Thanatos ya una vez sellado, pero aun dentro del sello contraataco, así que creo que Danann al final me hizo un favor. Al menos lo hizo rápido

Ya recibí a tus amigos en Alltar, fue un camino lleno de sorpresas y bromas, así como muchas explicaciones. Descuida, ya están bajo el cuidado de Boris quien parece que te quiere asesinar por darle mas trabajo; después de todo, renacer es un proceso largo y pesado como ya sabes.

La familia esta bien, pero nuestros hermanos Olindico y Setanta parecen dispuestos a darte una pequeña visita. Al parecer ese tal Manigoldo dijo o bromeo acerca de que tenias novio, y ya sabes como son, y no se lo tomaron muy bien.

Pero volviendo con tus amigos, algunos dudaron si unirse a los keltois menores; lo bueno es que Galahad no se tomo a mal el rechazo, fue bastante comprensible. The bar owner soon sprinted toward the musicians and on the stage, trying to avoid various other objects projecting through the air in the meantime.

“Guys, you got any other songs to play?”

Taiki, who was standing in the back at a keyboard, walked up to join the conversation. “What other songs? This is all we know.” He explained while kicking off a half-eaten chicken wing that landed on his shoe.

“You play the same set every night. They want something fresh.”

“Well, maybe you need to get more patrons instead of the same ones every night,” Yaten growled with a lime green twitchy eye. “It’s not our fault your regulars live here.”

“Listen,” the owner paused to grimace in figurative pain as he felt something wet hit his back. “You need to mix it up.”

“We can’t,” Seiya replied firmly. “We need to play these songs.”

“Then pack it up. The show’s over.”

Yaten released his guitar in order to gesture to drive his point across, letting it hang on his neck. “No! You need to let us play!”

That was it—and not that it usually took very much anyway—Yaten was over the edge. He lifted the strap over his head and tossed his instrument to Taiki before tackling the owner to the stage floor with his standard flying squirrel technique.

Taiki and Yaten came up behind Star Fighter—donning a few scratches, cuts, and tousled hair—all the while still moving pretty well.

“Seiya, you dumbfuck, why’d you transform?” Yaten chastised.

“I’m the dumbfuck?” Fighter gave her crazy eyes. “They were going to kill me!” For a split second, she forgot about her leg and put weight on it while yelling back. However, the appendage was quick to remind her that something was wrong. She winced and seethed in a breath as she fell on Taiki for support.

“Let’s get out of here,” Taiki suggested calmly as he wrapped Fighter’s arm around his neck. Yaten followed suit on the other side.

He had heard she was a kind and just ruler, albeit young, but from his years of intergalactic travel before ending up in Crystal Tokyo, it could very well be propaganda.

He guessed he was about to find out.

Once the car made it to the bridge that led to the palace, one needed two hands to count all the checkpoints. The palace seemed to be built specifically to reflect the moonlight, producing a daytime-like glow once they were on royal grounds. However, the car parked in front of an inconspicuous building behind a row of trees a couple of minutes shy of the actual palace, and then the blonde dragged Seiya out of the vehicle by his handcuff chains, causing his shiny black cane to drop on the ground. Diagnosed with a temporary disability from his hurt leg, the doctors issued the walking aid to help with his mobility for the next couple of weeks, but the blonde didn't care.

“Haruka, be gentle.” The teal-headed guardian chided.

“Why?”

“You know how handcuffs can hurt if you’re too rough.”

“And you will know, too… once we’re done tonight.”

Seiya raised an eyebrow, wondering if they knew their whispering wasn’t really whispering; he even caught the driver looking back with a nosy eye. Feeling a sense of dread of being transported to a second location, he limped along slowly, following the driver inside the building while trailed by the guardians.

He was led to a room that was comfortably simple and aesthetically feminine—its motif included ribbons, swirls, and florals in a combination of white and pink colors. And a small white round table sat in the middle of the space with four plush boudoir chairs surrounding it. Seiya even picked up on the scent of stargazer lilies before he noticed them sitting on a side table by the door.

But apparently, there was no time to take in his surroundings as he felt a shove on his back, forcing him to keep his balance with his bad leg. He turned around to glare at the blonde guardian.

“Hurry up!” She pointed inside the room with irritation emanating from her whole body. “The queen is on her way!”

Seiya grumbled and hobbled over to take his place in a chair, releasing a tired sigh. All he wanted was to get this over with and back to his mission. He hated how his only hope rested within the hands of the queen; it made him feel helpless and idle.

It wasn’t much later when he heard the front door of the building open, followed by both guardians bowing on the other side of the threshold at an unseen presence. Assuming the queen herself had arrived, Seiya pulled himself to his feet with the aid of his cane and the table.

"Uranus! Neptune!"

“Neo-Queen Serenity.”

I wonder would a Crisis/Spiderverse type Event happen for Saint Seiya? I mean that all universes and it’s habitants join forces against an evil that want to kill them all? I mean there’s only a story involving the multiverse, the one shot where Shoko (Saintia Sho), Tenma (TLC) and Shura (Episode G Assassin) interacted and battled. But yeah I wonder what you think about a Multiversal event in Saint Seiya?

A multiversal event in Saint Seiya, realistically, would be a total disaster. They will try to kill each other, or at least punch each other in the face. 

As much as I want to imagine the perfect alliance between them, it’s not going to happen. Too many powerful people in one place with many conflicting personalities and motives can only spell disaster. 

I mean, some of them would try to cooperate, and others would work  really well together, but so many of them would just start beating each other in the dirt. 

Someone’s going to try to throttle the traitor Saints, that’s a given. Someone else is going to try and stop them. A few would just argue whether or not some actions are better than others. 

There’s screaming in the distance, because Hakurei punched Saga in the face for what he did to Shion in his universe. Somehow, there’s three different versions of Shion and Dohko. 

Chaos is inevitable. 

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a good idea. 

Not counting the fact that, in the eventuality this multiverse thing also involves warriors that are not Saints (Specter, Marina, etc...), things would be even worse. 

It wouldn’t even be something Spiderverse-like, at least there are more different characters there. Here, though... if you take Classic, Lost Canvas and Next Dimension as different universes (even if they could technically not be) it’s literally three different versions of Shion and Dohko. 

If you take Classic and Saintia Sho alone, it’s already two different versions of every Gold Saint, and if you add Next Dimension and Episode G it gets even worse (again, some of these might not be different universes because travelling back in time and all those shenanigans). 

Same goes for many other characters. 

It would be a mess. A total, unresolvable mess. 

But probably fun to watch.

Hyoga headcanons maybe? c:

Ahh yes my other kid. In no particular order, and it's long so strap in...

-Hyoga could only say/understand when people asked for his name/ hi my name is, in Japanese because that's all his mom had taught him.

-Other than that he really didn't understand Japanese so he was more quiet than he would have been if he could speak the language.

-Hyoga is the second bronze boy who learned to burn Cosmos after Ikki. -At the orphanage he would get in trouble for speaking/writing in Russian but they wouldn't teach him Japanese because he should have known it by now, but he did pick up how to speak it more as he grew up.

-He would attend mass but was given dirty looks for being blonde.

-Shun and Seiya would try to be friend him but he would stare at them with a harsh gaze until they left him alone.

-As soon as he meet the man who adopted him, he knew that there was a different motivation to him.

-He used to hate Saori for not only getting to abuse them, but because her grandfather shows her love that of a parent and he misses that.

-The only time Hyoga ever raised a hand against her is when she tried to take his mother's cross from him, but of course was beaten for it.

-He was also bullied for his blonde hair and Asian eye shape, but in his limited speech Hyoga said the meanest stuff to people.

-Jabu is the worst offender, but by the time Hyoga left to Siberia again that kid lost all of his confidence.

-Hyoga really geared his training for swimming endurance and had a plan to run away to Siberia when he would be sent off to train.

-He actually had no plans to ever return to Japan.

-The first time he meets Isaac and Camus he is overwhelmed by how Isaac is nice to him. That and finally meeting other people who could speak Russian like he can.

-Camus taught the boys how to speak Greek and also taught them French swear words by accident, but Hyoga doesn't cuss.

-Hyoga would try to go to church on Sunday's when they would get the day off but wasn't allowed inside the building.

-He would also make those self deprecating jokes but Isaac would be quick to say "I don't think so" or "Hey be nicer to yourself making mistakes is part of learning", and Hyoga would brush it off.

-So Hyoga dosen't have a sweet tooth like Isaac but he always loved when they would share stolen sweets together, cause it ment more that he remembers him.

-They once almost had a pet polar bear but Camus was quick to tell the boys no.

-Swans used to hang around the two boys during training but stopped coming by when Isaac was gone.

-Actually let's talk about my strange head cannon that Hyoga and Isaac switched fates.

-So when Hyoga and his mom first sailed to Japan the ship they were on was a cargo ship selling Caviar. Hyoga's mom was sent to Siberia for being a teen mom and dishonoring the family name.

-The only thing have value she got to keep was the dress she had, her pink coat and of course the Rosary on her person. This is important as I believe Poseidon only picks noble blood to be Generals in his army.

-As the boat traveled the Kraken felt Hyoga's Cosmo as his scale owner and attacked the ship to try to take him to Atlantis. It was going to let all of the other passengers make it to land.

-Hyoga's mom sacrificed her self because the kraken would only let Hyoga go if she would, because on ships Women and Children have top priorities to life boats.

-In Awaking the spirits of the Siberian sea noted that Hyoga and Isaac would have a tragedy befall them, and Isaac himself wonders why the Kraken showed up after Hyoga makes it to their training ground. So I assume that it followed him when it sense his Cosmos again.

-Then for a while Hyoga and Isaac couldn't break the ice to enter the sea so the sea beast couldn't get to him at least not until Hyoga went to see his mother. That's why the Sea currents happened twice in quick secession on that day.

-When Isaac went to save him and got swept up in the current both of them were on their hands in knees begging for the other to get rescued. That's why the Kraken saved Isaac's life as he drifted farther into the sea.

-The Cygnus cloth also saved Hyoga by blasting the extra current of air to get him back up on land. This is also a move in Awaking when the Gold Hyoga character gives an ally the Northern cross boast. This is my only evidence for this but even still, I think it adds a nice bit of angst.

-Stealing some stuff from G Assassin, Hyoga and Isaac are brothers except in blood and he still thinks of himself like that.

-He used to tell Camus and Isaac that they were wasting their time with him because A he's a bit slower than Isasc and B he only plans to train to survive swimming to his Momma ship.

-That cliff that we see Hyoga jump into at the beginning of episode 3 is made from the hole Issac punched when he saved his life. Camus froze the edges as a memorial to the other kid.

-For the first few months after they lost Isaac, Hyoga would lie next to the hole and stick his hand onto the water below. Even when the ice would pile on top of him and when the tips of his fingers stopped brushing up against the water he would just stay there.

-Of course Camus stopped going to Sanctuary after Isaac too, half from grief and half from making sure Hyoga wouldn't do anything rash if you get what I'm putting down.

-Hyoga was sent to kill the other bronze kids because Sanctuary thought Ikki was dead and they only knew about the torment from Seiya.

-At the tournament he got a mad crush on Shun cause if you watch those episodes again he was gawking at the boy, like wow he's so pretty.

-Hyoga is also the only other saint besides Ikki who has killed before.

-When the go deal with Ikki and his bullshit Hyoga is determined to be the one to end it because he knows how Shun will feel having to kill his brother, because as far as he knew Hyoga killed his.

-Also he taught Shun and the others how to pray as he made the funeral for Ikki when they beat him in combat.

-Hyoga and Miho start a bible study together as Hyoga isn't allowed to be in mass for being a saint of Athena and of course blonde.

-Next to Dohko Hyoga knows more about mythologies than the other bronze kids as Issac and Camus would tell him the stories to help him sleep as he has nightmares alot.

-Hyoga is also Abstinent, so Shun only gets to hold his hand and maybe one or two kisses.

-He only learned how to drive a car because Camus was in charge of bringing the near by Village their Rations and, Issac and Hyoga couldn't carry all of the supplies back. But like what were these two going to crash into anyways.

-The last one I can think about is how much Hyoga conducts himself to be what he thought Isaac would be like as a saint, and only when he starts being more himself is when he defeats his opponents.

-Hyoga made the Aura Thunder Attack to deal with the water currents and that’s why Judo (Black Swan didn’t know the move)
