She is, in my opinion, one of the most “saint-like” people of this show. Even though a major reason behind her wish to become a Saintia resides in Shoko, rather than a desire to simply protect Athena and fight for her, she struck me as a really incredible warrior.
She is incredibly determined, and kept fighting even when her power inferiority against the dryad was blatant. Kyoko absolutely embodies the spirit of a true Saint, even if she’s not perfect at being one (and honestly, almost no one is).
She was willing to sacrifice herself in order to save her sister, which is something I admire of her, and even manages to retain her consciousness while being a host for Eris - though she’s dormant.
Kyoko is incredibly loyal, she cares deeply about her family, and what she lacks in power is made up for with courage and unwillingness to give up.
She may not my favorite character of the series, but still deserves the full score.
These were supposed to be for quick drawings for Aeolia’s birthday but uh- things happen
In any case! I just really wanted to draw him with his older bro, cuz I think that that would make him happy :’^)
Right now...
I'd say either Eurovision songs or OSTs from Tian Guan Ci Fu and Mo Dao Zu Shi.
Sometimes I go back to my roots, though, which is LoTR and Skyrim soundtrack.
When I'm drawing something that I know will take me a long time I just put YT videos in the background, music doesn't keep me entertained for too long :')
hey i was wondering... i really love the honest opinion thing you got going on with saint seiya, and i was thinking if you could do something like that with the characters of mxtx as well? it would be cool to see what you think of the characters and why you like/dislike them. maybe im dreaming too much but i'd love to see it!
I would love to do something like this, maybe a miniseries while still putting out my "normal" content for this blog, but I'm kinda afraid someone's going to come for my ass lol
I'll think about it, though. I'm a really big fan of mxtx, so it would be a lot of fun for me.
The score is literally because I LOVE her personality, at least what we got to see in the anime. Which wasn’t much.
I’m starting to think this series was a bad idea, I should have stuck to the characters that actually have something I can comment on...
I can also say that I quite appreciated her efficiency and responsibility in immediately contacting the Saints when the academy was destroyed. If Saint Seiya taught me something, is that people never say anything when it’s needed and it caused so many new problems that I was happy to see Erda being the responsible one here.
