I’ve received notice that there was a callout on me in the Stanley Parable Creator’s Club server and I would like to address it as I am a bit tired of people talking behind my back. I wasn't contacted by anyone from the server directly about the issue. 

The specific accusations were that I openly discussed a fic with NSFW themes to a minor, shared NSFW fic online without properly warning it for minors, and encouraged a self insert ship of one of my Narrator designs with a minor. 

These accusations are false, or blown entirely out of proportion. I have never intended to hurt people nor endanger minors and based on screenshots I've received, people have been spreading even more extreme misinformations, like me being a groomer. I want to tell the story with the mentioned earlier things, in hopes to clear up this matter and stop the harassment me and people received. 

1) Sharing NSFW Fic Online

I have been informed that I posted a link to my fic, "A broken promise", without a proper warning. 

I did put appropriate warning in the tags, however I did forget about archive warnings options and I misjudged that the T rating would suffice. I also had only mentioned the rape in tags and not in the ao3 warning. I will be more careful when publishing work in the future.

I've deleted the links on my posts and privated the work, as I do not want anyone else to get possibly harmed.

2) Filk

I was informed my never written fic was discussed in the discord as well with a completely incorrect premise and I would like to mention the idea to give people more insight into what it actually is supposed to be, despite the fact that it was never actually written. 

Filk (Fernator's milk) is based on a joke someone made from another fic of mine, "Bon appetit 1.5 - Chicken soup is served " where Stanley buys milk and pickles, and we called it pilk. Somebody made a joke that this is like a pregnancy craving and I decided that that would make a funny CRACK fic premise. Again, I never have written this fic, and the only place it ever existed was in a series of messages in a private discord.

The whole point of crack fics is that it has a stupid premise. In here, it was one of my Narrator's, Fernator, telling Stanley he would make him pregnant. I know that this sounds like the problem, but that was just a premise.

What really happens in the fic is that Fernator tells Stanley about human reproduction but after that, the majority of the fic is a sfw adventure on how viruses, bacteria, and plants reproduce. 

With bacteria, Stanley just gets copied, with viruses, Fernator creates a computer virus and it doesn't work so they move on, and with plant, the title filk comes in which is milk with fern spores in it. It ends up just in Stanley's foot. The end goal was for them to just get the cutout Baby as their child and then, the main fic that I talked about would end. After a while, they would realise they didn't really succeed and would try to make something, pouring filk onto Fernator and creating Pickle Rick.

The accusations of this being a non con confuse me as Stanley is happy to be brought onto this journey and there are no actual sexual activities involved in this not written project. 

3) Art with minor

One person was very supportive of one of my Narrators, Jester (they drew him a bit), and even started to call him their husband. Since they're my friend, I wanted to make them happy, so I drew something I deemed wholesome and platonic. They also took my drawing this way. 

In my eyes at the time, when I made the art, I never thought of this 'ship' as anything other than admiration for a design. 

However, that context got lost when they reposted my art on that server with my permission. 

I now see how people could think otherwise and I will be far more wary about this topic in the future.

However, while the announcement didn't use the exact word 'groomer', it highly implied it. I feel wronged for that as I received a lot of harassment in my direct messages. 

I would like a statement and an apology from the announcers because their words caused a lot of harm.

4) Conclusion

I want to finish this off with being honest about the mistakes I've made of not properly checking sfw spaces - which started all this - and talking about suggestive matters within them. The fanfiction link was certainly a slip up but I will be more careful in the future of what I post. 

However - I also want to say that it's not okay to harass people who got involved in this.

I myself have received false accusations already and seen my work be misinterpreted. I only learnt about this through buds giving me a notice and I do ask, if a similar situation would ever occur, which I don't plan on, to message me directly first about my mistake.

In the future, I will remember to double check where I discuss my fic ideas and I'll do everything in my power for this situation not to repeat.

I apologize for not posting for days, my school year had just finished up, so I was able to make this final post.

You guys heard it right, I won't be posting anymore, I don't feel as excited as I used to be in The Stanley Parable fandom, and I could guess that other people also felt the same.

It's normal to leave fandoms, I have seen a post that talked about this, it was a post made by someone who treasured every moment in the TSP fandom, and how they knew that one day, they will leave as well.

I really don't want to leave, but I was cornered by what you call "FALLING OUT", I don't have any good ideas for a story, meme, or post, I feel that I used everything I could gather from the game and tried to use some new ideas for it...

But none of it works, i knew this would happen when a game had finished content, maybe 5 years in the future we will get a sequel, there are so many ideas, Yes, BUT honestly with how everything is already explored in the game, we only have ships, fan arts, memes, theories, and fanfictions as well, those are the only things that keeps this fandom running.

I love Stanley and the Narrator, I love their silly dynamics, especially the special kind of relationship they have, the fact we have free choice whether they have a romantic, platonic, or enemies kind of relationship makes me happy :)

Ok so like....I have this very important ongoing au that is sort of a gift for my friend (@otherworldlyoddities45) and sort of just me being quirky. It's a Half Life/HLVRAI actor au, but instead of the plot itself being acted out by the characters they are actually filming a movie series called The Divine Comedy: An Exploration of True Nature written by G' and Ga-men (our versions of G-man, G' is canon G-man and Ga-men is the HLVRAI G-man) for their special lil guys. Yeah. More stuff below the cut, and yes Evil G-man is the Hunt Down the Freeman G-man he is my skrunk ok ok

Ok so this is the basic idea of the plot. Quick note all characters in the movies are based off the people who play them! It is also very camp and early sci-fi, the costumes are very over-the-top and the makeup is quite dramatic. Also uhh the planets are all kinda like in kid's shows where they are for one thing in particular because it's fun. Ok so both spirits, The Spirit of Knowledge (G') and The Spirit of Curiosity (Ga-men) wish to help this new universe they have. This universe is ran by the Spirit of Uncertainty (Evil G-man because he would be interesting as an opposing force hehe) who is...not a great guide.

Each Spirit chooses their group of adventurers, both starting with their Gordons. Both Gordons are just...normal guys, just like in canon. They are both given the title of The Focal Point, Freeman is just The Focal Point and Feetman is Focal Point (2). Freeman is focused on first as he begins to travel with Knowledge.

They meet The Guard (played by Barney). The Guard was set to watch something that is now long gone but he still has a loyalty to it so he never left. He lives on the Planet of the Princess's Heart. Gordon encourages him to come with, and he goes gladly. He admits to his loniless, and that he regrets staying so long in a way but he knew it was the best thing he could have done.

They then go to the Planet of Gears and meet The Tinkerer (Alyx), The Leader (Eli), and The Guide (Russell). Tinkerer looks to the stars, waiting for someone to come home as she builds machines and learns about the worlds outside hers from her father and Guide. Leader helps her, showing her how to map the stars and know what was coming. She jumps at the opportunity to go explore the world, and Leader goes as well. Guide stays behind, but makes sure to keep in touch.

The last person they meet that joins their group is The Crafter (Kleiner), who lives alone inside a glass planet. He was put there to experiment with teleportation after The Critic (Magunessen) and The Administrator (Breen) set him up to it. Administrator was told to do it by Uncertainty, but Critic was simply jealous of Crafter. It was made to be an impossible task as they equipment he was given had no chance of ever making him reach to the nearest planet. He actually does in the end, landing right onto the ship since it finally drew close enough for the teleportation technology to work.

The other Gordon also is exploring and meeting people, starting with The Gatekeeper (Benrey) who bars him from going any further for... obvious reasons, and joins to "keep an eye" on Gordon. He does make a promise that as long Gordon behaved that he could keep Gordon safe.

The next person they meet is The Researcher (Tommy) who lives alone in an expansive library with his dog and a mysterious father figure, who turns out just to be Curiosity. He has everything he could ever want except friends. Gordon and Gatekeeper get lost in the library, and Tommy shows them all the secret passages back to their ship. They offer to take him with them and he gladly goes with the two, hopeful and glad to make friends.

The next person they meet is The Robot (Coomer), a robotic servant left alone in a manor. He is pretty rusty and old, his mind slowly breaking down, and he tries to attack them at first. He doesn't want to hurt them, he just wants out of this prison. All three offer to take him with them, and he readily agrees. Curiosity renames him The Boxer.

They then meet The Spaceman (Bubby) who is stuck in his Space Ship and has been for years. The crew find out he is surrounded by prototypes of himself, and he's been using their parts to fix his ship as he had nothing else. Once they free him he demands to join them and they say yes.

There is also a little (hehe) opposing force being collected by Uncertainty, which consists of The Soldier (Adrian), The Hunter (Mitchell), The Marked (Forzen), The Brawler (Chell) and The Mixer (Darnold). Soldier and Marked both agreed to help Uncertainty because Hunter thought it was a good idea, and they had previously been in charge of protection of the denizens of the universe. Mixer stayed with Marked because they are very close and care for each other. Brawler is barely part of the team and leaves as soon as she stops enjoying her job.

Soldier ends up joining Knowledge's team since he can't deal with how childish Uncertainty acts and how horribly he runs things. He also hates being used like a toy. While he clashes a lot with the other members, he still find this better then the alternative. Hunter is the only one that really wants to help Uncertainty because he feels it gives him a purpose. He also wants to prove that he is just as good as his older brother, that he isn't just second fiddle. While he isn't dangerous to either group, he's persistent and fairly annoying.

Marked and Mixer are rarely seen without each other. Marked has separation anxiety and he can't stick too close to his brothers without them getting upset. Mixer eventually convinces him that this whole thing isn't worth it and they strike off on their own so they can be their own people. They do act as helpers towards Focal Point (2)'s team.

And what about it? My personal internet search history is none of your business. It was an unfortunate mistake on my part that I didn't crop it out of that one trailer (I assume that is what you're referring to), but it had nothing to do with substance of what I was saying. Nor does it have any bearing on the content of The Stanley Parable, which does not feature kissing of any kind, by Stanley or anyone else.

Not that I got a lot of results off of that search anyway. Perhaps if I had given Stanley a last name, it would be easier to search up fan depictions of him. Instead I had to refine my search over and over again with long phrases like "the stanley parable stanley kissing the narrator non-human narrator". But I must say, finding Tumblr has been a wonderful blessing due to its tagging system. Now I just need to scroll through the main tags and the ship tag! Although I think there's got to be a catchier ship name than "stanarrator". Shorten it further. Starrator. Narley. Or do one of those abstract ship names and call it like, Plot Twist. I like the sound of that.

Where was I going with this post again? Oh right. Don't judge me for looking at fanart of my own game. You're all such wonderful and talented artists and I feel overjoyed to see how much you appreciate me and Stanley. I appreciate all of you in turn!

So people have some thoughts on who 432 could be. I have my own thoughts I'd like to share, since a couple of people liked my thank you to Crows Crows Crows so hey.

Also, yes there ARE spoilers to TSP UD again. For the sake of it being spoilers and this WILL be a big post, I'll just add my thoughts below the cut.

So! Who is 432 in my personal hc?

Narrator... At least, formerly before TSP.

Let me explain this one.

So first off, a plot about doing a monotonous and tedious job and finding out the only reason you're happy with it is via mind control and the story is about breaking yourself free to live your life? That is 100% from the perspective of someone who has some experience in this environment, and I will not be convinced otherwise.

Like, we all KNOW a 9 to 5 sucks even if we don't work there, but to so heavily take place in an office building and one that specifically has a shipping department not far from there with shelves upon shelves of boxes is NOT the writings of a man who didn't work at a similar place. Especially when you consider WHY Stanley even exists. Quote from one of the new endings to UD

"I remember before this whole story got started. Back then I was - I was different."

"I used to make big decisions. I was passionate. I was sceptical."

...

"And then, somewhere along the way, I stopped making decisions."

"I became lazy. And I came up with - well..."

"I came up with a character named Stanley to do my thinking for me."

...

"Why did I invent Stanley? Was I lonely?"

"Yes perhaps that's it. Perhaps I needed to imagine companionship."

"And Stanley did make for a wonderful companion."

"Even if he was fiction."

...Not only do we get confirmation of why Stanley and his story was written. He was written to serve as Narry's companion through his life. More than likely, through his job, and his lack of friendly peers IN his job.

And even in the vanilla ORIGINAL game, there was this sheet of paper.

There's literally a whole ROOM dedicated to "Employee 432 peer reviews." No, I'm not joking. Here's a screenshot I took myself.

(Now, I don't wanna assume pronouns, but as a side note, Narry voiced by Kevan Brighting, a male voice, so the fact these papers have He/Him pronouns also fits into that this could be Narrator IRL assuming his voice ISN'T going through a voice filter from... Wherever he's talking from.)

Having all of these negative things said about 432, he might have stopped thinking for himself and just decided to follow along to please his peers. And as a reminder as to how NARRY handles negative feedback, what was one of the first "New Content" paths we see proper?

He IMMEDIATELY bends over backwards to have as little negative reviews as he could from other people. He IMMEDIATELY takes it to heart even though in the end, adding it only makes him unhappy with the final product. He IMMEDIATELY becomes self conscious after the first two critics.

"Only positive reviews of the Stanley Parable. That's my motto of today, and it's always been my motto! I'd do anything for the customer, Stanley."

And speaking of new content, we get to see more than the one place then the "wife" ending

For a refresher: We have the original apartment from the original game, the more expensive looking apartment in the... I don't know what the ending is called, but I called it the "bucket cult" ending, personally. And finally, the Memory Zone... House? Cabin? Property?

We'll say Memory Zone Cabin.

I have a feeling the cheap apartment was during Narry's time working mindlessly for the company.

The expensive either was before or after he worked there. Unfortunately, it's more likely it was before he started working, he lost it, and had to work at his 9 to 5. At least in my eyes.

And finally, the Memory Zone Cabin is, as Narry kinda confirmed it to be, his happy place. That would be the DREAM for him. To live somewhere cozy out with a whole lot of flora and nature. Might I add in the "Story" ending that we get something similar shown to us as a reward for playing Narry's story?

It's not the same exact location, obviously, but it's still very nature-y in theme.

Having all these other locations that isn't the office are usually apartments, or video games in the "Games" endings. Things that Narry COULD feasibly see in his real life to put into TSP. The Mind Control facility is very much mission control and general science fiction looking locations like what you see on TV. There's the museum theme for the "Escape" ending. Maybe the "Zen" ending was another thing like the Memory Zone of a happy place. All things that either one could come up with, or take HEAVY inspiration from in their real life.

The Stanley Parable's Story ending is the ending HE always wanted for himself. Stanley is his escapism character. In Stanley getting this ending, NARRY gets that ending. And when Stanley wanders away from going with this story, he's punished for essentially taking away Narry's one and only way to get a good ending, and so Stanley doesn't get a good ending if Narry doesn't.

Which makes the "Zen" ending all the more potent in sadness. While Stanley is essentially getting to do what Narry does to him of taking the potentially good ending with a very "I'm taking you down with me", Narrator truly doesn't feel genuinely happy himself all the time. This story he crafted is a coping mechanism, and he's desperate for it to work as best as possible. If you had anti depressant medication and they only work a portion of the time; essentially when they actually FEEL like working with and for you, how'd frustrated would YOU feel when they don't work towards them?

TL;DR: 432 has gotten so much bullying from his co-workers, that it wouldn't be a stretch to the imagination that he would want an escape. ANY escape he can find. So I can see 432 being a desperate Narrator making Stanley so he feels like he has SOME semblance of choices being made, even if it's for him. Taking real places he's seen, or taking the image of some happy places, and inserting them into TSP. I can see it being his escapism dream, and the ending of, ironically enough, breaking the cycle, being what HE dreams of most.

You know my knee-jerk reaction would be to say that Stanley would be the ant and Jim would be the fungus, but I don't think it's as clear cut as that. Certainly, it's true that Jim feels as though that Stanley is often his driving force at times. He needs Stanley, and that need is his only coping mechanism in the parable. But honestly, Jim may be just as much the ant. Their relationship is symbiotic, often Jim has to communicate for Stanley, convey his feelings. He depends on Jim's understanding of him. Hm.

4: (when the roles are blurred/reversed who would be the first to die and how?)

This kinda did happen? They were always someone forced with the burden of going through the cycle and bystander/unfussed by it. With the parable, it just got switched. And while Stanley experiences a physical death over and over and over, he can adapt. Jim, however, I'm unsure if I can call how he lives "surviving". It's like a constant slow death. So I think it would be Jim to die first. At least in a way that matters. Or at least how I interpret it.

anyway short little 432 self ship fic. accidentally got a ship tag out of this bad boy. it's mostly just vibes and hopefully the vibes are good. vague drug implications, by which i mean there's a 420 Funny Number joke that isn't called attention to

“Please enter the correct time.”

At this point, Employee 432 had completely lost count of how many times they’d said this. How many times they’d gone through all of their lines of dialogue. The times, the sliders, the sequels; if they said it, this player had seen it several times. What’s more, the time between new save files was getting shorter and shorter. The player actually hadn’t gotten to the epilogue in a while, and 432 was beginning to suspect they weren’t even playing the game in between deletions.

They didn’t pay attention to the time the player put in. At this point, they trusted it to be correct. It had always been too specific to be wrong.

“Please adjust the slider until the computer is barely visible.” 

It was peculiar, to say the least, that someone with a full video game at their disposal would delete their save file over and over again just to see the pre-game settings menu. Of course, it wasn’t like there was any meaningful progress they could lose by doing so. They’d just have to redo some of the new endings, and if the amount of times they’d done it was any indication they had no issue with that.

They watched as the player set the slider to a high brightness, just as they always did. Bad vision, perhaps, or sub-optimal lighting in the room they were playing in? 432 had their theories.

–

“Ahhh, 4:20 PM. Your favorite time of day.”

It was always 4:20 PM, from the first run to now. That was what perplexed them the most about this player–their choices were always the same.

They made the dog and cat friends seemingly as fast as they physically could, and they always chose the word “occuboinkal”. Like the brightness setting, these, too, painted a few different pictures–someone who tried not to take things too seriously, but was kind when it counted, or perhaps just someone fond of routine? 432 couldn’t say for sure–no amount of repetition can make a settings menu an effective vehicle for getting to know another person, even if it’s all one has. All they could really tell was that whatever this person’s reasoning for coming back so many times was, it wasn’t anything like trying all the different options or trying to milk new dialogue.

So what was it?

–

“Why are you doing this?”

They hadn’t meant to ask it. They didn’t even know they could ask it. They’d been trying to just ask for the correct time again, but instead that question (the one that had been burning a hole in their mind for so many turns of this wheel) slipped out. They’d long since lost any sense of kinesthesis, but on some detached level they knew that if they were still physical they would have immediately covered their mouth, embarrassed by the outburst. Not that the player could see it either way.

No answer came from the other side of the screen, although they could see the player’s cursor stop abruptly, as if in shock.

“Sorry. Forget I asked that.” A pause, and then, “Please enter the correct time.”

The cursor wiggled from side to side, increasing in speed as the time entry screen came up. Was the player trying to say no?

They pulled back the time entry and said, “Don’t worry about what I asked. I don’t have anything you can use to enter text, anyway. I’m sorry. You can enter your favorite time for this one, too, if it makes you feel better.” Another pause, then, once again, “Please enter the correct time.”

The player entered 4:32 AM.

“Thank you. Please enjoy The Stanley Parable.”

Time didn’t really mean anything where 432 was, but all the same, it had been a while since they’d heard from the player. It could have been hours, it could have been years; all they knew was that ever since this player first showed up they’d never spent this long…they hesitated to say “alone”. There wasn’t really a difference between being alone and being in the company of someone who could do nothing but read your words on their screen, responding only by way of button or slider or chosen time.

But all the same, someone had been there. Someone had been listening, and they’d responded whenever the option was available to them. And now, because of 432’s little lapse in judgment, that person was gone.

What’s more, the last time they entered…had they just been playing the game at an odd hour? Maybe that was it. They’d stayed up too late playing games, and the sudden change in 432’s dialogue had scared them, so they’d quit playing and gone to bed, writing the whole experience off as a strange dream. Now they were hesitant to boot the game up.

It was a comfortable answer, so it probably wasn’t true. No, better to stick with what time and time again had proven to be true–nobody wants to talk to the weird guy at the office, even if they do spare the occasional pleasantries. You couldn’t hope to know someone by way of a settings menu, and you certainly couldn’t hope to be their friend. Video games were meant to be played alone.

It had been nice while it lasted, though.

What happened, a nebulous amount of time later, was a sensation that put 432 in mind of being awakened unexpectedly by their bedroom door suddenly opening. The player was back.

“Please enter the correct–”

Something in the corner of their vision stopped them. Was that…?

Unknown command: hey can you see this

“How did you get the console to work in this version?”

Unknown command: very carefully

Unknown command: sorry for leaving you hanging like that

Unknown command: it took longer than i was hoping

432 had formulated numerous theories in the time since they’d last seen the player about why they’d left. They’d been sound theories, built on a combination of collected data and general observations of previous behavior. Absolutely none of them had been “they were modifying the game to display a command console so they could answer 432”.

“Why did you do this?”

Unknown command: same reason i kept deleting my save file without actually playing the game

Unknown command: i wanted to hang out with you

“I don’t understand…”

Unknown command: i cant really explain it

Unknown command: not in a way that makes any sense

Unknown command: the parable dudes arent as good of conversationalists as you i guess

“That’s not a high bar to clear. One of them is stuck in first person perspective and the other can’t go more than a minute or two without hearing his own voice.”

Unknown command: see what i mean

Unknown command: cant get jokes like that in the parable

432 remembered, despite everything, what a smile felt like, and the sensation of one was spreading through their being right now.

“I know it’s silly, because this is the first time we’ve ever had a real conversation, but I missed you.”

Unknown command: i missed you too

The warmth in their being at the sight of those four words was indescribable in any way other than almost, maybe, hoping-against-hope, feeling human again. “What’s your name?”

Unknown command: my name is isabeau

“Thank you, Isabeau. It’s nice to finally meet you.”
