Radioactive kitties au, part 2.
We got Lucifer and Lilith. Lucifer is just another little guy. With a tall wife. I made her, that she fused with a goat in a way. Logistics will be fully thought through later. Lilith disappeared a few years ago, was taken by humans. Lucifer has been sad for a while, but Charlie got him out of it.
Then there is Vaggie and Charlie. I gave Charlie horns just to implore she is higher in status. As for Vaggie using to be an angel... Well, I decided to add an experiment humans decided to conclude. Basically, they turned their soldiers into cats to infiltrate and kill this evolved cats. Vaggie spared a kitten and it goes from there. After a while she started to feel like a cat, and almost forgot her human life. Kitten that she spared is one of three adopted kits they have. Yes, It's Keekee, Razzle and Dazzle.
Then there is Angel Dust. Of course, the special pose guy, with 8 legs and 8 eyes. Seems legit. His eyes glow in the dark. He has one kitten, that will be drawn later. Yes. It's Fat nuggets.
And Husk... I got a comment saying I just copy pasted his face. 🤣 Eh, kinda, Lol. You can't change a cat demon that much. He has an effect on people, that after a while they just start to tell him their problems. He is a therapy cat.
Nifty is another funny little thing. I just let Alastor adopt her. Funny little things stick together. She is the fastest cat around.
Cherry Bomb is a cutesy one. She is together with Sir Pentious in this one. She can cause things around her to explode. And Precious is fused with a snake. The Egg boys I just made their children to not think too much about it. Frank is fully socks one. The other don't have names, but there are the twins and the tired one.

Not the baby!! | Various x Kid!Reader |
Summary: You manage to enter Alastor's shield and now the Angels wants to attack you.
Warnings: off canon events - canon violence - our kid!reader its not a fighter TwT - Part of the family series - grammar mistakes
Tumblr media
You managed to enter Alastor's shield just when it almost closed up. You knew you should not be in here, but you wanted to help you new big sister and help your Uncle and Friends!!
Of course it ended badly.
The first to notice you was Angel who got you using one hand then shooting the Angels.
"What are you doing here (Y/N)?" Angel asked desesperated getting a curious look from Husk.
"Why its Lucifer's kid here?" He shelled this getting the attention of other Angels now.
"(Y/N)?" Charlie called over with a worried tone seeing you.
"Hi Sis!!" You waved completly ignoring the upcoming Angels.
~☆~☆~☆~
Lucifer was losing his cool. He knew he should have been more careful when he told you about what was going to happen at the Hotel. He should had tought better, now you were there, trapped.
"Dont worry (Y/N) im going" he silently said wings flying quickly for you
~☆~☆~☆~
Once Adam broke down the shield Alastor was down there ready to fight him off. The problem was, you were there too. Because Angel tought the best protector for you would be him.
"(Y/N) you should move away form here" Alastor said softly making his shadow tentacle reach you to pull you away from him and Adam. "But Uncle I wanna help"
~☆~☆~☆~☆
Saddly Alastor had lost against Adam who now had you by the leg taunting you.
"Is this the failure we missed? You seem to have made some shit Friends in here, who lets a kid fight?" He asked himself only to get a bite from you as you jerked your body.
"Fuck you"
"You are going to die you little bitch" Adam responded letting you go from the high air. Tears fell down your eyes as you saw him also destroying Sir.Pentious's ship.
"I got you!!" You were suddendly in Vaggies arms who held you protective in the air.
"Vaggie watch out!!" You tried to warn her seeing another Angel coming towards her.
~☆~☆~☆~☆
Everything seemed lost. Charlie had tried to fight off Adam but could not do it. She was now hugging you, keeping you behind her with angry eyes towards the first Man.
"And now-"
A single punch was all it needed to send him flying away.
"DAD!!" Charlie and you screamed seeing the flying form of Lucifer.
~☆~☆~☆~☆~
"Oh my precious kids!!" Lucifer said once the battle ended, Adam being killed by Nifty at the end. "Never do something like that again" your dad said to you hugging you and almost crushing you.
"Im sorry dad, I wanted to help"
"Let the adults do the work kid"
~☆~☆~☆~☆
As the hotel was re made you wondered where Alastor was. Sure he could not be dead, right?
Right?
"Did you miss me little one?" A very distinct voice asked
"UNCLE!!" In a flash you were in his arms, your own tiny ones around his neck. "I thought you were dead"
Alastor eye twitched for a moment then smiled softly "it takes more than that to kill me, my kid"
"PUT MY KID DOWN, ALASTOR" a very jealous Lucifer screamed looking at him.
"Can we go to Rosie's restaurant later?"
"Yes"
"NO, you are grounded"
~☆~☆~☆~☆
"Ahh.....fuck" you cursed getting a suprised look from everyone.
"What?....im a Demon too" You said getting a laught from Angel

Grading Hazbin Characters Based on How Well They Lace Your Corset
cw: Slightly Suggestive content!!
//
Charlie: B-. She can kinda do it, but gets so excited thinking about how pretty you look that her hands keep fumbling, leaving you with a corset that’s comfortable, but not evenly laced if you look closely.
Vaggie: B+. More coordinated than Charlie, but she’s confused as to why you’re wearing this. “Babe, you look fine without this. Won’t it inhibit your movements? Are you uncomfortable?” She doesn’t understand why you want to wear something so fancy for a casual day at the hotel.
Angel Dust: A+++. He can do this in his /sleep/, and the fact that he has four arms is clearly helpful. He laces corsets for himself often, and he obviously can’t see the back when doing it, so when he’s lacing yours where he can see? It’s done in less than a minute, and perfectly. Man is an absolute legend. He’ll also give you tips on how to lace it yourself in ways that won’t be as restrictive, in case you’re planning on…/certain activities./
Husk: Solid C. He /can/ do it, but he doesn’t exactly /want/ to, and he doesn’t have a lot of experience. Besides, he’s really cautious about hurting you, so he probably doesn’t tighten it as much as he should, which leaves the top half slightly loose. (He is looking *respectfully*)
Nifty: F. She simply can’t reach it, and if she manages to jump on your shoulders she’ll just start dusting you like you’re an antique couch. (She’s doing her best lmao)
Sir Pentious: D- (but A for Effort, he’s so precious I can’t fail him) He’s trying so hard ok!! But he can’t keep track of where the ribbons go, and he probably just offered to lace /everyone’s/ corset after yours, so he’s now worried that he will have to do this impossible task not only once, but for everyone in the damn hotel.
Lucifer: C-. Much like his daughter, he’s too focused on how pretty you look, coupled with the fact that…well, he’s Lucifer, he makes rubber ducks for a living, I just can’t picture him being good at this. But by GOD, he will compliment you to no end while he gives you his best attempt.
Alastor: A+. THIS MAN IS FROM 1920’S NEW ORLEANS. HE IS CLASSY AS HELL. HE PROBABLY DID THIS FOR MIMZY EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. He’s not as stylistic about it as Angel, but that’s because he likes things more…traditional. And you can bet your ass that he’s going to make you the best Jambalaya on this side of Hell tonight.

ALASTOR x (F)READER
Summary: Someone dared to break Alastor's precious radio and his wrath is inconsolable. But turns out you may have some small tricks up your sleeve.
Warnings: NONE
For the dearest @anon-of-the-void. My darling, it is a pleasure as always to write these for you.
In the bustling chaos of the Hazbin Hotel, where demons sought redemption amidst the fiery chaos of Hell, an unlikely friendship blossomed. Alastor, the infamous Radio Demon, found solace in the presence of Y/N, an inventive soul from the Victorian Era who had found herself amidst the peculiar denizens of the underworld.
Y/N was a tinkerer, always tinkering away in her workshop, concocting gadgets and gizmos that would make even the most adept engineers marvel. Alastor, with his vintage charm and macabre wit, found her creations fascinating, and the two formed an unusual bond over their shared love for innovation.
One fateful day, disaster struck when Alastor's beloved old-time radio, his prized possession from his living days, broke down. The demon was devastated, his usual jovial demeanor clouded by a rare display of anger. The residents of the hotel trembled in fear, knowing the havoc that could be unleashed if the Radio Demon's rage remained unchecked.
Alastor's crimson eyes blazed with fury as he prowled the halls of the Hazbin Hotel, his usual jovial smile replaced by a menacing snarl. The residents cowered in fear, whispering among themselves as they caught glimpses of the Radio Demon's wrathful form.
"You there!" Alastor's voice boomed, sending shivers down the spines of those unfortunate enough to cross his path. "Do you have any idea of the inconvenience of my beloved radio breaking? The nerve, the audacity!"
Niffty, the hyperactive cleaner demon, spoke with a frantic passion as she viewed the mangled radio."Alastor! I'll do it! Let me clean it please!"
Alastor's laughter rang out like a chilling melody, sending a chill through the air. "Oh, my dear Nifty, no thank you. This requires some…interrogation but feel free to clean up the aftermath."
Angel Dust, lounging lazily on a nearby couch, scoffed, "Oh, lighten up, Al, it's just a stupid radio. Besides, it's not like anyone listens to your old-timey tunes anyway."
The room fell silent as Alastor's gaze bore into Angel Dust, his smile twisting into a sinister grin. "Is that so, my dear Angel? Perhaps I should demonstrate the consequences of underestimating the power of music."
With a snap of his fingers, Alastor summoned a spectral microphone, its ethereal glow casting eerie shadows across the room. "Now, let's see who's laughing when I unleash the full force of my wrath upon this wretched offender!"
The residents of the Hazbin Hotel trembled as Alastor's menacing laughter echoed through the halls, knowing all too well that when the Radio Demon was in a foul mood, no one was safe from his terrifying fury.
As fear spread throughout the hotel, Y/N knew she had to act swiftly to quell the storm brewing within Alastor's heart. Ignoring the warnings of her peers, she clandestinely snatched the broken radio and retreated to her workshop, determined to restore it to its former glory.Under the cover of night, she stealthily crept into Alastor's room, her pockets filled with tools and determination. With deft hands, she dismantled the broken radio, each cog and wire familiar to her skilled touch.
Hour after hour, Y/N toiled away, her nimble fingers dancing across the delicate machinery. With each adjustment and tweak, the radio gradually came back to life, its familiar crackle filling the air once more. But as the night wore on,  fatigue gnawed at Y/N's bones, her eyelids growing heavy with exhaustion. But she pressed on, fueled by determination and a desire to see her friend smile once more.
Finally, with a soft click, the radio sprang to life, emitting a crackling sound before filling the room with the familiar strains of vintage jazz. Y/N let out a sigh of relief, a triumphant smile gracing her lips as she admired her handiwork.
But as she stood there basking in her success, fatigue finally caught up with her. With a yawn, she sank into a nearby chair, her eyes fluttering closed as sleep claimed her.
Unbeknownst to her, Alastor had been silently watching from the shadows, his expression unreadable as he observed Y/N's tireless efforts to fix his broken radio. When he saw her succumb to exhaustion, a pang of concern tugged at his heart, softening the edges of his usually stoic demeanor.
Quietly, he approached her slumbering form, his footsteps barely audible against the creaking floorboards. Gently, he brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, his touch light as a feather.
"My dear Y/N," he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur. "Such devotion, such selflessness. You truly are a marvel."
A warmth blossomed in Alastor's chest as he watched her sleep, a feeling he couldn't quite put into words. For the first time in centuries, he felt something akin to tenderness stirring within him—a feeling he realized with a start was nothing short of admiration.
With a soft sigh, Alastor leaned in closer, pressing a gentle kiss to Y/N's forehead before picking up her form and striding over to his bed; tucking her in with the utmost care. As he stood there in the dimly lit room, surrounded by the quiet hum of the fixed radio and the soft breathing of his friend, he knew at that moment that he was irrevocably touched by her kindness.
And as the first light of dawn painted the sky, Alastor silently vowed to cherish and protect Y/N, for she had not only fixed his broken radio but had also managed to mend something far more precious—his wounded heart.
The next morning dawned upon the Hazbin Hotel, the air tinged with a sense of relief as the residents basked in the knowledge that Alastor's beloved radio had been fixed. Alastor strode into the lobby with a confident swagger, his usual grin plastered on his face. With a flick of his wrist, he turned on the radio, the familiar crackle of static filling the air before giving way to the melodic strains of love songs from a bygone era.
The residents exchanged puzzled glances, their confusion evident as they listened to the unexpected playlist. Angel Dust raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. "Well, well, looks like someone's feeling a bit sentimental today."
Alastor's grin widened, though there was a hint of something softer lurking beneath the surface. "Ah, my dear Angel, music has a way of stirring the soul, don't you think?"
As the love songs continued to play, the other residents couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth wash over them. Even the gruffest demons found themselves tapping their claws to the beat, caught up in the unexpected romance of it all.
But as Alastor's gaze lingered on Y/N, who stood among the crowd with a shy smile, a wave of realization washed over him. It wasn't just any love songs he was playing—it was a silent declaration of his growing affection for the inventive soul who had captured his heart.
And as the music filled the room with its sweet melody, Alastor couldn't help but feel a surge of hope coursing through him. Perhaps, in the midst of Hell's chaos, there was still room for love to blossom—a love that transcended time and defied all odds.
With a soft chuckle, Alastor stole a glance at Y/N, his heart swelling with newfound courage. For in that moment, amidst the gentle strains of love songs and the soft glow of morning light, he knew that he was falling—falling head over heels for the one who had fixed not only his broken radio but also the shattered pieces of his soul.

Drag Me to Hell- (Yandere!Alastor x Chubby!Reader) pt 4
Tumblr media
Warnings; Several spoilers for EP 8, violence warning, mention of blood warning, injury, stick with it I promise, kind of cliffhanger, Nifty is a wild little thing,
~~~~~~~~
"Ah, the celebratory night before a courageous last stand. It's been a surprising thrill to witness these wayward souls find connection. Almost makes one sentimental, eh Ladies?"
"I really like them, Alastor. They let me put on roach puppet shows without booing!"
"Ah, an enjoyable collective to be around. I admit, one could get accustomed. What do you think, my precious Doe?"
You stood with Alastor and Nifty, watching the sinners you lived with for months drink and enjoy their evening. Part of you was honestly sad you may not see them ever again after that night. Who knew what heaven had in store for everyone or if anyone would even make it through the onslaught.
"I... hope everyone makes it through this. I don't know how much help I can be to them, but I truly want to help them however I can."
It was then Alastor laughed, almost seeming hysterical in his laughter and that put you on edge. Something about his laugh made you feel like you had said something that set him off and that was a concerning feeling for you.
"My adorably naïve Doe, what in Hell makes you think you're going to be anywhere on that battlefield? No, no. You'll be safe where you belong in your microphone home and far from Heaven's table scraps. Enjoy this night, Dear. This may be the last time you see our wayward pals again."
You were both unsurprised and horrified at Alastor's words. Part of you honestly thought you would be fighting the angels with the others and to hear Alastor so casually state his plans to lock you away upset you. There was no fighting or arguing with Alastor, but you also felt compelled to at least try and convince the cannibal demon to allow you to stand with the souls you befriended.
Before you had the chance to speak, there was a sudden weight added to your head and you saw Nifty putting an oddly woven crown with several dead roaches on Alastor as well.
"I dub thee King and Queen Roach."
"Oh, to understand your twisted little mind."
Both Alastor and Nifty laughed, but you struggled to find the same humor in the moment when the reality of all you could lose loomed over you.
~~~~~~~~
Everything was dark spare for the glowing neon lights outside of the broken radio tower. So vastly different from what it had been seemingly moments before. The arms that wrapped around you and held you snugly only served to ground you from the absolute terror you had been in.
"Please..."
Your voice was a whisper that only seemed to echo among the rubble around you. His arms tightened in response for just a moment, his body tense. The broken microphone you had been contained in was clenched in one of his fists and almost felt cold against your body.
"Quiet, sweet Doe... Do not speak now..."
A part of you was terrified to remind Alastor that your deal had been broken and you didn't need to follow his orders anymore, but an even stronger part of you hesitated to think back on how it all fell apart.
It came from seemingly nowhere. You were safe within the microphone when the blast of heavenly light pierced into you. What neither you nor Alastor realized was that when a deal created item like the microphone breaks, the deal and the soul bound to it break as well. That was really all you remembered before your own mind blocked the rest out to protect you.
You winced at the memory despite your now healed stomach. When you awoke after being swallowed by Alastor's darkness, your body was healed almost completely. The only thing left of the splitting injury was a freshly healed scar around your midsection and an oddly empty feeling within.
Alastor couldn't stop himself from replaying the memory over and over in his mind and he hated what it meant for him and the soul he had found himself so fond of. Mostly he hated how he had reacted to it and the truth he now knew in himself. He couldn't deny now that he needed you and losing you was enough to show him that.
The sound of your choked and gasping cries made agony rip through Alastor's damned and tainted soul far more than he realized it would. Both pieces of the microphone in his hands and your soft body laying beneath Adam's axe as the angel grinned maliciously down at you. Your deal with Alastor to keep you safe and alive had been broken.
"Well, ain't that cute. Looks like I got your little fucking sinner bitch instead of you, she- this is one of heaven's souls. Where the fuck did shit like you get a soul from heaven? Damn it! They'll lose their shit if I kill one of our souls!"
He couldn't deny it, but he would never admit to it. Alastor would never admit to being afraid and desperate to not lose you because his own ego couldn't take it. Though he could no longer delude himself, he could still delude everyone else. Everyone except for you.
"Make another deal with me, my innocent lost Doe of heaven. Keep my eternal secrets for me. Broadcast for me with your pure radio waves and soul. I will keep hell from tainting you, and you keep your heaven touched soul reserved for me. Strengthen my radio station and be my trusted pet once more..."
Alastor hummed against your shoulder in a soft tone, knowing that he needed to get you back on his leash. He wasn't the only one in hell aware of your pure soul anymore. A heaven touched and claimed soul so untainted and pure was a very rare thing. Whatever angelic pride resulted in you being wrongfully cast out allowed Alastor a fantastic trophy of a soul. Despite still being considered the quarry of heaven, you wound up in Hell and you would remain there if he had anything to say about it.
A sinner's soul was one thing. One of heaven's souls was another entirely.
"Refuse... Well, we both know the broadcast can keep your sweet voice and soul protected for another half a decade. At least I don't make you scream for it."
~~~~~~~~
Vox watched the video over and over again of the soft woman Alastor supposedly kept within his microphone. What that stupid first human said peaked his interest in this Hell-bound heavenly soul. If he could get his hands on that soul there were certain to be some grand abilities paired with it, not to mention the value of such a soul in Hell's market.
All Vox had to do was convince Valentino and Velvet to put value in the same soul and it would be akin to a one-way ticket to the strongest overlords Hell has known. Well, that and wresting the pure soul from Alastor's control. It shouldn't be too hard given the fact that their deal was broken, but Alastor was likely to try and make another deal just to keep that sweet soul to himself.
On top of just the heavenly soul, the soul of the little maid Nifty was certainly a hot commodity given just what she did at the end of the extermination battle. With both souls in hand, Vox might not even need the other Vees in time. He could rise above the two Vees he had teamed up with and become more powerful than even Zestial.
No doubt the other Vees won't be too difficult to convince when it comes to the idea of collecting the two high value souls. Once Vox has his hands on those souls and can use them to taunt that old-timey prick, he will finally have everything he wants within his reach.
" To my darling baby; " Vox x reader TWs ;; Yandere themes, Vox in himself is a tw (If you squint enough Al stole Vox's bitch) Requested by ;; @everywherebut
Tumblr media
"Two weeks.", Vox angrily muttered to Valentino, who, clearly wasn't listening as much as the TV-headed demon assumed he was.. or at all. But, in Vox's mind he had every right to be upset at the moment! Not only had you broken his electrical heart - he hadn't seen/heard from or of you in TWO WHOLE WEEKS! It felt like Vox's world had come crashing down!! And he only got even angrier when Val finally spoke up, in a bored, uninterested tone, "Uh.. Voxxy- isn't {Y/N} at that hotel? Y'know.. the one with the Radio demon? Thought I saw her outside it one time on one of your cameras."
This didn't sit right with Vox. His precious {Y/N}, at that shitty hotel? With radio fossil trash? This could not be happening. With quick movements, Vox ran out of the room, straight into the elevator, hands frantically pressing the 'down' button.
You, on the other hand, had been having a great time. Charlie was welcoming, when she had seen you at the doorstep, in your nightly attire, tears filling up your eyes, she had immediately taken pity upon you, ushering you inside. After two long years with Vox, you had grown to hate him. He was arrogant, loud, rude, and never spared you a glance anymore.
Running away was hard enough, as you knew very well he could spy on people through the TV screens he had displayed, the electronics from his brand, and cameras. But the Hazbin hotel was the one place you felt to be safest. Yeah, the Radio demon was there, one of the most dangerous overlords, though his reputation smudged into old tales after his absence, and yes, the princess of Hell, Charlie, ran it, but she seemed like nothing more than a harmless puppy. Alastor, on the other hand, was in fact scary as fuck,
But, he never made an attempt to frighten you, to harm you. Nor did he ever demand information on his 'rival', despite having heard about your past affiliations with the demon. He was a sort of gentleman, to most at least.
Maybe if you were someone else, you'd be eternally paranoid, for good reason, of course. You had broken up with a powerful overlord, who had many souls, and a lot of power at his fingertips. If he wanted to; he could find you. Yet, he hadn't. You were safe at this dingy hotel. Somehow you had managed to be safe.
Or, that's what you had thought up until now. To be completely honest, you had forgotten all about your ex. Until he showed up at the hotel's door.
You could hear him shouting from outside, unluckily for you, it was only you and Nifty at the hotel. "{Y/N}! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE! BABY- PLEASE, I'M SORRY!" he screamed, voice sounding strained, which made sense when you realized he had been shouting for about two hours now. Not wanting to talk to him directly, you made your way upstairs, to the balcony, and leaned over the edge, annoyance evident on your face.
His electrical face lit up, digital eyes widening with awe. Perhaps for you, this was an irritating encounter, as you had been hoping to simply relax all day, still dressed in last nights clothing from when you had gone to bed. For Vox?
It was like he was Romeo, and you his Juliet. An angel sent from above to grace this poor, poor sinner. "Oh- baby! There you are!" he exclaimed, relief evident in his strained voice, "C'mon, get down from there, and we can-"
He paused as you raised your hand, "I'm not going home with you, Vox." you sternly stated to the annoyance below you, who in tern, stared at you in shock. Before guffawing, shaking his rectangular head, "You've always been so good at jokes!" he praised earnestly, clapping his hands, "But, now it's time to go home!"
For a moment, you scowled at him, before turning on your heels and walking back inside, ignoring the loud protests from Vox, begging you come out, begging you to come back to him.
Write of a raccoon like a actual raccoon ending up in hell and terrorizing every citizen in hell, and finding some roadroller and it becomes even worse demons homes aren’t only being trashed and torn into pieces and some how Hazbin Hotel is still standing ( it’s because of Nifty scaring them off some how ) The hotel business starts off booming. Sinners rejoice your redemption is far from the ever so crazy Raccoon! Wait till the Duck comes in… >:)
Gender : Raccoon
Pronouns : They/them
Message from Raccoon : That give me idea for a Raccoon!Reader meeting IMP..
Tumblr media
General Headcanon
You were a good thief, really good.
But one day, you were betrayed.
You were robbing the world's largest bank, but your partner in crime, Timothy, betrayed you by shooting you.
You didn't really understand why, you never had an explanation, but you suspect that he was working with the Police in secret.
Anyway, you're dead.
Welcome to Hell ! And you're… a raccoon ?
No, like, a real raccoon. The little thing that digs through trash cans.
Holy shit.
Vox was broadcasting his usual show, when he had to interrupt it because there was a turf war led by a raccoon ?
He never thought he would see a real raccoon in Hell, and he never thought he would have to broadcast about them because the raccoon was fighting to be the Overlord of one of the territories.
He could see in the background Angel Dust walking away from the raccoon after seeing them lunge at the face of a snake demon.
Vox quietly wondered if this was all a dream or if he should really be going to Overlord meetings with a raccoon.
Spoiler : he had to.
You injected fear into all the beings of Hell after that, causing chaos.
No one said anything about it, they watched you steal their stuff and their trash but they said nothing.
When Alastor returned, he was NOT expecting to see a raccoon in the Overlords meeting room. Even less so for Carmilla to introduce the said raccoon as the new Overlord.
He made a 404 error.
Alastor saw how everyone else was suspicious or afraid of you, he was wondering who the hell this raccoon is.
You found Alastor interesting.
In the sense that you loved all the chaos he created, so you joined him.
He brought you to the Hotel, wondering what entertainment you would do.
He don't regret it.
You were doing a lot of damage, yes, but it was fun.
One day you drank alcohol at Husk's bar (you stole the bottle when he wasn't watching), and you ended up getting drunk.
Have you ever seen a demon raccoon drunk ? Because the Hazbin Crew did it.
You have fought everyone and destroyed everything you saw.
You were throwing yourself at people's faces like a fucking cat throwing itself at curtains.
It took Vaggie and Charlie spiking you with 16 tranquilizers before you calmed down.
Result of the damage of the hotel : a kitchen destroyed, a living room destroyed, the hall the hotel destroyed, some walls destroyed, the face of Angel Dust and Husk being injured by your claws, Alastor's trench coat in ruins.
And that was just the damage caused to the Hotel, let's not even talk about the rest of Hell..
Lucifer met you when you were in Wrath…
How the hell a sinner found a way to go in the circles other than pride is a mystery without answers.
He asked you, but you just looked at him with completely blank and terrifying eyes. You spoke, but he didn't understand what you were saying, didn't understand the raccoon.
He doesn't even know if you answer or if you were making fun of him.
You have become attached to Lucifer. More precisely his ducks.
Lucifer made a raccoon duck and gave it to you, it's your most precious object since.
Someone must be watching you 24/7 to ensure Hell's survival.
Did I mention the edits about you and the fact that you are a meme in the 7 circles of Hell ?
You hated bald people because Timothy was bald. That's why you attacked Valentino as soon as you saw him.
You 🤝 Niffty = being Valentino's worst nightmares.
Hell wasn't ready for your alliance with Niffty.
Neither was heaven.
Niffty stabbed Adam, you finished him.
Stupidly in Love
A flourish of ribbons fly in the air as a certain jester lays out a nifty little fabric square upon fresh grass, a clearing within a great field, the forest behind, sun in the sky, birds singing their little theatre songs.
Fool gave a synthetic breath in, before turning to his companion.
Misuta glared up at the bright skies above, before he himself turned to Fool, a slight look of confusion coming to his face.
"When you asked if we could go out together, I wasn't expecting... this."
Fool gave the man a cheshire smile.
"Why not? A beautiful day to spend with someone I hold so nice and dear to the heart?"
Misuta sat down in a huff, but Fool had noticed those flushed cheeks immediately.
"... It... is nice today, you're right."
"As I am so often~"
Fool deftly landed on his behind beside Misuta, twirling his baton in his limber hands before settling it down upon the blanket beneath.
Today, there'll be no sun nor moon, just him and the heart stealer beside him.
Oh yes...
"What's in the basket? We can't eat..."
Misuta asks a very promising question, responded to with a curved eye smile.
"Oh, my sweet man~ I'm very glad you asked!"
Fool reaches out, lugging the basket closer before popping the lid up, exposing its treasures like a trove untold.
"Books-?"
"I know how much you love reading, so, I may have sneaked a few books from our little Sweetling~"
A leer was sent the fool's way.
"You stole from them."
'Not unlike how you stole my heart', Fool was so close to saying the words on his very lips, yet he refrained, it was too soon.
"No, no, this fool would never go so low. My... what do you take me for?"
Fool had leant back, a hand to his chest in mock offense, yet he peeked open an eye to view Misuta as silence ringed between them.
Crossed arms met him, a single raised eyebrow with the most unamused expression greeted him in return.
"A thief."
"You hurt me."
"Good."
To anyone else, it'd be rude, but the two shared a coupling laughter.
Misuta would reach into the basket, pulling out the top book.
'The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe'
Misuta hummed in thought, sitting back on a palm as he flipped open the hardcover entertainment, eyes already starting to flitter over the words and read.
Fool picked up his own book, yet he knew he wouldn't be reading, for his attention was taken by another, just as intriguing, thing.
Minutes passed, a comfortable silence settling between the two, one reading, the other attempting.
Fool took in no information, his gaze glancing up to the source of his warmth and love that had spiraled way out of his control.
He wanted to reach out, hold Misuta close to him and never let go, yet there was something holding him back, he wasn't sure...
"Fool...?"
Misuta was looking up at him, why was he so close suddenly? Fool shifted an arm, realizing exactly what was going on.
In his little daydream, he had indeed gotten closer to Misuta, their bodies touching, and Fool's arm had wrapped around Misuta's back, fingers a breath away from his waist.
Fool brought his mismatch up, meeting Misuta's own fuchsia.
"I-I..."
For once, Fool was speechless, his smile drooping at the corners as a flood of nerves was thrust upon him, he's sure he'd be sweating if he could.
He was frozen in place, staring, fake heart pounding with real love, one he felt when around the man in his arms, and the precious Sweetling.
Time stilled as the two stayed in their places, like deer under a scope, they were too nervous to move.
Until Misuta's eyes flicked down.
Fool took that as a sign.
He leant in, lips pressing to Misuta's so softly, he'd have melted, and felt like he would when the pressure was returned soon enough.
Fool's book fell to his lap as he brought a hand up to caress Misuta's face, a small order to stay where he was, yet neither of them wanted to pull away, not even for a second.
They caressed each other, eyes closed as they laid in their shared embrace, an arm tightening around a waist, pulled closer.
Until, they parted, while they had no breath to lose, they still wanted to see one another.
Eyes opened, and their love filled eyes met once more, a deeper understanding now felt within the two.
"Cariad… I… Rwy'n dy garu di…"
Misuta blinked at the foreign words before a soft laugh escaped his lips, and he presses another kiss to Fool's own.
"私も愛しているよ."
A mutual agreement of love, Fool almost couldn't believe it.
He wrapped his other arm around Misuta, hoisting the man upon his awaiting lap, making sure Misuta couldn't escape his grasp now that he was finally his.
"Oh… thank the very Heavens…"
Fool whispered into Misuta's neck, a sigh escaping the man as arms wrapped around his neck.
"Fool…"
"Mm… already with the pet names?"
Misuta rolled his eyes, though his amusement was as clear as the very sky they were under.
"Idiot."
"So mean to me…~ How could you be so rude to your boyfriend~"
They both stilled at that, realization dawning on each of their faces. Boyfriend.
They… are together.
They're in love.
A fluffy hood buried itself into Fool's chest, a heat being felt through Fool's flowy shirt.
"バカ…バカ…バカ…バカ…"
Fool laughed his sweet bird song laugh, his arms bringing Misuta closer to him even still, offering comfort to the flustered man.
"Mm… your stupid."
Stupidly in love.
HIIIII! IM SO GLAD YOUR BACK, I HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR BREAK :)))
Could I please request tanjiro, iguro and kyojuro with like a younger sister or child reader (platonic obviously) who is like nifty from hazbin hotel, so she really likes cleaning but tends to overwork herself?
Thank you so much if you do :)
Oooh! This is interesting but most importantly; you like and/or know Hazbin Hotel?! I am sorry for asking like this but if you do PLEASEEE do suggest a Hazbin Hotel request or a request for Helluva Boss! I don’t mind either! You don’t have to at all, it’s just a wish but I would reaaallly appreciate writing for the shows I am currently in
Kamado Tanjiro
Tumblr media
Tanjiro likes how cute you are. Little, hyperactive, helpful. You’re always running around with a broom or a water bucket to clean something. He doesn’t even need to ask you, you’re just being his little personal maid
Despite the fact, as your older brother, he should be taking care of and cleaning for you. No, you’re the one taking charge and making sure Nezuko’s box is shined to perfection, sweeping up the floors around his bed in the Butterfly Mansion and obsessing over seeing such mess
Tanjiro does worry about you a lot. Whilst the clean freak, caring and energetic demeanour you display is good. There is many negatives of your habits that has his heart aching with concern and his hands on the verge of ripping out his own hair. You’re reckless in your work
Overworking. Cleaning the Butterfly Mansion obsessively and for hours until Shinobu has to bring your exhausted but stubborn form to him so he can care for you, since you’ve been working yourself into the earth. Tanjiro appreciates all the unconditional maid care you’re doing for him, your own sister Nezuko and any home the Kamados refuge in but he can’t stand you risking your health
Overall. Tanjiro does really love you, he loves the cute little red and white maid kimono you wear and he loves how passionate and zesty you are, cleaning, cooking or sewing but he wishes you’d calm it down… not just for him but for yourself. At least; you, him and Nezuko can cook your mother’s recipes to relax
Iguro Obanai
Tumblr media
Obanai finds this… well. He doesn’t know how to feel about your obsessive cleaning love. The fact, you act like some housewife despite being once over his age. You’re a child, you’re the poor innocent little girl he had picked up as his own child, out of pure pity for your position(since it was just like his) and whilst you’re not his biologically, he’s protective
So, he is a lot less tolerant over how hardworking and reckless over your own health you are. That you spend hours on end cleaning and perfecting everything around you. He doesn’t like it at all and he doesn’t mind being either strict or harsh to get his point across. You’re his kid, he can discipline you when he wants
Of course, Obanai isn’t cruel. He is only trying to fix up, what he believes to be, your OCD to save your health so he forces you to stop mopping his floors around 8pm and puts you to bed with no buts allowed. He’ll let you be his little maid and care for the home you share with him but not when it includes putting yourself behind the work
Obanai does like to bond with you over sewing and cooking. Your skillset is of a housewife and whilst he finds it weird that his adoptive kid has housewife mindset, he isn’t going to just stop because he is uncomfortable by mere talents you have. Cooking and sewing are important to your life growing up so he encourages it
Besides the whole overworking thing and how invested in cleaning the Estate you become, he does really like your behaviours. You’re the perfect child; free-spirited, independent, confident. He likes how your trauma hasn’t effected you and he wouldn’t get rid of you, even if your own habits are annoying and concerning
Rengoku Kyojuro
Tumblr media
Oh. How wonderful, now, he has two child houserearers in his life. One, his younger brother Senjuro and now you, his precious adoptive daughter. He finds you the most gorgeous little lively flame to ever exist and he does truly encourage your cleaning habits. It’s good to develop excellent hygiene, as Kyojuro says! However, even Kyojuro has limits to good hygiene practice
At first, he doesn’t really notice it much since he wants to be the most uplifting, sweet, considerate father he possibly can be for you. He doesn’t want to tell you what to do, even when it severely worries him. He doesn’t know how to talk about it but he does have the guts to bring it up and try make some type of compromise
Kyojuro really doesn’t like seeing you up at 1am scrubbing the windows frantically since you spotted some smudges you’re struggling to get out. It’s not healthy and it’s too risky. He loves you a lot and he doesn’t want you to be treated as some slave. You’re not a slave, you’re his babygirl. Even if he just got you, you’re still his and he wants to care for you, not enable a bad habit. Rather it offend you or not. He needs to put his foot down
Kyojuro decides to begin balancing checking up on you to his regular vigorous training. Task you with cleaning like sweeping or scrubbing the outside porch so he can always keep his eye on you and make sure you’re not going to pass out from exhaustion with a bottle of bleach in your hands once more. You’re a child, not a robot
Kyojuro is only being specific and setting down rules for your own sake, not for his. To him, the most important thing to him is his all-knowing, big-eyed little demon. You may stress him out with your cleaning obsession but otherwise, he enjoys cooking with you. It’s very relaxing
it all fell down
part two: icarus rises
ratings: M (talk of war, rebellion, death and destruction, bleeding, wounds, lots of curse words, etc etc.)
summary: after adam died in the first extermination, lute calls for more frequent exterminations, rallying heaven’s population into believing that hell is a threatening force. once she succeeds, the legion of angels can come down to hell every 6 months, the only difference, charlie and lucifer aren’t safe any more. with their backs against the wall, rebellion is the only option but what happens when heaven pulls their final ace in their sleeve?
part one
Tumblr media
previously: i try and smile at him but he smiles back at me, so genuine as if to say don’t worry. his eyes close and charlie screams out. my head falls to his as i press a kiss to his forehead. “goodbye, my love.”
moments later we hear the pants and running of a group of people and i quickly lay lucifer down and get in front of his body and charlie, ready to protect them. when suddenly angel appears, looking at the wreckage and then his eyes widening.
“no.” he says, as husk is just silent. cherri gasps and holds onto angel as nifty runs up to charlie, holding her arm. angel’s eyes widen as he looks at lucifer closer.
“he’s not dead! he’s still breathing!” angel exclaims, running up and looking at lucifer. i move over to his body and look at angel shaking my head. “give him this!” angel says thrusting the bottle i had given him earlier into my hand.
“angel, he’s not…” husk starts and is promptly cut off.
“no! he is. check!” angel exclaims pointing at lucifer. i sigh and as i bend down, i’m not sure why i check. i had been so sure a few moments ago that my precious morningstar was dead, gone to the world. maybe it was hope, a fools hope that i still held onto from my time in heaven. maybe it was for charlie, who i wasn’t sure if she could go on after loosing both her parents. one of whom she technically killed. or maybe this was for me, because i didn’t know who i would be or what i would be with him gone.
i reached down and felt his wrist, my eyes widening as i felt a very faint thrumming. i moved my head to his mouth and nose, placing my ear close and i could hear breathing, so faint but there. my eyes widened as i propped him up.
“charlie, help me open his mouth, hurry.” i asked. she froze looking at me like i was deranged. husk stepped in quickly and opened his mouth, i poured the rest of the golden liquid into his mouth, threw the bottle off when the last drop went it and helped lean his head back so that he could swallow it. i watched him with baited breath looking everywhere for any sign it worked.
it took a few moments but i first saw his cheeks have some color return to them. his pallor generally getting better and i quickly lifted up his shirt, watching the wound start to stitch itself together. i started crying again.
“thank you, angel. oh my god. it worked.” i looked at charlie. “it worked.” she looked at me, disbelief in her eyes.
“he’s going to be okay?” she asked.
“i think so. i think so, charlie.” i cried and she hugged me tight. “but we need to get out of here. do you think rosie would mind us staying in cannibal town?” i asked.
“i-i don’t think so.” she said, shaking her head and clutching vaggie.
“then let’s get over there. husk, grab alastor, he’s over there. do not let him out of the ropes either.” my tone a bit commanding as i picked up lucifer and started to make our way to cannibal town.
____________
once there, we got lucifer set up on a bed. that was the first thing i asked as rosie took in our battered group. alastor out cold and tied up and the king of hell in my arms, was a sight on her doorstep. from there, i told them alastor needed to be set in a chair and for vaggie to watch him. not to do anything, but to watch him. she nodded as charlie sat with her dad and husk, angel, nifty and cherri went off to get new clothes for all of us.
after setting lucifer up, and making sure charlie was okay, i walked back down stairs and saw that alastor was awake and quiet. which a part of me was grateful for. i ignored him for the time being and went over to rosie.
“i’ve never seen ‘im this quiet.” rosie quipped looking at him. she pointed to some tea on the table and i quickly drank it, suddenly more thirsty than i thought.
“thank you for helping us.” i murmur to rosie. “im not sure what deal he had or what he did, but lilith owned his soul, with her gone, he’s in full ownership but i don’t know if that’s necessarily a good thing.” rosie nodded and looked at me as i started to open my mouth to apologize, knowing this was her friend.
“don’t you dare start apologizing. you just helped save us all. and whatever alastor did over there, he can handle himself. of course i worry about him, i care about him, but again, he can handle himself.” she said as she gave me a push over to vaggie and alastor. as i walked over both their eyes met mine. i kneeled in front of alastor, looking him in his eyes.
“will you answer my questions?” i ask and watch as he nods.
“honestly?” i ask again.
“i can make a deal that i will if that’s what you want.” alastor speaks for the first time, his voice a little hoarse and the radio effect no where to be found.
“okay. i set the terms though.” i say, “you tell me the full, complete truth, not withholding any information, to me and whoever can hear you in this room. in return i owe you nothing.” i say my hand held out, i look to rosie to see if she approves and she nods. he sighs and shakes my hand, green glowing around us and then fading.
“lilith owned your soul?” i ask, starting basic to ensure the deal was at play.
“yes, she owned my soul.” he responded easily.
“why did you make a deal with her?” my inquiry falls after i sit myself on the floor in front of him.
“i wanted power. she wanted a scapegoat at the hotel.” he sneered.
“scapegoat, what do you mean?” i ask.
“she had plans to take lucifer out seven years ago. originally her plan was to take him out, become the ruler of hell, take the rest of hell out in its entirety, all so she could live her life of paradise in heaven.” vaggie gasped hearing alastor.
“she was going to kill charlie?” she asked, her face contorted in to disgust and shock. alastor didn’t answer her.
“was she going to kill charlie, alastor?” i ask him and he nods.
“he can only answer my questions right now i think. but i’ll repeat yours.” i say looking at vaggie who nods. rosie looks more distraught than she did before. “why did you enter into this contract?”
“for power. i wanted unimaginable power. i wanted to rule hell, and then take down heaven. i thought that there might’ve been a way to twist the contract i made with her in my favor but it was sealed. the terms too absolute.” he added on, as i nodded.
“why did you come to the hotel? you also said she needed a scapegoat. why?” my head tilting to the side, trying to understand.
“she wanted me to keep an eye on charlie, know the progress of the hotel. she was livid when lucifer came out of hiding and actually started helping charlie with her cause.” he shook his head as if remembering a bad memory. “she needed a scapegoat as she was going to destroy the hotel and lucifer and charlie. she couldn’t come down to rule if all of hell knew she had killed their leaders, especially because of the sins and their relationships with lucifer. so, i was to be the scapegoat to have, supposedly, torn down the hotel, killed them both and then she would kill me.” rosie gasped as her teacup shattered hitting the ground.
“alastor… what?” she cried, her face horrified.
“which in her doing all that, then there would be extra motivation to get rid of hell because it would become ‘look what this wayward sinner did, they’re a threat to us all.’ and she’d look like the savior. but all of hell would trust her as she saved them.” i finished. “is that right?”
“you’re very smart, yes.” alastor nodded and i sighed.
“did you want to do anything she asked of you?” i asked, trying to understand what to do with the demon in front of me. his eyes widened and he looked confused.
“what do you mean?” he shot back.
“just that, did you want to do anything she asked of you or were you forced. remember, you have to tell the truth. fully and completely.” i reminded him.
“i-“ he stopped him self, almost like he was trying to hold it in, not wanting to say the truth. “no. i didn’t. at first i did.” the man in front of me just looked tired at this point. “i wanted the power she promised, but i soon learned her actual plans and of course i didn’t want to go along with that. i don’t want to die. but then i realized that i had grown to… care for the patrons of the hotel. but there was nothing i could do, and i wasn’t able to speak about it either.” alastor looked sick at his own confession.
“okay. okay. i won’t have you confess to any more feelings big guy.” i rolled my eyes, relaxing at his explanation. inherent evil, i wasn’t too sure how to deal with, but someone who had found the power of friendship, we could deal with that. i stood up and offered my hand to him again, he went to take it and i withdrew, stopping him. i brought my hand back out and explained.
“i’m making a deal with you. this is a deal for your soul. consider it probation. i’m not restricting your powers, but you may not act, create a deal or any other thing that would harm, hurt, cause danger or possibly kill any of the patrons of the hotel, the staff, charlie, vaggie, lucifer, myself or rosie. you need to stop with the power grabbing shit and be content with trying to be the top dog of the sinners in the pride ring okay? i can restrict, revoke or give you more power at any time i see fit. in addition, i can change the terms of this contract as i see fit at anytime, with or without your approval. you are to continue your work at the hotel, and none of your riff raff little friends like mimzy are allowed unless they are seeking redemption. do we have a deal alastor?” i reach my hand toward him. he growls.
“i’ll be on another leash?” he asks.
“for a while. be a good dog and i might let you off sometime.” i smile and he rolls his eyes, shaking my hand. “good boy.” i say, grinning at him as i wave my hand and the angelic rope falls off him.
“now i am sure you either want food and some drink or to go to the tailor, you’re free to do as you please, but i would go give rosie a hug because she went through the five stages of grief listening to you tell all of that.” alastor turned to rosie, seeing her look absolutely livid, with tears streaming down her face.
“you’re an idiot.” she says, hitting his arm as he walks up to her.
“so i’ve been told.” he easily responds, going stiff as she hugs him. i make my way upstairs and see charlie reading to her dad as vaggie and i enter.
“alastor’s all right. he’s taken care of. we can talk later but how about you both go get something to eat and find husk and angel. nifty and cherri are with them. i’ll stay here.” i smile as charlie gets up.
“are you sure.” she asks, looking like she wants a change of clothes, food and a good bath.
“positive. bring me back something that’s not pinky fingers” i joke with her. she smiles and starts to leave but turns back at the last minute and runs up to hug me. i hug her back as she looks at me.
“thank you. for saving us. for saving him.” she says.
“it was really angel on your dad there, but anytime love. now go. we’re fine here.” i smile as her and vaggie rush off. i collapse on the edge of the bed, grabbing lucifer’s hand as the weight of everything finally hits me. i turn my body and rest my head against his chest, feeling the hot tears in my eyes and the lump in my throat as i clutch him to me. the sobs wrecking my body as i look at him, like he was peacefully sleeping. all i could think was that i almost lost him. i almost lost him. i almost lost him. he nearly died. he died. he was gone… my mind started spiraling as the panic and emotions i had to push aside all welled up. until i felt a hand on my head. my thoughts stopped with a screeching halt. i slowly looked up and saw the black claws i knew so well, resting on the side of my face now. i followed the arm up to his face, his eyes were just barely open and he had a gentle smile on his lips. i cried looking at him, holding his hand in mine and nuzzling my face into his touch.
“you’re awake.” i croak and he nods. his other hand pats his throat and my eyes widen as i realize he needs water. i look at the end table and see water there with a straw, i help him drink some, very slowly easing into it. “don’t gulp it, i know you want to though.” he clutched my hands as i held the cup. he finally sat back  and sighed.
“how do you feel?” i asked, my hand resting on his thigh and my other hand in his.
“like i got impaled by my ex-wife.” he said, deadpanning looking at me. i smile and shake my head. “just tired honestly. i think my body has healed most of my injuries.”
my head nods and as i reach up to his face, caressing his cheek and rubbing gently across his cheek bone.  he rests his head in my hand.
“what about you? are you okay?” he asks, seeing i still had on what i wore in the battle.
“i think i’m fine. i haven’t gotten changed or checked any injuries. had some other stuff to take care of. but there’s nothing you need to worry about. everything is all right.” i explain, knowing he was about to ask.
“where’s charlie?” he looked around the room.
“she and vaggie met up with husk, angel, cherri and nifty. they’re finding clothes and food, since we’re in cannibal town.” he nods and looks around.
“what about alastor?” a dark shadow crosses his face.
“he’s taken care of. he’s alive and he doesn’t want to hurt the hotel or us.” i explain not wanting to get too far into it as he just woke up.
“where’s lilith?” lucifer asks, looking at me, his eyes swimming with emotion.
“i-she’s… gone.” i try to say.
“what does that mean?” his eyes narrowing at me.
“she’s dead, lucifer.” i tell him as his eyes widen.
“who… did you?” he asks and i shake my head.
“charlie…” i didn’t finish the sentence as lucifer looked at me in shock.
“no. not charlie.” he cried, tears rolling down his face.
“i was close to you and the minute everything happened she went off in a fit of rage. she’s pretty distraught over it. thinks you’ll be upset. i told her you wouldn’t be angry at her, but i don’t think she believes me.” i explain more as lucifer cries harder.
“i never wanted this for her. she’s-she’s my duckling. i was supposed to protect her.” he cries, his head hiding in my shoulder.
“you did though. you fought for her and her dream. you did that.” i clutch him to me. “you’ve done well sunshine.” he cries harder hearing me call him sunshine and i just hold him.
—————————-
hours later feet bound up the stairs, the loud noises were prefaced by a gasp and the sound of glass breaking. lucifer and i, sitting next to each other on the bed, as i was reading the book that charlie was before she left, look up and see charlie in the door way. her clothes changed and hair freshly washed. tears streaming down her face as she launched her self at lucifer.
“dad!” she cried. i slide off the bed as charlie wrapped herself around lucifer. my smile is soft.
“oh charlie.” he cried, waterworks opening again.
“i’m so so sorry dad. i-i-i” charlie started to hyperventilate and lucifer brushed her hair away from her face.
“you have nothing to be sorry about. nothing.” he told her fiercely. “i am so proud of you. it’s all right.” he said as she cried harder and nestled on his chest. i looked at vaggie and then at lucifer, motioning between vaggie and yourself and then to the door, communicating you both would be leaving. he nods and mouths ‘thank you’ as i nod and vaggie and i leave, shutting the door to give them privacy. we get downstairs and the rest of the crew comes up to us.
“i gotchu a change of clothes.” angel says.
“some good food.” husk adds.
“all the things you need to smell good!” nifty exclaims.
“and i was told to give this to you as you like this shit?” cherri asks, handing me some apple wine. i laugh for the first time today.
“thank you so much. all of you. the apple wine is more of a lucifer thing, so i will hide this until he’s given the all clear to drink other fluids.” they all go back to eating, vaggie joining them and actually laughing and joking along with them, in her own way. i walk over to rosie and alastor.
“i just wanted to check that you both were okay.” i say walking up to them.
“right as rain, darling!” alastor says, the radio effect back and a new suit on his frame.
“we’re fine, darling. you go wash up now.” rosie says and i nod, walking off to the bathroom and getting rid of the war torn clothes adorning my body, washing off all the grim on my body and bandaging myself up quickly before padding back out. i see charlie coming down, a smile on her face as she walks up to me and hugs me tightly.
“thank you.” she whispers.
“of course.” i reply easily.
“dad wants to see you, says you should be done washing up by now.” she laughs.
“he somehow always knows.” i shake my head. “he’s like santa clause.” i joke, charlie’s face looking confused. “we can talk about santa later. your friends want you.” i say as the whole crew is looking expectantly at charlie, not wanting to explain santa right now. she nods and dashes off to them, a smile on her face as she hugs vaggie and starts talking to them. i sigh and walk back up stairs and see lucifer waiting.
“did i keep you too long?” i ask sliding into the bed next to him.
“i’d wait an eternity for you and it still wouldn’t be too long, as long as i was promised to hold you again.” lucifer smirks, as i feel my face burn with blush. i shake my head and laugh. “you bandaged yourself up?” he asks.
“the others tended to themselves and they didn’t need another person to tend to. i’m fine.” i respond. he sighs.
“next time, i’ll be bandaging you up. can’t have you doing that yourself.” he says, shaking his head. i laugh.
“i can’t believe we made it. we made it out the other side luce.” i say, holding his hand in mine.
“marry me.” he says, his eyes meeting mine. my eyes widen at his request.
“what?” i ask, my breath gone.
“marry me.” lucifer pleads, his hand coming up to caress my cheek. “almost loosing you and charlie has made me rethink a lot. i don’t want to waste anymore time. marry me, please?” he asks again.
“yes. of course i will!” i cry as i lean in to kiss him. he holds my body to him as i pull away for air.
“mrs. morningstar has a beautiful ring doesn’t it?” lucifer asks.
“it does, but that doesn’t matter as long as i’m with you.” my head falling to his chest as he chuckled. feeling the vibrations of his laugh and the warmth of his arms, i allowed myself to finally relax. everything had turned out all right and everything would be all right.
(I Followed through with my impulse. Lynette deserves as much love as her brother
Tumblr media
“Like…this? I’m not really sure this looks right.” You muttered. In your hands was a twisted thin wire connected with paper and fabric. It spread out at the top like some torn dress.
The girl across from you hummed as she glanced at your creation.
“ Try untying it and redoing the pattern, remember to keep towards the right.” She spoke smoothly, her dark viola eyes returning to her teacup in hand.
Twirling the creation in your finger’s you noticed the little tied knot in the middle. You internally groaned. That would be a pain to undo. Bringing it closer to your eye, you attempted to scratch it loose. You heard the sound of clinking porcelain.
You grumbled. “This would be alot easier if you helped me now.”
The woman blew onto the steaming cup, she smiled cooly. “ I am helping, I’m keeping your tea at a good temperature. You're welcome.”
You deadpanned. Was she actually serious?
“ Oh really? That’s very productive.” You said sarcastically, the fabric knot not coming any loose by your attempts.
“Very, actually.” She said without batting an eye towards you. There was a slight hint of superiority in her words as the ghost of a smirk was present on her lips.
You sighed. There really was no point in arguing with her. “ Fine. Whatever you say.”
“You better not drink my cup while I’m not looking.” You quickly added.
Lynette looked up from her cup. “ Of course. Besides, there are more than enough sweets here to have.”
You both sat at a table in the shade. On the table was a tea set; two cups, two plates, a sugar stray with cubes and a teapot. Along with it were two tin trays of pastries and sweets. In the center was a vase with a bouquet of flowers.
Faux flowers.
Yes, they weren’t organic flowers that grew from the ground up. Instead, they were made by hand, out of thin malleable wire, paper, and fabrics.
How did you come to help her?
A few days ago,
you were impatiently waiting on the Aquabus. It had been delayed for Archons knows whatever reason. You had a heavy bag to carry with you, setting it down on a bench as you looked down the river to see if you would see the bus in sight.
You were a researcher of sorts. An aspiring engineer working on a big project that needed raw materials in order to create the substances and items you’d need. A handful of items needed to be found underwater. Between the necessary diving preparations and the luck that the items you desire will even be on the seafloor, it would take a very very long time.
The sooner you got there, the better.
“Attention! Attention! We thank you for your patience, but we are here to inform you that the Elynas Line will be delayed due to unseen circumstances.”
“WHY?!”
“We are currently working to resolve the issue as fast as possible. Again, we thank you for your patience.”
You grumble loudly. The people around you turned their heads to look at you with both shock and slight distaste.
“ Oh, I um.” You suddenly became very regretful of yelling out in your frustration.
“ Sorry about that. River rage got the best of me, happens sometimes no?”
The people looking at you turned back to their own devices. Sighing, you went ahead and grabbed your big heavy suitcase. Inside it had your gear, nets, and a nifty invention you had made.
It was designed to detect any Geo elemental structures; which mainly included precious stones and minerals. It would make a clicking noise when it came in contact with something. It was a heavy piece of equipment due to its weight and complex build.
“No use going out now. Maybe I’ll just try again early tomorrow morning.” You said, initial frustration gone but replaced with dissatisfaction.
As you were heading out of the station you heard some laughter. Curious as for what reason, you turned around and noticed two women giggling to themselves. When they noticed you they had quieted down and sent you a very obvious judgmental glare.
You looked around and behind you, and there was no one around other than yourself.
‘Ah, so that's how it is.’
You didn’t dress well today, so to say. You didn’t think there was a good reason to do so. You were going out to get work done, so you didn’t need the uncomfortable cinching of a corset or layers of skirt that would very likely tear while you were out.
You wore a simple and loose white blouse that was left slightly unbuttoned at the top, some comfortable gray pants, and your best hiking boots. Your hair was styled in a fast and secure way so it wouldn’t be a bother. It was comfortable and practical.
Every young lady when going out to town would look their best, smell their best and act their best. But today you just wanted to get work done no matter what you took on with you. As rotten luck would have it, you didn’t have the chance to go to work. So the judging look of some people would be the awaited circumstance in this situation.
No matter.
Before you went on back to minding your business, you returned the nasty glare to the pair. Not bothering to look back for their reactions, you hoisted your heavy bag up and walked ahead.
“It’s just one misfortune after another. I didn’t bring my mobile suitcase, the Aquabus gets delayed, and now this? By the Seven, I should’ve just become a blacksmith like Doris.” You rambled. Sometimes doing field work was just tiresome, sucking the determination and the initial adrenaline on a new project.
It was moments like these that had you questioning your entire career choices.
Just as you were going to leave the station, you noticed something.
“Hmm?” You squint your eyes to see clearly.
Or rather someone? She looked to be standing solitarily down by the sand. She was standing there, unmoving. She was facing the open waters. You tried to get a better look at what she was doing.
You noticed that she had long silver gray hair that was tied into a low tail. She also looked to have some giant turquoise ribbon tied into a bow below her head. Speaking of which you noticed something curious. Atop her head were two small pointed tuffs, and…
Was that a tail?
You were slightly confused until you remembered something. You read about genetic correlation and the biology of the living. In the world, there were plenty of other species besides humans such as yokai in Inazuma, and humans born with a history of feline or canine characteristics.
It surprised you initially, because you had only read about such topics and have never really seen a person with said traits. Shaking off your initial shock, you also noticed that she didn’t breathe much. Her shoulders stood as deathly still as her stance.
She stood completely still.
You were almost inclined to believe that she might just be some super advanced and detailed garde to blend in with humans.
You began to feel slightly worried.
Was that person okay? Did she get lost?
Did she lose something in the water?
You looked down at your case. You had your gear with you. You were going to head home and make do with what you had. Which wasn’t much since the bus never arrived. You had time to kill.
You carefully walked over to the person. Maybe if you were lucky, she’d say “Oh woe is me, I’ve dropped something and it sunk to the bottom. Who can go down and get it?”
A little far fetched but something like that.
In reality, you just really wanted a valid excuse to still go diving to find something useful.
Not wanting to spook her, you made yourself known first. “ Hey there, are you okay? You seem a little zoned so I just wanted to check if everything was alright.”
No response. She didn’t even turn her head to acknowledge you.
Stepping closer you stood next to her. Keeping a polite distance of course.
You took a sneaky glance at her face. She had short cut bangs sweeping over to her left, and the hair to her right was braided. She had pale porcelain like skin and had these very striking dark viola eyes. There was also a little star mark below her left eye.
Her expression was lax.
You were re-considering if this person actually was an android of sorts. But you persisted.
“ Did you lose something in the water? I have my gear with me if you want me to go under and search.”
Still no response.
Oh no, now you really were considering if this person was in fact an android. You coughed into your hand.
“ This might sound strange but, blink twice if you're not an android?”
You continued.“ This might be very rude if you're a person, and I’m sorry if you are. But I’m just very worried! Really, seeing a person alone just staring into space would raise some concern, right? That’s just human decency to check if everything is okay.” You rambled, trying to explain yourself.
You turn to look at her. No verbal response.
Until…
“ Exiting standby mode.” Her voice was silky but quiet. It almost made you jump back as to how out of nowhere it was.
She finally turned her head towards you and blinked twice. There was a long silence that followed afterwards.
“ Ah, alright I see.” You shook your head to rid yourself of initial embarrassment. Her gaze felt intense, almost nerve wracking.
“ A- Are you okay then? I came over to check in, you seemed sorta zoned out into the ocean.”
She blinked once more. “ No, I was just thinking. The water level is rising and I was checking if it was the same as last time.”
“ Huh.”  Now you were also staring into the ocean. “That makes sense.”
“ It reminds me, there used to be hills right? Before all of this, this used to be a grassy valley. I remember sort of.” You laughed.
“I used to coop myself up in my room reading and messing around with my gramp’s clocks, I never went outside much. But I’m pretty sure there was green here instead of water. Albeit kinda swampy.”
The woman beside you hummed in acknowledgment. “ I used to play in this area when I was a little girl. Alongside my brother, we would race to see who’d get to the top of the hill first.” She said as she went back to staring at the ocean.
You crossed your arms.
“ People believe that this has been happening due to the prophecy, right? Even back then, I heard the adult’s discussing it thinking I wasn’t in the room listening.” You hummed.
“Yes.” The girl said “ Soon, the nation and along with our memories will submit and sink beneath the waves of the water. That’s what the prophecy suggests.”
You felt a small shiver go up your spine. You loved diving, exploring underneath the water. But drowning? That was horrifying to think about. Sometimes, you would find skeletal remains underwater. Usually, it was marine life that drowned and couldn’t reach the surface in time for air.
Shaking off the memories, you turned to talking about something else.
“ It hasn’t been too bad. On the bright side, the water helps on warm days. I don’t really like the sun, it makes you feel gross and humid.” You glanced down at your shoes. The sand ahead of you was darker as it had been soaked by the stretching of waves.
“Dipping for a nice cool swim is one of the best feelings. Diving has also slowly become more and more popular because of the abundance of water around.” You smiled. It was terrifying to think that the city might one day soon become a submerged underwater city. But until then, everything was fine and manageable. You didn’t need to think about the future when there were more important things to do in the now.
The girl’s eyes slightly widened, before resting back to a neutral expression. “That is a nice thought. I don’t care much for sunny days either. I prefer rainier weather.”
You nodded in agreement.
The sound of the waves rolling in was hypnotic, and the sun bounced off the water making the horizon a gleaming star. You couldn’t hear the gossip of the town people anymore.
Your frustration felt back at the station and the gossiping women seemed to have melted away. You felt at peace.You liked this, maybe she had the right idea of just sitting here and thinking.
 “We’ve been here standing and sharing past memories like we know each other. But, I never got your name.” you asked, raising a brow.
The woman once again looked slightly surprised. “ Oh, right. Not many people really care about knowing about me.”
You were about to say something until she continued.
“Which is perfectly fine by me. I prefer to be by myself. I’m not exactly a people person, unlike someone else.” She said, her voice monotone until the latter statement. You caught on how there was a slight smidgen of emotion there.
“ But since you asked, my name is Lynette.” She said, raising a hand to her chest.
“ Nice to be your acquaintance, I’m [Name].” You smiled as you introduced yourself.
Lynette nodded. Her dark purple eyes quickly scanned your person, she narrowed them slightly on your bag.
“ Ah, this?” You asked, shaking your hand that held your case. “ I was going to go on a little expedition on the next island over, but the aquabus got delayed.”
Lynette said nothing, but her gaze went back to your face.
“ You asked if I had dropped something in the water right? That you would dive in to search.” She asked.
You nodded. “ Yep. As you can guess, I was on my way to go diving. I need some material for my work and also, because I like exploring underwater. It really is a whole other world beneath the mirror surface.” You exclaimed happily. You then remembered what happened a short while ago, immediately crushing your small moment of happiness.
“Which is why I’m in a bit of a sad mood since my trip was suddenly canceled.” You sighed dejectedly. You look back onto the open water. It’s not like you couldn’t go and try the next day, but you were really looking forward to spending the day in the water.
Lynette stayed quiet for a few minutes. Staring out to the water, like you.
“...”
“...”
It was quiet for a long moment.
“ What do you usually find when diving?” She suddenly asked. Once again, you were almost spooked as to how sudden her voice just came in.
“ The normal stuff being shells, crabs, fish and sometimes lost items that sank to the bottom . But on rare occasions, I find useful minerals like iron, copper, and unpolished gems.” You said.
“Granted, I use a bit of help with my equipment. I mostly use my Scan Stretcher.”
Lynette’s head tilted to the side, her ears swayed along.
“ Scan Stretcher ? ”
“Ah, the equipment I made. It locates Geo elemental concentrations . When in the range of something, it will beep quickly.” You exclaimed with some excitement. “The name could use some workshop. But it saves flipping over stones and disrupting the ecosystem.”
“I see.” She said while nodding her head.
You look back to the water. But for a moment, something glared in your eye causing you to blink rapidly. Locating where the light came from you noticed something in the shallow.
Not wanting to get water in your boots- nor your socks -you kicked off your boots. Lynette had turned to you, eyes observing your every move.
Once you were done, you rolled up your pants to your knees and went out into the water.
“ Saw something out here!” You yelled back at Lynette who just stared confused.
Bending down, you sift through the sand. The water was clear and blue as it rippled along with your movement. There was some seaweed, shells, and some tube fish that sunk into the sand as your hand hovered above them.
Aha! Found it.
Picking it up, you raced back to Lynette. The water splashing as you kicked through.
“Here it is! I saw something just a moment ago.” In your hand was a little crystal. It was a smooth piece of what you assumed was smoothed glass. It had a soft side, but behind it was a jaded clean cut that gleamed when the sun hit.
Lynette leaned over to look at the shiny crystal. Her eyes grew with interest as it twinkled and shined as you moved it around to shake off the water.
“ Sea glass is very pretty, right? It’s so shiny and colorful it almost makes you want to eat it.” You said happily.
Lynette broke out of her shiny trance and looked at you utterly confused and maybe concerned.
“ Eat it? I’d assume there would be health issues if you were to eat glass.” She said flatley.
“ W-well, they look like hard candies and dessert toppers! If you squint they do.” You defended.
Lynette shook her head as she glanced back down at your hand. She said nothing as the shine seemed to bounce from her widened dark viola eyes. It made them more enchanting in a way.
“I guess you're right. They do sort of resemble sweets” She said as her mouth curtly frowned.
You nodded triumphantly, as she agreed with you.
“ I think I saw some more back there. You can join me if you’d like.” You politely offered. Lynette looked to you, and then out to the water.
“ No thank you. It would be bothersome if I got my outfit wet. However,” She walked over to your case and stood next to it.
“ I’ll watch over your things from here, alright? ”
You nodded. “ Thank you. You didn’t need to do that.” You smiled thankfully. “ I’ll probably pick out a handful of glass and quartz. I won’t take long, promise!” You said quickly before jogging back into the water.
“ Entering Idle mode.” She spoke, although she kept her eyes on you the whole time. She saw you bend down, and kneel into the water sometimes;not caring if your pants got wet. She saw you have this focused expression. Periodically she noticed how your eyes would gleam and your face lit up if you’d likely found something.
Lynette noticed that keeping on her poker face was slightly difficult this time. Only slightly of course.
When you were finally done, you came back to the shore, your hands cupped together.
“ See, told you I wouldn’t take long!” You giggled in pride.
“ Exiting idle mode.” She spoke, her lax expression falling into a more natural one.
“ I think I have a pouch in my case. Lemme see.” You neared your case and Lynette stood aside. Pushing the case down onto the sand, you placed your glass pieces down onto a little pile.
In your case in a small side pocket you had a small wooden board, a bottle with a perfume nib, and rolled up pouches. Getting out the board and spray, you cleaned the sand off the glass. Once that was done, you quickly placed the pile into a pouch. Not before swiping two pieces of glass.
“ Here. Since you couldn’t go out to find some, I brought you these two to keep.” You extended a hand to her. “I noticed how you kept staring earlier at that piece, so I’d figured you’d like to take some home.”
In your hand were two oval shaped glasses. Their surfaces were smooth and soft to the touch. There were two colors; a seafoam green and a transparent one with purple and indigo streaks running horizontally.
Lynette eyed the two glasses in your hand. She extended her hand and picked off each one. She brought them closer to her face and raised them up so that the sun shined through them. She finally looked back at you.
“Thank you. You didn’t need to bring me anything, but the gesture is appreciated.”
You shook your head. “ I wanted to. Partly, to make up for it earlier. I assumed you were an android. Again, I’m sorry.” You averted your eyes out of embarrassment of ever assuming that.
“It’s fine. You wouldn’t be the first to assume.” She replied immediately.
“Also, for disrupting your alone time. I didn’t know until you started talking to me. It’s really peaceful here. I can see why you chose to space out. It’s a nice place to meditate.” You continued.
Lynette said nothing but stared ahead into your eyes.
“ I’ll probably take my leave now. If not to work, then to change my clothes.” You kicked a foot, motioning to the soaked pants. “ I might catch a cold if I stay any longer by the shore.”
“ I’ll get going now, goodbye. It was nice talking to you.” You said, as you quickly put your shoes back on and picked up your suitcase. As you left Lynette had not stopped looking at you, until you disappeared from view.
She stood back and faced the water again. She rolled around the two glasses in her hand.
She notices the soft shine that would bounce off them, the smokey turquoise that was the color of one piece. The purple and indigo stripes on the other looked like ribbons tying together around the crystalline stone. She began to think of the encounter she had with you.
She was suddenly in the mood for some deserts.
She took one quick glance at water, before turning on her heel back towards the city. For some strange reason, she felt like biting the precious stones. Until reason came back to her making her scoff at the thought.
You saw her more often as you would sometimes leave your place for food or materials from nearby shops. She would be out and about, sometimes you spotted her on a table with a tin of sweets next to her, sometimes she’d look to be zoning again.
You regularly say hello to her given the chance. Sometimes she’d return the gesture, other times she only spared you a quick glance. You later found out that she was a Magician’s assistant. A very famed one in the city in fact. You internal facepalmed yourself when you saw the silver haired girl on some promotional performance poster.
You should’ve recognized her sooner, but you don’t exactly have time to go to see Trials or any other theatrical performances. You’d usually catch small snippets of gossip during your weekly commutes. You were either too busy tinkering at home with some machines or underwater.
Slowly, she started to talk more. You noticed that she really wasn’t a people person, not that she was exactly shy, but she was just very kept to herself.
On some days, you'd catch her sitting in a cafe by herself. Usually cooling down a piping hot tea cup. You would sit by her and just talk. She didn’t protest to your company,  although at the beginning it was mostly one sided.
“Hey, how are you?”
“...” She looked at you briefly, it was a soft and casual glance.
“I’ll take that as fine. Anyways, what tea are you trying this time?”
She stirred her spoon in the cup. “Chamomile.”
“ That’s one of my favorites. Although, sometimes I go overboard with the sugar. Only sometimes.”
“...” She gave you a look. A silently judging look.
“ Really! I try to remember to go easy on that now.” You shrunk a little in your seat given her gaze.
She was quiet for a few seconds before glancing back down at her cup. “Good.”
You sometimes would go through the trouble of passing by the same cafe once and a while. Soon enough, you found two teacups on the table. Slowly she started to converse more, granted it was simple short phrases to get the conversation moving.
“ When I was extracting some copper, I got pinched by a crab. A shell fell onto my hand and then a pincer came out.”
“ Go on.”
“ It’s hard to yell underwater! The sound just stays confined in your helmet, it’s really weird. But I managed to shimmy the crab off and get the copper. He left a little red mark on my hand though.”
“ Wow, really?”
“ Yeah. It wasn’t too bad though, it just caught me off guard. I really thought it was an empty shell.”
“ I see.” Although it was very faint, you were certain you heard the small suppressed hiccup of a giggle.
Pretty soon, afternoon teas were usual. Although it was never voiced, you realized that Lynette had begun to notice your appearance quicker each week. Walking from a distance, she’d turn her head and make eye contact with you before you sat down.
The usual little meeting once or twice a week has led you to the situation you are in now.
This time the table was fuller; there were two teacups out, a tray of small desserts, a small pile of colored paper and fabric, another pile of thin wire, and a blue vase.
“ This is different…Did you decide to take work outside?” You asked.
“ Sort of.” She said as she just narrowed her eyes at the supplies. “ It’s part of something planned for tomorrow. I just got stuck with making them.”
You nodded, you sat down across from. “ I see. What is it? If you don’t mind sharing.”
“ Flowers.” She immediately answered.
“ Oh, the vase makes sense now. How many exactly?”
“Two arrangements.”
Your eyes traveled over to the bunch of fabric. Next to it were three flowers. Your hand traveled over to one, as you lifted it closer to you. Its ‘petal’s’ were carefully folded pieces of paper, its stem felt incredibly soft and smooth, and its bud was a tough feeling material. You brought it closer to your face; it smelled like nothing.
“ You already made a few?” You look up to Lynette.
“ Yes. But I am taking a tea break now.” She calmly said as she reached over for the teapot.
“I take it that you want me to help you out then?” You ask with a small teasing smile. Lynette was a closed off person, so it was odd of her to work on personal matters on an outside table.
Lynette said nothing, but her ears did slightly twitch upward before relaxing.
“ If you don't mind.”
You leaned forward and grabbed some wire and a handful of fabric. “You’re lucky I don’t have anywhere else I need to be today. I’ll help you.”
You furrowed your eyebrows as you grimaced.
“But,”
Lynette looked up, perplexed.
“Could you maybe, teach me how to do this?” You managed to ask.
Lynette stared at you in disbelief.
“ I thought you were an inventor. I would assume this would be a sitch for you.” She asked, genuinely confused.
Your face became slightly warmer and your lips turned squeezed into a line. “ I know my way around machinery, but not this sort of thing. If you were to ask me to make a mechanical rotating bouquet that sprays perfume, I could do that.” You hummed thinking about it.
Lynette thought for a moment. A hand came up to her mouth. Her shoulders shook slightly and her fair face became a little rosier. “ You remind me of my little brother. He’s also good with machines, but anything else he’s a bit shy.”
You felt your pout morph into a small grin. Try as you did, you couldn’t suppress it. You hadn’t seen Lynette be so expressive in the past time you’d known her. But her smile was contagious, it made her face almost glow.
“ I’m serious, this isn’t the same thing I’m used to!” You defended.
Lynette had calmed down and had a resting smile. “ I can show you. Just pay close attention so I won’t repeat myself.”
Lynette had scooted her chair closer into the table, and had set her teacup at a nice distance. She leaned forward and took some materials of her own.
She made a flower in a slow paced manner. Short direct instructions followed each movement of her hand.
“ Here. You messed up this crease.” She set down her flower as she leaned over to you. She got really close to your face, and her hands gently took hold of your wire. Her hand gently put firmly gripped on your’s to stop you. You became slightly nervous, holding in a breath.
“Watch carefully, alright?” She spoke, her voice a lot clearer and louder due to how close she was. You had always known she had a soothing voice, but at the moment it sounded ethereal.
Ethereal? You felt the corners of your face get hot.
You watched as she flattened out an edge and tucked it into a fold, but your mind became slightly dazed. Your eyes were glued to the paper flower but you felt your chest feel tight.
“There, you should be able to make a few by yourself now.” She leaned back into her seat. You looked back up at her face. She still had a smile on, but her beautiful purple eyes gleamed encouragingly.
It was odd. She had always had a look in her eyes;a faraway look, almost glassy. But as you looked at her, they felt warmer. You knew that she was always pretty, but at this moment she looked absolutely radiant.
“ Yeah, I..I think I got it.” You managed to speak up. “Thanks for showing me the ropes, I should be fine.” You quickly glanced back at your paper flower.
You had to distract your brain, there’s no way you’d tell her what you thought of her. That would make your tea times awkward or maybe she didn’t see you like you saw her. You didn’t want to ruin this odd but nice friendship you had with her.
Lynette nodded. “ Good. An extended break is in order for me then.”
You snapped back up to her. You grumbled. slightly jealous that she gets to sit back. “At least make me a cup okay? This is gonna take a while after all.”
Lynette nodded, “ That’s why there are two cups on the table.” After some time - way past Lynette’s self proclaimed extra break time - you became slightly frustrated.
“This would go a lot faster if you helped me right about now.”
 “ I am helping, I’m keeping your tea at a good temperature. You're welcome.”
“ Oh really? That’s very productive.” You said sarcastically, the fabric knot not coming any loose by your attempts.
“Very, actually.” She said without batting an eye towards you. There was a slight hint of superiority in her words as the ghost of a smirk was present on her lips.
You sighed. There really was no point in arguing with her. “ Fine. Whatever you say.”
“You better not drink my cup while I’m not looking.” You quickly added.
Lynette looked up from her cup. “ Of course. Besides, there are more than enough sweets here to have.”
After some time, many snacks, tea and mishaps, the bouquets were finally finished!
The vase bloomed along the top with various colors and shapes, all sorts of paper flowers flew in all directions. The vase would probably weigh triple its initial weight. Most of the material’s were almost gone, save for three wires and scraps.
“ That took a while but it’s done! It looks so pretty too!” You leaned a bit back to admire the arrangement from a distance.
Lynette mirrored your motion. “ I have to agree.”
Most of the sweet snacks were gone and the teapot was out of tea. You had found that making flower’s was oddly relaxing. After the many little mishaps, you had figured out the way of flower making. And it only took about four misshapen paper flowers.
“ It’s already getting late, I should get going.” You stood up from your chair. “ Do you need help carrying it out?”
Lynette shook her head. “ It’s fine. I’ll manage.”
“ Alright, I’ll see you next week then?” You had asked as you picked up your tea cup and plate.
You heard no response. You were about to leave when you felt your wrist be held. You look back and see Lynette standing up next to you.
“ Yes, but before you go I..” She paused and cleared her throat. “ If you want, I can reserve you a seat for the show.”
Your eyes slightly widened. But you quickly recovered and nodded your head. “ Sure! I can make it.”
Lynette exhaled and nodded in agreement. “ Great then.” She took out a playing card from her sleeve, and had a concentrated expression fixed on it.
She waved it around in her hand for a few moments and covered it with her other. When she opened her hand, instead of the card was a red ticket decorated with golden stars around the edge.
“Ta-da, here you go. Keep it with you until tomorrow evening.” She extended her hand to you with the ticket. You plucked it out of her grasp and blinked rapidly processing what just happened.
 “What? How did you do that?!” You asked very confused.
Lynette chuckled quietly, she brought a finger up to her lips. “ A magician never tells their secret, that rule also extends to the assistant.”
You pouted, but thought about what you saw. Her slight of the hand was impressive, so if you’d have to assume it was just a quick motion too brief to notice. Then again, it was still impressive.
You read the content of the ticket, you saw the location that it would be at the local theater of the Court.
“ I’ll see you tomorrow then, I’m excited to see your show!” You looked back at her with a bright smile. Lynette’s purple eyes stayed trained on you, not saying a word for a moment.
She then shook her head. “ I’m excited too, surprisingly. I just thought it would be nice since I’ve never seen your face in the crowd. Not once.”
You rubbed your wrist as you chuckled nervously. “ I’m just not one who goes out to watch a trial or concert. I mainly work, read, sleep and travel out for business purposes.”
“ I would assume you’d be quite popular. You're intelligent, resourceful and not to mention easy on the eyes.” She hummed.
You coughed into your hand, still having a nervous smile on you “ That’s nice of you to say, but either way thank you for the reservation! You didn’t need to do this, I could've gone out and bought the ticket myself if you had just told me too!” You talked a bit faster than usual.
The silver haired girl shook her head. “ It’s fine, I wanted to do this.”
You left after saying your goodbyes.
Lynette felt odd. She had talked a lot more than she usually did. Normally, after today, she would be socially drained.
But she strangely didn’t feel too tired. As she bunched up the fabrics, her mind raced and analyzed what had happened.
She concluded that although she did feel drained, it wasn’t as major as she would’ve assumed. If it had been up to her normal standards, today’s exchange would’ve been a grand total of a 35% decrease in her social battery. But it only felt like she had lost 6%.
She recalled how comfortable she felt around you. Which struck her as more odd. Normally the people she would feel the most at peace with were a select few; the closest being her brother, ‘Father’ and her little brother. But with you, she felt safe and comfortable. Or so she concluded.
She paid close attention to you. She had deduced you weren’t a person who possessed any sort of threat or harm within the first three days of knowing you.
She found you slightly clumsy and a bit reckless at times, but you were smart. Smart enough to construct and operate machinery and technology with expertise. Something that she lacked, her and machines were… never a good combination to put it simply.
She found your stories amusing, they were unlike what most girls gossiped and talked about. She found out that although you were outward and expressive, you kept your life private and to yourself.
You were an oddity to her. But a nice oddity to be with.
Before you left to see the show, you thought about what you would wear. You only had a few select good clothing. You put a nice looking outfit together; a (f/c) above the knee skirt with (dark/pastel) stockings, a long sleeve button up, and a matching (f/c) coat. You went light with the accessories, a silky scarf tied around your neck and (dark/pastel) gloves.
You debated whether or not to wear some perfume. But you remembered something, Lynette didn’t exactly like strong smells. You remembered how she would slightly flinch whenever a person with a strong smelling perfume passed by the table.
You wanted to talk to her after the show, and if you did you wouldn’t want to overwhelm her with strong smelling perfume. So instead, you opted for some drops of the soft smelling perfume on your wrist. Its smell was a lot calmer than the more popular spritzing bottles among ladies. It mellowed out after getting rubbed in.
You had made something, the day you got home from making paper flowers.
With the learned knowledge in how to make them, you made a little gift for Lynette. Performer’s would be given flowers, praise and Mora after a performance right? So with some sea glass you had left to spare, you made a flower brooch.The brooch was the size of your palm.
The center of the flower was a polished glass which was as blue as the inside of an underwater cave. Bending the wire, you made green fabric leaves around the bottom of the petals. The color of the flower itself was a rose gold, the petals alternating from the rose and golden brown.
You carefully placed your little trinket in your small handbag.
You sat in your cushy seat as you looked around. The theater was very decadent, a lot of thought went into the architecture of the interior. The large red curtains on the stage made a satisfying humming sound as they were pulled back by some pulley system.
And the show commenced.
Each trick after another left you on the edge of your seat. You never exactly expressed your excitement verbally, but you were laser focused in on how each trick was pulled off. The magician Lyney has a strong charisma. It was the exact opposite of what Lynette was, if it wasn’t for their similar appearances you wouldn’t think they would be related. When Lynette was brought in onto the stage, you clapped. It is only natural to support someone you like.
Perhaps that’s why she held onto your gaze the most. The rest of the audience were more focused on Lyney, as the assistant was mostly quiet and overlooked.
She looked around the audience and spotted you. You couldn’t exactly see from your seat, but her lips twitched up into a barely noticeable smile. Lyney kept up with his performer’s face, but he was slightly shocked to see a trace of emotion on his sister’s face. She was usually poker faced when on stage, he thought. What could’ve possibly enabled her to smile slightly on stage?
The show carried on, and you were impressed at how nonchalant Lynette was while her energetic brother wow’d the audience. They did make a good duo however, it was complimentary and worked well to keep the people transfixed on the magic show.
Once the show had ended, you stood up and clapped. You began to understand why the town’s people liked performances. It was a momentary window into fantasy, a way to detach yourself from the reality of logic and truth.
The two bowed on stage as Lyney exclaimed with great pride the end of the show.
As everyone was making their way to the exit, you scooted about to congratulate Lynette and her brother. You managed to spot them talking around the stairs. Lynette almost immediately noticed you as she glanced past her brother. This caused her brother to hum curiously as he turned around to see.
“Ah, why if it isn’t one of our dear audience members! What brings you here mademoiselle?” Lyney smiled brightly at you.
“ Hello [Name], I’m glad you made it. So, how was the show?” Lynette asked. This caused Lyney to momentarily widen his eyes in shock, as he whipped his head back around to look at his sister.
“ It was wonderful! I can see why people hype up performances. You did great by the way! If it were me, I don’t think I could pull off a poker face like you on stage.” You smiled nervously.
Lynette smiled and hummed. “ I’ve been doing this for a while with my brother here. You get used to it after some time.”
Lyney slowly looked back and forth between you and his sister.
“I’m right here y’know! Ouch,my feelings.” Lyney 'cried’ at his sister. Lynette rolled her eyes and looked back at you with a ‘see what I mean’ kinda look. You snickered but discreetly hid it with a cough. This caused Lyney to turn his attention back to you.
“ I see you are well acquainted with my sister Lynette. May I presume a friend of hers?” Lyney asked, with a kind smile on his face.
“Er, I’d say we are.” You said nervously in front of Lynette’s brother.
Lynette came up to stand next to him. “ This is her, the one I told you about. The girl I spend drinking tea with.” She clarified.
Lyney placed a hand under his chin and glanced at your face. His gaze didn’t feel as carefree as it was, it felt like he was analyzing you. His eyes narrowed slightly, and you suddenly felt cold. Like a whiplash it went away the moment you felt it, he put his hands on his hips.
“Any friend of my sister’s is a friend of mine! [Name], was it?” He extended a hand for you to shake. Politely you nodded and went in the shake.
He gripped your hand and shook it enthusiastically, although it did feel a little tighter than most shakes should. Maybe he just had a good grip.
“ Nice to meet you too.” You said, as you forced a small smile. Lynette watched this all unfold with a worrying glance at her brother and a pity one for you. He finally let go of your hand, although he still had a grin plastered on his face. It felt oddly forced.
“ But moving on, I actually came to give you something.” You look back at Lynette, trying to recover from meeting her weird brother.
Lynette’s ears folded upward in surprise as her eyes widened slightly. You found it quite cute, her little expressions that sometimes shined through her resting poker face.
“ Remember when we made flower’s yesterday? Well,” You opened your handbag and dug through its purse until you found it. “Ta-da! I took my newly learned skill and made this.”
You showed her the flower brooch you made and Lynette eyed it down with great interest. You swore her eyes were like saucers. She stepped a little closer.
“ I had some sea glass spared in a drawer and made do with the leftover wire from last time. I smelted the pin on the back side and used some thinly pressed copper for some petals.” You excitedly explained the process. Lynette all the while admired the brooch in your palms. Some of her silver hair fell forward, and you had the urge to tuck it back. But refrained as one, you didn’t know how she would feel about it and two her brother was behind you.
“Wow, you did all that? I must say [Name], this is beautiful.” Lynette hummed, a serene smile dressed her lips.
You felt your chest feel flutter and warm at her compliment. “ Y-yep! I made it for you! It isn’t odd to give friends flower’s especially after a performance, right? So here, for you.”
You felt a small pang, friend wasn’t the right word to describe her to you.
You’ve had some friends before, but you never felt anything like this before with them.
You remembered how when the spotlight was shining down on her on stage, it felt like you momentarily forgot to breathe. She was as beautiful as the many flower’s you made last evening and as elegant as decadence. It wasn’t often, but sometimes she’d make jokes that would leave you both surprised and slightly flustered. Even when she said nothing at all, she could calmly listen to you rant about some diving mishap or your current projects. She once and a while told you about her siblings. She cared deeply about her family, willing to sit down and listen to them whenever they needed it. You came to learn that she had a big heart despite her outer concealment to her emotions.
She was a beautiful person, both inside and out. It sometimes hurt you when she said that not a lot of people care about her as she is just the assistant. Beneath the title of assistant, lied a wonderful person you wished the world saw as you did her.
Lynette took the brooch from your hand and brought it close to her. Her fingers tapped the metal petals and admired the shimmer of the dark blue glass.
“ Thank you, you must’ve worked hard on it. I’ll keep it close to me.” She hummed, her eyes still glued on the gift.
Lyney looked from a distance with an unreadable expression. He scooted close to the two of you and took a small glance at the gift. He was slightly impressed, he would see the amount of care and precision it went into putting this elegant flora together.
“My my, I must say [Name], you are a talented young lady.” Liney said in awe.
“ Of course she is, I've told you about it. She’s an inventor and diver, like Freminet.” Lynette said as she looked momentarily at her brother.
Lyney nodded rapidly and placed a finger to his chin.
“ Yep, like she said. It’s nothing to flaunt about though, most people from here know their way around the cogs and grease.” You said with a shy expression.
“But that’s all I came here for. Once again, you did amazing Lynette. Thank you for inviting me to see the show.” You smiled gratefully at her.
Lynette stared at you, her dark purple eyes magnified slightly. She nodded and a little smile made its way to her face. “ Thank you for your kind words, [Name]. Feel free to come to the next show if you have the chance too.” Her voice sounded light, and warm.
“Sure, yeah! I’ll do that!” You agreed almost immediately.
You waved Lynette and Lyney goodbye. Lyney enthusiastically waved you good bye while Lynette just smiled and kept her eyes on you as you left. She still held the brooch by her side.
“So, are you going to tell me why you seem particularly happy today?” Lyney asked curiously. “Does it have something to do with the mademoiselle inventor, perhaps?”  He tilted his head, his smooth voice teasing.
“I’m leaving now.” Lynette flatly said, as she spun on her heel and rushed back to the stage.
Lyney watched in amusement as his sister fled. He sighed however, and that smile turned into a small frown.
 He loved his sister, and he was worried. Could he entrust you with the heart of his sister, which has been guarded as much -if not- more than his own? You didn’t seem like a bad person. All he could do is be there for her and make sure you wouldn’t bring her any harm.
You came to every show you could. Each show you brought her a paper flower you had made beforehand.
Pretty soon, with all the paper flowers Lynette had kept receiving from you, she could make a bouquet.
Outside the limelight of the stage, you continued to have your little tea parties with her.
After a particular show, as you tried to find her to give her a new paper flower, something zoomed around. It was a black cloak outline with teal.
“Surprise!” You heard a familiar voice exclaim. You quickly turn around and something comes crashing into you.
OOMF!
You dropped your flower in surprise but quickly wrapped your arms around her. You craned your body back as the suddenness of the momentum.
You laughed slightly scared but also out of happiness. Her silver hair tickled your face.
“Hey! What was that for? I thought you didn’t like physical contact?” You asked in between your giggles. Early on, you had noticed her aversion to any sort of hug. You hadn’t questioned it but respected her boundaries. It didn’t sway you and you still had continued to talk to her as much as you could.
Lynette shook her head. “ I just wanted to surprise you this time, that's all. And I knew you wouldn’t expect this.”
You were slightly surprised but understood. “Then with your permission, could I surprise you for three seconds?”
Lynette, still in your arms, turned her head over curiously as she gave you a small nod.
You smiled happily. Her weight was almost nothing to you, you were used to carrying around heavy equipment.
Using your force, you lifted her slightly off the ground, and spun her around. You counted the seconds in your head.
One
She gripped your arm in slight surprise as she leaned back to look at your face. Her skirt and tail had swung behind her as did your dress spun around your torso.
Two
Lynette figuring out what was going on, let a smile spread along her face. Her silver hair swiped against her face as the light breeze from the spin enveloped the two of you. She leaned her face closer to you, and you could hear her giggle under her breath. Her eyes crinkled slightly as the joy was evident in her face.
Three
As you promised, you came to a slow stop and set her down. She still had a grip on both your arms, and her face was a more relaxed smile. There was a small pigment of rose on her face.
“Ah! I dropped my flower, hold on.” You knelt down to pick it back up.
You presented the flower to her, it was a paper rose that had paper pink petals and the ends were powdered lightly with a golden powder. The center had curled wires with tiny bits of smooth pale yellow glass.
“Here.” You extended it to her as she plucked it out of your hand. You smiled nervously, “How many flowers have I given you now? Surely well over three bouquets worth.”
“Five actually.” She held your paper flower close to her and her smile was teasing.
“If you would let me, I’d make a thousand more paper flowers for you.”
Lynette’s eye’s widen and her slightly rosey face became a shade darker. Her expression didn’t budge however, making her redder face more noticeable.
“ That’s a nice thought.” She said quietly.
You realized what you said, and immediately mirrored her flustered expression.
“ Ehem, I should go now. I just remembered I forgot my helmet at home! I was going to go diving after the show.”
You robotically tried to flee, until something grabbed your wrist. Quickly turning you around with a surprising amount of force, you faced the silver haired girl again.
In almost the same amount of time, you felt a little nudge by your face. It took you time to process but a tiny pair of cool soft lips were on your cheek.
Lynette leaned back with a lax expression, but her face was now a pale pink color. “ I’d keep each flower you’d make me close to my heart, alright?”
Your face was blanked with shock as your hand came up to your face to touch your cheek.
“ Alright.” You had almost whispered, your mind still buffering to realize what happened. You felt your face’s temperature rise by the passing seconds “Tea time as always?”
Lynette nodded. “ Yeah.”
“I’ll see you then.” You managed to say, turning to leave.
Lynette watched as you left, the paper Rainbow Rose held close to her chest. Once you were out of sight, she let out a held breath.
That wasn’t bad. It wasn’t bad at all.
She felt her energy had risen a good 75% after that. She headed backstage with a small smile on her face, internally proud of herself.
“So, mademoiselle inventor eh?” Her brother’s voice suddenly broke through the silence. Lynette turned to Lyney with narrowed eyes.
“ I approve, don’t worry.” Lyney cooly said, the playing deck in his hands danced as he practiced. “ I bet she’ll get along great with Freminet too, make him come out of his shell.”
“ I can see that.” Lynette said, fidgeting with the paper rose’s petals.
“ If she stomps on your heart, however, I’ll have to make her disappear for my next act!” Lyney said joyously, completely masking the ominous threat with a light hearted voice.
Lynette once again sent him a sharp look. “ Don’t you dare.”
End.
A/N: I love both of them, but this goes out to all the Lynette enjoyer girlies! Also, there isn't much fic about her so here, one for contribution :D
Not really an “x reader” request but more of a Hazbin Hotel hurt/comfort fic when after the final battle, when everyone is recuperating and tending to wounds, that Lucifer noticed the nasty cut on Charlie’s head and just goes full overprotective dad mode and feels terrible that he wasn’t able to be of help at the battle sooner. (There’s the whole theory that he couldn’t because of the deal with the angels that he couldn’t interviene unless they broke the rules of the agreement)
So yeah, that be a request? Is that okay?
protective dad mode.
of course! :D
warnings:angst(??), comfort, not proofread.
Tumblr media
lucifer stared up at the sky as he watched all the angel’s retreat up into the portal that led to heaven, a proud and triumphant smile on his face. it was over. they had won the battle! they even managed to take down adam!
when the last angel flew through the portal before closing, that’s when he finally turned to look at the damage that had been done from the battle. a frown replaced that cocky smirk rather quickly.
the hotel was destroyed, completely in ruins. rubble, ash, blood, and more had scattered the land, leaving nothing to be repaired.
a stab of guilt hit lucifer right in the chest, his frown deepening. all charlies hard work was now just a pile of rubble and remains of a battle. he started to feel guilty for not being here sooner. maybe the hotel would’ve at least been fixable.
he sighed and ran his fingers through his now messy blond hair. he should find the others. he turned to the side and scanned the area. angel dust was busy pampering and hugging fat nuggets, husk was, of course, trying to search for any remaining bottles of alcohol in all of the rubble, nifty was busy stabbing all the corpses of the angels to make sure they were dead, and that freak of a deer demon was nowhere to be found.
so then where was charlie and her girlfriend? he soon found his answer when he noticed them not too far away. charlie seemed to be leaning on vaggie for support while vaggie gently rubbed her shoulders.
he sighed in relief and approached them with a small smile. but before he could say anything he noticed a trickle of blood run down her forehead, and that made him freeze. his precious daughter was hurt!
panic instantly overcame him, and he started approaching even faster now. “charlie! dear, are you hurt? let me see!” he cupped charlie’s face before she could even get a word out, and vaggie stepped back to give the two some space.
upon further inspection lucifer found a nasty cut on her forehead, and he made a shocked noise. charlie put her hands on her fathers arms and tried to pry him off. “dad.. i’m okay, really. it’s just a small scratch.”
lucifer’s brows furrowed. “it’s more like a gash then anything else! goodness where is the first aid?— oh it’s probably destroyed!” not knowing what else to do, lucifer pulls charlie into a protective hug. “we’re going to get you patched up alright?—“
“dad stop!” charlie broke away from her fathers grip, her eyes wet with tears. lucifer frowned, feeling another stab of guilt. there was a moment where the two of them just stood there in silence, but then charlie spoke up again, her voice softer this time.
“..sorry, dad.. i just.. the hotel is.. and sir pentious-“ she was struggling to find the right words, too filled with grief to speak properly. oh how he hated seing his little girl upset like this..
lucifer sighed and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. he was still extremely worried about the wound on her head, but he knew he shouldn’t be smothering her like this. he wasn’t great with cheering people up, but he’d do anything for his daughter.
“it’s not your fault.” he said, biting his lip with guilt. “maybe everything would’ve been fine if i had come sooner. all of this is my fault.”
charlie sniffled and wiped her eyes, shaking her head. “it’s not you’re fault dad. i mean if it weren’t for you i would have been.. you know..” she didn’t have the strength to finish what she was going to say but lucifer knew. if he hadn’t come in sooner adam would’ve killed charlie.
“charlie.. you did good today. i’m really proud of you. you stood up to the exorcists and saved your friends. to me that sounds like a well deserved victory. and about sir pentious.. he gave his life up for all of you. that sounds like redemption even though he never got to make it that far.”
charlie sighed, a small smile gracing her lips. it made lucifer happy to see, knowing that he could still make her happy. “thank you, dad.. i’m going to miss him.”
lucifer rubbed her shoulder gently. “i know.. but know that he won’t be forgotten.” he pulls charlie into a much gentler hug this time, to which the princess returns.
after a few seconds he pulled away, gently touching her forehead. she winced but didn’t pull away. “this still needs to be taken care of, sweetie. come here.” he was still clearly in his protective dad mode, but made sure to tone it down for charlies sake.
he gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face before a light golden glow emitted from his hand. it wasn’t long until the wound had ben semi-healed. he couldn’t heal it fully like he wished since he was a bit drained at the moment, but he did the best he could.
a soft sigh left charlie’s lips, her eyes holding a lot less pain to them now. she shot lucifer a grateful smile before turning to where the hotel once stood. “what are we going to do now?” she whispered dreadfully.
the others began to gather around the two, looking as if they were wondering the same thing. lucifer just smiled, knowing what to do. “we’ll just have to build a new one! did you forget who holds all the power here?”
though his magic wasn’t as strong now, it wasn’t fully used up. he would gladly spend the rest on helping charlie build her precious hotel back, and hopefully make it even better than before.
her friends looked determined, giving each other nods of approval. that made charlie smile, and she moved to stand by vaggie to give her a small kiss on the cheek. she looked as determined as the rest now, giving a nod.
“yes! we need to rebuild this hotel. for sir pentious and dazzle! in their honor, and in hopes for a new, better start!”
charlie’s friends cheered, and lucifer suddenly felt much better about all of this.
it was time to get to work
(ahh i’m sorry this took long! and i feel like it’s not my best work either but i still hope you enjoyed it either way! <3 thank you for requesting!)
