I love that everyone in TMA is just. Unremarkable. Jon isnt a heroic character; he's self-loathing and depressed and he exhibits the same self-pity as I do when I'm self-loathing and depressed. He doesn't stand out for his strength of will or quick-thinking or virtue. He's a good person but he stops trying to stay human when it gets uncomfortable. He's everything that a regular person is when theyre trapped in a horrible situation and it's ugly and insufferable and Real.

thinking that celebrities are sending out coded messages through social media and thinking that you can read specific emotions and thoughts from body language is unhealthy.

you do not know these people. it is impossible to know what they are thinking or feeling based on pictures or even videos.

OK, y'know, what the fuck is wrong with people? Lemme tell you something—I did indeed contribute to the crowdfunding efforts of OFMD. I have some disposable income right now, so I did that, because this show is important to me and it's important to a lot of other people. Will anything come of that? Dunno, but it's obvious that fan passion is making just the possibility of a third season more possible.

I also regularly contribute to Planned Parenthood, every month, and have since 2016. AND, because of the efforts of this fandom, I've found something else—places to support Palestine and the people who are being hurt and displaced there. I've struggled with finding those charities because there are so many that are not trustworthy, don't do the work, etc., and there was a narrative going around that no help was getting through anyway. But because of resources being posted as a part of the OFMD fandom, I was able to do further research and find places where I know the money I can contribute will actually help people.

So, yeah, we can care about the future of the gay pirate show and we can care about access to abortion and healthcare and we can care about Palestine and we can also care about a whole bunch of other shit going on in the world. Caring about one thing can also lead to caring about a whole bunch of other things.

Fucking children on this website policing what other people do with their time and money. You don't fucking know, and no one owes you an explanation (and even then you keep receiving them). You're not an activist. Shut the entire fuck up.

Humming contentedly while baking or gardening.

Her upbeat moods becoming more frequent.

Becoming more social again beyond just courtly affairs and gardening.

Leaning her head back and closing her eyes to feel the sun on her face and the fresh, warm air.

Being way too giddy/giggly over something that's not actually that funny to anyone else.

Being a little too aware of Lucien or his absence somewhere. Not realizing a detail included in something she says gives it away.

Her ears turning pink every time he approaches.

Suddenly no longer having small injuries from gardening from wearing gloves.

Somebody else--maybe Feyre or Nesta--nearly missing the gleam of a pearl earring when she brushes her hair back.

The way she slowly seems to be more interested in whatever Lucien's talking about than the others (and far more engaged in that conversation).

One of her sisters not knowing where she learned some skill or another, and Elain being vague at best or sheepish about admitting she learned it from Lucien.

Her knowing more than expected about some topic, court, etc. that implies she and Lucien have been having plenty of their own conversations.

Little looks and touches that imply far more of a story than what they're actively showing the world.

Basically, I love the idea of Elain's love life blossoming again outside of any watchful eyes and to see her happy and flourishing from it.

Yet again, I feel like I need to justify my place in the Pedro Pascal fandom.

When I say I'm a fan of 'Pedro Pascal' I mean I'm a fan of his work, his incredible talent for choosing and creating amazing characters. I'm a fan of the persona we see in interviews and on social media. This energetic, funny, articulate, kind man who often advocates for others.

I don't actually know that much about him. I don't care to. My enjoyment of his work would not be enhanced by knowing where he lives or who he spends his time with. His personal life has no effect on his work, and his work is all he's obliged to offer us as an actor.

I cannot fathom why people push into his personal life. If you did that on the Internet to a random person, it would be considered wrong, but because he's famous, you think he's fair game. It's still wrong, and you should be ashamed.
