Well it depends on where you are in your relationship. Unlike Makima, Makime is more openly seductive and is not afraid to use his charm, he is very self-centered about it.

Since I'm based on my fanfic, Makime is your boss in the fourth section of public security and you usually see him but try to stay out of it while hanging out with the boys.

Since you asked for headcanons, I'll go two ways, first I'll do the SFW and then the NSFW because I want to dedicate more time to that one since I suck writing intimate acts.

Tokens of appreciation:

Makime would show her appreciation in a peculiar and somewhat twisted way at worst. He could offer eloquent compliments and sweet flattery, but always with a hidden agenda. His words may be framed in lies and manipulations, it is likely that he seeks to obtain something in return, for example... Your entire disposition and love for him.

If you are at the beginning of the relationship, he would seek to attract you with simple gifts that you would not expect from him, for example: Roses, money or bonuses from your salary. Well, he knows you don't trust him.

If you are already more confident, he could show his appreciation through such simple acts as leaving you with less workload or pairing you up with him so you don't endanger yourself on more important missions [Which is more of an excuse to keep an eye on you and silently study you in case that he still did not declare his love openly]. He would be constantly watching over you, making sure you were safe and removing any perceived threats [Whether he was actually dangerous to you or just out of jealousy].

Makime might offer quirky and unique gifts that reflect her knowledge of your likes and interests. However, these gifts could be more manipulative than genuine intent. Sometimes just looking for a reaction from you, whether positive or not, he just wants you to pay attention.

You are really confused by their actions, sometimes you feel compelled to accept their gifts, good or bad.

Romance type:

The romance with Makime would be an emotional roller coaster. Spending time with him could be exciting and exciting, but also dangerous and exhausting. His cunning and manipulative personality would create an intense dynamic, full of mind games at the worst. Well, since I'm basing myself on the events of my Fanfic: A peach between apples, you constantly doubt the intentions of the red-haired demon since you know its nature from its original version, Makima.

Makime would seek to maintain absolute control in the relationship, although he would secretly like to have sweet moments without forcing you to participate in them, but it will only happen when he is sure that you will not let him. He can be possessive and jealous, showing his darker side if he feels you are slipping out of his control or if you have been a brat to him.

The romance with Makime, as I said, is quite nuanced and since he doesn't know the feeling of human-style love, he grew up in isolation [I guess?] He could make you feel uncomfortable without meaning to but he's still a son of a bitch, so he doesn't care about your reactions a lot, he just wants to see you nervous and/or any other emotion, you're interesting.

He would always be hiding parts of himself and revealing little clues as the relationship progresses or that he already has the certainty that you will not betray him, that you will be his completely. These secrets and gradual revelations could lead to a complicated and ambiguous emotional connection since you don't fully understand their actions.

At times Makime can be cold and insensitive to your feelings, but when he's jealous or vulnerable, he drops his cunning and prideful facade, to be twistedly soft on you. Their gifts in these cases would be more intimate, giving you things that they know you like. In his strange and sadistic way, he gives you someone's heart or kills in front of you, which leaves you quite traumatized because it is not pretty to see someone literally explode or see how their insides turn inside out (that is, the skin and organs come out of the inside ). These cases only occur when he is in a bad mood or wants to punish you.

Types of names and nicknames that Makime uses with you:

Makime's nicknames towards you influence his impressions, at the beginning of meeting you she would call you little employee or lamb, because in his eyes you look like a nervous lamb in front of its predator.

As they are already closer or in a relationship that is not [clearly if] forced, he would call you: Little doll, little rabbit or puppy.

In cases where he is in a bad mood, he usually uses demeaning names like: Pet, my prize, Dumb human or needy bitch [but these last names are more in the NSFW context].

Particularly when he is feeling most intimate and vulnerable, he often calls you my treasure, love (if not very creative) angel or princess.

You walked the streets of Tokyo, checking your makeup and everything. Makime had summoned you for something, with the control demon you never knew what he would do next or even his intentions towards you. You saw makime sitting down having a coffee, you approached him by sitting on it and adjusting the wrinkles in your clothes.

"Makime-san.... Did you need me for something? Normally I don't expect you to invite me to these types of places without it being for celebration or work reasons, your invitation and interest in me really surprises me" You said something nervous but trying to hide your discomfort or worst case scenario, those many doubts that run in your mind about this situation.

Makime looked at his glass of espresso as if it were interesting, only making you more uncomfortable at his non-response. Then he smiled widely and looked at you, what you didn't know is that this was just an excuse to spend time with you. He could practically see you anywhere and yet he preferred moments like these even if they weren't (if they are) forced. But he just wants alone time without those jerks following you around like roaches attached to food.

The redhead comes out of his thoughts about Aki, Powa and Denji turning to you again looking at you with an amused and calm smile while those piercing golden eyes follow your movements from head to toe, scrutinizing you.

"Sure... *Sigh*, you're kind of right, I invited you for a coffee, there's no problem with that... so just relax and don't try to see the devil's horn in everything, okay?" Here a sip of his coffee, while he smiles, that fucking smile that just gets on your nerves, you notice that he gives you an aura of great power when he sits near you, you start to wonder if there is something else he wants.

You don't want to be by his side, you hate even looking at him because you feel constantly violated and exposed, you hate the feeling and the bastard knows it, he enjoys getting nervous like you can't imagine.

"Makime-san, if you only called me for this I see no point in staying..." You were getting hysterical, you wanted to hit him even if it meant getting killed in the process, you still got up bowing and starting to leave. Yeah If you stayed longer, you wouldn't know whether to hit them out of irritation or the simple fact of wasting your time. Damn, you never understood their actions and that frustrates you, it's like a game of egos between tug and pull.

It wasn't until hands bigger than your arm grabbed you tightly, giving you a sharp twist, making you collide with the redhead's chest. Your face pressed against his chest, feeling the beating of his heart, although thinking about it more thoroughly you didn't know if it was just the sound he imitated to avoid raising suspicions. The breath on the helix¹ of your ear as you inevitably turned red. Instinctively you wanted to push him but he held you tighter in his arms as he whispered your name loving that blush coming from you.

You see him with a calm look, not knowing that you are telling him what he wants to hear: Those beats in your chest indicating that he was the cause of these... No one else and that puts him in a better mood.

With calm eyes, he looks at your lips and back into your eyes, he comes a little closer to you, caresses your cheek tenderly and looks at you with a more intense look. This only makes the knot in your stomach that has been building up for these few minutes increase and become more tangled like the spaghetti you ate yesterday for dinner.

"I just want to see you by my side. Isn't that enough for you?" He says with a sweet and seductive voice, he smiles a little at you, but his golden eyes look at you intensely with mixed emotions. You know that everything has an intention behind it and you don't want to give in to his whims.... But God!!, how you wanted to keep looking and admit that despite being a son of a bitch and a cunning manipulator, he's damn attractive.

You continued to stare at Makime, trying to figure out his true intentions. You felt a mixture of tension and longing inside of you, fighting against your own contradictory feelings. His closeness and his caresses disturbed you, but at the same time they attracted you in a way that you could not help.

"I don't know if that's enough for me," you replied with a shaky voice, trying to keep your guard up. "There are still many things I don't understand about you, Makime-san. I can't just get carried away by your sweet words and gestures. I don't trust you completely and we barely speak to each other."

He looks at you with a 'kind' smile on his lips and sees that his eyes become duller than usual, you avoid looking at them any longer with an insecure look, he knows you're nervous but you don't let him see everything.

"Trust takes time, you will give it to me sooner or later, you will have no other choice"

His gaze only pierces yours and his eyes remain that hypnotic golden color with those rings in them, hypnotizing you and he begins to caress your thigh with his hand.

Then as if something bewitched both of them, their lips slowly approached and he kisses your lips, nibbles your tongue and lips. Loving every inch of your mouth, your mind at this point is blurry and so you let yourself go.

the fact that iono is out there wearing painted and trained magnemite still sends me. miriam could only make do with hair unfortunately. her up do does look pretty similar but like. still not sure why thatd merit immediate jump to "they're related"

Not to mention, hair bows aren't exactly a recent thing either, I remember being in high school, seeing different students styling parts of their hair into a bow.

It's a very cute hair style. :V

Mimi used to work at a Pokemon Center before ending up at the academy and was friends and coworkers with a Model by the name of Naiara - which I find interesting. Because they might've gone separate paths, but some of their likes overlap, with Naiara being a model, and Mimi picking fashionable clothes. So it's likely that Mimi's always been interested in fashion at the side and cutesy things.

Also from Iono's trailers, I think she confirmed them in her first trailer that they're just really fancy hairclips. Which is fucking PHENOMENAL from the way they exaggerate some of her emotions and move around. She likely had them commissioned (or more likely, given Pokemon's recent technological advances, there might be a Rotom inside keeping it so fluid :V). Either way, they are VERY unique. So it's a lot harder for someone like Mimi to look around for one.

side note, one of the headcanons I have is that Mimi is a Paldean native, while Iono is from one of the PokeJapan regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh - likely not Johto, due to her dialect - speaking of which, ScVi JP pixiv fics tend to lean into Rika being from Johto because she speaks in the Kansai dialect, which is an interesting trend :V). Why Iono would be in the Iberian Peninsula???

The thing about Spanish is that it shares linguistic similarities with Japanese. Meaning that it's actually pretty easy to learn Japanese if you know Spanish, and vice versa. And honestly, she looks young enough to have likely gotten yeeted into the Academy as a foreign exchange student likely on a scholarship or no, and like. Streaming has reached the point of mainstream that makes it even easier for the younger generation to easily pick up on it (I say this as someone who's been streaming since they were in high school, it is a LOT easier now, since OBS has come a long way, and the access to better mics and headsets that are affordable have made it easier too, now that it's no long so niche)

Iono's been streaming for quite a while that she's finally achieved stability that'll allow her to keep streaming until she chooses to retire, and like...it's only upwards for her as her connections make it possible for her to grow even more.

(this proves to be quite the stark contrast with Grusha, since snowboarding is a physical sport career that often sees people retiring in their early 20s, with most snowboarders starting their careers while they're in high school and being in their actual PRIME during those years before they hit 20 - meaning Grusha is likely not that much older than your player character and their friends. Meaning there's a likely possible chance that Grusha feels a bit bitter about Iono's career. So do what you will with that information, and I just wish to see Grusha and Iono having petty fights similar to what we see in memes with Raihan and Iono lmao :V)

anyways that's my blip of the day for headcanons, do what you will with them. I like analyzing characters and going my own way with what I take away from certain interpretations (being a comm major has it's perks, but also GOD DAMN, am I a fucking nerd sometimes).

(sometimes, the stars will align, and I come across other people who think similarly that create the content that I'm too busy - or lazy - to make myself. Currently, I am in rare pair hell because Larry/Rika is not as popular of a ship on the EN-speaking side as it is on the JP end of things, hence my daily pixiv dives to read machine translated fanfic and look at hella nice art on twitter. Mr Brown Mpreg Headcanons

A very special request was given to me by someone very cool. I have not seen this movie before, so I'm going in blind after very strenuous research (see also: reading headcanons and fanfic), please be mindful of that in case of any inaccuracies and shit. I probably should have just watched it quickly, but I am incredibly lazy lmao (also I'd have to either pay for it or watch it on a dodgy website like Soap2Day where you get ads with Susan who is two miles away-).

He got knocked up by complete accident a while (like a year or so) before being hired by Joe Cabot. He was going to get rid of it, but he changed his mind on that last minute.

Naturally, he had to quit both cigarettes and coffee for the duration of the pregnancy. Neither were an easy task, even just for the nine months, but for some reason the latter bothered him more than the former.

Just getting this from vibes™, but he seems like the kind of dad to give the kid pet names before it's even born. "Buddy," "buster," etc.

Sure, he'd be happy with either gender and really just wants the kid to be healthy, but throughout the whole thing he's kinda hoping for a boy. To the point he's almost completely convinced it's a boy unless proven otherwise (either by a gender reveal scan or when the kid is born).

Read in a couple of headcanon lists that he's pretty clingy. If so, that's only amplified when he's pregnant. If he's involved with anyone romantically at the time, they will be subjected to near constant cuddles and there will be no escaping it.

Probably the kind of dad who needs to be taught how to put on a diaper properly before anything. Or almost thinks that "shake well before feeding" refers to the baby not the bottle and needs redirected before a disaster.

This kid will be introduced to Madonna from a young age and they will appreciate it. Will not be introduced to the "meanings" until they're old enough though, of course lol.

Another headcanon I have (other than the ones I wrote about there) that shows up in a few of my fics:

That Jim OFMD is stupidly easy to dare into doing stupid stuff. In my mind they're the sort that as soon as a bet or dare is on the table, they're all "hold my beer and my single brain cell" to whoever is closet, and then they do the thing whether it's a good idea or not XD (In the modern poly au I'm writing, Ivan and Jim are buddies who have bets and dares all the time and it's very fun haha!) If they're playing truth or dare, they chose dare every time, and are probably disappointed if it's easy to do hahah

👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?

This ask is kind of very funny to me, ngl. So - not really?? Not in the sense that "oh no, no one can ever read this." There's a pretty solid chance that there is writing I have that no one will ever read because I don't ever finish it. But I am very much the sort of writer to yeet even my stupidest most terrible ideas out into the wild because I think it's funny. Or because I have no shame. One or the other. Heck, half of my WIPs get yeeted at my poor unsuspecting discord pals as they're being written, no matter how terrible they are lol.

Honestly, I even just now was like "there has to be SOMETHING" so i went looking and no, there's nothing I have written that I wouldn't gladly unleash upon the world. I'm mainly too lazy to post the stuff that feels really small. But I have no shame lmao!

⏰ Do you spend more time reading fic, writing fic, or do you do both equally?

I spend far, far more time writing fic! This is both like, disability related, and also because I am just more interested in writing than I am in reading, these days. Disability wise, I've put a lot more effort in my brain injury recovery into writing, and so it's actually a lot easier for me to do than reading is. Actual reading can be a pretty big drain on me, and with non-fanfic reading I almost exclusively do audiobooks. This isn't as much of an option with fanfic (although there are some lovely podficcers out there), so I just tend not to read as much. (I have so, so many fics I want to read, and then just don't have the brains for, alas. Someday I'll get to them!)

There are many days where I don't read fanfic at all. There aren't many days where I don't write fanfic at all, nowadays!

Here is something fun to think about, fullscore trio confession headcannons?

I already mentioned it, but I believe canon and modern au would take different routes: in canon I can imagine the proposal sequence to go like Emma + Ray → Norman, while in modern au it seems more likely to be Emma + Norman → Ray. I'm not 100% sure tho... Because they're still very young in canon (I'm talking about 2047), and it looks pretty early to me to enstablish a relationship... But they always act so adult and mature so it doesn't seem too far from reality? I don't know. The shipping discourse in tpn is complicate and I don't have enough energies for it right now.

I didn't really know how to organize this, so pardon the messy form,,, It's mostly ideas I'm just throwing there. Enjoy! Under the cut because it got l o n g

You see, Emma and Ray arrive to the Paradise Hideout already being pretty much together y'know? They keep acting as partners and they're all extremely affectionate towards each other, but they don't really discuss about it with Norman- hell, their closest friend they had spent one year and eleven months considering dead just turned out to be alive, there's so much to discuss and to catch up with!!! So at first they don't really think about mentioning their relationship to him: for Emma and Ray, it's like having suddenly returned to the happy times of their childhood. Yet, Norman definitely notices they're closer than they where at GF. He is happy for them- he really, genuinely is! They're his best friends, his greatest source of joy, the reason he goes on; he's obviously, sincerely glad they're happy together. But still, deep inside he does feel a little distressed? He's been alone for so long, he didn't want to be cut out of the special bond that used to link the three of them. He obviously already knew things would have never come back to be like they were at GF, yet he couldn't keep himself from mourning how their relationship had been irreparably changed. However, he pushes these feelings aside, not even allowing the thought to take shape in his mind: Emma and Ray are happy, and that's all that matters. That's everything he's been fighting for untill that day, and that's the reason he keeps fighting every day- to give them a bright future where they can be safe and happy. But his unexpressed anxieties are hard to suppress: he fears that things will not be like they where before, that something was lost forever; he fears he is now going to be sidelined in their relationship. He has been crushing on them since he could remember, so it's quite obvious deep down it was a bit upsetting for him to come up with the realization the three of them wouldn't have been together- even though he would have rather died than admit it to himself, or allow it to show. So I like to imagine we are at the end of chapter 121, when the trio is spending some time just the three of them, chatting and playing and forgetting about everything scary or painful. Emma talks and talks, trying catching up Norman on everything: it's almost like she's trying to make the time they've spent apart disappear, rewriting the narrative to make Norman fit in their (terrifying) adventures. She would have probably been overwhelming to any other, but not to Norman, who looked like he was having the best time of his life, never getting his glimmering, adoring eyes off her. Then at some point Emma goes:

Emma: Mmmhh what else... Oh, apparently me and Ray are together now? Dunnot at some point Gillian and the others said that judging from how we acted we where totally together-

Norman: W h a t.

Emma: Ahah I know, crazy right? Obviously you're in as well lol

Norman: W H A T ?

Emma didn't have the time to talk about it with Ray beforehand, but it was ok: for Norman to be included in their relationship felt like such a natural consequence to Norman being alive that they hadn't felt the need to discussing about it at all. Besides, at this point of the story, Emma and Ray are so much on the same page that they don't even need to talk about something to know what each other is thinking.

And you know how Norman is. He was too taken by overthinking everything and reconsidering his life choices, too distracted by his self loathing to even consider Emma and Ray would have asked him to take part of their relationship, no matter how obvious it sounds.

Ok now, I didn't plan this beforehand but PLOT TWIST Norman doesn't accept

He's like "No... I... *Dramatic pause* I can't."

Emma and Ray are sincerely surprised. Emma exclaims: "Why???"

Norman panicks and says: "There's... Another person". There is, in fact, no other person, and he's just making up excuses.

Emma and Ray don't believe him for one second but go along with it basically just to mess up with him

Ray, mockingly: Yeah of course... Wait don't tell me, the mysterious girl with the coral dress is back? [Reference to the first novel]

Norman, flustered: I'M SERIOUS GUYS

The true reason why Norman didn't feel like accepting their proposal is because he's self sacrificing and stuff, and because he believes he's going to die in a year anyway so he doesn't want to make them suffer.

In his head he's probably thinking "I'm sorry Emma... Ray... But I'm taking a path you can not follow... You don't know the horrible things I've done... You deserve better than me..." (Yeah he's just THAT dramatic).

(Ok tho I later realized that this is literally canon:)

Ray, in the meantime, knowing exactly what he's thinking because he just knows him that well (and can relate to his self-sacrificial nature), is like *rolls his eyes*

Ray, telepathically, to Norman: You know you can't escape Emma's love, right?

Honestly the thought of the trio being romantically involved is so funny to me because then the whole conflict for Norman's genocidal tendencies would be like:

Emma, talking to Ray: Ray I love our boyfriend BUT IS HE DUMB, ALWAYS TRYING TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF AAAAAAAAAAHHH SERIOUSLY WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?????

Ray, remembering the times he used to be as sacrificial: *sweats*

I don't have much to add because the rest of canon pretty much does it without me having to change anything ahah. Norman tries to execute his genocide plan, stuff goes wrong, and Emma and Ray manage to talk to him before it's too late. I don't think much of any at all of their conversation from chapter 153 would change.

When this happens, Norman knows they intend both literally and romantically, and, as soon as he accepts, Emma and Ray understand he finally resigned to his feeling and accepted to stay with them forever. That's very sweet actually, this scene makes me soft 🤧🤧🤧 Still one of the best tpn moments ever!!!!

I'm reading the initial ask again and honesty... I'm not sure that's what Anon ment with their ask but I kinda got carried away /////////////

My favorite thing (cough bullshit cough cough) is when fics allude to all this stuff Jason holds against Dick but never go into any specifics. While at the same time having no trouble being detailed about other stuff in the fam's history or Bruce in UTRH, but the sec its Jason bitching at Dick it gets real vague. Jason's like oh you know what I'm talking about or don't think I've forgotten, you dick....but we're supposed to just imagine for ourselves what that is. Incheresting.

Me at all the fic writers who are like “Oh so you think Dick was never a fuckhead to Jason huh, well in this essay I will....”

Like here’s the thing, as I’m always saying:

Fanfic? Inherently transformative. You can do whatever you want with it.

So that means that yes, absolutely, if you want? For whatever reason? You CAN write Jason and Dick having this extensive history of Dick being a jerk to Jason and Jason resenting him because of it.

But.

But but but but but.

You have to like, actually WRITE that.

And that’s the part that people just.....don’t do. Instead they rely on just handwaving into existence a backstory that only exists on their say-so, and expect readers to just accept Dick’s characterization here as fact, even though its literally not based on canon OR based on anything they’ve actually provided in story......

Because even in a transformative medium, you have to actually TRANSFORM something to get from Point A to Point B!

You want Dick’s character to be this callous jerk full of regrets because he came to his epiphany of How Not To Be A Jerk too late in life and his siblings are all like well we don’t really have time for you now, you missed your shot bro?

Cool cool.

But you have to TRANSFORM Dick’s character from what he’s ACTUALLY like in canon TO that figure there, and there’s no actual transformation in any of these stories. They just start with it taken as a given that this is the way Dick already is, and expect everyone to just catch up and get on board, despite the fact that if we were to anthropomorphize their fic and ask “hey Siri-fic, show us how you got Dick from Point A to Point B,” the fic would say no because there’s no work to show. It doesn’t exist.

Instead, what we actually get is a characterization of Dick that to most of his fans honestly doesn’t make any sense, and we’re like, wait, why is Dick like this here, and in response we get fics being like *points to this part of canon, says everything you need to know is right in there* and we’re like no we’ve been to that part of canon, what you’re describing is literally just NOT THERE. So again, still, once more with feeling: wait, why is Dick like this here?

And not to be contentious on main, oh wait lol I don’t care, but like......tbh this is a very cheap and lazy form of storytelling. And I don’t actually feel bad for saying that, sorry not sorry, because I feel like writers in this fandom have long been perfectly happy to run with this sorta thing and then hide behind “cant criticize my story, Im doing this for free” to keep people from commenting on how this is an ummm not great approach to taking characters from canon and transforming them into something else. 

Even though its like.....I don’t really care about your singular story enough TO criticize it, I’m perfectly content to x out of it and move on to the next one, but when so damn many of these stories are relying on the same shortcut without a single one of them actually doing any of the transformative work to justify their take, and over and over we’re just expected to go along with this, its like.....umm yeah, I do actually feel that at a certain point its abundantly relevant to point out that this IS a ginormous fucking trend and the trend itself is absolutely deserving of criticism.

And quite frankly, when fics or headcanons RELY on the expectation that people just nod and smile and shh don’t question it every time they come across a depiction of Dick Grayson as just this total thorn in his family’s side......like, “no” is actually a perfectly valid response to that expectation, lmao. Nobody is owed fans of this character just sucking it up and being like nah, this is fine, as everyone continues to run with this ball all while justifying it with handwaving and vague pointing at an ever moving target whenever somebody’s just like....”I’m not even trying to criticize your fic, I’m just wondering what your take on Dick is based on, because I think we’re looking at two entirely different characters here.”

Because like....we are! Lmao. Yeah, different interpretations are a thing, but when the Dick Grayson in question is foundationally based on formative events that literally don’t exist anywhere BUT in the fic writer’s mind because the writer never actually wrote them into the fic and they don’t actually exist anywhere else.....we are effectively at that point talking about two entirely different characters. And its extremely irritating for those of us who want to talk about the one that’s based on actual canon events to be constantly told we’re doing it wrong and just being referred back to the general collective view of how ‘Dick is bad actually, cuz we say so,’ when pressed for specifics. Like, I’ve literally had people post or comment about ficlets I’ve written that show Dick and Jason getting along pre-ADITF, where people are like “aww this is so much better than canon, would’ve been nice if we could’ve had this instead of Dick being such a jerk to Jason.”

I mean....fahlkfhaklfhaklfhklafhklahfalhaf! Y’know?

This is a meme made by @swtor-legacy-sitcom​ who very kindly tagged me to fill it in, thank you! :D This was super fun, I’ve been in a bit of a writing rutt lately so this was a nice way to sort-of dip my toe back into it :P I TOTALLY forgot this was in my drafts and forgot to schedule it to post, I’m soooo sorry it took so long lmao 😳😬

I’m not sure if we’re supposed to tag other people with this one so I’ll just leave a general, open tag here: if you have a Lana ship and want to fill this one out, feel free to yoink the meme and say I tagged you! Yes, I promise I mean you <3

Spoilers for KOTFE/KOTET, and slight spoilers for the Subterfugeverse “version” of said events, will be discussed below, so be aware of that before proceeding! There’s also some midlly nsfw questions so you might wanna skip those if they’re not your thing! :D Under a cut because it’s long, but no trigger warnings need apply.

Is Lana Beniko absolutely done with their shit?

Oh yes, absolutely. Nearly always. At any given time, BUT Lana wouldn’t have it any other way. Saarai may be a reckless, overly-heroic idiot with seemingly no self-preservation, but she’s Lana’s reckless, overly-heroic idiot, ya know :’D

Do they make jokes together?

Fairly often, yes! Theirs is very much a flirty/fond banter type of relationship. Lana tells her she’s insufferable, Saarai rolls her eyes and snarks back, so on. See:

Saarai: Well this was a stupid idea Lana: Considering it was one of yours, I’m not surprised Saarai: Why didn’t you say something? Lana: I did and you did it anyway. And what have we learnt from this? Saarai, quietly: I’m a dumbass and I should listen to you more.... Lana: Good. I still love you, though. Saarai: :’D

Lana, two minutes later: You’re going to do it again, aren’t you? Saarai: Yeah, probably.

as well as that little cutscene “You’d better come back blah blah blah” “Well I have you to rescue me, that’s all I need~” is their default pre-dangerous battle banter :P

Who’s hornier? (who initiates)

Saarai is definitely hornier, and while she’s not always the one to initiate, she’s definitely the one to ask more often. (if I had to give it a number, prolly something like 65/45 lol) One of these days, Lana’s going to buy a spray bottle /jk

Kinkiest they’ve been?

Not awfully. Saarai’s a biter (Lana likes it, don’t worry 😏) and she loves it when Lana pulls her hair, but other than that, and making use of connections within the Force to heighten the sensations during such activities ;) they’re pretty vanilla

There was a post going around a while back about an alternative to a praise kink that was like, a “reassurance” kink, instead. I can’t find the actual post to link to it and I haven’t pinned down any specifics for them yet but I definitely think that’s a Saarai thing to look into later 😏

Has Lana ever covered up something your OC did as Minister of Intelligence?

In a roundabout way, yes. Technically, Saarai’s entire existence on Rishii. Since, teeechhnically, as far as the Empire’s concerned at that point, Rai’s supposed to be dead. Lana doesn’t know the technicalities of why that is (and Saarai isn’t comfortable telling her, even now), but she knows it’s important, so she does it for her even if she doesn’t know why.

Favorite non sexual downtime activity?

Cuddles! Saarai is a cuddlebug, and while Lana enjoys them she’s definitely not the “if I don’t get cuddled x times a day I can’t go on” type (in my headcanon, ofc, I’m not saying she can never be that way!) but, Saarai’s also very warm and cuddling her is cozy, so it’s something they both enjoy, whether Rai’s the big spoon, or - and this is Rai’s favourite thing ever - Saarai putting her head in Lana’s lap so Lana can play with her hair, it’s something they always do at the end of the day when they’re both done with work.

Mushiest thing Your OC has ever done for Lana?

So, I’m too impatient & lazy to do the actual HK missions in-game, but I know you can technically get another HK unit, so because ✨it’s my fanfic and I get to make the rules✨ Saarai sent Aria (my DS! Jedi Shadow, very good at stealth) back to Zakuul and though it was a bit battered up, she managed to retrieve HK’s processor. They had to get him a new chassis, but Koth and Ty managed to salvage the rest of his “important” bits and they rebuilt HK for her after they settled on Odessen :’3

Most Embarrassed Lana has ever been because of your OC?

In the middle of an important meeting, in front of everyone on the Alliance High Council, including Theron, Senya, Ni’kasi, Vano, etc.

Lana, sarcastically, after they’ve been disagreeing on how to handle a particular matter for ~1 hr: hahaha bite me.

Saarai, dead serious: Okay, where? 😏

That thing that happened that they vow to NEVER speak of?

Saarai’s reaction when they went to Nathema. Rai’s psychometric, and in hindsight she realises putting her hand on that wall as she ducked into the building was a mistake. She was bombarded with flashback after flashback of what had happened on Nathema when it was still Medriaas, the planet where she was born and where most of her family died, it was not a pleasant experience for her and Rai actually collapsed at one stage because it was all too much for her ;w;

Lana had to bring her back around and herd her back on the ship, where Rai had to wait because she just couldn’t go any further, and Lana and Vano had to go on alone. Lana agreed not to tell anyone else about what had happened, because Saarai didn’t want any of them to worry about her, or think she was “weak” because of it.

The Angriest they’ve ever been at each other?

There’s actually two instances that come to mind for this one

1) Koth’s betrayal/stealing of the Gravestone, Lana was pissed at Koth and wanted to take it out on him, Saarai was pissed at the situation and got between them and chewed Lana out for taking it out on him. (Subterfugeverse is kinda complicated, there’s two Commanders calling the shots for different parts of the Alliance, Koth took issue with something Vano did and made the reckless, kinda stupid decision to still steal the Gravestone even tho Saarai didn’t do anything. (also for anyone new to the blog, all three of them are dating, they’re polyam ;)) Lana took it personally, Saarai was more upset that he was upset and didn’t say anything before he did something stupid. Rai and Lana butted heads about how to deal with it, Lana got salty cause she got yelled at, but they ofc fix it later :3)

2) Torian’s death. Saarai had tried to warn Lana what would happen if they split Vette & Torian up during that fight, Lana brushed it off and told Rai to “stop overreacting, it will be fine”. Obviously, it was not fine. Rai was very angry at the result because, I quote, “I WARNED YOU! And you wouldn’t listen to me!” Saarai refused to speak to Lana for a few days after that, it was kinda a rough time for Lana, she’s only seen Rai get that angry a few times, and only once at her so it shook her a bit. 😢

How does both Lana, and your OC initiate the ‘fade to black’ ;)

For Saarai, the “indicator” is usually when her kisses start to become 50/50 between kissing and biting/nibbling. That’s the universal “ok I want to” signal for Rai. Usually very quickly followed by a soft “yes?” or “are you sure?”, either against her skin or into her ear, depending on where she’s kissing at the time; because she’ll always check first, and if Lana says “no”, it’s off, because Lana’s consent is more important than any of her feelings.

For Lana, it’s when she’ll let Rai pick her up and/or usually to pin her to a wall. There’s a decent height difference, Saarai’s 6 ft 3, and I headcanon that while Lana’s not necessarily “short” at around 5 ft 8, she’s considerably smaller than Rai, as well as being more “reserved” with PDA, she’ll hold hands, or kiss her on the cheek etc. in front of other people, but otherwise Lana tries to keep somewhat “professional” while they’re at work. So when she starts climbing her like a tree, Rai knows she’s about to get some. XD

Do they have kids?

Kiiiinddd of? It’s complicated. Saarai has a son, Ty, from a previous relationship. Lana & Koth both sort of step up to help co-parent, but since Sith Purebloods age differently (i.e. they’re adults at ~20ish the same as humans, but after that they’re more like elves and their physical aging slows down, so they’re more long-lived), even though Ty’s very young by Pureblood standards, he’s still 60 years old, so he’s technically older than Lana and it’s kind of awkward for him to actually call her mom even if she kind of acts like one. He accidentally called her “mom” once, it was very awkward for both of them XD

What has been the most protective Lana has ever had of said kid?

I sat and scratched my head for ages trying to think of something to answer this question with, but I’m very sad to say that right now at the time of answering this meme, I don’t have any specific scenes planned out to tell you about! :( But rest assured that Lana absolutely would rush to help Ty if it was ever necessary :D

House pets? Is your Lana a dog person, or Cat person?

Funnily enough, they don’t actually have any pets! I’d like to think of Lana as more of a cat person than a dog person, in my personal opinion. But they have yet to get any pets of their own, maybeee later on, I dunno. Haven’t hit on any solid ideas for them yet, but I feel like if they happened upon a cute kitty they definitely could adopt one at some stage :’3

Do they get freaky on the Alliance Base or in the Shuttles?

They’ve done both, to be honest lol. Thankfully, Saarai’s sneaky enough that they haven’t gotten caught doing it, yet. Thank the Force.

Are their Sparring Matches Flirtatious? Hardcore?

They could go either way, it depends on what kind of mood they’re both in. If Lana’s particularly annoyed (usually not at Rai, but sometimes) then it’s more likely to be a hardcore spar, Rai’s a pretty tough cookie so she’ll often offer to be Lana’s punching bag in order to spare them some repair bills so she doesn’t rip apart the training dummies irrepairably, it’s okay, Rai can take it ;)

But if they’re both in an otherwise good mood and are just sparring for practise sakes, then yes, they often very quickly devolve into flirtacious banter and some of the classics, you know, “okay you win, you can let me go now” “mmm, nah” “I thought we were sparring” “do you want me to stop” “...don’t you dare.” etc. :’D

Class Specific things that play into their relationship?

Saarai’s a Juggernaut, and I headcanon Lana’s probably some sort of Sorcerer, so they tend to fight as such. They cover each other in more ways than one, if you want to get to Lana you have to go through Saarai first (and good luck to you, that woman can take and give a fucking beating lmao). Lana picks off whatever Saarai’s saber misses, usually with Force attacks but sometimes with her saber, too. Saarai takes bullets for Lana so Lana doesn’t have to get hurt. Lana yells at Rai for doing that and then fixes her up with Force healing afterwards, rinse and repeat. :’D

When they do argue, Lana tends to spontaneously manifest Force lightning, Saarai’s used to it and doesn’t bat an eyelid, she knows Lana’s not actually going to throw it at her and she’s more than prepared to dodge any stray bolts that do come her way.

Lana’s the tactician and the ground support, Saarai’s the battering ram/the bigass hammer used to clear space when Lana needs a bit of extra “oomph” (and trust me, they’re usually never far apart. The other one will be there and then you’ll be in trouble lmao)

Describe a time your OC went ‘Full beast mode’ to protect Lana, instead of the other way around?

"Kriff. Koth, what happened?” Three words was all it took, and everything made sense: “They hurt Lana.”

That scene in the Endless Swamps on Zakuul, just before they pull the Gravestone out of it and Lana and the Commander get ambushed. Saarai went with Lana & Koth to break Vano out of carbonite (since Saarai was still on Rishii at the time, she doesn’t get frozen, only Vano) so when they split up, Saarai goes with Koth to look for ship parts while Vano goes with Lana to look for water.

Lana and Vano get ambushed by the Knights/Skytroopers, and Lana’s hand gets busted. It takes Saarai and Koth a little while to rush over there to help them, but when they do

Saarai. Goes. Fucking. Feral. It’s the scariest she’s ever been in front of Lana and Lana will never forget it, they almost didn’t really need Senya’s help for that part, Saarai basically had it covered. I imagine Lana later described it as “kind of hot, but also kind of terrifying, actually”

Saarai’s considered Chaotic Good, so generally speaking if there’s a peaceful, non-violent solution to a problem, she’ll opt for that, but she has a few buttons that you just do not want to push, ever. And hurting her partners is one of those buttons. She will go apeshit and that’s exactly what happened in the swamp lmao

Little things couples do to annoy each other. What does Lana do? What does your OC do?

Saarai likes to wake up early and hide Lana’s kaf mug in increasingly ridiculous places. Once, she even got Koth to help her stick it to the top of the Gravestone’s hull. It took Lana half the morning to find it, Lana was not amused. XD

Saarai and Koth also have an ongoing “terrible puns” contest where they basically see who can annoy Lana with the most ridiculous puns possible, see this post for an example :P Lana wonders where/how they keep coming up with these puns, she really does.

Does Lana get jealous in your headcanon?

Not really! In Subterfugeverse, both Rai and Lana are polyam, so generally speaking, jealousy isn’t a problem for them, and when it is it’s more of a case of “hey. Hey. Hey, I’m not getting enough attention, pay attention to me.” and then it’s usually dealt with and all is well ;)

When Lana meets Anri, the only thing Saarai does is tease her about “when she’s going to make the move”. 😜

Story that is prominent in their relationship?

I was gonna draw a little doodle for this but the poses kept not coming out right so I gave up, sorryyy qAq

I haven’t gotten very far into planning the SoR onwards+ segments of Subterfugeverse, just bits and bobs like this, but I’d say for now the most prominent is probably their first meeting on Rishii. Basically, meet-cute but with a lightsaber involved too hahaha. There was a lot of posturing and flirty subtext right from the get-go with these two, even if Saarai was particularly suspicious at first (see the earlier question about her being technically dead to the Empire). At first, when she noticed Lana tailing Ty (because Lana was extremely confused about why a Pureblood was so far from Sith space ;)), Saarai assumed that something had happened to her twin and the Empire had A) found out she and Ty were still alive and B) Sent Lana to track them down and kill them for good. Several tension-loaded hours later and Lana managed to convince Rai that actually, Ni’kasi was fine and speaking of, she was trying to avoid being killed too so maybe, actually, they could help each other. And that was all she wrote <3

The Contract was my first Mando fic ever and is my most popular (notes wise) to this day, which is so??? idk i cant find words I really was touched that people liked it so much

Highway Man (biker!mando au) is not my most popular fic notes wise BUT it is the fic i get the most interaction with and thats just as satisfying tbh. to see you guys enjoying it, making art and crafts inspired by it, coming to me with headcanons and ideas AND the commentary for every chapter really makes me so happy and passionate to give you guys more. 

Is your funniest?

I am convinced I’m not that funny BUT i will say Part 7 of Highway Man (spoiler alert ? lol) when Din has a naked socialite strapped to his back via bondage restraints is something that made me laugh out loud when i wrote it. 

Is your darkest/angstiest?

as of right now Slow Dance is the angstiest? I need to work on my angst and dark aspects of my fics, i’m very much afraid to write anything like that because its a weak point for me i think.

Is your absolute favorite?

it changes obviously, but right now Biker!Mando au hands down. 

Is your least favorite?

Sway My Way. It was my first time writing reader-insert fanfic. I adapted the story from an OC x Poe fic I was writing and I think the story is there but I dont think i adapted it well lmao

Was the easiest to write?

Highway Man -- Biker!Mando came upon me suddenly and without mercy lol I have so much worldbuilding in my head that isnt even in the story yet and so many scenarios i want to write them all in. 

Was the hardest to write?

The Leap. It’s part of the contract series, a “how they got together” thing and tbh fitting the entirety of a relationship that i started writing at their marriage and working backwards into a single fic was so fucking hard.

from the second part of Biker!Mando i just love how they interact with each other.

Whoever the hell this person was, he was lucky he was holding a sleeping kid. You were close to snapping. “No one will hire him, everyone in town knows he’s in trouble with the Mandos. No one wants to risk it with him,” you said quickly, “I’m just giving him a chance to prove to people that he can get his act together.”

“Can he?”

Your fists clenched and you took a deep breath, “move, please,” you said quietly.

With a strange sort of lazy swagger in his movement, he pushed off the car and moved only slightly away from your door. You could get in, but not without passing close by to him. If you were honest with yourself, part of you was still intimidated by his presence. He hadn’t tried to hurt you, hell, he didn’t even raise his voice at you once. It was the fact that he knew so much of your family’s business and you had no idea what his name was or what he looked like that made you uneasy. You had no idea what him and the rest of the Mando’s were really capable of.

Finding your courage you moved past him, unlocking and opening the door. After climbing in you heard him speak before you closed the door.

“See you around.”

Biker!Mando -- keeping track of a series like this means i have to go back and reread to make sure im not repeating myself or forgetting little tidbits of foreshadowing

Would you recommend to someone reading your work for the first time?

The Opia Series (the contract, the leap and the game). It’s probably some of my most decent work and I think that it really kind of prepares you for my style of writing.

Are you most proud of?

Biker!Mando. I’ve never stuck with an idea this long or planned ahead as well as i have for this fic.

What do you think Taylor would think of Dianna’s New York friends and Vice versa?

i mean it’s hard to know...but fun to theorize on (read: write fanfic about) so thanks for the ask!

i feel like the NYC crew makes fun of dianna about swiftgron and sings shake it off to her whenever they want to annoy her and whenever a Taylor song comes on in Saks Fifth Avenue or wherever they’re shopping that day, they all sing it and dance around her and they also incessantly request/put on famous by Kanye to get her to sing the line “i feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” 

Tay is a bit younger than the NYC crew (i think...i’m not actually 100 percent sure i’m too lazy to find Selby or molly or tracy’s bday, Megalyn is 37, Olivia Wilde is 36, and Tay is 3.5 years younger than dianna soooo) it seems like they would not have had all that in common for a while (tho in your thirties it doesn’t make that much of a difference)

Taylor is also eons more famous/wealthy/powerful than the blondeterage who are more middling socialites with mildly famous husbands and one friend who hasn’t been famous since 2013 lmao so it seems like they wouldn’t relate that much to Taylor’s lifestyle and they all like “hipster/indy” music so it’s not hard to imagine them being derisive about pop (tho surely they respect Tay’s hustle/power like...who doesn’t?)

Taylor also seems a bit idealistic (even still!) while the NYC crew seems to be a bit sarcastic, taking very little all that seriously (tho this is just the vibe we get from social media like...this is all just fanfic let’s be real) so it seems like Taylor’s perspective and outlook on life, in general, is different than Dianna’s friends.

However, dianna’s persona, though seeming to become a bit more jaded with age, still seems to be similarly idealistic, fanciful, and artsy just like Tay’s.  dianna seems to be the exception to the personalities of the NYC girls (which is probably why they adore her so much, she seems like a positive ray of sunshine to balance out a bit of her friend group’s general snarky/witty vibes.)

at some point, years ago, molly and someone else (maybe Selby or Tracy?) went on insta live and people started asking about achele and molly got pissed and ended the live session (no receipt i just read about it on Tumblr) so it seems she’s defensive of dianna’s personal life which is commendable and sweet.

i LAUGH about the idea of dianna and the blondeterage being in nyc when the lover promo happened with all those huge billboards and the entire page of the new york times being taken up, and them trolling her and just being like “YO YOUR EX BITCH IS SOOOO FUCKING EXTRA DIANNA TELL HER TO CALM TF DOWN” and dianna just being like 🤦‍♀️.  that’s like our fave blondterage headcanon.

F - The fandom for that would be Naruto. If I remember correctly the first fanfic I read was for Naruto and that was probably when I was like, 10 or 11 I think. Couldve been younger tho?? It's always hard to remember specific things that far back, lol. And I'm still in it now as you can tell, so that's likely around 11 years and still going. I'm not leaving and no one can make me leave!! 😂

I - Does stop liking imply having liked it all??? Idk, if it doesn't then who cares. This is probably the closest I've got that I can think of anyway. So, you know how some media attracts the same group of people so you've got some fandoms being filled with the same people that almost all like the same two or three or so pieces of media? The Servamp fandom is very chummy with and shares many people with both the Haikyuu and Bungou no Stray Dogs fandoms. I don't care for Haikyuu at all and I'm kinda interested in BSD, but not enough to bother getting into it. So so, back before Tumblr mobile could let you filter tags like it can now, since I followed a lot of Servamp blogs, I had to see a lot of Haikyuu. And except for a few small exceptions, I generally hate sports animes. A new season either started or was ending and I was forced to see so much fucking Haikyuu. Oh my god, so much Haikyuu. And I hated it. Ya know like the more you see something you don't care for the more annoying it slowly becomes? Well, for some people. So I just loathe seeing anything even remotely Haikyuu related now. No offensive to the show, but there's just an association there in my head now cuz I didn't wanna unfollow my Servamp mutuals for it, but I couldn't stop seeing it then either. So in a way, both the Haikyuu and Servamp fandom on Tumblr ruined Haikyuu for me before it even had a chance. Now thankfully I can have it filtered, and the reason I mentioned BSD at all is cuz the same thing almost started happening with that too, but then I could also filter that so now it won't get ruined for me in case I ever do decide to check it out.

O - Maybe not random cuz I've been looking for a chance to bring it up forever now, but Drive By(too lazy to look up by who) has always and will always remind me of Flint x Volkner(also too lazy to look up the ship name lol) cuz I used to be addicted to that song and was really into that ship at the time so that's all I thought about while listening to it. I don't even remember what specifically I would think about with them, but knowing me probably an AU scenario that I've long since forgotten, lol.

T - FUCKING THANK YOU LUA! People can pry 1/4th Australian Aboriginal Jim from my cold dead hands, holy FUCK!!! I don't care if I'm seeing things that aren't there, Jim is part Aboriginal to me and I will die on this fucking hill. I will!!! Also, homeschooled O'Brien. Y - Uuuuhhh, not sure how much counts as what, lol. Mmmm, perhaps cuz of the Servamp fandom I know a few things about BSD despite, as mentioned, me never actually partaking in it myself. Oh, oh, oh and also She-Ra. Definitely seen enough of that all over Tumblr to have some small opinions and know the overall plot and enjoy some fanart despite never watching it either. And before I started watching it myself, Atla also qualified, altho I watched most of Korra, but I don't see that nearly as much as the original series. And if series within series count then Yugioh Zexal as well, since I've never watched more than the first episode in English and the first manga volume, but I know plenty of the plot(even if the more I find out the more confused it makes me, lol).

SEANS REPLY: I think the main issue with who gets more attention than others isn’t always down to talent or the time taken to put into a piece of work. It’s how digestible it is. In social media culture it’s all about how much you can consume in the shortest amount of time and sadly writing isn’t conducive to that. It’s the same reason that memes get upvoted more and passed around more because it’s quick, easily digested and shared content that’s part of a specific joke that people like to feel a part of. Fanart is also quick and easy to to consume and pass along from a user perspective. I’m not saying people should stop writing, or editing or giffing etc. please keep doing all of those things because it’s  a great creative outlet for that side of you. Just please don’t let low note counts or reblogs reflect on you as a person and make you feel bad. People just consume different types of media very differently. Let me just translate what he REALLY means. I think the main issue with who gets more attention than others isn’t always down to talent or the time taken to put into a piece of work. It’s about how much time I am willing to spend on it. In MY social media culture it’s all about how much I can reblog my mutuals in a short amount of time because I’m afraid to linger around on tumblr much longer because of tea blogs. Sadly I have no time to read a full fanfic and let people know I enjoy the content OR perhaps I am silently copying all your headcanons for my personal use in ego content for the future OR perhaps I am very uncomfortable with fanfictions ( especially gay ships since I have said in the past I don’t like to be gay shipped lmao casual homophobia am I right?) It’s the same reason that memes get upvoted more and passed around more because I don’t care for artists or writers and I only share content that’s part of repeatable and non-funny jokes that only my mutuals create, because secretly I don’t give a shit about  talent and I prefer dumb jokes over beautiful art and gifs.. No matter how much people complain.. Fanart is also quick and easy to consume and pass along from my lazy perspective ( again mutuals and popular blogs only! ) I’m not saying that people should stop writing, editing or giffing, I am just saying I am too damn lazy to sit through it all and I am too damn scared to be on tumblr for a long amount of time because of uwu tea blogs hurt me. 3. Favourite thing to write? Well, I’m not sure. Mostly I just like found family type stories, or elaborate nonsense. (As you may have noticed, all my stories are nonsensical bs lmaooo).

6. Where do you usually find inspiration? My bed, or the shower, inconvenient times. Sometimes it will be music, or a weird what-if. But you can blame the lovely @grezzirossi for a lot of my fics, as they tend to come out of weird conversations and headcanon building we do in chat. 7.  Do you listen to music to help you write? Sometimes. I mean, sometimes you need a certain kind of music to help you think. Sometimes you need the background noise of youtube etc.

8.  What’s the biggest “challenge” for you as a writer? ...writing.

12.  What’s your favorite thing that you ever wrote? I’m not sure, I really like a few of mine. Mostly because there was one killer pun or joke in there the whole fic was based around. Maybe ‘Spy Is My...’ it’s not even good, but I remember how i felt when the headcanon came to life. 

14.  What’s your favorite character/person to write for? I love Scout from Team Fortress 2, but all the mercs really. They’re all unique and ridiculous and an excellent mass murdering found family.

Not sure if it counts but like, in grade 2 I wrote a harry potter fanfic with no idea of what fanfic was. Just a creative writing/short story thing, which apparently meant ‘me and best friend at time meet harry potter and fight vampires, and save people from vampires then go to hogwarts’.  Also wrote a version of ‘the chicken who made bread’ that was like, ‘the pale blue unicorn made barley sugars’ in the same grade.

But proper fanfic? I can’t recall the exact moment... but it also involved harry potter and fanfiction.net. And I would rather die than relieve that terrible mess. Gods I thought I was SO GOOD and now it’s so YIKES. Lmao.

30.  What would you say it’s the most “famous” fic you’ve ever written? Not sure... I don’t think any are really that well known?

34.  What’s your favorite font to use when writing? The default. It legit never occurred to me to change it.

35.  Which do you prefer to write: longer or shorter fics? I tend to aim for shorter and always get longer. I aim for longer, and never finish them because I am a disaster of a human being.

Not good at describing certain things, like kissing or postures or whatever. Feels like I’m often repetitive. I dunno, it just feels repetitive, I guess? Often., even.  Also lack of time and motivation to write, after work, where constant typing is a Thing.

43.  Have you ever cried or felt any emotion while reading something you wrote? Yes. Also occasionally blindside myself with dumb jokes i’ve hidden in the fics. AS if my brain erased their existence after I typed them out, so it’s Always Fucking Funny when I read them.

That it can hold shitty canon at knifepoint and demand a better ending. That there is no real limit to the whole thing... you want to rewrite Lord of hte Rings in space? Fucking GO FOR IT. 

47.  What’s your favorite thing about writing? It feels like painting with words? Just getting lost in the story in your head, realising character A was holding a sandwich three paragraphs ago and now its a gun so you have to swear and find a part to slide in where they switched it, etc. lmao.

50.  One thing you don’t like about fanfiction.

People who are like Super Into inc*st, p*doph*lia and r*pe fics, but get defensive when people are like The fUck? Or people who ship REal Life Actual People, and get weird, or even frightening about the whole “Well these two actual human beings MUST be together so I will send death threats to their real life partners” thing. 

Also what the FUCK was with the wattpad fic phase where everyone’s mothers were selling them to 1Direction. Lmaoooo.

51.  Least favorite trope? Violently out of character fics. Where it’s straight up, ‘author has removed their personalities and added in generic uke/seme personalities from like 2009 or some shit’. And everyone’s acting super weird. (M/m and f/f/ and m/f fics alike). 

Very frustrating. Just... learn about the character, use it, it makes things way more fun to write and read. 

Also A/B/O. It’s weird, lads. I love Teen Wolf but some of you got WEIRD Weird.

legally im not allowed to kin but i gotta say i got mad vibes from d.mon and am thus far projecting all my personality onto her and making a few dvamon headcanons including but not limited to

- i feel like they may have randomly met online and developed this friendly rivalry after the two kept murdering each other in-game for like 10 consecutive matches, which would eventually lead to them playing together competitively and deciding to get matching handles for the sake of it (which is a bit of an alteration of this headcanon where that’s what they called eachother in-game when they got mad)

- yuna is really loud and boisterous probably to overcompensate the fact that she’s 5′1 and hana would comment on that whenever yuna got particularly pissed off at the results of a match

- before they met in person hana would get annoyed that she only played with yuna every 2 days or so because the woman seemed to disappear for days on end and then, whenever she’d log on she’d just reply with ‘lmao hi sorry, was sleeping’ (d.va: jesus christ, is all u do sleep?? d.mon: most of the time)

- eventually, after they joined the same esports team and moved in with the rest of the crew in some whatever apartment, yuna didn’t give them the best first impression because the first few weeks they only barely saw her for scrimmages and the rest of the time it felt like she was always sleeping (a fact hana was already aware about)

- despite this, she still maintained an amazing level of skill when she played with them and managed to keep up with her other responsibilities so she got came off looking like an effortlessly funtional lazy bastard to the rest of the team and, eventually, to their evergrowing fanbase (which she very much enjoyed and hana was very much annoyed at) 

- the few times they’d see yuna awake when she wasn’t scrimmaging with them she was either out in the kitchen getting food and, after some small talk with whoever was in the kitchen at the same time, immediately going back into her room 

- what puzzled everyone was how, during these brief conversations, she would talk about tv shows and other games and things that had happened to her within a time frame that none of them thought made any sense if all she ever did was sleep, so they started joking that she was a vampire and actually stayed up all night,,, which, wasn’t exactly super wrong

- she’s not a vampire obviously, but, eventually, after a particular asynchronous week during which hana barely saw yuna, she went into her room to confront her about it and found out that yuna’s sleep schedule is fucked up ten ways till sunday

- she tells hana that she naturally stays awake for 36-48 hours at a time and then passes out for 12-24hrs (d.va: what kind of fucked up circadian rhythm is that???) which is what caused so much asynchronicity between her and the rest of the actual normal human beings that lived with her 

- she also explains that during that time she’s awake that’s when she’s doing all the same shit they’d be doing when they were awake, and that she actually puts in a lot of effort into keeping up her skill, staying online for 20hrs a time, but she asks hana not to tell the rest of the team because she liked pretending like it was an effortless skill

- before hana can address anything else, she asks yuna why the fuck does she sleep like that and yuna gives her a heartfelt answer that

- when she used to sleep regular human hours, her anxiety over what she’d have to do the next day would keep her up at night and leave her unable to sleep right, which ended up leaving her super tired during the day because she would always sleep less than she wanted to 

- she eventually found out that, if she stayed awake for long enough, she could still function pretty well and, afterwards, instead of lying awake in bed for 2-3 hours a night, her body would be so physically exhausted that she’d just drift off to sleep ‘its like a hard reset’ 

- hana is completely thrown off by every single word yuna is saying, 20% because she thought the night owl rumours would be just partially true (which well, technically they were, in a crazy ass way), and 80% because she was completely wrong about the kind of work ethic that yuna had (ie. that she actually had one and wasn’t a lazy bastard) and the kind of person she was, which completely changes her perspective on yuna

- she asks yuna why she wouldn’t want the others to know about it and yuna replies with something like ‘well, ‘i know its not an ideal sleep pattern but i’d rather they just keep thinking i’m lazy cos people don’t try to change lazy if the lazy is getting results’ and dva is like ‘you realize now that it is my legal obligation to badger you into synchronizing your schedule with mine, right’ 

- what ends up happening is quite the opposite, with hana partially (and secretly, to everyone but yuna) screwing up her sleep schedule to try and stay awake with yuna because haha hey guess what, she totally doesn’t want to spend every waking moment with this crazy girl

- the team manager and the rest of the team notices an intense decrease in hana’s performance in the scrimmages, which frustrates yuna to no end because she’s like ‘god i also want to be around this dumbass all the time but my schedule is screwing her over’

- because of this, the manager implements some changes and yuna starts to notice that eventually people do want to change lazy and that because of her effortless talent façade, the manager starts to expect more from her because she wants to see her ‘put in some actual effort’

- and this is where hana has to stage an intervention and be like ‘dude, you can’t keep hiding this from people anymore, you’re letting them put way too many expectations on your shoulders!!’, which ends up becoming a double intervention and somewhere along the way ends up with ‘hey, yuna... do you think it would help you sleep better if i was there with you?’ 

anyways folks this is getting long i could write a fanfic about this entire concept but it’s too much effort hmu if anyone actually reads this and wants a continuation

#30: a kiss as comfort 

Yusei was not used to Akiza waking up before him, but there was a first time for everything. 

His alarm had awoken him, making him groan and roll over, feeling on the top to hit the snooze button, rolling back over, left arm searching for Akiza, wanting to bring her back against his chest and bury his face in her hair. When his arm found only an empty bed, his eyes opened a crack, looking around the dim room for her. Empty. She must’ve gone to the kitchen, which was a huge disappointment–he had another few minutes before he had to actually get up and put his work uniform on, and he would much rather spend it cuddling with his girlfriend than laying in bed alone. 

He should go down and see her, maybe spend a few minutes on the couch together before he had to leave. Pushing himself up and rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes, the cold air of the room made him shiver, another incentive to find Akiza, warm up. 

Turning off his alarm so it wouldn’t shake the apartment, he left the bedroom. The smell of coffee greeted him, his eyes adjusting to the lights of the kitchen. His girlfriend was standing in the kitchen, staring out the window with her coffee in her hands, fully dressed and made up, her bangs braided in a crown around her head. 

That was strange. Akiza usually rolled out of bed in her nightgown. She must’ve been up a while, extricated herself from Yusei’s hold without waking him, a feat considering that he was a light sleeper. 

“Good morning, handsome,” she looked over her shoulder as he approached, lifting the steaming cup to her lips. 

“Morning,” he slid his arms around her waist, her knit cardigan warm against his bare chest and arms. 

The scene outside wasn’t terribly interesting, but Akiza was staring at the grey, cloudy buildings with such intensity Yusei wondered if he was missing something. She was tense, he could feel that from where his head rested on her shoulder, the way she was audibly swallowing, her breathing faster than normal. When he’d come in last night she’d still been awake, hunched over her laptop with her reading glasses holding her bangs back, chewing on her nails. Yusei didn’t look to see what she was doing, had only shut the computer and picked her up, teasing her for turning into a night owl like him. 

Something was bothering her, he could tell. “Missed you when I woke up, Kiki,” 

A soft laugh, a sip of coffee. “I can tell you’re not awake,” 

“Haven’t had my coffee,” he laid his hand over hers, bringing her cup to his mouth and taking a sip. She liked her coffee less sweet than he did, tipping only a bit of creamer into it. 

“You only call me Kiki when you’re half asleep,” 

“Hm, maybe I’ll have to call you that more so I won’t be so easy to read,” Yusei said. 

“I’ll have to get a nickname for you,” she said. 

“You call me handsome,” 

“That’s not a nickname, that’s an adjective,” she turned around. He loosened his hold to let her. “Even if it is true, it doesn’t count,” 

The cup between them radiated heat onto Yusei’s skin, not as warm as when Akiza had been pressed against him, but at least this way it was easier to steal the cup from her hands and drink from it. She rolled her eyes and laughed, told him to get his own cup, there was plenty left in the pot, and from the multiple coffee filters he could see in the trash can, it wasn’t the first of the morning. 

“Been awake a while?” he asked. 

She shrugged, eyes not meeting his, staring over his shoulder, anon-answer that only affirmed his feelings that something was bothering her. Nails drummed against the cup for a moment, soon back in her mouth, a habit that Carly often ragged on her about, forcibly removing her hand. Yusei closed his hand around her wrist, ignoring her annoyed glance as he kissed the back of her hand. 

“What’s wrong?” 

“Nothing. I’m just tired,” 

“You wouldn’t be so tired if you didn’t get up so early,” he teased. 

“I couldn’t sleep,” she sighed, finally meeting his eyes. Beneath the makeup he could see a tinge of purple, her normally bright eyes red and dull. Lack of sleep was an understatement if he’d ever heard one. “Got up, got some work done,” 

“How long was that?” 

“Yusei,” she muttered, moving out of his embrace to top off her coffee. “It doesn’t matter. Don’t you have work to go to?” 

“They can manage without me for a few minutes, Kiki,” he leaned against the counter, watching her move to the fridge. “Unless you want me to leave,” 

“No, Yusei–I’m sorry,” her shoulders fell. “You don’t–don’t go,” 

He watched as she stood on her tiptoes, reaching into the cabinet to retrieve a second cup. Normally he’d reach over her back and tease her about being short, but this didn’t seem like the time. Yusei Fudo would never list one of his strengths as “bedside manner,” but seeing Akiza so worked up–well her quiet, unassuming way of being upset that had developed in recent years. He’d seen her cry, scream, but that was different, over her childhood, and it seemed that after that had passed she had decided to suppress, compartmentalize. He had no interest in forcing the floodgates open, knew she wouldn’t appreciate that, but–but it was eating at him to not say anything. 

Akiza was in front of him, handing him coffee. “Time for you to wake up,” 

“Thank you,” 

She leaned against the counter next to him, laying her head on his shoulder, tracing the rim of the cup with her finger. Her hair was soft against his bare skin, tickling the slightest bit as she moved, her breath blowing across his chest. He looked down, wishing her hair was down so he could run his fingers through it but settling for an arm around her shoulders. 

“‘kiza,” he laid his cheek on her head. “What’s going on?” 

A sigh, a shake of her head, tickling his cheek. “It’s really nothing,” 

“C’mon, you can tell me,” he tightened his hold on her, running his hand up and down her upper arm, anything to make her feel comfortable enough to open up. 

“Don’t wanna bother you,” 

“You won’t be,” he insisted, putting the coffee she’d made down on the counter, grasping both of her shoulders. She looked up at him through her lashes, lip between her teeth, anxiety radiating off of her. “Something at school?” 

“No–yes, I mean,” she sighed, making the motion for pushing her bangs behind her ears out of habit–adorable, especially the blush afterwards when she realized she had nothing to brush back. “There’s, there’s this–I have a class today,” 

“It’s,” he waited for his brain cells to produce the day of the week. “It’s Wednesday, you’ve got three today,” 

“I forgot you memorize my schedule,” a laugh, a genuine one, a bit of a smile. “I think it’s cute,” 

“Don’t you change the subject,” he felt a smile coming on to his own face. “Which one is it?” 

“Postcolonial lit,” she said. 

“Should I pretend I know what that is?”

“I’ll read it to you sometime,” she offered. “I think you’d enjoy it,” 

Yusei would have to take her up on that later. Listening to Akiza’s voice, the way she change her voices for the different characters, the way she’d stop in the middle of the sentence–it was the closest thing he’d come to a religious experience, and it’d been a while since he’d listened to her read. But right now he could tell she was deflecting. “You got a paper due today? Didn’t read?” 

“Me? Not read?” she gasped. “Of course I read. I’m not going into debt for nothing,” 

“Then what is it, Kiki?” he asked. 

“You’re just calling me that to butter me up,” 

“Is it working?” 

She looked thoughtful for a moment. “Yeah, it is.” She sighed, looking down at her coffee before looking back up to him. “I have a presentation today,” 

“Is that what you were working on last night?” 

“Yeah, I’d been working on it from the time I left the shop last night to the time you got home,” she said. “I’ve been over it what feels like a million times. It’s perfect, I know it, just–Yusei, don’t worry about it,” 

“You get up early to work on it again?” 

She looked exasperated at his perseverance. “Couldn’t sleep. I didn’t want to wake you so I got up–about four,” 

It was now 7:30. Yusei had slept like a rock, curled himself around her and hadn’t even bothered to notice if she was feeling anxious. Certainly he should’ve seen it–

“Stop that,” Akiza said. “I didn’t want you to worry. I can see you beating yourself up,” 

“I just came home, didn’t even ask you what you were doing,” Yusei said. “I just took you away from your computer–” 

“You were tired,” she interrupted. “Don’t worry about it,” 

They were silent again, staring at each other. 

“Why are you so worried about it Akiza?” Yusei asked after a moment. 

“Professor’s uptight and this is work a third of my grade,” she said. 

Yusei could see why she’d lose sleep over that. 

“Over a third, actually. Thirty-five percent. I was complaining to Carly about professors that are lazy and don’t want to grade more than a few assignments, but that doesn’t get the work done,” she huffed. 

Her cup joined his on the counter, and soon her cheek was pressed against his sternum, her arms wrapping around his waist. “Yusei,” 

“Yeah, ‘kiza?” 

“I’m terrified it’s not enough,” 

His hands slid down her cardigan. What could he say? What could he say to convince her she would be fantastic, that the work she’d put in would pay off, that it’d be all worth it in the end? As Akiza whimpered out his name through the beginnings of tears, his heart wrenched–it’d been so very long since he’d had to hear her cry–and suddenly saying something didn’t seem like enough. 

In a moment he’d feel bad for disturbing the perfectly pinned crown braid, but presently he didn’t care, the only thing that mattered was tilting her head back, pressing a kiss to her lips. A noise of surprise came from her, he could feel her jump at the ferocity at which his lips moved, accidentally scraping her bottom lip with his teeth, running his tongue over the spot as an apology. Slowly, slowly she relaxed, her palms laying flat on his back, fingers digging in as she reciprocated, standing on her tiptoes to press back against him. 

Yusei was never good with words, wouldn’t pretend to be, but he hoped that she could feel it: his love, his belief in her, not just in school but for the future, that he would be there to comfort her, that she could tell him anything, that she didn’t need to worry about bothering him. Maybe one day he’d be eloquent enough to say this to her, but this would have to do for now. 

She dropped back on to her heels, opening her eyes, the slightest smudge of mascara on the corner of her eye. He wiped it away, accidentally poking her in the eye, apologizing as she giggled at his clumsiness. 

“Should I come watch you?” he asked. 

“You want to leave cars for books?” she giggled, wiping her nose with the back of her hand. 

“Gonna cheer you on,” he said. 

Akiza smiled, her eyes shining with the remnants of unshed tears. “In that case, help me practice. Put on some clothes, handsome, we’re going to school,”

hummmmmm i guess perhaps.... kylo? like i know he has plenty of fans/stans but they feel like a minority. and sonic underground isnt very well known bc of how old and admittedly shitty it is but manic is my fuckin uhhh boyfriend

6. Do you have any anime/manga you’d recommend to me? 

panyo panyo di gi charat!! its sickeningly sweet but very simple and cute and the episodes are only like 5 minutes i think? i think it was the first anime i (properly) watched. it holds a very dear place in my heart i rec it to everyone regardless of taste lol

7. Convince me why I should ship your OTP. Or, if you’re up for it, why I shouldn’t ship your NOTP. 

we have a lot of the same opinions on ships actually!! im not really one for Meta on characters and relationships i just kinda gesture to them and make weird noises

honestly i couldnt personally tell you i feel like im all over the place... i certainly have my biases but i’ll also go for characters that are the complete opposite. its wild im just along for the ride

9. What’s the pettiest reason you’ve ever unfollowed someone for?

skdfjkjkdsg i dont know omg uh... i unfollowed someone not that long ago for breaking mutuals but honestly they were on thin ice for a host of other reasons already soo

10. Are there any minor details that can completely ruin an otherwise promising fanfic for you? Conflicting headcanons and such. (Example: I instantly exit any fanfic that mentions Yamaguchi being bad at baking because it conflicts so heavily with my image of him.)
