Helene Riley history part 2

(SPOILER ALERT)

Meeting Villains:

After her gang's formation she begin to meet the others villains like Robbie Rotten, Tord, Herobrine, Asriel, Vukmir, Chloe Bourgeois, Julie Hinikawa, Black Hat, ect. and work with them to fight against the heroes and other people once they saw them every day. At the time, she met the Disco Zombie and his team from Plants vs. Zombies, then team up with them to brought misery together. Their relationship got fall off in November 2021 for unknown reason.

When Tina got kicked out of Elaine's Crew for her bad behavior the same month she let her join Helene's to bring despair together until 2022.

The New Year's Day 2022 Incident:

She and her allies fought Elaine and heroes again and was prepared to fight, it was interrupted by the news regarding Trixie Prank leaves them terrified. Helene teleported to the Victopolis cemetery and saw Trixie's gravestone, she began to cry as she mourned her death. Helene teleported back to her mansion and kick the door open to her gang, much to their terrify reaction. Helene explaining them about the death of Trixie Prank and desperately ran out of her mansion, demanding her team will be disbanded. Her friends told her not to do but refuse to listen to her friends' advice until she gets overwhelmed by Amulet of Chaos which teleports her to the Void, leaving her friends horrified.

At her arrival, she was welcomed by Don Tech who introduced himself to her. Don explain his past to Helene after the latter asks him about how he lived. At the same time, he tells her to look around the void, she agrees with him to look around the place and following him. However, she feels scared when she saw the screens resembles her friends and other characters before both her and Don gets stopped by the glass breaking noises. They run to the other direction to checking it, It's the Dancing Zombie attempted to breaking the barrier, she initially wasn't fond of him due to his similar appearance to Michael Jackson, but starts to feel bad for him when Don reveals his mysterious past to her. He told her to bring him back to Los Angeles, but Helene declining it and bringing people to Los Angeles instead, triggering the incident around the city as she teleported back to her mansion until it went back to normal which caused her to fall, only to be saved by Sadistic Mean-spirited666.

Rings of Madness Terror Formation:

In the night of the start of January 2022, when she finally met Tessa and Lila near the mansion Molly appears next to them. She was impressed with Molly's return and the latter reunite with Lila following the day. Later, Helene make a deal for Molly about the sub-group for her. Molly accepts the deal and joins them. She later turn on the light that makes 6 people following the direction until they reach the mansion. Helene met the 6 people: Classic Stephanie, Rosemary, Pico, Trina Riffin, Kevin Goldstein (aka Entitled Commentator) and Granny. Soon, they join them as sub-members.

Next 2 days, she announces to the villains about the sub-group. Later, she called 7 people as a invitation for the sub-group. At that time, the 7 villains has arrived at Helene's Mansion where they meet the members of Helene's Gang and soon they join the sub-group thus finally formed as Rings of Madness Terror.

Lucy’s fretful frown only deepened, pale hands wringing together as she tried to muster another argument on why Molly shouldn’t. It was Lucinda who broke the silence. “I’ll go with you.” She sat forward, allowing the light to fall upon her features. Her synthetic skin shone slightly in the low light, lending an uncanny quality to her glass eyes. With the faint sound of servos, she rose from her seat and crossed the floor to join Molly. “Now I really have to object–” Lucy looked at her cybernetic twin, completely distressed at the idea. “What if its still on fire down there? What if something collapses?” “And what if she’s right?” Lucinda interjected, crossing her arms. “I say we wait for Doc Banner to get back, and all four of us have a go. After all, we made that mess. We should clean it up.”

If the appearance of Lucy's twin is still of any surprise, Molly doesn't immediately show it. After everything she's seen and experienced thus far? This was more or less tame. Besides, having more allies were better than having less, wasn't that right? @infamouscabal

"I'm not entirely asking either one of you to come with me." Molly replied, glancing at Lucinda, then back to Lucy. "I just know I can't do it alone. I don't want to put either of you in danger but we're already there, right?"

"I don't know how much Banner can be relied upon. Or Cabal." She frowned a little to herself. They were two people she'd never thought she'd have to say that about. But with Banner off in the four winds and Cabal and his secrecy...maybe she was very well on her own with this.

Waxahatchee Album Review: Tigers Blood

On Tigers Blood, Waxahatchee's long-awaited follow-up to 2020's career-best Saint Cloud, Katie Crutchfield trusts her gut and doubles down on the styles of music she grew up listening to. Written while on tour in 2022, during which Waxahatchee opened for many of her musical heroes like Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow, and Jason Isbell, Tigers Blood is an album at ease with general unease. Saint Cloud was the first album Crutchfield wrote newly sober and in love with her current partner Kevin Morby, and it glowed. Tigers Blood, then, sees her fully entering a new phase, channeling life's trials and tribulations into poetry, finding new ways to appreciate old things.

Perhaps it's hindsight, but "Right Back to It", the lead single from Tigers Blood, exemplifies what the album does best. Crutchfield considers it the first love song she's ever written, and it's one of her strongest, both in terms of vocal delivery and lyricism. She's able to subvert traditional rhyme schemes by unexpectedly bending syllables, packing in just as many words as emotional punches when setting the scene. "Photograph of us / in a spotlight / on a hot night / I was drifting in and out / Reticent on the off chant / I'm blunter than a bullseye / Begging for peace of mind," she sings over Phil Cook's circular banjo and Spencer Tweedy's gentle drums. The chorus, then, is simply classic, a paean to rediscovering intimacy in a relationship. "I've been yours for so long / We come right back to it," Crutchfield sings in harmony with guitarist MJ Lenderman, her coo in perfect contrast with his nasal twang. "But you just settle in / Like a song with no end," they continue. That many of the songs on Tigers Blood employ a certain breeze, free of time and place, is a feature, not a bug.

More than ever, Waxahatchee's songs are easy to sing along to; despite complex turns of phrase, Crutchfield keeps her words metaphorical enough to stand out, abstract enough to be relatable, direct enough to be iconic. The qualities, in conjunction with her and her backing band's performance, lead to some breathtaking moments. "You drive like you're wanted in four states / In a busted truck in Opelika," she sings over Tweedy's drum roll on the rolling "3 Sisters", right before the song's forbearing beat drops. On "Bored", she belts the song's chorus--"I can get along / My spine’s a rotted two by four / Barely hanging on / My benevolence just hits the floor / I get bored"--alongside Lenderman's sharp riffs, Tweedy's pummeling drums, and Nick Bockrath's wincing pedal steel. In context of the song's inspiration--a friendship that ended badly--Crutchfield's admissions hit harder. "Lone Star Lake", meanwhile, has no chorus: It just choogles along between verses as Crutchfield reflects on her faults with wry humor: "Shirk every rule of thumb / I got more where that came from."

Crutchfield's voice, too, has never been more expressive. For every song like "Right Back To It" or "Crimes of the Heart", where her flow is deft enough to rival your favorite rapper's, there's a song like "Crowbar", where she stretches out "I" into so many syllables you can feel the shaking vulnerability. "365", a song about codependency and addiction, places her falsetto high in the mix, emphasizing her susceptibility: "I catch your poison arrow / I catch your same disease / Bow like a weeping willow / Buckling at the knees." Fittingly, Tigers Blood ends with everybody in the recording studio--even assistant engineer Natalia Chernitsky--singing the chorus, suggestive of the universality of Crutchfield's prose. Ultimately, she knows that there's strength in numbers. When she tries to take shortcuts alone, the chickens come home to roost. "Throw a brick through the window, leave your mess at my door," she sings on "Tigers Blood", "Lord knows sooner or later it'd wash up to shore." Tigers Blood lays it all bare.

A comprehensive thought dump by two idiots about MCD season 1 upon recent rewatch 9 years later.

Aphblr has lied to me.

for years I have been told that Jessica Bravura’s Minecraft diaries is the superior watch to her other main series Mystreet which is just simply untrue as of my rewatch of the series 9 years after watching it for the first time.

true to the art form and writing style popular at the time MCD is a jumbled mess of things just happening with no clear connection and in some cases direction.

so many wasted opportunities because we are put promptly into the perspective of Aphmau. A character with very little substance and is shaped by the characters around her rather than the characters own actions.

the most interesting characters and concepts remaining firmly in the background. Such as Dale and Molly’s struggle with their daughter being turned into a shadow knight.

Brian’s sudden and barely built up betrayal of his family.

Kiki’s daughter being Zane lets be so real that child is literally just Zianna 2.0 (oh but Madi she’s a werewolf! Idc Cope.)

to Logan and Donna’s love story.

Most characters in the for front don’t talk about there own trauma’s or really anything there feeling outside of there love feelings for or about Aphmau.

Even as the production value went up I find the most interesting arc is the pikoro arc. As it showed genuine comradely between our main characters and established a clear dynamic. Only for the Scaleswind war arc to completely ruin that by making Garroth lose all rational thinking and an extreme entitlement to Aphmau. Writing it as if Zane brainwashed it doesn’t make the uncomfortable and frustration go away.

Zane was a good villain, while motives are fairly unclear he had a genuine presence and had fairly smart well executed plans. (Ein is definitely not a better villain.)

Something that stuck out to me; was how much of the plot probably could’ve been solved with the poorly thought out magic system, specifically Kawaii-Chan.

Kawaii-Chan practices forbidden soul magic and is able to give inanimate objects a conscious. So Lion point out something interesting; couldn’t she just trap parts of the main characters soul in a doll and just, save them incase the worst happens? Imagine what she could do with relics.

Every time Lucinda is on screen I fear what comes out of her mouth. Because I’m just going to ask later “why can’t she just do this?”.
