Thoughts on Tekken 8 demo (so far)

>I'm enjoying it so far. I already got that warrior rank by destroying everyone with my boy Jin Kazama. Also I am so glad Bandai Namco finally added vs CPU as an option (which they should've done years ago smh, but better now than never I guess). I always spent most of my time playing Soul Calibur 6 just playing as my favorite characters or customizations in the vs CPU mode. The vs CPU really does add replay value to the game (playing as your favorite characters, wanting to see your favorite characters's special intros with the other characters in the roster which is epic). Glad they're bringing back Tekken Ball as well. Oh maybe some more single player content would be great too (like idk bring back survival mode, time attack, or team battle).

Fucking make Kuma an alternate costume of Panda, then BRING BACK ANNA! We gotta have both Nina and Anna, man! At least Kazuya still has the greedy coffee CEO lady Azucena by his side tho. She knows Kazuya will make her coffee sell more $$$ and Kazuya looks hot.

Still not too sure whether to buy this game or not (yet)...but I'm a little more optimistic now.

Nous sommes ravis de recevoir pour la troisième fois cette collaboration récurrente entre le trio parisien et la performeuse japonaise ( évoluant la plupart du temps dans l'univers butô ) oùune synergie et une entente exceptionnelles se mettent en œuvre pour aboutir à faire naître un univers sonore d'une grande densité, toujours surprenant, avec un sens du détail et une cohérence organique.Formé en 1999 par Antoine Letellier (guitares, instruments à vent) & Nicolas Moulin (guitare, électroniques), LENA CIRCUS est d'abord un duo (avec à son actif neuf EPs publiés à un rythme mensuel, sur divers labels indépendants), avant d'être rejoint en 2003 par Guillaume Arbonville (percussions). Entre new new age, ambient, krautrock ouateux, spoken word susurré et electronica, inclassable,  Audrey dispense des so(i)ns atmosphériques - comme une invitation à l'introspection et à la ( douce ) rêverie à base de nappes synthétiques, guitare, basse, flûte, vibraphone... Son premier album "Quelque chose s'est dissipé" est sorti en juillet dernier chez Métron Records.

Entre larmes de cire et moulages de béton, Leandro fait gentiment suer sa Fender Jaguar ( et ses amplis ) à moins qu'il ne s'en prenne à son synthé fait maison avec plein de boutons et plein de bougies plantées là où ça fait du pas bien. Performeur bien performant, il a bien plus de tours dans son sac encore mais on ne va pas en faire un inventaire exhaustif non plus hein.

Ces dernières années, il s'est concentré sur la réalisation d'œuvres vidéo dans l'esprit du cinéma structurel et matérialiste en utilisant des méthodes programmatiques. Son travail sur le son a toujours occupé une place importante et, en plus d'être membre du groupe de rap d'avant-garde KOT, il a été très actif sur la scène noise en Pologne. Filmada en Inglaterra y en inglés (más algo de yiddish), se basa en una novela británica ni clásica ni famosa, tiene por protagonista a una actriz americana debutante (una hermana de los Phoenix, arropada por actores franceses y británicos), es de época (no muy remota), es una reflexión (implícita) sobre el teatro y habla de personajes judíos.

No es, por tanto, aunque buena parte de sus protagonistas sean jóvenes, la más característica de su autor; al no ser francesa, cuando se podría decir de él —de no ser casi un insulto en este país— que es "inequívocamente francés". Tampoco responde al manido (y probadamente ineficaz) planteamiento quimérico-comercial europeo de hacer películas angloparlantes para conseguir acceso a un mercado del que, casi por sistema, serán excluidas (sin que su doblaje o rodaje en inglés arregle nada). Si Esther Kahn está en inglés se debe a su tema, a que es la lengua de su texto matriz, de su ambientación de época, hasta del tipo de teatro que en ella se aspira a representar. Es decir, causas lógicas, suficientes y serias. Lo cual sí que define a Desplechin, un cineasta aún joven que no hace tonterías, y que empezó ya demostrando que "iba en serio" con su primer mediometraje, La Vie des morts. Son películas verdaderamente arriesgadas, inhabituales y más bien largas, y no por llamar la atención ni por desplante o provocación. Su tono modesto aleja cualquier posible ostentación de originalidad; se diría que es original a su pesar, casi sin querer, irremediablemente. ¿Qué hacer, si así se le ocurren las películas que le apetecen? No lo puede evitar y tiene que resignarse y, eso sí, procurar apañarse lo mejor posible, cuidando el ritmo y el interés y la claridad de la historia que cuenta para que dos horas y media no se hagan largas sino emocionantes. Tampoco pretende ser moderno, actual o joven; simplemente lo es, y son aspectos que acepta como un dato más que un mérito, como un punto de partida y no un objetivo. Al contrario, se diría que a él le gustaría hacer un cine clásico, personal pero ameno, comprensible por cualquiera, interesante sin necesidad de claves culturalistas, con pasión, misterio y humor, como el que le llevó a querer ser director. Tampoco se engaña: sabe que no son los tiempos ni los medios los mismos, que el público ha cambiado, que es inútil fijarse el éxito como meta. Así, cuenta lo que a él le interesa, y espera que eso mismo interese a otros, cuantos más mejor. Y si no, qué se le va a hacer, salvo volver a la carga e intentarlo de nuevo...

Se dirá entonces que Desplechin es racional, "cartesiano", siguiendo un tópico sobre lo francés que contradice otro, según el cual sería soñador y surrealista. Es las dos cosas casi siempre, hasta cuando intenta tener sólo una cara, o potenciar una faceta de su doble (al menos) personalidad. Se presupone, a veces, que lo razonable es (no veo por qué) tímido, o poco estimulante. Como si no fuera compatible con la pasión o, llevado a su extremo, a sus últimas lógicas consecuencias, no desembocara en la locura.

Creo que en ese precario e inestable, inseguro equilibrio entre la locura y la lógica, el frenesí y la serenidad, el enigma y la luz, reside todo el proyecto y el atractivo del cine de Desplechin, probablemente la mayor y más sólida revelación del cine francés de las últimas dos o tres décadas.

nope, no story. Just the concept that that movie didn’t need the white saviorism or sexualization and demonization of Native people :) I just had the concept that Miguel and Tulio could’ve been Indigenous (either Nahua or Maya or other cultures, but I went with Yucatec Maya for the edits). Ideally, if say I worked on that movie an suggested a plot, I would’ve left out colonizers altogether and maybe had Miguel and Tulio as two Maya men going to another city for some reason, and their adventure. I also excluded Tzekel Kahn just because I had already been working on this for months (since July 2020) sporadically, and the edits I released were already mostly worked on and gathered and researched, so I was just too tired of working on it to do more of that for himi dhfshfus. Maybe some day. But thank you!

El 14 de abril homenajeamos a una posición muy querida y odiada al mismo tiempo en un partido de fútbol: Es el Día Internacional del Arquero.

Es una gran responsabilidad evitar que el equipo contrario meta un gol durante un partido de fútbol, siendo considerado el puesto más ingrato y amargo de todos. En otros países se conoce como golero o arquero. El portero merece un especial reconocimiento por su papel fundamental en un partido de fútbol.

El origen de este día es en homenaje al futbolista colombiano Miguel Calero, el legendario portero con más partidos jugados en la historia. Después de su fallecimiento, se escogió la fecha de su cumpleaños para festejar el Día Internacional del Portero, celebrándolo cada 14 de abril, a partir del año 2013.

Algunos de los porteros de fútbol más célebres en la historia del fútbol son: Oliver Kahn, José Luis Chilavert, Dino Zoff, Gianluigi Buffon, Gordon Baknks, Peter Schmeichel, Iker Casillas y Lev Yashin. ¿Cuál es tu arquero o portero favorito?
