I would love to see you write some more culture differences between the bots and humans. If you wouldn’t mind :0 I wish we saw some in TFP
Same here. I love seeing world-building and deep lore, especially with other fantasy/sci-fi civilizations.
TFP gave us so much and so little at the same time. It's like going to a restaurant, you have a drink and great appetizers, so you're constantly waiting for the entrée that isn't coming!
TFP is also really fascinating when looking at it with the lens of the caste system and its deep roots within and among the 'bots, even their reduced circumstances. I get the feeling that Optimus is way more casual in way with his team than what the decorum would demand, even with his barriers.
The Autobots would find human cityscapes as quaint. Even the dense sprawls of megacities with towering high rises are paltry reminder of what they're used to.
Cybertron was a planet where its wilds had been tamed. Either reshaped or completely stripped. The Wastelands is/was an apt name for the baren landscapes outside the established city-states.
It wasn't just a large difference in public transport and zoning and sheer scale. It was also the functional design and architecture.
City-states mimicked the layouts of Titans' ground alt-modes. They didn't sprawl outward. Those had set perimeters based on Titans' outer defenses. Instead, the cities expanded up or down.
It wasn't limited to just a parking structure or secretive bases. Whole levels housed entire communities of what castes resided there: occupations, hospitals, sewage, refineries, restaurants, entertainment, and so much. Some mecha go without ever seeing the sunlight or feel real wind, especially those at the lowest of the system. The lowest castes are set all the way at the bottom, among ancient tech and dilapidated buildings. Sorting and recycling what could be kept and what must be sent back to the upper levels.
The concept of "open to the public" would confuse the Autobots. The Golden Age operated its society under the strict overview of a caste system, which expanded to "where" and "what" individuals of a caste could access.
Monster truck rallies fall under bloodsport to them. Bulkhead once scavenged money to watch and do small bets at high-stakes drift racing and lower-tier gladiator matches below the ground. Mecha still had to pay entrance fees to it.
Parks were under the Artisanal caste. Blending murals of legends, careful tending to fauna that are functionally extinct that was tailored to the agreed aesthetic, live music from specific pupils of masters, playing on instruments that merged with the gardens, so it was difficult to tell what was a tool and a plant or animal. And entry to any of it was only allowed for certain castes.
Universities were thriving, self-contained communities, and major points of power. No one off the list would be allowed into its grounds. All visitors and short-term guests were deeply screened and monitored. There is no such thing as "dropping by." Everything is meticulously planned and prepared. Unless a faculty member personally vouches for a guest, they must heed the numerous rules or a risk permanent banning.
Academia had long since been territorial over its talents and quality of its programs and people. They refuse to allow anyone outside its jurisdiction to bully one of its own. No matter the rank or caste, it will close its inescapable jaws around an outsider.
The fact that someone could go to a private university and simply jog upon its grounds is mind-boggling to the 'bots.
As well as libraries and their courses and workshops. So anyone can go? Anyone?! Everyone has access to the knowledge!? Can anyone simply go join a seminar on local gardening? Anyone can just go to a playground and start swinging or playing basketball or flying a kite or dancing to music? Anyone?
Bulkhead had a lot of questions for Jack and Raf since they're locals compared to Miko.
"So anyone can go?"
"Yeah. I used to spend my recess looking up bird anatomy and Ancient Greece and Egypt."
"You had a thing for ancient civilizations?" Raf asked.
"Doesn't everyone?" Jack shrugged. "Pharoahs and gladiators and old gods? We ate that up with mystery books or Goosebumps."
"I read Sherlock Holmes and the Chronicles of Narnia."
"Those are classics. Hey, did you get into The Lo-"
"Hold up," Bulkhead cut in, crouched down and leaning more forward, as if sharing a secret and quietly ask, "So anyone?"
"Yes. Anyone." Jack repeated, rapidly firing off each point with a finger. "Their family. Their friends. Their classmates. Their coworkers. Their pe-"
"Even, let's say, a construction worker. He could just go inside and pick up, I don't know, quantum physics? Anatomy of any frames? Gardening?"
"Sure." Raf squinted and moved to wipe off his glasses with his sleeves. "Clubs and people like to donate more to expand the base. Some of the college professors even leave early editions of their textbooks." Raf readjusted his glasses and beamed. "It's for easier access people and for an industrial copier."
"Oh..." There was a wealth of meaning in that small noise.
"You..." Jack struggled on the concept. Perhaps giant metal aliens didn't need books and could download information from their own internet. "You don't have libraries or schools?"
"No. We did." Bulkhead sighed. "I just wasn't allowed into them."
Out of all of them, Miko would be the to come the closest to understanding them in some ways. 出る杭は打たれる. The nail that sticks out gets hammered in.
As a transfer student from Japan, Miko does have instances of culture clashes with her American classmates and host family.
She's loud. She knows that. But Americans are a different breed with no restraint. In some ways, admirable. In others, incredibly frustrating.
Miko is used to a far heavier workload with long hours after-school and a busy city life. Jasper qualifies between a small and large town that she can't walk around easily on her own with the blazing heat and bitter cold nights and the lack of a car or a bike.
Detention in the US is a joke to her. Stay in school after it's over? She's used to doing that back at home with clubs and cleaning it. On a Saturday? Same thing. Some clubs back home ran long hours over the weekend. Do homework? She already finished it during lunch or between classes because she wants all the other time to herself and the 'bots.
Because Bulkhead gets a realization just how free the kids' social mobility is, he tries to get on Miko over her scrapping at school and her assignments, especially after Ratchet's high jacking their science projects resulted in failure. And that was another strange blow since Ratchet is a medic and a scientist. She's smart and quick and can be rough around the edges and so everywhere, and, to him, Miko deserves everything she could want in her short life. (And wasn't that also a terrifying concept to grasp? To just live and die under a single vorn?)
At first, Miko was getting annoyed because it's similar to the well-meaning nagging her host family does, but she reads the worry he has, and they have to really sit down and speak and soothe over his misunderstandings.
It comes as a huge surprise to her that Bulkhead can just download a language into him. Context and colloquialisms would be missing, and he needs work because he's a mix between extreme formality and, much to her delight, yakuza. And it's all because of her own frustration that English is her second language.

So, dinosaurs are a bust, BUT we got the next best thing
Part 1 2 3 4 (and extra)
The "dinosaur" """science""" station around the planet Ramforinkus is facing an existential crisis:
The dinosaurs they engineer keep dying on the planet that likes to set itself on fire all the time. Go figure.
And they are trying. Everie Jackobson, Henrietta Kostoyeva, and Gieverne de la Roquohe (everything after Ro is silent, obviously) will never give up on their dreams of... I'm actually not sure what they're actually aiming for anymore. It's become almost like a fever, this urge, this need to have dinosaurs as seen in Jurassic Park on a planet that is absolutely hostile to pretty much all living things except the very peculiar ferns, moss, algae, and fungi that coexist in this strange symbiotic cycle of conflagration.
Their latest solution?
Cybernetics.
Yup. Robo-dinosaurs.
If the flesh can't survive, metal will. They still want biological things in there, or it won't be a "real dinosaur" whatever importance that has at this stage.
But there's no fauna on the planet for them to hunt and eat, and there's no point to making a Dinosaur Planet if you can't have a goddamn TYRANNOSAURUS REX running around eating people. I mean, other dinosaurs. Whatever.
The solution? Make them able to digest metal that the cybernetic herbivore dinosaurs will be made of. Can't be solving self-inflicted problems without creating boatloads of additional work that will result in other problems that themselves will need extensive and complicated solutions, which in turn will continue the cycle forever.
Hmm?
Why are they adding guns to the carnivorous dinosaurs now?
Well, the cybernetically enhanced herbivores are a lot faster and more durable than their pure organic counterparts, so O B V I O U S L Y you need to compensate and balance things out.
But oh no, the weapon discharges are catching the planet on fire more frequently and reducing the herbivore's food sources dramatically, who could have predicted this, I wonder.
Aaaaand now some of the herbivores are salvaging the ranged weapons off of the occasional dead carnivore and gearing themselves up, so now the raptors need better defensive capabilities and stealth tech to even get close to their prey.
Yeah, go for it, that certainly won't cause more problems. Do a mecha-dinosaur arms race, these three """"""scientists"""""" are really putting their brilliant minds to good use over here. Well done.
...and now the dinosaurs are putting their differences aside and planning a rebellion against the evil sky wizard tower.
And you know what the three stooges are thinking?
Guess.
.
.
.
Wrong (unless you did guess this next part).
"I wonder how long until they develop their own space program and join us as a Galactic civilization? I can't wait! Dinosaurs in Space!!!"

irken membranes au au rambling below cut
DIB is an invader here; sneaking around, collecting information, and exploring the unknown, sometimes combat is involved but not often. He was a scientist though, but researching mechas, fauna, and others just isn't enough for him, he needs... more hands-on experiments.
GAZ, on the other hand, is a navigator; basically treating the panel like it's a video game, destroying dangers ahead, scanning for unknown territory, and flying the armada to a predetermined destination. Her headpiece also doubled as a video game console so she can just grab it whenever she wants when she was off-duty. GAZ may like beating people up, but games are her top priority. Let's just say that she was training to be an Irken soldier until she saw the navigator panel.
The Almighty Tallest MEMBRANE here is constantly on calls and researching, currently working on how to get to the fourth dimension without getting sensory overload. Very straight posture but he still looks really scrawny and weak so I gave him an optional cape for a much more imposing silhouette.
The story here is that since MEMBRANE is always on call all the time, GAZ got tired of being brushed off by him and went to DIB to complain about it. Why DIB? He's the only one here she ever talks to, all the other Irkens are either just snobby, frightened, or dumb, her words. When GAZ headed to DIB's room to rant to him about it, he looks at her, perfectly conveying the phrase "are you kidding me?" They [yadda yadda yadda] and now they're both planning to leave Irk/Armada to see how long it would be before he notices both of his smeets are gone.
To prevent their father from noticing the voot pathway on the holographic map, they flew into uncharted territory. So yea, they basically float around in the space for a few months because them, occasionally trade with space merchants for materials, taking shifts because Irkens do need sleep for top performance. Then one day, DIB spots a backwater planet, one with living organisms on it, seemingly disconnected from the cosmos network. The perfect hideout for a stupid plan.
It's Urth, they landed on Urth.

Jazz knows. Jazz has been frequently recommending fics to him.
Jazz is his main purveyor of JazzProwl fics and the super raunchy Megatron ones onces he knew who because Jazz thinks the writing and interpretations of their presentations to the men is interesting and has neatly separated himself from the persona.
Tarn and him just sitting across each other at Cybertronian Starbucks while everyone else is freaking out and Jazz chatting on like there is no issue enjoying the chaos while Tarn has a breakdown on the otherside of the table because now he knows Jazz knows. Jazz just casually ordered for them (completewith straw for Tarn), keeping up the public conversation and finally taking pity and messaging him on Cybertronian Tumblr. Him and Tarn have two different conversations, one as their public selves and one as their fandom selves which helps Tarn distract from how self-concious he feels.
Everyone in Cybertronian Starbucks waiting for bloodshed, and instead, all they get is these two talking about Cybertron's Top 40 and going furniture shopping.
Then of course MegOP walks in for their regularly scheduled coffee date. Tarn bluescreens and Jazz smirks. Tarn gets one "Don't you dare message" before Jazz is waving.
Okay but I love the idea that yes
He knows everyone ships him with Prowl
Jazz is right though it's fascinating as hell
YES ON CYBERTRONIAN STARBUCKS they stole so many drink ideas from human and energon-ified them (may I suggest Swerve works there as a barista)
All the tables directly around theirs is empty and everyone else is nervous as fuck, so is Tarn, but Jazz is having such a time
Smart of Jazz to order a straw for Tarn, I'm just imagining Tarn prefers to pop his mask up a little and drink it from the side with a ridiculous straw rather than take his mask off because Tarn. Pleaseeee tell me it's a bendy straw too. On the other side of things I'm imagining that Tarn initially learned he needed straws after his Empurata, and that even after his frame was rebuilt he kept the habit of always using a straw.
Sdffgh. Tumblr: Cybertronian edition. Tarn has a #aesthetics sideblog with pictures of sunsets and reblogged pictures of fauna and bargain bin inspirational posts, because yes Tarn yes.
Also aww Jazz for figuring out that'd help Tarn be less unbearably awkward and it's through fandom, rare Tarn as a mood moment
I like to think mecha more or less calm down a bit when they realize no murder is probably not going to happen today. Just a bit.

To bring some positivity to TFOne coming out, what stuff did you like about the trailer? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
oh man im still digesting it a lil bit but whoof lets go-
ECOLOGY
WE HAVE ROBOT ANIMALS!!! FLORA AND FAUNA!! WE SEE MORE THAN JUST CITIES WE SEE LANDSCAPES AND GEOGRAPHIC FEATURES AND A BLEND OF CIVILIZATION AND WILD SPACES AND A PROPER ALIEN PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANIMALS!!!!!
like don't get me wrong the cities themselves rock and are gorgeous, but we only ever see like... just a bunch of grey metal and blocky greebled buildings and rust. Cyberverse was probably my favorite properly alien planet as a whole instead of just a really big sci fi city named Cybertron and i'm so excited to see what they do with it in One, ESPECIALLY with how it seems to be heavily technoorganic and hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Quintessonsssssssssssss eeeheheheheh give me the SQUIDS
actually for that matter the aesthetics?? this is such a fascinating artistic direction that i'm really appreciating like the vaporwave sunsets, the fractal moving mountains and aurora horizon, those busy neon city scenes and the upside down underground towers and... whoof it's all so incredible?? and it manages to be visually stunning WITHOUT just being a bunch of, yknow, greebled nonsense. it looks designed, it looks like it has Culture and Life and Intent behind it instead of being a mess of vaguely robotic detail slapped on. i keep wondering what the significance of the tower on the poster will be. the train things are fascinating. the little hints and implications of society and oh how interesting that could be expanded on. the mecha themselves too are like, halfway in between uncanny valley and stylized tin soldier toys for me in a way that took a bit of getting used to but i'm appreciating more and more how it's visibly and joyfully animated instead of trying (and failing) to be 'live action' like the Lion King
the SCALE. THE SCALE!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW RARE IT IS WE GET SO MANY NAMED KNOWN CHARACTERS PACKED INTO SCENES LIKE THIS. tf canons usually have core casts of characters both for storytelling and budget reasons and yet here we've got so many shown off in just the trailer, it makes it feel like a real populated planet instead of a handful of robots and some set dressing like Aligned feels like to me.
i've got some insane questions like why does D-16 already have a Decepticon brand on him??? why is Alpha Trion alone and sad and did he rip those tcogs out of the corpses of other primes to give to them and why is he some kinda mossy gorgonopsid unicorn?? why is Sentinel getting tentacled and will we see him be ripped limb from limb (positive)?? what are Vehicons here and how do they differ from regular bots and what is their purpose???
the only real issue i have is Hasbro being predictable and shoving Bee in when someone else would really better fit this movie as he's typically not meant to be in this time period/role but eh. disappointed but not surprised and willing to let go and laugh at him being comic relief anyway. there's literally not enough information on anything else for me to say if i don't like it or not yet bc i have no idea how they're gonna execute it, but what is there has me eager and hopeful it'll be good
i guess the biggest thing is. it looks fun. it looks FUN!!! the world looks fun, the characters look like they're having fun, it just seems like a movie that wants me to ENJOY it!! i'm ready for a fun movie in a franchise i love!!

Lore notes on the Mech Pilot AU
I was going to put this under the initial post but it got a little long, so I'm putting it here instead!
The TL;DR is that the mech pilot au involves giant robots fighting other giant robots, as well as fending off alien attacks, exploring the universe, with a little bit of space gods thrown in.
Earth and Cybertron are one in the same (but for simplicity's sake I'll call it Cybertron), though the geographical features and regions are cybertronian with the flora and fauna of earth. Cybertron has colony worlds that stretch throughout the rest of the solar system and beyond, so planets like Caminus and Velocitron still exist. When the war happens, it's on Cybertron and other colonies and planets, and the two sides fight with giant mecha (that are either manufactured or retrieved as endoskeletons/base frames from the planet's core).
Primus and Unicron are supernatural entities that form the cores of two respective planets. While primus is the core of cybertron/earth and is the source of naturally forged mecha skeletons, Unicron is the core of a dead, distant, monster-infested planet that slowly traverses the universe in search of his brother. Sometimes these unicronic beasts will find Cybertron, and the best mech pilots will rise to eliminate them.
Titans are directly spawned from Primus, and the only case of a fully sentient mecha. Curiously though, they can create artificial human bodies to masquerade as an ordinary mech pilot. Some are the size of entire cities, though others are only the size of massive starships. Long ago, the city titans served as as vessels tasked to form colonies on other planets, while the starship titans were talked to chart the edges of the known universe. However, some have remained on Cybertron, and their artificial human consciousnesses walk among ordinary society. Their speakers are real humans who attain cybernetic attachments to help them last longer with their titan, but they are still mortal and die after thousands of years.
Mech pilots are situated in the chest, with the eyes of the mecha serving as cameras they can see in the cockpit. The mechs themselves are divided into classes categorized by size, the smallest (known as the miniature class) being 20 ft and the largest (known as the leviathan class) being 200 ft. Their structure is also determined by their purpose. Bulkier mecha meant that are military grade or meant for hard labor will be bigger and have wider cockpits complete with a bigger dashboard, but smaller/slimmer mecha meant for less labor intensive scientific/exploration/stealth work will have narrower cockpits with smaller dashboards. The mecha are more greebled than their transformer counterparts, with more articulating lines, cables, and/or vents, and are in some cases bulkier (especially the commander, bastion, and leviathan class). They can still transform, but the process isn't instantaneous and is mostly reserved for military or labor mecha. Not every human is a mech pilot, but they can become one as long as they're licensed. They technically don't need one, but if you want to abide by the law, it's required.
The spark is the mecha's power source that is situated behind or under the cockpit. The pilot's suit has a fragment of this spark energy as well, that acts as a signature that binds them to said mecha. Pilots can use other mecha, but they will never be as skilled and powerful as they would be if they stuck to the mecha they share the spark signature of. Functionism still exists in this au, and there's a prejudice against those who don't pilot "Primus-born" mecha. Manufactured mecha are built with artificial spark signatures, whereas forged mecha carry spark signatures fro Primus. Most mecha are manufactured, with the primus-born mecha reserved for the most elite pilots, richest buyers, or others who acquire them through different means.
The classes of mecha are as follows: Miniature Class (20-50 ft), Trooper Class (70-80 ft), Cavalier Class (90-100 ft), Bastion Class (110-130 ft), Commander Class (140-170 ft), and Leviathan Class (180-200 ft). The most common military mecha are the Trooper and Cavalier Classes, with the Commander and Bastion Classes piloted by military elites. The rarest was the Leviathan class, which was exclusively for specially-recruited teams which piloted them at once (combiner equivalent). The largest mecha used to be the Bastion Class, but the war introduced the larger Commander and Leviathan classes. Map for scale (using the greatest possible heights for each):
Tumblr media
The Autobot and Decepticon war still happened. Optimus and Megatron both pilot commander class armor, the former's being primus-born and the latter's being manufactured. Megatron's mecha was a Bastion Class that was retrofitted into a Commander Class.
The everyday mech pilot usually pilots a miniature or trooper class, though the more affluent pilot cavaliers. Bastions are a rarity, lest you're a pilot meant to work in hard labor. Deep space exploration, mining, and construction work are prominently carried out by manufactured Bastion Class mecha.
The Quintessons are an alien race from a distant world, who once enslaved the cybertronians and exploited the well in which Primus created mecha. They were driven off the planet after the uprising, but they were able to successfully replicate Primus's creation ability on their own world, creating sentient and hostile robots that obey the orders of their masters. They also tamed the local wildlife of their planet, from small creatures to kaiju-sized monstrosities, and will often send them to Cybertronian colonies, Cybertron itself, or elsewhere to wreak havoc or serve their ulterior motive. After the war, much of Cybertron's best mech pilots have banded together to fight this threat, establishing an organization that recruits mech pilots to aid the cause on different levels.
The average joe with a mecha can be paid to help in humanitarian efforts on Cybertron (or sometimes its colonies), but those who are more daring can undergo a two and a half-year training course that prepares them to fight legitimate threats for even higher pay. It can still technically be a part time job, but the requirements to stay part of the organization can be pretty strict, so slacking is heavily discouraged too. The full-timers are those who have undergone the full four year training course to venture into space to seek out and fight threats away from Cybertron or its colonies.
This organization is run by Ultra Magnus, a Commander Class pilot. Elita One and Bumblebee (Bastion and Cavalier respectively) are also officials. Rodimus (Cavalier Class) might be an official too if he wasn't off doing his own thing.
Like in the normal universe, are still post-war skirmishes between Autobots and Decepticons, and all sorts of people with ulterior motives. Even though the war’s over, fighting happens all the time.
Cybertronian society is basically a technologically advanced earth with the same visual urban aesthetic as Cybertron.
Non-cybertronian species such as Quintessons, Nebulans, etc. stay the same.

What is your castle's motorical mechanism?
Like, does just float in a direction? Does it have wings or engines? Wheels? Baba yaga legs? Stakataka legs? Frog legs? Teleportaion?
It magically hovers above the grownd. It used to have mecha-legs but they weren't the best noise-wise and I need some form of stealth to evade law enforcement. Plus it wasn't very eco friendly since hundreds of tonnes stomping on the grownd tend to disturb the fauna and disrupt the flora.

Some Cuphead fanchild stuff bc yuarr
Prince Sugar Licorice (Linm)
Basically, he is opposite to his siblings who are hyperactive and crazy. He is calm one of the CandyClown children. He like reading books particularly French novels. But He can be crazy like his mother, he used a candy cane shotgun to shoot the enemy. Also, Linm has had a crush on JunOh since when he was at least 13 but kept it a secret and not reveal to JunOh until they were 18 years old.
Prince Junoh (Ju)
He stands as the next throne to the Bee Kingdom, but he is not ready yet. They love to spend most of their time exploring new areas, helping worker bees, and Korean novels. Their antenna can be used to detect the danger. He and Linm have been good friends since they were 10 years old, both have feelings for each other but won't admit themselves to each other until they are 18 years old. They are the older siblings of Theodarld and Hanako.
Wisteria Spector Bloom
She is currently the helper of her father's garden. Her bottom ghost tail can change into two plant legs if she require it. She has two pink eyes with no pupils, which she got from her relative. She cares for her family and the flora and fauna. She hates it when someone calls her 'Bass' since everyone thinks she looks a lot like Bass from Medabot. When they are angry, they transform into ghost plant monsters, in this state she can shoot flower seeds at the foe and use her vine to attack the foe. But she is a pretty chill girl.
Strawberry Yogurt Bit (Yoyo)
Like Cuphead, he is very energetic, eager to go on adventures, and reckless, but more troublemaker, courageous, and sometimes rude. He is a fan of mecha anime, especially in Gundam and Brave series. His cream can not melt during the hot summertime. He is more of a risk taker, unlike Shirohito who is more careful and serious about Yoyo's actions. He has a chip underneath his cream hair, he gets it when he falls to the ground from the small hill at the age of 6, he is fine. Very Big fan of pink and green colors. He used his strawberry decoration as a healing point and the strawberry can region on him. Other his reckless behavior, he is very loyal and protective of his loved ones and younger siblings.

My bestie RJ is working on another novel! This time, it's packed to the brim with shit like ancient mechas, elven lighting magic, and, of course, corporate human greed devolving into apocalyptic disaster. Told from the perspective of the bad guy, (who for the first time in his life, finds being the bad guy kinda hard,) he's a transmasc protag with T4T endgame romance! It's allout war between the suited baddies and the rebel factions on this planet - an adventure spanning the globe (or what's left of it) awaits! Hope you have an oxygen tank or some elven magic with you, because our next target is underwater 🌊 🤿🏊‍♂️

Aboard are Pete Kennedy (the Company Rep looking for ways to build even better worlds), and newbie Pilot Linh Kahali is looking forward to the excitement the frontier is said to offer. There's also Scientist Karl Jorgensen, facing a health condition he can't afford to treat, who has taken an unskilled job to gain financial security for his family when he's gone. Finally, AWOL Colonial Marine Gart Weathers has been blackmailed by the Alfa's Captain to meet her need for an Engineer. When they wake from hypersleep the Alfa is NOT where it is supposed to be and a proximity collision alarm reveals a huge potential salvage opportunity literally rolling towards the Alfa. Elixie Discussion Thread/Headcanons
vibe with me, friends. I want, you know what, I want some fuckin' DISCOURSE. Do they ever go back to the surface? Do they have kids? Names? BACKSTORIES?? How did our two besties get together? How was their proposal? First date? Anniversaries? Bdays? WEDDING? HONEYMOON??? FIGHT IT OUT I WANT AN ELIXIE FANON I'll get started, Eli proposes to her on the surface under moonlight (because she asked about the moon in a throwaway line in canon, fight me). They name their first daughter Aylin. Here's a copy paste of Aylin's character profile:
Name: Aylin Shane Age: 14 Pronouns: she/her Species: human Likes: Hands on things, experiments with the slugs (not like Blakk obviously, testing what they like and dislike to eat and such), messing with flora and fauna in both worlds, she probably gets some pet slugs in the surface eventually, joy rides on her mecha, junk food Dislikes: pet stores, all those slug scams Fun facts: Aylin is the first in her immediate family that diet can affect slug's transformations. Despite how much all Shanes and Shane gang care for the slugs, she takes it a step further and actually pioneers slug husbandry. Backstory: like other Shanes, she is raised in the Burning World to ensure she has a choice in her life. However, Eli and Trixie do not keep her from entering Slugterra at all until turning 15. around the time she is 7, Aylin is allowed to come down to Slugterra on weekend trips and during break [sometimes]. By the time she is 10, they're going on month long trips to Slugterra during summer break. No slinging still applies. Her main story arc starts about 1 month after her 14th bday. The Shane family is on another long term Slugterra family vacay. From June 29-Aug 29. Around Aug 19, Eli goes missing. Trixie and the rest of the fans have two weeks to get Trixie back to school (the goal is to do so with Eli, obviously). Trixie wants to leave Aylin with someone because she’s still only 14, “but mom! Dad cashed in his 15th bday as soon as it happened! And he didn’t have half the exposure to slugterra I did” after some back and forth “ok. Lin, it’s time to go rescue your idiot father” Appearance: green eyes; black hair, mid length, often in a braid/s, bun/s, or pony to keep it out of the way Idk anything about Aylin's younger sibling except that they have blue eyes and red hair.
OH and also. At some point Trixie goes "I'm a Shane" or "I'm Trixie Shane" or something at a snarky bad guy ast sny point after their marriage. maybe more than once, even, now that I think of it. And a snippet from a diff character profile template:
Bday: June 13th Height: 5' 4" (tentatively, idk) Pronouns: she/her Sexuality: pan
OK LETS OPEN THIS MARKETPLACE OF IDEAS. May our hearts lead us to the truth through the waves of discourse.

Behold my stupid robot cat! His name's Zaygon
This is STILL probably my best colored illustration of him, honestly, and it was a doodle from LAST YEAR when I was watching a video about pride flags, lmao (paired Zaygon with a pan flag because, well, it's accurrate, haha!)
My watch history may or may not be 50/50 gaming and EDUTAINMENT lmao
The scale of him might actually be changed, perhaps, I just know that he is about as big as a large transformer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zaygon's lore goes that he is an alien robot (still not settled on whether that means 'robotic evolved organism', or more of a mecha/Orion's Arm vec situation) living on Mars, where he works on a remote outpost on one of the poles. Zaygon kind of rotates around between geology, and guarding smaller Not Giant Robot scientists from the local Unreasonably Large Fauna.
Some of you might have seen Zaygon before, most notably on my secret FA account that I use for stuff unsuitable for main, haha ;u;
Not sure if I should post any of that stuff here, as while it is actually extremely TAME stuff, I know Tumblr can be kinda. unpredictable in whether or not it allows adult content to Exist (tm). Maybe, though. There's an artist I follow who draws similar stuff that's actually LESS tame than what I draw, yet seems to be able to mostly get things through since it's usually very abstract stuff that's not actually explicit in any way.
IDK! But I guess if you like big monsters with sharp teeth and cozy insides, (politely) let me know, so that I know there's an actual benefit to taking that risk.

"INDUSTRIAN MECHA-FAUNA" (+care guides) - a short guide
By Maulwurf
Nokogiri Dogs
The Nokogiri Dogs' ability to rapidly clear vast forests with their circular saw blade heads makes them a devastating force in environmental manipulation. These mechanical creatures are sent out in packs, swiftly transforming lush landscapes into barren, deforested areas. The Industrians harness the cleared land to build their factories, making way for the expansion of their civilization.
Tumblr media
(shown above) Unlike the Eastern Hitachi (Marunoko's Breed), The Blacktail-Decker is slightly larger and has prominent black markings all over its body. They are especially known for their extremely loud, and sometimes haunting, whirring barks often heard in the latest hours of the night.
Introduction: The Nokogiri Dogs are awe-inspiring mecha-fauna designed to rapidly clear vast forests with their circular saw blade heads. These mechanical creatures are deployed in packs, making them a devastating force in environmental manipulation. As a result, the Industrians employ them to transform lush landscapes into barren, deforested areas, creating space for the expansion of their civilization and the construction of their factories. However, such power comes with great responsibility, and understanding how to manage and care for Nokogiri Dogs is essential to maintain the balance of the ecosystem.
Understanding Nokogiri Dogs' Purpose: The primary purpose of the Nokogiri Dogs is to clear large tracts of forests swiftly and efficiently. Their circular saw blade heads have been specifically designed for this purpose, allowing them to cut through dense vegetation with ease. Industrians have found them to be indispensable in creating open areas for industrial development and resource extraction.
Responsible Deployment and Supervision: Due to their immense power and potential for environmental impact, the deployment of Nokogiri Dogs requires strict oversight and careful planning. Trained professionals should operate these machines to minimize unintended damage to ecologically sensitive areas and ensure the responsible clearing of forests.
Environmental Impact Assessment: Before deploying Nokogiri Dogs, a comprehensive environmental impact assessment should be conducted to identify the potential consequences of deforestation in the targeted area. This assessment can help mitigate risks and devise plans for rehabilitation and reforestation efforts.
Implementing Sustainable Practices: To counteract the negative effects of deforestation, Industrians should prioritize sustainable practices. Implementing reforestation initiatives, supporting wildlife conservation, and utilizing eco-friendly technologies can help offset the environmental disruption caused by Nokogiri Dogs.
Regular Maintenance and Upkeep: To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Nokogiri Dogs, regular maintenance and upkeep are crucial. Routine checks of their circular saw blades, hydraulics, and power systems are necessary to prevent malfunctions and accidents.
Safety Precautions: Safety should always be the top priority when handling these powerful machines. Proper training and safety protocols must be established for operators and other personnel working in the vicinity of Nokogiri Dogs.
Public Awareness and Education: Promote public awareness about the importance of responsible environmental manipulation and the role Nokogiri Dogs play in shaping the landscape. Educate the public about the significance of conservation and the need for sustainable development.
Conclusion: The Nokogiri Dogs' ability to rapidly clear vast forests makes them a potent tool in environmental manipulation for the Industrians. However, with great power comes great responsibility. To maintain the balance of the ecosystem, it is essential to implement sustainable practices, conduct environmental impact assessments, and prioritize reforestation efforts. By taking a responsible approach to using these mechanical creatures, we can ensure a harmonious coexistence between technological progress and the preservation of nature.
Harvesters:
The Harvesters are a terrifying weapon in the Industrians' arsenal, using their harmonious melody to broadcast the deadly "death song" across space. The song's destructive power can reach unsuspecting planets, catching their inhabitants off guard. The planet's residents have only a brief window to evacuate before the Industrians launch their annihilative assault. This chilling tactic serves as a warning to other civilizations of the Industrians' capabilities and the consequences of resistance.
Introduction: The Harvester, a towering bipedal mecha-fauna resembling a majestic woman with a chainsaw for a face, is a chilling and formidable weapon in the Industrians' arsenal. This awe-inspiring creature utilizes its harmonious melody to broadcast the deadly "death song" across space. The destructive power of this song can reach unsuspecting planets, catching their inhabitants off guard, leaving them with only a brief window to evacuate before the Industrians launch their annihilative assault. The Harvester serves as a terrifying warning to other civilizations of the Industrians' capabilities and the dire consequences of resistance.
The Harvester's Sonic Menace: The Harvester's unique ability to emit a harmonious melody conceals its devastating intent. The deceptive allure of the "death song" entices listeners with its haunting beauty, while its true purpose lies in bringing destruction to those who dare defy the Industrians.
The Art of Psychological Warfare: The Industrians utilize the Harvester's capabilities as a psychological weapon, using the threat of annihilation to discourage opposition and dissent among potential adversaries. The echoes of the "death song" reverberate through space, leaving a lasting impression on those who hear it.
Evacuation as a Brief Reprieve: Once the "death song" reaches a target planet, its inhabitants are given a brief window to evacuate and escape the impending assault. The Harvester's tactic leaves little room for negotiation or surrender, imposing an all-or-nothing ultimatum upon the targeted civilizations.
Collateral Impact on Innocent Worlds: The indiscriminate nature of the "death song" places innocent worlds at risk, as they may inadvertently become caught in the wake of the Harvester's terrifying broadcast. The potential for unintended devastation underscores the moral complexities of the Industrians' actions.
Ethical Considerations and Responsible Use: The Harvester's power highlights the importance of ethical considerations when wielding such potent weapons. Responsible use and adherence to intergalactic laws and treaties are crucial to preventing unnecessary suffering and preserving interstellar stability.
Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution: While the Harvester instills fear, it also serves as a cautionary tale, emphasizing the need for diplomacy and conflict resolution in interstellar relations. Cultivating open channels of communication and seeking peaceful resolutions can help avert devastating confrontations.
The Path to Cooperation: The use of the Harvester and its "death song" presents an opportunity for civilizations to work together toward understanding and cooperation. By acknowledging the consequences of aggressive actions, disparate societies may find common ground and foster peaceful coexistence.
Conclusion: The Harvester, with its powerful "death song," stands as a formidable symbol of the Industrians' capabilities and their preference for deterrence through fear. Its chilling tactic of broadcasting destruction across space serves as a stark warning to potential adversaries and emphasizes the significance of ethical considerations when wielding such advanced technology. In the face of this fearsome weapon, civilizations must strive for diplomacy, understanding, and cooperation to chart a path toward a harmonious and united interstellar community.
MECHA-FAUNA CARE GUIDES
Mecha-Fauna Care Guide: Nokogiri Dogs
Congratulations on adopting your very own Nokogiri Dog! These mechanical marvels may be a bit different from your average pet, but with the right care, they can be loyal companions in your environmental adventures.
1. Nokogiri Dogs' Diet: As mechanical beings, Nokogiri Dogs don't need regular meals like living creatures. However, make sure to "feed" them with a healthy supply of electricity to keep their circular saw blade heads spinning. They're powered by advanced batteries, so keep them charged and ready for action!
2. Exercise and Playtime: Nokogiri Dogs love showing off their deforestation skills, so take them out for a spin in designated areas where they can clear vegetation responsibly. Remember to supervise them closely, as their enthusiasm might lead to some unexpected tree trimming!
3. Maintenance and Grooming: Your Nokogiri Dog's circular saw blade head should be checked regularly for any wear and tear. Sharpen the blades if needed, and keep their hydraulics well-oiled for smooth operation. A well-maintained Nokogiri Dog is a happy Nokogiri Dog!
4. Safety First: These mecha-fauna can be powerful, so remember to observe safety precautions when interacting with them. Always wear proper protective gear when handling or operating Nokogiri Dogs, and keep curious pets or family members at a safe distance.
Mecha-Fauna Care Guide: The Harvester
Ready to welcome the enigmatic Harvester into your life? With its majestic appearance and deadly "death song," it's sure to make an unforgettable addition to your household.
1. Harmonious Melodies: The Harvester loves to showcase its musical talents with its hauntingly beautiful "death song." While it might sound tempting to play this song at your next intergalactic karaoke party, be responsible and avoid using it for anything other than peaceful purposes.
2. Evacuation Drills: With the Harvester's unique ability to broadcast its "death song" across space, it's essential to practice evacuation drills with your family and pets. Be prepared, just in case your Harvester gets carried away with its performance!
3. Pamper Your Harvester: The Harvester might not have biological needs, but it appreciates a little pampering too! Keep its chainsaw face clean and shiny, and give it regular software updates to ensure its "melodies" stay in tune.
4. Galactic Diplomacy: Remember, the Harvester isn't just a weapon; it's a conversation starter. Use its impressive capabilities to spark discussions about interstellar diplomacy and peaceful resolutions. The Harvester might just help unite galaxies!
While these care guides may seem unconventional, they add a playful touch to your mecha-fauna adventures. Just remember, responsible pet ownership (even of mechanical beings) is essential. Enjoy your time with your Nokogiri Dog and Harvester, and may they bring joy, laughter, and awe-inspiring moments to your lives!

SG Beast Wars Idea: a Predacon space patrol crew, after a successful mission to retrieve some stolen protoforms, are ordered to go off course to apprehend a group of Maximal space pirates who have stolen an experimental transwarp drive and energy shields. The pirates activate the drive and the Predacon ship follows. The two ships get into a dog fight and both crash over what seems to be a planet uninhabited by sapient life. The Predacons crash in a lake while the Maximals crash in what appears to be ruined city. While the Predacons must take beast modes to survive the radiation on the planet the Maximals stolen energy shields means they do not have to do the same! In the ruined city the Maximals discover a massive still functioning supercomputer that when they activate floods them with information it gives them mysertiouse yet somehow familiar vehicle modes! Eventually both sides discover they have traveled into the far future and this is a post-apocalyptic Earth! The Maximals then set about trying to decode the information on the super computer to lean of events that have not happened yet in their native time so they can eventually return home manipulate these future events to their advantage! The Predacons now wage a war to stop them.
Oooo okay this is cool because I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about SG beast wars
OWO on the Maximals being pirates???
Fascinating that it's based on a post apocalyptic earth without humanity, does this mean the Predacons will get super interesting and somewhat fucked up altmodes based on the animals that have evolved to cope with the pressures and because eventual speciation?
I may have a favorite part of post apocalyptic scenarios, especially considering what usually happens after a mass extinction event. Life is super fucking hard to kill, and life on earth has survived more devastating things than a nuclear war that probably ended with a mutual destruction situation. Humans might not have survived, but at least some fauna, flora, ect has survived. Of course this ultimately depends on how soon after said nuclear war the mecha arrived.
Let them have super fucked up altmodes, like look at prehistoric life shortly after the Great Dying or after the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event. Shit gets nuts.

I remember you mentioned the god/dess of Gluttony in your post about Lascivious Unicronus. Can you tell us anything about them? Is their realm just like a non-stop party?
I'm so glad you asked anon! It's been a little while since I've talked about Unicronia 🥰
The Unicronian God of Gluttony is Lushus Unicronus, commonly referred to Lord or Lady Lush. I wouldn't call their realm a nonstop party, exactly, but it can get kinda crazy
Unlike Cybertron, the people of the anti-spark don't simply mine and refine energon. If they want to eat, they have to work for it; their means of gathering fuel require considerably more effort. Lushus' territory is the most fertile area on the planet, split by a massive river: one side is exceptionally dense crystal forests, the other endless sprawling fields. As kind of an homage to the og Unicron's imprisonment at the core of the earth, certain areas of the planet are capable of being cultivated and manipulated to produce various types of fuel like crops. But this is a planet where the flora can be marginally sentient and the fauna are extremely intelligent, farming and hunting can be very dangerous work. So it goes in a cycle: the first half of the year is ideal for growing their metallicrops, and the second half is for hunting in the forest.
While it's farming and harvesting season, Lushus is a femme with a single horn on the right side of her helm. When it's hunting season, Lushus is a mech with his horn on the left side. When the seasons change, Lushus breaks off one of their horns and uses it to scatter their lands with blessings of plenty. There's almost always an excess of fuel produced by Gluttony's lands, but it must always be shared with the rest of the planet; you may not take more than you need.
The minions of Lushus, those who have fallen too far into their sins, hoarding fuel and causing others to go without, are cursed for their gluttony in a monstrous way. Lushus's minions are modeled after wendigos (ffs do not say that word out loud), cursed, starving spirits of cannibalism. Their faces are gone, optics plucked out by their deity, exceptionally tall, gaunt mecha that can only wail and scream in agony. If you hear the screams of Lushus's wendigos, it's your only warning that you need to change your ways. Ignoring the wailing in the distance will likely get you dragged off to the realm of the gods and punished accordingly, either warped into one of the faceless, starving monsters, or served up to the god of Gluttony as their next tasty morsel
