***I'm going to apologize now this is probably a long post but I just need to vent about this masterpiece of an event!***

I can full heartedly say Glorious Masquerade is giving me life again 😌

JUST EVERYONE BEING SUPER FUNNY AND NICE TO THE MC BUT I CANNOT STOP GUSHING ABOUT EVERYTHING INVOLVING THIS EVENT!!

FIRST OF ALL, I LOVE HOW MUCH OF A SWEETHEART DEUCE IS TO US!

DEUCE SPADE IS SOMEONE EVERYONE NEEDS IN THEIR LIFE HE IS JUST ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE AND I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE HIM

*cough* *cough* Unlike ANOTHER person who is a cheeky asshole who should learn from Deuce (I’m kidding I love you too Ace you stupid bastard)

The Grim and Malleus banter back and forth is fucking hysterical from us freaking out about not knowing who Malleus was previously to messing around ITS SO GODDAMN PERFECT

AND MALLEUS BEING SO INTERESTED IN SPENDING TIME WITH US LIKE ALCHENFIENDJ I LOVE YOU MALLEUS!!

(And Grim being protective of us 🥹❤️)

And Idia trying to convince Grim to sit in his lap 😂👏🏻

I’d like to imagine we were sandwiched between Rollo and Malleus MY GOD THE TENSION BETWEEN THEM WOULD IGNITE THE WHOLE TOWN

Also, was anyone else crying and cringing deep DEEP inside when they keep saying so many good things about “The Righteous Judge”!?!

......But at least they're giving tons of lore, easter eggs and praise for both Esmeralda and Quasimodo (BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEY ACTUALLY DESERVE IT)

General! Lilia Vanrouge/(Platonic) Maleanor Draconia/(Platonic) Knight of Dawn-Yandere headcanons

Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce? Lilia Vanrouge 1.0. The more cold, hard and ready to behead the next human version of the usual Lilia (also known as the Lilia Vanrouge 2.0 model)

Lilia back then was “rough” and I am being nice calling him that

Back then, Lilia was surrounded by loss and a lot of Faes getting everything they ever owned ripped away from them

Of course this impacts him (I mean he is strolling through battlefield after battlefield so of course it does)

Lilia wasn't always such a devoted follower

Yes, he did believe in the Overseer, aka you, but only after witnessing the brutality that came with him being a general did he turn into a follower with such drastic views

After all, if there was no higher meaning to all this violence, to all this loss and despair, what was even the point of it all?

You became his moral, mental and also a bit of a physical crutch for him

Whenever he felt like he was this close to just giving up, he thought about you and that this was part of your greater plan (totally not part of some valley church propaganda)

After witnessing that human hiding behind the Knight of Dawn in all his haughtiness and cruelty, he finally set out on his quest not only to make the humans leave his beloved home but also to make them into loyal believers of the Overseer

But sadly, everything was for nought and Lilia had to go into hiding

The only thing keeping him going was his believe in you having a greater plan

A few hundred years later and Lilia finally found out what that supposed plan of yours was

Laying in that cold, lonely crib was the child of his old, now deceased enemy

Taking the child, now called Silver, in he learned the joy of a family, the boy giving him more joy than anything ever before in his life

Finally, he had found peace. Of course he did. This was your plan all along, right? You must have ordered those three fairies to make his beloved son survive until now, right?

You were, after all, a kind deity. There was no way this was all just a war happening because of greed. Because if this truly was just events happening after events then...

Lilia never finished that thought

The great ruler of the night fae, mighty and powerful sorceress who could fell an entire nation in one swoop if she wanted to was despite her cruel and aloof outside appearance a pretty devoted follower since the beginning

Despite being a Fae, she was feared just like her unborn son due to her powers (and being more or less being on the same level as a nuclear bomb but hey, I doubt that anyone of us would stand next to one of those, right?)

So it is no surprise that she turned to something, someone, to feel less alone

Especially after her husband disappeared did she wish for some sort of sign that she was not alone

And oh boy, did religious propaganda from the high church take that loneliness away

When her beloved son, although in an egg, was born, she visited your altar daily, thanking you for her child being healthy

(This could also be the reason why Malleus is the way he is but I am just a writer and not some all-knowing God so idk, just a theory)

She definitely has "taken care" *cough*totallynotproblematicforarulertobeinfluencedbyreligion*cough* of Fae that were non-believers

How dare their sinful ways dirty your holy image?

See? Totally not problematic

At first she only tried to protect her subjects after the humans attacked and took over parts of her kingdom

But after a while she started to have another goal

What if she shared your splendor with those little useless invaders?

Humans were most definitely vile but you were able to unite so many different kinds of Fae in your name under the Draconia name

So why not also unite those humans in your name in a peace treaty?

Such a kind God you were! Allowing for peace in your name!

And, well, if violence and destruction was needed to make those beings understand and surrender, then that shall be what they get

Besides, she was only honoring her husbands wish to get closer to the humans so who was she to selfishly aim for another goal?

The Knight of Dawn (long name, I know) did not always believe in you

Heck, the poor guy probably never heard of you until he fought the Fae

But if the humans from back then didn't really know about you, then how did he find out about and why did he start to see you as his God?

On this part, I would say, he and Lilia were eerily similair

Both were pushed into a war neither liked, so of course he was also in a very unstable situation which made him, like Lilia, search for something to hold on to

The three Fairies had mentioned before when he was still training to become as strong as he was now, mentioning a kind deity who accepted all, who loved unconditionally

Back then he only thought of you as one of the many deities that were prayed to back then

But once the war started and he saw your churches and cathedrals for the first time, his opinion slowly started to shift until he saw you as the highest being possible

I mean, all of us would if we lost all stability over night, having only destroyed buildings and a half-standing church in front of us

He hated the plundering of your sacred placed even before he became a believer, having the opinion that it was just a cultural difference between the two kinds

This led to him kneeling at the cracked altars of many of your churches, asking for forgiveness, hoping that you would understand that he didn't have another choice

What he would do to witness one of your sermons…

And when he was lonely enough, he imagined you watching down on him from up above

Just like a... a parent

You see where I am going with this?

So when he was facing the Queen he only hoped for your forgiveness, hoping that his loving family member would forgive his gravest sin, him killing a mother

And he found salvation, in letting that child and the retainer escape

Perhaps you could forgive him now

2024 Discount Options

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to announce the Discount Options for 2024. Yes, you read that correctly. These are the discount options for the whole year. Now, one thing must be made clear: THESE OPTIONS WILL NOT BE OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND. Discounts will be offered in February, April, July, and October. If you have an eligible story signed up for any of those months, discounts will apply. If you do not, then the discounts do not apply. However, this same list will be used throughout the year; I will link you all back to it as a reminder during applicable months. As a result of this, I will be offering more options than usual. There 50 characters you can choose from, separated into a number of categories. In order to be eligible, the character must play a major role in the story, such as the main protagonist/antagonist, or a strong supporting role. Every given month the discounts apply, ONE commissioner may use ONE of these characters at a time; if you are looking at this during a discount month, and see a character listed as [TAKEN], that means they will not be eligible again till the next discount month opens. With so many characters to choose from, I am hoping there will be no lack of desirable options for at least one, if not both, of the sites I presently write comms for (FA and Tumblr). If you choose a character on the discount list, your commission fee will be brought down from $15 per thousand words to $10 per thousand words. It is the same discount that applies to my OCs, which does last all year round, so they will not be listed here. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, contact me via private message. Do not attempt to claim anybody or talk business in other regards by commenting on this or any other journal or submission. Shouts are right out. Headmaster’s daughter meets the dorm leaders

Anon asked: If it’s ok I’d like to ask for a scenario where the dorm leaders meet the headmaster’s daughter who’s awful shy around people but not around animals and it turns out she will be a student at night raven. Have a nice day

Have a nice day too Anon. I hope the length of the scenario is fine :)

"Everything will be fine" said your Father.

You aren’t so sure. Those words seemed to soothe you at first but closer the door leading to the dorm leaders gets, more your hearbeats become all you can hear. You shuffle on your way, walking as usual in your father’s steps. Never you would have thought that you were able to go to Night Raven College. You may be the headmaster’s daughter but you have been told mutiple times that you magic was far less powerful than his. You knew this. That’s the main reason you’ve worked so hard to improve. You focused on a subject you were comfortable with : the animals. All you ever learned was linked in one way or another to them. How to heal them, how to communicate with them, even how to tame beasts. It may not persuade the bad-mouths of your skills but if you were here today, perhaps this is your chance of showing them your worth.

Your weren’t good with humans though. Talking to people meant worrying about what they thought of you, if you didn’t bother them, what should you say next to keep the conversation going… Still, you were always trying severely and now was not different. As you walk through the door, your think that this is your first ordeal in order to make a good impression. Then, seven pairs of eyes settle on you.

Your father already showed you pictures of the dorm leaders -and you made a point of remembering everyone's name-, however, seeing them in reality is more intimating than you thought it would be. Someone you remember being Kalim is feasting his eyes on you whereas the man with lion’s ear -Leona ?- seems pretty bored to be there. The others are a mix of "that’s not what I was expecting" and "what am I doing here ?".

"Hello ! Hello, gentlemen ! I’m sure you all couldn’t wait to know the reason of your presence here, isn’t it right ?» you father makes a dramatic pause and you feel like burying yourself six feet under "You may not know it, but I’m not only the headmaster of Night Raven College but also the devoted father of an amazing lady. Here darling, introduce yourself."

Okay, that was planned. Now you just have to say your name right ? After you just have to add a little greeting and maybe if you feel daring you can also give some informations about yourself. Easy, right ? Everything would probably been fine if Octavinelle’s dorm leader wouldn’t have spoken before you could even open your mouth.

"Hello Miss Crowley, I am Azul Ashengrotto. I heard a lot about your abilities when it comes to things related to animals, I hope we can discuss about the depth of those talents of yours, sometimes." his voice is soft while his eyes analyze your reaction.

"Already on it Azul, you don’t waste time I see » says Riddle « Excuse him, I am Heartslabyul’s dorm leader. If what Azul said is true, you must be pretty good, he knows only things that can be useful to him so you must be knowledgeable. Nice to meet you."

You’re dumbfounded. Dire seems to understand what’s you’re feeling because he comes directly to your rescue :

"Whoa boys, I’m flattered that you are aware of my daughter’s cleverness."

You know his answer is said with a joking tone but you can’t help but blush. Kalim is practically beaming at this point, you’re surprised of his silence for someone that your father described as "really energetic"

"Alas, we’re not here to tackle this subject. I think you understood that she’s going to join the other students of Night Raven. Before you interrupt, I want to assure you that the miror has chosen her. We just had some complications which led to a small delay. Anyway, I’ve gathered you here to ask you as dorm leaders to do your best to help her adjust to her new student life !"

How no, this is embarassing. You haven’t even said something yet. Okay, here goes nothing.

"Hello...everyone, I still haven’t been sorted in a dorm but no matter in which I end up, I… I’ll do my best." your voice was not unsteady, or just a little bit, so it’s fine.

Oh, it’s time, Kalim is going to speak. Was he waiting for you to express yourself first ?

"Nice to meet ya ! Scarabia dorm’s leader here, I’m excited to get to know you ! Even if you’re not sorted into Scarabia, know that you’ll always be invited to our banquets. I need to tell Jamil about this...

Banquets. Loads of people. But you heard that there was exotic pets in Scarabia’s dorm, hum…

"I guess we need to introduce ourselves too, hum ? Ok, I am Leona Kingscholar, I won’t tell you twice so try to remember it." His tone is polite despite his words, you think to yourself. He has a cocky look but something tells you he’ll be nice with you.

" And I’m Vil Schoenheit, a true pleasure to meet you. I can tell you could be a good addition to Pomefiore." the way he says this, batting his eyelashes, makes you secretly hope that his statement becomes reality.

"My name is Malleus Draconia, I am the dorm leader of Diasomnia. If your skills deserve their praise, I hope I’ll be able to see them in action."

Malleus intimidated you to be honest, and something in his way to observe you seemed to expect such a reaction from you. You did your best to offer him your best smile and proundly saw the shock upon his face.

"Idia Shroud...Ignihyde’s dorm leader" finally spoke the person who looked like he wanted to disappear. You could sympathize with that.

"Now now, looks like everyone know each others ! Let’s go everyone ! Finally, we’ll see in which dorm my dear daughter is sorted. No time to loose !" he left the room before you could even turn to see him.

You hurry to follow your father’s track before anyone can approach you -Kalim and Azul seem too eager for you to feel confortable- . The boys are fast to follow you and you jump a bit when someone puts his hand on your shoulder. Idia.

"-Hum, you...you will be fine. Welcome to Night Raven."

And you sincerely believe him.
