Introduction to visualising narrative

Using techniques for producing pictures, diagrams, or videos that communicate a message, narrative visualization tells stories using data.

In groups we discussed how we will visualise our narrative. We came up with few ideas and everyone agreed to present this project through poetry.

Each person from group selected a poem to read up on and discuss. In my poetry, Khuda Se Maanat Meri, I discuss the devastation in Kashmir. He made notice of how Kashmir used to be such an idyllic spot, but that everything has since been devastated and blooded. This indicates that the location has since lost its significance, and the subsequent generation will not perceive it in the same way. He asks God, "Why did you make this place so beautiful if it was only meant to be destroyed?"

Since my poetry was written in Urdu, it was quite challenging to translate it into English and have the same impact as if I had read it in Urdu. I consequently intended to use the original language of the poem.

With the help of several games, I discovered that the essential goal is to continue performing even if you make a mistake as otherwise, the audience would focus on it.
