yourusername: one thing I was never taught why how hard this goodbye is. I've called this company home since I was 4 alongside the best girl in the whole world. I learned so much about dancing, myself, and life. Taking my final bow after Sleeping Beauty I couldn't help but shed a tear- I'm sad to say goodbye to my home and my ballet family, but I'm happy to dance on and make them proud. Tonight I debuted with a new dance company, my second one in all my 22 years of life. Thank you so much Charles for composing a piece that speaks what I cannot. Badruu: Comedic genius. I'm pretty sure when he gave up the bard life for farming, he realized he needed to put his funny guy hat on and has been spitting puns ever since. And yet despite the dad jokes, he asks me me, the amnesiad human for parenting advice. The absolute honor. Also, I just need to see him talk with Einar, PLEASE. The comedic fallout would be unmatched.

Najuma: I make the journey to Bahari Bay every day just for her. Because 1) thanks for the glider I use that every day 2) we are besties and 3) it's good to keep a genius that can blow stuff up on your side idk. We may have different types of Momma Trauma but we are still going to bond over it.

Chayne: I don't interact with him much idk. His dad's raised him right I think. Basically, caretaker for the entire village. Also my Shepp-in-law, grand-Shepp?? idk

Hekla: Jina's caretaker. A bit aloof at first. I also don't interact with Hekla much, but one day I'mma find out what's in the tent.

Sifuu: That's my Shepp! Also a problematic mother that doesn't really understand her child and yearns for days of adventure. And ripped. There's something to be said that she gave me an ornamental sword as a gift. Like insta-loyalty from me even if I wasn't romantically pursuing your son.

Auni: We babe who needed someone is his bug hunting club but mysteriously sucks at hunting most bugs if his item requests are anything to go by. The fact that he ran away from home for the exact length of time that his delivery shift is and wondered why no one was worried is absolutely hilarious and yes I read his journal and laughed.

Zeki: First of all, why is Zeki the only one selling toilets and they are contraband? Has anyone asked this? Is it like illegal to use indoor plumbing and Zeki has the monopoly?? Secondly, I know this fool is scamming me and when I finally get enough gold I'ma buy out him and his whole underground establishment. Respectfully, of course.

Eshe: If Eshe has zero haters, I'm dead. Just because she didn't get with the politically powerful sibling, she makes it everyone else's problem while somehow still efficiently running the village. Even I gotta admit no one's doing it like her. Another member of the problematic mom club but don't tell her she's been grouped with Sifuu. She'll pitch a fit.

Tau: The fact that there's only one of him is a crime. The only good boy.

This one took me a while (had to comb through several interviews for this), but I shamelessly used this ask to create two little lists - one with weird little facts/moments and one with interesting little facts in general. Not necessarily my top five (would be super hard to pick them), but moments which I think about currently. A lot 😄

Random weird facts and moments:

Literally this interview. He had absolutely no restraint and some pick-me-vibes going on, especially in these moments: - Interviewer: 'On the surface, the title A Million Degrees seems to suggest heat or that you are implying that the music is hot or on fire.' RZK: 'Or just me!' (laughs) - Interviewer: (speaking about the possibility of Emigrate opening for Rammstein) 'Isn’t it physically exhausting, too?' RZK: 'Yeah, it’s like having two women in the same night!' (laughs) - Interviewer: (after explaining her thoughts about the title "A million degrees) 'So, out of curiosity, what was your intention with the album’s title?' RZK: 'I always knew that women were smarter than men!'

That recording an album with Rammstein can be quite exhausting is something Richard (and sometimes also other members) mentioned several times. They discuss a lot, sometimes have verbal fights, etc. - but Richard admitted that he sometimes wished for proper "Wild West" fist fights because that maybe would've also solved some problems 👀 (as I mentioned some time ago, how about some anger management my guy) (source)

Poor little lad does not understand the concept of strip clubs, plus since he doesn't drink alcohol, it's apparently abysmally boring for him in these locations 😪 Better write a strip song, fitting for a good striptease, and that's how we got the song "Get Down" (source)

Widely known, but still: this moment from this interview: - Interviewer: 'What would you spend your last £20 on?' RZK: 'How much is that in Euros, about 20? A nice blowjob! Actually, change that - a handjob. Yes, they're easy to get near where I live. I could get 20 minutes for 20€, that's good value!'

2. Random interesting (at least for me) facts in general:

In this podcast Richard mentions that the Emigrate album "The persistence of memory" essentially was a therapeutic project for him. In 2019, he fell into a heavily depressive episode after the tour and even contemplated quitting music completely. So he started to sift through his old compositions and songs he had on his computer, some dating back over 20 years, and somehow found his love for music again through those memories - and this album, which was not at all planned, was the result of this process. This is the reason why we have songs like "Freeze my mind" for example, which dates all the way back to 2001 and was written by Richard and his then-wife Caron.

In this interview Richard mentions that these four songs are his favourites (at least at this point in time): - Hurt by Nine Inch Nails - Babe I'm gonna leave you by Led Zeppelin - Sin City by AC/DC - Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode

The book "Perfume" by Patrick Süßkind (which explores dark themes of obsession and power, linked with the sense of smell and emotions), which he read as a teenager, was the reason why he wanted to create something which REALLY moves a crowd, like the perfect song. (source)

Here Richard mentioned that when his daughter Khira was younger, he played her a lot of the Rammstein tracks because he knew she would be brutally honest and give him straightforward feedback. This didn't work anymore after some time, since as a teenager she later learned how to please him and get what she wanted (let's be real, we've all been there). Plus, he's apparently a rather strict parent, believing that you have to make a lot of experiences to get forward in life and that self-discipline helps a great deal.

In this interview, Richard mentions that he likes to pick out an audience member to get an connection to through eye contact (at least this was the case back then) - and this eye contact helps him to put on a good show, most likely to play the concert for this particular fan. Plus he thinks about doing mediation after a concert, as a vent to balance out all the energy he's absorbed from the crowd.

A/N: as if it isn’t already obvious from where i was inspired to write this one shot (the connection between chris and maathp can’t be undone, but im glad)

Summary: you always counted on yourself to defend against the bullies and mean comments on the press, although now things have changed, as he will be the one saving you from running in the dark

“She’s only on the team because of her boyfriend being the captain. Otherwise she’d be in a B category”

Usually, one would find me in our room crying my heart out and with my mind racing between ‘Would Chris be better without me?’ and ‘What must I do to improve myself’.

I’ve been receiving this comments ever since mine and Christian’s relationship was announced. We had the support of friends, family and teammates and from a big portion of the fans, but some of them bite back. They don’t like what they see.

Well, they mostly don’t want to see me.

Girls hate the fact that their favorite footballer is taken and boys think I’m privileged enough to be on the Women’s USA team.

I’ve always told Chris to not respond any of these. That they don’t affect me. But they do. They hurt and I am a human, not a fucking robot.

He always wants to reply or post something on his story about defending me and leaving us to our peace, but I tell him to stay back. I don’t want anyone to hate him or have him receive nasty comments. He surely doesn’t deserve this.

We were now at Cobham, while he was training, I was discussing with the team about our next session. I decided to take a break and just scroll through my insta. I recently posted a pic of me and the team, reaching the semi-final at Copa America and once again, they were there

“You did nothing”

“Useless player”

“Only there because of Chris”

“Just leave. We don’t need you”

“Next time, I will break your phone in half and throw it in a pond” I look up to see the constantly kind Mason.

He was the only one who knew about this ugly situation. Mostly because he once caught be crying at their changing room. It was one of my most vulnerable moments. And I was glad to have him there.

“Don’t tell Chris. Please. I am fine. I’ve been used to them”

“But you shouldn’t be. Let him help you. He can shut their mouths. I know you are strong but you shouldn’t have to put up with their bullshit”

Mason sat next to me, not removing his eyes from mine. We had grown very close and was my best friend. He knew that I wasn’t in a position to pressure Chris into doing something that may hurt him publicly.

“Maybe I will just disappear from social media. The fans will still see me at the club’s posts and I won’t bother seeing the comments. Problem solved” I shrugged and put my phone in my pocket.

“You shouldn’t have to limit yourself to please others. You will say, do and post whatever you want. They aren’t in your place to understand the worries and pains of this sport”

He is right. I do agree. But I can’t fight back this time. I fear that no matter what I say, it will come back at me like a boomerang. Fuck!

Before Mason gets on to continue, Christian comes up to us with Ben following him. He looks exhausted but also with a questionable look plastered on his face.

“Why hello, Y/N. What brings you around?” Ben greets me with a hug.

“Here to support the superstar. Plus, I’ll be leaving soon for the international games, so as much time as I spent with him, the better” I smile at my boyfriend who has his arms around my waist, softly kissing my collarbone.

“All the best! Hope the team does well. We have faith in ya!”

“Shall we get going babe?” Chris asked me, looking at the time on his phone.

I simply nodded my head smiling and collectively said goodbye to his two teammates, first to Ben and then Mason.

Once I finally was for the last time in Mason’s embrace he whispered in my ear ‘he loves you more than anything and would fight the world just to see you happy’

I held Christians hand in mine and walked back to his car. The ride despise it being silent, it was comforting as my eyes didn’t remove from his beautiful physique. I loved admiring him.

In Chris, I had found true love and compassion. Feelings I thought didn’t exist, until we met.

When we reached our house, Christian dropped his bag on the floor and immediately spoke up.

“Please talk to me” he sounded like pleading.

“What do you mean?” I knew what he meant. Very well!

“Baby let me help you. Mason has told me about the incident back in the changing rooms.”

“I’m a burden to you Chris. Nothing more. And I hate doing this to me” tears start escaping my eyes.

Christian instantly wrapped me in his arms tightly. “Your name in my mind, has as its synonym the word ‘love’. You could never be a burden. More like my source of happiness”

“People are judging you for being with me and telling you deserve better. Which you do. You’re deserving of the world.”

“But you are my world. I don’t want anything fucking else but you, my dear. Let them judge. They don’t know what a wonderful woman you are!”

“What if we-“

“Don’t you dare fucking finish this sentence. I will never leave you. And neither will you me. I will fight for you. I don’t give a single penny if they start hating on me or talking shit about me. As long as you’re with me, I can handle everything else”

Chris cupped my cheeks, not wanting to remove his hands from any part on my body. I knew that without him, I wouldn't feel safe or loved. It's a feeling that only one person can create. And I am more than thankful to have had this with him.

"I don't want to hurt you, I love you more than anything that I have. I do not wish for people to hate you just because of me. This is unfair."

My eyes are bloodshot red and a soft kiss lands on my lips, as Chris has the urge to prove something to me with that move.

"A kiss, a touch and a hug of yours, are the reasons I breathe. Without you, I would be hurt. Without you life would be meaningless. Football is my career but you are my present and certainly future. I love you, Y/N and I will fight the goddamn world for you. No one else, you hear me?"

"Can you hold me like this forever? From the moment we met, I have never wanted to stay in a place so badly" I cooed softly, hiding my head on his chest.

"Baby, we can stay like this forever. Since that's what we both want, then it stands. And I had no intention of letting you go any time soon. I have planned a lot of things for us"

At moments like these, you know that if the person in front of you, would guard you with his life no matter the case, they are your one true love.

oh, before the drama, matty's literally acting like your own personal photographer any time you do anything. he's got so many cute pictures of you in the 893922 little sundresses you bought for the trip (one of these, a pic of you smiling while you rest your head on his chest, is his lockscreen), and then every time you went to the pool or beach he was like "babe i NEED to take a pic of you right now you look incredible", and you would roll your eyes but be like "ok" and immediately pose lmao. your favourite, the one you post on insta (which i think might be a private account), is one of you lying on a sun lounger at the beach reading a book captioned "i wish book club was like this all the time" - you look amazing in the swimsuit, and just so fucking cool. matty giggles when he reads your caption like "babe, if you looked like that at every book club meeting i wouldn't get anything done. s'difficult enough as it is to pay attention to the book and not you. you're quite distracting, especially in that outfit lol".

speaking of distracting swimwear... the day of the boat trip, i think you pick the sexiest swimsuit you own to wear, the set that rendered matty genuinely speechless when you did a little try-on haul at home, but you keep a cover-up on until you get onto the boat so he has no idea. and you're taking pictures with the girls anyway (and thinking up h2o just add water-themed captions as you do) when polly offers to take some of you by yourself. she posts a pic of you and gabi on her insta story, which matty (bored on the boring boat with the other girl, who's annoying him a bit at this point) views quite quickly. and as soon as he registers you and your outfit, he's craning his neck to try and catch a glimpse of you on the fun boat. polly sees him and she's like "he's looking right at you", and you're like "is he? that's nice of him" completely deadpan; you don't look over at him at all, though, until the boats have stopped and he's trying to get your attention for the front flip, and we all know what happens then lol. but yeah, that swimsuit - when things are better between you and matty and you go away on holiday just the two of you, you take it with you and let him appreciate it properly, if you catch my drift lmao <3

Seonghwa glanced at you, "Hongjoong, please take Daehyun for a while, I have to talk to Y/N."

"Aye sir," his eyes glint knowingly, taking the child and positioning him on his arms, "let's go Daehyun-ah, there's some gelato in there."

The little boy squealed happily, yelling cutely about sweets.

"I know you're surprised." Seonghwa started, speaking carefully and softly to not further agitate you.

"You bet I am."

He sighed and took two wide strides, stopping right in front of you, "I just want to say that I can't get you out of my mind after the night that we shared."

Your mouth opened to say something but no words came out, you just stood there like a gaping fish.

"And judging by that encounter, I can assure you that I could do better as a boyfriend."

Your breathing hitched, "Isn't it too early for this?"

"Right." he looked down, though he's not willing to give up.

"Let's get to know each other then, after that, we'll go to the exciting part."
