YANDERE DEKUSQUAD HEADCANONS
Tumblr media
Ochako and Tsuyu just LOVE and ADORE seeing you in cutesey frilly dresses which make you look like a baby. They like dressing you up in various different outfits and take thousands of pictures of you in an outfit in hundred different poses just so the entire dekusquad can drool over you later on
Iida and Todoroki are the actual masterminds behind all the planning like how you're going to fall in love with them, whom they should kill for talking to you and being too close to you and stuff like that which requires INTENSE planning. They are also the types of yanderes who will not hesitate to punish you when you behave badly. Yes, it breaks their hearts as much as it breaks Deku's and Uraraka's and Tsuyu's when you get punished by Iida and Todoroki, but it can't be helped. Those 3 are TOO soft with you and REFUSE to even make you cry whereas Iida and Todoroki are like the strict parent types. At least, that's what I feel
Whenever Todoroki gets out of hand like he's almost going to burn you or freeze your limbs off, the other members of the Dekusquad will tell him to calm the FRICK down and Iida will have a very stern lecture with him on how he should control his anger while Tsuyu, Uraraka and Deku will be busy trying to pacify you and baby you
Izuku will make sure you are getting enough rest and you're getting enough to eat and you're healthy, stuff like that. He's like the soft overprotective mom whereas Iida is like the strict overprotective mom. Izuku will make sure you fall asleep EXACTLY at your planned bedtime and if you can't sleep, he'll stick to your side like a LEECH ngl... or he might play some soft jazz music and help you sleep by slowly stroking your hair and petting your head. Yes, it does get the others all riled up and jealous ASF, but they don't want to start a fight in front of you since you're already scared of them, no point in making you MORE scared than you already are
They will actually have a weekly schedule so you can spend time with ALL of them. Don't worry, they will treat you like a princess and they will smother the hell out of you and spoil you rotten to death, but if you act up, start kissing your favorite things goodbye and sayonara
Uraraka, Tsuyu and Deku are kinda like the gullible and innocent yanderes who'll be really EASY PEASY to manipulate to get whatever the HECK you want. They just LOVE to baby you and cuddle with you
Iida likes teaching you new things and will occasionally give you treats and rewards for your good behavior
If they're feeling particularly nice that day, they might actually consider taking you outside for some sun since staying indoors year round can't be all THAT healthy (According to Iida's research on how to keep a darling happy)
Will always make sure you're safe and happy no matter what :)

I arrive. But TWIST- Iida thoughts! This man is so gentle in bed, terrified to hurt you because he’s so tall and muscular and his quirk could hurt if used in bed, but one day his AMAB partner asks to experiment, to try something new in bed. Iida agrees and is talked into rough sex and ever since then he has been OBSESSED. Shows up to class after the first time with his shirt wrinkled and the top few buttons undone and while he still has the straight man attitude in class, he can unwind and take all his frustration out at night-
I am obsessed with Iida and Denki. My favs.
The best way to let off steam
Iida x gn!reader (amab)
Characters are aged up, everybody is 18+
Summary: Iida is pent up and you show him a way to let go.
Words: 1,5 k
Iida the class president, the perfect student. Or that's what everybody thinks. He is horny as fuck when he is around you. Always wanting to get his dick wet in your ass or maybe your mouth if he is feeling bossy. The only thing you could maybe complain about is how careful he is. It's like you are made of glass. He's always afraid to hurt you. Scared that the wrong move could make you disappear between his hands. Like water in a desert.
It had been a rough week, between the villain attack and exams, everybody is on edge. Especially Iida he has been trying the whole week to keep the class in order. Make sure nobody steps too far out of line. But with everybody wanting to be the best, control is not the class's strong suit.
You are sitting in your room trying to study for the last exam of the week. Math had never been your specialty, so while you are trying to memorize the numbers and weird algorithms you don't notice Iida walking into your room.
As he sits down and as the bed dips you let out a yelp. He looks at you concerned for a moment but you just brush him off. "You scared me. Everything cool?" He nods slowly, but you have known him long enough to know when he is holding back information.
A single hair strand is out of place in his always perfect hair, you quietly brush it behind his ear, and a small grateful smile plays on his lips. "You know you can tell me anything, right?" He nods again, not letting a word leave his lips. It has you worried. Normally he explains everything in detail, but this silent Iida has you anxious.
You place a hand on his cheek, you move up on your knees so you can plant a kiss on his forehead. A single tear falls down his cheek and his perfect demeanor crumbles. You have never seen him cry before, he is always so perfect. Maybe that's the problem. Everyone has so many expectations for him, but he doesn't get a chance to breathe and let go.
You move around him so you're sitting in his lap. His head is hanging low, and as you try to make him look at you more tears well in his eyes. You hug him tightly not knowing precisely what is gonna help, but right now it's the best you can do.
He takes a deep breath and you wait for the words to come. "It has been a stressful week, and I... I need... a way to... emh... relax?"
A smile is spreading across your face, you have an idea. Maybe a bad idea. But an idea non the less. You kiss his jaw and down his neck. Slowly unbuttoning his shirt as you kiss down his chest. His breathing stills and for a second you're scared you crossed a line.
A breathless groan escapes his lips and that's all you need to continue. You grind your ass against his cock and you can already feel him harden against you. You continue your exploration of his body with kisses. You push him down so he is laying on his back and you can get his shirt open.
You smirk down at his toned body, he is so hot. You bend down to his abs, and teasingly slowly lick the outline of his toned muscles. He takes a hold of your hair, for a second guiding your head. He embarrassedly let go sitting back up.
"What's wrong?" You're confused, for a second you don't understand your boyfriend. He shakes his head and moves farther down the bed. Away from you. "Well, something is wrong!" You're getting annoyed, you talk things through. You are both good at communicating, this new donøt wanna talk Iida is getting on your nerves.
"Tell me at once... please." The last is almost whispered, you just want to talk about it. "I don't wanna hurt you." He mumbles making you grip his face and turn him in your direction.
"Speak up buddy." You're almost yelling, not on purpose, but this conversation is pissing you off. "I DON'T WANNA HURT YOU!" He screams back, taking you by surprise, he never yells. You can see it in his eyes, he needs this. He needs to get it all out, he is pent up. Mentally and physically.
"Continue." You say gently, just wanting him to tell you what's going on. "I'm afraid I'll hurt you accidentally, crush you, or... idk... maybe I'll accidentally use my quirk in bed, cause you feel so fucking good, and I'll fucking kill you." The room goes quiet, thoughts twirling inside your head trying to come up with a good answer.
"Maybe that wouldn't be so bad." You laugh but he is not on board looking at you like you are insane. "You know, it wouldn't be a bad way to go. Killed by fucking my amazing boyfriend. Sounds good to me." He doesn't think you are funny, but you mean it. He would never hurt you even if he tried, he doesn't have to be so afraid.
"So you're telling me to let go." He looks at you awaiting your answer. "Exactly, let go. You know what, can we try something new?" He nods his approval and you pull him up so you're face to face.
"I want you to be rough." You whisper in his ear. He shivers but isn't opposed to the idea. He as always starts carefully, removing your clothes and kissing your most sensitive spots. He runs a hand down your spine gripping your waist tightly and places you on top of his clothed cock. Grinding you down against him, have you moaning and him breathlessly kissing you.
The kiss is sloppy and rough. Tongues in a fight for dominance, not that anybody is in doubt who the top is in your relationship. He grabs your ass and pulls you as close to him as possible. You break the kiss in search of air, groaning as he presses you down against him.
He finds your asshole and something cold is spread against your ass. He is lubing you up before he presses three fingers into your awaiting hole. You moan into his mouth as he fingers your asshole preparing you for his cock.
"That's the best you can do." You say teasingly, but it quickly turns into a moan as he slams his fingers into you. You can feel yourself building towards a climax and as your body tightens ready to spill he pulls his finger back. You whimper at the loss already so lovely spent.
"You come on my cock or you don't come." He whispers into your ear as he turns you so you sit with your back toward his. He presses the tip of his cock into you making you moan loudly. He doesn't move for too long so you slam yourself down on him and he groans just as loudly as you. Breathing heavily in your ear.
He pounds up into you at an inhuman pace, gripping your cock tightly. Keeping you from cumming as he continues his assault on your body. "Is this what you wanted?" He whispers in your ear as he groans. You're milking his cock as you scream, and you can't understand why you haven't tried this before. It's fucking heaven.
He stands up holding you up and not interrupting his pounding of your hole. He smashes you against the desk and bends you down so your torse is against the table. He holds your body down as he pounds your hips into the table. Making you cry out in a mix of pain and pleasure.
Your whole body is tightening as you can feel your climax approaching. Iida's rhythm doesn't falter as he himself nears his high. You come screaming into the desk as he continues his brutal pace, not letting you catch a break before he himself has buried his seed in your ass. He grips your hair and pulls you against him as he cums. Groaning into your ear and pulling your ass as close to his pelvis as humanly possible. Burying himself in you until he comes down from his high.
He lays down with you spooning, still with his cock buried in you. Keeping all his cum from leaking from your pretty hole. "We should definitely do that again." You say breathlessly.
And let's just say you did. You were his new favorite way to let off steam, and as you said he didn't hurt you so there was nothing to be afraid of, to begin with.
On the last day of the week, the class president had for the first time arrived in class with his shirt buttoned wrong, messy hair, and a messed up uniform. And maybe it was your fault.

Unveiling Secrets
➥ summary: Class 1A discovers something new about their class president
➥ Tenya Iida x Reader

Tumblr media
Within the bustling halls of U.A. High School, Class 1-A buzzed with activity, a vibrant group of young heroes-in-training. Among them, Tenya Iida stood as a beacon of discipline and focus, always the embodiment of a model student. Yet, unknown to his classmates, his heart held a secret—an unspoken connection that would soon come to light.
The morning sun cast its golden glow through the classroom windows as Class 1-A settled into their seats, eagerly awaiting the start of another day of training and learning. As the room hummed with anticipation, the door swung open, and a figure stepped inside.
All eyes turned towards the newcomer, surprise etched upon their faces. It was (Y/N), a second-year student, her presence adding an air of intrigue to the room. Tenya, taken aback by her sudden arrival, couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement.
Ochaco Uraraka, her eyes wide with curiosity, spoke up first. "Since when did you have a girlfriend, Iida?"
Tenya's cheeks flushed with a hint of embarrassment, but he held his composure, his voice steady. "Actually, (Y/N) is my fiancée."
Gasps filled the room as Tenya's revelation sank in. The concept of an arranged marriage within their class seemed almost surreal, yet the truth of their connection began to take shape. The air crackled with a mix of shock, excitement, and a touch of envy.
Izuku Midoriya, his eyes shining with admiration, couldn't help but ask, "How did you meet, Iida? And how did your relationship come to be?"
Tenya smiled warmly, his gaze shifting towards (Y/N). "We were paired together since we were children, destined to be married to strengthen the bond between our families. But as we grew older, our feelings blossomed into something deeper. We realized that our connection went beyond duty and tradition. We fell in love."
Momo Yaoyorozu, her voice filled with awe, couldn't hide her fascination. "That's incredible, Iida. To have a love that's both rooted in tradition and genuine affection—it's truly something special."
(Y/N) stepped forward, her presence commanding attention. "Our relationship has been a journey of growth and understanding. We've learned to navigate the expectations placed upon us while honoring our individual desires and aspirations. Together, we support and encourage each other to become the best versions of ourselves."
As the realization settled upon the class, they exchanged glances filled with newfound respect. The concept of love, rooted in tradition yet blossoming with genuine emotion, was a testament to the complexities of the heart. Tenya and (Y/N) showcased a deep understanding and commitment, proving that love could evolve beyond initial circumstances.
Eijiro Kirishima, his voice filled with admiration, spoke up. "Iida, you've always been a model of discipline and focus. It's inspiring to see that even within the constraints of an arranged marriage, you've found a love that's true to your own hearts."
Tenya nodded, gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Kirishima. Our relationship has taught me the importance of staying true to myself while embracing the responsibilities that come with my family's traditions. It's a delicate balance, but (Y/N) has been my rock throughout it all."
The class, their initial shock giving way to understanding and acceptance, shared a collective moment of reflection. They realized that love could take many forms, and Tenya and (Y/N)'s connection was a testament to the depth of emotions that could develop even under the weight of expectations.
As the day progressed, the students of Class 1-A forged a newfound bond of respect for Tenya and (Y/N). They understood that love could be a powerful force, capable of transcending societal norms and traditions. It was a reminder that their own journey of self-discovery included not only becoming heroes but also nurturing the relationships that held importance in their lives.
And so, within the walls of U.A. High School, Class 1-A continued their journey, their hearts enriched by the understanding that love was a vast tapestry of emotions, intertwining duty and genuine affection. As they honed their powers and skills, they also learned the importance of nurturing the bonds that connected them, cherishing the complexity and beauty of love in all its forms.
And in the heart of it all, Tenya and (Y/N) stood as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that even within the constraints of an arranged marriage, love could flourish and ignite the brightest flames in their hearts.
•••
Time had flown swiftly, carrying Class 1-A into their second year at U.A. High School. The vibrant group of aspiring heroes had grown both individually and as a team, their bonds strengthening with each passing day. Amidst this bustling atmosphere, (Y/N) had become a third-year student, poised to embark on her own journey of growth and discovery.
On a bright and bustling day, (Y/N) found herself standing before the classroom where Tenya and his classmates convened. A smile played upon her lips as she clutched a carefully prepared bento, a tangible representation of her enduring love and support for Tenya.
As (Y/N) entered the room, the class turned their attention toward her, their curiosity piqued by her arrival. Tenya, his gaze meeting hers, felt a rush of warmth spread through his chest.
Ochaco Uraraka, her eyes wide with anticipation, couldn't help but blurt out, "Hey, (Y/N)! It's been a while. What brings you here today?"
(Y/N)'s smile widened as she held up the bento box. "I made this for Tenya. It's a small gesture to show my support and love."
Tenya's eyes sparkled with a mix of surprise and gratitude. "Thank you, (Y/N). I appreciate your thoughtfulness."
As Tenya accepted the bento, the class watched with a mix of awe and curiosity. Their intrigue had grown since learning about Tenya and (Y/N)'s arranged marriage, and witnessing the continuation of their traditions was both fascinating and heartwarming.
Mina Ashido, her voice filled with excitement, couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. "Tell us, (Y/N), what's it like being in an arranged marriage? How do you navigate the balance between tradition and your own desires?"
(Y/N) took a moment to gather her thoughts, her eyes filled with a mix of nostalgia and determination. "It's a journey of self-discovery, Mina. Our arranged marriage has been both a challenge and a gift. We've learned to find our own voices within the framework of our families' expectations. It's about cherishing tradition while staying true to ourselves."
Izuku Midoriya, his eyes filled with admiration, spoke up. "It sounds like you both have grown so much. Your love is inspiring, (Y/N)."
(Y/N) nodded, her voice gentle yet resolute. "Love is an ever-evolving journey, Izuku. We're constantly learning, adjusting, and supporting each other through it all. Our shared values and commitment to one another keep us grounded."
As the conversation continued, Class 1-A listened with rapt attention, captivated by (Y/N)'s insights into their unique relationship. They realized that love had no set path, and its manifestations were as diverse as the individuals experiencing it.
Shoto Todoroki, his gaze thoughtful, interjected, "Do you ever feel constrained by the expectations placed upon you, (Y/N)?"
(Y/N) met Shoto's gaze, her voice tinged with honesty. "At times, it can be challenging, Shoto. There are moments when the weight of tradition feels heavy. But love is about growth, and our relationship has allowed us to redefine our roles, navigate the complexities, and carve our own path within the arrangement."
Momo Yaoyorozu, her voice filled with admiration, spoke softly. "You both truly embody the spirit of heroes, embracing challenges head-on while remaining true to yourselves."
(Y/N) smiled, her heart warmed by their words. "Thank you, Momo. We strive to be the best versions of ourselves, not just for each other but for the world we wish to protect."
As the classroom settled into a comfortable silence, (Y/N) took her leave, bidding farewell to the class and leaving Tenya with the bento. She left behind a sense of awe and inspiration, her visit a reminder that love could transcend societal expectations and empower individuals to create their own narratives.
Tenya, holding the bento close to his heart, gazed at the doorway, contemplating the love and support he had found in (Y/N). Their bond, forged through tradition and nurtured by their own commitment, had shaped their journey in unexpected and beautiful ways.
Class 1-A, now even more aware of the depth of Tenya and (Y/N)'s love, exchanged glances filled with newfound respect and understanding. They had witnessed firsthand the power of tradition, the beauty of love, and the unbreakable spirit of their classmate.
And as they continued their second year at U.A. High School, the students of Class 1-A carried within them the lessons of (Y/N)'s visit—cherishing tradition while forging their own paths, embracing love in all its forms, and allowing their relationships to shape their journeys as aspiring heroes.
For within the halls of U.A. High School, the heroes of tomorrow learned that strength lay not only in their quirks but also in the love and support they offered one another. With (Y/N) as an emblem of the enduring power of love, Class 1-A embarked on their path, united by bonds that surpassed expectations and embraced the beauty of shared traditions and new beginnings.
•••
Time had flown swiftly, carrying Class 1-A into their third and final year at U.A. High School. The once-inexperienced heroes had evolved into formidable individuals, their dreams and aspirations within reach. Amidst this season of growth and transition, Tenya and (Y/N) prepared for a momentous occasion—their upcoming wedding.
In the common room of the dorms, a table was adorned with wedding magazines, fabric swatches, and carefully crafted invitations. Tenya and (Y/N) sat side by side, their eyes sparkling with excitement and anticipation. They were lost in a world of plans and possibilities, weaving their dreams into reality.
As they pored over the details of their special day, the door swung open, and the members of Class 1-A filed into the room. Surprise filled their eyes as they took in the scene before them—a tableau of love, dedication, and commitment.
Izuku Midoriya, his voice filled with awe, was the first to speak. "Tenya, (Y/N), I didn't realize you were planning your wedding already. Congratulations!"
Tenya's cheeks flushed with a mixture of excitement and slight embarrassment. "Thank you, Midoriya. We've been making preparations over the past few months, taking the time to ensure every detail reflects our shared vision."
Mina Ashido, her eyes wide with anticipation, couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "Can we help? We'd love to be a part of your special day!"
(Y/N) beamed, her heart touched by the support from their friends. "That would mean the world to us, Mina. We'd be grateful for any assistance you can offer."
As the class gathered around the table, the room filled with excitement and the scent of love in the air. The students eagerly poured over magazines, discussing ideas and sharing their own suggestions.
Ochaco Uraraka, her voice filled with enthusiasm, held up a fabric swatch. "What about this color for the bridesmaid dresses? It would complement the theme so well!"
Tenya and (Y/N) exchanged glances, their hearts swelling with gratitude. Their friends' involvement in their special day only deepened their appreciation for the bonds they had formed at U.A. High School.
Eijiro Kirishima, his voice filled with determination, chimed in, "We'll make sure your wedding day is as memorable as possible, Iida. We're a team, after all!"
Tenya's voice carried a mix of gratitude and sincerity. "Thank you, Kirishima. Your unwavering support means the world to us. Our wedding day will be a testament to the bonds we've formed at U.A."
As the planning continued, the students of Class 1-A took on various tasks, each contributing their own unique talents. Momo Yaoyorozu lent her keen eye for design, crafting elegant decorations, while Katsuki Bakugo tackled the task of organizing the explosive wedding fireworks.
Days turned into weeks, and the wedding day drew closer. The dorms became a flurry of activity as Class 1-A dedicated themselves to ensuring every detail was perfect.
On the day of the wedding, the air buzzed with anticipation and joy. The U.A. High School campus was adorned with flowers, and the chapel stood as a symbol of love and unity. Class 1-A stood proudly as witnesses and supporters, their hearts filled with love for their dear friends.
As the ceremony commenced, (Y/N) walked down the aisle, her radiant smile capturing Tenya's heart once more. Tenya stood at the altar, his eyes fixed on (Y/N) as she made her way towards him. Their love shone brightly, a beacon of hope and devotion.
The vows they exchanged were heartfelt and sincere, evoking tears of joy from the gathered friends and family. The couple sealed their union with a kiss, their love celebrated by the cheers and applause of those around them.
As the reception unfolded, the students of Class 1-A reveled in the joyous atmosphere. They danced, laughed, and shared heartfelt moments with one another. The bond they had forged over the years had only grown stronger, and the celebration of Tenya and (Y/N)'s love served as a reminder of the power of friendship and unwavering support.
Amidst the festivities, Tenya and (Y/N) took a moment to steal away, finding solace in each other's arms. They looked out at their friends, their family, and their journey at U.A. High School, overwhelmed with gratitude for the love that surrounded them.
Tenya's voice held a mix of emotion as he whispered, "Thank you, (Y/N). Our love has overcome challenges and surpassed expectations. I am forever grateful for your unwavering support."
(Y/N) smiled, her gaze filled with love and tenderness. "And I, Tenya, am forever grateful for your dedication and the love we share. Our journey has been a testament to the power of love and the strength of our bond."
And so, within the halls of U.A. High School, a love story unfolded, entwined with friendship and support. Class 1-A celebrated the eternal bond between Tenya and (Y/N), a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of shared dreams.
As they danced the night away, the students of Class 1-A reveled in the joy of their friends' happiness, knowing that love, unity, and the bonds they had forged at U.A. would forever shape their lives as heroes.

Knight Tenya Iida x fem! wife reader
TW: Mentioned alcohol drinking
Summary: After several robberies in the Kingdom a  special Knight Guard was formed, Tenya Iida being one of the selected members. They protected the people from thieves day and night, putting an end to the robberies. At least that is what they thought….
Author's Note:
Hello my dear followers. I have written a little something in my free time, that I am just gonna drop here. I hope you have fun reading it.
~Shadow
It wasnˋt unusual in the Kingdom of Edal, that groups of thieves visited the town to rob the people of their money and possessions. At first they would play the nice traveler who was looking for a place to stay. Yet, as soon as the people went to sleep, they would go from house to house stealing the most expensive items and all the money they could find. By the time the people of the kingdom woke up again, the thieves were gone and with them all of their possessions. To prevent these types of robberies, the King created a special Knight Guard. The Knight Guard would go into town at night once unknown people would show up to stay. The knights would go on patrols with a partner and walk through the streets of town, day and night, until the strangers were gone again.
(Y/N)’s husband, Tenya, was one of them. He came from a long line of knights, so it was no surprise that he began his training once he was old enough as well. He had served the King for a few years before he and (Y/N) got married and then he was selected to be a member of the special guard. Now he spends a lot more time at home with her during the day but would go out on patrol at night. Sure, (Y/N) was happy that he was home during the day, but some nights she missed him dearly and felt rather lonely. These feelings grew exponentially during the cold winter months which found her awake at night, worried that he was freezing outside and left her pondering if he was okay. Those nights started a new habit of her staying up to brew warm tea and run a hot bath for him, awaiting his return once his patrol was over.
Those nights tended to include Tenya scolding (Y/N) for staying up into the early morning hours to wait for him. However, he was thankful to return to a hot bath, warm tea, and the loving embrace of his wife. Over the months, it became a routine he looked forward to once he returned home. This didn't change once spring started and then turned into the hot summer. By then, it was a rare occurrence that thieves visited the small town and the patrols got less and less frequent.  With fewer patrol shifts, Tenya was able to spend most of his days and nights with (Y/N).
Since there had been no robberies in the past few weeks, the guards decided to take a day off and go out to the pub to have some drinks. There were a few travelers in town, but they hadn’t tried anything till that point so the guards felt it was safe enough that they could take a break for a day.
Tenya had been hesitant at first as he didn’t want to leave (Y/N) alone. With her reassurance that she would be fine and that it would be beneficial for him to spend some time with his friends and colleagues, Tenya ended up agreeing to go out. (Y/N) knew that Tenya was in good hands so she decided to not wait up for him and go to sleep early. She assumed that by tomorrow he would be tired, since he probably would have to take care of his drunk colleagues.
Once (Y/N) had finished up everything for the night, she took a bath and went to bed, falling asleep with ease. Noises from the kitchen startled her awake.. It was completely dark outside which (Y/N) knew meant that she had slept for a few hours at least. She had assumed that Tenya had come home and she nearly called out to him, before she heard shushed voices.
That wasn't Tenya.
She knew that something was wrong and she didn’t dare say a word even if she could find her voice. Instead, she stood up as quietly and carefully as possible and moved to the wardrobe that Tenya had insisted on buying for them. The wardrobe was rather big and after she had put all of their clothes into it, she could still comfortably hide behind her dresses. Whenever she had a bad day or an argument with Tenya, she would hide in there to calm down.
Now she was using it to hide away from the unknown intruders inside her home. She hoped Tenya would return soon, before they could find her. Tenya on the other hand was already on his way back, having a weird feeling in his stomach since he had left their shared home hours ago. Only now that his colleagues were rather tipsy could he manage to go home, telling them that he didn’t feel too good. He just hoped that the weird feeling was wrong and that everything, especially (Y/N), was alright.
Once reached his home, he was ready to release the breath he didn't know he was holding until he found their front door ajar. He stopped for a moment, trying to hear anything that could be alarming. The town was quiet besides some muffled sounds coming out of his house, as if someone was searching for something, and hushed voices. As silent as possible, Tenya entered his house unsure of what to expect. In the kitchen, all the cupboards were opened and every single corner was left in chaos.
Tenya noticed that a few things were missing before he continued to look through the rooms. Each one was left in disarray and things were scattered on the ground. Above his head he could hear the thudding of footsteps, so he made his way to the stairway and slowly ascended them so as to not alert the intruders.  He knew that upstairs was only their bathroom and their bedroom.
A cold feeling washed down Tenya’s back as he realized that (Y/N) was probably still asleep, unaware of the thieves in their house. He was still able to stay calm as he had not yet heard any screams from her. When he had reached the top, he saw that the unknown thieves had already searched through their bathroom, which meant they had to be in their bedroom. Something inside him snapped as he realized how much danger (Y/N) was in right now and without hesitation he ripped open the door to the bedroom. The sudden bang of the bedroom door startled the thieves and he  knocked out the one standing closest to him before grabbing the second one that had tried to escape through the window, knocking him out too. Tenya quickly scanned around the room. (Y/N) was nowhere to be seen so he called out her name.
(Y/N) was still hiding in the closet when she heard footsteps and people entering the bedroom, talking to each other in hushed voices. Even through their low volume she could hear ‘how the Knight and his wife were out for the night and that they could easily take their stuff’. A quiet gasp left her as she realized that the two people outside of the wardrobe that stood in her bedroom were thieves. She curled more into herself at the realization, trying to make herself as small as possible in case they tried to search through the closet. That was when she heard how the door flung open followed by a groan of pain. She could hear the thuds of fast footsteps and another groan. After this, there was only silence, until a familiar voice called her name.
“(Y/N)?”
It was Tenya.
He was home. He was home and had saved her from the thieves. (Y/N) didn't realize that she had started to cry once she heard Tenya’s voice until a sob came over her lips and she blinked wet eyes. Tenya heard her sob and instantly knew where she was. Carefully, he opened the doors to the wardrobe pushing away some of (Y/N)’s dresses to find her curled up hiding behind them.
“Oh, (Y/N), I am so glad that nothing has happened to you, my darling.” His voice was filled with relief at the sight of her.
Tenya immediately took her into his arms, carefully pulling her out of her hiding space, to sit down on their bed with her on his lap. (Y/N) immediately clung to him, the fear settling in only now that she knew what had been going on. Tenya didn’t say anything as he held her close to him while carding his fingers through her hair to comfort her. Once (Y/N) had calmed down a bit, her trembling ceasing, he softly spoke to her.
“My love, I am so glad that you are alright and that I have arrived in time to save you from those thieves. I know that you must have been scared and I know that you won’t feel safe here for the rest of the night. I will take you to the pub, since they still have an open room and you can sleep peacefully while I take these two to the prison.”
He looked at the two knocked out thieves with disgust clear on his face as (Y/N) nodded, not ready to speak just yet. With her approval, Tenya stood up while still holding her in his arms, leaving the house and carrying her to the pub. Once there, he explained the situation to the owner. Immediately, he got the key to the room where he sat (Y/N) down on the bed and promised her to be back as fast as he could before he wrapped the blanket around her.
He then left the pub to bring the two thieves to the prison guard. After that he went back to the pub, nearly running to get back to (Y/N). He knew that she probably was still out of it and that he needed to comfort her.
Once he entered their room for the night, he saw that (Y/N) was still sitting on the bed with the blanket wrapped tightly around her still. She looked at him before she opened her arms to him for a hug. Tenya didn’t hesitate, immediately accepting her hug. After a few moments he laid down on the bed and pulled her on top of him to hold her close to him, giving her a feeling of safety and comfort.
“Thank you, for saving me.”
(Y/N)’s voice was quiet and soft as she spoke, clearly tired, now that the adrenaline had left her body. Tenya just held her tighter, wrapping the blanket around the two of them, as he felt how (Y/N) slowly started to fall asleep. Her body relaxed on top of his as she drifted off.
“No problem, my love. I’ll always be there to save you.”
With that he pressed a small kiss to her forehead, closing his eyes and drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

Stove Burn
(Thinkin bout all the times I’ve accidentally burned myself using a stove or oven. Like I never got seriously hurt, but I’ve definitely set my bare hand on a metal pot of boiling water more than once. I also wanted to write Tenya, boio don’t get enough love imo.)
Tenya Iida x Reader
Genre: Fluff, can be taken as romantic!
Summary: Reader is cooking and accidentally burns themself when they forget the oven mitts. Class rep comes storming in seeking out the danger.
~~~~~~
You were in the kitchen that early evening, everyone else off in their rooms doing their own thing. The gentle sound of controlled, burbling boiling water filling the kitchen as you moved quickly. You were making a rather large pot of noodles for everyone, setting the stove on low as you quickly moved to dig a large strainer out of the cabinet and place it over one side of the sink.
You moved to dig out a large bowl next, setting it on the counter as you moved to cut the vegetables. Big tests were coming up for you and your dorm mates, so seeing as you were caught up in studying for the time being, you took it upon yourself to cook dinner while everyone else put focus into studying.
It was hard work, having to plan out proportions for an entire class instead of a family sized dinner, but you were sure your friends would appreciate your attempt at feeding them all, and if worse came to worse, you had extra supplies to cook more if anyone was still hungry.
You set the knife down before grouping the vegetables into neat, diced piles on the cutting board. Turning back to the pot of noodles, you stirred them for a moment, finding them to be perfectly cooked. Satisfied and proud of yourself, you shut the stovetop off and went to move the pot.
Thankfully, you hadn’t yet lifted the pot, but the searing pain to your fingers and palms had tore a shriek from you as you quickly recoiled. A quick glance showed you weren’t seriously hurt, maybe some cold water to neutralize the light burn.
Nonetheless, you wanted to at least strain the noodles before the still-hot water overcooked then any.
Spotting the oven mitts by the cutting board, you quickly moved to retrieve them just as a familiar voice broke the ambience of the kitchen.
“I heard a scream! Is everyone alright?!”
You turned as Tenya’s face entered the doorway, and before he could freak out thinking you’d cut yourself you quickly turned and presented your hands to him.
“I’m alright! I’m alright! I just touched the pot without any oven mitts by accident.” You quickly explained as Tenya stepped forward, gently taking your hands in his own to assess the damage.
“I see. Well you don’t have any visible burns but I still suggest you run your hands under some cold water! You can leave the straining to me.”
“Alright.” You found you couldn’t refuse him, slipping your hands from his to move to the sink. In your peripheral, Tenya appeared with the oven mitts on his hands, carefully moving the large pot of noodles off of the still-warm stove and over by the strainer you’d left in the sink.
You stepped aside for a towel to let Tenya strain the noodles, and once your hands were dry you moved the large bowl you’d gotten out over to the sink for Tenya to pour the strained noodles into.
As you took the bowl of noodles to the other side of the kitchen, Tenya piped up as he glanced around.
“Did you cook all by yourself tonight?” He asked, taking note of the vegetables you’d cut and the dinnerware already counted out and set aside.
“Yup!” You huffed, setting the slightly heavy bowl down on the counter with a dull thud, “I got caught up with my studying for now, so I figured I’d let everyone else catch up on theirs while I cooked dinner. By the way, could you pass me those wooden spoons over there? I need to stir this all up.”
You poured the vegetables into the bowl as Tenya appeared at your side once more with the spoons you’d requested. You uttered a soft ‘thank you’ as you began stirring, and Tenya took it upon himself slip around you, collecting the cutting board and knife to take them to the sink.
“So did you finish studying too, Tenya?” You piped up, ignoring the protest your arms gave from mixing.
“Yep!” He chirped, speaking a bit louder over the sound of the faucet as he washed the utensils and dishes you’d used to cook. “Finished up enough studying for today like you, so I had come down to see if anyone had started dinner.”
You hummed in response, deeming the noodles to have been mixed enough, you set the bowl aside and returned to Tenya’s side at the sink. “Well, I think it’s about done! Think you could go get everyone for me? I can take over the washing dishes there.”
“Sure thing! Just don’t burn yourself again while I’m gone!”
“Hey I’m not that clumsy!”
Yes I do!! (Lil ficlet under the cut to go with the comic and flesh out some of the world)
The Wisteria House
Shouto beheld the room he was supposed to share with the other boys, face impassive. The others seemed like they’d forgotten he existed. He recognised three of them from the end of Final Selection. The boy with glasses and strange hand movements, the girl with a pink hairpiece, another boy with green hair. Then there was the foreigner with a strange accent and no sense of propriety that was definitely not at Final Selection. They had introduced him as ‘Rody Soul’, a weird name. English, apparently.
They told him they’d chosen to travel together after finding their paths had crossed on missions, no word on the last boy that had been at Final Selection with them, the blonde who had threatened the attendant. No word either on the mysterious sixth person that the attendant had mentioned and no one had seen, not that Shouto cared about any of it. They weren’t important, not to his mission.
He watched as the three boys picked their bedrolls, a fourth and final left empty for him. The girl, who had introduced herself as Uraraka, had been given a separate room. So he was left to share with the other boys.
He watched them, the tall one- Iida- nagging fondly, the foreigner too casual, Midoriya playing worried peacekeeper. They were obviously friends, even he with no experience could see it. He'd seen the interaction itself happen a thousand times.
He gripped Touya’s box in his hands, even as his body and his cracked bones protested having to carry anything. But he knew that he couldn't stay in this room.
His brother would be awake soon. And they-
No one would understand. A swordsman and his demon brother. They'd try kill Touya.
No one was allowed to kill Touya.
He watched the three talk for a moment more, expression blank, before he turned on his heel and slid open the door.
"Todoroki!" The voice froze him in his tracks. "Are you alright?"
He looked back at Midoriya, unable to read that look on his face. He recalled, memories muddied by time, that Fuyumi used to despair about him not knowing feelings, his or other people's. She'd say it to Natsuo, or Touya, never to his face, but he knew. He didn't care. She'd only gotten more right.
"I'm fine." Shouto kept it curt, clutching the box in his arms. "I need space."
"Do you need the doctor called back?" Iida gestured stiffly, voice firm and gratingly loud.
"No, I'm fine." He shifted closer to the hallway, to his escape. He heard a rustle of fabric inside the box, only audible through proximity.
He wondered if this was the part where other people panicked. He cast around for a deception, flimsy as it was. What was it Touya said once, six years ago? 'A believable lie was almost true'?
The foreigner looked at the standoff, a little sparrow sitting on his arm. He gave her a little pet with his finger before he spoke in rudimentary Japanese.
 "Is something... wrong?" His accent snipped at his consonants, the words slightly less halting then Shouto expected from how out of place he acted. Or was Shouto the one out of place?
He needed another almost truth. "I need some space. I'll be back soon."
He left before they could challenge him on it, bare feet padding on wood grain as he tried to find a space where he could ask Touya if he could behave. It was worth trying.
He looked at each room, wondering if taking Touya up onto the roof would be their best chance of privacy, more noises rustling out of the box in his arms. So preoccupied he didn't notice the girl until she'd dodged him, a rolled-up bundle of blankets in her arms. "Sorry- are you okay?"
"Fine." He felt he was overusing the word now. "I'm going outside. For air." Maybe the old lady would be asleep, and wouldn't see-
"Are you sick?" Uraraka pressed the question, leaning towards him. He reared back on reflex, trying to keep distance between them before she heard-
There was a loud knock from inside the box.
Her eyes widened, showing off how vividly brown they were, and she opened her mouth. Shouto hurried past her before she could speak, whether it was a question, a realisation, a statement, anything.
He managed to get outside, the half-moon hanging high amidst the stars as he walked to the most secluded part of the garden he could find, hopefully hidden from view. The ground was cold and damp under his feet, dew forming on the grass around him as he set down Touya's box and knocked twice on the wood.
The door opened as a swathe of fabrics flopped across the ground, a tattered black haori and blue kimono, before a mop of fluffy red hair peeked out, a few spikes of white dappling the crimson.
Touya looked at him with those big eyes he had in his small form, and then he grew, snow white overtaking most of his hair as his eyes narrowed and he somewhat filled out his clothes. Not very much. Even as a demon Touya stayed skinny.
Touya was scowling. Or pouting? Either way, he wasn't happy, so obvious that even Shouto could tell as Touya poked at him. Shouto leaned back enough that Touya's long nails, purple shifting to blue, failed to nick him.
"I couldn't let you out before. This is a Wisteria house." Shouto explained quietly, holding his brother's grumpy gaze. "There's at least three other demon slayers here. They could hurt you."
Touya huffed behind his muzzle and crossed his arms childishly. Shouto shifted so he was sitting next to him on the damp ground, the chill soaking through his sleepwear and skin.
"... Are you mad at me, Oniichan?"
Touya glanced at him before grunting once and nudging him with his elbow.
Shouto hoped that meant 'no'. He didn't like when Touya was angry. "We should be fine to leave soon. They said my shoulder and ribs are the worst off. My leg is almost healed too." Kan-Sensei had taught him a little bit of recovery breathing. It helped.
Touya's arms uncoiled from their crossed position as he stared at the sky, not looking at Shouto even as he draped an arm loosely over his back, no weight in the gesture.
Touya wasn't mad at him. Good. Shouto leaned into his side as much as he could without his bones protesting, feeling exhausted. The fight had been difficult, too many demons to keep track of, even before it had been won by the arrival of the other corps members. He should have won it himself anyway. He'd spent six years training, why hadn't he won it?
Touya huffed a nonsense sound, pulling Shouto from a useless train of thought. He shouldn't think about the past beyond the objectives it gave him. "We can stay out here a while, but you'll need to stay in the box otherwise."
Touya groaned through the muzzle, head tipping back as the moonlight outlined his profile, his blue eyes glowing in it. Sometimes Shouto wondered how much of his brother was still in there beyond what he'd awakened in the snow six years ago. Did he remember Natsuo and Fuyumi? Mother?
Did Shouto?
He yawned again, accidentally inhaling the smell of ash and smoke that clung to Touya's haori. It reminded him of burning charcoal.
He ignored a faint tightness in his throat, speaking through it to remind himself of what to focus on. "It won't be long. We'll be back to curing you soon."
He just needed to sleep his wounds off. Touya's usual cold felt soothing to his bones, leeching away the ache stored in them as Shouto let his eyes close. Just for a minute. Not for long. He couldn't let his guard down when his brother needed his protection from demon slayers.
Just… for a minute…
//
Shouto opened his eyes to darkness, softness under and over him. The moon wasn't there, only a ceiling. He heard the sounds of deep, sleepers' breaths, looking to the side. He could barely see, but he faintly made out the shapes of the other three boys, all resting.
He was back in the wisteria house? He looked to his other side, a blocky shape in the dark that he confirmed to be Touya's box with a touch, the woodgrain familiar to calloused fingertips.
Did he fall asleep? Did Touya carry him inside? What if someone had seen him, recognised him for what he was? He moved to sit up, shifting under the covers. A growing coldness sat in his stomach, heavy enough to begin twisting him up, illogical as that thought was.
He paused when he caught the scent of ash and smoke. He reached up, realising there was a spare bit of fabric between him and the heavy blanket, hidden away from any eyes. The fabric was thin and well-worn to the point of softness, and he recognised it as Touya’s haori, tucked around him like a secret.
The weight was gone from him, and he almost managed a smile as he very carefully, very quietly, knocked a knuckle against the wood of Touya’s box. He hoped Touya understood it meant ‘thank you’, and everything else Shouto never had the words for.
There was the tiniest tap-tap back.
LESS THAN ZERO
ts/modern au
sero x gn!reader
sfw
insp by less than zero by the weeknd
this was so much better in my head idek if ill leave it up :/
———
“who’s next?”
“i’ll go! cmon tsu!”
you grin watching ochacko pull tsuyu on stage with her, a pop song soon bouncing through the speakers.
sero found himself watching as you downed your drink, smiling at the way your face scrunched at the taste of the alcohol.
“are you gonna talk to them, or just stare like a creep all night?”
“i’m not staring like a creep!”
“it’s not like you’ll get shut down, you know that.” denki gave him a knowing look
he sighed, flexing and unflexing his hands.
“i know, that’s the problem.”
this was the first night in months everyone had been able to get together from your friend group, and somehow mina convinced everyone to come to a karaoke bar.
it was also the first group outing since you and sero had broken up.
the year you two had spent together was one of the best of his life, and he regretted being the reason that ended every day.
sero was used to people trying to use him to get close to bakugou, izuku, or kirishima, all of them being in the current top five heroes. he’d even had someone go as far as to start a relationship with him, their true motive being to try to sleep with shoto. of course, shoto didn’t entertain this at all, but that hurt stuck with sero for a long time.
you’d met mina before anyone else shortly after she graduated high school, and she quickly introduced you to the rest of her friends. truth be told, hanging out with a bunch of pro-heroes was extremely intimidating, but they were all welcoming and kind to you from the start. other than mina, you were always the closest to sero, so it wasn’t exactly a surprise when you two started dating.
but his insecurities ate him up. he was always afraid that you’d leave him for someone better, especially because you were friends with with the same people he was afraid of you leaving him for. and that was the demise of you two’s relationship. the worst part? you were so kind and understanding, even with the countless times you’d gotten your feelings hurt or wrongfully accused of something. and that’s how he knew he was the one in the wrong.
he blinked a few times, refocusing on the scene in front of him, laughing as ochacko and tsu sang terribly off-key into their microphones.
you found your eyes on him from across the room, smiling at the grin spreading across his face.
it would be a lie to say you didn’t miss sero. you were truly dating your best friend, and losing both at once wasn’t easy. and it was hard to tell if you two maintaining the same group of friends made things easier or more difficult. you wondered sometimes if you were too quick to pull the trigger on you two’s breakup, or if maybe you could’ve been a little more understanding when he was explaining his fears to you.
your stomach drops as he catches you staring, giving a small wave. he gives you a playful nod, smile never faltering.
as the night went on, more alcohol went into everyone’s system, and you got to see performances ranging from izuku belting ‘i need a hero’ to todoroki, to momo breaking out songs from the hamilton soundtrack, to denki singing ‘dangerously in love’ to jirou like he was getting paid to do so.
to everyone’s surprise, sero steps up to the dj to go next, cheeks tinted pink with intoxication.
your eyes widen as the song begins to bounce through the speakers, your friends whooping and cheering as sero adjusts the microphone.
“remember i was your hero? yea, i’d wear your heart like a symbol. i couldn’t save you, from my darkest truth of all.”
at first he’s just singing to the entire crowd, but as the song carries on, he makes his way over to you. soon he’s sitting next to you, thighs brushing together as he dramatically serenades you.
“i can’t get it out of my head, no i can’t shake this feeling that crawls in my bed. i try to hide it but i know you know me. i try to fight it but i’d rather be free”
at this point, kirishima and denki are dancing around to back sero up, mina is squeling excitedly, and even bakugou is whooping in encouragement.
by the time the second chorus comes around, your cradling sero’s face in your hands, singing along with him. while both of you are singing horribly, it begins to feel like the rest of your friends fade away, and it’s just the two of you speaking the lyrics to each other.
“cause i can’t get it out of my head, no i can’t shake this feeling that crawls in my bed. i try to hide it but i know you know me.”
before the song can go any farther, you take the mic from sero, tossing it out of the way and pulling him against you to kiss him. the room erupts in cheers, making both of you grin and momentarily pull away from each other.
“well it’s about time!“ iida exclaimed. this sends everyone into a fit of laughter, sero discreetly pulling you into his lap as you wipe a tear from your eye.
katsuki nudges izuku, nodding towards you two.
“i told you. hand over the twenty, nerd.”
“ugh, fine!”
“you guys bet on us?” sero raises a brow, turning your attention towards their conversation.
“yea, i bet deku twenty bucks you two’d be back together by the end of the year.”
you can’t help but smile, noticing an odd look on ochacko’s face.
“were you in on this too?!”
“you two are practically made for each other, how could i not?!”
you chuckle as you look around the room, the expressions on everyone’s face letting you know they were in on the bet too.
“now, hold on! a kiss doesn’t necessarily mean you won, kats. are you guys back together?”
you turn to look at sero, finding his eyes already on yours. he raises his eyebrows in question, unable to wipe the grin off his face.
“yea, we are.” you say softly, watching his eyes light up.
he kisses you quickly as your friends burst into excited chatter, wrapping his arms around your waist.
“i missed you.”
“i missed you.”
Night was falling. Flames from a small fire shot up cheerfully and five tired hikers warmed themselves around it, talking about the events of the past weeks.
— My magic didn't work on these creatures at all — said Ochaco. — I still have a lot to learn.
Everyone shuddered at the mention of nasty flying monsters.
The only one who knew who the mysterious beasts were was [Reader] but she wasn't going to reveal it to the rest of the group.
She played her role, one of many previously prepared for the destinations. As the queen of Kamino, she was taught from a young age to take on various characters and put on appropriate masks. This time she chose the role of a wise woman who didn't stick her nose out from behind books. She changed her appearance and became a quiet mouse. One of the advantages was that she did not have to completely shed her highly developed manners and higher education, which would have been difficult for her to hide.
— Thank you again for saving us, Your Higness — she said to Shōto, who nodded and returned to sipping the aromatic brew of phosphorescent mushrooms.
— It was amazing — Izuku added and began to mumble in fascination.
It didn't take a few moments for him to start writing something down in the leather book he carried with him throughout the journey.
The only person who did not speak flatteringly to the prince that evening was Katsuki Bakugō — the last living representative of a wild tribe from the South and the owner of a huge dragon. With a frown on his face, he repeatedly announced that he didn't need rescuing. Todoroki did not accept his challenge to a duel, which was considered a personal grudge. Finally, in order not to escalate the situation, [Reader] asked the blonde to go collect more firewood. Despite this, curses and the sounds of branches could be heard coming from the forest, which (judging by the cracking sounds) were probably broken by the force of muscles.
— So, if I understood correctly earlier, you are going to try? — Shoto asked.
— Yes. — Ochaco pulled her cloak tighter around her. — We hope that we will be able to convince the oracle. I want to get money to ease the burden on my parents. Along the way, I met Izuku, who wants to become a hero. As for [Reader]… — the girl trailed off.
Until now, she hadn't really thought about what the scientist's goal was.
— My wish is a secret.
— Anyway, she's the only one who knows the way to this place. — Without her, we would probably have been wandering for a long time. Katsuki joined us later. He saved us from monsters similar to those your majesty fought this morning. Then he said he wanted to get to the cave as quickly as possible and joined us. I didn't even try to ask about his wish, I'm too afraid of him. — She pouted. — Along the way, we also met Tenya Īda, a noble knight following an ancient code and...
This was going to be a long story.
— We have a lot of adventures behind us. — Izuku smiled. — And now we're a day away from our destination. I think it's time to rest a bit.
Thus the blankets were distributed and the company fell into a deep sleep in the midst of the ancient forest.
Some time later, Katsuki also joined them. Ever since they first encountered the beasts, they had been on guard duty. That evening, he was first in line.
However, he didn't wake [Reader] up so she could take over his shift like he should have. As he approached and tried to pull her from sleep, she muttered something about five minutes and then began to snore softly. The blonde wanted to shout at her but eventually he adjusted her blanket, added his own and only muttered:
— Sleep well, idiot.
He didn't want to admit it but the scientist caught his eye at the very beginning of the trip. In the first days, she stayed away from him but after he rescued her from the hands of a famous thug called Stain, their relationship warmed up significantly. Sometimes, sitting under the stars, they talked about various trivial and serious topics, enjoying each other's company. They also happened to fly on a dragon in the moonlight.
This was the guard that Katsuki wanted to send, a being who, contrary to appearances, is very intelligent but cunning. It was hard to get him to do any favors other than tearing to shreds and burning everything he could find. [Reader] seemed to be his favourite though because he even let her pet his muzzle. For most of the group, this was an unattainable phenomenon.
In reality, however, the dragon instinctively sympathized with the girl, after all, like her, he was pretending to be someone he was not.
The mythical animal flashed its eyes and nodded in agreement.
The wild one needed sleep too. He planned to reach the oracle with the others in the morning.
This is how the last night before trials passed.
***
At dawn, the travelers said goodbye to Prince Todoroki and his brave white steed and headed towards the caves.
They managed to open the mysterious door to the underworld because Izuku solved the mysterious riddle thanks to his knowledge of mythical heroes.
The dragon had to stay outside, there was no chance of dragging the huge creature into the narrow corridors.
It was dark inside, so Ochaco turned on the light on the end of her wand. They went deeper, trusting the [Reader's] notes, which actually belonged to the castle's book collection. The air was thick, stuffy and stale. They passed stalactites and stalagmites, occasionally scaring bats, to see the mysterious path and the shadow at its end.
When a person hears the word "oracle" they usually imagine a beautiful woman. However, it turned out to be an older man with long black hair who introduced himself as Shōta Aizawa. He obviously just woke up.
— You're interrupting my nap, you idiots. — He rolled over.
— We came to take trials — Izuku said.
— All of you?
He was answered by four nods.
— Great, let the trials begin or something... — He rubbed the sleep from his eyes. — Oh, I would have forgotten. Only one of you will reach the end and I will grant theirs wish. The rest will fly out of here faster than you can imagine.
No one was prepared for such a quick turn of events. Especially the young queen when she realized her hopeless situation.
Before they could ask anything more, white light surrounded the hikers.
This is how the journey through a strange maze full of traps began. It was somewhere above the caves. This was indicated by the green grass, clean air and daylight.
During the trials, Izuku came to the conclusion that he could become a great hero without his wish, willingly giving his chance to the others. Ochaco said that if it weren't for [Reader] who saved her from the thorny vine, she would have beend dead and she honorably retired. They disappeared in a cloud of dark smoke and that was all that was seen of them.
So Katsuki and the false scientist remained on the battlefield. They reached the end of the maze without any major obstacles. There were two shining swords lying there and nothing else.
— I think they want us to fight. — The girl raised her sword.
She took lessons at night but she was aware that she had no chance against the wild man.
— I won't fight you because you pose no challenge to me. — Hey you, Aizen, or whatever your name was, come up with something else! — he shouted at the top of his lungs.
— A fight is a fight, these are the rules of the final trials — the man said in a dispassionate voice.
He was sitting on the wall, unnoticed so far.
— I don't give a damn about your games. You can't force me. — The blonde crossed his arms on his chest.
— You will die here.
— You have to watch us, otherwise you wouldn't be here to begin with. You want to sleep, so going away is not an option for you — [Reader] deduced.
It was a mistake. A nasty smile appeared on the face of the previously calm man, heralding trouble.
— I know you inside and out. I also know what your wishes are. You want your family back, Bakugō — he continued. — Do you even know who you're up against here?
A shiver ran down the girl's neck and she tightened her fingers on the hilt of the sword she was holding.
— Enlighten me.
— Queen [Reader] of Kamino — he said in a quiet voice, then disappeared in a black cloud and reappeared on the wall.
— Katsuki, listen...
— A family of murderers!
The girl could barely withstand the force of the angry boy's attack. The hail of blows fell with unexpected speed. [Reader] felt adrenaline coursing through her veins as she tried to use any defense. Every breath she took was burning with fire because the enemy did not give her even a moment's respite.
The blade clanged as it hit the floor and the girl felt the blade close to her throat. After a moment, she saw him raise it up to deliver the final blow. Her ears were ringing. She tried to articulate a sentence but her voice refused to obey her.
— You've won — a scathing voice whispered to the last of the wild people — I told you I'd make you fight.
The sword was pulled back to a safe distance.
— Get her out of here before I change my mind!
— NO.
[Reader] felt like she was doing one of the biggest stupid things in her life but she had responsibilities and debts to pay. Even if she was defeated and had to be on her knees begging for help.
— It's not fair. Why should I be judged for something my parents did? I know they murdered your tribe fighting for the land but it's not my fault. It's also not the fault of the humans, who will soon face an army of beasts called Nomu. The ones you dealt with along the way. My people don't stand a chance against them. My wish is to stop Shigaraki, their master. I know that tens of thousands of nameless people are nothing to you compared to the parents you lost but I'm going to ask you to use my wish anyway. If revenge or a crown is of any value to you — she felt a lump in her throat — then I'm ready for that too.
— Enough of these sappy speeches — said Aizawa.
With these words, he snapped his fingers and [Reader] disappeared in a cloud of dark smoke.
***
— Your Highness. — Maiden bowed. — Our savior, Katsuki Bakugō, has arrived.
[Reader] nervously adjusted her diadem and smoothed her dress.
— Let him in.
The boy entered as if he was oblivious to the dozens of pairs of eyes watching him in the throne room.
In fact, he admired the craftsmanship and wealth around him. Like all the way to the palace. The city had been blooming and prospering for a year. When he made his wish, he was not fully aware of how many lives he was saving. Now, with so many residents in front of his eyes, he was convinced that he had done the right thing. Strangers who recognized him on the street began to congratulate him, invite him to dinner and give him flowers. This wasn't what he expected.
Even more so, he didn't expect that his heart would accelerate so much at the sight of her.
— I thought I'd drop by.
He had the same cheeky smile as before.
The girl gracefully descended from the platform to kneel in front of the blonde. There were quiet whispers in the room:
— It is not proper to stand higher than Her Highness.
As if on cue, each courtier lowered themself to the floor and bowed their head. There was complete silence.
The boy felt his cheeks turning red.
— I'm not going to kill you or take your crown, so get up, you idiot.
There were murmurs again:
— The hero insults Her Highness?
The queen obediently stood up, dismissing the court with a gesture. A sincere, warm smile appeared on her face.
— It's good to see you again, Katsuki. I would like to thank you for your wish. After the oracle sent me away, I was almost sure that I would have nothing to return to and yet I am standing in my own palace among my subjects.
— You declared me a hero and publicly confessed your parents' sins. — He glanced at her.
— I know it won't bring your family back but I want to fix as many mistakes as I can. Is there something you want? Do you have any treasure or reward in mind that I could repay you with?
— I don't need anything — he muttered.
Suddenly the distance between them decreased dramatically. The boy couldn't stop following every detail on [Reader's] face. The last rays of the setting sun passed through the colorful stained glass windows and danced in the girl's hair and eyes.
— They say every knight should be kissed after saving a damsel in distress — she whispered.
— Well... I think that sounds good.
Bakugō expected it to be just a kiss on the cheek but he received so much more. The girl's lips were soft and warm. He swore he felt sparks spread throughout his body. He placed his hand on her cheek as if he wanted to hold this moment in his memory longer.
From behind the closed door one could hear:
— They look so cute together...
— You see, man, I said that it's a wedding, gimme that three gold coins...
— Youth, I used to be the same...
[Reader], smiling, moved away slightly.
— I think I'm in love, you know? — She looked at him from under her eyelashes.
— That's good, because so do I. — He pulled her and kissed her again.
   It was only a few weeks ago that you were feeling happy. There were no worries in the world, and all you could do was enjoy life at that moment.
   But now, all of that happiness is gone. It went down the drain.
   The life in your eyes is also gone, devoid of color. You could feel the puffiness on them.
   At first, you did not do much. You could only sit there, staring at nothing but looking emotionless.
   However, all it took was seeing a photo of her or hearing a mention of her. The next thing you knew. You were bawling.
   Your mother.
   Tragically, she passed away in the hospital a few days ago. You always remembered seeing her whenever you got the chance. God, you could only feel pain in your chest, seeing her hooked up into many tubes and sedated. The doctors said she could still hear, although sometimes you doubted that. Regardless, you would always talk to her about everything and anything. It ranged from your gushing to her about a nice date with your husband, Iida, or your plans about meeting up with an old high school friend. You told her all.
   And unfortunately, now, you cannot tell her anything.
   You were grateful that your hero agency was more than happy to give you a couple of days off to grieve, but lately, you isolated yourself in your shared bedroom. You would hug a pillow and cry into it, not caring if you would get it all dirty with your tears and snot. All that came out of your mouth was sobs, but sometimes, you whispered a few things.
   “Mom, why did you have to leave me?”
   “I love you mom, forever and always.”
   “I’m sorry, Mom. I'm so sorry…”
   Yet you knew she would never reply to you. Hell, you even sent her a text a day after her passing, thanking her for being the best mom ever and hoping she was happy wherever she was. But you knew she would never read it. It was a painful reminder that she was gone. She would never be there in your presence.
   And all you could do is imagine (or even hope) that she is watching over you.
   Then a knock came upon your door.
   “Darling?”
   You recognized that voice, it was Iida. While you did stop your cries, you stayed in that same position, refusing to get up and let your husband in. You wanted to continue to dwell on your sadness. Alone by yourself.
   But you could not ignore the other part of you that needed comfort.
   “(Y/N), is it alright if I can come in?”
   “Yep,” you replied, your voice nearly cracking.
   Then the door opened, and from the corner of your eyes, Iida walked.
   He never thought his heart could break into millions of pieces again, but it did. He hated seeing his beloved spouse hurting so badly.
   Iida carefully sat down on the bed next to you and placed a hand on your cheek, gingerly wiping any oncoming tears. “How are you coping, my love?”
   Your eyes continued to focus on the photo of your mother. “Okay, I guess.”
   Iida looked at you solemnly. “I know it has been hard. Your mother's passing was so unexpected. Quite frankly, I’m in disbelief. I was even praying that she would get better.”
   “It sucks so badly, Tenya,” you sniffled. “For the past month, seeing her in the hospital always scared me. It looked like she was in so much pain. There was always that part of me that was losing hope that she would pull through, but the other part of me wanted to continue having hope, you know? That she would get better.”
   You could only think about the memories you had with her. The way she reacted when she found out you got accepted into U.A. The way she reacted when you started dating Iida and had them meet each other. The way she reacted to seeing you graduate high school and become a full-fledged hero, even marrying Iida just in a few years.
   You could never forget seeing her in the hospital. Back when she was still able to talk. And what she told you, as a soft but weak smile grew on your face.
   “You take care of yourself for me, okay? Continue doing your best as a hero and look out for your husband and the rest of the family.”
   If anything, it felt like those were her last words to you.
   Silence dominated the room.
   Then a sob.
   “DAMN IT!” you cried out, the waterworks practically flooding. And at that moment, Iida immediately went in and lifted you to engulf you in his arms. Rubbing your back with his hand, you sobbed into his chest.
   “Why did Mom have to go so soon?! I-I mean, I know her condition was worsening, but why did it have to take an even terrible turn?! I– God, I felt like I never got the chance to properly say goodbye to her. And now she’s gone! I’ll never be able to talk to her again, or visit her, or anything!”
   You slowly ran out of words to say, and all you could focus on was crying.
   By that point, Iida felt himself tearing up too. He always thought of your mom as his own. Iida could remember the first time he met her after dating you; she made him promise that he would take care of you, and he did. And by the time of your wedding, she thanked him for becoming the husband of her child and reminding him that he would always be her son-in-law.
   But Iida knew that you needed him now more than ever. For now, he stopped the flowing of his tears and continued hugging you as you sobbed.
   It felt like an eternity before your sobs died down into sniffles. As you moved away to wipe your tears, Iida gently placed his hands on your shoulders.
“(N/N), look at me for a second, okay?”
   You did.
   Iida took a deep breath. “I can’t stress enough that this has been difficult, especially since you lost your mother. And I know many people say that things will get better, but I understand if it doesn’t appear that way for you. Death is arguably one of the worst things we can experience. It takes away people we love, and we can never see them again. But darling–”
   He placed his hand on your cheek once more, caressing it with his thumb.
   “--I need you to know that your mom loved you, and she is very proud of you. If you ever need to cry, then do so. I would prefer you to do that than bottle up your emotions. And remember that you have your friends, family, and especially me. I will be here, twenty-four-seven, if you ever need to cry. I promise.”
   More tears fell down your eyes. But from grief this time, but from happiness upon hearing those words.
   You immediately hugged Iida, burying your face in his chest. “I love you so much, you know that?”
   Iida rubbed your back once more. “I love you more, my dear. I will keep my promise to my mother-in-law that I will take care of you.”
   Right now, things are pretty rough. You doubt you would even stop the sadness from overcoming you for a while.
   But you know that with Iida, he’ll slowly help you accept and heal. And that you can truly feel happy in your life again.
-
a/n continued: so tragically, yesterday afternoon, when i came home from college my dad informed me that my mom had passed away :( it was one of the hardest things i had to hear, and i’d been crying ever since hearing the news. i don’t wanna dwell too much over my mom’s condition, but all i can say it she was hospitalized last month, the condition worsened, and she ended up passing away. i wanted to write another iida drabble in memory of her, simply because i remember i used to constantly gush over him to her when i was getting to bnha, and he ended up becoming the only anime character she could recognized. whenever we texted, she would sometimes send pics and gifs of iida and it made me smile knowing how much she knew i loved him. it’s going to be hard accepting that my mother’s gone now. it had been one of my worst nightmares after she gotten hospitalized. but ik that for the sake of myself and my entire family, i have to be strong and keep her memory alive.
mom: thank you for being an incredible mother. i’m thankful for everything you’ve done for me, and i’ll do my best to continue making you proud. rest easy now <3
WORD COUNT: iirc... 1-2kish?
//i am so drained... do i have to edit this oldie?
...
im not gonna, actually. for now. maybe later? sjsjs
not long after finishing both school and college, shoto and the rest of his friend group all agreed upon sharing a house together. it was a four bedroom home. shoto had the smallest room, saying that he didn't mind of having seeing as he had the least stuff. then the next size up belonged to tsuyu, then tenya and lastly the biggest room was shared by the couple: izuku and ochaco.
the four bedroom home sat just outside of musutafu. surrounded by some plain fields. the nearest shop was a few miles away. possibly a fifteen minutes drive from the house.
at first everyone was excited to move in as they all unpacked their stuff and decorated the place to how they like it. the next few months was enjoyable and free. tenya and izuku got jobs in the main town as police officers. tsuyu worked at a vetinary owned by her parents and ochaco worked at a takeaway shop for the moment as she still searched for jobs that may fit her best.
shoto was the only one who didn't have a job. he felt guilty for not doing so. but every time he applied for a job, no matter the qualifications for it, people refuse him for it. whether it's because of his looks, the way he talks or they always come up with excuses to not employee him. he's apologised every time to his friends about it. they all didn't mind about his situation and understood him fairly well. though the four were admittedly frustrated with the jobs workers for their excuses and insults towards the youngest of the group.
it was nighttime in japan. everyone in the shared house was fast asleep. all lights were off for the night. until shoto jolted awake, gasping with anxiety, as he hears strange noises come from downstairs. he catches his breath for a moment. hand clutching tightly to his chest, his ears strained for noise. it sounded like someone was playing a piano. who would be up at a late hour just to play music? shoto questioned.
he slides out of his bed, grabbing his phone besides his pillow as he turns the torch on from it. reaching for his bedroom door he sneaks out of his room. the once muffled noise much clearer.
shoto follows the carpet down the landing and to the stairs, hearing the tune coming from the front room. he goes down the stairs quietly and carefully as can be. holding with baited breath for any noise to be caused as he went down the steps, but none were made.
eventually he steps into the hallway. the front rooms door was closed over with only a small smidge of a gap showing between the door and its frame. shoto walked over and opened the door a tad more for himself to peek his head through.
there in the corner of the front room was an unknown woman playing a mythical tune on the piano. fingers gliding elegantly against the keys.
he doesn't recognise the woman at all.
then the music stopped. the woman sitting at the piano sensing shoto's presence almost as she slowly began to turn around. shoto peeked his head back out into the hallway only to jump in fright to see a sleepy tenya standing right before him.
"what are you doing awake so late at night, shoto?"
"i heard someone playing music and decided to check it out."
tenya quirked an eyebrow up, "music? no one in this house plays music."
"but there was someone in that room just now playing on a piano. if you don't believe me then look!" shoto shoved the door open wanting to prove to the taller boy what he saw but as he and the mentioned older one looked past the doorway, there was no person to be seen nor any piano.
shoto felt his breathing hitch as he looked into the same corner of the room as before. there was no woman nor piano, only a television screen on a black stand in the corner with some gaming consoles sitting on the stand.
"there's nobody here, shoto. maybe you're hallucinating again. have you taken your medicine before heading for bed?"
shoto nods, "i did take them, tsu reminded me to... but i promise you someone was there! i clearly saw them!" shoto perked his head up to the blue haired adult who seemed to sigh in defeat.
"i think you should go back to sleep. we'll talk about this in the morning."
"but—"
"goodnight shoto."
tenya left immediately after. leaving shoto to stand alone in the hallway. he glances back over his shoulder towards the corner of the front room again, just about missing a white orb floating past the television screen as he turns back around with a frown creasing his face as he heads for the stairs and to his room, turning off his phones torch along the way.
immediately shoto headed for his bed, laying under the thermal blanket as he stared at his door for a moment until sleep fogged over his consciousness bringing him into the darkness.
the sun flitted through the windows of the dining room as all the adults sat around the table eating their own breakfast and taking sips of their drinks. everyone, minus for shoto, were dressed ready for their daily jobs. the memory of last night flashing through shoto's mind over and over causing him to frown again as he ate his breakfast.
"i'm heading early for work now," asui says, her voice bringing shoto out of his thoughts, "there's an emergency visit at the vets." the girl says as she stands from her seat at the table and heads for the kitchen to place her dishes into the sink.
"stay safe tsu!" ochaco announces as the green haired girl nods, saying bye to everyone else.
the sound of the door closing shut could be heard in the distance from where the quadrigeminal still sat.
eventually afterwards, one after the other, tenya, izuku and ochaco left the house for their jobs leaving shoto all by himself as he stood in the kitchen cleaning everyone's dishes as he always offers to do so.
it helps him keep motivated every morning, shoto told the group one time.
a few minutes after and shoto was done. with all the dishes stacked on the draining board and him drying his hands off with a kitchen towel, he soon after exits the kitchen and into the front room. last night flooding his mind once again this morning. shoto couldn't help but glance in the corner where the television screen was.
was it a hallucination like tenya said? he wasn't quite sure anymore. either way he knew what he saw no matter the consequence of it. whether it was real or fake.
shoto grabs the remote on the settees right arm and sits himself down on the said seat. squishing himself against the corner of the arm and the back as he switched on the television and began flicking through the various channels looking for something, anything, that was at least a small bit interesting but he couldn't find anything so with a sigh escaping from him he turns it back off and heads for his bedroom where his phone and a mini speaker on his desk sat.
shoto turns both devices on, his phone connecting automatically to the speaker as he scrolls through his music app looking for a song that piques his interest as of that moment. once finding it he taps on it, hearing the music begin to play through the speaker. turning up the volume a tad so he can hear it clearer.
like usual with his everyday life, shoto had nothing to do but scroll through social media over and over. there was nothing for him to literally do for the day. the house was clean of dirt. the cupboards and fridge-freezer were full to the brim with various food and some drinks. minus for the people he lived with, he had no friends to go and meet. it was super cold and drowsy outside anyways and shoto didn't want to go out in the dreary outdoors.
so with slumping back against his bed, shoto drops his phone besides him on the pillow and decides to fall back asleep for the day. no one was here to stop him from doing so.
the next few nights went by fast but shoto's anxiety picked up more throughout them causing shoto to be wary of going to sleep. since the first night, he's been hearing and seeing strange stuff that shouldn't even exist in the house. seeing figures of people he didn't know. everyone in the house thought shoto wasn't taking his medications again and was starting to hallucinate just like tenya said that night; but he wasn't.
shoto knew that all the stuff he was hearing and seeing was as real as his own being.
it got so bad that every night there was always someone catching shoto out in his actions of searching around the house.
the figures he saw were all different from one another. women, men, other. child, adult or teenager. scary, peaceful, neutral. standing still or doing some motion.
night time rolled around once more and shoto was sat up right in his bed scrolling through his phone. looking at anything possible. seeing photos of old classmates that he wasn't particularly close to or reading articles that keeps popping up on the search engine out of pure boredom. sometimes watching a video if it looked interesting enough in his opinion as well.
when suddenly, a scream occurred from the other side of the hallway. shoto perked his head up at the noise. questioning whether or not to check on the noise. what if it's just something playing tricks on him again? he wondered. he hesitated at that moment. the noise sounded far worse than anything he's heard for the past week.
so just like all the other nights, shoto gets up from his bed and exits his room. the noise came from the bedroom in front of him.
tsuyu's bedroom.
he pads over to the other door and knocks on the wooden base, "tsu. are you okay?" he questions, waiting patiently as can be for an answer, yet nothing came from the other side. anxiety settles in his stomach at what could have made the girl scream. was she in danger or just having a nightmare? either way, he opens the bedroom door, warning the greenette girl about his entering.
he shuts the door over behind himself and turns back around only to be filled with fright at what he saw.
a large splatter of blood covered the wall ahead of him. tsuyu's figure pinned against the wall. her stomach and chest teared open showing the insides. no heart was to be seen.
"tsu!!" his voice echoed louder than he's ever been causing his other friends to wake up and run into the room. tenya was about to scold the boy until he, izuku and ochaco saw what was going on; seeing the situation of their now deceased friend.
ochaco was immediately on the phone to the emergency line. tenya looking around the room to see what could have went on as izuku pulled shoto into the corner to ask him questions.
"do you know what happened?" the greenette boy asked the younger who seemed to shake his head side to side.
"i heard scream coming from this room and decided to investigate on it... i asked tsuyu if she was alright but i got no answer so i let myself in and that's when i saw her... like this." shoto motioned towards where tsuyu was still pinned up against the wall.
a shudder leaves shoto as he glanced at the older boy, "izu i'm telling you, something dark is in this house and it's only getting worse."
"we can't jump to that conclusion until we've got evidence sho." the greenette shook his head at the younger boy.
shoto frowns, "if you say so; i know i'm right though."
since then a funeral was set for tsuyu asui. nobody could find the evidence to what killed her. the people who came to her funeral was everyone in the house, her family members and some other friends too. as shoto stood around on her funeral day, there was something off putting in the air. it was an eerie feeling. not because of the fact that his friend died... but the feeling was like a warning of some sorts to him and his friends.
shoto has tried telling the other three about it but they didn't believe the words he said about the current situation.
a few months go by since then. nothing much has changed other than the fact that a friend member was missing now every morning. izuku has locked the door to tsuyu's room off to everybody else.
the air around the friend group thickens with coldness over time. a depressive mood settling in for the four young adults.
shoto was just making himself a drink of a hot beverage when he hears footsteps walk across the floorboards up above him. he took no notice of it all, thinking it was either tenya, izuku or maybe even ochaco just heading to the bathroom or something.
the air in the kitchen colds over similar to fresh ice out of a walk-in freezer. dark chuckles comes from behind shoto causing him to stop in the middle of making his hot drink. a cold draft hits his face. shoto turns to look behind him to see what it was, only to have a hand covering his mouth, keeping him still of where he turned. it wasn't human. the hand was rough and had scales. claws for fingers. slender and a decent amount of strength to hold with. its jagged claws digging into his cheeks.
a dark shadow loomed over his figure. so tall, shoto could see the face of the creature bending over and meeting him face to face, upside down. a cheshire grin creasing its scaly features. sharp red eyes glowing in the dark. pointy ears stretching out. the creature was almost as tall as the height of the ceiling above.
"don't make a sound." its voice was like a module changer. going through various tones and pitches. high and low. soft and deep. scratchy and smooth. the voice sent shivers down shoto's spine.
"good..." it says after seeing shoto listening. feeding off the boys fear that coursed through him. it leans impossibly even closer to shoto. "you're the only one who's seen what's been going on around here, aren't you?" it didn't wait for shoto to answer the question "how about we make a deal. if i let your other friends live then you'll let me feed off your soul."
it let's go of shoto's mouth, wanting to hear his answer. shoto rubbed at the sore places on his face from the tight hold of the creature. gasping in any oxygen through his mouth as he did so. the creature still leaning tall over him. practically trapping him in a cage of sorts. "how do i know if you're telling the truth?" he glared at the grinning creature.
"by signing a contract~!" it sings. the creatures stands properly up in an animation-like way. a weird noise coming from its back making shoto inwardly cringe at the sound. out of nowhere a piece of paper appears in the creatures hand. it shoves the paper into shoto's hold and says, "i've already done my half and its your turn." its grin widened showing shoto the writing on the piece of paper; something red splattered besides the handwritten signature of the creatures, he had a guess of what it was but he didn't want to ponder about it, already feeling anxious at the idea of what it could very well be.
"i... can't sign it though," shoto begins "i don't have a pen or anything." he tried to excuse himself, not wanting this at all.
the creature then wraps an arm around shoto's shoulders, leaning in towards him once more as it says, "you don't need always need a pen to sign a contract." it says in a weird raspy tone.
shoto was confused at that, wondering what the creature meant until with a quick second shoto felt a stinging sensation come from the side of his face. he raises a hand up to his cheek feeling a deep cut right under his left eye, blood oozing gruesomely out as some dribbled onto the piece of paper. it hurt immensely. worse than a damn paper cut or a blister!
the creature seemed to laugh manically after. snatching the contract paper from shoto as the blood dried fairly instantly into the sheet. the paper was whizzed away out of nowhere. shoto was fearful for what the creature may have done. what did he sign up for with this strange thing?
the creature disappeared not long after. shoto headed for bed but he couldn't sleep; he didn't at all. his anxiety rocketing to levels far past paranoia after the meeting with the creature.
morning once more rolled around fast. everyone was sitting at the dining table again as shoto walked into the area, a yawn escaping between his lips loudly, he tried to cover the yawn up with his hand. he waved at the trio who seemed to just be sitting around finishing up with their food and drinks as they greeted the youngest of the group who decided to sit at the table and lie  his head on the surface; not in the mood to satisfying his stomach for food this morning.
tenya iida seemed to notice the ideal. being the very observant overprotective fatherlike figment he is to his friend he asks to the dichotomous young adult, "what time did you go to sleep, shoto?"
shoto lifts his head up at the mention of his name, blinking slowly at the blue haired other as he shrugs then turns his head back down sideways on the slowly-warming table surface.
tenya seems to sigh. feeling frustrated at shoto's unhealthy habits. he didn't say anything though of shoto's trajectory. he carried on eating his breakfast and joining in soon after into izuku's and ochaco's conversation after izuku asked him of something.
an hour passes by. shoto left everyone downstairs and went to his bedroom wanting to be alone for more reasons he could count on his fingers. he sat still as a statue on his bed, chin resting on his curled up knees as he stared blankly at the wall ahead of him. nothing was rushing through his mind. no thoughts, sense of feelings or anything else. he was a blank canvas ready to be used.
he barely blinked, only breathing so quiet and slow until a voice comes from the corner of his room. shoto points his eyes over to where the noise came from, not moving his body at all. nothing was there. no figure or anything else. just a plain, empty corner that shoto had no way in filling up with stuff. but the voice happened again. then again and again... and again until it was directly in the middle of his mind.
his once empty mind now overtaken by a familiar sense of darkness.
he couldn't quite hear what the voice was saying fully. only some snippets of words.
"selfish."
"paranoid."
"untrustworthy."
"kill."
"kill... kill!" it screeched right at him. shoto winces at the inner screech clutching his hands to his ears on instinct, forgetting the voice was inside of his own mind. what was it telling him to kill, why? either way he wouldn't accept the command. he won't kill anybody no matter what.
"don't you see what they did to you?" it whispers again.
"you're nothing to them!" it says louder than before.
words and sentences repeating over and over melting into a pot of word mixed stew.
shoto didn't realise he was standing. he couldn't feel his own limbs reach out for the wanting of the creatures commands. his eyes were clenched tight, not noticing his hands were off his ears either, the ghost feeling still there.
the voices got louder and louder until a scream rips from his throat echoing down the whole house. he shouted for it to shut up.
it did.
shoto waited a few seconds. breathing heavily.
he opens his eyes only to wish that he never opened them again.
the entirety of the downstairs rooms were covered in blood. bodies of his friends strewn about, limbs missing as they were thrown everywhere.
a sharp blade of a knife lied in his right shaky hand. it falls to the ground with a clang as bowed his head down.
he feels the presence of the creature nearby, behind him. shoto turns around glaring at the creature, his teeth clenched together as he pointed the knife at it. "you lied to me..." he says.
the creature only seems to chuckle as its eyes glowed with pride. "don't you know that demons are all deceitful?" it chuckles louder after.
shoto, seething with anger, lunged for the demon with the knife. hoping to aim for its chest but his task failed. the demonic being easily held him in position, clearly stronger than him as it ripped the knife out of his hold and throwing it away with a clanging sound in the room besides the two.
it whispered lowly to shoto. grinning psychopathically, "did you really think you could get rid of me?"
shoto tried to budge out of its hold. failing in doing so. he feels a sudden horrible, warm sensation around his stomach area. something sharp digging its way through his intestines. the demon was killing him as shoto felt himself losing drastically to the battle of life and death.
the last thing he sees is the demonic creature holding all of his guts grinning like a wildcat before everything goes dark.
Kitty Cat Dreams
Behind the glass of the window, it was undeniably Izuku, signature curly evergreen hair and freckles sprinkled across his cheeks and nose. He was dwarfed in what looked like an uncharacteristic oversized gray sweatshirt, his neck swathed in an indigo scarf that Shouto couldn’t remember ever seeing on him. Cuddled in his arms was an overly large, tricolor calico cat who was very happily enjoying the attention Izuku was lavishing on his ears. A rounded mug of tea sat half-drunk near him, a scone laying untouched on the plate in the middle of the table.
At the sight of the greenette Shouto’s day instantly brightened and he went to say hello, making his way quickly inside, the jingle of the bell and the sound of purring, dainty meows, and the smell of tea and baked goods greeting him.
His footfall fell to a stop, however, because as he rounded the corner with a polite nod at the older cyan woman with antennas who greeted him it was soon revealed that Izuku was not in fact alone.
Tenya Iida x Reader with piercings
Authors note : Hello Hello. I didn't thought that i would say this, but damn it is hard to write, when to stand shortly before your graduation. So I am really sorry that it took me so long, but well here it is now. Also i kind of didn't put the reader as his S/O, since i didn't really had an idea for this. But i still hope you like it.
~ Shadow
Summary: When you arrive at UA with a lot of piercings, you give your class representative nearly an heart attack.
Warnings: none, besides piercings
Tenya was shocked to say the least when you entered the classroom for the first time
nearly everywhere on your body were piercings and this was definitely against the school rules
You didn't even had a chance to sit down, before he walked up to you and told you that you "could not wear these piercings to School"
You on the other hand were just staring at him, not really knowing how to react to it
No one had ever told you before, to not wear your piercings at school, especially not someone you didn't even know
After the blue haired boy finished his speech, telling you to not wear them again near him, you just nodded and went to your seat
soon after a girl with short purple like hair entered the room and sat down besides you
she introduced herself as Jiro and complimented you on your piercings
you thanked her and you two started to talk more often
soon a friendship between the two of you was formed
with Tenya you didn't had much to do for quit some time
You first started to really talk after you and him got paired up for a presentation
Tenya was hesitant to work with you, thinking that you would just sit around and let him do all the work
He was more than surprised when you showed up that same evening, knocking on his dorm door, asking if he would like to already start on the presentation
he nodded and let you into his room where you sat down on his bed
You presented him a list with different parts and topics of your subject, asking him wich ones he would like to do
He slowly reached for the list, took it from you and looked at it
You had parted the subject into four smaller ones, each one having some small explanations under it
He looked at you again and just now realised your missing piercings, while you looked at your hands
Feeling his eyes on yours you looked up at him, to see him looking at you with a quizzed shine in his eyes
"Is everything alright Iida-kun ?"
Still in a trance he asked bluntly
"Where are your piercings?"
You where caught off guard by his question, but simply answered
"You didn't like them so I took them out before I came here."
To that Tenya just nodded and finally decided on two of the topics
Over the next week you two worked at your topics and met up every second day to work on the Handout and tge presentation
Tenya watched you throughout this time, realizing that you wore your piercings to class, but never when you just were with him
He didn't exactly know why, but it made him feel sad
He got to know you a lot better and saw you as his friend, a very good friend at that
So the next time you planned to meet up, Tenya came yo your room far too soon
When you opened the door, you quickly apologized, stating that you still had to take out your piercings, but he stopped you
It surprised you, but Tenya himself just started to apologize
"I am very sorry for I have treated you at the beginning of this school year. I don't hate your piercings, so please do no longer take them you while you are around me."
He then bowed to you, wich placed a smile on your face
Of course, you accepted his apology, and you both left for the library, you joking about how he also should get a piercing
And him just moving his arms like a windmill, embarrassed at the idea, while a great relationship started to bloom between the two of
