we’ve all seen the cement brownie she tried to give to chuu on her birthday vlive..... yeah....

she always skips like half the steps when she’s following recipes and then gets confused when her food doesn’t turn out the same like,, Heejins sweetie pleASE-

lowkey can’t cook but she thinks she can because you hype her up too much

like she will serve you a dish that will somehow be both burnt and cold at the same time and you still tell her she did amazing because it makes her so happy and that’s all that matters

your guys’ favourite thing to make together is probably cupcakes or cakes

because you get to bake them and Heejin gets to decorate them, and they always end up looking and tasting immaculate

everything in your guys’ relationship works better when you’re together, you two simply complete each other :’)

Hyunjin:

not only does she make the most kickass bread but girlie really is a chef of all cuisines too

you still don’t know how or where she even learned to cook so well but you aren’t complaining at all

whatever you feel like eating, Hyunjin knows how to cook it to absolute perfection and she always offers to teach you how to make your favourite dishes

you two also have matching yellow cat aprons uwu

the kind of girl to either kick you out of her kitchen for distracting her while she’s making a meal or else back hug you and help you stir a bowl with her hand over yours all romantically

it literally just depends what mood she’s in at that very moment

highkey loves loves loves cooking for you and surprising you with dinner after a long day, because her favourite thing to do is put a smile on your face :D

Haseul:

starts off really strong and sticks to the recipe... but then her mind wanders and she's like,,, well,,, what if i add this????

and you're like haseul,,,, please don't put chilli peppers in Kim lips birthday cake, i promise she can do without them,,,,,

she finds cooking in the dorms a bit stressful, doing her best to feed the hungry members after a long day of practice

so cooking with you tends to be a much more therapeutic experience, just you two, a bit of music and some tasty treats

but she of course brings back plenty of wonderful bakes for her members to enjoy too, they're literally her babies she is can't just let them STARVE 😔🙄😢

lowkey pretends she's having trouble stirring so you'll reach from the back and help her with the spoon all romantically

said sacrifices are usually cupcakes and cakes that don't rise, burnt food or just complete mush that doesn't even look like food

however, when yeojin is fully dedicated she can pack a mean lunch, sometimes she makes them for you when you're going off to school/work, and she always makes sure presentation is A+

prefers to just go out to cafes/restaurants on dates rather than cook

but that doesn't mean there haven't been times where you and her have been in the kitchen at 2am, trying to make a gigantic cake for you and all her members to share 😌

Vivi:

has the most peaceful, lofi cooking playlist ever

you two work in harmony, always helping one another but never tripping over the other in the kitchen

it's so harmonious it's like.... y'all were meant to be or sumn idk 😳😳😳

however if u try to eat any batter she will smack ur hand and be like no ⛔ that is for LATER hfhdhd

her hair always gets tied up in the cutest little bun when she's baking, and that along with her fairy apron makes her look like an actual princess

she also LOVES cooking/teaching you how to make her favourite foods from Hong Kong that she'd always make with her mom

those meals always help her when she's homesick, and with you by her side make her feel like she's not alone 🥺

CEO of pretending she has everything under control when in reality she has absolutely no idea what’s going on

wants to put your apron on you every time but she’s always way too shy to ask so she just resorts to back-hugging you until you get the hint and let her tie a cute little bow behind your back with the apron string hehe

makes pretty decent food when she’s not flailing around and panicking over a single grain of rice that escaped from the pot or something

however she refuses to admit when she messes up in the kitchen

like she could burn something to a crisp or use completely the wrong ingredients but she’d still eat every bite just to prove she’s the best cook in the house

if your food sucks she will tell you to your face, followed by a kiss so you forget about the fact she just roasted your cooking skills lol

Jinsoul:

Jinsoul gives off Hawaiian shirt drunk uncle at the family barbecue vibes who won't let anyone near the steaks

and you're like,, Jinsoul do you even know what you're doing????????? to which she responds - "food, heat, it's cooking. isn't that all i need to know?"

chaotic but refuses to acknowledge the chaos she causes in the kitchen

so when you have baking dates u have to keep such a close eye on her to make sure she isn't going to poison anyone with her creations

once she gets into it tho, she's grooving around the kitchen in her little robot apron, dancing to Christmas songs when it's not even Christmas and just 10/10 having a blast

not really the biggest fan of cooking but she knows you are, and since you help her build her gundams she does like to try and help our properly in the kitchen when she can

hello this sunshine absolutely LOVES baking, especially for others because putting a smile on someone's face is her main goal in life

she loves decorating with icing too, her go to patterns are smiley faces, flowers and the sun!

her playlists are always so upbeat, the two of you end up bouncing around the kitchen singing at the top of your lungs as you work

LOVES LOVES LOOOOOVES backhugs, especially recieving them,,, it makes her feel all worm and mushy inside hehe

also likes to kiss face icing off of your face, just to have an excuse to give you as many little pecks as she so desires

choerry always makes you a birthday cake every year, and she puts so much work into it, it absolutely melts your heart

plus it makes her happy to see you eating well and having a good time, she truly just is the biggest sweetheart :']

she always says yes whenever you ask her to cook with you, but only because she just wants to flirt with you for an hour

cooking with you actually really does make her happy though, she loves that she can be so domestic with you, it's such an amazing break from her hectic life

also lowkey makes her feel like you're a married couple... and you best believe Yves can't wait to wife you up

she doesn't suck at cooking, but has often times gotten,,, ahem,,,, somewhat distracted and has prioritized making out with you against the kitchen counter rather than how long the food has been cooking, which ends up in a lot of burnt meals

baking with her is really a time, and has more than once ended in a very messy food fight because Yves wouldn't stop smearing icing all over your face 💔

her specialty is dialing the local takeaway and ordering food instead ✨ okay Yves Ramsey go off ✨

this baby girl is just torn between actually wanting to cook or just asking you to cook with her so she can get affection from you (as if she doesn't get that anyway smh)

whenever she's making something she calls you over and she's like "Y/N is this okay?" and always asks for kisses as a reward for doing good

will feed you every single ingredient no questions asked

she loves surprising you with meals on very random occasions though, for example that one time she cooked your favourite food because it was the anniversary of the first time she got sick while dating you

she's actually a pretty good cook when she puts her mind to it though, she loves making good food that'll cheer people up when they really need it

okay but deadass imagine if Techno's crown is a cardboard crown that Tommy made for him when Tommy was like 6??? IMAGINE BRO THE POSSIBILITIES angst? sure, Tommy died or suddenly hates techno and the crown is all techno has left of Tommy. fluff? sure, flashbacks showing Tommy making the crown/au where Tommy is Technos VERY younger brother. gore? someone breaks the crown and techno snaps and kills a bunch of people (bonus points if techno just walks back home all casually to 6 y/o Tommy and asks for a new one, Tommy completely ignoring the smell of blood yet he knows what happened). smut? GET OUT OF HERE FILTHY DISGUSTING MONSTER

okay, so idea:

Phil lectures Tommy for doing dumb shit (getting into a fight) and Tommy starts to cry and Phil doesn't know why because he wasn't even being that harsh on Tommy so he's like

"what's wrong? oh fuck oh shit oh fuck oh shit oh fuck oh shit oh fuck oh shit" because panic, and Tommy's like

"its nothing, I'm fine, it's stupid-" because teenage angst and plot purposes, so Phil is like

"bullshit, tell me what's wrong"

and Tommy's like "I punched the guy because he said that you and Wilbur and techno don't love me and that's why you never hug me and that I should stop complaining about it- oh shit wait-" and Phil's like

"complaining about what? COMPLAINING ABOUT W H A T???" and Tommy says

"... I think I'm touch starved."

Fd Au. Tommy coming home after getting detention in school, where he got an F on his test, coffee got spilled all over him, constantly made fun of, no lunch, and overall a really bad day. Wilbur asks him to get him a glass of water, and Tommy says no. Wilbur and Tommy start arguing, and eventually, out of spite, he came back with a glass full of ice cubes and tell him to wait. Wilbur gets pissed and goes to yell at him, but Tommy shoves him and yells at him to fuck off. Wilbur asks what's wrong with him, and Tommy shouts back, "I was supposed to be home three hours ago and all you care about is me getting you water! Do you even care about me at all?" While crying, and runs up to his room. After a little while, and after Phil gets home, Wilbur tells him about the argument. Phil takes Tommy's side and tells Wilbur to apologize. Wilbur goes to Tommy's room and finds his window open and Tommy not there. He climbs up onto the roof and finds Tommy smoking pot, and starts to yell at him.

Fd Au. Tommy comes home hours, past curfew, really late, like after Phil comes home. Wilbur is about to yell at him when he notices how tired Tommy looks, and then how much blood was on him. He instantly panics and yells at Techno to get the medkit, and Tommy passes out due to blood loss. Fd Au. The Pandel siblings go to a party and Tommy gets pulled away from his siblings by some random people he doesn't know. When they find him, with the help of DTeam, The Trio, and The L'manburg Crew, a group of 16-20 people are trying to pressure him into drinking/smoking. Tommy refuses every time, and then Bad, Toby, and Phil comfort him while everyone else beats up the people that were trying to pressure him, other than A6D and Fundy, who are both getting rid of the stuff people were trying to make Tommy consume.

DreamSmp Is Real Au (????). Dream finds Tommy crying. He asks what's wrong, and Tommy completely breaks down. He tries to respond without his voice shaking but all that comes out is a sob. Dream walks over and tries to comfort him, but Dream isn't good with emotions. He panics and calls Bad because he knows how to deal with kids. Dream tells Bad that he's gonna bring Tommy to base-area, and asks Bad to comfort Tommy. Bad agrees, and Tommy and Dream set off. Dream tries to make small talk and asks what's wrong, and Tommy starts crying harder. "I feel so fucking lonely. All the time. But I know I shouldn't, because I have Wilbur and Toby, and- and everyone else on ou- MY side. I miss not fighting. I-I miss talking to you- and George- a-and everyone else without it being fucking fighting! I-I miss Eret- GOD I miss Eret so fucking much-" While sobbing. Dream doesn't know how to react, and Tommy collapses. He sobs with his face in his hands, and Dream collapses next to him and begins to just hug him. He messages Bad and tells him that there's been a change of plans and that Bad needs to come to them. Bad agrees.

IMAGINE DREAM FINDS A FUCKED UP TOMMY, HE'S CRYING AND SHIT, ALSO PROLLY DRUNK??? LIKE STOLE LIQUOR FROM WILBUR (or imagine they find Tommy cause he broke into their base and stole all their liquor- LMAOOOO-) AND IS FUCKING H A M M E R E D AND DREAM HELPS HIM, BEING SOFT N SHIT, LETTING HIM SLEEP IN DREAMS BED, AND WHEN TOMMY WAKES HUNGOVER AS FUCK DREAM ASKS HIM WHAT HAPPENED AND TOMMY EXPLAINS (god I cannot do ANYTHING that involves Tommy without adding angst IM SORRY) (you make up a scenario, I'm lazy) AND DREAM TAKES HOME TOMMY CAUSE TOMMY IS HUNGOVER AND WHEN SOMEONE ANSWERS THE DOOR (TOBY??? WE LOVE SEEING PROTECTIVE TOBY AAAAAAAA-) THEY GET ALL PISSED CAUSE dream bad person, he kills us, and now he has Tommy who was missing all night, I wILL KILL HIM-Aa AND TOMMY DEFENDS DREAM AND SHIT AND THEN EVERYONE IS SURPRISED BUT THANKS DREAM AND DREAM SAYS 'don mention it' AND LEAVES AND TOMMY prolly gets grounded for life cause he got drunk and also went missing for a whole ass night???? lol loser)

imagine everyone (ie. dteam, l'manburg boys, sleepybois, the trio, etc etc) all have a job working for the mafia. after a mission (idk they steal something from someone, no killing cause a child is on the job), Tommy asks dream to give him a ride home and offers to pay for gas money. and dream's already taking out his keys like 'ur like twelve no you don't have to pay gas money get in the jeep child' LMAOOO

'dream looked at the crying teenager who was being held by wilbur. tommy was sobbing, coughing on occasion. bad and eret had quickly got off of the ground after comforting the younger teen and walked over to the rest of the group, either not caring or remembering that tommy was the enemy.

"tommy- why would you go out and try to negotiate with THEM?" wilbur asks panic and a slight amount of annoyance evident in his tone. dream whips his head up instantly, offended.

"you think WE did this? jesus wilbur, i know you think we're horrible people but horrible enough to do that?" dream questions, glaring at wilbur through the mask. e opens his mouth to say something but tommy cuts him off.

"t-they didn't-" he coughs harshly, "do it." he manages to weaky finish, burying his face back into his older brothers neck. dream doesn't know how tommy knows that dream and his group were innocent but is thankful that tommy defends them, because he knew that when wilbur gets angry, he'd call techno. and everyone is scared of techno. wilbur makes eye contact with dream or the closest thing they can get to that, and subtly nods his head as an apology. dream accepts it, knowing he would probably blame them if they were somehow in the same situation, giving the same nod back to wilbur. dream thinks for a second, just a split second, that maybe tommy was overreacting, but he quickly shuts himself down, chastising himself as that was a cold thing to think, even for the sadistic man.

because he knew, that at the age of sixteen, he would probably be crying if he had been almost hanged in front of seven people who were out for blood. even if he knew they didn't do it. which caused his heart to yearn to comfort the child even more.' ok so basically someone (we don't know who) sets up a trap for tommy that wraps a rope around his neck and hangs him, which goes off while he's trying to negotiate with dteam. dteam calls wilbur while eret and bbh comfort tommy, and everyone else tries to figure out who set the trap because even the dteam aren't sadistic enough to do that.

ok fuck it adding in other people

"Playing in the backyard, whispering in the dark, catching fireflies with mason jars." Wilbur says this line, talking about how much fun they had as kids.

"It's 2007, the closest that I'll ever get to heaven, but I can't see that far." Phil says this one, and flashbacks show four-year-old Tommy running around with his older siblings while Phil watches, as a calendar in the background shows that its 2007.

"You were just a baby, of course, you'll always be my little lady," Techno says this, and a flashback shows (now) nine-year-old Tommy after getting his haircut, and the first thing he says is, "I LOOK LIKE A GIRL!". A calendar shows that the year is 2012.

"But then you were free." All three say this line, each giving their own perspective on it. Wilbur thinks about how much he is pressured by being a streamer so young while dealing with people who tell him to ||off himself|| every day. Techno thinks about how much he is pressured going through highschool while being popular. Phil things about how much he is pressured by life in general, dealing with the pressure of upcoming jobs, taxes, love, etc.

"Before you started, bout what you were wearing, God you're turning into me." Surprisingly, Bad says this line. He can't help but think that Tommy is probably a little self-conscious, like him, due to some specific things both of their chats say about them. (I DONT THINK TOMMYS CHAT IS AS MEAN AS BADS BUT LETS PRETEND IT IS FOR NOW)

"I just wanna hold your little face, look at you and say," Sap says this line, smiling at how innocent Tommy can seem at times (COUGH COUGH CRAFTING TABLE).

"It's not as good as it seems." Schlatt says this line, talking about how much Tommy seems to wish to grow up (or become a become a buisness man).

"Cause growing up's forever," George says this line, smiling faintly as he remembers what he was like as a kid.

"It never gets better than being a kid with a dream." Dream (lol) says this line, speaking directly to a sixteen-year-old Tommy. A calender in the background shows that the year is 2020.

HERES ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A LIFE

"I gazed off into the boundless skyline." It shows Tommy leaning against a railing over a cliff, staring at the sunset. He's crying. He's wearing all black. He looks dead inside.

"Noteblock choirs playing in the sunshine." As the camara moves away from Tommy, it moves to a graveyard. On the gravestone that a crowd has gathered around is the words, 'R.I.P Techno. The king forever and always.' As the people (I.E, Wilbur, Phill, Dream, etc.) gathered around him are shown crying as well.

"Turn around, pick up my sword, and wield." Dream turns around and grabs Technos cape and sword, setting it onto the casket before it is lowered into the ground.

"The blade that once forced evil mobs to yield." A flashback is shown of Techno, Phill, Wilbur, and Tommy all laughing as they run through a forest.

"If this battle should leave me slain." A different flashback shows Techno talking to Wilbur, just before a fight (you can pick which, maybe the ender dragon?) telling him to leave him if he gets close to death.

"I know Herobrine will call my name." A little farther forward into the flashback, Techno is on the ground dying with Phill kneeling next to him, trying to help Techno stay alive.

"Better to take a stand." Wilbur and Tommy run over, just as Techno begins to lose consciousness.

"And that was when I ruled the land." Techno hands Tommy his crown, and then dies in Phill and Wilburs arms.

Yeah sorry for the angst.

In the beginning, where the music plays, Dream is shown surrounded by the (dead) bodies of Sap and Bad, and then stalks George to his house.

"You call me on the telephone, you feel so far away." A flashback where Dream is shown calling their house phone constantly, asking where they are and mocking them.

"You tell me to come over, there's some games you want to play." Another part of the flashback shows Sap finally answering, and telling him to come over. He says that they just want to watch some movies. What Dream isn't supposed to know, is that there's a trap set up for him. (which fails miserably, and probably is the reason that Dream's mask is broken.)

"Walk into your house, nobody's home." George walks into his house, closely followed by Dream. George calls out for Sap and Bad, but their dead (obviously).

"Just me and you, and you and me alone." A creepy zoom in of Dream in the dark holding a bloodied sword. His mask is a little broken, and you can see him smiling. Sap and Bad are shown respawning in a field.

"We're just playin' hide n seek." Dream pins George up against a counter and holds a knife to his throat, telling him that he wants to play (drumroll please) hide and seek (wowowowow what a surprise). Bad and Sap begin to go in the right direction to where they last died.

"It's gettin hard to breathe." George attacks Dream (like a fuckin idiot) and Dream reacts by using chloroform to knock out George (which works.).

"Under the sheets with you." George wakes up in a basement, with a sheet over his head, with Dream sitting in the corner.

"I don't wanna play no games. I'm tired of chasin', chasin' after you." Dream says, 'I don't wanna play games with you, I want to marry you.' Bad and Sap are shown fighting some more mobs.

"I don't give a fuck about you anyways. Whoever said I gave a shit 'bout you?" George rejects him, and Dream says "I don't give a fuck about you anyways. Whoever said I gave a shit 'bout you?" (who woulda guessed?) but since George can't see, Dream starts crying. (Awww, almost feel bad for him.) Sap and Bad are now in the forest where they died.

"You never share your toys or communicate." George yells at him for always ignoring Sap and Bad, and only paying attention to him. He says that its Dreams own fault that he got kicked out of the group. Sap and Bad reach where they died last, and grab all of their stuff that will help them kill Dream.

"I guess I'm just a play date to you." Dream starts to kill George by putting lava around him, and the wooden chair that George is sitting in catches fire. Sap and Bad are almost there.

As the music plays, Dream leaves the basement, just as Sap and Bad arrive, now fully equipped with gear. They hear George screaming, and run past Dream, who follows them. When they open the door, Dream pushes them down. They fall into the lava and die, just as George dies from the fire.

Big Hero 6 Au (mostly here for the family dynamic at the beginning)

Hiro: Tommy

Tadashi: Wilbur

Aunt Cass: Phil

idk who the fuck techno is, you can write him yourself ig, but Tadashi's friends are Lunch Club :p

GOD I LOVE ANGST SORRY

Techno joins the server, and instantly starts beating the shit out of people (not killing) on the other side for what they did to Tommy, Wilbur, and the rest of L'manburg. As he corners Eret, he mutters, "Backstabbing bastard..." with a glint in his eyes, and raises his sword to kill him (You can even do a rlly cool shot of Techno's POV where he sees everything in red :oooo), he stops. You can see someones arms around his neck.

Tommy's hugging Techno, sobbing, and asking him to stop hurting everyone. Eret scrambles away, and (if you added it) Techno stops seeing red. The murderous glint in his eyes go away. He drops his sword and hugs back.

(Then if you want to contuine the comic/more angst, Tommy gasps suddenly. Techno instantly backs away. He sees a red stain on Tommy's shirt, near his chest. Tommy collaspes. Dream is standing behind him, smiling, holding Techno's discarded sword. Tommy starts to die, and Techno goes fucking sicko mode, and almost kills Dream [with his bare hands because Dream has his sword]. Techno can just barely hear Tommy call his name, and instantly backs away from Dream, running over to Tommy. He either A, brings Tommy back to L'manburg and heals him up, or B, Tommy dies in Techno's arms and Techno is scarred for life and vows to get revenge. [Maybe Dream gets scarred for life too because 'holy shit i didnt mean to kill him oh no i killed a teenager'])

Option C, WILBUR AND PHIL WALK UP TO THEM AND STAY WITH TOMMY AND TECHNO FOR TOMMY'S FINAL MOMENTS

option D, tommy starts to bleed out and they patch him up and he becomes delirious and starts talking abt how much he loves them (PLATONICALLY) and will miss them if he dies. they reassure him that he wont die, and tell him that they love him too, but he starts writing a will with his own blood (which they quickly stop him from doing) and then he continues babbling on and on about toby and fundy and everyone else fro l'manburg and how nice they are and that he loves them.

"tommy gets beat up by dream (in the sibling way) (TM) and someone makes fun of him for it and tells tommy that he deserves so much worse. the person starts to constantly bully and harrass tommy for no reason and tommy starts changing as a person because of it. he gets quieter, stops talking as much, stops going out as much. he stops talking to his friends as much, and he genuinely starts believing that he deserves nothing and that he's just a burden.

he puts up a facade around his family and, at first, they had caught on almost instantly. but now, after a couple of months of lying to his friends and teachers, his voice doesnt seem to waver as he tells people that 'he's fine'. his eyes dont sting as he walks away from people who bought it. he's better at lying.

he starts to hate everyone around him for not noticing. he wants to be helped, but doesnt know how to say it. he wants to take it out on something, on someone, but cant bring himself to. his temper gets worse. he starts sneaking out at night and drinking. he starts talking to bad people. he stops caring.

then dream goes to hit him again, and tommy just sees the bully, standing infront of him, talking down to him. he panics, and runs up to his room in the middle of dinner, locking the door and not opening it as his siblings ask him whats wrong. he ends up waking up to all of his siblings cuddling with him, and yet again, he breaks down.

they tell him how phil has keys to all of their rooms, and tommy tries to joke about it but cant, instead just sobbing. he tells them everything, about how he hasnt been eating much, about his wish for self harm, about how he wishes for death. everyone cries.

over several months (and therapy), they start to help him slowly believe that he is worth it. that he'll never not be worth it. that everyone is worth it. he stops drinking as much, stops sneaking out, stops listening to the little voices in his head that tell him that he's not worth it. he starts going out again, starts eating more, starts being happier, and he may not be completely ok but goddammit he was close enough."

its a slow burn but i LIKE slow burns ok.

She hated coming to these things. They were always the same. Old, pureblood families complaining about the growing influence of muggle-borns in the Wizarding World. But, nevertheless, Y/N’s parents dragged her to each party. Every. Single. Time.

Plus, every single pureblood parent would come up to her and ask what she was planning to do once she graduated from Hogwarts and what her opinion on the rising dark wizard was. To be honest, Y/N didn’t have an opinion that they would want to hear, so she stood through each conversation. Tonight was no different. Y/N was forcing laughter and faking smiles with her parents’ friends.

She never knew anyone else at these parties, so it was the same old tired, lonely place. Sneaking a drink from the bar, Y/N found a good corner of the room to sit and hide from being the center of attention. She moved to her favorite activity, people watching.

Looking around the room, Y/N viewed all the types of people she had grown to detest over her last 5 years at Hogwarts. She hated these people with their closed minds and vicious words. Why was she still one of them? It wasn’t until her gaze landed on the corner diagonal from hers.

Her Y/C/E eyes immediately locked on his deep, grey ones. He seemed to be watching her. The shifting eyes and vacancy that Y/N had been feeling earlier all vanished when she felt interest radiating off of him.

His eyes whispered. Asking who she was and if they had ever met. He may not know who she was, but she certainly knew him. The boy was Sirius Black. From the teas that Y/N’s mother had with his, she knew that he was a disappointment to the great Black family. She also knew him from school. His antics with his friends were legendary as was his reputation throughout the girls that he courted.

Oh, oh merlin. He was moving. Was, was he moving towards her? Y/N’s hands were up to her mouth as she nervously bit at her fingernails. She lost him for a moment, but his silhouette was making its way over to her.

“Hello, love. I’m Sirius.”

Y/N offered her hand in proper high society fashion and he took it, tenderly kissing the back of her hand.

“Y/N.”

“So, which stiff do you think will get drunkest the quickest?” he joked immediately, scanning the room.

“I didn’t think that the ladies drank,” Y/N responded timidly.

“They don’t.” Sirius has a mischievous smirk on his lips. An alarm went off in Y/N’s head. This could be dangerous. “They don’t, but I spiked the punch to get some entertainment for the evening,” he snickered. “Oh, oh, oh! My money is on Mrs. Lestrange. She’s been downing it for about 30 minutes. 4 cups already.”

Maggie couldn’t help but giggle as she watched the properly dressed woman begin to stumble.

“Have we met before?” Sirius blurted.

“Uhhh, not officially. We do go to school together though.” Y/N felt herself getting shy again under his intense gaze.

As the conversation continued, it began to flow easily. Y/N didn’t feel nervous anymore. It all felt natural. It was all so playful and Y/N found herself countering all his quick remarks. The whispers felt like passing notes in secrecy.

The hours blew by and Y/N’s parents found her in the same corner with Sirius at the end of the night.

“Y/N. It’s time to go. Now,” her dad emphasized.

“Bye, Sirius,” Y/N waved. “Thanks for making the evening more entertaining.”

“Goodbye, Y/N. It was absolutely sparkling, don’t let it go! I’ll see you at school at the end of the holiday. I’ll look for you!”

Y/N felt wonderstruck. Despite her parents berating her for talking to the “poor excuse” of a Black, Y/N didn’t stop blushing all the way home.

Lying in bed that night, she replayed the whole evening in her head. “I wonder if he knows I was enchanted to meet him. No wait. I couldn’t say that to him. It’s stupid.” She thought to herself.

That didn’t stop her from thinking about him. Now she understood why he was known as a charmer at school. Y/N was wonderstruck, dancing around her room all alone.

The rest of the Christmas Holiday lingered on. Every night that lingering question kept her up. At 2 am, she wondered who he loves. With the swirling idea in her head, Y/N was wide awake. She’d pace back and forth, wishing maybe he’d show up at her door. Or when they get back to school he would find her and she could say ‘hey, it was enchanting to meet you…” Why was that the only thing she could think to say to him?

The Hogwarts’ corridors never seemed larger when Y/N returned to school. She couldn’t manage to catch a glimpse of Sirius anywhere. Maybe they wouldn’t see each other again. Maybe meeting at the party had been a fluke. But she was praying that it was only the very first page and not where the storyline ended. Her thoughts just echoed his name and they probably would until she saw him again.

One night shouldn’t have led to these kinds of feelings. So, in natural teenage girl manner, Y/N poked around to see what her friends knew and listened just to see if his name came up in conversation.

“What about the Marauders? Anyone know anything about them? I know James Potter is interested in Lily, but what about the others?” Y/N nonchalantly brought up the conversation.

Y/N’s friends loved to gossip about the boys in their year and the year above them, so Y/N’s words were enough to start the long string of gossip. There was James who had filled the charms room with flowers for Lily and publicly asked her out again in the first week of being back. Peter seemed to have his eye on a Ravenclaw girl, but all of Y/N’s friends giggled, knowing she wasn’t as interested in him as Remus Lupin.

Y/N sat there, barely listening to the conversation, she whispered the words to herself “please don’t be in love with someone else. Please don’t have somebody waiting on you.” No one had said anything about Sirius as the conversation shifted to other boys.

With all the giggling, Y/N completely zoned out. It wasn’t until the Great Hall doors swung open that Y/N jumped out of the thoughts in her head. The Marauders streamed in, one after the other, laughing and winded. Well, Peter was winded, the other three seemed to be in much better shape than him. With their entry, Y/N’s heart leapt into her throat. She hadn’t told her friends about the interaction she had with the boy over the holiday, so they didn’t see her tense up as he walked by their table.

Y/N lowered her head. Maybe he wouldn’t see her and she could just stop thinking about him. Right? That’s how that worked.

The talking at Y/H’s table stopped. What happened to Y/N’s friends? She looked up to meet those deep, grey eyes. “Why hello there, love. Have we met before?” he smirked.

Y/N’s head spun to see her friends’ faces. Some were swooning, others were just drinking in the words he spoke. Surely he was directing his words to one of them though right?

“I told you I’d find you at school,” he continued. His eyes didn’t waver from her own.

Why were words failing her right now? She had been so quick witted with him at the party, but with everyone else watching, she went back to her ‘please don’t look at me…’ ways.

“Did someone use langlock on you?” Sirius chuckled.

“Uhh, no!” Y/N finally got out.

“That’s good to know. Had me worried there for a minute! Anyways, the first Hogsmeade trip is next weekend. Would you maybe want to accompany me? I need an excuse to ditch these three.” He winked at her as he finished his sentence. Ugh, he was dreamy.

Y/N only managed to nod her head a few times to convey the fact that she would very much so like to go with him. Merlin’s beard, why was she acting so stupid right now.

“Excellent! I will see you then.” Sirius’ fingers drummed the table as he stood up to walk away.

With his back to her, Y/N finally let the breath that she was holding escape. Her friends were all turning to her, asking about what just happened before they realized that Sirius had turned back around.

“Oh, and Y/N. I was enchanted to meet you.”

and yess staying in germany would definitely be the easier option? And better in some ways too. My original plan was to go to england, and it was one of those times where i just didn’t think of the most obvious option, which is to stay in germany. And i actually only realised what a good option staying here could be recently lmao (like not even a month ago, and i’d been planning to go to england for around 2 years and one day i was like.... wait... what about if I DON’T move to another country and what if i just stay here where the university is even better than the one i wanted to go to in england 👁👄👁 like it was just too obvious, so i didn’t even think about it for ages. And now i’m like 90% sure that i’ll stay here because, like you said, it is a very similar degree anyway and it’s less expensive (i mean uni in germany is like 75€ per semester lol so basically free). But I won’t actually decide until I know what the uni here is like, so within the next month i’ll get to know what it’s like and hopefully .. finalise (idk if that’s the best word) my decision to stay here

Really the only reason why I’m concerned/haven’t fully decided if I want to study here yet is because Germans are not good at... ✨english✨ and I’m going to a good, internationally acclaimed uni so i shouldn’t be worried but even the english on the website is simply fucking weird lol. (ok now i’m unsure about my english but it’s like 3 am so that’s my excuse)

You always enjoyed radio shows in general, and saw that they were hiring for another radio show personality

But, you also had your crack side acCording to ur roommate

It was a pretty old building, or radio station per se. not that it was bad or anything but, it isn’t exactly a place you would like to step into

Going up the stairs, you just saw a really TALL and attractive guy clearing out a few things in the booth. Your guess was that he was also probably new to this and whoever lent him the place didn’t exactly clean up the place.

nico is an intern and will is the trauma attending and nico is basically like the cristina to wills burke but also slightly meredith/derek in the sense that theyre Made For Each Other

nico craves power and thrives to be the best trauma surgeon ever and kinda sleeps with will to get ahead but soon realizes that hes In Love with will and so instead of sneaking around sleeping with him they get,,, a relationship?? which is wild for nico but will is all for it bc now he gets to make nico flustered in public

and now for all that useless backstory i always get so maria and hades were both great surgeons until maria died and hades just kinda,, stopped but nico still spent most of his childhood in a hospital and bianca became a surgeon around the time that nico graduated high school (so big age difference) and then died in some accident before nico graduated med school so at least now everyone remembers the name di angelo bc bia was p great too so they have high expectations for nico bc of his family and also hazel shows up eventually (like lexie) and shes also a surgeon ((wills backstory is that hes a southern boy raised by his mom and abandoned by his dad who was also a surgeon and probably couldve gotten will into a better school and a better hospital at the start but will wanted to pave his own way and changed his name to solace so that there was no connection to his dad))

nico and leo and other interns are eating lunch and theyre talking about what they saw that day and what attendings they were with and somehow it gets to like “”claiming”” which attending is theirs like theyre claiming specialties and somebody mentions percy and nicos like peds is a challenge and man is he hot but i think chase already beat us to him and someone else says zhang and nicos like “ortho?? u can have him” and so leos like “fine who do you want then” and nico says “solace” with no elaboration until they push him and he says that solace is soft and easily manipulated and screwing him would be the easy way to get extra lessons or w.e plus hes hot and definitely not 100% straight,, and theyre all like “yeah whatever nobodys actually gonna sleep with anybody we’re just picking specialties whats wrong with you” so nicos like fine u wanna bet? ill ask him out by the end of the week

nicos sitting at the bar across the street and will comes up to him and asks if he can buy nico a drink (shot of tequila) and nicos like “but youre my attending” and wills like “its one drink” and this is where nico gets manipulative and will mentions that hes noticed nico watching him all week and will’s requested that nico be on his service soon so that he can watch a lot closer and all the flirting leads to them sleeping together and driving to work together the next morning despite the fact that nico has to be there so much earlier than will for rounds and when nicos changing into his scrubs somebody points out the hickey on his chest and nicos like “oh yeah i slept with solace last night,, he even requested i be on his service so wheels are in motion and i’ll leave you all in my dust in no time” and then he leaves for rounds

will brings nico coffees and kisses his cheek all the time and they eat lunch together sometimes when nico isnt eating with the other interns and its all seeming much less manipulatey and a whole lot more datey so they call nico out on it but he waves them off bc no way he doesnt actually like will hes just trying to get ahead and did he mention that he got to close on will’s surgery today? until will drags nico into an on call room one day and hugs him and kisses him and talks about losing a patient and nico realizes that wills not defenselessly soft but actually still pretty tough and wills like “ok theres no use crying over this more lets go to the skills lab and ill show u what i did bc im still ur teacher too right”

wills sitting around in the attendings lounge with frank and percy and reyna and theyre picking on will for dating an intern bc nicos obviously just using him for extra lessons or w.e and wills like “no hes not” and theyre all like uhhh yeah he is?? And wills like “well what about annabeth?? dont yall think shes using percy for stuff??” and frank and reyna laugh but percy doesnt get it and reynas like “i was talking to him yesterday and when i asked him about you he talked strictly about the medicine and nothing about you” and percy says “yeah annabeth heard him talking to the other interns about how much he was getting out of your relationship” and will gets pouty and hes like “no way yall just misheard him or something that can’t be right” and frank is like “stop offering him extra lessons and see if he sticks around” and wills like “i dont like this conversation anymore” but he doesnt bring it up to nico

will ends up ignoring nico for a few days and feels terrible about it and one day he sees nico sitting with his head in his hands so will calls out to him and nico stands up and immediately passes out and will flips out (nicos appendix burst) and nico gets rushed into surgery and will’s at his bedside when he wakes up

nicos pretty out of it and pumped full of pain medicine and nico tells will that he has to tell him something and says that he was manipulating will bc hes soft but he doesnt want to manipulate will anymore bc he likes will like, a lot bc hes pretty and funny and nice and soft but not soft in a bad way,, and will just tells him to sleep and he’ll be there when nico wakes up and then when nico wakes up for real will kisses him says “so i hear you’ve been manipulating me for extra lessons” and nicos like “uhh idk what youre talking about” and wills like “i caught on but dont worry im not mad bc i know you how u really feel” and will lets nico suffer for a second before he smiles and tells nico what he said to will before and nicos like “youre a jerk” and wills like “a jerk you like”

flash to the future and nicos in his kitchen in his pajama pants and hes standing at the island with a suture kit practicing on bananas or something and will comes up behind him and wraps his arms around nico and asks whats going on and nico says hes practicing for his solo surgery but he cant get this one stitch right and will should help him and wills like “or i could help you relax a little bit” and starts kissing nicos neck and shoulder and nicos like “cmon i have to practice” and wills like “call this practice working with distractions” and nicos like “i dont think these are the kinds of distractions i’ll be facing”

because she didn’t really have much growing up and because her mom’s demanding work schedule left her with very little supervision, she resorted to petty theft at a pretty young age. sometimes it was to get things that she or her mom needed, like medicine from the gas station down the street. sometimes it was to get things that she wanted, like if she wanted fresh fruit for breakfast. and, eventually, she ended up stealing because it was what everyone expected from someone “like her”

by the time that high school came around, frankie’s tendency for theft had surpassed means of survival and had, instead, had turned into something that she couldn’t stop herself from doing. she stole clothes, makeup, accessories, art supplies, anything and everything that the world of rich kids around her made her believe that she needed but couldn’t afford on her own and she quickly found that she couldn’t stop herself

the idea that she was constantly being judged by people who looked down on her, constantly believing that there were a set of expectations she would always be held to, constantly being seen as nothing and constantly having to prove that she wasn’t worthless — all became recurring themes in her life

the first person frankie met who changed her life was a man named mel carson, the owner of carson’s automotive shop. when she was fifteen, frankie got caught attempting to shoplift from the pharmacy of the convenience store and, really, she’d just been lucky that mel had been there and convinced the owner of the store to let her go with a warning, paying for what she’d been trying to steal. and then he’d really saved her life by offering her a job at the shop

the second person frankie met who changed her life was her art teacher, junior year. coincidentally, it was another instance where she thought that she was going to end up in trouble with the law. she’d developed a love for art at a young age, but it had always seemed untouchable until the day that she began to express herself through graffiti. it was her art teacher who found her spray painting one of the back walls of the school and, instead, of reporting her to the school or to the ashmont pd for vandalism, he looked at her and saw the talent and the passion with which her work was carefully completed. he convinced her to start taking classes, gave her a place and supplies to work in his classroom, fostered her interests and encouraged her to stick with it

she did and, by some miracle, she ended up at st e’s on a scholarship for her art after spending a year at community college, which she never thought would have happened to someone like her. opening her college acceptance letter, with her mom looking on and beaming with pride, was the first time in her life that frankie truly felt like she might be able to amount to something

now she’s out here at st e’s chilling, working at the art gallery, also running a “technically illegal because you don’t have any certification” underground auto shop in the junkyard just chilling !!!!!!!

PART 2: PERSONALITY

as far as her personality goes, frankie can probably best be described as being single minded to the point of recklessness. she has been held accountable for very few things in her life, never really had a lot of responsibilities, was never held to a very high standard, often got away with things she shouldn’t have without seeing repercussions, etc. because of that she’s always been a bit flighty and had a difficult time seeing the full extent of the consequences of her actions

so it’s no wonder that astrid, a narcissistic little daredevil, fell in love with the first person that showed her the attention she craved. within six months she was devoted to her partner: a much older, and much more controlling person than she’d ever imagined herself with.

it lost its shine, however, when astrid found out she was pregnant just after turning twenty two. she panicked. she knew somewhere in her that she could not trust her partner to take care of her, and she knew that she could not be, and desperately didn’t want to be, a mother.

so she got an abortion. to hide it from her controlling parents, she bought herself expensive trinkets and sold them at pawn shops, and afterwards, nothing felt the same.

it opened her eyes -- and, after withdrawing several thousand dollars from her trust fund, she disappeared and left home to find a future in dayton.

i just realized its been a little over a year since I graduated and had to pull my shit together to find a job. heres some tips if anyone feels a little lost and some examples from my own struggles.

start with your cv! whether you’re applying for a summer internship program or fresh outta uni trying to figure out how you’re supposed to navigate the job market, start with your cv. take every little thing you’ve ever done and construct something out of it! look at any extracurriculars youve done or any interests and skill you’ve picked up over the years and figure out. i literally got my foot in the door because i learned how to read html/css on tumblr so i kinda dropped it in my interests and mentioned it in my interview and im pretty sure it gave me a bit of an edge for getting the position.

window shop a little! there are so many jobs and job expectations out there! take a look around and familiarize yourself. getting yourself acquainted with the market and the language that people use is super important and can help you go back and polish up your cv to fit it. I struggled with this a little bit myself. I went to uni in canada but came back to hk so the entry position names and the terms that they used for recruiting was pretty different (idk if its the same for other places but uhhh like in hk all the entry level/fresh grad positions are ‘executive’ positions lmao which i did not know). i would say definitely try to figure out key terms or skills that will make it easier to filter your search.

dont preemptively disqualify yourself! apply to jobs that you dont think you’re fully qualified for. literally. actually. apply. im not saying like shoot for the something unreasonable. but dont be turned off by postings that expect more years or more experience than you have. dont disqualify yourself before you even get the chance to try. the worst that could happen is you dont get a response. the best that could happen is you get called in for an interview. either or its still just another part of the process! everyones gotta start somewhere with experience so just give yourself the chance to get some.

alter your cv’s and cover letters! everyone says it. actually do it. have one basic cv that has everything on it. thats your building block and probably the cv you can use to send out to general jobs that youre kinda interested in but really just shooting your shot just to try. when you see a job you’re really interested in or really fits a certain skill or background that you have then create another cv that accentuates those skills! you gotta mold yourself a little to fit the image that the person whose hiring you is looking for. tailor your cover letters a little to the company and the job posting and align yourself for the position. its the same concept as buying the right shoes for the right sports. youre not gonna wear converse to a 100m sprint. and youre not gonna send him some generic cover letter to a job youre really aiming for.

make a spreadsheet! i literally applied to so many jobs that i couldnt keep track without the spreadsheet. it was helpful for if i got a call for an interview and had to go back to reference what the exact expectations for the post was. mine looked like this (company; position applied for; location; date applied; where i found it; a response column; and a details column that linked to the job posting’) but for sure tailor yours to your own job search. [yes i applied to like almost 150 jobs but yknow most were just shots in the dark for shits and giggles]

dont necessarily take the first job you hear back from! congrats maybe you got an interview and got an offer! don’t be scared to say no. unless its a job that you know you’re really gunning for and super interested in, i wouldnt advise to settle if you can afford not to. the tip i gave my friend was to think about whether or not you still wanted to look for other jobs when you receive the offer. i know this is a luxury not everyone can decide to take but if you can then do so. if you cant afford the extra search time, then take the job as a learning opportunity. like i said before everyone has to start somewhere if theyre gaining experience.

give yourself a break.. dudes its hard to transition out of a system thats been guiding you since you essentially knew how to write your name. if you get the chance give yourself a break and dont continually get stressed about this. take a breather, schedule some time outta your day. if youre trying then a job will come. the right one.

edit: i wanted to also add some general places to look at for postings

linkedin / indeed.com - both let you create cv’s, job search, save jobs youre interested in, and quick apply. theyre good places to start just cause there’s so many postings. dont just look at the jobs, look at the companies and sister companies.

go directly to a company you’re interested in - if youve got an interest in working with a certain person or company, literally go to the website and see if theres a hiring/contact/linkedin for the company and directly apply there. send a email! there’s bound to be a way to contact them (lmao respectfully pls)

check out some university job boards - some are public, or if youve just graduated there might still be access for you. my uni also had a ‘jobs’ facebook page. dont forget about alumni groups if your school might have one. alumni groups are literally made for you to connect and try to open opportunities.

graduateland / angellist / jobsdb (if ur in asia) - check out the smaller more ‘boutique’ places that are more tailored to ur geo or interests. like for example angellist is mostly for startups and smaller companies.

oops *social programs. like increasing class sizes, cutting bursaries, cutting library funding, cutting OHIP drug coverage. that kind of thing

idk this is a topic i feel like i should say more about but i’m tired rn so this is what u get

increasing class sizes, presuming you could link that directly to a decrease in quality of outcomes in education, is dumb and short-sighted. education, especially in k-12, is one of the safest and best long term investments and state actor can make, no questions asked. in cutting it, presuming class sizes actually do actually cause disengagement or worse outcomes (not a huge leap), you run the risk of increasing crime rates (delinquent youth - in-class engagement, extra-curriculars, and economic opportunity brought about by success in education all have been show to decrease crime rates [iirc, citing things when ur hunched on a roadcase is a little beyond me rn but if u want citations i can provide]) and decreasing flow of graduates to jobs that require ppl with higher education, either stymieing broader economic growth or forcing them to look elsewhere and bring ppl in either interprovicnially or internationally, which i get the impression isn’t the outcome foug dord seeks, were he asked.

cutting bursaries falls under the same category in my opinion; it is, broadly speaking, a good use of gov’t money to offer money for higher education. the increased income tax revenue over the person’s lifetime would likely more than pay for it, even in a zero sum game where the gov’t doesn’t also benefit from a more educated overall populace/workforce (which they fucking do). again, long term substantial benefit being sacrificed for short term gain in the name of deficit reduction (which i’ll... get to)

library funding is just a kick in the fucking teeth tbh, but if i have to address it seriously, libraries’ benefits are similar to that of higher school engagement; lowering crime rates as otherwise delinquent youths, poor families etc have a place for their children to spend time safely and productively. besides their use as a repository for local history (which i’m sure ford’s rural base would approve of if they realized it was there, but he’s from etobicoke and therefore doesn’t give a shit), they host events, help educated local children, represent the most freely available source of learning to low-income individuals, and offer a safe space to the public during business hours. for how much money they consume, cutting them is almost always a bad idea, regardless of province or country.

cutting OHIP coverage is dumb. single payer pharmacare is good. for reasons why see the folllowing:

and as a serious answer: those whose drugs you know longer pay for will likely burden the system in another way later down the line, and that’s usually much more expensive. unless he plans to defund ERs as well (which doesn’t exist anywhere, even private systems, which is why private systems are dumb; you turn people away until they’re literally dying, do an extremely expensive procedure to save them because you’re practically ethically obligated to, and then hit them with the bill, which they can’t pay any of, or they would’ve fixed it earlier. they go bankrupt, but you can’t squeeze blood from a stone either. everyone loses) preventative care, even ancillary care like non-essential pharma, is cheaper long-term than waiting for someone to be more expensive and more necessary to fix. you could split hairs about which are necessary and which aren’t or what have you, but quite frankly those administrative costs plus the quality of life downgrade ppl get from an obtuse pharmacare system means that it’s probably easier to just pay for it all. and THEN GUESS WHAT

you’re fucking single payer now. congratulations. want access to a market of 14 million? gotta negotiate with OHIP on drug prices now. fuck you.

it’s literally more economically efficient for everyone except drug manufacturers, whose profit margins are so economically aberrant that they can kinda go fuck themselves. like it’s the exact kind of thing taxes exist for: something that can be accomplished better, cheaper and more consistently under a single entity than individually. federal liberals are threatening to move this way and if they get re-elected i’ll personally suck trudeau’s dick to make it happen. it’s just fucking common sense.

so that just leaves us with uhhh,,,, one thing left, which is the provincial gov’t’s assertion that ontario’s debt is out of control, way too high, etc. as the reasoning behind austerity measures like these. which is like, it sounds good on paper? to the layman, sure, it holds up. their $343bn number is intimidating, there’s the “highest sub-sovereign debt” factoid floating around always, wynne was unpopular, liberals spend too much, so therefore spending was too high in the eyes of the ppl. whatever. economy doesn’t exist solely in political ads and the heads of those they’re targeted towards.

governments are made to hold debt. more than an individual, or a company, or a mega-corporation or conglomerate, governments are debt-holding entities. the actual amount is rarely important, as long as it’s payment has been earmarked over the time agreed upon. the interest over time is weighed against the economic growth that that spending is projected to create. actual cost of the debt is minimal. ontario’s interest payments appear to amount to about $4bn LESS than quebec’s, despite quebec having about 2/3rds of our debt. their debt to gdp ratio is 52% to our 39%.

the reason our debt is so much higher than other comparable sub-sovereign entities (i.e. american states) is because our provinces bear MUCH more spending burden than their peers. if you average out provincial and federal debt to get a more even representation of debt per capita, ontario is SAFELY in the black compared to other similar economies (which, to be fair, is partially because america’s federal debt is so high, but state debt’s and spending are so low that it’s not even a comparison otherwise). the only concerning stat in our entire economic portfolio is that economic growth

further research on their direction on the topic actually leave me less angry than before in a broad sense; their fiscal policymakers seem to generally agree that the best way to reduce debt is to spend at current levels rather than increase. it’s mostly i suppose the specifics you brought up as well as their rhetoric and political ads that i vehemently disagree with as short-sighted.

as usual canadian politics is a watered down version of american, so even their post-trump candidate actually still staffs genuine fiscal conservatives who don’t make obvious and easy to avoid mistakes.

you being the professors star student, someone he absolutely adores and considers one of his brighest students

in fact hes barely maintaining a c in the class and is on the brink of having three mental breakdowns all at once

he goes to the professor after class:

“plead elleaspelspdlel i need to bring my grade up i cant have a c in this class”

obviously, the professor gets to thinkin
