in honour of attest getting a bunch of love, i give you this: something similar but not quite as good.

A pink tulip wilts on the shelf

Tubbo will never forget the moment he saw Technoblade approaching his base in Snowchester. At first he was filled with anxiety, wondering what Techno had come to him for, especially considering their previous interactions.

And still, Tubbo wasn't wrong. Techno always has and always will be the bringer of bad news.

He handed Tubbo the picture and told him of the events that had just recently passed not even an hour ago, and while before Tubbo had always thought the sensation of the earth crumbling around him was nothing but a hyperbole, he was now made fully aware that it was, in fact something real.

It wasn't the kind of crumble that shook the ground beneath your feet– no, it was the kind that chipped away at you piece by piece, breaking you down until it could reach your core and shatter that in one go. It was the kind of crumble that left you vulnerable, with nothing more in your life to live for, willing to succumb to any request death gave you.

The pink tulip is wilting on his shelf.

From the moment Tubbo met Ranboo's ghostly counterpart, he knew that he would never really get over Ranboo's death.

Ghostboo- as the spirit liked to refer to himself as- was nothing but a physical manifestation of a melancholic reminder of what Ranboo he was. He was nothing to Tubbo but a reminder that his partner was dead.

Ranboo's ghost was nice, sure, but everything about him was annoying to Tubbo. His tone, the way he spoke, the way he flaunted his death and how peaceful it was, how happy he was to be dead because anything was better than life, because Tubbo had made Ranboo's life so unbearable that being dead was better than being with him.

And now the pink tulip is wilted on the shelf.

Tubbo lays in bed, staring at the empty room around him. He's in their mansion– though it feels like more of a grave than anything, a placeholder for the potential of what his relationship with Ranboo could have been.

The halls are haunted by Ranboo's ghost; by Tubbo's optimism for the future; by the laughter of them and their son. If Tubbo stops breathing for a moment and drown out the sound of his broken heart beating, he can faintly hear the sound of burned memories in the distance– conversations from expired lifetimes.

So Tubbo pulls Michael closer and clings onto him as if letting him go would cause his life to slip away as well. Fragile was all Tubbo felt these days, fragile as if one touch too harsh would break him, as if his heart was made of glass and his skin of clay.

And there are dried tulip petals beneath his covers.

whats up guys im here to introduce you to:

the vat7k pizza heroes au

(aka a really stupid idea i had after listening to lemon demon)

the gang is a group of vampire hunters disguised as a pizza delivery service!

first up is hugo! he is the distraction, who goes to the front door and pretends he got the wrong house to stall for time

basically it thought "who would be the most miserable pretending to be a minimum wage worker?" well its hugo, obviously, look at him.

next are varian and nuru, who sneak into the house while hugo is using his natural charisma to fuck up a vampires life! they break in and set up traps

varian dresses like he only shops at a small thrift shop just outside a farming village in bakersfield and nuru dresses like she only knows what hot topic and etsy are

finally of the group is yong! he oversees everything from the van, checks all their bodycams and tells them if any complications are occurring, like if hugo needs to stall for longer or varian and nuru need to get out as quickly as possible

as someone who loves interesting outfits, it pained me to design one for a 12 year old boy.

so i actually came up with this 2 years ago when i hadnt even known about tangled the series, and shamefully was a huge dsmp fan. it was originally just ranboo, tubbo and tommy, and i very quickly forgot about it, even though i liked the very silly idea

then about two weeks ago i thought "holy shit remember that au i made" so friendship ended with dsmp (two years ago, actually, so this thing was thought up only a few months before i dropped it) vat7k is my new best friend

so idk how germany works but theyre in germany so ill figure it out <3

oh im gonna be SO annoying about bbh in a minute. i keep saying the same thing over and over again but his character is too fucking complex motherfucker is like:

"i'm a demon who is 11,000 years old and i refuse to acknowledge that im a demon nor that i do bad things (like steal furniture) but i will help people every chance i get despite saying im going to stop doing that and i am going to devote my life to protecting these fragile little eggs even though i know im going to lose them one day because i love them too much (and i know i can do that and it will one day be okay, because i have an immortal diamond to keep me company even if he isn't here now). when my friend throws himself beneath the spokewheel of the federation i will be there, bitter about my loss, but i will not start a revolution until he proves he deserves one. i will do what i can to safeguard his system against corruption because i am afraid the federation will use him to hurt us. i know he doesn't want to hurt us. he keeps hurting me. he is isolated by our distrust in him and he is still working hard to try to be a good person in an inherently corrupt system that cannot be fixed so i will build him a statue. i will not kill him when he takes a picture of me in the presidential chair (that was almost mine) and puts it on his wall and calls me 'employee of the month.' i didn't do all of that work for the federation i did it for him like i do it for others because they are my friends. i will exhaust every option i have to build a reason to NOT start a revolution. to not kill him. because i have to say that i tried. i feel like i have made so many compromises. i have held myself back to try to find reason. i will still remove his access to my base. when the island turns against me and he locks me in a cage for a crime i did not commit, i will remove everyone's access (except for my family the french and my family the eggs). i am having fun. when the eggs appear the next day with cracks and dirty shells i will worry, but i know they're strong. they'll be okay. (when i find my son's secret lab and his unethical experiments that cause him harm i will be proud because he has done what i do. he has helped. i want him to be safe but we are never safe and i trust him more than anyone else. i know now, and i can help him be safe.) when the eggs go missing i will be silent. i will look for them, and i will destroy for them, and i will bargain for them, and i will cry for them, and i will not accept their loss. when my friend who is president who once built a safehouse that saved my eggs' lives is finally damaged by the federation (like i knew he would be when he became president) and he starts to hurt people by pushing the same treatment onto them i will not be surprised. i will be surprised when he tries to marry me. i will not blame him (much) when he tries to kill me. our children are missing. he is forced to pretend that his is not. i wish i could too. i will not tell him yes or no because i need an open avenue to manipulate him (because to save him i will have to manipulate him). i will not marry him because he is out of his mind. i have said marriage is overrated. i have also said that i want to live with him in a house with our kids and my skeppy. when he tells me that he wants to be happy with me i will still say 'aw' because it is the most genuine thing he has said to me and i miss my friend. i will still try to kill him. i fail to kill him with someone else's plan. i don't place a block to lock him in place. i hesitate. it doesn't matter if it's on purpose because the next plan works. i will reveal an item that could destroy me to my closest allies (and tubbo) because it will let us save him. we save him. when he kills himself 18 times over i back away from the explosion in surprise and then step close again. while i have grieved i have thrown myself into mines. it doesn't matter. i am numb and want to feel something. everything has lost colour. we save him.

i visit federation workers and ask them about my eggs and they do not tell me anything. i know they are lying. i visit the graveyard to talk to my lost eggs. i have lost all of the eggs. i do not know how to save them. i lay in the mud. it rains and rain signifies the monster has returned to kill my children but my children are not here and so i do not care. when i go home i will become so angry and i will go down to my basement (which i have locked like my friend locked the entrance to his greatest fantasy. we are so alike and our delusions are different. he child was real; here is the secret to finding my children) where i have locked a federation worker away. i will not wash away the blood stains.

i am also part-time grim reaper and i only ever dress up in robes to make people drink more water."

Do you have any headcanons as far as Philza and BBHs' relationship? I've enjoyed thinking about that because I think it's one of the few relationships on Philza's side that's actually a bit more complicated? But also Philza saying that BBH wouldn't lie is the funniest thing ever.

Or if no headcanons about Philza and BBH specifically what about Philza, Bad, and Cellbit as a trio in charge of the order because I really loved that

qPhil headcanons masterlist

Obligatory they're both thousands of years old mention. There's some things they can talk about and relate on that no one else on the island can. MAYBE Foolish, but Foolish tends to just focus on the present and vibe. Phil and Bad though, in the right conditions, they could and will have deep conversations about the past and their experiences.

On that note holy fucking shit these two would be terrifying teamed up together. If the Feds ever do something harmful or permanent to the eggs, god help them when these two decide they're armed enough and hatch a plan. They'll rain hell on the entire island and then some. And every other parent will be more than willing to join them. Do Not Piss Off The Immortal Murder Dads.

Phil could tell clearly that Bad is part demon. Finding out he was part reaper was a surprise. Honestly with how much of a lil trickster Bad is, Phil is surprised he isn't part Fae or something.

Phil takes one look at how Bad goes "no idea what you're talking about, nothing happened :D" about stuff like him Literally Dying and is like [uncanny Mr Incredible] "at least I'm not that bad." Phil just (very poorly) hides things and says he's fine. He doesn't straight up deny anything happened (and couldn't convincingly act like nothing is wrong the way Bad can if he tried)

Missa is a reaper. Bad is a reaper. Phil wants to see them talk about reaper things together. Or see them both in action. He himself can also carry small conversations about it since he's learned so much through osmosis :D

Actually that's kinda why Phil feared Bad so much during Purgatory. That was him in action. And he never wants to be on an opposing side of it again.

He doesn't resent Bad for Purgatory btw he just jokes like it sometimes. Same as with Tubbo (or anyone else for that matter), he blames the Watcher for trying to destroy their friendships.

Has straight up looked Bad in the eyes like "are you aware you are raising the most terrifying egg. Are you." He genuinely thinks if Dapper wanted to, he could kill Phil in his sleep. Every time he sees Dapper, he's learned something new and insane.

Tbh Phil sometimes envies how full of whimsy Bad is. He's seen infinitely more horrors than Phil for sure, yet he always ironically seems like a little ball of sunshine despite being a literal shadow lookin demon. What The Fuck is this man's secret to staying so silly.

Phil is endlessly fascinated by the extent to which Bad can come up with more and new protections for the eggs. He thinks of stuff not even remotely on Phil's radar. See, Phil's a safety expert as a survivalist, but most of his skills involve using what's around you and your wits, because survival is largely about relying only on yourself because you rarely have any other choice. Bad on the other hand will not hesitate to seek out new tech, other people, or tinker and experiment until he discovers new ways to use anything and everything he can get his hands on. Phil admires how intuitive he is.

Also Bad is really good at making bases and Phil enjoys seeing how balanced the aesthetics and practical parts are. Bad can make something look cozy and lavish as hell while also putting like a billion farms and gadgets into it.

I wonder how a conversation about possession would go. :) Surely Bad has some insight on it as a demon?

Something about how the two of them have arguably the most horrific egg death nightmares. I don't know where to go with this but goddamn would Crows and Ghosties be feasting.

Actually wait shut up, I just realized something kinda cute. In the same way Phil can talk to birds (particularly crows ofc), Bad can talk to the dead/undead (particularly ghosts). Imagine the sillies that could come out of that. It's said that animals can see the dead, what if Phil's murder conspires with the ghosts that follow Bad around ;D

The moment Phil would use his wings if they were healed, Bad would clock that he's the Angel of Death. I'm not sure he saw Phil flying during Purgatory, but if he did, he knows. And that would lead to many interesting conversations. :)

• BadBoyHalo is a jungle gym, Tubbo, and by extension Tina have gotten into the happen of hopping onto his back at random times. And bad just..let’s it happen, they both claim it’s for the height advantage

• sparringggg!!! So much sparring! Headcanon that in demons play fighting is very important, so that translates over to sparring, where both of the fights end in them laughing on the floor

• Tubbo has been banned from cooking anything ever, he’ll present the most diabolical stuff to bad and Tina and say it’s food.

• blue leaders baking, this isn’t even a headcanon, I just need to see a fic of them trying to bake something

• all three of them have the habit of just passing the fuck out asleep sometimes with zero reason. Leading to the others to just drag them off. Oh BadBoyHalo dragging off a limp dead to the world Tubbo? That’s fineee

• game night, Tubbo KILLS at monopoly and bad never gets closer to murdering his own co leader then when he gets ahead

• EDIT: because Tubbo is a environmental shapeshifter, upon the cold spawn, he took on the features of animals that live there, big fluffy ears and a fluffy tail. HOWEVER due to spending so much time with bad and Tina, he’s recently grown small horns, that he’s pissed about, not because they’re there. But because he had to fix the nice hat he made AGAIN so they poke out. He blames bad for this because of his ‘demonic presence’ bad finds the horns amazing

Jaiden trauma dumps by accident. She will be having a perfectly normal conversation and then mention something horrible from her past without even meaning to.

Slime can't read a room to save his life, if embarrassement could kill that would be his main cause of death

He once lost control of his human form and left slime goo all over Wilbur right before a concert

Wilbur cannot handle spice.

Neither can Philza actually.

Niki in other hand has bitten peppers before and snacked on them.

Mouse is very open about the fact that she is a demon and she is very pleased that everyone on the Island just takes it in stride, since usually it freaks people out

Mouse is not saying she has partaken in eating human flesh before, but she is also not denying it.

Lenay has a criminal record. No one knows why and she has never answered either.

Tubbo talks with his machines and it freaked him the fuck out when they started to answer him (It's Arin and he is loving this new kid)

Quackity and Mouse once entered a competition on who could hold their breath for longer (The both passed out)

Philza thinks every sickness can be fixed with avocado toast and he will recomend it as legitimate medical treatment

Jaiden talks with parrots and they keep her on loop of all the gossip on the Island

It took Tina literally invoking the powers of hell to people realize she is a demon and not a rabbit hybrid and Mouse was incredibly excited to have a demon bestie

Foolish is in fact jealous

Niki is such a good baker that she has made people cry by how good her food is

Fit spends a lot of his time running around Tubbo and stopping him from poking where he shouldn't, Philza is just glad he has someone to share the babysitting duty

Slime is a light weight, one glass of wine and the man is gone

Niki is an lynx hybrid and she has hissed at people before. She also can sort of understand cats and they follow her around a lot.

Fit is in fact allergic to cats but every cat on the Island seems to really love him

Slime needs his glasses less than his bitch wife so he will sometimes take them off, but it causes a lot of confusion because people fail to recognize him without them

Lenay has a terrible sense of direction, she is just better at following people and hoping for the best

Philza's crows really like both Fit and Tubbo and will sometimes follow them around but get sometimes annoyed that they wouldn't understand them

Bad and Philza were coworkers for a time

Jaiden can't dance but she sure as hell likes to try

Lenay on the other hand is a good dancer but she doesn't usually do it

Tubbo is actually a duck hybrid but literally no ones believes him when he tells them that because all the ducks on the Island hate him

He falls asleep on the most random spots ever because it's less sleeping and more crashing, he doesn't even know where his bed is

Fit will sometimes thrown his mechanical arm at people. No reason but that he felt like doing it.

Bad uses his tail to hit people when they are being annoying.

Foolish once bite his tail in retaliation.

Queen Sunny and her Handmaiden Pomme!

they are the sisters ever [eyes warble]

design notes under the cut!!

I did this on 3 layers so i was just winging this jkbhjvghbj heres a quick rundown

-I wanted them to look a lil older, maybe sunny in their late teens and pomme in her early 20s <3

-I winged sunnys crown and her dress, i was just fucking around and finding out jkhjvbj

-Sunny's glasses have one of those strings that make sure they dont fall off, the beads on them are specifically colored to represent ppl important to them! Red for bbh/dapper, Green for tubbo, Brown for fit/ramon, blue for Pomme, Pink for Pepito/Foolish/Leo, and that kinda creamy tan color for Empanada!

-Sunnys got bear ears cuz thats my design for her, also made her hair longer and braided it cuz i feel like ramon would LOVE to braid his sisters hair

-Sunnys got a heart locket on her necklace with images of people she loves in it! Probably her parents or siblings or what have you

-Pomme was also mostly winged... wung?

-I wanted her to look like a knight, and i based her main piece of armor loosely on Joan of Arc cuz im pretty sure shes french and she reminds me of pomme a lot

-the design on her armor is a snake eating itself to represent the rebirth cycle, think that fits with her being bads daughter, and the sun is because shes sunnys handmaiden!!

-Pomme's horns are painted because thats part of demon culture to me, but her wings and tail are a deep wine purple color because red+blue=purple obv, she has her tail and wing wrapped around sunny as if protecting them <3

the it 2019 death was a lot more sad to him though and it was mostly a metaphor to show that everyone has weaknesses even if they don't think they do etc etc

he just looks at you and then rants about that whole metaphor after pausing the movie and he's literally on it for a solid five minutes

you had a little cameo in a quiet place pt2

basically your character was alive for a while and helping out the abbotts until you died saving reagan from one of the death angels

she obviously couldn't hear one behind her and your character had to lunge and save her and sacrifice themselves on the island that she ran off too iykwim

like your character went off with her to keep her safe + you died during that chase/fight scene at the end

ran nearly broke down into tears because you got a solid two hours of time in that movie for all that buildup and shit

literally gave you an award (a massive hug) for your incredible acting skills bc damn

FREDDIE BADLINU

insidious the red door goes crazy

you bond with dalton at college and help him float around and shit

the demon doesn't like that you're helping him whatsoever so it drags your character into the further

the whole kill is done with you exploring the further for a moment, being hunted down by prey and then jumpscared by the demon

it's not a very emotional death but it scares the fuck out of Freddie

"wait, oh my God, they'll never be able to talk to Dalton about supernatural stuff again! what the hell?"

the death was pointless and for a jumpscare but he couldn't care, he enjoyed watching you on the screen

NIKI NIHACHU

you were in the forever purge

you play a very obviously queer & pro-human rights character who's shit on by all the rich, conservative, ranch owning Texans in the movie

you basically had to sacrifice yourself trying to get to the border in time

in the city scene, you get killed as a protection sacrifice

Tubbo - very fucking persistent and annoying, he just won't stop. Leave him alone for to long hes gonna investigate your dirty prison. Will escape multiple times. Blackmail the guards, somehow get private info on guards. Use the guards to get into secret special personal only. Hes genuinely just crazy and unhinged. Mouse- she's yelling and screaming at everyone, protecting her group of girlfriends no matter what. She's the protector. Tina- she is for sure the manipulator of the group, shes sucking up to the guards especially agent 18 and his thing for foolish. Using that info to get in good. Being nice to them to get away with More. She was basically being an mean girl as well, complimented sunny but turned to leo and was like "she's totally copying u". being another demon I get why they locked her up. Totally steals government info

Niki- she's quite, she always has been. But when you're so quiet people tend to forget youre there. Niki out here gathering information on the people around her cuz they're just to loud and she's just quite enough. Listen and gathering what she can. This ones tricky to get why she was sent to prison but I guess that makes her fun cuz like what did she do??

Foolish had hundreds and hundreds of years of memories. It was hard to distinguish at moments who had been there in past. There was so many men and women he had met before watching them met a horrible demise. So it was uncommon for him to recognize anybody from his past but...

He knew those eyes.

They were not Tubbo's eyes. They were too blue. Too knowing when staring at him.

"Hello, Tommy."

Tommy grinned as his eyes shifted and changed. Tubbo was in there as well, peeking through at moments, just watching the situation Foolish presumed.

"Hello, asshole," Tommy said cheekily.

"I see you're the same little bitch you were on the SMP."

Tommy laughed and after so long living with Tubbo it was strange to hear a different laugh out of the boy's mouth. He opened his mouth to speak but before he could, his face was twitching. Somebody else was taking over. But it wasn't Tubbo taking control.

Foolish had to admit he was interested. Godly possession wasn't something that just happened every day although he had seen it a lot more since joining the island.

"Hello," he said to the brown eyes now staring at him through Tubbo's body. "Who might you be?"

"Molly," said the soft voice that came through Tubbo's mouth. "I hear you know my boyfriend?"

"Thought Tubbo was only into men. Had his husband on the SMP and whatever is going on here," Foolish said with a laugh.

Tubbo took over and scowled. "Shut the fuck up Foolish, no this is Molly, Tom's girlfriend."

"I thought Tommy was afraid of women."

"HEY!" Tommy interjected. "I won't take this slander I'm fucking out of here, c'mon Molly let's go."

They left Tubbo to collapse, Foolish catching him to make sure he didn't hit the hardwood floor. "Ah, poor dude, let's get you somewhere nicer then the floor."

q!Bad has been trying so hard to burn his bridges so I consider purgatory a win for him! Though will say that I think it's nice that he and Bagi's bridge seem more or less the same? I don't think that his bridge with Bagi burned because she didn't have expectations from him like the others did from not knowing how Bad was before + she's heard him talk about wanting to eat/kill people and him being in the war before and still decided that was the guy she wanted to hang around her - even when they met up and she decided to go into her safe zone, she still gave him a chance to talk with her rather then going 'oh nah actually you're going to kill me so we won't meet at all' or she could have told her teammates on him, gave Bad permission to kill her and has been actively going 'hi Bad!!' when she saw him before the whole transferring team situation, just wanted to ramble that I appreciated the way their friendship works and how I feel like there's not gonna be a difference for them when they go back to the original island

i see q!bad's friends categorized in two areas: friends who can deal with his demon nature and friends who can't. bagi, despite her strong moral code, has seen bad at his worst, and is able to stomach all of it. she is able to forgive him (even if he may break her trust), understand the way he navigates his relationships, and continue to know that despite his actions, she has his back and he has hers. others who similarly take bad in stride are foolish, tina, aypierre, and etoiles. he may fuck them over, but they all end up shrugging it off and bouncing back. (this, of course, goes especially for foolish).

i would say phil and bad had a good friendship, but purgatory has effectively ruined it. they were just never close enough with each other for phil to understand who bad is at his core. cellbit (from what i observed) seems to hold more immoral actions (i.e cannibalism, murder) with a much heavier weight than bad. yes, he is a dark character, but notice how cellbit needed to be pushed in this direction via external circumstances? meanwhile bad always seemed to be holding off eating people and murder to just "fit in" with society, because these traits are just more innately part of him. and this is why i think bad won't hold a grudge against cellbit for purgatory, but cellbit could.

forever and baghera are a special case in which they became friends with someone who was nice and caring, were able to ignore the dark implications of his moral code, but then couldnt anymore once he began to spiral downwards. theyve both had their purgatory moment with him; they've already seen the lengths he'll go to. its definitely taken a toll on their friendship, but if they were able to move past his torture of ron, they'll be able to move past this too (and they already have: baghera may be opposing him but she's still happy to chat, and forever and bad's relationship has honestly improved in purgatory).

i do think, at the end of the day, bad is the kind of guy that is very easy to hate, but also someone you really want on your side. take tubbo or pac. he was by the far one of the most antagonistic characters to them on the island. but when you're fighting to survive, suddenly that bloodthirsty demon is real nice to have at your back. its why foolish is so careful to prod into bad's plans, to see if their motives line up. i do believe that, even if he burns bridges with majority of characters, he is still someone most characters would want to fight with, rather than against.

Had to pull up the list but!! Members of soulfire as most helpful love advice to least helpful!

Lenay - actually married, even if her husband is currently MIA, would probably be a bit cryptic but all in all very solid and nice advice (give her some dirt in exchange she likes to lay in it)

Pol - old man, has seen a lot, would probably suggest something very romantic until his vex side comes out and starts suggesting bonded blood packs to make with your lover.

Niki - resident, not certified, therapist. Would probably just be very safe and say communication is key. Might give some weird advice tho if she finds it funnier and like it'll bring you closer to your love

Tubbo - he'd make fun of you but in the end sit ya down and talk about how you gotta be confident and kind. Hold em tight...don't let them go...he'd get a bit quiet but would perk up and suggest a nice dinner as a perfect first date.

Tina - will straight up tell you that your lover is a red flag and to have some RESPECT!!! get to the GRIND!!! (Especially @ missa wanting the gas mask wearing bird)

Aypierre - would have solid advice but then trail off horribly into how he fucked up with maxo and start to go a bit all over the place in anger and sadness. Please let the robot reset before asking more questions <:].

Pac - can't get his own love life for shit but damn he can give some pretty okay nudges in the right direction. Would tease and make fun but not get too involved.

Missa - would be very awkward and ask why you trust him with this??? Would say never to give up...gets really sad if you ask too much.

Rivers - probably just thinks way to hard on it, says to just go for it but overthinks, says you should fight for your love- no wait be soft- shit no buy em stuff!! Ahhh!! Stop asking her she doesn't know!

Luzu - literally 50/50 if you get ignored or told he has no idea.

Mariana - he'd suggest kissing your crush after every argument, love like the world's ending, make sure to be an asshole and they'll love you forever.

Bbh - this man literally thinks that arguing is a love language, suggests stabbing and eating the body as romantic, he's crazy do not trust any advice out of this demons mouth. It's crazy that he's so wanted on the island.

This is so funny and so right, I approve 10/10. I laughed at half of the points, also love how out of the leaders of the group the highest in the list is Tubbo and even he is only 4th🤣 You know you can rely on those 3 for anything yep.
