Like man, I bet I could find something agreeing with any position I wanted to take. If I couldn't it wouldn't be hard for me to make a semi professional looking graph that makes it look like whatever I want is true

Also like... who's the source man, cause on any given issue there's some I'm probably gonna toss out because of their blatant bias. What's this so called study? What's this so called science? I am not really the person who can sit through a whole paper, but I can at least sometimes give them a sniff and see if the stuff they're saying seems to add up or if I'm spotting anything instantly off (cause sometimes you straight up look and go "wait a minute... you didn't even account for this")

I'm not perfect, but at least I actually think about the problems with ideas I care about. Like with nuclear I know that the lack of economies of scale means infrastructure is going to be more expensive, but I can also at least point to solar and point out that it was the same with it, but once we got wider adoption prices started to really drop

At least I can think about my point and make actual reasonable inferences and conclusions rather than just blindly screaming at everyone to agree with me or they're immoral

when it came to feelings and relationships, you had to admit. you weren't the best at them.

you weren't stupid. you knew when someone's intentions weren't as platonic as they wanted it to seem. television taught you that -- though tv wasn't the same as reality and sometimes things aren't as forward as they usually were made to be, people just don't work like that.

you kind of hated that fact, actually. the fact that people were so complicated annoyed you so to speak. especially when it came to the various relationships in your life. your relationship with your mother was..rocky. so, the fact that your father was that of an immortal all powerful deity didn't help at all. you hated the fact that the gods were so fickle with the way they spoke to their demigod children.

they'd abandoned them, yet couldn't even offer them a direct sentence or word of advice. it seemed so bittersweet to you. the existence of camp half-blood was a comforting thought yet, challenged you with hard questions at the same time.

why couldn't the god protect their children themselves? why the hell would they just their put kids in danger knowing there was monsters out to get them? and most of all, why didn't they care enough to stick around?

these questions were built on nothing but anger and hatred yet, you couldn't stop them from popping up whenever you had a moment to yourself. this kind of stuff was complex, hard to understand. it was probably why you even hated thinking about it for too long.

you tried your best to avoid bringing up complex feelings, you really did. but.. sometimes you had to face your fears. or -- something like that you figured.

you idled in front of the poseidon cabin, an unnerving feeling in the pit of your stomach as you tried your best to put on a brave face. you had nothing to be scared of, honestly! it was such a stupid situation you'd found yourself worrying about. it'd only been a few weeks since percy, annabeth, grover and thalia had returned from their quest to find artemis.

you practically busted your ass making your way over to find percy and the others, a comical grin on your face being met with the tired and shaken up faces of the group. thalia left with the hunters, nico was informed of the death of his sister and everyone in the camp seemed to be in grimmer spirits than before.

percy included.

he seemed..distant -- in a way. it made you wonder about what the hell happened on the quest. what he had to witness while he was out on the open road. it made your heart hurt for him. i mean, how could it not? percy was like a shell of his normal self and you hadn't a clue what it was about, especially when he started to avoid your presence around the camp.

it was the main reason you were situated outside his cabin, hesitating to knock on it as your head raced with questions. something in the back of your head told you to just go back to your own cabin and hold your tongue. a part of you wished you'd listened to it, sucking in a breath as you knocked earnestly on cabin 3's door.

you exhaled shakily,

“hey,” you started, pausing as you tried to find something to say. you and percy hadn't spoken in weeks, what could you say..? he looked back at you with wide eyes, like he hadn't expected to see you here at all. you couldn't blame him -- you didn't expect yourself to be there either.

“uh, can we talk..?”

percy shut the door behind you as you strolled sheepishly into his cabin, looking around the practically empty cabin as you stood in the middle of the room awkwardly.

percy walked over to you nervously, leaning against the frame of cabin 3's bunk bed as he turned to face you with a concerned expression. “what did you wanna talk about?” you paused, analyzing percy's worried gaze

“are you avoiding me?” you blurted out suddenly.

percy blinked a few times before his eyebrows furrowed. “..what are you talking about?”

“i mean.. i haven't seen you in so long? are you like” you cleared your throat. "do you not wanna be friends..anymore?"

“no.” you turned to him. percy's face was slightly flushed though, you couldn't pinpoint if it was because of the fact the sun was boiling today or for..another reason.

“it's not like that.” he added, rubbing the back of his neck. “i've just been..feeling weird, i guess.”

“and you didn't feel the need to tell me about it?”

he paused.

silence fell over the two of you as you began to regret ever coming to cabin 3 before percy spoke once more.

“i don't think i feel the same way i did..” he trailed off. "about..us."

your heart pounded in your ears as your eyebrows furrowed. “what you don't wanna be friends anymore?”

“are you." he sighed in frustration. “no, that's not what i meant.”

you felt slightly jittery now, it must've been your body growing tired of the still position you were in. the vagueness of percy's words were starting to cause thoughts to race in your head as well. why couldn't he just be honest? what excuse is so great that it makes up for the fact he's been ignoring you all this time?

“then,” you mumbled. “ what did you mean?”

percy sucked in a sharp breath, shifting on his leg as he crossed his arms impatiently. he looked like he was trying to psych himself up to say something. he locked eyes with you before shuffling over sheepishly and gently directing you to a sitting position on his bed.

you tapped against the frame of the bunk bed absentmindedly waiting for percy to continue.

“you're uh..” he paused again. “i don't want to just be friends.”

you shot him a confused look. “you wanna be..best friends?”

percy deadpanned. you felt slightly bad for still not getting what he was trying to say. though, what were you supposed to assume when he kept talking in riddles? percy's hand inched towards your own that rested on the bed slowly before he cleared his throat.

“i like - ”

“percy! you have to..” annabeth trailed off, observing the scene in front of her with calculated eyes. she bit back an amused grin, shaking her head slightly. “did i..walk in on something?”

“no!” percy exclaimed, moving his inching hand away from yours to rest in his lap. his face was red and his lips were folded into a thin line. “uh - we weren't doing anything.”

you eyes percy curiously before turning to annabeth. “what's going on?”

“chiron's asking for him..” her eyes shifted between the two of you. “i can tell him you're busy..”

“you don't have to,” you stood up from the bed, dusting yourself off. “i was gonna..leave anyways.” you turned to percy. “catch you later, i guess.” percy nodded his head, waving at you robotically.

you shut the door behind you, trying your best to shake off the awkward conversation.

you weren't able to decipher what percy was saying to you, nor did you even get a straight answer about why he'd be avoiding you. you squinted your eyes as the sun shun over your face.

Arlecchino is used to being bitten. She works with children who will bite for a large myriad of reasons. She may not like it, but she understands it comes from a place of not being able to verbalise a certain emotion. At first she’ll be concerned that there’s something wrong, and will try to pinpoint what it is. Eventually, she’ll move on to being mildly annoyed, shooing you off, and then finally just settling for it and realising it’s just a way of you asking for attention. If she’s busy, she may brush you off and move away, but she’ll make a note to give you the affections that you’re pining for when she has a moment. If you have a particularly close relationship with her she’ll let it fly if she knows you’ve had a bit of a rough/long day.

Beidou finds it kind of funny, though she doesn’t entirely understand it. She’ll just laugh like you’ve told her some kind of hilarious joke, shaking her head and tutting her tongue as she pats you on the head and jokes that some kind of shark or something must’ve gotten on board while her back was turned. Though if you consistently do it, she may ask if you’ve gotten into the liquor (she’s got a few crew members who get a little… bitey, once they’ve had a few drinks), or kind of semi-awkwardly try to redirect you onto something (or someone) else. Eventually she just resigns to her fate though, and you get to nibble on her to your heart's content! She’ll just sort of phase it out after a while.

Hu Tao kind of adores it - she lives for non-traditional acts of affection and the like, so will almost immediately try to get you back. She’ll turn it up a notch and just CHOMP down on you, giggling all the while. She thinks it's a very silly and fun way of communicating affection, and it feels strangely natural to her, as do most ‘unorthodox’ ways of making people know how much she likes them. She’s fairly well known for doing things like this in her own unorthodox way, and once she knows you're open to it, you'll often find yourself on the receiving end of one of her rather 'quirky' ways of showing affection, which include tying things to the ends of your hair (usually ribbons, feathers or charms for warding off spirits or bad luck), pocketing some of your belongings while you're not looking or just grabbing ahold of you or your clothing and clinging tight.

Rosaria is entirely baffled, and maybe even a little offended. She’ll pull away sharply and give you a stern look, but won’t directly say anything about it. If you try again, you’ll earn an annoyed sigh. Repeated attempts will reward you with progressively more annoyed reactions, eventually escalating to you getting bopped (mostly gently) on the head with a book or paper she has on hand. After that, if you do it again, she can and will just walk away. She doesn’t understand and doesn’t really have a heavy desire to try and understand - all she knows is that it’s bothering her and she doesn’t like it. If you're in a situation that she isn't able to walk away from, you'll likely find yourself getting scolded or grumbled at - don't get too upset though, she isn't really that mad, and will forget about it pretty quickly.

It made me laugh a little because in the first chapter, when they killed the half-himbo, Clarke mentally rolls her eyes because Lexa is possessive because Clarke was the bait.

So are you tellin' me that Clarke would not be possessive when Lexa is the bait? And I have another question: is Lexa as flirty as Clarke when she is the bait? Because I can't really see her being flirty but again, they are vampires, they are flirty by nature...

Oh Clarke would possessive. Worse in some ways, actually. Because Lexa's always been in love with her since there were children (the whole, um, apple throwing incident not withstanding👀), and yet still she has the audacity to act as though she has something to worry about. Lexa spent months all those centuries ago watching Clarke being paraded around with various suitors, having to work and serve and listen while the lady of the house went on and on about what a wonderful wife Clarke would make for her husband. What a good mother. How they'll find her the most dashing beau in society. I mean Clarke was engaged for God's sake 😑and Lexa had to deal with the emotional punches through all of that, all while still being unerringly faithful and loyal to their love.

That aside, I wouldn't say Lexa is flirty per se. Certainly not in the same way Clarke is when she is on the hunt (cue Clarke in a fanged-out fit of jealousy, "fiNE I'm hypocrite, but Lexa? She touched your ass and you barely stopped her and you're nOT going to make me calm down about this 😡). Lexa's more of that aloof kind of predator. She let's the prey come to her. She lets her natural draw pull people in - that moody, dark eyed aura she has about her whenever the thirst is in control. But also the annoying thing about that is they both tend to prefer feeding on people who are... less than stellar, if you will. That nagging bit of humanity trapped inside among their demons always colors their game, fighting between the sweetness that comes from the innocent and wanting a victim whose absence would actually be a gift to society, so sometimes it takes a minute for her to decide on someone. Which inevitably just annoys Clarke all the more for a myriad of reasons. It's... it's a whole headache when Lexa is the bait 🤧

kind of related but not- I'm genuinely sorry to be posting so much or about Lily Orchard, guys. Prior to Courtney coming on and telling us her story I was mostly just taken aback and angry with Lily as "one of those critic types" in my circle of vision.

It sucks -and yeah I know other critics don't want to hear this+Lily will use this fact as an excuse to discredit ppl's complaints abt her. but I think a lot of us were initially exposed to Lily because they knew of andor were fans of her cartoon criticism content. In my case I knew Lily from her days of Bronydom and have watched her make more and more meanMEAN material even w it's not about internal fandom dramacallouts. Back in those days and up to last year I could say of Lilly the same thing I'd say for a lot of people who annoy me online: I think she's a bully. Which is still bad, it's just not 'criminal', inherent. Comparing her to Rebecca Sugar, Lindsay Ellis, Contrapoints or VivziePop would be stupid as she really doesn't have even half the portfolio or wherewithall as any of those people -or even Zena and Poppy, not that they're angels. Lily was/is annoying because she'd use other people's genuine concerns and talking points. There's a certain takenupbyaltlight-term that I begrudginly would love to use for Lily that REALLY hits the nail on the head with her, be it as a fan, a critic or an activist. But I won't use it. Not because it's untrue, but because it's used by the same people who write her kiwifarm pages and misgender her and clearly couldn't give a crap about her if she didn't make them "lol"

But then, I actually looked at some of Britt's receipts and skimmed bits and pieces of what remains of Stockholm (I think you all already know this but @britts-galaxy-brain the links are missing now). For years, I'd known and listened to others honestly harp on Lily as some kind of counter-initiative for her going after their fav foalcon people. I assumed it was more of the same. It's not. Lily 100% wrote cp and is trying to hide it. No not fiction abt young adults that delves into erotic and sexisms; not stuff with aged-up child characters being big boobied of themselves thru the gaze or r34 artists. She wrote cp.

Essense of Thought's and that one hour long video talking about Stockholm were the first real horrifying revelation. Then I read through Brittney's saved messages from Lily and 'Tara'. Then I saw Patch's video.

THEN, Courtney came out and told everyone on here and her server everything we needed to know. I don't abide by everything Courtney says, especially about her abusers but I mean they're her abusers and please stop asking her to like the children who're valued more than her in the lives of her abusers, or at least maybe vent openly not to Courtney directly about your fear for those kids Cameron has. Yeah, I'm also concerned but idk there's got to be a better way to handle this. Anyway, as previously stated, I believe Courtney, Britt, and Patch. There's no way that those people have faked that stuff. I've heard kind of stretched explanations being true, but there's no way Stockholm was "edited by pedos" like Lily's saying it was I know I'm missing a few folks in there but I believe a lot of people have been genuinely victimized by LO and aren't just acting out of transphobia, bigotry.

Of what I can attest based on what I've seen, I KNOW that Lily Orchard wrote 'fluffy' foalcon and is saying she didn't, and also that the woman hates the word "queer".

Of what has been shown to me, I fully BELIEVE Lily Orchard is an abusive, sockpuppeting predator. Not only that, she's hiding behind other predator's existence to lie to her audience of other abused people to convince both them and herself that she couldn't possibly be a predator.

In 2013, what was 10 years from now, there was a controversy in the MLP fandom where a minor rose a (not undeserved) stink abt the askblog Princess Molestia and how it was making light of r*pe, intentionally or not. To counter this, a bunch of mouthbreathing bronies took it upon themselves to prove they weren't creeps by threatening the underrage sa victim, making r*pe porn of her while other mouthbreathers basically said "yeah put she's [the minor] annoying so it's the same kind of evil we're doing, really". Centrists.

Why this matters to me is (CW. CW. CW) you can find a post from Tara Callie, who was almost certainly one of Lily's alts at the time, admitting she found the r*pe art of Pinkiepony "hot", all the while Lily herself was publicly denouncing Pinkie's treatment by the fandom.

Lily Orchard is an awful human being. She does not have intrusive thoughts or fears of acting on those intrusive thoughts sometimes, like me and other people do. She has sexual and violent urges that she hides enough form the public to not make her followers suspect anything. She's twofaced and takes out her probable self-hate by attacking other predators. She's all deflection and lies. I can not believe a thing that vile woman says. Neither should you.

The biggest means of fighting her I think we all can do of is refusing to use her critical tag w we talk about her. Spam her "own tag". Enough hiding and denying who this terrible bigoted abusive woman really is.

Because really, her thoughts on glubshitto or whoever from Owl House are HARDLY the worst of it. Not even.

I could read stories that have love triangles, poly relationships and even side relationships with other members. But it's so rare for me to enjoy ships with between members though. Like let's say there's the story where OC x Member are in a relationship with Member x Member as side ships. Maybe. I'm not so into side couples, but there are times when I'll make an exception if that couple is well written in stories.

And if the ship isn't harmful (in my opinion), then I'd have nothing against people who enjoy those ships.

I'm just personally not into those ships.

Yes! For example.. There's this boy. So our mothers were childhood friends, and we were actually raised more like cousins than friends. And we were close.

We aren't close anymore. That's besides the point.

People kept telling us to date, get married and even have children.. Everything that you could think of in this situation that would be worst than the last too.

That was awkward. We aren't attracted to the other in any romantic or sexual way, only a familial way. It was always so annoying to hear that from people all the time. That wasn't the only time either. There is a lot of people who just try coupling me with guys I'm close to because of how close we are or we were.

That's what I imagine with the members. The group is like a family, they act like brothers more than a lot of other ships. So I can't imagine them romantically or sexually together in that way. That's my opinion.

And I don't date for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with this. So I'm not getting into that.

And our parents always had us in the same classes growing up and they always used to tease us that we would get married one day. A true childhood friends to lovers situation. But as we got older we grew apart and honestly now could not be more different. But again the difference between our situations is I still consider him one of my best friends. I just don’t see him all that often. But out relationship has grown into that kind of comfortable adult type where we hug goodbye and it’s not awkward. I’m really grateful for him still.

A situation closer to what your describing is more like me and a friend I met in 6th grade. I was always more of a “one of the boys” girlie so I had almost exactly what happened to you happen to me with him which made highschool awkward sometimes. But we remain close as well. He’s in a relationship now and so am I. And we never dated.

In regards to the boys, you get it. That’s exactly how I see them. They’re brothers. Best friends. Family. They’re so comfortable around one another that I don’t even think about it. After pretty move in to Chris flat they were cuddling and scenting her that means also her scent lingering on him too right (but not too strong but more than just a roommate way bcs in my head he is alpha his scent too strong and stubborn to goes weak or disappear idk if it’s wrong or). The first time he visit his parents house after she move in they notice that scent it’s obviously not his packmates it’s new and his father like questioning directly like “do you got into relationship” Chris confusing “no, why?”, ”that scent lingering on you?!” He goes blushing but act fool “idk what are you talking about dad” his that don’t push too much bcs that obviously his son don’t want to talk about whatever that is so he just leave it. His MOM knows pretty’ scent too well but also act fool like in outside “anyway how’s your new roommate? Is she kind? Is she kind to your pack mates?” But in the inside her brain goes crazy like ”NDJDJSJDHDHWKAIDNDXO IT IS A POSSIBILITY OF THEY GOT TOGETHER?!!”

2. When after they got together visit his parents house to sleepover. They eating dinner together and little bit chating just a usually goes how their visiting and they go to his room to sleep pretty and chris lying on the bed kissing, cuddling that makes Chris so worked up (i can’t blame him 🤷‍♀️) when he goes too deep pretty like “no baby, I don’t want to disrespect your parents, they literally sleeping in same house” and he reassure her that room is soundproof he went trough his rut in this room (he was teenager where else he go) until he move out (i mean it’s werewolves house so they went trough their rut and heats in their room it must be a soundproof no one wants to hear their parents or children’s rut or heat sound) and in here idk how she act. Is she turns him down and he pout, whines little bit but if she doesn’t feel comfortable ofc he respect her and turns himself down or on the other hand she seduced by him. If that happens HERE IS THE POINT I WANT TO SAY soundproof doesn’t mean scent proof his parents know by the scent and they don’t react at all outside BUT HIS MOM’S BRAIN “PUPS, THEY GONNA HAVE PUPS SKDJDRNFJK” after they leave the house she runs to her husband “WE’RE GONNA HAVE GRAND PUPS HONEYYYY” he also happy that his wife happy “honey don’t get too excited, they are still young and they didn’t even mated yet but yeah eventually we’re gonna have grand pups”. Please do not take this note as an anti, since most likely you will not agree with me, but ..

I do think that Helaena should have left the book version for a number of reasons:

1. She is cheerful and sweet. She had a wonderful relationship with Alicent. She is a good mother who loved her children very much.

2. She was loved by the smallfolk (and this was very well emphasized at the time of her death)

3. She did advise Aegon and was quite active until B&C. And in principle, they had a fairly normal relationship.

But in the show... she was made into a "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" type for no reason. Yes, I understand that she is most likely autistic, as many assume, but the fact is that it literally does not participate in the life of the family in any way and does not play any role in the Green Party. They omitted the fact that she, along with her maester and mother, assisted Aegon in negotiations with Rhaenyra.

Or the fact that she literally has no interest in her own children. Yes, there is very little screen time, but the only scene with her and the children is shown in such a way that she keeps her distance from them.

I'm not talking about the fact that being a wife and mother, she behaves absolutely childishly. If as a teenager she was just quiet and calm, then as an adult she is somehow chaotic and narrow-minded for her age. She acts absolutely strange and detached from everyone.

And the fact that the writers made her a dreamer... literally for nothing. More precisely, it was made a walking spoiler for us - the audience, but we do not need it. We can watch what is happening on the screen, we do not need prompts. Moreover, her predictions do not play any role for others, because they are simply not heard and ignored - every single time and this is honestly a little annoying. Moreover, she constantly speaks in some kind of quiet riddles, naively believing that everyone will understand. Some cite Cassandra as an example, but no, sorry. Cassandra had a curse, but no one wants to hear Helaena and she does not make any effort to ensure that at least someone believes her, so everyone treats her as "out of her mind".

And yes, the most annoying part is that there are a lot of Helaemond shippers (I'm not anti, I just don't understand where they got any rationale for a pairing when there's nothing there) claiming that Alys's plot will be given to Helaena just because she also has visions, which is completely absurd, since the Harrenhal storyline (and Alys herself) is very important, which cannot be said about Helaena, who became completely invalid after B&C. And the very role of Helaena was only to be a victim from the actions of more influential figures. Some try to give her a bigger role than she really is, but why? This is not necessary.

I’m saying all this to the fact that if Helaena was a book version, people would empathize with her more than in the series, because they saw that from a cheerful and pleasant girl who did nothing wrong to anyone, she mentally broke down due to the death of her child. Personally, I find it hard to empathize with someone who does nothing to try and save their family, KNOWING what the future holds for them.

Hello there. I made this post a while ago critiquing Helaena's depiction in the show, touching on some of the points you mentioned. I think that she really suffers from having literally just a few minutes of screen time and just a couple of lines. It's very difficult to flesh out any character in those conditions - same situation if they tried to depict straight-up book!Helaena. So they stuck her in this weird limbo where they gave her a lot of new traits but didn't build them up in much of a way. She's kind of both under-developed but with a lot of identifiable personality traits - a peculiar space to describe.

I don't know why they made her a dragon dreamer. Ideally, there's going to be some pay-off to this eventually, but, equally, they could have just thought it would be cool and spooky to have her recite a couple of weird riddles. I don't know what's in the writers' heads. There could have been some commentary about Viserys wanting all his life to be a dreamer and believing that he was and, when finally having a dreamer daughter, he just ignores her. But there wasn't. Not even from Alicent. That's absolutely a writing choce, as they obviously sacrificed Helaena's development and screen time. Moreover, I'm not sure what the pay-off could be. It can't influence or change any of the events, so is she just supposed to be tortured preemptively by images of her family dying?

I wouldn't say that she does nothing to try and save her family, as it's implied that she doesn't understand (or remember?) her own visions. She does try to tell people what she sees or, at least, make them aware she is seeing something. But what's even weirder is that no one around her seems to understand that she's a dreamer either. She tells everyone "there is a beast between the boards", then Meleys comes up through the floor and they still don't get it? Maybe they will next season, who knows. But it's still weird to have a lifetime of visions like this and no one in the family putting 2 and 2 together.

RE: Helaemond. Honestly, I've only ever seen this ~speculation~ that Alys will be cut from the show a few months ago and then it died down. And it very much didn't feel like a crime? It was just idle chatter from people contemplating what direction the show could go in; I've certainly not seen any International Revolution Agenda from helaemonds trying to convince the fandom or putting pressure on HBO to cut Alys from the show and give her part to Helaena lol. Likewise, helaemonds were not the ones who decided to duplicate Alys' supposed powers and give them to Helaena, it was the show-runners who did that in the first place. I think this was just born out of a desire to figure out why the dragon dreaming was introduced in the first place or whether it will result in any pay-off at all.

As for why would people want to give her a bigger role. She is the only female green character apart from Alicent* and literally the Queen lol. It's normal for people to want her be more involved.

*there's also Jaehaera but she has an even smaller role for the duration of the Dance. So we basically have 2 female green characters vs 5 male characters (Aegon, Aemond, Daeron, Otto, Criston), who all have their own storylines and get to do impressive stuff. Whereas Alicent and Helaena drop off after B&C. Yeah, the story could be improved in that regard.

He's actually surprisingly affectionate! He's usually very hesitant about it due to inexperience. He's usually very silently physically affectionate and does a lot of cuddling, grabbing, physical manhandling and touching. When he does verbally express it he's usually very straightforward, blunt and confused.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He's... not a very good best friend honestly? He's not very helpful or amicable, and even with people he's close with he tends to be very prickly and standoffish.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Yes! 100%! He usually curls up into a ball, or curls in on others and tucks himself into small spaces, or does the opposite and splays out wildly. He doesn't often cuddle other people, usually only doing it with his s/o.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

It's less he wants to an more like he can't conceptualize it. He's pretty good at cooking and cleaning but only with his own space/clothes/dishes.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

re : domestic, he can't really imagine himself getting married, or even engaged. It's something he'd have to slowly ease into over a very long time, much later in life.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Unintentionally or not, he's not very gentle. It also depends on his mood... but the difference is kind of like comparing asphalt to sandpaper.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He looooooves hugs (if they're from someone he loves) but doesn't frequently initiate. If his s/o hugs him, he'll accept them and reciprocate, but if they don't he likely won't initiate. He tends to be stunned for a second when the hug starts, but when he hugs back it's very tight and firm, and he tries to bury himself into the person he's hugging. Usually bumps his head/face into their chest/shoulder/neck area.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He says it slow enough it's understandable, unless you're not paying attention, but quickly enough it's obvious he's forcing it out of his mouth before he gets too embarrassed. Like tearing off a bandaid.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Very easily. Usually it's a simmering feeling that's indistinguishable from when he gets usually annoyed, so he gets lowkey aggressive and bitchy with the person he's jealous of. Most of the time he'd rather just leave than start a fight, but after he leaves he's definitely talking to his s/o about how he doesn't like that person. It doesn't register as jealousy until much later, when his annoyance escalates to full-blown fighting the person he's jealous of (or sometimes even his s/o)

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He's deeply inexperienced so the most he can tolerate are little pecks. He'd have to ease into anything else, but he probably would enjoy just lingering kisses.

He likes being kissed on the face/head, and likes kissing on the cheek.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Really, extremely awkward. He doesn't know how to interact with kids, and the usual way he acts is not very kid-friendly, so he's just standing stiff, and completely lost as to what to do. Very unusual for a person who has 2 younger siblings.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Up early enough that the sun hasn't even risen, usually by the time most people wake up he's already eaten and came back from a 3 mile run. He'll probably cook something for his s/o when they wake up, but also it would be easy to beckon him into the temptation of a nap and cuddles. In which, he'd probably just be dead asleep.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

He usually takes naps throughout the day so a lot of the time he stays up super late. If he goes out he's gonna be wandering around the city and feeding stray cats and eating dinner at a food truck. If he stays home he's likely going to attempt homework/study or just watch TV, trying to find something to occupy his brain until he eventually falls asleep.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He's very slow to open up. You could probably know him for Years and not know a single thing about him. The only reason why Olivia knows anything about him is because she spent years witnessing it.

With his s/o... he's quicker to open up, especially if it's causing problems. But only a little bit. A lot of the time he's very avoidant of difficult topics that stress him out because he's already constantly stressed out by them.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Extremely. It's his entire brand. He's always at least a little annoyed constantly, which devolves into anger and frustration very quickly.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He's actually very observant. So he'll notice things he can see (what foods you dislike, that shirt thay caught your eye, etc.) But when it comes to things he's been told, he only remembers it if he thinks it's important.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Probably when he first takes the player/MC to feed some stray cats and he kinda just watches as they interact. He finds it very cute!

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Very, very protective, although it seems to come from feelings of possession rather that wanting to keep someone safe? Usually he expresses it by being aggressive and intimidating others, but also by telling his s/o what to do/not do (also through physical force and intimidation if he deems necessary).

He doesn't think it's necessary for him to be protected.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He's doesn't put a Ton of effort because he tends to overthink and then give up and half ass things out of exhaustion. He's also perfers to keep things simple, so don't expect any grandiose gifts or dates from him. He's plenty helpful with daily tasks though!

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He tends to assume other peoples' feelings and thoughts, especially in poor faith. He also is incredibly stubborn and defensive, and will shut down any argument you have, and isn't willing to listen to others. If he gets too annoyed, he turns extremely aggressive. He has the self awareness that he's not being very logical but doesn't care to change his way of thinking.

Also he eats eggs with the shell on. Not exactly a bad habit but a weird one.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not very. He doesn't really put much effort into his appearance and mostly does the bare minimum. He'll be more inclined to do things if his s/o suggests, and he really likes them.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

100%, he would lose it without his s/o. He places an extreme amount of reliance on their existence giving him direction in life. Without them, he's back to aimlessly doing nothing, having nothing to look forward to, and nothing to work for.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

As much as he owns merchandise of calico and tabby cats, his favorite kind are actually ragdolls. He think they're very cute and sweet looking.

So, I've finally caught up to Representation for Miraculous. I have some thoughts, but nothing like I did with Migration. That one hit a special nerve. Beware for any spoilers for Miraculous S5

Intuition:

Gabriel is ballsy. I do commend him for his risk and seeing the failures, but holy fuck. The whole thing with his afib and the heart beating made me squirm, but only because I suffer from heart problems myself, so it made me uneasy hearing that.

Pretension:

Ok. Feligami is cute.

Revelation:

Boring until Hoaxer, then it got interesting.

Confrontation:

Kudos to Sabrina for taking a stand. Also, short hair Lila is choice. Granted I love short hair on women.

Also, am I missing something, or did Juleka not have a speech problem back in season 1? It could just be me, but I thought she spoke fine at least until the later seasons when she started mumbling everything. Did I miss something?

Collusion:

Leave the fucking pregnant woman alone!! FFS!! I fucking get that Chloe is a brat and is gonna be that way, but Gabriel, leave the pregnant woman alone! Fuck! I nearly fucking cried when she got akumatized after dealing with all that stress of the day. FFS!

Now for the one (I assume) people are really interested in. Revolution:

I fucking laughed. So, yes, I acknowledge that in a fantasy, fictional world that kind of shit can happen. But in the real world and real world logic, there's no fucking way any of that would have happened. It's just like my nitpick with Jagged "just ripping up his contract." In the sense of our world, it wouldn't work. So, I don't know how to take this episode. I didn't hate it, but it did make me laugh with how nonsensical it was. So, it could have been worse.

Overall I didn't hate Chloe. She fulfilled her role well enough. I am more annoyed with Andre though. Kudos for wanting to fix your mistakes, but maybe grow a backbone and punish your daughter? No? Send her off with Audrey? Cool. Whatever.

Another thing I have is the fucking deus ex machina moment for Ladybug and Chat Noir. Fuck that shit. It's painfully obvious and while good deus ex machina moments exist, that wasn't one of them. I would have preferred there was more build up because, to me, they aren't grown up. They are still kids physically and mentally. Emotionally too. Fuck it, all around.

Now for spoiler territory. Representation:

I don't know. It could have been worse?

So, the story of the Agrestes and Graham de Vanillies was interesting, but a part of me wishes we learned in a different way. Or at the very least, not have Felix and Kagami act it out. I wanted to laugh so hard at it because it came off as so silly. Though I do like the idea that Adrien and Felix were literally miracle children. That I do love.

Also, this will be triggering to some and cause some hate, but I need to get this off my chest.

Felix, honey, I acknowledge that being called a monster all your life by someone who was supposed to "love" you is extremely damaging, but I don't think that necessarily make Colt a thousand times worse than Tomoe or any other abusive parents. I know pain is relative and it falls to the perspective of the individual, but I was expecting a lot worse. Again, it could just be me, but I expected so much worse from Colt than just controlling his son and calling him a monster. As far as I see it, Colt just falls in line with all the other shitty parents. Nothing special.

Last thing that confuses me is Chat/Adrien's nightmare. I get it's meant to be a reference to Chat Blanc and the danger he possesses, but why? As far as we know, Adrien would have absolutely no idea about those events, only Marinette. So, why that? I was honestly expecting something to do with him as Adrien, not Chat. But I guess we need to fabricate a reason for Adrien not to tell Marinette the truth and give him trauma. Right? Right?

And wouldn't he still remember it anyway despite the miracle being performed? It's a nightmare after all. That shit haunts you. And the way Gabriel made it sound was that it just bought their worst fears to the conscious rather than dwelling in the subconscious, y'know, as nightmares do. Also, no one tell Juleka, but if I'm reading her nightmare right, Jagged doesn't really love her. I don't care about the birthday episode since all we see is Jagged giving attention to Luka, not Juleka too. But that's just my hot take.

Last thing for Representation I want to call out. Marcaniel canon finally?! Yes please. You cannot convince me otherwise after seeing them away from the crowd, alone, holding hands, and about to do what we all know was gonna happen. First JuleRose, now Marcaniel. Best part of the episode.

Though when you started acting like a child, it kind of threw him off

He doesn't get your thing about the color red, but you do you

He also likes red, but not that much

He finds it really endearing when you start humming nursery rhymes

He usually stops whatever he's doing to listen to you

It makes grin like a dork, and he just wants to sweep you into his arms

Leon's probably not gonna figure oit the truth about you for a while

Whenever someone mentions the serial killer "Cutthroat", he's just like "eh, whatever"

He doesn't even consider the possibility of it being you

If he were to find out, he would freak the eff out and never see you again

But as long as you're careful, you shouldn't have to worry about it

Another one who doesn't pay much attention to the serial killers of today

He doesn't even watch the news

So you just looked like a regular ass person when he saw you

And a weird ass, as well

Your strange obsession with the color red freaked him out

Like red's a cool color and all, but damn

He also found it weird that you always wore white and often acted like a child

You were actually kind of annoying at first

But he fell for you

Your childishness was a lot to get used to, but Mondo learned to love it

He also loves listening to you hum children's rhymes

He'll never say it out loud, but he loves the sound of your voice

It makes him smile

It's not too likely that he'll find out the truth about you

He doesn't even care when people start talking about the serial killer Cutthroat

And if anyone were to even mention your name, he'll scream at them for even daring to compare you to some nasty ass serial killer

But if he finds out it's true, he gets pretty freaking mad

It might not be enough to make him dump you, but he's not too happy that you didn't tell him

If it happens to be on, he gets curious, but he immediately turns it off when some dark and scary shit is brought up

So he's probably heard your name once or twice, but he tries not to pay much mind to it

As long as you use your real name and not your serial killer alias, you're good to go

So he has heard your name, and your style of murder, but he doesn't know exactly what you look like

So when he sees you in public, he doesn't think too much of it

Though you do seem a bit strange, but he's not one to judge a book by his cover, so he introduces himself anyway!

You're actually not that bad

Your fascination with the color red is very interesting to him

And your compliments about his eyes makes his face turn the same color, but he appreciates it

Your childishness kind of throws him off a bit, but he'll get used to it

Hearing you hum children's rhymes makes him smile

Out of everyone, Taka is the most likely to figure out the truth

The more he learns about Cutthroat, the more he realizes how alike the two of you are

It's just a messy situation overall

Even just from the name of Reverse Live, I feel as though I can clearly sense their intention to reverse the hands on the clock, all the way back to the golden era of idols.

Hokuto: Really? I actually read it more in the sense of a reversal of power against authority.

Well, these mystifying and wonderful days will soon come to an end. The thought of it makes me feel both disappointed and yet relieved, in a way — this whole time, I’ve felt like I've been in a waking dream.

Jun: I could say the same thing. Who'd have ever thought I'd get to face off against you… When you’re an idol, every day is seriously just full of things you'd expect to only happen in dreams~ ♪

Well, that's enough of that. Sorry, Hidaka-sensei; I just had to say something to him, or I'd never find closure…

Seiya: Of course. There's no problem with that. If anything, I'm relieved to see your exchange was more peaceful than I imagined.

…That may be less desirable where Lilith is concerned, but for us idols, to love is still more correct than to loathe.

Seiya: And although we've spent many days of practice just for this day, Rain-bows will be going onstage without much of that…

So as a battle tactic, it wouldn't be wrong to rob them of even more time by conversing with them.

Hokuto: Playing dirty again… Is that the reason you’re proposing we have a joint practice too? To take advantage of our time and get in our way?

Jin: Ooh, full of confidence, huh? But this is your debut performance, isn't it? You’ve got nothing on us in terms of experience; we’ve been involved with Project-Saga since its birth.

So between us, I wonder who exactly's gonna be in trouble for wasting time?

For us Rain-bows, it’s just a matter of doing our usual work, but for you guys? It’s your first ever fight, isn't it?

Which one will end up being the true intention of Reverse Live will be decided from hereon, whether we like it or not.

I don’t mind either way, but I do hope that... we can show the audience a marvelous surprise.

What are ur issues w Hulu Futurama?

tbh when it was announced i did have excitement in me about my number one show ever returning, but then i remembered all the bullshit that i hated in the cc run and i was just immediately skeptical and for good reason bc i am usually right. i will say that i rly am a fry/leela as characters and as a couple girlie so i am being insanely biased (my man stays dragging me saying i need to put more energy into other aspects of the show lol) but i do like other characters if the show cares about them. but that's the main issue with this revamp. the show put care into literally EVERYONE except fry and leela who are the MAIN characters. (i do think a lot of the weird "there's no main character" kinda stuff was due to bendergate - and yes i am annoyed that dimaggio allegedly has billing over billy who plays the LEAD as well as two other main characters - but it's also strange that w all that fuss, even if it was just for publicity which i doubt at this point, that bender didn't rly do all that much either?) i started noticing like two series rewatches ago that as we get later into the series, we get more planet express crew centric episodes rather than fry/leela/bender episodes, and i'm fine with that for the most part bc i adore amy and hermes, but it feels weird that they kept so much of the vibe of the cc stuff in the show considering how much most people despise those seasons.

to answer simply, almost every episode was either bad, boring, far too fanservicey (looking at you pointless parasites lost "sequel" bc how dare u shit on that episode's legacy so fucking badly), or just forgettable. the episodes i genuinely liked were children of a lesser bog, related to items you've viewed and i know what you did less xmas. i found all of those to be enjoyable and everything else to be complete and utter shit. COALB honestly surprised me bc i have never cared about kif/amy bc the show didn't rly ever care about them (always felt soooo bad for their shippers w the zapp shit and then the bender shit), and i rly rly like that they did a major status quo shift by letting them have children and actually letting those children be a part of the cast. lauren tom is mother and she killed that episode and i am so happy for her that they allowed her to show her acting chops bc i think her line delivery is insanely underrated in general. (off topic but anyone complaining ab them switching leo's voice actor to an asian man needs to grow up, that should've been the case from day one.) i knew i would enjoy RTIYV bc it was a freela status quo shift but i actually also really enjoyed the momazon plot and found it amusing/funny. very very odd that there wasn't any~major freela moments in their ONE focused episode, but w/e. it's a mixed bag bc i also would've literally died for the cc seasons to give us background stuff w them. i do love that they kind of threw back to the fry/leela/bender days with this, it felt nice and nostalgic. the xmas episode was GREAT esp bc i always hate the xmas episodes (the first one has a special place in my heart bc you're lonely and i'm lonely but together we're lonely together <3), it was so fun getting to see everyone as a family (SO happy they're acknowledging dwight and cubert exist again even tho canonically they should be grown men by now lmao) and the bender/zoidberg stuff was surprisingly sweet (honestly when they give zoidberg an ep where he bonds w any of the pe crew it's enjoyable, the hermes episode was good, the professor episode was good, now this episode is good)

now to get to my issues. i don't want to say that they shouldn't have listened to fans and given us what we want to see, but i feel like there was so much weird shit that no one was asking for? parasites regained is the most egregious example bc who tf was like "omg we need to see the worms again but this time in a gross out potty humor episode!" no one. they need to STOP with bringing back every fucking character too, like barbados slim is a good example of this. he's been used so sparingly that he is pretty loved in the fandom, but w them making hermes/labarbara an actual stable relationship (a good thing that they then immediately ruined for jokes no one finds all that funny) it was SO weird and annoying for them to play back into the "haha labarbara is cheating on hermes!" schtick again. why was the whale biologist back? why was the time machine brought back?! like i know i said i liked the xmas episode but certain things are just so iconic to the show that they need to remain untouched. pissed me off. why can't they give us shit we actually want to see? robot devil song and dance number. zoidberg/marianne (just give her another fucking voice actor if they can't get emilia clarke jfc). hedonismbot as long as he's not overused and just given a few one-off lines (did we even see him????) hmmm idk the main thing a HUGE majority of fans have been asking for for twenty fucking years in a SEQUEL TO THE WHY OF FRY????

also did anyone think it was odd how after the cc seasons cramming zapp down our throats every other episode we barely saw him?? even in COALB he was kind of irrelevant. my guess would be they didn't want to over exert billy but the professor had a ton to do so ???

there's so much else that i could probably complain about and go into but i will leave it at this: i do not like the cc seasons BUT i am glad they exist bc of the late philip j fry which is not just a perfect episode of futurama, it's a perfect episode of television. until the hulu seasons give me a TLPJF than they don't have a reason to exist. this sadly just felt like a money grab and yes, i will admit that there were good moments/episodes but as a whole, it did not need to come back. i'm hoping they're saving the masterful writing that i KNOW they can do for the next season (look at season 4! banger after banger. kif gets knocked up a notch, jurassic bark, the why of fry, the sting, the farnsworth parabox. three hundred big boys, the devil's hands are idle playthings) but tbh i feel like that fire/spark is just gone from the production team.

I think you misunderstood why I dislike Tavros and how he's seen, which I will preface you are absolutely right to misunderstand, upon rereading I didn't actually make my point, which is 100% on me. And you are definitely allowed to disagree with me however I do want to make sure that my point isn't misread.

My dislike of Tavros isn't from a place of being annoyed at him or thinking that he's not a victim, he absolutely is. It's that his victimhood is used by fans and by him as an excuse for his behavior which is often really damaging and kinda shitty.

This is the troll that found out that he seriously hurt Jade and basically responded with "I had good intentions and that absolves me of fault and anger, and I'm hurt that you're still upset at me! But it's okay I forgive you, and I forgive myself for hurting you" which is such a cruel response!

In every instance he "gains confidence" he almost immediately starts uncomfortably flirting with whoever has shown him any kindness. You see it with him flirting with Jade after the aforementioned interaction as soon as she showed any sense that she might not treat him like trolls treat her, or flirting with Kanaya (who is a lesbian) when she helps him in Pesterquest.

After dying and the Tavrissprite debaucle he again starts acting like an absolute tool, getting in everyone's face and acting like a spoiled child.

And the worst part is on the rare occasion that someone calls out his behavior he starts to claim victimhood and claims that that absolves him of his actions, like because he was hurt he now has a license to act however he wants and people have to give him pity.

Again you're allowed to disagree, and he is absolutely a victim, but that doesn't give him a license to act how he does

I’m glad you’re taking the blame on the fact that you did not, in fact, make any point in your original ask outside of insult. I’m also glad that you’re open to disagreement, because I’m gonna take you up on that. So, yeah, if you don’t mind, I’ve got a few counterpoints for this:

This level of shitty behavior is typical for… Just about every single Homestuck character. Sure, you can dislike Tavros for his specific brand of shitty behavior, but he’s absolutely not special, nor is he an isolated case in this regard. He’s not even the only character to behave in this exact manner- I get that he’s the focal point here, but I still need to point that out. He isn’t special. Hell, some fan favorites are known for doing worse things than this.

Pesterquest is not canon, and therefore is not a valid example of his character within canon. Yes, it is official content, but it is quite literally not canon. These two labels can coexist.

Tavros is a socially inept 13 year old boy. He’s 13 years old. 13. He is a middle schooler. He is an awkward 13 year old boy who has been put through the fucking wringer, the fact that he’s doing shitty things makes complete and utter sense. Genuinely, he could be so much worse. Yes, the things he did were shitty, but he’s a kid. They do that. Kids are shitty sometimes. They don’t fuckin’ know any better, dude. I guarantee you that you were kind of a bastard when you were 13.

When you are abused, you do not become a good person. Abuse almost never makes someone a good person, especially not immediately. It makes you an asshole. That’s why Vriska is like that. That’s also why Tavros is like that. In fact, Tavros is like that… Probably largely because of Vriska. Tavros kinda just… Acts like your average 13 year old abuse victim.

Our collective understanding of Tavros as a person- as well as Equius and Eridan, since we’re discussing problem children now- is based on a very troubled literal child with zero sense of self worth. We can’t really judge his morality when his sense of morality/reasonability genuinely is not fully formed yet, and is honestly being actively impeded upon. This is just speculation, but I’m betting that if he’d been given the room to actually grow and mature as a person- you know, past the age of 13- he wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

I’m willing to bet his, yes, highly awkward flirtations were just what he thought you were supposed to do when you were confident. Does that make it ok? No. It’s still weird! I’m not enacting apologetics for that. But as I’ve stated previously… Socially inept 13 year old with no sense of self worth + there’s characters that are worse off than him. Again… 13 year olds are just… Like that, sometimes.

I understand that this could have just been poor wording on your own part, but in your original ask, you literally said that Vriska was “keeping Tavros in check”, so I’m not exactly willing to trust that you have an objective view on the actions of either of these characters. Say that you’re aware he’s a victim all you want, that line just personally raises a lot of red flags for me, and I don’t think you understand the implications of calling abuse someone being “kept in check”. Was Vriska really “keeping him in check” by purposefully physically disabling him, and then constantly ridiculing him for the disability she caused? Was she really in the right for that? Was that something he deserved?

I don’t know, dude. He’s a fictional character, yeah, but it feels kind of weird to be weighing a 13 year old boy’s morality on a scale like this. He hasn’t really done anything warranting much heavy insults, or a callout post, or anything- he’s just a kid who was kind of a social fuck-up. If you’re so heated about Tavros’s level of shitty, I kinda have to wonder if there’s any Homestuck characters you even can tolerate. They’re all kind of assholes. You know… Because they’re children.
