imagine: you get your memories back after years of amnesia to find out your whole species is dead and earth doesn’t exist anymore. that the only thing left of your culture is your weird ex and his busted honda civic that barely even works that he stole from the government when he was 13. And he’s been taking members of an alien species for trips in his honda civic and they’re all like “woah it’s so cool” and you get upset because it’s NOT COOL it’s a honda civic, the turn signals don’t even work “wow it can go up hills” yeah OF COURSE IT CAN GO UP HILLS EVERY CAR COULD DO THAT. but they’ve never seen a car before so everything it does is the coolest thing ever. And your ex’s only tool is a fucking screwdriver which is somehow also cool to this dumbass alien species even though it’s a fucking screwdriver so you just look like an idiot screaming about how none of this is even cool it’s actually really shitty but your whole planet is gone so you can’t even prove it but also you’ve had a constant drumming sounding in your head since you were 10 slowly driving you insane. I would become evil too.

石田お寿司 21/11/21 Translation Part 4
This is not the full translation of the stream. I only translated the parts I could understand & interpret or parts I found interesting/important. I’m still a beginner in Japanese, so the translations may not be accurate. If you want to repost, please repost at your own risk.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(t/n: * at the end of sentence = translation may not be accurate)
Ishida’s book recommendation
C: Any book recommendations?
I: Don’t think so. It’s hard to recommend books to someone unless you know that person. For instance, what problems they have, what kind of book suits them, and what kind of books would be okay to recommend? For people who suffer from mental health issues, psychology books that’s easy to read such as book on depression is recommended. I like this kind of books, so I often read them. These books might be suitable, but if you want a stronger solution to your issues, then philosophy books would the choice. But these books could potentially poison you. You might think there is no meaning in living anymore after reading them. I think there are stages or directions in what kind of words you should hear. There are words/phrases that might not be suitable for you (t/n: as in words that could affect you negatively in your current situation). It’d be risky to recommend books like that. There are books that I found to be interesting too.
C: Isn’t it depends on the severity of the problems?
I: I think it depends on what kind of mental health problems you have. If they’re work-related issues, then psychology. If you ponder about the meaning of life, then read philosophy books.
Saito Naoki episode
C: Sensei, have you bought Saito Naoki’s Line stamp?
I: I have to buy it. On a second thought, I won’t. I’ve become Saito Naoki’s hater. Can I talk about this? (laughs) I think it’s a mindset problem. Saito Naoki is too kind and too nurturing. How should I put it? He spoils his viewers too much. I feel like he raises a bunch of spoiled illustrators/artists. Though this kind of teaching method fits today’s world. I just think he has introduced a lot of fast-track methods on how to improve your drawing. But I think the opposite. Still, Saito Naoki’s videos are very useful. I learned a lot from them. This is the same like what I said earlier about having stages. I personally think that it’s a bit dangerous to use quick-easy methods. There might be some important steps that are left out. Nevertheless, as long as his viewers/those who take his advice are having fun following his methods, then it’s totally okay.
C: Does he do that due to his affection towards the viewers?
I: It doesn’t have to be affection. After all, I think he does them out of fulfilment. It’s a way of branding himself as well as finding his own style. I think the contents of his videos are amazing. On the other hand, Saito Naoki has a great influence. I think there will be an increase of illustrators/artists adopting Saito Naoki’s style in the future. It’s okay if people wanna copy his art style. But then, if everyone does that, only those who have mastered his style would be successful when they are older. I think there will be a fierce competition. So, try focus on your skills, or do things that others haven’t done before, while still adopting several useful methods (from Saito Naoki). To put it simply, create your own original style. I believe nurturing those abilities is a really good thing to do. But then, that would be a struggle.
I: I don’t know what kind of personality people in today’s generation have, but social media is currently booming. So, I think people nowadays are seeking more approval from others and the desire to be recognised by someone is higher. Competition among them will surely increase. In other words, the more people do the same stuff, the higher the competition. That’s why on top of honing your skills, cultivate your specialty. Nurture the ability that only you possess. Saito Naoki’s videos have very high-quality contents. However, it’s not a good thing to be swayed, like being too absorbed, by his methods.
Ishida on art
C: What kind of artworks is your favourite, Sensei?
I: Let’s see… It’s hard to put it in words, but I like amazing artworks. I like magnificent artworks as well. I like artworks with aspects that catch my attention. Sorry for the boring answer. I probably like artworks that kinda resonate with me. People often say that in art, fetishism is important. I don’t have the same opinion. It doesn’t matter if there’s no element of fetishism in the artworks.
C: Who do you think is good in art, sensei?
I: Countless. Everyone’s so good at it that I don’t particularly have any opinions on that. There’re tons of people who are good in art. There’s a lot of them depending on the different aspects of art, such as the colouring, painting, and lighting. But I don’t look at art that way. I just look at the artworks and give my thoughts on them.
C: How can I draw digitally?
I: How should I say this? Do your own research. (laughs) Seriously, you should think about that yourself. Come up with the solution yourself. Ask Saito Naoki. If you have trouble with your drawing, seek Saito Naoki’s advice. I’m not gonna answer that kind of question. I’m sure you can find a bunch of courses on that online.
C: Naoki will solve everything.
I: Rumour has it that Palette Group has around 2000 members in his channel. It’s 10x our force. How can we destroy Palette Kingdom? I heard this rumour from Goubaru. I thought he’s a member of the group. Seems like his acquaintance is one. But then, it’s something that came from his mouth. I might’ve misunderstood it. I’ll see it for myself. Everyone checks if it’s true or not. It might be wrong. That guy’s a big fat liar after all. That’s why I don’t like him. (laughs) He doesn’t make up lies, but he has false memories. They’re still considered as lies. A lot of people are tricked by him. So, I listened to him with a grain of salt. But I’m sure there’s a lot of members in Palette Group.
C: Have one person kills 10 people. (t/n: OP referring to the fight between Osushi Group & Palette Group)
I: Let’s infiltrate the group and draw only original, bad illustrations.
Ishida Sui, the Pokémon rights activist
C: Play Pokémon.
I: Pokémon? I pity the pokemon, getting caught and get put in a ball. Looking at animal rights’ perspective, my heart hurts over the fact that the monsters are being caged inside a ball. Is it okay to do something like that? It’s a constant worry for me. In the past, I always thought if I could never withdraw Nidoran from the Deposit Box, he’d be stuck inside it forever. I used to be very horrified over that. I often wonder what if I were to be in such position? Being caged inside a pokeball or Deposit Box, and never be able to see the outside world ever again. I wish I could forget about the pokemon.* Either that or have a little bit of interaction with the pokemon without putting them inside the box. You first inflict pain on them, making them weak, and then throw a ball towards them. Then, they get captured. After successfully captured them, you put them in the Deposit Box. They might wanna be freed and live among their friends. Isn’t it sad?
C: Stop! I’m playing Pokémon currently!
I: (laughs) I’m a Pokémon hater. I’m a Palette Group hater. I hate Team Rocket as well.
C: It’s hard for me to play Pokémon now.
I: (Laughs) I know right? Pokémon isn’t my thing. Caging the pokemon like that. To fulfil your desire to collect and fill your pokedex, you capture living creatures. You separate them from their families, inflict pain, sweet-talk to them, force them to evolve, just for the sake of pokedex. How could human do these things?
C: Didn’t you play Pokémon Sword and Shield?
I: (Laughs) Shut up! How did you know about that?
C: This is a hot rumour aim to destroy Pokémon.
I: I’m an extremist after all. I wanna be a radical anytime, anywhere. Well…Pokémon…is nice, isn’t it? (laughs) Pokémon is amazing. I used to be obsessed with Pokémon Sword and Shield. The liveliness of the animals- pokemon, forgive me. I accidentally referred to them as animals. I like their liveliness. I, as an animal rights supporter, played the game without catching one pokemon. I cherished only the one that was given forcefully to me at the beginning. I cleared the game, feeling happy seeing the pokemon being lively. I managed to get champion rank.
I: Pokémon Rap is a good idea, don’t you think? Maybe I should create Pokémon Rap stamps.
C: Maybe Pokémon Snap is more suitable for you.
I: That’s right. Pokémon Snap, huh? Seems boring. Just taking pictures. What’s the purpose of it? I don’t like collecting pokemon, or goods. Stuffs like that. I don’t have the habit of collecting things.

hello! can u please do a reading regarding taeyong's ideal type? and idk if u do nsfw content, but if u can also elaborate on that would be perfect. tysm, love ur work 💕
hi lovely! of course i can but unfortunately i don’t include nsfw in my readings cause i feel uncomfortable doing that without their consent. however, i will try my best to include as much i can :) requests are currently closed so keep an eye out when i’m gonna take requests again!
DISCLAIMER: this is all speculative and for entertainment purposes only, so take it with a grain of salt :)
decks used: modern witch tarot, archetype cards by caroline myss, heavenly bodies astrology, the wild unknown animal by kim krans, gods & titans, goddesses & sirens
(italicised is the card on the bottom of the tarot deck which is meant to represent the subconscious/blind spot of the situation + rx means reversed)
TAEYONG’S IDEAL TYPE
Tumblr media
PERSONALITY
4 of wands, ace of wands, knight of wands rx, queen of pentacles | poet, artist, dragonfly, oya: powerful, jizo: support, pisces: intimacy, intuition and compassion
with the 4 of wands taeyong wants someone who’s very altruistic, family-oriented and balanced, they’re the types to be well-known amongst their family and friend group to be the optimist since they love helping and being surrounded by their loved ones, they have an innate sense of stability and nothing completely “derails” them as they have a very strong sense of self. the ace of wands tells me taeyong wants someone who’s bold and pure-hearted, they have an innate sense of curiosity due to their different hobbies and ideas, since taeyong’s a leo moon with a gemini venus i do get the feeling he wants someone who’s more youthful appearance and maturity wise but are also independent and go after their goals. the knight of wands in reverse tells me taeyong finds people who are spontaneous and go-getters very attractive, since wands cards deal with the fire element (aries, leo, sagittarius) and taeyong got three of them he wants someone who’s a bit of a challenge and is determined with their pursuits, since his moon is in leo and moon deals with emotional satisfaction it’s unsurprising he wants someone to be able to match his level of passion as it’s the more intimate parts of himself. with the queen of pentacles on the bottom i do feel he wants someone who can take care and nurture others too just like himself, i also feel he wants someone who’s aware of their power but uses it for good to help other people, someone who also uses empathy as a strength is also very attractive to him i feel.
with the poet card, someone who’s skilled with words is very attractive to taeyong since his venus and mars are ruled by mercury (gemini and virgo), taeyong could often express his love via words or even acts of service but i do feel communication is the most important trait to him in a relationship wether that’d be verbal or mental. the artist card tells me he wants someone who’s a creative as i can see him wanting to share his work with his partner and get feedback or possibly work together, i can also envision taeyong’s ideal type is someone who draws inspiration from pain and hardship and turn that into art which helps people. the dragonfly card describes someone who is naturally joyful and has a radiant light within that emits from them, his person can definitely be some sort of a serial optimist and is very bubbly especially when surrounded by people they’re comfortable with. with the oya card, he wants someone who doesn’t let any setback derail them from their goals, they pick themselves back up after a setback and will continue working towards making their goals a reality. the jizo card tells me taeyong wants someone who’s able to be his own support system, just like everyone taeyong sometimes doubts himself or his abilities especially due to his virgo mars being a perfectionist so he wants someone who’s able to reassure him and instil that confidence and belief in himself. the pisces card tells me taeyong wants a very cheesy and fairytale type of romance since venus is exalted in pisces, he wants someone who he can live out his dreams with.
APPEARANCE
wheel of fortune, strength, 10 of wands rx, 10 of swords rx | healer, femme fatale, spider, the muses: inspiration, ra: power, taurus: trust, patience & sensuality
immediately all his cards tell me he wants someone with a very strong appearance, they could be conventionally attractive but they definitely have a certain feature that makes them stand out. the wheel of fortune is represented by the 4 fixed signs so taeyong might want someone with a distinctive/memorable voice (taurus rules throat, neck, vocal chords) or unique/eccentric hair (leos are known for having big hair like a lion) or a very intense/smoldering gaze (scorpios have that trademark deep gaze) or someone with an eccentric fashion sense (aquariuses are known to be very innovative) so just someone with one feature that captivates people. the strength is represented by leo so he might want someone who also is very leo-like and exhibits those qualities, it’s possible his ideal type’s personality is someone with a sense of duality to them as they either seem very intimidating at first but are super soft or vice versa, since taeyong’s moon is in leo i do feel he wants someone who is able to command a room without having to do much. the 10 of wands and 10 of swords both being in reverse basically reiterates my points, but i do feel he wants someone with duality, sharp features and a unique face, i do gravitate more towards someone who’s very intimidating looking and people wouldn’t really wanna mess with them, i think his person uses a lot of monochrome colours but they also occasionally use statement colours like red. his person could also have a very strong physique as the strength card and both of the 10s talk about someone of that nature.
the healer card tells me that those who look past their initial bias of his person finds their presence very healing, i definitely get the feeling that his person’s a very kind individual inside but a lot of people have preconceived notions due to their external appearance. with the femme fatale this person’s very sensual and knows they are, they could purposely use this trait if they want to but i do feel that a lot of the attention they get isn’t on purpose as they just naturally have a very magnetic aura. with the spider card for appearance i feel his ideal type’s appearance is someone who’s very eccentric, basically reiterates my point about some people being intimidated by them but i do get the feeling his person is someone who’s quite graceful. the muses tell me that taeyong might want someone with multiple different aesthetics, they’re a bit like a chameleon and don’t follow one type of trend since they make their own by drawing inspiration from multiple sources. with the ra card, this person is someone who’s aura is very strong and people have an immediate reaction towards them wether it’d be positive or negative, since ra is the god of the sun, order, kings and the sky i do believe taeyong wants someone with a commanding presence and is attracted to someone who others seem is “unattainable”. the taurus card reiterates my points from the femme fatale card earlier, i do think his ideal type is someone with a high level of sensuality since taurus’ ruler is venus, since taurus’ sister sign is scorpio he definitely would want someone who’s quite private and a bit of an enigma.
that is all! if you have any feedback, comments, queries or requests please don’t hesitate to reach out to me my ask box is always open. sending you all love, light, positivity and abundance <3 much love

So I’ve been kinda dancing around my original story idea for a little while, and I got this idea in my head of ‘what if I release chapter 1 and then get feedback without telling anyone what the story is about first so it’s more of a surprise?’ But honestly? I’m realizing since I already released a preview-of-a-preview for chapter 1, and it might be a little while until I finish chapter 1, plus I honestly kinda feel like I’d rather work on sketches of my character designs than write at the moment, I might as well go ahead and tell you guys. X’3
So! I watched a couple anime recently both centered around the premise of... monster girls! These being Monster Musume and Monster Girl Doctor, but then I noticed there’s also Interviews with Monster Girls, A Centaur’s Life, and the infamous Interspecies Reviewers, and I asked myself... Monster girls are pretty popular right now, yeah? But where’s all the monster boys?! And that’s how I got the idea! I re-watched some of my favorite anime based on Otome Games, Kamigami no Asobi and Uta no Prince Sama for inspiration as well, and a few ones I hadn’t seen before like Dance with Devils and Magic-kyun Renaissance for inspiration as well.
So now I’ve got my premise that I shared earlier: This is the story of Millie, a young woman down on her luck who happens to live in a world where monsters aren’t just real, but commonplace. She started working as a maid in a mansion-turned-art-school whose students are a group of very attractive monster boys. The twist is that these aren’t just any monster boys; they belong to various rare and exotic species with deadly reputations...
Note that character and place names are technically place-holders for now and may change if I come up with better ones. Now, I don’t wanna spoil anything story-wise, but I think I can introduce my setting and some of the characters that you’re gonna meet. The story is set in a modern setting, though it’s vague if it’s actually Earth or just some generic world similar to it, as I try to avoid referencing real-world places or events. This is a world where humans and monsters live together after a Great Interspecies War happened in the past, but tensions have mostly relaxed by the time the story takes place. The war could be thought of as the equivalent of our own World War One, one in which there was a truce decided after many years of stalemate fighting.
The city everything takes place in is tentatively named Dullahan, and was built directly after the war to commemorate peace between human and monster kind. It’s considered an artistic cultural center, and it’s got a lot of interesting entertainment places to go to, arcades, theaters, aquariums, etc, that the characters can have a lot of different shenanigans in. The other main setting is the Beaufort Academy of the Arts, which was actually a mansion that was converted into a small private school. This is where all the characters live, and our main character Millie works as a maid there.
Before I go into the characters, I should start with the various monster species. There are 12 species, divided into 2 groups: common monsters and exotic monsters. The common monsters are centaurs, harpies, lamias (snake people), kobolds (dog people), ogres, and merrows (mermaids). These species are all pretty standard, and will be mostly background characters and npcs. The main characters, and love interests for Millie, will be of the exotic variety: arachnes (spider people), sirens (deep-sea mermaids), mandrakes (plant people), dragons, manticores (with a liontaur body-type), and scyllas (octopus people).
So what differentiates a common monster from an exotic one? Well, while the Interspecies War was between humans and monsters in general, some monsters were already at least partially integrated into human society, and the rest followed soon after the war ended. These monsters were almost as common as humans, and either herbivorous or omnivorous, with the exception of the carnivorous lamias who prefer to eat eggs over anything else. On the other hand, the so-called ‘exotic’ species were not only much more rare, but they had a very different food preference... one which earned them the now derogatory nickname... man-eaters.
Naturally, most ‘man-eaters’ weren’t exactly welcomed into human --nor common monster-- society with open arms, not that most of them wanted to. For the most part, species as powerful and dangerous as them didn’t want to play nice with those they had once --and in some cases still do-- regard as prey, and so hid away into the furthest reaches of the world. Which of course makes them perfect material for all our leading men and Millie’s various love-interests!! Oh yes, while all of these monster boys are perfectly civilized --well, for the most part-- they still belong to species that many both human and monster alike continue to fear to this day. While they aren’t exactly fish out of water (well, except for the siren) there’s still plenty of awkward misunderstandings and interesting scenarios that can be played out.
So! Let’s have a quick run-down of the characters, keep in mind that none of these names are final and could change later on. First there’s Millie, a hardworking young woman who’s had a recent streak of bad luck. Through a misunderstanding she gets hired as a maid in a mansion-turned-art-school. She’s very sweet and tries her best to help others, but she’s not as innocent as she appears; she’ll understand your innuendos just fine, even if she doesn’t really say any herself! Next is Richard and Lara Beaufort, a husband and wife who run the school. Richard is rather laid-back, yet he’s also a master of all kinds of art, painting, sculpture, photography, dancing, singing, you name it! Lara is his arachne wife, a rather boisterous woman who owns a high-class fashion company. The secret to her clothing’s success?? Arachne silk, of course! The school was her idea, a way to help better integrate exotic species into society. Will her mission succeed? Only time can tell.
Richard and Lara have a son named Simon, our first love interest and a human-arachne hybrid who takes almost entirely after his mother in the looks-department (hybrids tend to look like one species or the other, rather than a mix of both). He’s a bit withdrawn due to dealing with bullying as a kid; most people --human and monster alike-- are afraid of his spider-like appearance, so he doesn’t get out much-- to the point his parents worry about him being a shut-in for life! He’s also a gamer boy, and has a secret soft side for gothic poetry, although he doesn’t want to join his parents’ art classes. He actually disapproves of his mother’s exotic species integration plan, as from what he’s experienced he feels it’s a waste of time.
Simon’s best friend and Millie’s second love interest is Louis, a mandrake who lives in the woods behind the manor. Louis is extremely shy and more than a bit lonely, even more so than Simon, and he doesn’t speak very often out of fear that the sound of his voice will hurt others around him. Mandrake screams can induce insanity or even kill those that hear them, hence his fear. Being part plant, Louis has mild shape-shifting abilities and is able to transform between child and young adult forms at will, although he’s actually the oldest of the group. He also isn’t a student at the art school, although he has an interest in floristry.
Now for our actual students! Forrest is a manticore, which in this world means he has a body similar to that of a centaur, but with the lower half of a lion instead of a horse, and a scorpion-like tail tipped with a deadly venomous stinger. Despite his species’s name literally meaning ‘man-eater’, Forrest is extremely friendly and cheerful, and is very sporty too. His passion is photography, and he also loves eating food-- any sort of meat dish is fine by him! He’s also a fan of fantasy tabletop roleplaying games, and will often make references comparing them to everyday life; he always plays the knight who saves the princess!
Anthony is a childhood ‘friend’ of Forrest’s, though he’s loathe to admit it. Highly intelligent and highly snobbish, Anthony fancies himself an intellectual-- and he’s not exactly wrong. Being a dragon, he likes to hoard things-- in his case, knowledge. Anthony loves to read, and is most often found in the library. His skill is in drawing and painting, and all his paintings’ invariably morose subject matter worry Millie. Still, this haughty dragon could definitely learn to loosen up a little, and be a little more kind; perhaps his stay at the academy --and his interactions with Millie-- will open his mind to appreciating the feelings of others. He does, at the very least, greatly respect Master Beaufort as a master of the arts.
The other two students are denizens of the sea, and have been friends for a very long time. Emil is a scylla, and like all scyllas he’s a little eccentric, and just can’t seem to keep his tentacles to himself! While Forrest is obsessed with eating, Emil’s true calling is cooking, and he loves making all kinds of dishes, especially anything seafood and/or foreign. Emil also is highly appreciative of women’s fashion, and absolutely adores everything to come from Madam Beaufort’s clothing brand-- so much so that he actually wears them himself! His pretty-boy looks and penchant for wearing women’s clothing actually has Millie mistake him for a girl at first, though he’s very much unafraid to show her his romantic side, or at least what he interprets as romantic...
Keeping Emil’s pervy antics in check is our sixth and final monster boy, Oswald! As a siren, Oswald spent most of his life in the sea, and still has a lot to learn about humanity. He’s a pretty cool guy but gets a bit embarrassed about his species’s troublesome past as the cause of many shipwrecks at sea, and would prefer to not discuss it. His passion is rock music, and his main instrument is the guitar. He also loves to sing, but refrains from doing so due to the hypnotic effect it has on other species. His lack of legs, tentacles, or a snake-like tail means that like other merrows and sirens he requires a wheelchair to move around on land, and often feels frustrated that he can’t show off how adept he is at traversing water. He’s also easy to embarrass and obsessed with not allowing anything to ‘ruin’ his manly image, including allowing Millie (a girl!) to help carry him around.
So there you have it, all my monster boys! I left out a few things, as those would be major spoilers, but those are my ideas for the characters for now! I’ll try to draw and post some sketches of their designs later. Hopefully I haven’t forgotten anything, but this won’t be the last time I talk about monster boys. Any questions or comments would be very much appreciated! Nsfw questions are allowed (all the boys wear pants for a reason, after all), though I’m currently not sure if this series will be 16+ or 18+, if you catch my meaning. Lemme know how interested you are in this story, or if you’re not interested please let me know that too!

Ask Game: Top 3 Stubborn Characters Who Just Won’t Cooperate
@needcake, thanks for the tag! (And your very nice character writing compliment <3 ;u;)
Whether you’re an artist or a writer, what are your top 3 characters that you want to draw/write about, but sometimes they just don’t wanna work with you? Is there a particular reason why?
Hnnnnnnnn gosh, many many many. Read more for top three sadness below.
1) Russia
I think Russia is such a complex character and I have no idea of how to even begin with him. I think all of the Hetalia characters are complex, especially when written in nationverse where they have the weight of history behind them, but Russia is something else for me.
Maybe it's because I haven't read enough fics about him to truly get a feel for him in my mind, maybe it's because I'm over thinking him, or maybe it's because the fandom's most prevalent version of him (especially the early days of 2009-2013) was very black and white. He was often portrayed as sadistic for no reason and overly simplified that I couldn't relate to him at all.
He's someone I'd need to properly sit down and think about, so if anyone has any fic recs that show good characterisation for him, please share with me!
At the moment, I see him to be a very conflicted person- someone who knows what he wants and how to get it, but maybe not the best way to get it (best also being a very broad term- the quickest? The nicest? The most moral? All can be ‘best’). There are shades of him that clash and he’s hard to predict for that exact reason. There’s a pattern to his behaviour but it’s a messy, hidden thing that even he isn’t wholly aware of. I don’t see him as good or bad (who ever can be only one?) but I see him as a very driven person who can sometimes slide away from himself, a little.
Portugal
I haven't tried yet! I've only recently come into awareness about how much I like this bean and I haven't yet got around to writing him. Same as Russia, my idea of him is fuzzy, but unlike Russia he feels more 'untried' rather that 'where do I even start'
Luckily for Porty-boi, I know a l o t of good fic writers that do him amazing justice so there's a lot of material for me to dive into and consume to help mould how I see him. I just need to get cracking!
At the moment, my thinking of him is a very patient, warm, peach of a person. He’s open and expressive to the right people, confident and sure of himself, but also quiet and watchful a lot of the time. Easy-going with purpose. There’s not as much ‘stupid intelligent person’ energy with him as there is Spain, but he has his moments.
Italy
Her characterisation of Italy as someone intelligent, complex, and powerful really opened my eyes to this character. For Italy, I struggle to write him, or even try, due to a total lack of confidence in my ability to match up to Sunny's wonderful version.
Boy oh boy. See, I had no interest in Italy (again, I blame the early fandom's mass depiction of him as a whiny baby shouting 've', 'doitsu', or 'pasta' in a sickening anime-esque refrain) until I read Snakeskins by LSunnyC (here I pause to collect myself and my feelings because BOY is Snakeskins just a slap in the heart and a kick in the soul).

🌎 ascendant in leo, 5° / 1st decan ruled by the sun
you’re an extremely confident and bright person, or at least you have a very strong aura around you that makes you look like you are. you have exceptional charisma and presence, in fact this is usually a celebrity placement! you surely don’t go overlooked. you naturally always try your best to make people feel at ease, and you mostly succeed thanks to your warmth, which makes you even more attractive. you probably like being recognized, and you may want to be famous. in fact, you like being in the spotlight and loaded with compliments and appreciation, they incredibly boost your self-confidence. your charisma may sometimes be too noticeable, resulting a bit dramatic; you may gesticulate a lot, imitate voices… basically, you would do amazing at acting, for example. in fact, most celebrities have a leo rising, or leo placements of any sort. you’re very playful, you most likely look younger than you are for your personality. you may also be a savage, and you’re most likely good at jokes of any kind. you appear as a very bubbly and outgoing person, yet you may be quite secretive. you don’t open up easily, especially about family / private matters. especially with your water influence, you’re very picky when it comes to trusting people. in addition, you’re a perfectionist; you care a lot about everything that revolves around you, from physical appearance to your job, you want it all to be perfect. that can cause you a lot of stress, as you always want to seem at your best state, you despise being seen as weak or unprepared. physically, all leos have beautiful hair. you may have curly, perhaps red or dark hair, or at least it’s very thick. you may also get tanned easily, an olive skin tone or any kind of warm undertones to your skin. you may have full, plump lips, or at least they have a defined cupid’s bow. you may also have pretty long eyelashes and big, watery eyes.
leo ascendant square taurus mars: you easily come off as more assertive and arrogant than you actually are. this manifests both in your face and in your words. you could say things impulsively, and sometimes you're too blunt and hurt people's feelings. you don't do it on purpose, though, there's no malice behind your acts; it's just your natural way to express your opinions. on the other hand, you probably have a very strong charisma to you that makes you look very captivating and bold. people see you as a leader, and hence they could get intimidated by your presence. to cope with this placement, you can try controlling yourself and your words before speaking. I'm aware that it's a way to vent your anger, but you can find another way that doesn't hurt others.
🌞 sun in pisces, 28° / 2nd decan ruled by neptune and pluto
this is the most intuitive pisces decan. you understand people’s thoughts just by looking at them, it’s like you’re staring at their souls. in fact, you’re extremely empathetic, you probably find yourself being a psychologist for your friends. or maybe, you’re actually a psychologist. you’re easy-going and you have great social skills; I don’t see you being extremely extroverted, but you don’t mind hanging out with your friends. you’re amazingly creative and imaginative, you have the ability to picture your ideas. this is an amazing talent, in fact most artists have pisces placements. the downside to pisces is that I’ve noticed that, since they know they’re vulnerable, they have the tendency to lie. they don’t do it out of cruelty of course, it’s a sort way to protect their ego. you could want to be seen as bolder than you are, hence you could struggle with identity crisis, especially during your teenage years. you have your own morals and beliefs, but you could feel influenced by others to change yours. luckily, this is something that gets better with time, as you start being more aware of your persona and you start loving yourself. you're most probably a very complex individual; after all, pisces is the most 'confusing' of all the signs. you're a sort of chameleon; you act differently based on where you are and who you're with. you could be a savage with someone, an introvert with someone else. you may even feel as if there's something wrong with your mind, as you just wish you could be like others. you should focus more on pisces' positive traits, though; you're extremely compassionate and considerate. you're emotionally intelligent, and this mutability of yours could make you succeed at many different jobs in your life, as it's very easy for you to adapt to and master new things. if you work hard, you can surely succeed in anything you want.
pisces sun square cancer jupiter: this is a hard aspect, which could make you feel even more proud of yourself due to your fire dominance. you may feel like the universe is constantly against you, especially with your pessimistic pisces sun. you may feel unlucky, or even overindulge in things you like to cope with sadness or anger. you may have the tendency to overeat, buy useless things etc. you go from having a low self-esteem, to even looking very bossy without even realizing it. you struggle to keep your identity balanced, even though you might have not been aware of it at first. to achieve fortune and joy in life, you need to work hard for it. to do so, you have to learn your karmic lessons in this lifetime, which probably revolve around family issue and their impact on your interactions with others.
🌙 moon in taurus, 19° / 2nd decan ruled by venus and mercury
the moon is exalted in taurus, so it's definitely a good placement! you're very peaceful, you try to avoid conflicts when you can. this placement makes you crave stability, whether it's financial, in love etc. you must be very stubborn, as taurus is a fixed sign. this placement, paired with your imaginative leo energy, makes you settle on making your ideas concrete, and it's very beneficial. it makes you capable of achieving any goals in your life. you're also very artsy, and you may fancy particular art styles. you have a good eye for aesthetics, and you care a lot about the looks of your house, body, clothes etc. you have excellent concentration, and that is another thing that helps you achieve your goals and make your ideas concrete. last but not least, you're amazingly patient, and that makes you a great friend. probably, they vent a lot of their worries to you, as you're also a great listener.
taurus moon conjunct taurus mars: you aim for greatness. this is where your strong desire to be the #1 comes from, pretty much. you're very proud of yourself, and you don't like to acknowledge your mistakes. you always want to look like you have your life together, even in certain moments when you feel lost. I would say that this is a sort of self-sabotaging mechanism, as you can literally go as far as forcing a smile if it shows the world that you can stand by yourself. overall, I would say you deal with your emotions in a very 'child-like' way; after all, mars is pretty self-centered. you tend to preserve yourself more, unless someone really special to you is involved. you're also very honest, you speak from your heart. while it's a positive trait, you may be too blunt and ruin your relationships because of that. you're both smart and fast, hence you may get annoyed when people mishear or misunderstand your words.
🗣 mercury in pisces, 10° / 2nd decan ruled by neptune and the moon
you have the potential to be very focused on something thanks to your taurus energy, but your heavy neptune influence may interfer in that. in fact, you probably lose yourself in your own thoughts very often, starting daydreaming instead of doing what you have to do. you’re very creative and artistic, and you’re also able to fully convey your emotions in your words, even though it may be perceived as confusing sometimes. that’s because not everyone is as empathetic as you are. on the other hand, you may have the tendency to lie, or just being confusing in any way. you may not always express what you want crystal clear, as you want to able to modify the story just in case you encounter some hardships. also, you never truly express your feelings, probably out of fear. probably, the way you elaborate your thoughts is also influenced by your family and the impact they had on you. you’re always vague, and you keep your private matters for yourself. pisces is a mutable sign, so you may also find yourself changing ideas often, your mind wanders from one thought to another. you are very intuitive, and you may even have some sort of psychic talent. you could do well at reading tarots, birth charts etc. your voice is probably naturally loud, it's hard not to listen to you. also, since your mercury is squaring pluto, you could be quite impulsive sometimes and say things you actually don't mean. you could argue often with others due to this trait of yours, you get defensive very easily. on the other hand, you most likely have a nice sense of humor at least.
pisces mercury square gemini saturn: this placement gives you limitations and lessons regarding the way you think and talk. it may be that you’re too shy to approach others and to say what you think, so you just don’t try. otherwise, if you actually take action and try to overcome this problem, you could get into trouble. that’s probably caused by the fact that you don’t really pay attention to your words. you’re quite straight-forward, and due to your fire energy you always seem as if you’re up for a fight. you may be particularly pessimistic, or maybe you lack confidence in social interactions due to these problems, which could be possibly caused by your parents, or perhaps interfer in your relationship with your family. in fact, you may argue quite often with others, and misunderstandings are also common. this is something that gets naturally better with time, but in order for it to happen you need to take action. you may for example start speaking with others more at work, anything that allows you to challenge your mind and voice, in order to make you gain experiences and become a master at it. many celebrities, once they mastered this hard aspect, got loads of success. you can do that too, you just need to work on it.
pisces mercury square sagittarius pluto: you may become a bit manipulative. you probably don’t even realize it, though, as you have the ability to make people do what you want them to do. you probably love being right, especially during arguments, and you always manage to be so thanks to your skills. your words are like knives for others, they can truly cut deep through their ego. you’re direct and blunt, as you just say what you have in mind with no filters. you can develop a provocative attitude without even realizing it, which can obviously cause you conflicts. you need to be more careful about how you communicate your ideas, otherwise you could seriously damage other people’s self-esteem. on the other hand, if you acknowledge your flaws and work on them, this can actually turn into diplomacy. take advantage of your interest in your inner self to find out how to be a bit more gentle in choosing your words.
❤️ venus in aries, 13° / 2nd decan ruled by mars and jupiter
with venus in aries, loving you is an adventure. you enjoy fun, exciting relationships. you're the type who's looking for a risktaker, even dangerous partner. you hate boredom, and this may be your weakness regarding this placement; that is, once the relationship starts getting more serious, you feel as if it's going down, when it's actually the opposite. hence, you just run towards a new adventure. this placement may even give you the reputation of being a player, but I don't think it's your case based on your others placements. you have to understand that relationships can get boring, but that's not necessarily a red flag. it just means you two are starting to feel comfortable together. you also enjoy physical contact, therefore cold partners are a no no for you. you need someone who's affectionate yet bold, and that would spoil you with attention and gifts. you enjoy the little things about love, such as remembering your anniversary or even giving you small presents, especially if they're homemade (like breakfast, poems etc.). you also try to avoid flaky people, as you don't like making relationships seem too light.
aries venus square cancer jupiter: you come off as a very positive, happy-go-lucky person. you're extremely friendly, and this makes you be good at social relationships. you may have lots of friends, or at least you have the potential to make many if you opened up and talked to them. yet, while this energy gives you positive vibes, some people may take advantage of that, as you could easily be mistaken for naive. people can try to dominate you unconsciously (sometimes even on purpose) not only in relationships but even in friendships. aside from that, I don't think this placement causes you many problems. you may have the tendency to procrastinate and not work. you could be quite lazy and get easily distracted, as you're constantly with your head in the cloud. yet, thanks to your taurus energy, you still manage to find some motivation to do your work.
💥 mars in taurus, 12° / 2nd decan ruled by venus and mercury
with taurus mars, you may actually despise working too much. you love challenging your mind, but you're kind of lazy. you'd rather stimulate yourself through your hobbies and interests rather than using school / work, which are quite stressful for you. you need to find something material and concrete to motivate you and make you assertive. you could study just because you need a good grade, or maybe work just to get paid. you don't really do it with interest, as you care more about nurturing your passions than responsibilities. you're not really into conflicts; you'd rather be peaceful with everyone, as you find it a waste time to argue with someone. most taurus mars tend to be quite passive, yet I don't think it's your case. I imagine that with your heavy aries and leo energy, you've got a hot temper. you may try to avoid conflicts, but once someone gets on your nerves it's over for them. you're very unpredictable from this point of view, it's hard to decipher you. you may be more verbally aggressive than physically, though.
🏡 houses
your 1st house is in leo. with this placement, you care a lot about your persona, both physically and also mentally too. yet, you may start feeling like you need to be perfect at all costs to be accepted, especially during your early years. for example, you may be the type to follow fashion trends to look cool, and you may subconsciously force yourself to like them. you need to understand that you should enhance your individuality, and ask yourself who you are. it’s not all about who you are outside, the inside matters even more. you’re free to stand out, but make sure that you do it in a comfortable way for you, or it will start becoming toxic as time goes by.
your 2nd house is in leo. your self-esteem depends on matters like money, possessions, as well as your influence on others. you may feel confident when you’re praised and spoiled with compliments and material things, you may enjoy being in the spotlight as it increases your self-confidence, even though you’re quite shy so you don’t feel very at ease. you feel confident when you’re able to earn money and you’re financially stable, and hence you probably felt guilty as a child to ask your parents for money for example. you probably love luxury, you aspire to become very wealthy, live in the house of your dreams, etc. you could also dream of becoming famous. and actually, with this placement, you could make money from leo-related matters, and hence being in the spotlight, creativity (especially theatre / drama), comedy, etc.
your 3rd house is in virgo. you’re very precise and polite in the way you express your thoughts. you’re probably very careful to grammar, vocabulary etc… you love looking and being knowledgeable. you’re more of a logical type rather than an intuitive person, you hardly ever do something only out of curiosity. you’re very cautious about the decisions you make, and hence it could take you some time to finally choose something, but that’s because you just don’t want to regret anything. you think deeply about your choices, and most of the time they turn out to be right. you’re strongly opinionated, but you may be a bit too harsh when you express your ideas. sometimes you could even hurt someone, as you’re extremely honest. you don’t like sugar-coating your words. you’re also very intelligent and hard-working, and you can’t stand messy things. you’re probably very neat, you like having schedules and you may even keep an agenda / diary where you keep track of your appointments and other things you have to do.
your 4th house is in libra. your physical home was probably very pleasant and beautiful; you may have a conventionally beautiful family, or at least they’re particularly attractive and charming. your house may also be very well-designed and elegant, doesn’t matter how big it is. you probably see your parents as ideal, they are your role models and you look up to them. perhaps, it could be that you felt misunderstood, maybe your parents were a bit materialistic or lacked empathy, but overall you had a great childhood, you have a good relationship with your parents and siblings if you have them. it could also be that you dated lots of people when you were a teen, or at least you had lots of friends. you certainly have lovely memories of your early years, and your parents most likely have a good relationship too.
your 5th house is in scorpio, with also your pluto being here. your hobbies most likely include self-expression of any kind, anything that you consider private is told through your creativity. also, with scorpio in this house, you may as well be attracted to darker hobbies like astrology, tarots… possibly, you may be into thriller or even into horror. you may also like psychology, criminology… this type of things that are able to stimulate your mind in some way. you could possibly want to be a risk-taker, deep down. also, you want to become a master in what you like, and hence you tend to go extreme to become perfect. you may dedicate a lot of your spare time to your hobbies, for example, even if you have to work. your romantic relationships may be very intense, you could attract particularly jealous or even obsessive partners in your life. some of them may be painful, but they’ll be essential to become mature and grow up into a better, wiser person. in addition, I see you as the type of person who doesn’t like showing off their partner. you probably keep both your love interests and hobbies personal, you only talk a little about them to your close, trusted friends, especially with your pluto in this house that makes this energy even stronger.
your 6th house is in capricorn. usually, people with a capricorn 6th house are very responsible and work-oriented. they generally don’t leave much space to fun and amusement. you have a strong sense of duty, but thanks to your pisces influence you don’t overwork yourself. you’re able to find balance between work and hobbies, and that’s obviously great. yet, you may sometimes procrastinate in your day-to-day life. that can possibly cause you issues in your career; you may be indecisive about your future path for example, or you could even not be much precise in your work.
your 7th house is in aquarius, with also your neptune conjunct the descendant. you do like the idea of marriage and love, yet you need your space as well. you don’t want to feel committed in a relationship, it would be suffocating for you. that could make you appear as emotionally cold or detached, when you’re really not. you just care a lot about your personal growth, especially after your turbulent childhood. perhaps, you could even attract mentally unstable partners, they could be a bit moody for example. you may meet your future spouse in an unexpected situation, or perhaps you could meet them online through social media or a dating app. neptune is also here: you’re hopelessly romantic, to the point that you almost look naive. you’re not simply looking for a partner or spouse, you’re looking for a soulmate; someone you can literally communicate with just using your eyes, someone that knows how to make you feel even messier on the inside. you like to nurture and feel nurtured in a relationship. your ideal lover would be sensitive and empathetic, yet still with a sort of rebel vibe to them. this placement is indeed very lovely, but it has its downsides too, of course. the problem is, neptune makes you idealize your crushes/partners way too much, to the point that you create an image of someone in your head that turns out to be the opposite at the end. you ignore your partner’s flaws, as they seem perfect to you. neptune also attracts 'broken’ persons, so you may be prone to find yourself people with any kind of illness or addiction. you also have the tendency to fall for people who may hurt you because they’re unavailable, either physically or emotionally. you could possibly also crush on celebrities, movie characters etc. that’s because you’re more the type to fall in love with love, rather than with the actual person.
your 8th house is in aquarius, with also your mercury and uranus placed there. you could possibly have an unexpected yet barely painful death, or perhaps someone in your life has died / will die all of a sudden, you may often experience scenarios of this kind. possibly, you could even die due to electricity, and or at least it will be a very fast death, I don’t see it being violent or turbulent at all. or maybe, you’re surrounded by unpredictable events of loss of any kind in your life. that is, it could also happen with your money. it’s important not to risk too much with this placement, especially with gambling, or you may end up getting in serious problems. you’re fascinated by the occult, and you may even be/been able to talk to dead people. you’re very intuitive, and it’s easy for you to read through people’s words. you may as well have prophetic dreams. you're extremely blunt and straight-forward, you may actually hurt people with your words. you probably lack diplomacy, and you're very realistic. the thing is, you speak the truth, but not everyone can accept it. you speak fluent sarcasm, and that could annoy people who don't understand your sense of humor. you're probably good at lying, and even manipulating people. you may often make others change their mind just with your own words, but be careful not to use this skill to hurt others, or you'll only experience a sense of guilt and overall the bad sides of it. on the other hand, you're an extremely captivating speaker, you'd be successful at anything that involves the use of words and voice. you're truly intuitive, and it's easy for you to understand when someone is being honest or is lying to you. last but not least, you're very secretive as well. you're probably the type to know everything and anything about others, while you remain a mystery.
your 9th house is in pisces, with also your venus and the sun sitting there. this is definitely a nice placement! the result is that you’re probably extremely open-minded and imaginative. you hardly ever have have prejudices, you don’t judge a book by its cover. you’re extremely opinionated, and combined with your virgo 3rd house you’re constantly looking for the truth. you hate it when people say something wrong for example, you can’t help but correct them. you could also be religious and believe in a god. philosophy, literature and poetry are also a part of your many interests. in addition, you’re most likely also into foreign languages and cultures. you could travel a lot, or perhaps with your pisces in the house cusp you like travelling with your mind. you probably literally create stories in your head, you’re extremely imaginative. a good advice would be not to waste this talent of yours; you could actually make your fantasies concrete and express them through creative outlets: books, drawings, songs, choreographies… basically, it would be a waste to only keep them for you. you may also learn about more creative topics rather than school subjects. you may be the type that likes making new experiences regarding love, and you often date your crushes. yet, you feel too limited in a relationship. you don't enjoy committing to someone if that someone isn't perfect for you, you're only completely loyal to the one you consider your true love. you can't give up your freedom, your thirst for adventure and experiences for someone else. basically, your ideal partner would be a risk-taker, someone loyal but not too clingy, that is down to go on a road trip in every moment. someone impulsive, that could help you stepping out of your comfort-zone. you may also find yourself being attracted to unavailable people; that is, you could fall for people that are already taken, or maybe they're physically unavailable, e.g they live abroad or in another city in general.
your 10th house is in aries, with also your moon and mars conjunction placed here. with your 10th house cusp in the energetic sign of aries, you need a career that allows you to be independent, you probably prefer working alone than in groups. or perhaps, you actually aspire to become a boss, a ceo, someone people look up to, and if you work hard you may actually become an influential person in your work place / field. you aspire to be successful and you want to be wealthy thanks to yourself only, and you may actually develop some good luck in your career life. your future job may also require something related to physical action, and hence you may have to move a lot for your job, perhaps you may pursue acting to include something creative that also requires you to move. the sun here also makes you gain a reputation for being responsible and mature, you have a strong charisma and you probably seem very put-together to others. the moon here also points out that you'll feel emotionally connected to your job, you're a very hard-working person and you'll invest most of your efforts in your career.
your 11th house is in taurus, saturn is also placed in this house. you could possibly attract people with taurus traits, and hence your friends could be quite stubborn and possessive, but also very loyal and responsible. they could possibly be wealthy, and they could have some artistic, creative interest and / or talent just like you. you may have some trust issues, you’re careful about who you trust, and hence you’re quite cautious about who you befriend. your long-term goals include financial stability, you may be quite materialistic as you enjoy wealth. yet, I assume that thanks to your water placements you’re not as work-focused as other earth placements, you actually also value emotions and feelings too. I feel like you probably have very big goals and dreams that you want to come true. yet, it may take you a while to achieve them. with your heavy saturn and 10th house placements in your chart, you're probably have to work harder than others to get what you want, but you can be sure that once you put in the effort, the universe is going to repay you double.
your 12th house is in cancer, with also jupiter placed here. you’re an extremely spiritual and intuitive person. you may be attracted to dreams, religion, astrology, spirituality… anything that can wake you up, spiritually speaking. you may also be particularly talented at reading birth charts, tarots, even talking to spirits. you may have prophetic dreams, or you could even have deja-vus. the 12th house is also the house of fears, so having cancer here indicates that you may be afraid of your childhood, emotions, past memories. perhaps, even of your home environment or directly of your parents. it’s a part of your life that you’d rather keep secret. you may also have some escapism tendencies, such as oversleeping, overeating… or perhaps, you could easily develop addictions, so be careful to that, as you’re particularly sensitive to drugs, alcohol etc.
❤️ love life, soulmates
in love you attract capricorn, leo, virgo, scorpio and pisces placements and/or traits. your future spouse will most likely have leo and virgo traits or placements, maybe a leo-virgo cusp. they’ll be very similiar to you: secretive and hard-working, but also with a warm, loyal heart and a hidden insecurity to them. you may meet them at work, or perhaps even abroad. perhaps they could be foreign, or maybe you're going to meet them on vacation. your children will most likely have strong scorpio traits: they’ll be very smart and intense, but also very sensitive deep down. also, they’ll be extremely intelligent and more mature as time goes by. they’ll also have a tender side to them, but that is often overshadowed by their seriousness.
👶🏻 family life
your father is a very fiery, impulsive person, with a short-temper. he could have even been quite violent with you during your childhood, and he might have a bit of a childish behaviour, even though I don't really think it's your case thanks to your libra ic. deep down, he’s actually kind of insecure with his role as a father, but he may hate to admit it. he may have aries, cancer, libra or scorpio placements in his chart. your mother, on the other hand, is slightly more submissive. she’s mostly a peaceful and emotional person, even though she most probably has a passive-aggressive behaviour. she could be conventionally beautiful, or at least she likes taking care of herself. she may have libra or taurus placements in her chart, as well as pisces and capricorn. if you have siblings, they’re probably very peaceful and intelligent. they may also be very kind, as well as organized. their rooms probably look immaculate. they could have virgo or gemini placements in their charts.
📊 career
you’re a very ambitious person, and hence I don’t see you being the type to scrap projects. especially with your aries midheaven, you’re motivated to complete your works in order to show that you’re able to succeed, you want to be the best in what you do. I can also see you being a good therapist, psychologist, possibly even a doctor of any kind, even though I’d avoid practical and boring jobs if I were in you. your strong venus energy struggles to be cold-minded at times, and hence working in a stressful environment could be dangerous for you and for your mental health, as you may absorb others’ negativity and stress. actually, I feel like the most suited career for you would be something that allows you to be in charge, to be your own boss as you know what’s best for you. you may also do well with a creative career; you may become a writer, a dancer, a singer, a stylist, a model, an actress... anything that isn't too practical could be good to you, and if it allows you to express your creativity it's even better.
👚 fashion sense, style analysis
you probably love clothes that can show and enhance your body. you may love wearing crop tops, skirts, bralettes, shorts... anything that leaves a part of your body uncovered, yet that still looks elegant and classy. you could also enjoy baggy clothes, paired with fancy accessories and heels. for colors, you go from wearing bold colours like red, burgundy and neon, to darker shades like black, dark blue etc. you probably also love neutral shades, like kaki, beige and so on.
👁 past life, life purpose
in your past life time, you didn’t have a specific priority. you just enjoyed wandering with your mind and creativity, allowing yourself to relax with your friends. you used to depend on someone else, not really on yourself. this lifetime, you need to establish your independence AND solid boundaries, not just those you used to daydream about. don’t be afraid to let your inner child out; go to amusement parks, binge-watch netflix, date your crushes, have an hobby, play videogames… you could also play with actual children. anything that brings fun out of you, and that puts a genuine smile on your face. yet, don’t forget that this lifetime of yours revolves around accomplishing your goals.
🤔 major transits analysis / september 4
transit leo moon is currently in your 1st house conjunct your ascendant. you could be feeling particularly needy of affection in these days. you want to be around your loved ones but you're also particularly sensitive, therefore you could get angry easily and overall you're more impulsive, so beware of possible conflicts with others.
🧿 manifest what you want, secret skills
the best way for you to manifest is idealizing and acting at the same time. you have both energies combined in your chart, which is great actually! I’d suggest you to first picture what you want in your life, and then do something concrete to manifest it. for example, let’s suppose you want this gucci bag; first, think about it deeply. then, you could try going into a gucci shop and just walk around, maybe even touch that bag. you’ll get results if you believe it! it’s also great to write and read/listen your own positive affirmations, such as 'I love my gucci bag’, 'the gucci bag my mom gave me is amazing’ and so on.
this is the end! thank you again for booking a reading, hope it resonated with you :)

Text
He made a couple of false starts, but after four long years, Louis Tomlinson’s debut album Walls is finally here! The much-anticipated album immediately shot to #1 on the iTunes charts in over 50 countries. And while it signals the true end of an era (Tomlinson’s the last member of One Direction to release a solo project), it’s mostly the beginning of a new one. As reflected in the visuals for the title track; where one door closes, another opens. And it’s one that was well worth the wait, as Walls promises an exciting new era of guitar-driven confessional pop.
Guitar-driven, because it’s clear that Tomlinson was sonically inspired by the 90s and 00s indie-rock that he grew up on. Confessional, because each song presents us with yet another look into the emotional complexity of Tomlinson’s experiences with heartbreak, pain, and letting go.
A clear example of the former is the opening track “Kill My Mind.” It is a rousing up-tempo song with a soaring anthemic chorus that’s just begging to be performed live. Tomlinson referred to the track as a true “statement of intent,” although it’s defiantly rockier than the rest of his album. Perhaps it’s already setting the stage for album number two.
There is “Habit,” of which the melody is weirdly reminiscent of 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” Lyrically along the same vein as “Kill My Mind,” it regales an addictive and slightly toxic relationship. Whether that’s aimed at an actual relationship, or meant as a metaphor for the music industry at large – who’s to say?
“We Made It” is another track that pulls Britpop right back into the ’20s. Significantly more laid back, the song’s mid-tempo production has somewhat of a Post Malone vibe to it. The song may not be the stand-out single of the album, it does encapsulate Tomlinson’s road to this moment. He’s made it, regardless of the adversity he’s faced along the way. Both as an underrated former member of One Direction – despite earning himself the most writing credits – and due to the personal tragedies, he faced over the past few years.
He doesn’t shy away from addressing any of these obstacles in his career. Title track “Walls” seems to be all about overcoming adversity – be it personal or professional setbacks. The string section adds a sophisticated touch to the rich instrumentals of the song, really honing in on that indie-rock sound Tomlinson is so fond of.
The heart-wrenching ballad “Two Of Us” stays true to the confessional style of the album. Tomlinson wrote the song about his mother, who passed away in 2016. It’s perhaps the most personal and vulnerable that Tomlinson has allowed himself to be on this record, and it shows in the lyrics: “The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead.” However, Tomlinson manages to yet again transform the acknowledgment of pain into an inspiring promise of honoring life. It’s extremely rare that a songwriter is able to capture both darkness and light within the same song. To do so in such a convincing way, about a topic that’s so deeply personal yet universal shows the strength of Tomlinson’s lyricism and his emotive delivery.
Interestingly enough, despite Tomlinson’s love for rock, he seems to prefer the mid-tempo tracks. “Don’t Let It Break Your Heart” includes a beautiful opening guitar solo, before adding a bit of kick drum to build a proper anthemic pop song. It’s rich in sound, and its message is uplifting and reassuring. Similar to his first solo track “Just Hold On,” its lyrics aim to inspire listeners to keep going in spite of the heartbreak. What’s refreshing, is that it doesn’t specify the cause of the heartbreak, nor does it marginalize the emotional impact. Rather, the lyrics remind you that you’re not broken beyond repair, no matter what it is that’s hurting you in the moment.
“Always You” is the only true pop, up-tempo track on Walls. Listen to it once, and the playful guitar and staccato beat make for an irresistible hook that’ll draw you right in. It’s almost odd how a song this perfect for pop radio is hidden away more than halfway through the tracklist. The lyrics are innovative, as Tomlinson travels all across the world, only to conclude he’s never getting over his ex.
Elsewhere on the album, Tomlinson addresses the loss of innocence and youth. Being in your twenties is somewhat of a confusing time, as you come to realize that being a grown-up is not all it’s made out to be. “Fearless” opens with the sound of children, then sees Tomlinson lament the innate recklessness you lose as you get older. It’s perhaps one of the only tracks that verge on disillusionment and wistful longing for those days you felt young and invincible.
“Too Young” is the other side to the same coin, highlighting the negative consequences of youthful naivete instead. This time, he connects heartbreak to regret. Accompanied by nothing but an acoustic guitar, Tomlinson reflects on a past relationship. It requires real emotional maturity and bravery to see your own flaws and mistakes and to take ownership of them. Even if it means saying “I’m sorry, I was too young to get it back then, but I get it now.” The only downside is that Tomlinson seemingly randomly adopts an American accent in the pre-chorus, which feels slightly out of place.
Tomlinson said of the record that it’s about him; “it’s me, I’m the storyline.” That definitely seems to be the case, what with each of his songs highlighting various aspects of the life he’s lived so far and the difficulties he’s had to go through. Nevertheless, there are definitely moments throughout the album that feel somewhat reminiscent of the old One Direction sound – and this is where it gets tricky. Of course, One Direction was also a part of his life, and Tomlinson was an integral part of developing the musical DNA of his former band. As such, it’s perhaps inevitable that there would be some sonic overlap between the past and his present.
On the other hand, this record is his chance to establish his own musical identity. “Perfect Now” seems to be the epitome of this split personality. It’s a mostly acoustic track, with some strings added into the mix as the song builds into its final chorus. The lyrics echo both “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Little Things,” two of One Direction’s biggest (and oldest) hits. It’s an admittedly incredibly catchy song that centers around the heartbreak of seeing someone you love unhappy. Still, it’s a shame he felt the need to cater to a sound that’s not solely his. If he truly wants to take his music in a more indie-rock lane, he should fully commit to it – surely fans (old and new) would follow.
Thankfully, the album is filled with songs that truly highlight Tomlinson’s abilities as a singer/songwriter. Two songs that stand out from the others when it comes to vocal range, delivery, and lyrical ingenuity, are “Defenceless” and “Only The Brave.”
“Defenceless” is the true embodiment of what it means to find strength in vulnerability. The song builds steadily, starting out with just a guitar before heavy drums kick in during the chorus. The lyrics, on the other hand, portray the insecurity you feel when you’re letting all your guards down. The bridge in particular highlights the fragile heartbreak that follows when trying your best isn’t enough anymore: “I hope I’m not asking too much, just wanna be loved by you. I’m too tired to be tough, just wanna be loved by you.” Tomlinson’s falsetto only serves to further emphasize the sense of defeat and raw emotion on display in this track.
The album closer “Only The Brave” sees him bring back the falsetto that’s absent from the album elsewhere. Contrary to the more confessional and conversational tone of the previous songs, this short track relies on metaphors throughout: “It’s a church of burnt romances, and I’m too far gone to pray, it’s a solo song, and it’s only for the brave.” As such, it’s a bold choice to end the album on such a different note. However, it works beautifully – an ode to what’s to come, perhaps.
Walls provides an exciting and much deserved first glance at who Louis Tomlinson truly is – both as an artist and as a human being. Listen from start to finish, and you’ll immediately enjoy the guitar-driven, intricate alt-pop that’s characteristic of this record. But if given the chance, it’ll be the emotive, authentic lyricism that truly reels you in for good.
It’s rare to see artists actually offer a multi-faceted, introspective look at their inner emotions. To have a male singer share his heart with such conviction – openly, brazenly, almost recklessly – is even more exceptional. On the other hand, perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise at all. Because if this album tells you anything about Tomlinson’s personality, it’s that he’s fearless, resilient, and he always gets back up. He doesn’t hide his scars – he wears them with pride, inspiring you to make peace with your own and do the same.
Let Walls break down your walls, I promise you won’t regret it.

for the artist asks!! the questions i wanna ask u are 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 12, 15, 25, and 30 👌 ive never done any of these artist ask things before so im not sure if thats way too many questions so u can skip some if u like
Even more questions!  -wWw-
(As I’ve already answered 1, 2, 7, 15, and 25 with the previous ask, I will skip over those, but let me know if you want an answer expanded upon!)
So, it looks like I’m starting with:
9. How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
I feel like I should say that, due to the pandemic, I feel like I didn’t pick up this hobby on a time of average days, so that may skew the data a bit.  On some days I don’t draw at all, for various reasons, or I only get a small doodle done.  Some days I draw for a few hours.  And some days I spend more time, sometimes even the majority of the day, working on art, usually when I’m afflicted with hyperfocus for a project.
So, an average day is probably more than one hour but less than five.  Maybe.  I can’t say I’m sure.
10. Are you confident about your art?
It depends, I think.
Perhaps I should say I’m confident with where I’m at with my art, in many ways.  I’m still learning and growing as an artist, and there are many ways in which I hope to improve my abilities.  Some of my art has many mistakes, and certain pieces are uncomfortable to look at with how glaring the mistakes feel-- even some of these pieces are on my blog.  I try to avoid showing a strong lack of confidence when I don’t feel great about something, because really:
The art I do is a hobby.  I don’t have to be perfect at it, all I have to do is find that it brings something worthwhile to my life.
And so for me, drawing isn’t about being perfect.  If I was trying to convey a concept, did I convey the concept?  If I was trying to capture a certain feeling, do I feel it when I look upon the piece?  If I thought of something silly, does my art of it still make me want to laugh?  Sometimes art is about emotional processing or healing or fear.  Sometimes art is wanting to share something with someone else, hoping to brighten their day.  It’s a form of expression, and it can express all kinds of things.
(If my art is a love letter to something that matters to me in life, do I feel glad of the time I spent on it?)
When I ask questions like this, I would say that I have confidence even if I have much to learn in the way of skill.  And I do think some of my skill is pretty decent, too!  I can have a lot to learn and still feel good with what I do now.
Even if a piece is not my “best,” I will still often put it up so as to not corner myself into raising my own bar on what’s “good enough” to an impossible high.  To live like that is miserable for me.
(I grew up in a place where my worth was dependent on my abilities.  To draw and create without my art needing to be “good enough”-- needing to try for perfection on every piece when perfection itself is an abstract concept-- is a way in which I make myself freer.  And so my philosophy on art has perhaps become a strange one, but it gives me the strength to draw as I do.)
(Sorry if my answer is odd and overly heavy!  I was trying to answer the question honestly, and this was the best way I could think to do it.)
12. Is it okay for people to ask you about your process?
Super okay!  If you’re curious about something, please feel free to ask!
-wWw-
(I already answered 15, but on some days when I do many little drawings, the time between posting can give an idea of how long they take!  I often post things soon after I draw them.  Not always, and some time is spent with taking the picture and formatting the post, but I did realize that sometimes when I draw many smaller things, I do them in a row!)
30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
Many things, to be honest!  There are things I would like to convey better in my art, so that’s a big one.  Seeing other people’s art can be inspiring-- I can’t word it well at present, but the world is full of all this art and I find that to be wonderful.  Sometimes that makes me want to contribute too, partially out of appreciation.  I’d like to make things that other people can see and have feelings about.  I think that’d be pretty cool.  (It’s always super cool to hear when people like my art!  Makes me really happy.)
On the contributing-- I like to make fanart.  It’s fun to be part of an online community of people who all like a certain thing and celebrate that in various ways, and seeing all that inspires me to put in effort when I can!  Thanks to all of the kind people who have been part of my positive fandom experience!
As I said earlier, art is a form of expression, and so part of it is wanting to express myself better.
Below the cut I get dark and heavy.  This is your warning about that.
To be personal for a moment again: I’ve survived through some really terrible things in life.  One of the things that helped me the most to get through that and to make it to the better place I’m in now, to keep me going on alright, is seeing reflections of pain similar to what I went through in fiction.  I don’t know anyone who lived through a situation like mine, and I’m happy about that, actually, because I don’t want people to suffer, but a fictional character can’t be hurt in the same way as a person can be, as they are a concept.  And it’s not easy to find characters with hurts very similar to my hurts actually dealing with them in a psychologically realistic or relatable way, but when I do find content with that, it matters so much to me.  It makes me feel like I’m not alone.
If I can, I want to make something of the sort that I find helpful, in the hopes that it might help someone else too.  And that is the deepest heart of it-- helping myself and others.
---
Thank you for sending in the questions, jellyfish!  I hope the heavy answers are okay.

Inktober 2020: A summary
Tumblr media
Hey folks, did a bit of a summary and recap for my adventures into the realm of visual art. It’s a medium-long sized post, so everything’s below a read more so as not to clog up your feed.
As of the 31st of October, I completed two artistic challenges:
100 Day art streak
The first one was creating some form of visual art everyday for 100 days in a row. Which is more art than I’ve ever done before in my life. In terms of art I’m a musician foremost so this was definitely a struggle. So being able to keep it up for 100 days in a row has been incredibly challenging and rewarding. I posted daily uploads through the Sketch A Day app, which gives a different prompt every day. During October, it follows the same prompt list as Inktober which leads me to-
Inktober
The second challenge, completing Inktober! Which for me was doing an ink piece every day for the month of October, though sometimes I added watercolour on top. It’s always exciting to do art along with other people, and Inktober being so far-reaching as it is has always been a goal of mine to complete, and now i’ve done it for two years in a row! It’s been humbling learning how to use a dip pen and not get ink smudged everywhere. But I eventually learned how to apply some differences in pressure, and how to be patient (that’s the most important one!).
Art Quality
I think it’s safe to say that at the very least on a technical level, my art has improved dramatically. I think it’s partially due to the volume of art i’m producing, and partially just improving as time goes on. A key difference is that I spent more time trying to go through art tutorials, and finding more art references, and artists I appreciate and enjoy. Shoutout to this tutorial which really helped me understand how to draw humans better.
The most popular art piece I did on Sketch a Day, with 40 likes, was my Yasuo blade:
Tumblr media
While my most popular post on Tumblr, with 28 notes (24 Likes and 2 reblogs. Idk how Tumblr math works) was this piece of Thompson & Thomson of Tintin:
Tumblr media
It’s a little weird, being a heavily visual thinker, and only doing some form of visual art now in my mid-20s.It’s a lot of fun though, and I highly recommend inktober or even drawing in general as just a fun thing to do sometime.
and also like. The improvement has been staggering. This is my very first piece of art I did for inktober last year:
Tumblr media
And look at the shit i’m pumping out now. I’m not Hieronymous Bosch, and I have a long way to go, but just like:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for what i’m going to do for the future, there ain’t no way i’m stopping art now. Given that there’s a little controversy with Inktober itself, and i’m getting a little more confident in my ability to just make art, I might steer away from daily prompts after a while, maybe instead working on a larger piece over the course of a week, but still doing something everyday.  There are also a bunch of different monthly prompts i’m interested in, such as Swordtember, Knightober, An Adventurer’s Inventory, or drawing different potions every day for a month.  I’d really like to do those little artist challenges (draw x character in y style) that you sometimes see floating around the internet, also drawing my OCs finally. Drawing other people’s OCs would be a fun time too. Maybe I’ll even create a stylised artist persona and draw cute reactions and things.
In terms of mediums, I don’t enjoy using watercolour a great deal, though i’m told it’s because i’m new to it and not immediately good at it, so stuff will be a mixture of ink/watercolour for the forseeable future. Eventually I’d like to move to digital as a medium, but I want to be comfortable with traditional art first, especially with certain skills like drawing from life. Seeing as inktober is over, i doubt i’ll be posting an art piece everyday on Tumblr going forward, though I will post highlights or pieces i’m particularly proud of. If I do any fancy social media things I’ll make sure to let y’all know if you want to chuck a follow there. All in all, I just wanna make art, and for people to experience things. And to hopefully provide y’all who follow me some good content.

June 27th-July 3rd, 2020 Creator Babble Archive
The archive for the Creator Babble chat that occurred from June 27th, 2020 to July 3rd, 2020.  The chat focused on the following question:
If you could do your webcomic for a living, how would that change things in regards to how you work on it (if at all)?
Deo101 [Millennium]
I'd definitely put out more content, cause I could focus on it fully every day of the week.
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
i would probably start hating it and get burnt out
Deo101 [Millennium]
thats why I would also have to start another comic or do short stories on the side or something, too.
I would probably keep individual comics update schedules the same, I'd just do more comics
LadyLazuli (Phantomarine)
If it became a part-time job, I don't think anything would change. It kind of feels like that already. If I were in a position where it became a full-time job, I do dread how my relationship with the work would change. I don't think I could ever make as much doing comics as I do in my day job (which isn't crazy, but is comfortable) so I don't know if I could ever 100% transition unless it was really, really worth it It's something I've thought about a lot, for sure.
Cronaj ~{Whispers of the Past}~
In a way, my comic is my full-time job? I don't make very much money with it, but I do put over 40 hours a week into it, and I don't have another job. I am in the very fortunate position of having an SO who is able to support me financially while I try to get my footing with my passion. If I was depending on it for a paycheck though, the main thing that would change is my style would probably get simpler, because there is no way I can make enough pages a week otherwise.
Holmeaa - working on WAYFINDERS
It is really the dream to be able to do it! Right now I am unemployed, so I basically treat the comic as my fulltime job, until I find the next short project. I want to be able to work on it full time! In Denmark there are some cool possibilities to get funding from the government and I hope we can get enrolled with some of those programs with our comic.
I would also just love to do small videos, podcasts, animations etc. Small fun projects
Mitzi (Trophallaxis)
If I had to do it full time, I think i'd put a LOT more hours into learning how to paint, watching speedpaints, ect. It'd also make a huge difference in my living situation, as the first thing I'd honestly do with a full time at-home job is move to another city with cheaper rent. Another state, maybe! Oh, and I'd do a lot more promo work. posters and animations are fun, but they're not quite worth it with an audience consisting of two my writing partner's friends, and my older brother.
Shizamura 🌟 O Sarilho
the biggest difference, I suppose, would be that I would make a lot more pages, a lot faster. But I like it that it's been pointed that the relationship with work changes when you have to do things full time, so there may be some unpredictable variables there
eliushi [Keyspace]
For a living for me can mean many different things: able to sustain living expenses vs full-time. There’s overlap but one gives financial security meaning an element of creative freedom. The opposite end will probably entail working on other comic projects with the current one as a passion story on the side (no change but probably might not want to draw so much after drawing for work!) If we’re discussing the ability to do the webcomic full time without financial worries then I do believe my output will increase but also I will be dedicating more time to the craft (studying story structures, art directions etc) as well as marketing/joining professional associations/pitching/connections. There are a lot of career options within the comic world and I’d love to explore everything before deciding what’s best for the current story. Ultimately if I were to do this as a living, I’d treat it like any other job: a routine, a strive for improvement, and wellness to recharge. I follow several artists not only for their art but also their schedule/workflow to see what worked for others. It’s very interesting!
In reality though, I might work on smaller scale projects on the side to build up the experience and platform needed to tell the story of Keyspace. As a full time comic creator, I’ll be seriously thinking to covert the seven novel series into a hug comic project. So TL;DR if full time, I make more pages
varethane
I'm in an odd place with my comic because.... well, I sort of had an opportunity to spend all of my time on it for a few months, when I was in between contracts at work. But I found that I wasnt getting it done all that much faster than I did when also working full time
To be fair, it's kind of hard to compare my speed between the three periods, because when I returned to work after a few months away, it was after work from home had started and now I no longer have a commute, so perhaps my ability to squeeze comic pages into my free time has expanded.... but I feel like my attention span caps out around 8 hours on any single task
So I didnt work that much faster. But... I'm also bad at keeping track. I could be wrong.
Yung Skrimp (Carefree)
8 hours is a long attention span
varethane
It's not all in one go, haha.
eliushi [Keyspace]
I definitely have to take breaks between pages, whether or not I have just a few minutes to a chunk of hours
It’s about finding a balance that works for you!
keii’ii (Heart of Keol)
I don't think I could put more hours daily into my comic than I currently do. I have a chronic issue with my drawing shoulder, so my body won't be able to handle that much work. Probably wouldn't be great for my eyes, either. I also don't know if I want my livelihood to depend on how many people like my story. This story is a pair of custom-tailored skinny jeans for my heart (and I have an unusual body type, making it impossible to wear skinny jeans regardless of size). It's a story I want to read. It's meant to fit ME. I don't want to worry about how to also make it fit a bunch of other people.
That being said, some people do find themselves in a situation where they're making something they want to read, and a bunch of other people just happen to like it, too. I think that would be nice
chalcara [Nyx+Nyssa]
I physically can‘t draw for more than four, five hours a day, found that out the hard wayy
eliushi [Keyspace]
I most recently developed pain likely due to RSI and have made accommodations since then but yeah it was scary to think that I have a limit in drawing time. Gotta find ways to take care of yourself for the long run
cAPSLOCK (Tailslide)
I think if comics were my only job, I'd feel a lot more anxious about what I create, and would struggle to work consistently. Having another pursuit makes me feel like I have more freedom to experiment, learn, and make what I want to make.
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
That's a really good point keii
Would drawing a comic for a living push me to change it to have more mass appeal?
I don't know but it is definitely possible and would be on my mind
Joichi [Hybrid Dolls]
It is the dream, if I could get a decent monthly wage on my comic, yes I will dedicate more time, work out a better schedule. Get an editor and colourist on board to help make a polished series. Altho I'm still doing this method to build good working habits But I agree with Eli's point, have to assign days for breaks for myself to prevent RSI. At present I have a trained mindset to work on schedules, but I may feel the pressure to produce as fast as I could.(edited)
Desnik
Well, for starters, my comic would actually be released somewhere, so it'd be nice if it made something back for me
Miranda
I’d actually release it. And work on it regularly, instead of sporadically like I have been! I’d definitely be more critical of what I was doing, and probably way more anxious every time I posted.
keii’ii (Heart of Keol)
You know, when I was only like 6 years old, I was like "I don't want to be an artist when I grow up. I love art too much, and I don't want to burn out and stop enjoying it. So I'm gonna be a singer instead." I have no idea how 6-year-old me knew about burnout, but I definitely remember saying that in response to an adult asking something like "what do you wanna be when you grow up"/ "wow, you're drawing all the time; do you want to become an artist?"
sssfrs (JOE IS DEAD)
The more I do comics the more I think I want to do art stuff as part of my main career. I would love to make sequential art that's for science purposes
sagaholmgaard
Ah that would be the dream! I'd probably feel more secure in my ability to build up a backlog of pages, and be able to make more extra content for the PDF version! And more content for instagram and twitter as well
kayotics
If I were to be able to do comics full time I think it would completely change my current lifestyle. Not even money wise but I’d need to switch up a lot of things. Like make sure I get a good amount of exercise in. I’d probably add in another page a week, but then use the rest of my week to project manage the comic, and promote my work. I’d spend a lot of other time working on creating an online store, because I can’t see the comic working full time without some supplemental merch keeping me afloat. And I’d also use that time to create and work on another comic series I think.
Yung Skrimp (Carefree)
If I were to do comics full time I’d flex on everyone I know
Feather J. Fern
If I was able to do comics full time, be able to pay off debts, substain rent and food, and extra saved for small spluges, I will shove my comic in my family's face(I got a family who doesn't believe in me at all), dancing around screaming "I MADE IT IN LIFE" And then jump out the window because haha this can't be a reality because I don't think I will ever make it in comics. I will still keep my other job of working at a library and drawing on the side becuase I want working job insurance and also I am the type who wants to save all their money if possible(edited)
eliushi [Keyspace]
I was on board until jumping out the window
Yung Skrimp (Carefree)
I wasn't on board until jumping out the window
Now I am
Moral_Gutpunch
If I could do this for a living, I could do so much. I could afford to put my mother ina home, start my dream farm and start a bunch of conservation as well, I could help my husband fund his own sidegig, and I could afford to foster pets like I always wanted.
shadowhood {SunnyxRain}
Personally, if I was able to do it I would be a lot more invested in it. I would also make a lot less excuses as to why I'm not practicing as much; it took a pandemic to happen for me to dry taking it more seriously!
I think overall I might have been more happy.
On the other hand, there's also the danger of burnout, of constantly doing the same thing over and over again for me. I'm the type that needs constant change, so I think I'm more suited to having another occupation be my main profession while comics/art would be a secondary one, where I don't have as much pressure. Furthermore, it's also my backup plan in case anything happens to my main job.
Moral_Gutpunch
^ This. I'd be focusing so much more on comics. And I'd be expanding into more comics and writing more stories. I'd be happier I'm writing more, but more frustrated at writers block
Tuyetnhi (Only In Your Dreams!)
Man if I could do it full time, might be able to pull more page updates and actually get deep into doing some long term projects I had planned for years. I won't have much of an issue as long i can also do my zine projects on the side. also would be nice to have some job insurance too along with it lmao. the only danger that could take it away if I get incapacitated for no reason lmao
TaliePlume
If I could do comics as my full time job would be awesome! But all that focus would go only to the comic and nothing else which is bad because I would be neglecting a lot of things and not getting other things done.
AntiBunny
I'd finally be able to tell my whole story and start telling another. It drives me crazy that I have more ideas than I can pursue.
snuffysam (Super Galaxy Knights)
In terms of my actual production, I'm not sure doing my comic as a living would change much lol. I already spend upwards of 40 hours a week on it, I seriously doubt there's more I could be doing. So, earning a living off my comic would just be... one less thing to worry about.

Now let’s be creating some little statements with a new brand! This company got in touch and wanted me to test out their products. At first, I thought they were a little different to what I was used to (mainly because they’re a thicker denier with different designs) but I really had to give them a go.
I have to say their whole brand is pretty quirky – and it’s something that is right up my street as long as I can style them right!
Oh and this is also Blog 1 of 2 – I have another one coming up for you all tomorrow 🙂
  About 77Denari
77DENARI is an Italian line of tights & socks of Italian manufacture produced in limited edition.
The line has an experimental and at the same time ancient character: the tights, of an elastic nature, are in fact printed according to the original artisan method and with water colors, a technique in use for “still” supports of natural origin.
Every single graphic element has changed to a frame, thus becoming an absolutely prized piece, a unique piece, and the ethical-aesthetic choice of using water colors alone makes the product complex and innovative; therefore the study of colors, designs and print media are the result of a combination of ingenuity and magic, feasibility and disruption of the rules.
77denari was born in 2012 and is composed of 8 tights / stories per collection; starting from 2018, 77news grows and launches the Socks collection, and the “STRIPPANTI” Other Line.
The entire creative and printing process is carried out by the two founders of 77denari, Simona Berardi and Carla Armillei, and is inspired by the crude vision of geometric elements typical of the instinct of Nature.
77denari also boasts the collaboration of various artists working in the field of graphic design and illustration, photography, music, video and styling. Each of them supports the project becoming an integral part of the creative process; their participation opens the circle of possibilities towards still unexplored and seductive alchemies, and they contribute to creating, for the 77DENARI project, an imprint that is renewed over time.
The idea on which the project is based is the desire to give “beauty” an extra value, in which harmony and proportions of the parts go beyond the absolute, of time and memory, and focus on the “Physical soul” of intrigued consciences. In this case in fact the work is worn and moves: it walks, runs, dances and lives stories, reinterpreting the proposed contents with its own voice, and in the meantime creating a new identity.
Tights – talisman therefore, capable of breaking the classical scheme of gender and form and of ruffling with wonder.
A special thanks goes to the “DUEC Calzificio” and to our consultant Renato Altimani.

Instead of creating something loud, I thought I would incorporate the tights into my outfit. I wore my cream bodysuit paired with my teal skirt and added my mustard boots to finish off the look. You could easily pair any other colour footwear with them to create a colour block, but I wanted to fuse it altogether to create a piece 🙂

    The Review
From The Website: 77denari, for autumn-winter 18/19, explores the vast world of feelings, and the multiple points of view they can generate. Thanks to the senses, the body in fact receives information from the interior and exterior environment. They are accessing the world itself within us. Each of them has the ability to form a perceptual opinion before the action of intelligence.
We have been taught that there are five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch, and that is anatomically, but also admits that we have a thermal sensitivity, and we know how to recognize the sense of well being, pain, or discomfort of the organism as a whole.
For this reason 77denarians have explored various currents, which have identified from 9 to 21. We have embraced 12 of them; precisely 7 more than the 5, through which we think we can fully experience our perception, and then transform us into what surrounds us, to try to increase that degree of cooperation, according to which individuals build together a reality and a shared truth.
– 100% made in Italy: the basic pantyhoses and socks are made by Italian manufacturer DUEC Calzificio located in Goffredo Castiglione;
– 100% handmade screen printing: no use of printer;
– composition: 85% polyamide and 15% elastane;
– one size fits all: the basic product is extremely elastic for sizes S-M-L;
– drawings only with water colors;
– limited edition: max 100 pieces for model;
– high resistance and durability of the design: hand washing at 30 degrees is recommended.
The Packaging: now I have to say how impressed I was with their packaging. They were sent in a super padded envelope, in 2 small boxes.
Very simple, but they are certainly different and I love it. Even though there isn’t much detail to them in terms of model, sizing, blurb about the hosiery etc, they still aren’t bad at all.
Getting Them On: now as the pattern is symmetrical on each leg, I took my time doing the scrunch and roll up the legs making sure I pair it as evenly as I can so I don’t have to do it again later.
These were fine rolling up the legs, and going over anklets. I had no issues at all – if anything they were super soft and so easily to glide right up.
Tumblr media
  On The Legs:
well all I can say is how funky are these?!?!?!
The quality of these are really good I have to say. They are such a gorgeous fit on the legs; even if they are a one size pair! They have so much stretch to them and really do hug the legs well. I expected them to be slightly loose, but in actual fact that is not the case!
They look like they are a block cream colour, but if you stretch them (like how they stretch on my thighs) they do go slightly lighter. You still do get really good leg coverage overall, but it’s something to note if you want a true opaque block colour.
The design is super awesome; I have done something similar a while ago with a Jonathan Aston pair (called Dynamic) which was black sheer with a black design and they really rocked. I love how they have worked the black and goldy-yellow colour at the side of the legs, which gives you the opportunity to actually pair up colours easily with it. As I mentioned, I kept with my mustard boots, but I could have easily done purple or blue (with a different skirt too) and it would just enhance the colour and design even more.
The only downside I had was that the print was a little off on the left leg; it’s like it got stuck and slightly peeled off a little. It’s nothing major but if I’m going into the nitty gritty details, that is something I picked up on when I got them out the packaging.
The fit of these are great; as I said for a one size pair, these are fab. I do feel it could fit up to a large size but you would be looking at a sheerer cream colour than a block opaque.
The feel of them are super soft and so nice on the legs. They’re smooth (both inside and out), they’re soft to touch and they really do caress the legs.
The Toes & Ankle: are also great. I expected some chunky seams around the toes creating little bumps around the ends but nothing of the sort. They fit and shape to the toes really nicely so you get a smooth looking finish. This also carries around the foot and up the ankles too.
You will find these will wrinkle slightly around the ankle due to the higher denier, but nothing too major.
I do think these are reinforced – and I will say that as the denier is quite thick so it would be pretty hard to create holes in these!
The Waistband: is so soft and so comfortable I don’t wanna take these off! I love the way they sat on the waist and actually just moved with me. They don’t fall down or move out of place once you set them, and they certainly don’t lose elasticity quickly either no matter how many times you pull them down and back up again.
It’s a proper comfort band, and I really like it!
Tumblr media
    My Thoughts?
I gotta say I really loved being in these. They were such an experience. I know most higher denier can be a hit or miss, but these are a pair which I would class as a luxe pair. I say this purely because of the way they are made, how they feel on the legs and the quality is just lovely. Trust me when I say when you roll these on, you instantly tell what they’re gonna be like for the next 10+ hours!
I am so looking forward to my 2nd pair I get to try out!

Hey! Just wanted to drop by and say I really love your art and seeing your content! Along with the ideas you speak of sometimes. It's so nice to see because it looks like you enjoy what you do. It's an inspiration, really. I also wanted to ask, what's your inspiration? And what keeps you motivated? And this next one might be a bit personal, but do you have moments of self doubt? How do you deal with it?
Hi! First of all, thanks a lot for the ask, I don’t get personal questions about my art very often, so it’s very cool to see that some people are actual people and not porn bots, and are actually interested in the things I post!
Now for the actual ask, which I’ll totally have to divide into parts. I’ll also set a cut because it got hella long. Now, let’s go!
I have a very bad habit of word vomiting whenever I post art. It’s not only ever since I’ve started binge drawing Zesty fanart, I’ve pretty much always been like this ever since I started posting art on the internet about… 12 years ago at the very least? It used to be a lot of musing about the art itself (like, “what do you think, should I have tried this or that?” or “I had trouble with this thing” or “I actually like how whatever turned out”), which is probably due to the fact that teenage me had still a lot to learn and wasn’t afraid to admit that and ask for advice. I mostly posted my art online to get some peer advice.Nowadays, I am still aware of my shortcomings, but I don’t talk about the technical aspects of my art that often anymore. Nowadays, I have two reasons for posting art online: 1) I’m trying to make a living out of this shit, so naturally I’m trying to make as many people as possible aware of the fact that I exist. 2) I just wanna talk about the thing ™. Honestly. Never underestimate either of these points. That’s why there’s very often so much text and ranting in the tags. Because. I. want. to. talk. about. the. thing. I have an unholy amount of sticky notes on my desktop with ideas of things I’d either like to do because I think it would be subjectively cool, or because it might be a good addition to my portfolio. (spoilers: the former usually gets done like a decade earlier)I’m very glad that the sparks fly over and it shows that I love the things I love! ♥The result is novel-length descriptions for single sketches and tag vomit, though, lol.
“I also wanted to ask, what’s your inspiration?”
There’s no easy answer to that. First of all, it sounds a bit as if I was actively looking for inspiration. Which I am not. As I said, I rather have too many ideas and end up scrapping an unholy amount because even if I only do doodle shitpost sketches there’s no way I can do it all in a lifetime. I don’t know whether you had been implying that I actively look for inspiration or not, but if you did, let me tell you that I don’t. If you didn’t mean to imply that, no harm done. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t GET any. Because of course I get my inspiration from all kinds of places. I don’t watch a lot of movies, but I love going to the cinema and hearing the sounds and get eye candy (I love epic shots with the camera panning over landscapes and cool action scenes. Also, go watch The Secret of Kells, everyone). I always come out of blockbuster movies feeling like I wanna do something epic, too. I always listen to a whole lot of music, too, and there’s way too many songs that make me want to tell stories, and that plant pictures in the cinema in my head.(there was a time before Tales of Zestiria when I did original art and most of my paintings had some kind of musical inspiration lol. My stories, too).
Then there’s style and subject matter.Style first. I stopped aiming for a specific style pretty early on (like, late teens), and just accepted what came to me and works for me. The result is the weird anime not quite anime semi realism mixture that I have going, and the ratio usually varies depending on what I currently want to do. If I gave you a list of my favorite artists, you’d probably be surprised how little my own art has in common with theirs.Subject matter? WELLLLLL my original stuff comes from what I told you above, additionally, I studied medieval literature for a reason, and I loved mythological tales from my teenage years onwards. I’m much less enthusiastic about them now, but it used to influence my original art for quite a few years.…Also, I obviously like to do fanart. Like, a lot.
Also spoilers: I obviously love Zesty a tiny bit too much, because for no other fandom the streak of fanart has ever been holding up for two years and still counting without an end in sight, and I’ve never come up with any AUs, either. Usually my ideas went straight into original material, and this original material usually got top priority, but here it’s different, and I’m not sure whether it’s a good or a bad thing, haha. So basically don’t wait for my original stories* until I’m either a) done with the Zesty fandom or they’ve united and kicked me out or b) I’ve actually drawn at least four more full scale elaborate illustrations, have created the four or five AUs that I keep doodling for and ranting about, and I have finally run out of steam. Bets are up what happens first.
If you want specifics, it’s always easier to determine inspiration for a particular piece than in general. It can be so many different things.
* Although I still very, very much like some of my ideas and would actually love to do them. I just love to do low-effort Zesty fanart more XD. Shocking! But honestly, I am as surprised as anyone else that my muses shifted as much as they have, and mid-twenties me would never have guessed she’d fall into this rabbit hole in no time…
“And what keeps you motivated?”
I never… really needed to push myself to be motivated. It’s always been intrinsic. I had pictures in my head, I wanted them out. So I had to learn how, and do it. I have ideas in my head. I want to share them. I very much like this thing others have made. I want to tell the entire world how much I love it, so I do by drawing fanart. Simple as that.Positive responses (and asks like this!!) are a great motivator to POST art, but not to DO the art. The latter is intrinsic.Actually, probably TOO intrinsic. Because I keep drawing the things I WANT to draw and not those which would teach me new skills and thus help with “make money with art” thing. So I guess it’s a bit of a mixed bag, haha.I started drawing daily instead of just regularly at some point during my master’s studies, so roughly 8-5 years ago? Whenever I’m on the road or beaten by illness or bad feelings, I sometimes only manage very simple, super bad sketches, but it’s better than nothing. Luckily, it’s not like that every day (still more often that I’d like to, though).
If you’re wondering:Yes, I’ve had artblocks. Usually not in the sense of “I don’t have ideas”, but VERY MUCH in the sense of “I don’t feel like any of the ideas I have right now” and also “nothing I touch turns out the way I want it to turn out”. To all artists out there: it goes away. Believe me. Your stupid period will be over next week (to the guys out there: that’s not a joke. It DOES affect my general condition). It will be better the moment YOU feel better from whatever you’re currently suffering from.Yes, I’ve also scrapped ideas not because I didn’t like them after all, but because I tried and just failed repeatedly at executing them. Yes, I’ve had such bad times in life that I didn’t want to do ANYTHING. That included art. I just. didn’t. want. to. do. anything. Sometimes I still have these phases, but at least it no longer lasts for months straight without break.
“And this next one might be a bit personal, but do you have moments of self doubt?”
Pfft. Of course. Show me an artist who hasn’t. I’ve learned by now that you can acquire every skill you want. The question is whether you have the time and the will for it. If I had started drawing daily much earlier in life, and if I’d practiced more of the things I’m not good at instead of doodle shitposting, I’d be at an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT level than I am now. Even if I had STILL studied what I studied as I did (as I said, medieval literature, nothing art related). I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil and my parents have always been supportive, so that wasn’t a problem, I just wasn’t aware all these years that it could be something future me might want. Past me couldn’t have KNOWN. It’s okay, in a way. I can do the things I WANT to do by now. Not always as majestically as the ideas deserve, but it does the job. I don’t need to be able to do hyper realistic portraits, or hyper detailed interiors of space ships, for example. (it would be cool to be able to draw musical instruments tho. I’d love to learn 2D animation, too, but WHEN??) In short, am I aware that I’m not god and that my skills are limited in comparison to many other artists? Yes. Is that a problem? No.Do I doubt whether I can do my job, though? Very much yes. Because successful freelance artists don’t only need skill, they need to sell themselves, and I suck at that most epically. Do I miss the times when I didn’t even think about becoming better but simply drew for fun? Pretty much, yeah. Do I miss the times when I still had the ability to concentrate on elaborate, large paintings? Yes, I do. But I can’t turn my brain back to 10 year old. So I’ll have to deal with what I have now.
If you’re wondering whether I had moments of self doubt about my ideas, then, yes, very super much yes. I am convinced that the things you produce should be what YOU want to see. I want to draw what I want and tell the stories I WANT TO SEE AND READ. As I said, I’m doing it because I want these things to exist. Does it still hurt if nobody else likes these ideas? Yes, yes it does very much. It’s not even that I start thinking my ideas were bad, but that I start thinking “Nobody understands me and nobody will ever be able to like me because they don’t like my ideas, and my ideas are part of me”. Which is true, but it is ALSO true that you do not have to like every single idea some other person has to like them or be friends with them, I am aware of that, but if I may be honest here, it’s still a thought that I can’t quite get rid of, and still gets me angsty whenever I share some of my story ideas with anyone.
“How do you deal with it?”
I don’t. Ahem. Truth be told, I never really developed a proper coping mechanism for failures, and I don’t exactly like that about myself, but I still haven’t found a proper solution. As much as I stress that I do the things I do because I actually want to, I also told you that it scares me to see people disagreeing. It’s not only art related, whenever I feel I messed something up (school ie. marks, socialisation, whatever), it eats at me for days or even weeks until something positive happens (like, better marks, a compliment, anything). I don’t really like it, mostly because it starts a vicious cycle, but that’s how it is. I had surprisingly little problems with that during my university years because I had good marks, but I still mess up at least 50% of all the social interaction I do. It’s not always that easy with art, either.Story time.I remember one conversation with an artist who’s teaching art classes at my (ex) university, like, portrait drawings and flower paintings. So at some point when I started trying to live on art, I asked her whether she’d be interested in offering classes for other art styles as well, like comic drawing classes. She said she’d be interested, so I wanted to talk to her in person, but she never replied to that email reply. I decided to be bold for once, grabbed my portfolio, and went to her after one of her classes to show her what I’m doing. Put on the spot, she admitted that she didn’t reply any further because she didn’t like what I was doing. It was good from a technical aspect, but it seemed dull and uninspired to her, like something she had seen too many times already.I was devastated.I’ve always had to deal with underwhelming responses from peers and friends, too, but I also got some really sweet reactions and genuine support, so it was kind of a mixed bag, overall. I wasn’t used to that kind of harsh rejection of who I am.
Am I also very, VERY petty and jealous? Hell, yes. I get VERY jealous whenever I see people whose art is on my level or below but they still manage to make money with it, and have 10-100 times the amount of followers I have and/or get more enthusiastic responses online. It just makes me angry. The only way of coping I’ve ever found is stay the fuck away. I KNOW that it’s not these people’s fault if I’m jealous, and goddamn, freelance artist life is hard enough as it is. We don’t need to tear other apart. Surely they worked their asses off to be where they are. Heck, I’m friends with some. I keep away from those people so I can calm down and stop being angry, before I start lashing out at artists just because they get the attention they need and deserve. It’s not THEIR fault that I need money and also reassurance.
The only thing that ever worked for me to overcome any of these issues is just continue nevertheless. Keep doing what you’re doing. Remember what you love and why and JUST KEEP DOING IT. Even if you don’t see the point right now. Chances are you will see that point again. Maybe you never will. But IF you ever do, you want to make damn sure that you didn’t drop the ball in the meantime. There’s that saying that you can lose if you fight, but you can’t win if you never fight. It’s true. Be stubborn and show the world your middle finger.Spoilers: I’m teaching comic style drawing classes for the “rivaling” institute now. Always only in super small groups and it’s badly paid, so I don’t know for how long I’ll be able to keep it up, but it’s a start, right?
I hope that answered your questions!
Last remark: always remember, kids: you HAVE to produce the content you want to see yourself. Nobody is gonna do it for you unless you pay them. So. I’m doing it. Against better judgment, lol.…and watch The Secret of Kells.

@sartoonis
First drawing was done by an artist on the homestuck/hiveswap amino (forgot name) and second was dont by me.
EDIT 06/30/18: Thanks for the link! For those interested int he first artist, it’s Perla Megpoid over here!
Alternia or Beforus or some type of AU?: Alternia
Name (preferably include how you came up with it and why): Lexrit Kanska
Hmmm so I am assuming that much like Kazmal you picked letters that sounded nice? If we wanna theme it, the two really obvious culinary cannibals are Hannibal Lecter and Sweeny Todd, so how about Swentd Bellac?
Age: 7 sweeps
Strife Specibus: Cleaverkind
Fetch Modus: i dont really know, something like in order to get an item she would have to list out the main conponents that make up the item
I mean she kills people so how about a good ol’ fashioned Jigsaw Modus? Items are automatically split into mutliple captcha cards you’d need to alchemize the final product, and she’d need to jam stuff together to get it back out. Allows for creativity in creating new items, as well as comedy in combining incorrect ones.
Blood color: indigo
Symbol and meaning: Sagmino (Doom + Prospit) i think she might be better as derse but i honestly dont know
Nah, I think Prospit is a good assignation! She’s someone who’s exploiting existing norms rather than rebelling against them!
Trolltag: no clue
How about cookettishManeater? The first being a mashup of “cook” and “coquettish,” and the second being a work that can either mean a cannibal or a femme fatale. Gives a nice double meaning so her trolltag can make her come off as a flirt when she’s really a murderer.
Quirk: she replaces all her Os and 0s with ° Because of temperature, which plays a big role in cooking
S°unds g°°d!
Special Abilities (if any): none that i can think of
Yeah so far all we really have for indigobloods is that they’re really passionate and strong and psychically invulnerable. Which makes her powerful enough tbh.
Lusus: a Vulture (she calls him Vad. Kinda a combination between Vulture + Dad)
Personality: Shes highly manipulative to her moiral (Kazmal) and kinda treats him like utter garbage. However she is extremely sweet, caring and patient with her matesprit. She takes care of her due to her matesprite canabalizing her own arm. Which leaves her handicapped since it is a fairly recent amputation.
Aha! So I was wrong about his moirail being a yellowblood! Lemme whip up a new sprite for him real quick.
Tumblr media
God the color clash is atrocious I love it.
I do like that she’s different with her matesprit; I would love for you to write a little more about the reasons behind her behavior in both relationships.
Interests: she love love LOVES to cook! She loves to think of new dishes of exellent tastes with the “help” of other trolls! She is a master at tasting the difference in different blood colours (her favourites are purple and jade). She finds a sort of bliss in deciding when other trolls will die and how long they have yet to live. She loves enlisting other trolls to do her bidding for her so she wouldnt have to get her hands too dirty
Makes sense! She’s like the cook who hires others out to illegally get her truffles.
Title: Witch Of Doom
Oh yeah I can DEFINITELY see that. Especially given the association with witches and cannibalism.
Land: no idea
This one’s EASY! :D Land of Toil and Trouble, dotted with heaps and heaps of calderas!
Dream Planet: Derse??? But i dont know if prospit fits better? I have no clue.
Tumblr media
First off I adore that you put her in an apron as well since it gives them both a very neat visual tie-in for totally different jobs. And unlike Kazmal, I wanted her to have virtually no trace of purple on her at all, to how how unmoved she is by her moirail. Let’s go top to bottom!
Hair - I used a naphal base for her hair and gave her a very neat topknot instead of a ponytail, the better to keep it out of the way when she’s cooking!
Horns - the ones you gave her fit purpleblood norms a little better than they did indigoblood, so I gave her arrow-tipped ones that curve around her head.
Eyes - this is a basic fan-troll template that I picked for the hooded eyes, since they conveyed the calculated look I was going for
Mouth - we don’t see many “toothy” indigobloods and they tend to have humanoid mouths, so I just gave her a slight smirk
Shirt - kept it the same more or less but wanted the collar for the “line cook” look; sprite is from fan-troll.
Apron - sprite from naphal. I wanted to make it black since stains don’t show up as readily on that, which should make it all the more chiling that she’s cooked enough trolls for them to be visible. I used a sprite seet from fryingpanismyweapon for all the blood spatters. I also placed the symbol on the patch on her chest since it made more sense that it was another symbol-specific piece of clothing instead of one that she presumably painted on using a fellow indigoblood’s blood.
Shoes - from naphal
Aaaaand that’s it for my review of her! I like her a lot.

SHINee’s Taemin; 'MOVE' Your Body With Mine
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Genre: Smut      Pairing: Taemin x Reader      Words: 1861
A/N: Taemin has me totally whipped, MOVE is a piece of art ;w;.. anyways, hope you enjoyed this little fic! Don't hesitate to send requests! <3
Tumblr media
You studied your own figure intensely in the mirror, making sure every little move was perfect before you showed the new choreography to Taemin. You had been his backup dancer for so long, it felt incredibly weird suddenly having to stand in front of him and not behind him; your heart beating faster at the thought. You deeply admired Taemin - both for his breathtaking abilities as an artist,  but also for being a compassionate and gentle person in general. He was always kind to those around him and never complained, unlike many other artists you had worked with.
In the beginning you had found it hard to keep up with everyone else; partly because you hadn’t trained as long as the others but also because the way he moved at practice had you mesmerized and in awe every time you tried to focus. You quickly learned to focus on your own reflection and movements, instead of letting yourself be hypnotized by every body roll and hip thrust he so perfectly executed. Unfortunately, you couldn’t use that method this time, as your job was now to keep a close eye on him, looking out for even the smallest mistakes and instructing him.
To say you were shocked when they asked you to choreograph his new song would be an understatement - you could have sworn you forgot to breathe for a full ten seconds. Day and night you had found yourself in the practice room at SM, perfecting every move and making sure it all worked together and fit with his concept. Even when your legs felt like they were going to give in, you kept going out of fear of seeing disappointment in his eyes when you showed him what you came up with. Today was judgement day; the day he’d finally see your choreography. Although you were happy with your result, you couldn’t help but be filled with worry; the moves you had incorporated was sensual to say the least, and you wasn’t sure you’d be able to take your attention off of Taemin doing them.
‘’Y/N, you’re already here’’ a sweet voice beamed from the end of the room.
You had been so lost in your own head, you hadn’t even noticed Taemin entering the room with a big smile planted on his face. You turned around, a little too quickly, and bowed slightly, not really knowing what to do with yourself. The two of you had talked on several occasions, but it was never more than casual smalltalk or dance discussions, so being in a room alone with him threw you completely off guard. Taemin stretched his arms above his head, which caused his sweater to lift, revealing his pale and toned stomach to you. You quickly averted your gaze, trying to regain some professionalism, not daring to wonder what Taemin might think of you if he knew how affected you got by his mere presence.
During your inner struggle he had walked over to you, a hand now waving in front of your face to draw you back to reality. He laughed when a small whimper escaped you due to the shock of him suddenly being so close.
‘’Earth to Y/N-’’ he smirked ‘’-I’ve been looking forward to seeing what you’ve come up with. Wanna get started?’’
Being at a loss for words, you simply nodded and made your way to the sound system. Before pressing play, you turned around and put on the most professional attitude you could muster. ‘’I’m thinking i’ll just show you the entire thing first, then you can come with notes if you want anything changed.’’ He nodded and walked to the back of the room, eager to watch.
You pressed play and suddenly ‘MOVE’ filled the entire room and enveloped your body in its sensual rhythm. You took your place on the middle of the floor, took a deep breath, and then started moving to the beat - Taemin’s gaze feeling heavy on your body. Your hips began moving slowly from side to side, and as if the song gave you extra courage, you dared looking at Taemin in the reflection of the mirror to catch his reaction. This was only the beginning but his eyes had already widened significantly, and he was studying your every movement intensely, which caused your face to heat up and a shiver to run down your spine.
By the middle of the song the room felt like it was on fire. With every new movement Taemin’s gaze grew darker and your breath got heavier. The song had managed to fully engorge you and you no longer felt embarrassed or held back; you felt the song and his hungry eyes on you. You had no idea how a simple song and dance could have this effect on the both of you, but you surely wasn’t complaining, and clearly neither was Taemin.
When you were nearing the end of the song, it suddenly dawned on you just exactly what you were doing, and slight panic rose in you. Maybe you had made the dance too sensual? Perhaps his hungry gaze was merely your own wishes, causing you to see things that weren’t there? You closed your eyes and focused on finishing, suddenly wishing the song lasted longer so you could avoid confrontation. When the room fell silent you didn’t dare to open your eyes. It wasn’t until you felt a strong hand on your shoulder your eyes fluttered open, and you were immediately met with sight of Taemin’s handsome features mere inches away from your face. A ragged breath escaped your throat as he tightened his grip on you.
‘’That was..wow’’ he whispered, his voice thick with desire. Maybe you hadn’t just imagined it after all. ‘’I’m glad you liked it’’ you stammered in response, still flustered by him being so close. A smirk grew on his face as he moved his hand from your shoulder to your waist.
‘’You made the dance sensual on purpose, didn’t you? I wonder if it was because you needed me to see you like this,-’’ he moved even closer, so close his lips were just barely touching yours ‘’-or if you just wanted to see me move slowly and sexually’’. As he spoke he began slowly grinding his hip into yours, and you couldn’t help but whimper in response. You didn’t dare telling him that both his guesses were correct, although it was kind of obvious. You desperately wanted him to kiss you, hell, you wanted him to just have his way with you, your mind being to clouded with desire to care about anyone walking in and catching you in the act. Your breath grew heavier with your growing arousal, and based on the hard bulge you felt against your leg, you could only assume Taemin felt the same way.
‘’You know, I think I might need to see the beginning again, just to make sure I fully understand’’ he muttered. You instantly picked up on his intentions and closed your eyes while beginning to rotate your hips against his, much like the dance. Taemin groaned at the friction against his growing erection, and moved his hands behind you to grab your ass and pull your hips harder against his. You couldn’t fight the moan that escaped you as soon as Taemin captured your lips in a hungry kiss, that instantly warmed your entire body. It felt like hours went by with the two of you simply moving against each other and dancing with your tongues; the outside world being long forgotten.
One of his hands moved up to your head to tread his fingers in your hair, pulling you slightly back to deepen the kiss. The other was slowly making its way down past the waistband of your black sweatpants and then your already drenched panties.
‘’You have..no idea..how long i’ve wanted this’’ you moaned in between kisses, not wanting to let go of his soft lips.
‘’As long as I have, I imagine’’ He groaned in response, pulling away ever so slightly to catch a glimpse of your face, which was drowned in pleasure.  He removed his hand from your hair and slipped it under your shirt, cupping your breasts and feeling them with such a patience and precision that it was almost like he was trying to memorise their shape and softness. Without warning he pressed two fingers inside your heated core causing you to arch your back in pure bliss. Your own hands found their way down to work on his zipper, freeing his now fully erect member. You rested your forehead against his as you started moving your hand up and down in a slow and steady rhythm, both of you having your eyes closed, merely basking in each others presence. His moans were sweeter than any song you had ever heard, and they mixed perfectly with yours, creating a beautiful symphony of pleasure.
After a while of this you felt a knot starting to form in your stomach, signifying the nearing of your release. In that moment it felt as if you and Taemin were the only people on the planet, your two bodies chasing their release together like that was their only purpose. He cautiously started rubbing your clit, and you caught yourself gasping because of the sudden sensation. You couldn’t recall how all of this had happened so rapidly; you couldn’t understand how he had returned your desire all along; but most of all, you couldn’t grasp just how amazing your entire body felt with his touch. You finally dared to open your eyes, and seeing his face covered in pure ecstasy made you pick up your tempo, dedicated to making him come along with you.
With one last thrust of his fingers you clenched around him and moaned his name loudly, not giving a damn if anyone heard you. Not long after, Taemin followed and covered your hand in his cum while burying his head in your shoulder to muffle his groan. For a while you both just stood there trying to regain your breath, but the sound of quickly approaching footsteps outside the room threatened to expose the two of you. You both made quick work of your clothes and found something to wipe your hands with, barely regaining composure before the door was flung open by Taemin’s manager - his eyes scanning you both questioningly.
‘’You two getting any progress done?’’ he asked.
Taemin shot you a quick glance, a glimmer of something loving yet teasing in his eyes.
‘’Actually, I think I might need some time to learn this dance. Would it be possible to find room in my schedule for more practice?’’ He inquired, faking innocence. While he managed to fool his manager, you knew that his intentions were anything but pure. You smiled to yourself at the thought,  trying to hide it behind your hand, not wanting to make the other suspicious.
You had no protest to his request though - you were totally whipped for that man and the mere thought of his lips against yours made your core tingle all over again.

Hello, hun. So here's my imagine for you: How would UT, MT Sans and the US and UF brothers (I'm sorry if I've exceed the character limit, feel free to choose any skeles you like in that case) react to an artistic s/o who has insomnia and they often spend the night sketching/sculpting/painting until the early hours of the morning, and the next time the s/o looks at the art peace they destroy it because it's a reminder that they lost another night to the insomnia? Who would try to stop/help them?
omg YOU’RE the sweetie ya sweetie
i just realized that i headcannon many of the boys as insomniacs jeezums but this is some unique prompt, holy carp i love
UT!Sans: At first, he’s really happy to know you’ve got a creative outlet. He has trouble with insomnia himself due to some reoccuring nightmares, so however and for whatever reason your insomnia manifests, he’s very supportive. He’s really proud of your creative endeavors, and often drapes himself over your shoulder to watch if you’re comfortable with it. He finds it soothing to see all that really cool stuff in your head gradually appear out of nothing.
He wonders where they all end up, of course, but he’s pretty sure the insomnia art is personal and he’s really not one to intrude on that sort of thing. The first time he catches you punching through a canvas, he’s more confused than anything else. He doesn’t know how you distinguish a good piece from a bad piece, but that portrait sure did look like a person. This worries him. He’ll wait until after you’re done and try to break the tension a little. “guess that portrait was a bust, eh? heh…”
Once you tell him why, he understands, but something about it feels wrong to him. He just can’t see your art as a product of a wasted night. If you gain some sort of catharsis from destroying your pieces, he sure as hell isn’t going to stop you, but his soul twinges whenever he sees you do it. Secretly, he starts looking up ways to start fighting insomnia and tries to open the topic to you. He can see how destroying the art might be harmful, and maybe if he expands your options you’ll start to keep them. In any case, he won’t try to directly stop you, but he will try to divert your coping mechanisms to something less… smashy.
MT!Sans: Your art is a breath of fresh air in his chaotic world. He also has trouble with nightmares, and will often stay up with you to watch you work or just read a book beside you. It does him proud to know his s/o finds such pure and creative ways to spend their time. Watching you is one of the few things in his life that’s truly peaceful, that makes him feel at home.
Which is why when he first catches you ripping up a sketch, he immediately snatches it up and asks what the actual heck you’re doing. He’s usually off doing jobs during the day, so he figured you were just stashing them somewhere when he wasn’t around. But this? It feels like sacrilege! Why would you destroy your own pieces?
Once you explain, he’s tempted to argue, but stops himself. Obviously he loves your art, it makes him think of you and the time you spent together when you made it. He never really considered that you might’ve had a more complicated relationship with your pieces, but it makes sense to him. Still, thinking about all those works being torn up or broken… it opens a void somewhere precious. One night though, something hits him. If you just want them gone, he might know a guy.
“‘ey doll, ever think of puttin these up for sale?”
UF!Sans: Color him impressed, kid. He’s the opposite of a creative type, so he doesn’t really know what’s good from what’s great, but you seem to have this stuff down to a T and he couldn’t be prouder. His night terrors and resulting insomnia is significantly worse than his Tale and Mob self, so he tends to come watch you for comfort after an episode. It’s almost surreal, the way are your art comes outta nothing like that. Sometimes it’s enough to help him wanna sleep again.
The first time he sees you smashing a small statue, he’s shocked and a little afraid. At first, he doesn’t connect the violence to the statue, and thinks something unrelated is making you angrily break things. And hey, he’s been there, but it still triggers a slight panic response. After taking a breath, he just gently swipes away the rubble of your statuette with magic and asks what’s wrong. He’s trying to formulate a short lecture in his head on how harmful getting into the habit of breaking things when you’re angry can be and how he can try to help you learn some better ways to cope, but then you tell him why you’re destroying your art specifically.
And he gets it. He really gets it. He’s broken some things that reminded him of times he’d rather forget, too. He checks your hands for any scratches or wounds from the clay, and treats them if he finds any. He’s not at all good with words, but if you’re comfortable with it, he’ll try to talk with you about his experiences with this stuff, and ways to work through the lack of sleep and the low moods and the urge to break the pieces. But he won’t try to stop you. In fact, those situations are some of the few times he’ll actually help you clean up a mess without complaining. He just wants to help you through it as well as he can.
UF!Papyrus: He loves your creativity. He’s not much of an artist himself, but he has quite an eye for detail and has a knack for finding that THING in a piece that’s bothering you, and offering gentle critique. And that’s nothing compared to how much he gushes to friends about you and your art. Everybody look at his wonderful artist s/o, they’re doing so much and so well! He has experience in supporting a loved one with insomnia from helping his brother, but he himself doesn’t have it. His sleep schedule is tight and short though, so he’ll likely catch you working in the wee hours of the morning sometimes and stop for a while to just… bask in your skill. He really admires your dedication, even though he’s concerned about your sleep schedule and will try to get you into daytime habits that’ll help you get in a couple more hours.
When he first sees you wrecking a pot you’d made, he panicks, swiftly lifts you out of reach of any breakable objects, and pulls you into a so-called “Calm-Down Squeeze,” in which he hugs you really tightly and hums a soothing tune until you either stop thrashing or soften your tone. His brother used to have a habit of wrecking things in anger, and he wasn’t about to lose another vase. Since you aren’t actually in a bout of rage, the Squeeze is short lived and he puts you down, tapping his foot and coolly asking for an explaination.
Once you tell him about your struggle, his finger, in the air and poised for a lecture, lowers. He didn’t expect to hear that it was about ridding yourself of a reminder. Edge can understand wanting to destroy the past, or wanting some sort of revenge against your issues. He’d felt that way for a long time, heck, he still felt that way sometimes. But maybe he could help you feel better? He starts with helping you with the mess, then tries to discuss better ways to deal with your resentment towards your sleepless nights. He’ll definitely try to get you to meditate with him more often, teach you some breathing exercises, and will likely start squirreling your pieces away after you’re done when he can, so that you don’t have to face them until you’re ready. And hey, now you’re familiar with the Calm-Down Squeeze and can have one whenever you need one!
US!Sans: He is immesurably proud of your artistic ability. He’ll probably try out some of some of your art mediums to support you, and try to get you to take classes with him to expand your artistic muscles together. He’s always wanted to tke up painting, but never seemed to get around to it until now. He’s not exactly an insomniac, but his sleep schedule isn’t exactly healthy. He pushes himself to stay up too late and get up too early, and though he can function well enough on little sleep, it’s still to his detriment. Seeing you struggle with insomnia and supporting you actually helps him admit to himself that he should be sleeping more, too.
When he first sees you ripping up a drawing, he assumes it’s due to some manner of art block. Goodness knows when he was particularly frustrated with a piece, he felt like destroying it, too. He figures that that plus and an extended lack of restful sleep didn’t mix very well. He sits beside you and touches your arm, asking if you’re okay.
Once you tell him what’s really going on, he’s a little surprised. He was pretty proud that you’d figured out a way to endure those nights, he always figured these pieces would remind you how well you survived, just like they remind him. He tells you that, but also that he won’t stop you from breaking the pieces, but he’d feel better if you looked into better solutions together. So now, every early morning while you’re awake, he tries to get you to meditate or paint with him while the sun rises, before you see that night’s piece again. He tends to hide them, but leaves one out every once in a while to test the waters. Art is just such an important part of what you do, and he doesn’t want it to act like a reminder of failure, when you use is so often to persevere.
US!Papyrus: He’s happy to see that you’re following your artistic passion. As a person that has had little to aspire to, seeing you tackle your work with such skill warms up a part of him that’s been been left mostly unattended. He’ll watch you work and ask questions about your technique, and offers pretty good criticsm if you ask. He has a way of letting you know what could be improved without making it sound like something’s really wrong with your piece. His insomnia doesn’t have anything to do with nightmares, but his anxieties drive him completely up the wall at night. As much as he wished you’d sleep more, he’s sorta glad that you’re awake during these times. Seeing you work gives him something to focus on when he feels like freaking out, and it can help him settle down after an attack.
When he finds you tearing up a painting, he doesn’t process exactly what you’re doing until he recognizes it as the painting from last night. He walks up and squeezes your shoulder, asking what it did to deserve that. When you explain, he shrugs. Makes sense to him that the process of creating would be helpful even when the creation reminds you only of the struggle. Shame about the canvas, though. Try to clean up after yourself if you’re gonna do that, okay?
But the thing is, now your works seem to just… disappear after you make them. At least the ones you make at night. If you ask Stretch, he’ll just shrug and say they’ll turn up eventually. He’s obviously squirreling them away somewhere, but he knows you won’t look for them. He just likes your art, and it’d be such a shame to waste the materials on something you’re just gonna break. Plus it’s satisfying for him to look at the end product of something he watched the making of. If nothing changes, he might never outright tell you that he keeps them. He’s also just a touch more active about trying to get you to come to bed. He realizes that it probably won’t do much, but maybe both of you could get an extra hour in edgewise if you were committed.
