daniel, sleep, and cookies the kitten’s hostile relationship with one johnny lawrence: a 200 word drabble by me <3

Johnny can't believe he's actually asleep.

Normally, Daniel was a ball of energy, outlandish and eccentric and all those other words that were fancy ways of saying weird and loud. But he'd been working at the bonsai shop all day, it's only natural that he'd be tired out at the end of it.

But Daniel was never natural, not to Johnny.

They were watching--rather, supposed to be watching--Iron Eagle, as it was Johnny's turn to pick the movie. He'd insisted Daniel would like it, but now...now...

He was asleep on Johnny's shoulder, hair flopping into his eyes where it was wet from his shower. His cat, a black and white mop of fuzz named Cookies, was blinking up at Johnny curiously.

"You better not wake him up with your yowling, you fat bastard," Johnny whispered, glaring at him. Between Daniel and Johnny playing good dad bad dad, Johnny didn't imagine he'd be winning any awards from the cat anytime soon.

"Hm...?" Daniel stirred, mostly still asleep.

Cookies blinked at him again; Johnny was convinced it was Morse code for "your fault, asshole".

"Um, nothing, I just...I love you," Johnny said, quick and soft and on-the-fly.

Daniel mumbled a slew of words, curling closer to Johnny. By consequence, Cookies also landed in his lap, against his chest.

This was going to be a fun night.

01ABR24 - A lista encabeçada por Francisco Calheiros para liderar a Confederação do Turismo de Portugal, em representação da Associação da Hotelaria, Restauração e Similares de Portugal - AHRESP - foi eleita para o próximo mandato de 2024 a 2027. A eleição decorreu no passado dia 27 de março de 2024, em Assembleia Geral Eleitoral, tendo a lista única que se apresentou ao ato eleitoral recebido 94,9% do número total de votos expressos. Os novos órgãos sociais para o próximo mandato têm como presidente da Mesa da Assembleia Geral, a Sociedade Grupo Pestana, SGPS, S. 01ABR24 – Como já é sabido, o Primeiro-ministro indigitado, Luís Montenegro, apresentou a composição do seu Governo ao Presidente da República, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. O desejo da Confederação do Turismo de Portugal (CTP) é que, em termos gerais, “o novo Governo dê mais atenção à economia e às empresas, dando nomeadamente prioridade ao Turismo, sendo esta uma atividade económica que é motor da economia portuguesa. Por outro lado, esperamos que exista por parte do Governo um reforço da importância e do papel da Concertação Social no âmbito de várias medidas estruturantes que são necessárias implementar”, destaca Francisco Calheiros, presidente da CTP.
