MY HEADCANONS FOR TDAC (main cast) CHARACTERS LGBTQ+ WISE cause although I don't find it important per se it still effects the way I look at the characters.
Going in alphabetical order:
Bubble- I don't necessarily see them as anything? If that makes sense. Like just unlabeled on everything, but not even calling themself 'unlabeled'. Bubble is Bubble.
Caine- AROACE. THERE NO WAY BRO ISN'T. My headcanon started immediately when I saw his face with the Moon. The absolute look of fear. That is an ace man if I've ever seen one. "Let's get outta here before the moon starts getting frisky!! o.0 " His desire to keep everything as pg as possible?? I dunno, he just gives me ace vibes ong. AND THEN- I just personally can't see him as being romantically into anyone. Like just an example, the scene in the restaurant. Typically in scenes like that in the media it's portrayed as a romantic evening/date. BUT IT WASN'T. It was him with his fucked up dog 😭 COMING BACK AFTER THE NEW EPISODE?? THAT MAN IS AROACE!!!!
Gangle- That is a nonbinary person if I've ever seen one. Demigirl perhaps?? Either way, I'm jealous of the androgyny that mfka has. I'm not too sure sexuality wise, as a multishipper. (I honestly j consume most tadc media so I'm not sure if that counts as being a multishipper lol) I would like to think that they use she/they pronouns and is maybe pansexual. (:
Jax- I was dreading doing bro. I wanna say cis man?? But I can also see agender using he/him. Gender just isn't something that concerns him. His only concern is being a little bitch. LMAO. And sexuality wise?? He's definitely got some queer flair to him. So imo Imma just say queer. :3 Like he knew he was gay to some extent?? And just stuck with the label. ALSO ADDING ON AFTER THE NEW EP, in my opinion he doesn’t have any interest in figuring out gender or sexuality, he only likes being an absolute bitch LMAO. I like him though so I GUESSSSSS it’s okay. Maybe.
Kinger- OKAY. SO. HE'S CISHET. AN ALLY. BUT CISHET. I personally hate when fandoms see a weak and/or smaller man and immediately label him as trans and/or queer. CAUSE BRO, MEN CAN BE MALEWIVES LET THEM BE!!! He's definitely the typa man to be called babygirl. Like imagine Jerma or Paul Dano, a silly cishet man who is in fact babygirl.
Pomni- BISEXUAL WOMAN. Bros got the bi-haircut. That's my only reasoning./hj But seriously?? As a bi person myself leaning toward my gender?? I can genuinely see that for her. It's canon, trust/j
Ragatha- SAPPHIC. THIS WOMAN LOVEEEESSSSSS KISSING OTHER WOMEN!!!! She loves women so much. It’s always a good day to be gay if your Ragatha.
Zooble- Non-binary. (Duh lol) But I’d like to say sexuality wise they lean more towards women. Zooble loves kissing women. Not as much as Ragatha, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.

What’s your most hated fandom characterization for each of the main 7?
hoo boy am i glad you asked. although i’m gonna be real, my issue is less with fandom characterization, because you do you i don’t give a shit, and more with how people go batty if you personally are not a fan of fanon characterizations.
like, lemme be obvious and talk about my biggest example. i am a brown eyed lance truther. we know this. the amount of weirdo comments, weirdo DMs, and weirdo asks i get is atrocious. i post a lot of them bc they’re so stupid they’re funny but the amount of people per week that tell me to kill myself is lowkey wild. the amount of people that love to say some variation of “i liked your fic but you ruined it by making lances eyes brown! his eyes are blue!” and i’ve checked other brown eyed truther’s fics — either they delete their comments better than me, or they do not get the same thing. idk what the deal is lol.
i will concede to the point that i’m a contrarian and annoying about it, but a list of the following non-fanon headcanons/characterizations i hold that have been commented on in some derisive way:
- bitchy hunk (lol)
- non “cinnamon roll too pure and baby and good for this world” hunk*
- allura is a good character (🤡)**
- allura is a sweetheart
- allura is not a drill sergeant
- kuron was a good iteration of shiro
- red paladin lance/black paladin keith/blue paladin allura
- retired shiro
- pidge is not cruel
- pidge is not an infant and can handle things a regular 14-15 year old can handle
- small details are irrelevant (think lances family, exact prekerb details, etc)
- keith gyeong and lance sanchez
- fucking brown eyed lance. i’m saying it again
- tall keith
- non omega keith***
- readmores
- autistic lance
- adhd keith
- non asshole/cruel keith
- comphetting gay lance****
- shallura
- bi shiro, demi keith, essentially any sexuality headcanon that isn’t mainstream
- hunk who isn’t food obsessed
- that’s about it
*stop infantilising hunk
**the allura hate is ridiculous and largely rooted in anti-Blackness. it should not be a fight to say that she had a reason to feel betrayed by keith’s heritage, that she did not “get in the way” of klance, that her death was stupid and ridiculous, that she is often pushed over in favour of klance (not as in she’s less popular, but that her/her death are used as a plot device to further klance), and that she is as interesting, nuanced, and multifaceted as the rest of them.
***people, inevitably, feminize characters in fandoms (largely because many people in fandom are young women, i know i feminize characters simply bc i’m making them like me and i’m feminine lol), and my issue is that people (in the general sense, not everybody) love to feminize keith and then get really mad if anyone else is feminized. this is not about fem or trans woman keith btw. this is about people omega-ifying him and then losing their MINDS if i don’t share that headcanon.
****i literally only wrote this once and then never again because people lost their minds. but as much as i love bi lance, i think it’s interesting that usually, when we see “boy crazy” or “girl crazy” characters, especially if they have a lot of chemistry or homoerotic tension with a same-gender character, people are like oh ya that’s comphetting. that character is desperately trying to outrun the gay thoughts. but with lance, who was definitely girl crazy and cared more about having a girlfriend than actually dating and falling in love (think “mrs blue lion” — he didn’t give a fuck about who he was marrying, so long that it was a girl), calling him gay will have people saying you’re erasing bisexuality. as if he was not fucking straight in the show. so.
sorry this is so bitter and ranty lol. been in a mood

Please Don’t Hate Me
I need to start by stating that I really liked the Red, White, and Royal Blue movie. The cast and crew were amazing and this was a sorely necessary movie in the queer community as far as representation goes. I am also really bad at separating a movie from its source material. So this is just an opinion on some representation, both feminine and queer, that I wish had been in the movie.
First, with the female representation. Most obviously, the fact that June was written out, Princess Catherine was absent, and Queen Mary was switched to King James III.
Even while Alex is the main character, June is the heart of the Claremont-Diaz family. Alex and Ellen are too wrapped up in caring for the nation that they can sometimes forget that they need looking after themselves.
Combine this with keeping Ellen married to Oscar (she and Oscar are too similar, but Leo took care of her) and taking away some of her more nurturing characteristics (good thing bad thing), Alex’s family seems less supportive in the movie than the book.
This is similar to the problem I have with removing Princess Catherine. Henry has Bea’s support, but with the watered down Bea, that’s almost an empty corner. Princess Catherine is what forces the Queen to support Henry and Alex, and that is the first time Henry has felt a parent’s love since his father died. It’s just so important to his story, but I can understand why it was cut.
But why did they have to water Bea down so much? I don’t need the Powder Princess scandal, but if Bea is Henry’s only support, show that she is strong enough to back him for real. Throw her in a leather jacket, send her out to a party with the group, and show an electric guitar in the corner of the music room. It didn’t have to be anything big, but give her back her fire!
Then there’s Queen Mary, which I don’t really mind the switch since it gave us Stephen Fry as King James and the prime minister was a woman. I just felt like it lost some of the symbolism of the female heads of the nations and their opposite viewpoints on FirstPrince and tradition.
Lastly, there’s Nora. I liked her, I really did, but I wish they had mentioned that she went to MIT, even just Alex calling her MIT like he does in the book. There are places of higher learning, particularly in STEM, that kept women out for far too long. It would have been a great boost to show a woman being a graduate of the most well known technical institute in the country.
The only woman I was completely satisfied with was Zahra, they kept her as tough as nails!
Before I start on queer representation, remember that I do realize how important this movie is as a mainstream representation of queer love. However:
By taking out June, they took away the June/Nora/Pez relationship. I personally think that June and Nora were in a relationship and Pez just joined in while he’s in town. But still, a polyamorous secondary relationship in a rom com would have been nice.
That also takes away Nora’s bisexuality, which is just bi erasure! (And I know Alex says he’s bi, but that scene when Zahra calls him and Henry homosexuals bothers me! It erases Alex’s bisexuality!)
Rafael Luna was a huge impact on Alex, and showing an openly gay senator would have been amazing.
I am glad that, since they only kept one secret service agent, that they kept Amy. However, I do miss Cash and his pansexual jean jacket!
Moving on to Amy, I don’t mind that they didn’t mention that she is trans, especially since she is played by a trans actress and that was only brought up in Alex’s thoughts in the book. I do wish she had brought up her wife. There was such a good window of opportunity when she and Alex are talking about her dog. “You know my wife and I named our dog Jonathan.”
The addition of Miguel Ramos brings in the “gays are evil and vindictive” stereotype. Especially considering he was the only other openly queer person in the movie
On a lighter, headcanon note, I see Bea as at least ace, if not aroace, which sucks that it wasn’t included, but it makes sense since it’s not canon. Also, Princess Catherine cuffs her jeans, so she’s obviously bi lol
Again, the book is perfection, and I love the movie in its own right too. These are just some things that were missed or added that I wish changed in the movie!

[PT: My Muses]
A simple list of all the characters I love writing for and believe I write well + the general headcanons and personality I write for em
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Danny Johnson || The Ghostface [Dead By Daylight]
★ Firstly, this is my husband. My absolute man. I will be writing about him so fucking much because I am kissing him. ★ Tall motherfucker, like easily breaks 6'2, pretty small compared to other killers though ★ I write mine as a cis dude, I love FTM headcanons for him and all but in my brain he's cis! Queer Danny supremacy tho. Uses any pronouns but usually just goes with he/him ★ Demiromantic and Bisexual, Danny "Any Hole Is A Goal" Johnson but has a hard time with romance because he very rarely if ever feels romantic attraction. (Unsure of the original source of the demiromantic bisexual flag, but i remade it from an icon i saw) ★ Has NPD (kinda canon but developers used Narcissist as an insult, too bad taking it literally) + ADHD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Michael Meyers || The Shape [Dead by Daylight + Halloween]
★ Actual fucking giant, like 7 feet tall and some change ★ Also cis, I promise there are trans headcanons here somewhere. Anyways mainly he/him but doesn't really give a fuck. ★ Completely aromantic and pansexual, no romantic attraction but very queerplatonic. Aropan flag by @/flag-mashups (link). ★ Autistic and completely nonverbal, probs some other issues but I haven't thought about it a whole lot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Amanda Young || The Pig [Dead By Daylight + Saw]
★ Lil gal (as far as killers go), 5'10 ★ Transfem MtF, She/Her and maybe sometimes They as a treat ★ Pan lesbian + Sapphic, imo she's alright with dating anyone that's not a purely cis dude. Pan lesbian flag by @/bi-lesbian (link). ★ Autistic, c-PTSD, HPD, I project onto this character hard so she gets a lot of my issues.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anna || The Huntress [Dead By Daylight]
★ TALL WOMAN 6'3 ★ Bigender Demigirl, always has a feminine connection to her gender but often times feels really masc. She/Her but still nonbinary. Bigender Demigender flag made by @/sakosai (link) ★ Pansexual ★ c-PTSD, Autistic, BPD, another character I project onto lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sadako Yamamura || The Onryō [Dead By Daylight + The Ring]
★ I WILL NOT WRITE NSFW OF THIS CHARACTER EVER don't even bother asking. ★ Itty Bitty Baby, 5'6, smallest of the killers ★ Agender, can't be bothered with it. ★ Aroace, very affectionate though! Aroace Agender flag is by @/rjalker [link] ★ Def has a personality disorder, which one? Haven't decided but something on the cluster b spectrum. Otherwise, ADHD (possibly audhd?) and comorbidities.
Others I will write for under the cut! Not as much detail, just that I would write for them if asked.

My LGBT MML headcanons
I’ve shared some of these on AO3 but not everyone has seen my AO3 so I’m putting this here
Milo is bi and nonbinary. Gender wise, nonbinary is simply the closest word he has to describe himself but otherwise describes himself as ‘just Milo’. He has no preference whatsoever for pronouns. Murphy’s Law seems to know what his gender is each day even when he doesn’t, because much like when he is sick it ebbs a bit when he feels more feminine.
I see Zack as some form of MLM. Probably questioning at the moment, though. He seems very much like the gay panic type to me (because let’s be real, he’s always panicking).
Melissa is a lesbian who HATES gender roles. I can kinda see her as being cool with she/they pronouns, but my gender headcanon for her is still uncertain.
I know the popular headcanon is that Dakota is bi, but my take is that he’s gay. I personally can’t see him being genuinely attracted to a woman, but I’m not here to judge those who can. Also his t guy swag levels are off the charts. (I am a trans guy and I want his gender so badly so the trans Dakota hc gives me so much joy)
Similar to my headcanon for Dakota, my sexuality headcanon for Cavendish goes against what I’ve seen from others and to me he’s bi. He just doesn’t realize it for a long time due to being autistic. I also love to think he’s nonbinary with a changing pronoun preference, and doesn’t conform to what cis people expect from a nonbinary person. (He keeps his first name and facial hair)
Doof is the trans and bi divorced dad icon we all need. I feel no elaboration is needed.
Now that I think about it, I see every Murphy as bi. We stan a family of disaster bis! Also, what is it with married Dwampyverse men in particular having bi wife energy? (Looking at Martin and Lawrence)
Basically, if a character has shown clear and constant heterosexual attraction, they are most likely bi to me. Also, the only person I can think of at the top of my head as 100% cishet is Orton Mahlson. My main reason being how he saw Cavendish and Dakota’s interactions and p much went “What’s better than this, just guys being dudes”
Gonna get some supporting characters all in one go so this post doesn’t get too long. Amanda is bi. Mort & Chad are gay. Elliot is pan and trans. Mr. Drako is gay and trans. Veronica is WLW. Bradley is gay and doesn’t know it. Brick and Savannah are gay and lesbian solidarity. I’m not talking about Ms. Murawski.

okay wait actually the MTF Fernsong and FTM Twigbranch anon was really right because theres even more issues with MTF Fernsong and i'm using them as a jumping off point to talk about it, because as a transmasc guy i find it actually really gross.
MTF Fernsong is a gross headcanon in concept. the only situation where i'd be okay with it is if it was a transfem person relating to the character. that's it.
the headcanon is rooted in sexism and biphobia. the biphobia bit is probably confusing so i'll get into that first-
the main reason alot of people ACTUALLY hc Fernsong as MTF is because they want Ivypool to be a lesbian. that- that's it really. it's a gross headcanon stemming from pretty tame intentions. but it really brings into question of...why can't she just be like, bi? or pan? or omni? why does her attraction HAVE to be exclusively women even when that brings in a sexist in concept headcanon?
the anon i mentioned already went into the kids thing a bit- but i will add Fernsong is in general a very feminine guy, and one of the only feminine men in warriors. people took possibly the first feminine guy in warriors and made him a trans woman. that's fucking gross.
the headcanon is accidentally biphobic at best, and intentionally sexist at worst.

Since so many characters have recently been given different gender identities, I’m curious if you have any guesses as to what future characters may have new genders as well. For me, I honestly feel like Robo-Ky may be given more ambiguous pronouns if he ever appears again, and this probably won’t happen but I feel like Zappa’s own gender identity could also change. I mean, Zappa has ghosts who possess him, that’s his whole thing. Though the fact that the main ghost who possess him, S-Ko, is a woman, I feel could lead to maybe somewhat of a gender crisis? Since while Zappa himself may not be a woman, there is more or less a woman living inside his body half the time, and honestly that’s perfect material for a genderfluid Zappa.
Zappa being genderfluid could be really cool, I agree. It would be interesting if we got a character that used it/its pronouns too, but since Zappa is like multiple people in one body, maybe it's more likely he would also use they/them (like Testament) except in a plural way instead of a singular one? There isn't really any one else on the cast where, headcanons aside, I could see them mixing up their gender identities if they came back though... But Baiken, Testament, and Bridget all having confirmed non-cis gender identities is amazing and ArcSys have said they want to add completely new characters to Strive still so we might yet get some more trans characters!! Fingers crossed ;^)
I'm really hopeful we'll get some more characters with confirmed non-hetero sexualities too. At the moment, I think we've only gotten Raven and Venom? I get they kinda wanna keep these ambiguous so people can have fun projecting/relating to them (& for shipping reasons, I guess) but so many of the characters are obviously not straight rofl. I need ArcSys to just come out and be like "yeah that homoerotic Sol/Ky art from 2005 was for real gay actually. they're both bi." Can you imagine a game where both of the main box art guys are LGBT lol
Other than Robo-Ky's like basic lore, I actually don't know him super well so I'll let someone else expand on that in the reblogs, if they'd like to.
Idk where else to put this but all of my thoughts come with Bonus DLC Thoughts™️ and it's kinda related to all this so I'll put it here, but I really genuinely love how ArcSys have been handling their LGBT, especially trans/nb, representation. Waaaayyyyy too often it boils down to being the ONLY aspect of a character's personality but with Bridget, Testament, and Baiken it's like idk the 5th most important part of their character? Most people probably don't even know about Baiken's whole "throwing away gender" thing. It's really refreshing, imo

I'm feeling like talking about genders today so my gender and sexuality headcanons for my wives!
Sayaka Maizono She's a trans woman and loves being a women. It's her favorite thing. She's also pan. She's very chill and sweet about people talking about it though, as long as they are respectful about it!
Celestia Ludenburg Trans woman who will kill you if you misgender her. She also may be FEMALE but she uses neopronouns because they are so much fun! She's an asexual moon lesbian.
Sakura Ogami Sakura is a cis female but is very supportive of everyone. She's pan.
Genocider Syo Syo is one of those characters that you could headcanon as any gender and honestly? I think they only identify with xenogenders their main one being killgender. They are cupidromantic towards males, and something else towards femles
Black Pearl Cookie Cis female bisexual. Still very cool. KInd of scared of her
Latte Cookie Cis female abrosexual lesbian. She doesn't really know about a lot about different gender expressions but they do interest her.
Feferi Peixes Femme enby! They like enby more then non-binary because it sounds squishier. She's biromantic!
Kanaya Maryam I saw transfemme Kanaya once and I adored it yes. I feel like she would also like to experiment with neopronouns, tending towards ones that remind her of bright colours and happiness. She's a lesbian
Alyx Vance Ok ok I like the idea of transfemme genderqueer Alyx because she grew up around mainly men and I thank she was just like...ok I don't want that. So she loudly said that she was a girl and no one argued with her. She is pretty funky with gender though. I think she is still questioning if she's bi or gay.
Trixie Sting Trixie is a she/him and no one can convince me otherwise. She identifies as a transfemme person but is very loose on that! She's an aroflux lesbian.

Queer headcanons in LGBT+ Fiction Podcasts
Disclaimer: I am still learning and I am human so I apologize in advance for the mistakes I make.
When the pandemic arrived I realize I was non-binary and that there wasn't that many representation in mainstream media to explore this part of my identity in a fiction realm. This led me to podcasts like "Welcome to Night Vale", "The Strange Case of Starship Iris" and "The Penumbra Podcast".
Though I know not all fiction podcasts feature queer main charaters, Wolf 359 being an example of this (we only meet Jacobi in S3 and in S4 he's still what I'll consider a secondary recurrent character). We listeners had began to see queer representation in the fiction podcast medium as the norm instead of the exception.
And that is amazing!
However with this little bubble of queer representation being the norm we need to think about how we interact with media. To be more straight -gasps- I am mainly talking about headcanons in relation to fan content and the discussions around characters' romantic, sexual and gender identity.
As queer people we have been condition by the media to project our identity in chararters with complete disregard for the canon. Which considering the amount of queer bating, coding and erasure, "What else were we meant to do?" For some this meant creating fiction podcasts with explicit queer representation, for others it meant listening to this podcasts.
However we sometimes make the mistake of taking the ways we interact with mainstream straight media and using them when interacting with queer media. Like "changing" the sexuality of our favorite characters when writing fanfiction about them.
There is a difference between a straight character and a queer charater when it comes to changing their sexual, romantic or gender identities. What is the difference? Mainly power imbalance. If you take lets say a "quote-on-quote" straight character and say "Nop, he's bisexual now". Go ahead, we got you. BUT if you have a gay character and someone says "That man is straight", all will be in outrage. Same with characters that are cis but the fandom declares are trans.
Everything good till this point.
BUT, what if a character is gay and someone says "No, I'm gonna headcanon them as bisexual". In my opinion, meanwhile you aren't making content about it, you do you. However if you are, here are some things to consider.
It puts the community against each other.
If the character is canonically gay and you make xem pansexual you could argue "Well gays get more rep than pan people," which is a truth but isn't the gays fault (most of the time). This puts the community against each other and in some ways can make a person's identity feel unvalid. Until we live in a world like where the queer agenda has been realize to its fullest, we got to stay mindfull of how we treat people's identities.
Miscommunication (misleading publicity)
Most of these podcasts are independent, made by sleep-deprived artists which are relying on YOU to promote their work, especially folks who do fanart (y'all have my heart for keeping this bubble expanding).
If you make a post of let's say Adam Hayes [gay character from the bright sessions] with a bisexual flag it might make people think Adam is bi when that is not the case, so if someone goes into the podcast looking for that bi rep and realized he isn't bisexual, it would be a downer at least. Is not queer bating of course but it is misinformation.
And yeah I know that bright sessions is one of the most popular podcasts with published books and spin-off shows however, I wrote this at night and is a character most people know, unlike Shinji [gay character from Desperado].
It might erase representation
I once read a fic in which one of my favorite non-binary characters was written as a binary trans woman even though there was trans women representation in the show. It was well written and told a very interesting take on the character but, it wasn't the character since being non-binary is part of who he was.
As I say at the begginig of this opinion article, I started listening to podcast because of my quest for non-binary representation and the fic made me feel like I had lose something. Even if the character is still banging the gender binary in canon, it make me wonder how feable are non-binary identities in the eyes of the public.
HOWEVER YOU CAN STILL PLAY WITH THE RAINBOW COLORS
What is straight? For me is someone who is this 3: cisgender, heterosexual and heteroromantic.
So in this case if you got a character who hasn't been told explicitly that is non-cis but more importantly that being cis does not inform their experience and how they interact with their other queer identities or doesn't misgender them [like with the case above] then I believe there is no harm in writing/drawing them as trans in fancontent.
-Valles Vicky : Non-binary Lesbian.
I personally think of Valles Vicky as a she/her non-binary sapphic. Which considering she is a dad like Juno is a lady I say that I got some argument here.
-Sapphic Demons
Another example is Belzagor [she/her character from Brimstone Valley Mall] . She's a very cool tech demon that lives in a queerphobic-free mall. There is a beautiful collection of fics where she is romantically paired with her other she/her counterpart Xaphan [demon of being exicted for everything]. Which makes sense in my book because all we know about her is that she uses she/her pronouns and is a god [sorta].
Pd. Misroch use your "Mom friend" powers and protect Belzagor from Hornblass in the next season. Yes? Thank you.
Now to the allo v.z. the ace part IS COMPLICATED [This whole section is to be fair].
-Caleb Michels is demisexual (and I die in this hill)
I am probably demisexual and so is Caleb [mlm character from the Bright Sessions]. He might also be demiromantic.
Why do I think I can say this?
Because it literally doesn't go against his queerness or identity. He likes boys and he still likes boys if he is demi. It doesn't detract from his identity, if anything I think it helps infrom it, and in the show there are so many instances that may me go you're demi. Or that how I justified it.
-Riley and Evelyn.
Another case is my favorite ghoul Riley [Non-binary and asexual character from Less is Morgue]. The only fics from this podcast (that I know of) is a trilogy about Riley being in a romantic relationship with their co-star Evelyn [Lesbian], which after hearing the frankestein episode I can understand the chemistry. I personally believe this characters to be in a QPR.
Riley is asexual but not aromantic (I think) so this two realities can coexist perfectly in a nice pizza delivery man. However there is an argument to be made about Evelyn being a lesbian and being portray in a relationship with a non-binary person, as I read the fic there was no misgendering of Riley thank Todd and Satan, so I take it as Evelyn's sexuality being somewhat misrepresented.
I am not a lesbian, so I don't actually get all the intersicracities of the identity. In my understanding is someone whose gender is woman or femme-aligned who feels atracction to woman or femme-aligned people. However Riley is agender, so in my limited knowdlege this is contradictory with the lesbian identity.
-Walt Pensive: Ace of Spades
Now lets talk about Walt Pensive, he is "uhhsexual" (asexual) and heteromantic.
Giving my previous cis/trans case someone could say "I declare him panromantic", but I don't think that is right. Walt being hetero informs his identity, he had a partner (girlfriend or wife? I can't remember) that die, and that of course has left him with some trauma. However, he also is ready to move on, he flirts with a woman and considers going on a date with her.
Personally I belive this can be a nice character for those who are heteromantic but queer in other ways can relate too. And adds another shade to the rainbow representation.
THIS IS AMAZINGLY COMPLICATED
To conclude, I love audio-dramas and have a tendency to over analyze everything.
Not joking though, there is a DIFFERENCE between changing the identity of a straight character and a queer one. Even more when we add the conversation between indie media v.z. mainstream and their access to marketing and how their story is presented to the general public.
That being said the rainbow has many colors and some identities (queer and less so) can coexist with one another, and in the best case inform them and make the character even more nuanced.
I belive giving this rise in queer representation, mainly in podcasts but other media too, this is a conversation we got to have to get all the nuances and the best answer there is.
Pd. Heteroromanitc aces and heterosexual aros are cool and valid. And Walt Pensive 😢, why Mx. William?

For the ask game!! 😡 🤢 🏳️‍🌈
this sequence of emojis looks so homophobic oml-
you come into my ask box on this day, the lord's day, with a homophobic sequence of emojis???
⚠️🚨 controversial takes ahead 🚨⚠️
😡 - biggest fandom pet peeve?
y'all know it's the excessive twinkification of my main mans artie but like otherwise in general i think some cosplayers rly give the fandom a bad name when acting fools in public. obviously not all cosplayers are cringe but... if the shoe fits
🤢 - what aspect of canon bugs you the most?
getting crucified for this but i think francis' name should really be spelled françois, alas it is not! lately i've been using his canon name more out of respect for hima/Compliance w canon but when i started writing again i used françois so you will see that in most of my major fics (they're just diff versions of the same name so i digress. i'm actually not that bothered by it, this is just what came to mind)
🏳️‍🌈 - favorite gender/sexuality headcanons?
bestie if you get me started on france's gender/sexuality we will be here all day and it's 5:42 am
general HC, most characters are probably bi/pan with some exceptions? for those who weren't aware from the title of my personal hellscape, and like 90% of what i write, i literally do headcanon fran babe as bigender (bio man+ trans woman) genderfluid, happy with he/him or she/her, any title is good, monsieur or madame/mademoiselle but doesn't like sir. LOVES being called arthur/alasdair's wife. theoretically pansexual but mostly androsexual/androromantic (read; will flirt with everyone but needs his Strong Man, can't see him long term romantically with a woman but that's just me)
thank u very much for the ask, i loved these Q's and if anyone wants to scream about the bearded lady u know to hit my line!!! 💖💅

happy pride month! it took me a couple weeks to figure out what i wanted to draw for it, but it’s finally done! there are two versions of it, one with just me and one with a bunch of my queer ocs (of which there are many, but i wanted to show my queer relationships specifically)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(as always, click for better image quality) descriptions of all of the characters/relationships shown (as well as myself) are below the cut!
i spent 9 and a half hours on this, so if it isn’t too much to ask, please reblog this if you like it!! it helps people see my work more than liking it does!
top right corner: the man with the blue shirt is val (he/him, bi) and his partner is kelly (he/him, gay). fun fact: these two were the first same-sex couple i ever made! i had little knowledge of how mlm experiences differ from my own at the time, and i’m still doing my best to write them with as much respect as possible, but hopefully they’re good representation (and in case anyone is wondering, val is black and kelly is latino!) :)
top right corner: the man with the blue shirt is val (he/him, bi) and his partner is kelly (he/him, gay). fun fact: these two were the first same-sex couple i ever made! i had little knowledge of how mlm experiences differ from my own at the time, and i’m still doing my best to write them with as much respect as possible, but hopefully they’re good representation (and in case anyone is wondering, val is black and kelly is latino!) :)
bottom left corner: the girl with the grey hair is grace (she/her, bi), and her partner is penny (she/her, lesbian). these two are the main characters of the story i’m currently working on, and they’re the youngest of the queer characters included in this picture (these two are 15 while the rest of them are in their early 20s). i haven’t had them as characters for as long as all of these other characters (except for maybe speckles, who i’ll talk about in a bit), but writing them (and especially their relationship) has been so much fun, i love them dearly
bottom right corner: the person in the blue binder is speckles (she/they, non-binary, bi), the person with pink hair is roxie (she/they, genderflux, pan), and the woman between the two of them is clover (she/her, bi). these three are the first polycule i’ve ever written, and it stemmed from a love triangle where speckles and clover both had feelings for roxie, and eventually i just decided “hey they should all be together” and now they are, good for them!!
also! i felt like i should say this! any character of mine who is not specified to be cis or trans can be interpreted as either, and trans headcanons are very welcome, i’d even say encouraged :) so yeah there’s that
and finally, center: since this is me, i thought i might as well introduce myself if you don’t already know who i am (or even if you do). so hello! my name is crow (and i also go by e)! i’m bi and genderfluid, and i use they/them pronouns. i’m not gonna get super deep into my personal history right now, but i’ll give some important details. i’ve known i was attracted to more than one gender for about four years now, but figuring out i was genderfluid happened a lot more recently. in fact, this is the first pride i’ve ever gotten to spend knowing my name and identity, and it feels surreal in the best way possible. i’ve known since around this time (summer) last year that i was genderfluid, but i didn’t figure out what i wanted my name to be until november of last year, and knowing it and hearing people call me it is one of the most amazing feelings i’ve ever experienced. i want to thank anyone reading this who has been a part of this journey (you know who you are, hi, i love you very much), as well as anyone who has read this far, that means a lot to me. thank you and happy pride to anyone reading this <3.

Hi! I'm sorry if you've posted about this before, but if you want to say.. I'm curious about your hc of Jonathan as trans and what might indicate it for you particularly? You've got me thinking about things I might have in common with Jonathan... ^_^
hey! to preface, at the time that i was most invested in this headcanon, we only had one season to go off of and there was very little representation of queer characters on screen (basically just people calling Will slurs in his absence).
1.) Jonathan’s dream is to go to NYU for college. This would make sense if Jonathan is a trans girl because she would want to get out of her small town to go somewhere with other people like her (or at least people who aren’t closeted). New York City is the main historic place we think of when we’re thinking about LGBT activism in the USA bc of the Stonewall Riots.
She’s wanted to go to NYU since she was six, so it’s not necessarily the main reason she wants to go there, but the fact that she’s held onto this dream so long and isn’t really interested in other big cities is what makes me want to give it a queer reading.
2.) Jonathan rants at Nancy in S1 about “thinking she’s rebelling by doing what all other suburban girls do” and living with her husband “at the end of a cul-de-sac.” I highly doubt that the Duffers think of Jonathan as trans (or even queer in any way) so this scene is aaaaaaaa little obnoxious, but I feel a lot more sympathy for Jonathan railing against the cishet nuclear family lifestyle when she’s someone who believes it’s not an option for her in the first place. (Except maybe Jonathan’s worried that Nancy will end up like Joyce when her douchebag husband leaves? That might be charitable, but I could see it.)
3.) Trans girl Jonathan makes Jancy’s dynamic like.......10x more riveting. I just Like It. Similarly to Will, Jonathan doesn’t perform masculinity very well, and while that doesn’t necessarily make a person trans, it does open up opportunities to read them as something other than cishet.
4.) This all goes a little bit wobbly with ST3 and Jancy’s argument about sexism in the workplace vs. classism and putting up with bullshit from your boss bc you NEED the job. I’m not sure how trans girl Jonathan would have responded there, but I don’t think the headcanon works quite as smoothly as it used to.
TLDR; Basically, I have no hard evidence at all and most of this just points to Jonathan as not heterosexual and not cisgender. I just think the idea of Jonathan as a bi trans woman is Neat and should be on the table.

SEND ME A CHARACTER AND I’LL DO THIS : Steph
Sexuality Headcanon : Bi
Gender Headcanon : Trans
A ship I have with said character : Cass & Tam <3
A BROTP I have with said character : Cass!! Babs!!
A NOTP I have with said character : Tim <3
A random headcanon : I like the idea of her being a nurse or doctor actually I can’t remember if it was your au or not who had her take over for Leslie but it was good
General Opinion over said character : I love her but some steph stans (not you) need to remember they’re still batting for a white and up until like?? now ? able bodied and hopefully not but it’s still being baited cishet woman over like Cass or Babs, or like Dick/Damian/Duke like be careful when you insert her there and how much y’all make them revolve around her like...also I don’t like Nightwing Steph but that’s only because it doesn’t actually make sense it’s a fun au but like...in the main continuity...why there’s a few people in front of her in Dick’s gonna give my legacy to list. but also like some fans are totally just sexist so you also need to push her harder...like..no winning...anyway Steph should only be really used to opress B & Tim <3
SEND ME A CHARACTER AND I’LL DO THIS : Cassie
Sexuality Headcanon : Lesbian
Gender Headcanon : Butch!
A ship I have with said character : CissieCassie Femme4Butch queens
A BROTP I have with said character : I miss the old yj they were friends!!!
A NOTP I have with said character : Kon..like..they’re gay
A random headcanon : avril lavigne stan, probs had racoon tails, really bad fringe...
General Opinion over said character : she’s so fun but also and I love her but she hasn’t had a real personality in like 15 years. why she’s both all the potential of a really good character and the most boring character in a cast and it’s completely sexisms fault but at what point does it become the character?? idk..either way...needs better writing but! I believe in her

Okay so... I'm making another post again about this (CW for mentions of Biphobia and transphobia):
Tumblr media
Only it's not ABOUT this but it's about what I as a queer ACTUALLY care about in terms of rep and such. Real quick I will say that as much I do agree with SOME of these being bad fancanons for being negative/stereotypical whatever I ALSO think claiming some of these as outright harmful is a bit much & grasping at straws a bit.
Anyway moving on, right now I'm seeing specific Lesbians are harassing the writer of the new Harley Quinn Comic eat, bang, kill tour because they wrote her as Bisexual... not a decision the writer made herself but something that was WRITTEN into the original show that the comic is following.
Like... I'm sorry but first things first based on facts if you know anything about Poison ivy before recent depictions she has been heavily represented/written/depicted as straight, I don't believe if she's ever 100% stated as such but... come on, no straight people were back then, media still doesn't feel the need to state characters as hetero because our society very much does the whole "assumed straight unless stated otherwise." And Poison ivy, in certain depictions ive seen at least, comes off VERY much as for the male gaze and I know lesbians are used this way often BUT this isn't as often in certain media like comics (or wasn't common) where they usually would prefer them be open to men so the demographic they care about can fantasize about being with the character.
Second, this IS definitely being fueled by racism since the writer is Black woman (not mention also queer & disabled) and so far the people responding have been white or at least one of the main ones is.
Third, this is just another one those things that to me REALLY shows how Biphobic certain parts of the Lesbian community can get.
Like I'm sorry, what I'm about to type of probably going make some upset and scream "lesbophobia" but I HAVE to share because I can't be the only one who feels this way... I feel wary around Lesbians online sometimes, not because of any stereotypes but because I've SEEN how openly, some Ive followed even in the past, are to complain about us (Bi+) people and openly explain how they DONT want to share spaces with Bi woman. Look I get wanting to hangout with people just like you, BUT its weird how quickly some Lesbians are to want to discard us and not relate to us because we possibly may like, talk about, be in relationships with men and it's even MORE weird that that's a determent to y'all even though these same types of lesbians make their whole identity/community dependant on men (I'm sorry but even if it's specifically about hating men ur still at the end of the day... making it seem like ur sexuality/community hinges on men) and not you know... loving woman.
I've seen some Lesbians complain about how they need Lesbian ('only' heavily implied) bars and how its annoying that bi woman go to them. And countless of stories of Bi woman being shunned, turned down for being Bi, no I'm not saying that is so awful Lesbians don't want to "sleep" with us (why the parentheses? eh just that I'm not going to assume ALL anyone wants to do after meeting in a bar is to fuck it's probably a good chunk of the time but not 100%) I'm saying it's pretty Biphobic, bigoted, etc to turn someone down JUST for being Bi, you obviously only have a problem with Bi people being Bi.
And also yes we do get hurt because duh its Biphobia but we also are ultimately glad to know because we wouldn't want to sleep with Biphobic people anyway we just want y'all to acknowledge it for what it is, a bigoted prejudice, no not a boundary but a Biphobic preference. I know a lot won't get that and scream "it's a boundary, it's a boundary!" and I don't know if they do this to Bi woman who say it but if this was about Trans woman they would also add "you just want to rape, coerce, harass Lesbians into sleeping with you" & usually paired with plenty of misgendering. I feel like I have seen it but only more so in terms of gold star lesbian rhetoric instead of terf rhetoric.
Either way, it just kind of sad, frustrating and annoying that Bi+, trans, etc can't DARE to bring this stuff up without being called Lesbophobic (just using this term would get me harassed & called a bigot on Twitter because it "contains a slur") because we SHOULD be allowed to bring up stuff that hurts us but we can't because LGBTQIA people seem to have this unspoken hierarchy of who gets cared about, believed, listened to first and it's definitely seems based on the order of the letters in the alphabet soup.
.
.
.
But anyway yeah, I have a hard time taking the post I shared an image of above seriously when stuff like I wrote above is going on. Yes I do think being critical of fandom in terms of bigotry is important, ESPECIALLY racism because that honestly is one of the BIGGEST problems since fandom is dominated mostly by white people (specifically women & queer people) however... I don't think the above is a decent example of that, it condenses the issues and leaves out so much needed nuance and such (yes this is cropped so it doesn't include some of the other additions to it but tbf from what I remember it didn't really add nuance, just clarifyed what the first post was doing).
For example, a Bi person headcanoning a character Bi a majority of the time should not be considered Biphobic, even if the character is a negative stereotype PLENTY of people do this as a way to reclaim the character from the bigotry that was written with it. Or the above, if someone hc's a character who is a badass as Bi there shouldn't be an issue. Now if a Bi person hc's others like the above there MIGHT be an issue then. Also, not to mention that identities intersect, if a pan ace person want to hc certain characters a certain way that could be stereotypical should we label them xphobic regardless of their identify?
I just think the original post it too vague and paints all fandom hc the same regardless of who is making them and like I said before, while this can be a problem I have more of an issue with this new trend of shutting down others hc because others claim the character even though the characters specific id is never said & thus should be open to anyone (example: Lesbians claiming its bigoted or get upset at others for hc a character as Bi that they hc as Lesbian even though the character was originally written straight or is very heavily straight coded and/or had relationships with men). Also fandoms erasing characters identities that are outright stated or implied is ALSO a huge thing I find to be more of a problem then the above post (examples: Luz Noceda from Owl house is stated by the creator as being Bi but people are calling her/them (her & her girlfriend) lesbians; another one that I feel is SORT of a problem but I also can't 100% condemn people who do this because the show doesn't help with continuing to be vague about it is Bob Belcher & him being hinted at being Bi but is erased by straight and gay(LG) fans as being straight).
Also I don't apologize for all of my examples being about Bi people, biphobia, etc because I am Bi so that is what I know and experience first and foremost!

DNI if any of these groups are in your dni:

-mogai
-people who call themselves queer
-non-bi mspecs (pan, ply, omni)
DNI if you follow (without the slashes):
-horr/ordi/rtbag (is against alternate character interpretations of Michael Myers)
-h/ack/sl/ash (is against alternate character interpretations of Michael Myers)
-xmi/chael/mye/rs (thinks that slashers loving anyone other than a cis woman is ooc, fangirls over actual real school shooters, and erases Jason’s disabilities)
Other Important Information:
-My name is Corey
-I am 24
-My main is cursed--alien
-I am nonbinary, and consider myself trans
-I am queer. I enjoy identifying with that term. I know it means odd, but I am odd. Currently, I consider myself asexual panromantic and diamoric.
-I am neurodivergent in multiple ways. I am autistic. I have ADHD (the inattentive type). I have severe generalized anxiety disorder that I’m in therapy and take meds for, and it’s also the reason I have most of my baggage, since my anxiety attacks present themselves in a way that freaks people out.
-Some more disabilities I have that I think are neurological in nature, but don’t normally fall under the neurodivergent umbrella as far as I know: Dysgraphia (handwriting is difficult to the point of sometimes being painful).  Prosopagnosia (face blindness) (I can’t recognize people by their faces, but I do know a face when I see one).
-Reframing Michael Myers’s narrative is comforting to me as a neurodivergent person who often is misunderstood by neurotypicals.
-If anyone ever needs me to tag anything, just let me know and I’ll be right on it!
Ask Etiquette:
-Anonymous mode is for shy people, people asking from sideblogs, and people without tumblr accounts. It is not for cowards to send hate and feel safe behind a lack of a username.
-Anyone can ask anything, so long as it isn’t personal. Have a question about one of my aus, fanfics, or headcanons? Feel free to ask as much as you want! Just no questions about my personal life, especially if we’re not mutuals.
Michael Myers Headcanons
- I headcanon Michael Myers as a bisexual trans man
- I also see him as a person with deep-seated issues, but ultimately still very much human and not a being of pure evil
- The idea of Michael being a dad gives me unbelievable amounts of serotonin
- Michael is kinda like a cat: quiet, often aloof, but affectionate when he wants to be
- I don't see Michael as having much in the way of impulse control; he does what he wants when he wants, consequences be damned
AUs
- Monster Breeder AU: Based on the Monster Breeder browser game, basically an excuse for me to make myerhees babies
- Malpractice-verse: Dead dove do not eat. Basically, what if the abuse that Michael had suffered in the hospital had escalated beyond just psychological.
- Halloween 420: Michael Gets Blazed: The title is kinda self-explanatory, but. Basically, Michael doesn’t kill any of Laurie’s friends because he stole some of her weed and kinda mellowed out for a while. Laurie hides Michael in her basement and he’s part of the friend group/high circle now.
- Brambles: Michael has a child with his cult/fanclub so they don’t touch Jamie.
- Michaelings: Michael has a bunch of kids from one-night stands.
- Invisible Ink: Myerhees soulmate au (to be fair, I consider them soulmates anyway, but this is an au where they’re *soulmate au* soulmates, if that makes any sense)
- Murder Siblings: Michael and Laurie bond as siblings by hunting abusive pieces of shit for sport
- Childhood Friends AU: Michael and Jason, who are the same age in this au, were friends as young children during the summer of 1963. I want that summer to be a main focus of this au, as well as their reunion in 1979.
- Catboy Mikey AU: Neko-style animal-people (aka not quite furry, more human than furry) au that also has plain humans in it. Michael is obviously a catboy, Laurie is a catgirl, and Jason is a deerboy. Catboy!Michael has some adorable kittens.
