oh you think i'm over this? no i refuse. in fact i am STILL losing it over the fact that hanya and i managed to call a metropolis reference a YEAR in advance. i have a contentious relationship with the ateez stylists bc they have produced some very......questionable work (ketchup packet seonghwa), but then sometimes their affinity for ugly hits just the right spot like it did with guerrilla. not only is the styling an excellent blend of the best of ugly skater punk and revolutionary counter culture, but the mv is full of art references that perfectly balance the idea of starting a revolution in a dystopia where art and emotions have been made illegal.

2 baddies - nct 127

wrote an extensive post about how much is happening in the 2 baddies mv, it's already appeared on my fave choreos list, i am going to be a 2 baddies apologist until the day i die and there's nothing you can do about it. clown me all you want but this is one of the best designed nct mvs since probably wayv's regular.

i have some...complicated feelings about gasoline that i'll get into in an extended post eventually, but i went back and watched the mv again for the first time in a few months and despite my complicated feelings, kibum gets it. the visual cohesion of this album is so interesting and unusual and there's so many ideas that i do love that it would be a betrayal to not have it in my top three. from the album design to costuming to all the promo material that comes out, kibum has such a strong eye and excellent ability to work with his team and i respect it so much.

panorama - lee chanhyuk

one half of akmu, chanhyuk had his solo debut and he went whole hog on doing something very holistically conceptual, down to the types of performances that he did. the album tells the story of a coma patient, and i highly recommend it as a listening experience, but the performances of panorama are exactly what i mean when i want idols to be fucking around with form. there are not that many so i'm actually going to give a brief description of each of them, because if there are any links you click on from this post, it should be these ones:

mcountdown 221020: he does the entire performance standing still with his back to the camera, including the ending fairy

music core 221022: does the entire performance with his back to the audience, staring into a mirror that is being held up by his manager

k-909 - eyewitness account: this is of one of the bsides, does the entire performance holding a glass of wine that he then dumps down his front halfway through the song

k-909 - panorama: honestly the most 'normal' of the bunch, but you can see the consistency in how he's performing and what type of aesthetic markers are acting as a throughline

inkigayo 221023: has a barber shave his whole head on stage in one take while he's singing

girls - aespa

i love aespa's techno nonsense. girls has all the flavour of a pre split tvxq mv but in a higher resolution. girls is purple line's daughter in a different colour scheme. i am not taking any criticism i'm right and you know it. the only thing it's missing is cunty yunho and honestly you could put him in there as he currently is and i wouldn't even bat an eye.

nerdy - purple kiss

yea yea obligatory purple kiss entry, i love them and while memem wasn't a hit for me nerdy MORE than made up for it. once again they had almost a month long promo period and they managed to hit a variety of different looks from reimagined alt school uniforms to overly large sweaters. nerdy is probably tied for zombie from last year for me for best styling they've ever had. also rbw stylists are the only valid stylists for knowing how to dress someone who isn't a size zero.

sparkling - chungha

i love the idea of combining bird imagery and ocean imagery. it makes zero sense logistically if you give it an ounce of thought BUT the combination of feathers and sparkles and iridescent sheen with coral and lots of bright colours are such a lush visual experience that who even cares that birds don't swim. or fish don't fly. whatever look at the sparkles.

doom du doom - p1harmony

honestly i had a bit of struggle deciding on if i wanted to include this song or back down, because they both have really fun and creative mvs, but doom du doom won out in the end because i liked the stage styling more. the mv and its broke grimy street urchin olympic theme is so weird and charming and i love that they just have a guy hanging out in the background of all the shots just to be the guitar player. the choreo's fun af and actually uses their members' skills (see my choreo post), and it's a great touch that they had a couple of different flags made and they rotate them occasionally.

hair cut - xdinary heroes

like with the p1harmony entry, i had to decide which one of their two cbs from this half of the year i wanted to include, and it was TOUGH. i loved the styling for test me and admittedly it scratches my personal itch for punky shit, i like the ideas happening in hair cut more. plus the promo material from hair cut is just chefs kiss. so many jype groups went for an alice in wonderland theme in their cbs this year and personally i preferred xh's version because at least they threw in a lot of other references that offset it from being a direct one to one concept. the edward scissorhands themed concept photos were probably some of my favourite concept photos of all time. and they also produced a very cool and fun medley film for their album highlights that really loops all their thematic references together and has some great outfits.

smartphone - yena

alright girlies pack it up, we got the definitive quirky girl fusion y2k cb, i don't wanna see anymore! i'm not a super avid follower of yena, but i really liked smiley and i like that she's got a consistent visual flavour. smartphone is a really fun blend of 00s references and retro gaming that gives it a different flavour then a lot of the y2k revival stylings that we've been seeing over the last year. although i'm not gonna lie, this cb makes me feel extra haggy, especially when she takes 'selfies' with the flip phones (for the young'uns, they did not have front cameras), but it's still very cute and fun.

runners' up

ok to start off: i have to make a category within a category, and that category is 'boy groups that vomited colours and fabrics all over the stage for three minutes', because no joke there where THREE separate cbs that had nearly identical stylings (there where actually more. i almost included bae173 here) and i honestly could not pick between any of them which i liked more. so here's the shortlist:

can't stop shining - tempest // the ogs, it was bad news that started this trend in the first place. i actually think the css styling is better than bad news, but i gotta acknowledge her trendsetting nature and also the competition was TOUGH in the back half of the year. highlights: the mv, mcountdown 220908, inkigayo 220904, show champion 220907

party rock - cravity // i was ready to be disproving bc nothing will ever be party rock anthem but the kids won me over. every single stage is just. what is happening. 10/10. highlights: music bank 221028, inkigayo 221009, inkigayo 221002, music bank 221007

drummin' - to1 // while i don't love that they booted two members (only for them to appear on boys planet), the rebrand for to1 has been really successful for me. drummin' is a fun dorky retro concept with some great choreography. they had the most themed styling of the three, which occasionally had some fun marching band inspired outfits. highlights: the show 220802, music bank 220805, mcountdown 220728

ok now that's out of the way, here's the rest of the runners' up:

play - lucy

i did actually talk about this mv briefly already, it's one of my all time favourite mvs from this year and maybe even one of my faves from the last several years. it's so stunning and heartfelt and deserves like 50 million more views.

halazia - ateez

honestly it was a toss up if i wanted to include halazia here or save it for the 2023 list because i wasn't sure what the stages were gonna look like, but now that i've seen a couple of them i'm confident this is the category i'd put it in for 2023 if i waited. i don't love the stage stylings but oh my fucking GOD the mv itself is a fucking masterpiece. the hala scarecrows...............

birthday - ten

screaming crying throwing up etc etc we all know, it's only in this category bc he didn't get to promote it other than on k-909.

forgive me - boa

screaming crying throwing up etc etc part two. the dinner table, the hats. the bloody stage. she's the queen for a reason. also only here because she didn't promote.

door - ftisland

i am not going to let any of you forget that this is a hag appreciation zone!!! also this is a great mv; it's fun, it's got great outfits, the production design is pointedly minimal. only in this category bc it's a jpn release.

hit the bass - blitzers

they went abroad and filmed in literally some of the MOST gorgeous locations i've ever fucking seen, which is what you should be doing @ kpop companies!! i'm tired of seeing stuff shot in la!!!! go to pakistan you cowards!!! they didn't make my choreo list this year but you should watch their studio choom to watch sya EAT the intro. ok here's a few stages with good styling too i guess: inkigayo 220724, the show 220726, the show 220802, mcountdown 220728

eyes on you - kangta

yea i know i'm the only kangta fan left on this webbed site and i don't care!!! this is a great mv with lot of great lighting effects and also a fantastic choice for the backup dancers costuming to include reflective taping. costume design that interplays with lighting is one of my specialties and i gotta shout it out the rare times it happens. also i'm pimp the og 90s it boy stage again, because i can and also it's a galaxy brained styling choice for him. and it has gorgeous set design.

pose - kino

gorgeous pink velvet suit, gorgeous mv that utilizes one of the most diffifult but most beautiful times to film: golden hour. he did do a stage in the pink velvet suit, but the mv is soooooooo pretty that it had to be on here.

458 - cix

for being produced with like $100 and however much it cost to rent that hawk, 458 is a fantastic bottle mv and definitely takes one of my top spots for having the most interesting combinations of imagery this year. there's a very obtuse connection to be made with the travels of dante through the circles of hell and motorsports and i wish they had played more into the idea of having driver/guide bc that could have been fun. also they should have called hajime kinoko and got hyunsuk strung up properly. it wouldn't have been that hard, he does commissions. just saying.

nabillera - hyuna

not my favourite of hyuna's showings, but she's still insane enough to make the list. love that she always greases up either herself or her dancers, or in this case, both. i'm gonna include some stages here bc the outfits are good, even though she didn't do that many: mcountdown 220721, inkigayo 220724.

birthday - red velvet

didn't love all the stylings, but the mv is a blast and the graphic design and all the concept and promo materials are soooooo good. my fave outfits are the 'candy' encrusted ones from music bank 221202.

standout element

mood trailer: awakening - trendz // this imagery literally never appeared anywhere else but this mood trailer is extremely cool.

28 reasons album trailer - seulgi // i wasn't expecting the mv to follow up on how good this trailer was, especially since it was for the album and not the mv, but damn it's good. it's so good. much better than the more half baked fairytale ideas that ended up in the mv proper.

i scanning film - nine.i // do i know what the hell is going on here? absolutely not. but the vfx are fucking CRAZY and i love how it's the intro song for the album.

you might have noticed that the standout element sections have been on the slim side this year, and that's because i'm actually gonna do a bonus post this year! since i got extremely hamstrung by the tumblr post limit, i wasn't able to showcase some of the music show stages that stuck out to me for whatever reason, so i'm going to make a post that's just dedicated to them. it won't necessarily be just stylings i thought were good, it will include good performances or nice set design or anything else that i didn't cover somewhere else. i know a lot of people don't watch music shows for whatever reason and therefore i think they miss out on a lot, so this is gonna be a fun post to highlight some of the stuff that i think is worth watching.

Chaos made Marc anxious.

So, that’s why you decided to do spring cleaning while he and the boys were at work, hoping to get most of it done before the boys returned from work. What threw all your plans out of whack was a chance spotting on facebook marketplace. The prettiest furniture you’ve ever seen in your life was for fucking free. The owners were cleaning out the house from their mom who just passed, and just wanted the furniture to go to someone who’d love it like their mom did. And boy did you love it. The style was French Louis XVI. Fucking beautiful. So, you were making room.

A lot was going to be given away with permission from your boys, and you’d be doing a lot of reorganizing of Steven’s books. A lot of trash, oh my god so much trash. On top of that, you and he possess the ability to winnow, yet, Rhysand always thought it was necessary for you to winnow together. No matter how many times you said it wasn't necessary, Rhys only ignored you, the necessity of traveling with him making you hate your life just a little bit more.

But if spending time with your family was on your top favorite things to do, game night with Azriel was on your top things to make yourself miserable. It was a common scene for the rest of the Inner Circle to see you and him screaming at each other at some point. Sometimes one of you thought the other was cheating. Sometimes you started saying the other was winning too many times and should be taken out of the game. Sometimes it was the complete opposite, "if you lose so much, maybe you should step back and stop occupying space". Tonight it wasn't different, your favorite fight was ready to start as Azriel explained the rules to the new game.

Besides the usual crackling tension between you and Azriel, this night seemed to be at its worst peak. For weeks now, both of you seemed to be on the edge with one another, even in work, your usual camaraderie was replaced with sharp remarks and piercing glares. Everyone around the table exchanged puzzled looks, uncertain of what exactly had caused this escalating feud.

Azriel couldn't understand why every word from you grated on his nerves, nor could you fathom why Azriel's mere presence felt suffocating. The build-up of unresolved emotions and unspoken desires had been simmering for days, and now, it was about to reach its boiling point.

-Well, forgive me for not blindly following you like everyone else. I'm not afraid to question things when they don't make sense! - Your eyes narrowed, jaw clenching as you shot back.

-And I'm not afraid to take action instead of endlessly debating every damn decision! - Azriel's temper flared, his wings twitching in agitation.

-I think what you're really good at is fucking my life! - Your family gasped at your words, shocked by the intensity.

-It's just a payback for every headache you give me every time you breathe near me - They quickly turned their heads to Azriel, equally shocked by his response.

-So, you two aren't going to be at each other's throats anymore? - Amren raised an eyebrow, a sly grin forming.

-Oh, we definitely will - You said when you looked back at them, your head finding its way to Azriel's shoulder.

-Just not today - He said and kissed you head, hearing some gasps from the table.

-Are we witnessing a truce? - Mor whispered to the General, who just shuddered, as confused as her.

-Let's just say we have a newfound understanding of each other - Azriel replied, you and him sharing a knowing look.

-Well, that's a relief! We were starting to wonder if you two were going to start a war right here in the Night Court - Feyre laughed, reaching out for her mate's hand.

-Glad to see you've made up. Just... maybe tone it down during future game nights? - Rhysand smiled after clearly speaking mind to mind with the Shadowsinger.

-Okay, so… the rules of the game? - Nestha questioned, her cards still secured in her hands.

-Come on, it can't be that bad, right? - All of the older members looked at Nestha with scared faces, even Rhysand, who knew exactly what happened between the two of you - Okay, apparently it is.

2009 Reference Guide to Seb's Hair(Long post w lots of pics):

I would rate these but I love every version of him too much so I cannot pick 🤭, I'll add some commentary though. This took a horrible amount of time but it was also a great excuse to download and show off a truly terrible amnt of Seb pics(I was in tears half the time bcs of cuteness agression)

0. Testing(Jerez)(February 10th-12th):

Honestly such perfect Seb hair, I find this soooo cute!!! His hair is honestly always so perfect at Jerez testing every season. I love the length and style, he looks so incredibly pretty <3

1. Australia(March 26th-29th):

And now he is...bald. I actually kinda love this hair, he's my little kiwi fruit!! But I also can't help but mourn the Jerez hair. I'm just like: why did you feel the need to go bald, Seb??? It makes him look so young!

I think the highlight of his bald era is how much he embodies the nickname "sunshine." Like the way his hair and eylashes glow in the sun??? Literally sunshine. Also it's cute to see his hair grow more fluffy

Kinda love the looks he was serving this weekend, it's just very spikey and cute(also the cunty sunglasses!!

I think most of these are from post-quali and for good reason; I love the way it looks like he has highlights in all the bottom pics

I love his scruffiness from this weekend!!! The scruffy stubble is sooooooo!!!

17. Abu Dhabi(October 29th-November 1st):

Pretty cute I think but yeah like nothing can really compete with his hair length in 2010 for me so I look at these and I'm like, ooooo growing longer!!

Conclusion: I think it's fun to get to see the process of someone's hair growing out. I've noticed that a lot of men with short hair get very consistent haircuts to keep their hair generally the same length, and I think that's so boring!! I think it's great to grow out your hair for a few months time because you get to see yourself at all the different stages and experiment with all kinds of different looks! So yeah, props to Seb for serving all kinds of looks this season!!

Also it's always interesting to me how much hair length/style and facial hair can change a person's look, but particularly how old/young they look. Like when he shaved his his head, it made him look so young. But in Brazil for example, with the longer hair and scruffy facial hair, he def looks older!

Can you believe I recently (well, over a month ago now definitely, but I'm lazy so let's ignore that) hit 5000 followers on this blog because I sure cannot. Full music video - this is exactly what it sounds like. You may request that I gif any kpop music video, however I reserve the right to choose not to gif it if it's an artist or group I don't want to gif (I won't list them, but it's a pretty standard group), or I can't find a file that lets me gif to the standard I want to keep.

Member music video - very similar to the former, you may request gifs of any single member of a group from a specific music video and I shall be at your command, although the same reservations as above apply. Since these are much faster to do than full mv sets, they are preferred over the latter.

Honestly he doesn’t strike me as a pet person…at all. Ahahah. But you know what? He’d definitely have some fancy fish in the hallway of your guys’ house. He’d want to style the decorations, pick the fish and fuss over which color they should be. It would be kinda cute. Chunkz is a busy man and I feel like he wouldn’t have any energy to also take care of another pet, but fish would be the perfect option to liven things up a bit. You wouldn’t mind either, fish are fish. Just neutral swimming-dudes, besides they do look good in a house. Also imagine getting like some funny looking fish and then naming them together, like there’d be a Chunkz and a y/n j swimming tgthr it would be fucking hilarious.

Kenny

Oh my god. I know a guineapig person when I see one. As a piggy owner I can tell you that Kenny would definitely be the perfect match. Just imagine you get a guineapig and at first he’s like questioning your choices, but after one cuddling session he’d get the hype. I swear to god he’d love having a lil piggy. Imagine him coming back home after a long day of training, getting out the guinepig and laying it on his chest. The lil guy lays down, stretches out into a long sausage (that’s what they do when they’re relaxed) and the two just lay down, chilling while Kenny strokes the lil guys head. Nah I swear this is 100% the right pet choice. Kenny = guineapig man.

Niko

Now we know Niko likes cats and he had Lil Reng, but for some reason I feel like if he were to get a pet it would be a turtle. Yes a turtle. Why? Because. It’s such a Niko thing, like he’d definitely have something unique and unusual, probably not a lizard cause those things can be scary but a turtle? So chill and cute and they live like forever. He’d definitely make an Instagram account and buy little hats and little things he can place on its shell for photos. Plus he doesn’t have to fuss around over it too much, turtles don’t really play so he wouldn’t have to worry about being busy and not be able to spend time w it 24/7.

I think this would be a surprising one. After a little thought I came to the conclusion that AJ’s perfect pet would be a parrot. HEAR ME OUT! Like remember Maverick from Logan Paul and how fucking aggressive and loud he was? That would be AJ’s pet ahahahah. Like there would be sweet moments between them, like AJ would be editing videos and the lil birdy would cuddle up in the hood of his sweater or maybe like sit on his shoulder. But most of the time it would just be a crazy duo. The parrot yelling through the house while AJ yells back for him to be quiet because he’s filming a video. AJ would definitely talk to the parrot like he would to a person. He’d also run around the house trying to hide from the cray-cray bird while it screamed and chased him around. Basically it would be chaotic but very wholesome.

Sharky

Sharky’s cuddly, cute and sweet and he’d have a pet just like him. A bunnyyyy. Tell me im wrong like imagine him building a little corner just for the bunny and designing it and making it cozy and spacious and just fussing over his lil guuuyyyy. It’d be perfect cause bunnies are active and chill at the same time, like imagine Sharky going out into the garden and letting him run around, spin and flip in the grass while he laughed and watched how funny it looked. And then inside on a rainy day he’d lay on the couch, scrolling through his phone while the bunny warmed up in the front pocket of his hoodie. Jesus this would be sooooooo cute oml I’m crying.

He hated that you were exactly the same yet judged him so hard. Except you were more sarcastic and had your own sense of dark humor.

It was when you cracked a joke about yuji and sakuna at the worst possible time that he couldn’t even fight back the way his lips quirked up, he claims it was a muscle spasm.

And maybe you arent entirely horrible and unbearable and your music taste is cool and your taste in fashion is mainly dark clothes but the way you can dress for every aesthetic— hes impressed.

He wasnt smitten by just one joke… it was also the way you smiled and looked so smug after every joke you told it was cute.

“If you stop oggling at y/n and pick a food spot that would be nice” Nobara teases and his glare is back on the girl he seen as an annoying sister.

Its the day you wear your hair in its fro running out of arm strength to wrestle it into a style you opt for it and he cant help the stare. You smell like cocoa butter, skin is sun kissed and that laugh… its soft and airy and he almost hates how sickly sweet it was. That was the laugh that was reserved for him so why were you laughing with Todo?

What could that idiotic brainless brute say that was sooooooo funny? Wait why did he care?

It didnt matter cause he was already in tow when Todo reached out to touch your hair.

“Megs wait!” The nickname was an accident but you dont miss the way the red coats the tip of his ears and he clears his throat.

You use it to your advantage everything becomes “megs this” and “megs that” and hes happy to comply.

You begin flirting in insults and your friends never know if your flirting or are actually about to brawl.

“I know how much you enjoy reading so i got you this book…maybe now instead of your spikey little head being a passageway for air it can actually hold thoughts.” You smile giving him the book ignoring the way everyones jaw is on the floor. He eyes you before picking on the one thing he knew could get you bent out of shape.

“Im suprised you were tall enough to reach this.. or smart enough to find the library.”

“One day im going to finish you and not even big ragga the opp stoppa can save you” you say holding him by the front of his shirt your noses nearly touching yet he looks completely unfazed. Actually theres an arrogant smirk on his face that nobody quite expected.

“Can you two fuck already and get it over with” Maki exhasperstes and you become visibly uncomfortable… for the rest of the entire day. Her harsh comments never bothered you, he watched you say worse stuff to her and even leave her stunned before sharing a laugh.

Its when he realizes you're asexual and those comments bother you.

He may or may not threaten to bring out mahoraga if anybody else in the group makes sexual comments around you.

“Hey megs can i wear your jacket?” You ask already wearing his black and blue motorcycle jacket over your black crop top and mini skirt hair in 2 spikey buns immitating his hair and he wants to be angry cause he hated people touching his stuff but… you called him megs. And you look hot!

He couldn’t keep his eyes off you while you danced at the bar, he told himself it was because he was the designated driver and babysitter of the group he had to make sure everyone was okay.

You looked so carefree and adorable in his jacket, he even pretends not to notice you using your ability to control shadows to get rid of a man who got to close but he did smile.

He likes feeding you— now hear me out! It happened after the club you had been super drunk and hungry and there was a late night ramen bar Yugi suggested but megumi cant help but watch the way you put at the chopsticks. He assumes you dont know how to use them and that begins the tradition of him feeding you every time you go out.

Until its every time you eat ramen… ramen becomes your favorite food.

“Does he know that she knows how to use chopsticks?”

“I-im not sure but he actually looks… happy? Lets not say anything”

He likes when you play with his hair. One day hed been sitting next to you fighting sleep and all it took was a hand in his hair your nails softly scratching his scalp and he was fast asleep on your lap. He actually wrapped his arms around your midsection locking you in so you couldn’t move.

And when yuji and Todo walk into yuji and megumis shared apartment the scowl on his face is the meanest they’ve ever seen. How dare they interrupt his quiet time with his woman?!

Its quiet when he yells that at him… but an akward silence he didnt mean to yell that he was just so exhausted from all the missions hes been on and lack of times hes been able to spend with you.

“Damn take me on a date for dinner and a movie first” you break the silence and he gives you a sheepish grin laying back on your lap trying to cover the burn of his cheeks and ears.

“You hate cliche dates like that… ill take you somewhere better” he fights the urge to stutter.

And he does he takes you to a sip and paint class where neither of you follow what the teacher painted. He painted a picture of you under the moonlight and you painted a stick figure with a bunch of letter M’s on the head for his hair.

“My hair isn’t that damn spikey!”

He hangs the picture up in his bedroom anyway making sure your signature is on it.

Megs closet is your favorite place he has so many cool things he doesn’t wear.

“You jerk the tags still on it” he scoffs seeing you in his new hoodie.

You give it back because it doesn’t smell like him anyway and opt for a beanie… and jacket.

“What? Youve worn this” “no, i tried it on”

He loves when you wear his clothes and the way it looks so big on you but youre just happy with anything that his and he doesnt understand how you can be so infatuated with him or anything involving him but its equivalant to the way he was with you.

Megumi smiles down at you completely infatuated with how cute you look in his shirt, it swallows you whole but you don’t seem to mind and he doesn’t pay much attention to the denim blue dye fading onto the collar from your hair. The denim bite was a mishap you were actually trying to dye your hair the same color as his and honestly once you told him he didn’t give a damn about the dye on his new fresh white nike tee.

“Is that my shirt?” His voice sounds annoyed but you knew better this was megs we were talking about. He always sounds annoyed and you nod cutely up at him watching as a smile builds on his face. He kisses your forehead before walking over to the kitchen ready to sneak a taste of whatever you'd been cooking.

“I'll pop your fingers with a wooden spoon so you better think twice about going in my pot” you threaten watching as he sends a disbelieving look over his shoulder.

“You know speaking of food Yuji told me you absolutely do know how to eat with chopsticks and that i don't need to feed you” he retorts ruffling his hair which you gasp at. You were going to fold yuji like origami and flick him far off to where he wouldn't be found.

“Fine…you can have a bite of the salmon” you wager but he's quick.

“What?! No,3” he tries happily walking toward the stove,

“Two and you keep feeding me with chopsticks and ill show you the fudge chocolate cake i made you for dessert” you promise watching as his face lights up.

So, this one was a pre-scheduled one. Hence the AI translation during the live itself.

As such, JK had to start at the time scheduled, and because the timing wasn't up to him, the man came to us sooooooo tired, telling us how he fell asleep and found it hard to wake up to his alarm.

But that tired feeling it kind of lingered almost throughout the whole live. He does tell us he lacks energy and I truly wonder how he managed to pull through those 2 and half hours.

And I must admit it, this live was a hard one for me to get through too. His low energy was something that effected me as well. I think it might show in this post, lol.

Not too much happened in the live. We did get a few moments worth mentioning though and a lovely lovely ending to the live as well (well a point from which JK decided it's time to end the live).

Our neuro divergent prince gets caught up in the table pattern, more so the texture (that is such an ADHD thing to do). The question I beg to ask is just how often does he actually use that table not to have noticed it by now? Seeing he's supposedly been living there since April 2022 more or less. I ask this especially as towards the end of the live he once again tries to clean the table and is thoroughly surprised that's the actual table pattern.

He was asked if he's going to go back to Jung soon - not really nice and not something that JK liked in the past. JK said no. That he's actually going to cut his hair a little more.

"Did I listen to V's album yet?"..."Did V's news go up yet?" Ahm... ok, so there is news coming (when it lands let's all act surprised).

JK says he heard a couple of V's songs. He's good. They're good. That's it.

Did someone actually ask him if he wants to eat ramen? Him just answering literally, lol. But there is no way under the sun that comment was an innocent one. Yuck. And this won't be the last of the cringe worthy comments he gets during the live. He does mention how the comments are "the same" or "the same style". And we know exactly what he is talking about. I guess that even that line was crossed in the Inkigayo live.

But he tells us not to look forward to it too much because he didn't say much, mostly ate, lol. Not true JK. Not true.

JK talks about having to go exercise but then also about how there are days when you have zero energy. He felt like that, so he finished work and stayed home all day (Question is when did he finish work and what does he mean by all day. That's actually 2 questions, lol).

his knees hurt. I guess too much JM lifting can do that to you?

30 minutes in approx. he asks if he should play music. I kind of wonder how he made it this far without the distraction of the music, cause those first 30 minutes were kinda rough (as in he's so tired and a little lackluster and pulling through not without difficulty).

And then JK goes on to say that he doesn't know if it's because he's been working and being busy

He actually says he liked resting but after going back to work, coming home from work, to an empty apartment may I add, is not great.

Ehm and maybe it's because once again he got used to having JM by his side and being alone at Brunnen is not something that he looks forward to or enjoys or wants or finds easy to do?

Asked if he will do the challenge with Mingyu. JK, ma man, you have no idea what you started with that challenge you did with Mingyu, lol. Well, obviously he did it...

JK asked in the comments if he's happy alone, answers he's not alone. I do believe he was talking about being with army. As simple as that.

JK watches his performance on BBC 1. Does some of the dance moves but he seems a little muted. Like I said, most of this live just felt like it lacked energy.

He does say how he felt bad that day, and it could be him not loving the performance (he nods with his head a couple of times).

He does have a good laugh at the shirt he's wearing - abs showing through the shirt, lol.

Ok, so JK looks up JK Seven cover and then sees AI covers, doesn't really tell us too much other than that he has heard a few and some are cool, and if you pay for it it would probably be better quality (funny to hear an artist that an AI version of themselves is cool).

And then he goes AI Jimin, which obviously popped up on his screen. Because why would it if JM wasn't part of his search logarithm to start with, lol.

Funny thing is that he looks surprised. and it's funny cause he obviously heard himself and he tells us he heard Tae, but not JM?

Maybe he preferred not to...

Or, the JM just came out because he couldn't help himself, lol.

JK talks about the Seven dance practice that was uploaded. He tells us how it was originally filmed in the Hybe practice room but he personally didn't like it. So as soon as they got to America he had them film it again.

All while he was feeling bad and achy. All while apparently there was really nothing wrong with the original recording other than him not liking it personally.

So yes folks, if anyone had doubts if this specific parallel was intended...

Other than Letter, that is. Or as the translation says Dear.Army (cannot help but wonder if JK actually calls the song by that name).

So, our millionaire tells us he doesn't game anymore now days and is trying to get rid of his computer. Ok, so first off, seriously? Selling it second hand? Could use the couple hundred dollars he'll get from it? Second off, is he not gaming at all or making do with what they have set up at JM's? Third, not playing at all, meaning not playing with Tae and his mates anymore?

Recommendations he says. "Watch funny BTS moments". JK: "I've already watched those..." Lol.

At this point, we're over an hour and a half into the live and someone in the comments mentions the Love letter from army. He is really surprised by the song being released, goes looking for it and clearly hasn't seen or heard it yet.

He is moved by the song. So much so it brings him to tears. Our adorable loving JK that loves army so much it brings him to tears.

He says he's so moved, tears just flowing.

He once again mentions he hasn't seen the song before and thanks army for the song. crying a little more. and hears it again.

Second time round he is just enjoying the song, still in the feels, puffy eyes and all.

He says he knows JM saw it, explaining there is a review on the reaction (so he saw the reaction but not the song? or is the reaction up there in his recommended, cause dah, it's a JM clip and that's what dominates his search logarithm).

At this point JK talks about how he knows he is receiving love with that song. It's lovely to receive love, and that he'll memorize the song and sing it to us... waiting for it.

He really is all feely.

Continues: "to receive a song as a present from someone it's really...it's really...rare thing to get..... My heart is getting warm..."

Yes we know babe. It's rare and wonderful and you would know, wouldn't you, given this isn't the first song you have been gifted. By the love of your life.

He asks what to do. Again suggested to watch BTS funny moments, he rejects it.

Asked if he saw Barbie movie, answered not yet, but says he does want to see it.

Bam is doing well. He has to go see Bam.

Asked in the comments if he has seen the guitar JM got "I saw it I saw it".

Then JK is suggested to watch another few army songs and he does. He loves them and is moved by them and by the fact that army have created so many songs for them.

So happy, so moved...keeps singing borahae...

And then he goes and asks "should we hear JM's Dear.Army? and starts with his Jimin search, saying his name over and over again.

Knows the words by heart. Of course.

He was watching the live version. No lyrics there. It's all him.

Like deep in the feels, closing eyes little smile, looking at camera for us to see he's loving it.

And it's not about him singing, he's kind of whispering the lyrics. It's not about singing for us, it's all for himself.

And not a word about his part in the song. Nothing.

Following that with repeating his JM chant - jm jaman jm jaman from the beginning, lol.

But he continues to sing the song. and then it's time to sleep.

like literally minutes earlier he said he's not tired. And now he asking if he should go to sleep. And it's time to go to sleep and does a little adlib with Letter, lol.

Oh, and "how would it sound if we sing JM letter in Kim Jang hoon's version?" the chicken version that is, lol.

But he doesn't go there.

He ends it all then and there.

I thought he wasn't tired.

Perhaps thought he could get on his bike and go to a certain someone that he just heard sing him a song forever...

Cause yep, man was in the feels.

Yeah, this one was tame and mostly uneventful. But we got him answering no to a marriage proposal (assuming that made his life partner very happy) and we got him watching JM sing letter and joining in, even though it wasn't for us. Oh no. That whole part was solely for himself. And once it was over he caught himself and bid us goodnight.

So all and all not one of his wild ones. I mean, JK gave us a run for our money only a day later with his flirt fest with JM while lying half naked in bed. And a couple later we had the savagery of JK after his Inkigayo pre-recording.

But we got this - his JM smile.

But, I'm back now, and with a SUPER special surprise for y'all. You're never gonna believe it, I'm joining one of my favorite artist's world tour! You might've heard of him, or maybe you've heard one of his songs, he has sooooooo many good ones after all."

You say into your Instagram live and watch as the comments pour in. Your fans almost demanding you stop teasing them and just spit it out, but you can't do that quite yet.

"You should probably stay, probably stay a couple more days, c'mon let me change your ticket home." You sing into the live, they start spamming the chat with Niall, Louis, and Zayn, but not enough of the guy you want to see.

"Who's that shadow holding me hostage, I've been here for days, who's this whisper telling me that I'm never gonna get away."

They riot chanting Niall because you and Niall are actually good friends. And he is going on tour soon for his new album "The Show". But you're still laughing and someone else is supposed to make a background appearance in your video after making a few comments to see if the fans catch it.

"But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms, and if you like having secret little rendezvous, if you like to do the things you know that we shouldn't do, then baby I'm perfect, baby I'm perfect for you."

Harry pops in the comments as you get into the chorus.

"And if you like midnight driving with the windows down and if you like going places we can't even pronounce" you sing

Harry has his first comment typed. And once you start singing it, he posts it.

"So let's start right now"

"Yo, was that Harry Styles commenting?"

"OMG IS Y/N JOINING LOT?"

The comment section continues to blow up, and even through Harry sucks at Instagram, you walked him through how to request access to a live.

"So, are you ready for your surprise yet?" You add, smiling cheekily. "He's about to go live with us, Valentines give a huge warm welcome to the Master of Fruits himself," you say, but still haven't gotten Harry's request to join. "Hold on, I'm sure he's just failing at Instagram again," you say to your fans and hit the mute button.

"H!" You holler back to your shared bedroom in his NYC apartment.

You unmute and laugh.

"Harry just texted me Valentines, he is complaining about Instagram not liking him again, Said he can't find the request button. I know, I know, weird right?"

So you mute and go black screen for a minute to "call him back"

You set him up and approve the request so he joins in, but in order to do that, you're the one holding his phone when the video feed pops up for everyone to see. And you hand it back to H.

When you turn your screen back on, the comments have blown up! Like big time!

"HOLY SHIT, ARE Y/N AND HARRY DATING?"

"THEY'RE SLEEPING TOGETHER OMG!"

"MY CELEBRITY SHIP WISH HAS COME TRUE! FINALLY!"

"FUCKING FINALLY!"

You laugh at your own moment of stupidity, and then say screw it. Harry turns his phone off and the two of you give smug smiles to your fans.

"Oops. Well I guess we fucked up that one H." You say to your phone.

Harry can't help but kiss you as you giggle and you push him away playfully.

"SO! We're getting serious again, that was not your super surprise, but I'm sure you enjoyed, and yes we are dating, we have been for almost three years now. BUT, the SUPER DUPER AWESOME SPECIAL SURPRISE IS I'M JOINING HARRY'S LOVE ON TOUR! He got so desperate, he missed me soooo much, that he actually begged and annoyed me about it until I caved."

"Ey, it was a little bit more dignified than that Val."

"Awwwww, he calls her Val!"

"Lawd, why are you two so cute?"

"I want that, I want that relationship right there."

You end the live and Harry just laughs, so are you.

Your laughing quickly turns heated as Harry rolls on top of you and pins you beneath him. Which leads to hot morning sex, after which you glance at your phone.

The headline flew and shows were sold out almost immediately, and the best part, you and Harry are free to be out and about together.

"Oops" Episode Rambles

I rewatched the episode for the sake of my rewrite post (plus I just wanted to see the final animation, credit where it's due, the show is fun to look at sometimes), and decided to share my thoughts since I haven't done that for an episode in a while:

Ngl, I'm honestly really indifferent towards Fizzmodeus, like I get that it's most people's positive for this episode but I honestly just don't care about it. I think it's because I'm so jaded to the 99% of dialogue that's sex-related to enjoy the sentimental stuff but also because it's just Bee and Vortex again, and it begs the question of why the shit Stolas' situation is so special (aside from him being Vivzie's baby) when the Sins just do whatever and either hide it poorly or don't hide it at all. Who came up with this hierarchy in the first place? Because the more we go on the more it seems like a thing that only Goetians focus on (which Ozzie should be apart of so what the fuck).

Speaking of Ozzie, I don't get why he's so nice, same with Bee. I'm not asking for everyone to be a shithead 24/7 but the concept of Hell's leaders, the ones who've created and are enabling the world of kill-or-be-killed that we've seen, being 100% friendly is just odd to me. Then again, Viv's idea of Hell is a nonstop party where they're all good unlike the EVIL BAD TOTALLY NOT GOOD angels and Adam so it doesn't surprise me. Also his whole thing about "Lust shouldn't be forced". Um? I'd get it if he were talking about LOVE, but Lust is not something I'd ever consider to be consensual in nature, especially not in Hell. That's all I'll say on the matter because it's a very serious topic, but then again, maybe I should consider myself lucky a topic that dark isn't being butchered by Vivzie. All of that said, I do like Ozzie's voice actor, he's really nice-sounding.

I don't understand what the hell happened with Fizz and Blitzo. Who the fuck was going around saying that Blitzo didn't wanna see Fizz and didn't tell Fizz that Blitzo showed up? I have to assume it was maybe Barbie or Cash (assuming Cash didn't also die in the fire). If it was Barbie I'm not entirely sure why. As far as we're aware (unless they retcon it in later) Barbie shouldn't have seen Blitzo knocking into the cake or leaving Fizz, so if she did it because their mom died, I can't see how she would know that. Maybe someone saw Blitzo and passed that on to Barbie, but the fact of the matter is I shouldn't have to Tetris-style guess and insert explanations for the episode. If any episode was going to be a full on backstory, it should've been this one, not The Circus, especially with Unhappy Campers being before this one.

On a positive note, I think those little fly-dog things are so cute in a kinda ugly way. I do think it's kind of a nice small look into Fizz's mind that he'd have one that's wheelchair-bound because he'd relate to it. Ozzie patching up Fizz was nice too, as much as I don't care for the couple, I'm glad that Fizzmodeus at leasts SHOWS the shit that Stolitz doesn't. And speaking of Stolitz, yeah Blitzo keep telling me all these things Stolas TOTALLY does for you yeah I'm sooooooo sure

And, like other people have said, Stolas was totally pointless and useless like always, and what a nice cool guy who totally isn't bad like the other Goetia when he let that lawyer guy get brutally murdered, like yeah I guess it wasn't really his place to help or anything but I don't think having him smirk and say "Get fucked, little one" is doing him any favors. I do have to wonder if they're actually gonna go through with this Crystal shit. I'm not gonna bother guessing anymore because like I said before, the show will throw a biggest, goofiest curveball at you to try and seem less predictable.

And speaking of curveballs, Crimson and Striker. That's it. That's all I gotta say on that subject. I miss Harvest Moon Festival, man. Like I'm no Striker fangirl who buys all the Striker merch and shit but damn he's so pathetic now. Why did Blitzo have to recreate the shit that happened and shoot the barrel when he could've shot Striker in the face while he was talking? Please, I need someone else on the writing team PLEASE

Anyway I think that's it for now.
