ahem. i would like to share my opinion of the brief mary content we have received lately.

shea getting sexualized and i hate it.

as a woman who likes wearing bras as if theyre crop tops and such, i dont think it's inherently sexual for a character to. but, its just the fact that mary has never until recently (unless im failing to recall like 1-2 panels) worn anything but baggy clothes and it icks me that she suddenly is and during the point she is, we get a close up of her tits. it doesnt feel like a coincidence and maybe it bothers me more than it should but i pray this isnt a slippery slope and ptj wont end up ruining her too.

I completely agree though. The latest panels that she was in (that I can recall) are just peak male gaze. Which, I don't necessarily mind - because you gotta give something to the teenage boy fans. But coupled that with how they like to write female characters... I am equally dreading and excited to see the return of our queen.

+ Before we jump into other asks. I'm still working through requests ...still in May omg. There's a few I removed such as request for explicit smut. Because 1) There are much MUCH better smut writers in the fandom 2) You'll be waiting forever 3) I don't really wanna 🥹 NSFW hc are much more fun for me.

I also find it difficult to write for canon characters that only appeared in 2 panels or whatever. We're up to our eyeballs in hot characters. I just need something MORE to build on, yknow what I'm saying?

6. Which ship fans are the most annoying?

Overall, I pray every night that I will never again be placed within the vicinity of more shippers who are anything like Starco shippers. Skin me with a cheese grater over that.

But that's not especially topical for me at the moment (and anyway, I've barely touched the Star vs. fandom since its finale, so for all I know they've calmed down since then). So in terms of a group I've encountered more recently that's gotten my nerves:

Lunter shippers.

I've been dipping my toe into the "toh critical" tag lately, for my own mental health. It's been a very cathartic experience for the most part, save for the slew of anti-Huntlow sentiments. Most of the people I've noticed decrying Huntlow are Lunter shippers. Which, I'm sorry, puts a massively different spin on any arguments they may try to dredge up against it.

Which listen. I fully acknowledge that Lunter is, thematically speaking, 100% the superior ship. And I don't just mean that when compared to Huntlow, it eclipses Lumity by a green mile. Like - yes Lumity is a massively important milestone, culturally speaking, yes it's very cute, no I'm not trying to lobby that the show would have been better without it or whatever, but I'm sorry these are the facts. Luz and Hunter had better chemistry as enemies than Luz and Amity did, and once they were on the same side they confided in each other more than Luz and Amity did. The payoff of them getting together at the end of the series would have been better than the Lumity payoff we got. ("They're siblings-!" fanon likes to interpret them as siblings; they don't share blood so this argument holds no water.)

All of this is course coming from a purely objective standpoint, you understand, because I'm very firmly Team Huntlow. Which, getting back to the point at hand, Lunter shippers apparently are aggressively against. I'm not saying they don't have valid points to their arguments (because lord knows this show turned into an incomprehensible mess by the end), but I resent that they frame those arguments as objective when they're obviously grasping at whatever they can to justify why their ship is superior. (On this note, I don't think it's a coincidence that most of the anti-Lumity sentiments I saw in the critical tag were also primarily from Lunter shippers.)

8. Common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

(Hollow Knight!)

The amount of people I see out here acting like it's even feasible that the Pale King went through all his offspring, one by one, and then chucked them into the Abyss when he deemed them "failures" is staggering. It is honestly the stupidest fucking take I've ever seen. That pit is filled with husks. There's thousands if not hundreds of thousands of them. How much time do you think this motherfucker had?

Also, he's a gotdamned bug. Who was married to someone who had to chain herself up to prevent her urge to breed. How has no one come to the conclusion that he placed their eggs in the Abyss to imbue them with Void, and then Hollow was chosen to be the vessel for the Radiance because they're the only one (seemingly) who managed to fight their way back out? That getting out was the first test they had to pass to prove their worth?

(This shit-opinion is so prevalent that it was stolen for another piece of media, and it makes just as much if not less sense there.)

10. Worst part of fanon

(Rise!)

Donnie is fucking everywhere and is used for moments that would better suit/make more sense for his brothers.

12. The unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

Considering the prevailing attitude in most of the fandom spaces I've fallen into in the last five years seems to be "if they've done something bad then they're horrible characters and don't deserve any time in fanworks unless they're getting dunked on/being a complete piece of shit!" I'd say most if not all of my faves fit for this? Soo lightning round!

Emperor skekSo: Is he one of the worst of the skeks, if not THE worst? Yes (which is a con for you people, for some reason). Does he also have some of the most humanizing motivations out of all of them, is actually very effective at redirecting the group as a whole towards a mutual goal, and unarguably has the best design? Also yes.

Pale King: First of all, what the fuck would any of you have done in his position when faced with an entity that wanted her subjects to be eternally, blindly obedient, and who then wanted revenge when you took that away from her? Even though he made untold amounts of mistakes and less than stellar decisions in his efforts to protect his kingdom, his intentions were good. Tragic, morally-grey, haunting-the-narrative characters are wonderful, actually.

Krangs 1, 2, and 3: They get absolutely no love in fanworks, but they should. They're collectively badass, their personalities and entire dynamic with each other is really entertaining and interesting, if you give it even the barest amount of effort, and the implications of what we can infer of Krang culture from them is wildly fascinating.

Philip Wittebane: Honestly at this point I think everyone should like him just because the irony of the fandom-puritans constantly shitting on him (an actual Puritan) for essentially fulfilling his role as an antagonist has long worn thin, and I'd like to make them uncomfortable.

KIKIMORA: KIKI IS FANTASTIC ALRIGHT?? She's a funny little guy, she's ruthless, she's got an abusive family (or at least mother based on the snippet we got), she'd sell you to Satan for one cornchip, she has one of the best designs in the whole show-

(Also she's proof that people are shallow as all fuck, because if she was conventionally attractive/more human-looking, she'd be a fan-favorite and have people writing essays to defend her. That's how Lilith got away with everything.)

16. You can’t understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)

(Cult of the Lamb!)

Having Narinder need to apologize to the other characters. He's the only character I see people taking the stance with. Which is especially egregious when it involves the other Bishops. It's usually something to the tune of him needing to make up for the injuries he cased them.

I'm sorry, how did the entire fandom manage to leapfrog over the fact that he only injured them because they were actively trying to imprison him?? I'd be cat-scratching at people too, no pun intended. If people are apologizing I don't think the cat should be the one made to head the line.

Also, in regards to the Bishops, I never see art/fic of the Lamb being salty towards them when they join their cult, but I see loads of art/fic of Lamb being a sadistic fucking bully to Nar over their whole debacle. And it's presented as either just a silly joke or totally justified and what Nar deserves. Fuck y'all.

23. Ship you’ve unwillingly come around to

I didn't plan on falling head-over-heels for Leuno. I even resisted a little once I first felt it pulling me down. Didn't last. Look how that turned out.

I just finished reading the byler powerpoint and honestly it scared the crap out of me. The past few weeks I have been trying to fully convince myself that Byler was never going to happen and we were just being queer baited. It has been partially a way to protect myself and prepare myself for the disappointment of it not happening. I am determined to not get my hopes up and then look like a clown come volume 2 when byler doesn’t happen. And then I read through your beautiful slide show. And I am not doing okay because it has fully convinced me that Byler has been planned from the beginning and is destined to happen. And now I’m completely terrified because I am no longer protected from the possibility of it not happening. I am praying that you are right and I feel like all the evidence you listed cannot all be a coincidence. But I’m just so used to being disappointed and my ships not becoming canon. It doesn’t help that everyone outside of tumblr basically acts like us byler shippers are delusional. So I just wanted to inform you of the way you changed my life and let you know I will personally hold you accountable and sue for emotional damages if byler does not happen. But in all honesty, Im sending lots of love your way. I do know that even if Byler doesn’t happen I will only survive it because I know I’ll have the other byler shippers to commiserate with. 💜💜💜

Hey there, how are you doing? Did you see the video of Tae and Jeannie. They’re dating and have been for sometime. What do you feel about all that? I think that’s the reason why Vmin have been acting strange lately.

Okay so let's talk about the elephant in the room.

HUGE DISCLAIMER I am not sorry for my own opinions, I am probably a terrible person and I don't care. I speak myself even if I say things people will hate me for this.

First of all, I am really disappointed and angry and sad about all this situation either if it is staged/fake or if it's true. It was horribly handled and it comes out now in a time where Tae will probably release his solo so I don't even know if this was made for good publicity or it will only ignite ship/fandom wars and for that I feel terrible for him. He already had had a lot of hate for nothing, was disrespected by the company from day 1, because that move of revealing him one day before debut why, people spent months getting to know BTS through their logs and there it is a guy who couldn't even show his face and it is put out there praying fans will accept him. But I'm digressing, my problem is that I can't let things go and I can't forget. Sue me.

Secondly, I thought the photos from last year were all photoshopped and it was cleared out. Those were so well made but again at that time I was like "how bold of them to publish those stuff and be like together like this without anyone saying anything, nor even the crew around them" so for me the situation was finished. This one for me is still very fishy fishy. Tae is very proper and acts always in a very professional way, he might have been very blunt and unspoken many times with his own thought and feelings (we know also to whom 💜) but this stunt was just unbelievable to me. Why doing it all of a sudden? I will list things that don't add up for me 1) all the story of one photographer who was there and recognized them and asked the bodyguard/manager and they said sure you can film but go up the hill so you don't bother them. 2) as someone mentioned, the audio of the video is weird, it's like this person was on a tree or something and the audio was perfect, you can hear the steps like they were 1 meter apart but everything is blurry anyway 3) the autograph part that everyone finds a the SOLID proof. Well how can we be sure those were armys and he was really Tae, to those who said that the video was said to be taken around 5pm in Paris and at that time it is not so dark, the said photographer said that in fact it happened on Monday at like 11pm but was not published for their safety. so why armys were there? 4) this is not Tae normal behaviour and this is something that could have stirred an uproar in a time where BTS are doing stuff and there has been already many problematic fan things (we lost jk lives recently like thank you mental people)

Last of all and this is my own personal problem and I don't expect people to understand, in years I got the impression that Tae was not only an ally but part of the LGBT community and that thought was very comforting. I think his personality was so unique and free that he could one day come out if he wanted of course and change that fucking medieval idea about LGBT people SK has. thank god we have Holland. Matchet/Ragus?/ Ultra Magnus x Ratchet: Yes we get it, the old man can dom now shut the fuck up. If taking your S/O to the nursing home as a date was a ship it'd be these old crotchety ass bitches. But, but, on a more serious note this ship can be so therapeutic for both mechs. These two were there way before the start of the war, they lived through it, and they knew Optimus all throughout. I imagine Ratchet would tell Magnus about Orion before his ascension to the primacy. I ain't ever been more depressed scrolling through a tag though, y'all broke bitches need whatever the fuck UltraScreen is having.

Magbee/Ultra Bumble/Ultra Magnus x Bee: I ain't ever seen two same heighted Cybertronians in a relationship, always one of'em gotta be spike suckin' height.

UltraJack/ Ultra Magnus x Wheeljack: Listen, listen, both these mechs love their solitary time and it can create so much angst, SO MUCH. Magnus feeling he must uphold his duties and Wheeljack having a mindset similar to a pirate. His spark belongs to the stars AND Magnus, but the stars will always come first. But bitch this is Ultra Magnus. We horny. We know Wheeljack is a fucking brat, and Ultra Magnus is his Dom.... baby we nasty. We nasty and there is no fucking denying that shit my GOD.

Ultrabulk/ Ultra Magnus x Bulkhead: Listen man as crazy as this might sound, I think this could work. Just like any other ship with Bulkhead you are fucking STRUGGLING though dude, you got like 5 fics you keep coming back to. You cry at night, knowing, and praying, that the gods will smile upon you and bless you with an update. You know you struggling when you only got three fics that have this ship as the focus. If y'all ban together I'm sure you can scrounge together like three pieces of fanart and a lint roller between the four of you.

UltraScream/ Ultra Magnus x Starscream: I don't see how anyone could hate this ship. Like, they literally work as really good foils to each other. You've got Magnus who is loyal as fuck, very militaristic??? And very much involved with the safety of his team. He's described as recklessly brave. Starscream on the other hand has a lot of character to work on and Magnus could help him along with that, and he can teach Magnus self preser- fucking-vation because Mr. "gets fucking chomped by a predacon for another bitchass Autobot" needs it. You're fuckass wants someone to save you, or you want to go absolutely apeshit. You are the mom friend everyone is worried about.

Ultracee/ Ultra Magnus x Arcee: Huh?? I mean like....Okaaaayy?? I mean good for you. This ship makes me feel the way that you feel when someone offers you candy you don't like, but you wouldn't mind eating it so you do. To be honest the people who ship this definitely see diamonds in places others wouldn't expect, but like you're so fucking unnessecary oh my god. Like you prolly add weird ass comments to other peoples statements, ain't nobody out here asking for an echo. Sit down.

UltraShock: ya like'em thicc don't you commanding officer Ultra Magnus? Anyway maybe y'all could team up with UltraBulk shippers and add a pile of used soda cans to the pile. Y'all are ghosts, do you even exist on this plane. My guesstimate on how many people actually ship this forreal is like 5.

I just saw a few Jon/Dany scene gifs and I gotta say. The most chemistry those two had was when he stabbed her. I'm sorry but it's true. Every time those two were trying to be romantic on screen it was just awkward. PAINFUL to watch even without the sound. How did D&D write such a bad romance? What was the point of writing it so badly and doubling down on it in interviews only to have it come off so unconvincingly?

I don’t think what they wrote and allowed Kit to act was an accident. In fact, Bryan Cogman was on Twitter defending D&D when HBO was doing their GoT marathon this year, and he said that every performance was crafted by D&D, so if we liked it, the credit was theirs. We know they would intervene and give actors instructions that didn’t make sense at the time but would in hindsight (according to EC). So, imo, there’s no way they didn’t notice that Kit looked at Gendry like this

and over the course of two seasons never once made Jon look happy around Dany. Look at his eyes in this gif, think about his interactions with Tormund, Davos, and Sansa in s7. When he wasn’t visibly annoyed with Dany, his face was very flat in comparison to those scenes. And, knowing that D&D would get what they wanted from actors whether they understood it or not, our options are that Kit delivered his side of the romance (I think EC made it clear Dany was infatuated) and they cut it for lolz, or unenthused Jon was what they wanted to give us. I don’t think D&D intended to (or believed) they delivered an epic romance.

Interviews are meant to sell a product, and for actors, to further their careers, D&D often used them to defend their decisions. Considering how self-contradictory D&D were, I think there must have been a lot of shit going on behind the scenes that altered their original plans. Or, perhaps they knew they could never make it clear what the real story was because Dany was too popular a character. Who knows. I hated jxnerys, but they should have committed to making it compelling and there were certainly ways of doing that. I’m with you in that it makes no sense for them to maintain something in interviews when we all watched the show and know better. Even jxnerys shippers said it felt like ultimately Jon didn’t care about Dany much/it was just a one night stand to him, which is simply, not something you can rest the finale of a show on.

I gripe about what they did to Jon/offer a way they could have written jxnerys better in this answer, but personally, I will always think D&D were implying Jonsa and were actually going for it at one point, and changed their minds last minute and that’s why Jxnerys was written/acted the way it was. Before s8 came out, D&D made a playlist and said, “The answer to the ending is one hundred percent hidden in the playlist choices” (link), and below are some lyrics from “Girl from the North Country,” one of those songs:

The playlist had a lot of Dark Dany songs, wolf songs, songs about power, really clear stuff if you knew about the Starks being the heroes and Dany being the final baddie. Of course, everyone argued about what was what, but several Jonsas pointed out that this song had to be a Jonsa song (no other girl would fit the lyrics, no other guy was potentially in love with her), but if it was, it meant that Jon would be parted from Sansa in the end. That was said before s8 premiered. Like the promos, the songs painted a more compelling picture of what the final season would be than what was eventually delivered, but I think if we ignore the interviews and think about what made it to our screens, the implication of it all was pretty clear.

I really liked that episode. The Loki variants were amazing, i especially liked Kid Loki, Alli Loki and more than anything CLASSIC LOKI (rip my king, know that i was screaming 'NO, PLEASE DON'T DIE' the entire scene). Sylvie, of course, AMAZING, still so much in love with her. Sorry Sylki shippers, but i can't help but hate the possibility of this relationship becoming romantic. Platonic love would be SOOO much better in my opinion. Everytime something even remotely romantic was implied, i was having a bad reaction. Sorry (not really) but it is visceral, the idea of them becoming romantic is just ... aaaarthhhhhfbfh i don't like it. AT ALL. But hey you do you. It just feels so FORCED, and in a very bad way. "buT He hAs tO LEarN tO LoVe himSelF". Yeah, he can just do that in a platonic way. A man and a woman on screen doesn't have to fall for each other... also, the idea of a romantic relationship between two variants of the same person becoming a thing before a same-gender couple just feels really really wrong, but hey, maybe it just because i'm part of the LGBTQ+ community... anyway i'm in denial about those two and i am CHOOSING to see every single one of their interaction as platonic and the ambiguity only comes from them being confused because they never had a friend before. I can only pray it'll stay this way.

Almost forgot but HELL YEAH MOBIUS YOU KING. That hug between him and Loki was so cute ❤. And his interactions with Sylvie omg yeeees, i'm living for it !!

And i know shud take it with a grain of salt but oh my God.....!!!!!!

Do you know anything about the concert thing? I've only now realised that Troye (I stan) was famous in China. Never expected it and now I'm squealing.

I was a hardcore tronnor shipper until things went south but Troye is an icon. I love him.

I am a huge Troye Sivan fan as well, and caught that tour when it was in my city. It was a great show and I also got to see Kim Petras, who opened up for him at the time. It's pretty exciting to think of GG and DD getting to enjoy that tour as well.

The fact that 'for him' was written in English on the rumor seems to increase the likelihood a bit, that it could have been referring to Troye's song. I hope it's one of those tidbits that is later verified somehow. These 🔴🟢 are always so mysterious! 💛

Vol. CXXIV

It was a love story from the very beginning.

Hello my friends! We are here again in Purgatory of Love 2.0 and the ILY that did was, but writers wanted us to think it was hahahahaa. *I hate you Dabb*.

This is a summary of my meta from episode 15x09 with some new addition.

The Break is Huge

I'm just gonna point how bad things are between Dean and Castiel.

And I want to bring back here one scene I didn't put in the previous volume...

CASTIEL: No idea. He was very distraught.

DEAN: Yeah, but what exactly did he say?

CASTIEL: "Leave. Get out. I want you dead". We didn't bond.

Castiel uses this opportunity to remind Dean his own hard words to him the day he left. And Dean's face is priceless, that swallow showing he knows exactly what he said to Castiel. But, as always, he can't just use his words to ask for forgiveness.

Things are not okay... are worse than ever.

Coming back to episode 9, at the beginning, things are still bad.

Their fights are getting wilder, Castiel is plenty hones with his own frustration and anger against Dean, and it shows. He's just tired. Dean can't believe Castiel is calling him like that just because Castiel doesn't use that words with him. This was written to show us how bad things are between them.

And they kept fighting and fighting, and Dean trying to avoid Castiel when they arrive to Purgatory...

DEAN: (...)Okay. Let's split up.

CAS: What?

DEAN: You go that way. I'll go this way. We'll meet back at the Rift, alright? We'll cover more ground. We'll better our odds.

CAS: Yeah. We'll also improve our odds of getting lost or killed. Come on.

We can see here again, how tired Castiel is about Dean's childish behavior to not be alone with Castiel and not face him as an adult in an adult conversation. Just avoid the huge elephant. Right?

If we make an analysis about these two situations, we can conclude:

The important thing here, is that Castiel is the one thinking like a strategist, taking war decision, focused on the mission. Like the soldier he is, and Dean was so unfocused, that Cas had to take the command. The first time is when he made Dean decline his plan to rescue Sam and go to Purgatory for that blossom, and the second time was when they just arrived to Purgatory, Dean wanted to go separately, and Cas shoved that idea off. And after that, he said LET'S GO, so, Commander Castiel had given an order!!!! And Dean followed it!

Dean seemed to be uncomfortable by Castiel's side, that's why he proposed him to go separated, and that's why he named Benny. He needed a third one to avoid Castiel.

Another hard conversation is the one before they went into the trap.

CAS: Well, this place will bring that out in you. Guilt. It was my fault the Leviathan got out. It was my fault we were here the first time. I carry that guilt every day.

DEAN: I know you're sorry, Cas. About Bel, about Mom.

CAS: I was talking about Jack. I already apologized to you. You just refused to hear it.

DEAN: Sorry I brought it up. Maybe if you didn't just up and leave us.

CAS: You didn't give me a choice. You couldn't forgive me. And you couldn't move on. You were too angry. I left, but you didn't stop me.

Cas was honest again... The hard quote he threw Dean, after trying to show him he was sorry because of Jack, and he already had said I'm sorry to Dean, but he didn't want to listen, Dean couldn't move on. The hard quote came after Dean played his card saying Cas left, blaming him for leaving... The hard quote from Cas was... "I LEFT, BUT YOU DIDN'T STOP ME." This was like a bomb my friends!!! Dean remained speechless again!!!!

It's as if Cas was saying... 'You wanted me to leave. That's why you didn't stop me.'

Purgatory not only brings guilt, but also, purity of heart. It's about facing your deep and repressed feelings. And that's why it had to be here where Dean had to apologize and recognize his love for the angel... even when he didn't say ILY.

Love is in the Air

The Prayer

Dean lost Castiel again. And he is literally, DESPERATE. He doesn't know what to do, because he has been walking and looking for him, but Castiel is not there.

Finally, Dean succumbs on his knees, and prays to Castiel...

DEAN: Cas? Cas, I hope you can hear me... that wherever you are, it's not too late. I should've stopped you. You're my best friend, but I just let you go. 'Cause it was easier than admitting I was wrong.

I – Ohh. I don't know why I get so angry. I just know – I know that it's – i-it's just always been there. And when things go bad, it just – it comes out. And I can't -- I can't stop it. No matter how – [Sniffles] how bad I want to, I just can't stop it. And – And I – I forgive you. Of course I forgive you. I'm sorry it took me so long – [Sniffles] I'm sorry it took me till now to say it. Cas, I'm – I'm so sorry. Man, I hope you can hear me.

The prayer exposed Dean's deep misery as a human, Dean talked about this toxic behavior, he know he acts like that, hurting people by his side, throwing his own guilt and fears against the ones he loves. He began the prayer with the last honest quote Cas told him... I SHOULD STOP YOU. When Cas left. Dean should stop him, why? BECAUSE YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND. I will stop in this quote... Dean is talking about him, he is not saying YOU ARE OUR BEST FRIEND, he is saying MY. That's a huge step, and also it is important to understand he is not saying YOU ARE LIKE A BROTHER, he is not putting Castiel in that position, as he did in episode 11x23, using the words BEST FRIEND, is a huge step for Dean.

He recognized he was angry, and he threw his crap to Cas, who had always been there.

Then he took the I'm sorry Castiel had said to him, several times, and he answered OF COURSE I FORGIVE YOU. Because how couldn't he? How couldn't he forgive Castiel? That's a huge quote there too, he is saying, no matter what Cas does or says, Dean will always forgive him, you do that just with people you love, deeply.

Then, he repeats I'm sorry a lot of times, with tears running on his face, that's heartbreaking, and that's too sincere. The huge fact is... He's kneeled down while he is asking for Castiel's forgiveness.

After this scene, we had the big Destiel reunion. They way Castiel says "You made it" to Dean and Dean confused gaze always got me. Because it's talking about the way Dean was able to find Castiel, and that was because they share a profound bond. That manifestation of their profound bond, gave me the idea about how Dean coul rescue Castiel from the Empty.

When Cas was talking how he escaped and got the blossom, Dean made this face... This is a face of someone about to jump to the pull. Anxiety, heart eyes, and tryin to encourage himself to do it. Do what? A love confession.

Dean was about to confess his love for Castiel here, I'm pretty sure right now, this was a symbolism to show the C*W won't allow this. That's why, before the last episode was aired, in the prologue in which they're showed a lot of mixed scenes and the cast was interviewed, they showed us the prayer again... because they wanted us to see DEAN SAID HE LOVED CASTIEL HERE, HE JUST DIDN'T SAY IT WITH WORD, BUT IN HIS MIND, IN HIS PRAYER. But that was not enough to us and to Dean. Because Dean needed to express his feelings and Castiel needed to hear he loved him.

That's why all the vomits, and gagging and spitting in this season, foreshadowing this moment. And it ends with Dean swallowing his words, again.

He was about to say it...

Here... What was Dean about to say? I'm sorry again??? I don't think so, he had let that very clear in his prayer, and he knows Cas heard him, because he always hears his prayers... Then? What was he about to say?? Adding the previous face we already analyzed... First the jumping into the pull face, going through some heart eyes session, now is time... For the love confession... But.. Cas avoided it...

Castiel had to avoid it because HAPPINESS, something he can't feel, yet.

Perfectly settled to hide the fact that C*W and some writers and producers didn't want Destiel to happen, right?

Cas thought Dean wanted to say I'm sorry again? No. I truly believe Cas knows what was Dean about to say.. because look...

Dean swallowed the I LOVE YOU for Castiel. He swallowed his words. Because THEY SILENCED HIM.

So, everything is solved. Castiel heard Dean's prayer in which writers want us to think he said it in the prayer. In his mind. And Castiel heard him.

But Dean couldn't close his character I Love Journey. And Castiel couldn't hear him say it back.

To Conclude:

The Destiel reunion was a beautiful hug, heart eyes, anxiety, butterflies in their stomachs, but it couldn't give Dean's character what they deserved: to express their feelings through his words.

But even so, They love each other so much, they always find each other.

George put down his glass he whimpers the music of the club was giving him a headache from hell. He steps away from his table wanting to leave the place he bumps into someone. He was a older man with bright blue eyes but his eyes were droopy looking so sad, he was tiny, smaller than George but he looked much older, George wanted to guess he's middle age but even as the lights bounce around the club, George can tell that the boy with the sad eyes is hot as fuck.

"Oh, I'm sorry." George says backing up.

The older man who had a white streak running through the side of his hair laughs a little, "Oh it's no biggie."

George looks at man over and the man did look attractive, very attractive. George blushes darkly sticking his hand out, his mouth felt like a desert, "I'm George Harrison."

"Richard Starkly. But you can call me, Ringo." he shakes his hand.

George spots the many rings on his fingers, "Damn, you fancy!"

Ringo grins showing them off in the flashing club lights, "You like?" he asks.

George nods and grabs his hand to get a closer look, "Wow you have like seven rings."

"That's good luck." Ringo tells him, "Seven is lucky number."

George smiles looking down at him, "Well hey, you want to dance?'

Ringo gives him a look, "I can't dance!''

George pauses, "Well, let me get you a drink then."

Ringo accepts the offer and the two make it to the bar, George waves the barman over. They two tell the barman what they want to drink.

"Can I see some IDs?" the barman asks.

George slides his over he's 19 about to be 20. Ringo grumbles and fishes his out nearly spilling everything out of his overfilled wallet.

George glances over Ringo is 22-years-old, not middle age this sexy hunk of a guy is only two years older than George but already looks like he has a montage, a wife, and five kids.

"So uh... What's with the white streak?" George asks once they have they gotten their drinks.

"Huh?"

George's points to his hair, "White streak?"

"Oh that?'' Ringo touches it gingerly, "I was a sickly child and I guess the stress got to me.'' he shrugs his shoulders.

"You poor baby." George says not even thinking of his wording.

Ringo grimaces a little, "I didn't mean you were a baby, that you must of.. Of... Uh...." George let the words die in his mouth as Ringo keeps staring at him like he has four heads and nine tongues.

Ringo looks like a big scary dude that could easily kill him, and George ran his mouth off and pissed the guy off greatly. Now George was going to get killed by a tiny little man that could easily use him as a dumbbell.

Ringo laughs it was a deep belly laughter, "Y-You should of been your face!!" he wheezes.

"Wha?"

"Looks like you were going to piss yourself!" he laughs wiping a tear from his eye a playful punch to the shoulder afterward.

The two drank some more and George finally got the older man onto the dance floor, Ringo could dance quite well. He danced very well, he spun George around as well nearly dropping him a few times. The two stumble back to Ringo's home giggling, something tells George to go home and leave to not go inside the home the feeling was deep inside his stomach. George stood on the porch like an idiot as Ringo unlocks the door. Everything is telling him to flee and head to his own nasty apartment in the run down part of town but does George Harrison listen? No, no he doesn't, he enters the home and shuts the door behind him. His heart drops some when a young woman either in high school or just freshly graduated exits the kitchen, Ringo hands her a fresh stack of money and she's brushing past George and out the door.

As they head upstairs George not saying a word and Ringo has his head lowered looking ashamed. As if on cue a little blob file out of a bedroom a boy of about 2.

"You have a child." George whispers watching as the dark haired child goes to his father for some bedtime love.

Once gone Ringo looks up at George, "I understand if you want to go."

So that's why Ringo wouldn't drink much, that's why he was chugging every liquid down like mad to keep the alcohol out of his system, he wasn't drunk when they danced. He was as sober as a church mouse.

"I think I'll stay." George says softly looking up at him, "You're nice."

Ringo smiles and invites George back to the bedroom, it was soft kisses and gentle touches. They didn't go far with their necking, Ringo got them some snacks and some drinks.

"You know I don't care that you have a kid. I just wish I had a heads up on it."

Ringo looks down, "Well, sorry. I didn't think I would be inviting such a pretty boy back to my house."

George blushes darkly and kisses him, "You really do know how to charm a young man don't you. "

"You're only two years younger than me." Ringo snorts taking a swig from one of the water bottles he brought.

"That's ancient to me!" George tells him giggling.

"You calling me old now?" Ringo asks a smirk on his lips.

George laughs and pulls him down cuddling him, "You're a dork."

Ringo smiles and relaxes laying his head on George's chest. He felt safe for once and he didn't know why, maybe Ringo thinks about being in the hospital his mother holding him them both praying that Ringo will live and not pass in his mother's arms.

Ringo snuggles into George's chest and tries to sleep. The soft beating of George's heart pulls him into a gentle slumber.

Have to admit that im not a Starrison shipper - the only people id say I “ship” are John and Paul, and thats cause their relationship resembled a romantic relationship so much.

But putting my own preferences asside, its a solid fic; good job! Just not my cup of tea y’know ❤️

The Untamed, episode 42 - watching notes

I was up playing partygames over discord until 3 am yesterday, so I didn't get to watch another episode. I complained about it to my friends, which in turn made them complain that I sounded like I would rather watch my "gay chinese fantasy show" than spent time with them. I contemplated saying yes, but decided to keep my friend instead :D

And we were currently in the middle of a confrontation with Jiggy (as I've been informed he's called ... what? ^^) who apparently murdered his son to keep some secret, which with how this shows is going, I wouldn't be surprised is them going full game of thrones and ... you know what I'm talking about

So apperantly this is a somewhat popular take since I've seen it on a couple of comment sections and tiktok and I'm taking inspiration from some of those comments. But I personally hate how people turn the main character into a uwu soft boy and turn him into a one dimensional character so they can ship him with everyone and create a harem for them (ex. Hinata from haikyuu I have a crush on that man and I hate seeing people portray him as a uwu innocent soft boy makes me angry ngl izuku too they did my boy so dirty) so when I heard the manga was getting adapted I was PRAYING that they wouldn't do that to Itadori because he's so badass and literally the farthest thing away from a soft boy as a matter of fact stoic and serious all the time MEGUMI 💀 has a better chance of being a soft boy that him (not saying that I see megumi like that I headcannon him as a asexual) but nope Itadori has pink hair, gojo patted his head once and nanimi smiled at him so time to make him a uwu innocent soft boy and ship him with the whole cast. I know I'm ranting at this point but with the recent events of the manga and Itadori going through some major character development I'm really scared that people will just write him off as a soft boy and not appreciate how well written and just overall GOOD his character is (like the character development in the manga omg 🙏😌) I just noticed I sound really angry and aggressive in this I'm sorry I tried to change the tone of this so many times and failed miserably

You make points that I agree with! I think fandom has a tendency to take certain character traits and exacerbate them. But I also think that there is a grain of truth to these interpretations (which is why they're so popular). Yuji is shown to be a "soft," kindhearted person, but that's only one facet of his personality. Just like gojo, he has more underneath the surface of his bubbly personality.

If I had to describe Yuji I'd say he's an especially earnest character that is very in-tune with himself and his emotions in a way that feels almost vulnerable to the readers (I adore him). You see this in the way he's literally on the verge of tears after learning that the cursed spirits he exorcised were actually humans (and then shoko reassures him that he wasn't the one that killed them god i love her) and also the part when he tells Nanami to "stay safe!" are only a few of the examples.

I think one of the problems people have (and by extension you and me anon!) with this is probably the fact that the fandom reduces yuji, who is such a multifaceted and complex character especially in the current arc where he is undergoing massive character development (along with a big dose of trauma tbh), to just this "uwu soft boy," an interpretation that not only starts to proliferate the fandom, but begins to be the only aspect of Yuji people see. Furthermore, it's done primarily by shippers just for the sake of shipping him, which is....hmm......

I also do believe that shipping is one of the reasons why fandom interpretations of characters begin to become super popular, eventually becoming "canon" in a sense.

It's shown in the manga that Yuji can have negative emotions. he gets upset and he gets angry!! And it's a disservice to the characters (and the mangaka) because people should be able to explore those parts of him too!

To end, I'd just like to say that I'm not judging anyone for anything! Fandom is to be enjoyed by everyone. And I do see the appeal in making Yuji come off as that but I do feel it's important to remember to examine characters past their fandom interpretations!

SW fandom rant

To be honest, I don't really know how or where can I start talking about this. If you aren't interested in any of the Star Wars drama that is going on then skip this post, cause its gonna be long... these goes for the SW fans we are concerned about the whole situation itself. I barely have the strength to do this and exposing my opinion about certain things makes me uncomfortable but it's been a long while since I'm keeping things to myself. There's much information I have to process so please be patient with me since I barely know how to express my emotions in the right way (that's why I'm holding myself back a lot here: it will seem I'm calm... but I'm not. I'm angry and tired at the same time).

DISNEY CANON

We all know where it all started. The Force Awakens premiere in 2015. We will start from there.

As ANY star wars movie, there will be people who liked it, people who loved it and people who hated it. And there is where some fans clash with the others. Fans who enjoy practically every movie or SW related things and those fans who demonize every movie (specially the ones from the new Disney canon) and the only thing that matters for them are the episodes IV, V, VI and the Legends canon (some of them also defend the prequel episodes I, II and III, fact which I'll talk about it later). And they bash against everyone who likes the Disney sequels.

BOI IM SCARED OF TELLING PEOPLE THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE SAGA SO FAR. And I already had problems with Legends hardcore fans.

Let me tell this straightaway... Star Wars are movies for kids. They've always been. George Lucas said it. They seem to be thirsty for feeling again what they felt when they were kids whenever a SW movie comes out but they always exit the cinema with a feeling of extreme disappointment.

I was talking about the last movie with my co workers at the beginning of the year and they complaint it was "too Disney". And that's precisely what I'm trying to explain! It's ok whether you like the sequels or not like them. Everyone has his own taste. I just find funny complaining for a whole saga originally made for kids for being "too Disney". I dont know if you get my point here.

LEGENDS CANON

Then there's those who hated the prequels, that said there was nothing worse than the phantom menace, those who hated on George Lucas for doing such a crap, but now praise the prequels because Disney is satan for them and they want the old canon back. George Lucas ended up selling SW to Disney because, he ain't no fool, he knows this fanbase is one of the most toxic and ungrateful that has ever existed. And he saw it with the prequels feedback... Then they now have the guts to demand him to continue the old canon? Smells like hypocrite-crying fanboys to me.

My whole point is....It's ok if you are a new/Disney sequels fan, it's ok if you are a prequels fan, it's ok if you are a SW original movies fan, Legends canon fan, OG fan, casual fan, hardcore fan... as always you understand that not everyone will agree with your point of view, not everyone will like or think the same way as you do, or live SW the same way as you do. There's a difference between respecting and agreeing with, concepts which sometimes get mixed and taken as the same thing, which is not. Respect other fans mean "I don't agree with you but I know how much this means for you, so I won't intentionally mock you" WHICH THING LEADS US TO THE NEXT TOPIC:

JOHN BOYEGA

Man. I dont know. He's a full grown up man and he's behaving like a 5 yo on his social media...... John is the actor who gives life to Finn (the ex stormtrooper). It all started with this sexist comment he responded to a fan in his IG.

Then people (naturally) got offended, specially reylos. But instead of apologizing he kept on going, remarked what he said and also did a video to mock the reylo community.

You think I'm only defending a ship here but no. Its bigger than that. He has the right to feel left out in this saga because I agree with him IN THAT FACT. He is probably the actor which is more into the SW world, he was always a big fan (of the whole cast I mean). Thats why fans love him do much. And I did love him too. And he (naturally) wanted to have more spotlight on this saga ( I think Finn was one of the most wasted characters of these movies tbh) But instead of taking it the mature way he's having a tantrum on his IG because Finnrey did not become a real thing, he's trolling reylos and encouraging SW haters and antis to bully them whose are already having a hard time with TROS end (which I'll talk about later because I dont like their attitude about it either).

And it's not just raise the hate on shippers thing dude you could just apologize because you said something sexist and offended a lot of people who ship reylo and really means a thing for them. The whole thing that the greatest achievement a man can have with a woman is sex is just DISGUSTING. Rey kissed Ben but now he's gone Finn has the road clear and can fuck her? BRUH.

This is all so wrong and he was the one who started it.

ADAM DRIVER

I'm really relieved Adam does not have any social media because omg I would be suffering so much rn...

I honestly have never emotionally connected with an actor so much as I did with him. His whole acting is so good and I could really notice on this last movie. I'm starting to watch his other movies. And not just his acting, he's so professional off camera too.

I'm really happy and proud of him for his Oscar nomination, he really deserves it TT

But I'm worried this whole John Boyega thing affects him. Idk how I would feel if I were in his shoes, if my coworker was saying those things on social media and then smile at me like nothing is happening. But honestly what hurts me the most is he's having a worse time with "reylos".. I think the rumors of him having an affair with Daisy Ridley was what messed things up. I honestly dont know if its true, I've got some info but it's hard to believe. Because there are so many haters manipulating fake info that I dont trust anything and anyone anymore.

REYLOS AND DAIVERS

BOI OH BOI

This is gonna be hard....

First of all, I don't consider Daivers (Daisy x Adam shippers) as part of the reylo community. I'm sorry. But its fucking disgusting you going to demand Adam to divorce from his wife, abandon his son and then start dating Daisy because of this rumor or because you can't separate fiction from reality.... I read he even recieved death threats ARE WE NUTS??? They (Adam and Daisy) having a good chemistry working together doesn't mean they are in love, kids...

Driver has an awesome wife and a lovely son. Daisy is currently dating someone.

Infidelity is gross. No more. And I would be so disappointed at them if this turns out to be true. But seeing all what's happening around the actors and specially having all this haters out there... I'll say this was all false information.

Daiver is not real and won't be. So stick only to the fictional ship.....

About Reylo itself. I find REALLY funny how people who dont know shit about what this ship means say it's an abusive relationship. Bullshit. I wouldn't be shipping them if so.

Also the people still stating it's not real/canon hiding themselves behind the "Ben solo is dead lol" argument. Do you stop loving someone when they die?

Yes, they love each other. No, it wasn't always reciprocated love. They started being enemies in the force awakens, friends who understood and cared for each other through force dyad in the last jedi and ended up being lovers at the end of the rise of Skywalker. Rey wants to revenge her family (her falling to the dark side) but also wants Ben Solo back, and he wants to be the most powerful leader on the galaxy and still being kylo ren. But they eventually meet in the middle between light and dark and Leia finally reaches out to him to make him turn to the light.That's their fight. That's the angst. That's the tea. "No one is ever really gone" there's always hope. Star Wars is centered in HOPE. And their story represents it at its finest.

NOW. The reylo community.

Despite you liked it or not the end they gave to the saga... I think JJ Abrams doesn't deserve all the hate he's receiving... he probably did a lot of things wrong but seriously... just stop. Not only from reylos but the whole fandom.

Sending hate won't lead to anything now...

I enjoyed The rise of Skywalker. Indeed I spent half of the movie crying and I loved it.

You can cry as much as you want the loss of Ben (although I have hope for him still being alive in a way, there are plenty of theories) but that doesn't give you the right to death threat JJ. And I think I'll stop here cause I'm already tired.

Everyone has their own taste, preferences, favourite characters, ships, whatever. I pray for people stop judging others for their tastes, specially in this cursed fanbase. Sorry if I ever misbehaved trying to defend what I think or like. I just want this place to be supportive and safe for everyone and everything what's happening is not helping... We are all SW fans and that's our connection point. Dont discredit others for having another point of view...

Jisoo wakes up in the morning just before his alarm, sighing as he sees the snow falling gently outside

Yesterday’s lesson had gone considerably better, although Jisoo still ended up crashing into multiple piles of snow, netting and well… Jeonghan (yes, again)

It wasn’t his fault, okay?! The girls wanted to go on a ski lift on their own, so Jisoo and Jeonghan were seated behind, together. Eunwoo had struggled a little getting off the lift, shrieking with glee as she whooshed gracefully round the corner

Jisoo on the other hand, panicked. He got off the lift and focused so hard on not crashing, he didn’t realize that he’d cornered Jeonghan into the padded pillar that supported the ski lift

Jeonghan hits the pillar with a muted thud, and Jisoo turns around in another bout of panic, because oh my gOD i juST senT JeongHAn INTO A PILLAR –

He’d obviously crashed right after that, nearly (actually) faceplanting at the feet of his cackling daughters, who made absolutely no move to help him up.

Despite the incident, Jeonghan had invited him and his daughters for dinner, treating them to some of the freshest grilled trout Jisoo had ever eaten

Jisoo sighs. He doesn’t want to go home. He wants to stay here, cuddled up with his daughters and his new (hopefully mutual) love interest

But he’s also really thankful it’s the last day of their little ski getaway. As much as it makes his girls happy, and as much as he enjoys spending time with Jeonghan, he’s too old to be bad at something like snowboarding

(He’s not really that old he’s just exhausted and embarrassed of all the bruises and teasing he’s gotten in the last three days)

The girls wake up excitedly, but it quickly turns sour when they realize it’s their last day on the slopes. Jisoo wants them to enjoy it, but it’s hard when they’re both throwing a tantrum about not getting to go back out again tomorrow

Jeonghan, on the other hand, would rather cancel their last snowboarding lesson in favour of just spending the day with Jisoo and his beautiful girls. He wants to be a part of their little family dynamic

It’s an odd feeling. He’s had boyfriends (and girlfriends) before, but he’s never fallen this hard, this fast. It’s… well, terrifying. He’s afraid that his infatuation with Jisoo is just that, and he really doesn’t want it to be

It’s ten minutes from the start of their lesson when they hear a deafening CRACK! and everyone jumps, some shouting in surprise

Jisoo immediately fears the worst, frowning when the girls point excitedly at how the snow is making swirlies in the sky

He has a hunch that the girls are about to be even more upset than they were this morning (regular snowfall does not make any kind of swirlies in the sky)

True enough, he spots Jeonghan walking towards them, looking unusually serious. The girls are oblivious, faces pressed to the window as they watch the snowstorm create patterns they’ve never seen.

“I’m so sorry Jisoo,” Jeonghan murmurs quietly, glancing forlornly at the twins. “The snowstorm is wrecking havoc outside,” he whispers

Jisoo’s heart sinks into his stomach

They both silently watch the girls marvel at the gradually worsening storm, until all they can see is a sheet white

Nayoung’s the first one to realize something’s wrong, tugging at Jeonghan’s pants quietly. “Ssaem, is it dangerous to go outside?” she asks, bottom lip quivering as the possibility (reality) sets in

Jeonghan takes a deep breath, lifting Nayoung into his lap for a cuddle. Jisoo sits Eunwoo in his lap, and tries to comfort her as they break the news as gently as they can

The girls are inconsolable, and Jisoo feels worse than when that woman walked out of his life

He hates seeing his princesses upset, and hates even more that there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it

Jeonghan, as of late it seems, wipes away the girls’ tears and smiles gently – Angelically, Jisoo thinks, suppressing a fond sigh when his daughters’ wailing is almost immediately reduced to sniffles

“Don’t be too upset, it means you get one extra lesson with ssaem for free!” he beams at the girls, and they blink up at him, confused

Jisoo laughs, resting his hand over Jeonghan’s, warmth bubbling when he curls his fingers around Jisoo’s own

“What Jeonghan is trying to say is, because we can’t snowboard today, it means we can come back another weekend,” he explains, and the twin gasps almost make the awful snowstorm outside worth it

“You can come every weekend if you want,” Jeonghan grins cheekily, and Jisoo glares playfully at the blonde instructor

“Only if you’re willing to take time off to spend with us,” he answers sweetly, too-sweet grin gracing his handsome features, and Jeonghan snorts so hard he nearly chokes

“Anything for you and these princesses,” he agrees, ruffling both girls’ hair, grinning wider when they look at him adoringly

“Besides, now that snowboarding’s out, how bout we play some games? I saw some board games in your room last night,” Jeonghan singongs

(in that moment, Jisoo knew he was royally fucked. It’s impossible to love someone in only three days… right????)

Jisoo’s pretty much yanked out of his seat as the girls haul ass back to their room, chattering excitedly about beating Hannie samchon (when the hell did he go from ssaem to samchon?!) in Monopoly and UNO

(Jeonghan does lose consistently, but only because he can’t find it in him to win after everything that’s happened)

The girls are tired out by four, curled up in bed with each other, and both men slump onto the sofa, breathing a sigh of relief

“You’re so good with them,” Jisoo murmurs, curling up into Jeonghan’s side. It’s warm, and Jeonghan’s comfortable, and Jisoo’s almost ready for his own little nap

Jeonghan laughs quietly, pressing a fond kiss to Jisoo’s hair. “Only because you raised them well,” he hums. “By the way, you should come stay with me when you come up from Seoul, it’ll save you some money too.”

Jeonghan’s hoping, praying it doesn’t come off as being too forward. The last thing he wants is to scare the single father away. Jisoo grins, leaning up to kiss Jeonghan softly

“I’d love that,” he whispers, and Jeonghan kisses Jisoo again, just cos he can

The rest of winter goes like that, with Jisoo driving up to the ski resort and spending the weekend with Jeonghan

The girls are ecstatic to play in the soft, fluffy snow every weekend, even sneaking in some lessons on the slopes

(On those days, Jisoo sits safely in a café, away from the bruises and accidents, sipping his coffee and reading a book)

Jeonghan finishes his season early for the first time since he started working, much to the surprise of everyone literally no one at the ski resort

It was the girls’ last weekend at the resort before school started, and Jeonghan wanted to spend more… private time with Jisoo

They had spent the day making snowangels with the girls, which somehow evolved into an intense snowball fight

After exhausting themselves throwing balls of frozen water at each other, and some much needed hot showers, they’re seated around the table with hot chocolates and fried chicken on the table

It’s peaceful, and Jisoo couldn’t be more content. Jeonghan just fit with their little family, and the thought fills him with a happiness he never thought he’d find again …

“Hey, hannie, wanna come with us to see the cherry blossoms?”

“Fuck yes”

“SAMCHON SAID A BAD WORD!!!”

“DADDY!!!!! SAMCHON SAID THE WORD!!”

“JEONGHAN!!! LANGUAGE!!”

… somewhat peaceful, at least
