While the Epic Mickey video game is getting a remastered version (and that's a good thing, because that video game is really underrated), it's a shame that Disney canceled a video game project called Epic Donald for stupid reasons. It would be like Epic Mickey (spin-off to be exact), but Donald would star as the hero who saves Duckburg from various troubles and villains. Donald would be like Indiana Jones, but you should know that Indiana Jones was modeled after the Carl Barks comics and the adventures of Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck and Huey, Dewey and Louie.

That game would be based on the Carl Barks comics with some references from the OG Ducktales and in addition to Donald, there would be Scrooge McDuck, Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, Gyro Gearloose, Magica de Spell, Launchpad McQuack, Beagle Boys, Gladstone Gander and other characters (with appearances by Goofy and Mickey). And these are some of the concepts for this game which was specially left by one of the last current American writers and artists for Donald Duck comics Patrick Pat Block. It was also planned to realize the video game Epic Mickey Racers in which famous Disney heroes would race, and one of them would be Scrooge McDuck who would ride a motorcycle together with Donald's nephews. This sounds familiar, doesn't it?

It's a great shame that they canceled this video game (especially after Ducktales Remastered Game), because if they had realized it, they would have realized how much they could do with Donald Duck, his family and friends, and the comic book material, which there is a lot of, and people, through the video game, could be interested. for Carl Barks comics, as well as other comics by other authors, especially in America where interest in Donald Duck comics has declined since the 1980s era. In Europe he would be even more popular because Donald is a much more popular character than Mickey (which is not to say that Mickey doesn't have a role in his comics, especially look at Egmont and the Italian comics) and has a significant role in those comics. I have a feeling that American Disney has a lot of intolerance towards Disney comics, which is unfortunate. Shame on you Disney!

I wish that this idea and this video game could be realized and that Donald could be restored to his old reputation. This is just my opinion.

Princess Zara Backstory

So a while back someone asked if I had a backstory for Princess Zara from the videogame Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey

I didn't at the time but thinking it over since I think I've found a good fit within my DisneyVerse

I knew I wanted to do a take on Zelena from OUAT since I already had her parents and sister, but since Theodora from Oz the Great and Powerful is the DisneyVerse version of the Wicked Witch of the West she couldn't be that, but I think Zara fits nicely. Greek color scheme, Z name, motivated by jealousy, ect.

So in my DisneyVerse Zara is the second child of Corinne and Henri, unexpected and unplanned as they meant to have no further children who could be in danger from a vengeful Rumplestiltskin, per the terms of their last bargain

Desperate to keep her safe, they end up meeting the Enchantress through her friendship with Hélène, and she agrees to take the child under her care to hide her from Rumplestiltskin, knowing it might be her only chance

Zara is brought up ignorant of her past under the Enchantress's rather cold care--she never was very good with children-- and is a lonely, often angry, little girl, who dreams of another life, one where she feels important and wanted, often lashing out against her distant guardian in order to gain her attention

When she exhibits a talent for magic, she hopes this will bring the Enchantress to pay more attention to her, or at least bring her esteem in the eyes of others

But though the Enchantress trains her somewhat, she is still critical of how Zara's temper gets away from her ('refusing to learn those Princess Virtues')

Eventually, fed up with her life, Zara uses her magic to run away from the Enchantress's magically hidden home--which unfortunately leads her right into the clutches of Rumplestiltskin

The imp tells her a twisted version of her origin, making her believe her mother abandoned her in favor of her sister Princess Regine

Heartbroken and bitter over what she sees as her stolen life, Zara begins to learn dark magic from the imp, and soon begins her vendetta of ensuring that if she can't be a princess, no one can…

Happy late 95th birthday, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit! Happy late 92nd birthday, Pluto the Dog!

Even though I'm late, I'm definitely posting about two underrated main Disney characters.

First, Oswald. On September 5, 1927, Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney while working for Universal made a classic short called “Trolley Troubles” and it featured Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and his girlfriend Ortensia the Cat for the first time. Oswald appears several times in the classic shorts, but poor relations between Iwerks and Disney led to Oswald not appearing again. However, he appeared until 1938. Yes, Oswald was owned by Universal until the early 21st century until Disney bought out the character as well as Ortensia and their cartoons. In 2006 to be exact, Disney bought the ownership of Oswald and his cartoons. Oswald reprises his role in the video game Epic Mickey. There he teams up with Mickey together and they defeat the Phantom Blot and save the world and Oswald meets Ortensia the Cat again. Of course Oswald has a lot of children and nephews and nieces, even over 400, considering that Oswald is a rabbit, you know why.

Pluto the dog, which will later be named after him as a former planet, and now a white dwarf in the solar system, is certainly one of the most important Disney characters, but it is also underrated. Certainly, he is Mickey's main dog and pet, although there are moments when Donald Duck also keeps Pluto as his pet. Pluto the Dog is created by Walt Disney in the classic short called "The Chain Gang", and later in The Picnic and The Moose Hunt. First a mischievous, dissatisfied and fearful dog, then a friendly and in love dog went through full development and was a lot in classic shorts, mostly after Donald and Goofy. Of course, he has his family and girlfriends as well as his rival and interesting little friends. Yes, on September 5, 1930, he appears. So I wish him and Oswald a very happy birthday!

Maui Mallard (Donald Duck as a Secret Detective and Super Ninja) and his student (more precisely his nephew) in action

Sequel Donald Duck in other action roles, also the last third part, but this time as Detective Maui Mallard, with his nephew Dewey. I haven’t done this in a long time, but now I’m doing it again. However, this is only a part of what concerns Donald Duck, who plays the role of a superhero and a secret spy and ninja, not to mention, and who will surely have to give some things to his nephews. This is just my AU part of the story.

This time with Maui Mallard. Maui Mallard is actually Donald Duck who is a detective who wears a Hawaiian shirt and looks like Thomas Magnum from that detective series, Magnum, P.I. who fights crime and solves mysteries. Donald also knows various martial arts as Maui Mallard and he is a super ninja. Yes, if anyone has played Maui Mallard, they know what I'm talking about. Maui Mallard also has a type of Gas Gun-like pistol that Darkwing Duck has. There, Maui Mallard fights against a haunted shaman who has occupied the island and with the help of strange duck natives there on a Pacific island, he wants to rule that island and then the whole world with the help of a strong mighty Shabuhm Shabuhm idol. Without that idol, the island could explode with the help of a powerful volcano, and Maui Mallard is helping some of the endangered duck natives to save the island. In the end, he defeats the cursed shaman and returns that idol to his place and marries a princess named Hernae, who is the acolyte sorceress of the Temple of Shabuhm Shabuhm. Don’t worry maybe Donald won’t marry her in the end, yet he’s in a relationship with Daisy. Or maybe Hernae is that Daisy? But it doesn't matter now. Just don’t tell Daisy that Donald is in a love affair with Princess Hernae.

Interestingly, Maui Mallard, the video game came out at the same time as the Quack Pack series (1995 and 1996) where Donald also wears a Hawaiian shirt. However, I heard somewhere that there were plans to make Maui Mallard an animated series, but it didn't happen. I find it strange that there was absolutely no episode of the Quack Pack series where there could be a reference to Maui Mallard, given some tropical themes and backgrounds as well as some action, and Donald wore a similar Hawaiian shirt, only with different colors for the difference in the video game Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow. Certainly, this is also dedicated to the belated jubilee related to Maui Mallard, who is celebrating over 25 years of the game's origin.

After Louie as Pk Junior (Paperinik-Pk-Duck Avenger) and Huey Duck as Double Huey (Double Duck), now it's Dewey Duck's turn to be like a superhero or something like a detective or a secret spy. This time Dewey is now like a super ninja, like Maui Mallard and trying with a closed belt around his eyes to spot various dangers and fight it. His Donald will learn the various skills that Dewey must master and I am sure he will master that, as Dewey is certainly an intelligent boy. This is definitely part of my Quack Pack AU, in which Donald's nephews take special roles as superheroes / secret spies / detectives taking inspiration from various comics, the Quack Pack series itself as well as video games, especially Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow. Dewey Duck in Quack Pack is certainly a smart boy in a trio of boys and he is the brain of a threesome who solves problems but at the same time wants to be more independent than his brothers.

Dewey Duck is in this case like Maui Dewey Mallard after the example of his uncle Donald. There are two of them and Hernae, High Mojo Priestess and mysterious Shabuhm Shabuhm idol behind them and he is certainly a statue with various gold jewelry and a crown. Mostly the background means that they are on an island, where there are mostly a lot of tropical trees, especially palm trees and there is a lot of water there and there is a lot of sandy soil, but there is also hard land.

I apologize that the background turned out a little bad, as did some of this drawing. And sorry for my long comments. I also put three photos of the same drawing that I drew on my sketch block. Now this is over too, so we have all of Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck) as superheroes / secret spies / detectives / super ninjas in one place, I mean special drawings. I hope you like this drawing and that you like this new idea of mine. If you have any ideas, feel free to tell me, I am open to new ideas.

Ok, I've been thinking on this for weeks now trying to figure out a good idea for this, i've thought out soooo many different things xD And I think I finally got one that I like:

Oh also Trigger Warning for Body Horror. Thats a first for this blog I think xD

Mizrabel is originally the adopted daughter in the Nordic faitytale Tatterhood. The child taken in by the childless king and queen, who only serves the purpose of befriending a wise woman's daughter so that the wise woman can tell the queen how to gain two biological daughters, who go one to be the actual main characters of the faitytale, and then the adopted one is never heard from again. I've ways wondered what happened to that poor girl...

And what happened was that, her heart broken by grief over her adopted mother basically abandoning her once her own twins were born, the young adopted princess Mirja goes back to the wise woman herself, demanding she be given something that will make her beautiful, powerful, noticed, loved.

The wise woman warns her of the dangers of such a request. Her mother asked for a child of her own, disregarding the one she had, and for the greed in her heart she did not follow the wise woman's rules and gained more then she asked for, and did not appreciate what she gained besides.

For the Queen ate, not one, but both of the magical flowers she had grown with the wise woman's guidance. She was warned to eat only one, but she hungered to ensure the spell would take, and so gained one beautiful daugher--and one wild one.

But the cast off princess doesn't care about the warning. For she wants to be More than both of the children the queen has gained combined.

The wise woman sighs, seeing the heartache of her child's friend, and gives her a seed to take and plant, which over the next year will grow into an apple tree that will bear a single fruit, a black apple that shines with all the colors of the rainbow. If she takes one bite of it, she will outshine both the children the queen carries, both in beauty and power.

But, like her adopted mother before her, Mirja does not heed the rules. Fearful that one bite will not be enough, she eats the full apple.

Her bones begin to crack, her skin to melt and merge. She has gained the ability to shift forms, to become anyone and anything. But she cannot yet fully control it, and horrified by the mass of shifting flesh she has become , she flees into the mountains.

There, she meets the witches and troll-folk of the mountain, who teach her greater magics, and she becomes a fearsome sorceress. Finally, after seven years she returns to her old home with her troll and witch companions to wreck havok on her mother's new daughters.

She did not count on the wild one being so fiercly protective of her beautiful sister.

Defeated by young Tatterhood, bound within the mountain, the witch-princess, now having cast off her old name for the name of Mizrabel--for so young Tatterhood taunted that she was--lives in lonely seclusion in the mountains, biding her time, learning deeper lore and magic that will allow her to escape and fulfill her obsesseion of outshining every princess in the lands of the EverRealm.

people are drawing Steamboat Willie Mickey doing all this crazy shit and whatnot, but you could always do that. you can do that now, with current Mickey, just fine. it's fanart and it's legally protected. hell you could take Disney-drawn Mickey and put a caption about unions or whatever on it and it would still be protected under free speech and sometimes even parody law.

what is special about public domain is that you can SELL him. you could take a screenshot and sell it on a tshirt. you can use him to advertise your plumbing business. people have already uploaded and monetized the original film.

you could always have Mickey say what you want, but now you can profit off it.
