Sharp class dragons as pokemon types

Dragon will only be used when needed. Go find the previous post yourself. You'll only miss the Stoker and Boulder class. I forgor to say this before but the list will be from alphabetical order from the wiki.

Devilish Dervish: dark/flying or pure flying or dark for the name and unruly nature. It's not metallic, so no steel.

Egg Biter: Dragon/flying or pure dragon for lack of other traits besides strong jaws.

Grim Gnasher: dark/flying or pure dark for vulture like behaviors for attacking the weak and old. The teeth shooting and slitherwing venom immunity can give it a move or ability.

Hackatoo: steel/flying or rock/flying for ax like snout. It isn't described to be hard like metal, so the strength of a Hackatoo is variable.

Raincutter: water/flying or water/ground rain resistant fireballs, water loving behavior and foraging in the mud.

Razorwhip: Steel/flying obviously.

Scuttleclaw: probably some sort of mix of dragon, flying, and fairy. It is constantly described as cute and playful pranksters when young, so STAB play rough could work.

Shivertooth: Ice/flying, ice/steel, or pure ice or cold environment and slicing scales.

Speed stinger: electric/poison, ground/poison, or pure poison for paralyzing venom, lack of flight, and high speed.

Stromcutter: dragon/flying or pure flying for the four wings and swiftness.

Thornridge: fighting/flying for being described as a protector for those in need.

Timberjack: flying/steel or pure flying for the massive wings and their cutting edge.

Windstriker: fire/flying for be described as us using super heated air instead of fire.

HELLO AGAIN I'm glad to see you got my ask (it was important to me that you knew how much I ADORE this au) but now I've just gone back through the tag, I have some questions, if you don't mind! There's a good chance you've answered some of them before but I wanted to ask anyway:

First of all: with both Snotlout's being one character, and in Elder's age group, how does that work with some of the book specific scenes where Snotlout is being cruel to Hiccup during training (as the older ones have already gone through pirate training)?

Also slightly related: are either Adelaide or Gustav in Younger's pirate training programme or is it just the book people we hear about?

Also also slightly related (and you can tell I have a bit of a theme to my questions): what is Adelaide and Snotlout's relationship like? And what is Adelaide like full stop since she's barely mentioned in the books after all, so if you do have anything characterisation wise, that would be quite cool?

So Snotlout basically did all the book bullying to Elder back when they were both in the Pirate Training Program, (including the sabatoge and attempted parricide,) and he continued to do it through the Dragon Training Program and up until Elder saved everyone from the Red Death. Ever since starting the Dragon Academy, Elder has been receiving much more respect from his peers, and Snotlout has been having to draw back on the bullying to save face. Elder and he still have that chief-heir rivalry, of course, and it becomes a gag that Snotlout casually tries to kill him and Elder rolls his eyes like "oh, you" and then everyone laughs it off. Through RTTE he'll mellow out, and by the time of HTTYD 2, the murder theme will pretty much be gone with Snotlout having begrudgingly become real friends with Elder.

As for Adelaide!! I made a post about her a few years ago, but I decided I wanted to give her a bit of an update since I found a better slot for her in the larger story! (And also because I wanted to redesign her agahagah)

Adelaide is indeed in the Pirate Training Program! She pretty much becomes Younger's book!Snotlout, sans the murderous tendencies. Unlike Snotlout, Adelaide has nothing to gain from killing her Hiccup, but she has seen Snotlout heckle Elder enough times for her to mirror that onto Younger. Taking book!Snotlout's place also gives her all of his book lackies, like Dogsbreath! (Gustav is also a Pirate and one of her lackies, though he's less of a bully to Minicup and Fish and moreso just a mild annoyance 😂)

Adelaide and her friends' usual up-tos around Berk include sailboat racing, hunting rats and fish with their hunting dragons, basheyball, and other mischievous preteen activities (though never quite as destructive as what the Thorston twins get up to.)

Adelaide's relationship with Snotlout is amicable enough, though they probably bicker thrice as much as the Hiccups normally would. Snotlout likes to embarass Adelaide around the other Pirates and it annoys her to no end, but despite this (and she'd never say it to his face) she's often heard praising Snotlout up and down for being the coolest person ever. She likes to taunt Younger about how her cool and awesome big brother is gonna clobber his wimpy crybaby big brother. Even after Elder defeats the Red Death, she still has a habit of talking him down in favor of Snotlout, and continues to do so even through Race to the Edge and HTTYD 2.

She'd get some skull tattoos in RTTE, and her riding dragon would be the Devilish Dervish that Snot had in the books! I also wanted to give her a unique weapon, so she uses a flail mace!

Her role gets bigger from book 9 onward, as she and Snotlout's relationship with each other as well as their differing thoughts about who deserves to be King become extremely relevant.

Let's just say she's got a good throwing arm.

Random thought

So we have a bunch of drawings and headcannons about what it would be like if the dragons were human but (and hear me out) what if we reverse it. What about the humans as dragons. I mean there's a lot of different dragons for them to be like sure Fishlegs really embodies a Gronckle but what if he's actually a Pricklebog(a healing dragon that isn't one for violence, it literally has no fire power it just heals, kinda sounds like our Fishlegs), Astrid really matches a Nadder but she also matches a Triple Stryke, they're sneaky, fantastic fighters and they are deeply loyal to those that save them. I could see Hiccup as an Armor Wing or Speed Stinger. He likes using metal and is a blacksmith and he's quick and will do anything for his pack. The twins could be a Devilish Dervish (from school of dragons) they are stubborn and are hard to reason with. They're also unruly and reckless, which basically describes the twins(even though they're not really bad, they can be at times). Snotlouts a lot harder to choose for as he is the embodiment of a Nightmare so I think that the best one for him.

Thornridge : "The Thornridge is an incredibly shy and quiet dragon, preferring to remain in the background. This dragon hates getting involved with activities and fights, but will readily help if it means saving its home and friends.

Despite this shy personality, some Thornridge individuals, such as Warywing, are quite social with other dragons, even different species. Even so, Warywing is still scared of Vikings, children, and sheep. [...]

Thornridges are a long and slender dragon with short limbs and big wings. They have long tails and long necks. They have a twin nasal horn that makes a "V" shape, and a solid frill with spiral horns. They have a pair of big eyes at the front of their skulls. They come in all sorts of colors with blotchy markings and paler underbellies. They have a few spines running down from their necks to tails and their tail splits slightly at the end.

HTTYD Batfam Part 2

This time it's Batwoman's dragon partners!

Night Fury “Dogstar” [Male] A pitch-black drake with heavy scarring across the shoulder, the injury looking like an old bite,and with a missing horn framing deep blue eyes. He has a dark crimson armor plate on his chest with a bat-symbol carved into it, alongside a couple of saddlebags on his side. 

Devilish Dervish “Whiskey” [Female] This dragoness has dark red horns that match her rider’s symbol in color, though who knows if it’s a natural coloration or if it was painted as such. There are metal rings on the horns, mostly for the rider to hold onto but also including carvings of bats and other dragons. A saddle sits right before the larger back-spikes start, alongside a couple of saddlebags including a larger bag towards the back. 

Deathgripper “Bravo” [Female] 

Deathgripper “Charlie” [Female] A pair of dragonesses  she hatched from eggs and raised by hand. One of their saddlebags (located behind their front legs) has extra weapons while the other has extra medical supplies. Bravo has more of a blue-tint to the darker patterns while Charlie has a more pink-tint to the reds. Both have saddles behind the first back plate that are slightly padded but mostly harness, designed to be hidden and for the rider to lay down to not get in the way of the tail.

HTTYD AND OBEY ME CROSSOVER- The Characters and Their Dragons

Lucifer - Deathgripper

- Rare dragon thats shaped like a scorpion. Only trainable with someone very experienced or if theyve been intoxicated by their own venom. Fits Lucis colour scheme

Mammon - Armourwing

- Armourwings find whatever metal they can and melt it onto their skin to create a suit of armour for themselves. Mammon would train his to spare valuable metal for himself.

Levi - Scauldron

- The Scauldron is a dragon that has a pouch it collects water in, and spits it out at high temperatures to both burn and drown their victims. Not considered trainable, but Levi could make it happen and give him the confidence he deserves. (Dont tell him it was only calm bc he smells like fish/hj)

Satan - Monsterous Nightmare

- allegedly the most lethal of all dragons, this stoker class dragon can light itself on fire. Its normally skittish, but quick to the flame if provoked.

Asmo - Songwing / Deathsong (same)

- The Songwing uses its call to lure prey into its shooting range, where it shoots an amber-like substance to keep its prey there. Has butterfly like wings.

Beel - Zippleback / Rumblehorn

- Zippleback dragons require two riders, because it has two heads. The riders have to be well in tune with each other, which is why twins are the set of people who normally end up on them.

- Rumblehorn dragon is considered a medium sized tracker dragon, and it looks like what a triceratops would look like, mixed with a beetle. Very stron, powerful dragons.

Belphie -Zippleback / Hotburple

- Hotburple dragon is as lazy and sleepy as Belphie- perfect napping buddyyyy.

Barb - Snaptrapper

- The Snaptrapper dragon has four heads with three jaws, and resemble a venus flytrap. Except, when its mouth is open, it smells like candy, and thats how it lures prey in. Very difficult to train, but because of its connection to plants, sweets, and the amount of competency needed, I give to Barb.

Mephisto - Stormcutter

- this dragon has two sets of wings. Has owl like tendencies and mannerisms. Idk I just think Mephi would enjoy a dragon like this. Also with the two steps of wings, theres potential for it to be easier to climb onto than other dragons.

Dia - Crimson Goregutter

- Easy. Big boi himbo deserves big boi dragon. Both are kind until given reason to obliterate.

Raphael - Razorwhip

- A dragon that can definitely hold its own. Spits blue fire, has metallic armour like scales, a sharp and telescopic tail that can be used as a whip, and shooting tail barbs are among SOME of its defenses. He admires that.

Simeon - Timberjack

- Timberjack are possibly the most skittish of all dragons, but easiest to tell when its around as its wings are sharp, and will fell entire forests just for fun. Bc of Simeons quiet and nuturing nature, I think he would be one of few to have a Timberjack that would like to curl around him and watch him write. Its wings also act as its shelter from the elements, and will protect its trainer too.

Luke- Hobblegrunt

- Hobblegrunts change colours with their emotions! Because its easy to read, Luke would have no trouble keeping up with its emotional, physical and other needs. Its also kinda shaped like a velociraptor and I think he would enjoy that bdksbdjs

Thirteen - Devilish Dervish

- This dragon has a scythe for a tail! Thirteen is very excited to match with another large and powerful being!

Solomon - Gronkle

- I cant get the image out of my head. I put Gronkle as a joke but now I cant replace it. Sol riding a Gronkle is my brain now.

I somehow missed the Develish Dervish when perusing dragons for team RWBY but I will definitely look into it! Seems like a funny little guy :)

And Timberjack was one of the dragons I was thinking for Ruby, but unfortunately I forgot why I didn't go with it, sorry ^^'

Wanna make an AirFort together and then fuck under the stars in the dome igloo things in ICEland. Then when the sheet flies off and the Milkey Way dances with the AuroraS Borealis. Incontheivable fireworks explode by the shear passionate love that is churning bellow….their exquisite yet delicate intensity booms into the night….and yet…the fire burning back in the now thoroughly disheveled ICE Fortress….its ‘impenetrable, and cloaked’ walls melt….The water….a bearer of love and life…once released….snakes its way over the pearly, irridescent peakes and soft supple valleys….the two…intertwined…oblivious to the Universe…lost in each other……

A heartrending KRACKLE BEEEEWWWWW echos towards the ice palaces in Rekyavick….it seems Our dynamic duo may have gotten into another waterlogged situation….

Without a care…. The two lovers plunge into the icey depths…..their twisting swirling devilish dervish enrergies act as propeller and take them far South….curious the duo press on….never missing a heartbeat….they dive deep into one another….as the thick darkness is pierced by a terrible angry energy screaming out for release…
