Izzy Hands: The Moon.
Re-imagined from the traditional Ride-Waite-Smith tarot, this version of the Moon shows Izzy taking the shape of a lone Lover, longing for what he cannot reach.
Longer exploration of the card's symbolism under the cut.
Symbolism of the card
I initially meant this card to be specifically Izzy's, but he is once again unseparable from Ed. Though the moon itself is depicted as Ed, it is through Izzy that I interpret the journey of the card. Feel free to invent your own interpretation as well!
In the original version of the Moon we see a dog, a wolf, and a crayfish. Izzy takes the place of the wolf, marking him as wild and untameable. He is accompanied by a dog, symbolizing his loyalty. The crayfish has retreated, and we can see a monster lurking in the depths of the water, reminding us of the beasts that lie within.
Rachel Pollack (2011) writes: "The Moon signifies the dangerous time between the end of one world structure and the beginning of another. On the emotional level it can indicate the strange state when something powerful has ended and you find yourself thrown back on your instincts."
In the card Izzy already has his wooden leg. He his stepping into his role as the Unicorn, marking a shift in his loyalty and his place in the world. His reign as Blackbeard's first mate is ending, and a whole new world order is being imagined.
Ed is also seen in a new light. With his short beard, he is at the end of his captaincy, possibly even at the end of his piracy. He as the Moon is illuminated by the light of the Sun, personified by Stede in another card, The Sun.
Izzy bears witness to their combined light, unreachable to him on the ground. He teeters at the edge of the water illuminated by that very light, and is faced with a choice. Will he turn, follow the path and try to reach the unreachable? Or will he explore the unknown waters in front of him?
In tarot, water symbolizes emotions, intuition and subconscious. Pollack writes: "Here in the unknown territory our animal selves take over. We cannot suppress the wild emotions but only travel through them." The message of the Moon beckons Izzy to step into the water and face his emotions.
However, there are also dangers in the murky waters of the subconscious. Pollack continues: "The Moon card calls forth powerful dreams, visions, and the power of the feminine." In tarot water is a feminine element. Izzy, a beacon of masculinity, has in the past confused the feminine with the monstrous. He is now dared to invite the feminine within him to the surface. His posture already mirrors that of the feminine lover from the Lovers-card. It also calls back to the Fool, to someone at the beginning of their self-discovery.
Tl;dr: Izzy, the Fool and the Lover, is on a journey from one world to another. Will he follow the path and try to reach the unreachable, or will he find the courage to plunge into unknown waters?
A comparison between the original Rider-Waite-Smith card from 1909 and the re-imagined version
Izzy's pose mirrors the feminine Lover

Foul legacy meeting reader that also has an abyssal(or adepti/something similar) form and gaining a new friend. What do you mean they can spar on full powers and dont worry about accidently killing them? What do you mean they can spend hours purring to each other? They can even turn into human too and be with them even when human Childe in control? What a nice dream.
ohhh my gosh, just imagine when you and Foul Legacy meet for the first time
there's no fighting, no bloodshed, not even growling- just two curious Abyss monsters observing each other from afar. cautiously you approach one another, tilting your heads and letting out quiet little trills, until you fully chirp to Foul Legacy, who chitters back!! you both simultaneously realize that the other is not a threat and start excitedly trilling to each other, conversing in a language no one else can understand. Foul Legacy is enamored with you, comparing hand sizes and admiring the Abyssal magic that seems to hang around your being <33
once you become friends, you and Foul Legacy both spar regularly!! it's a good way to get energy out and satisfy his love of battle, plus you're quite skilled at it, so the fight is evenly matched!! Foul Legacy's always very tired afterwards though, so afterwards he sleepily pulls you towards him and curls around you in a big, fluffy pile, purring tiredly and bumping his forehead against yours- sometimes he's so exhausted that he'll transform back into human Childe, and wake up being gently hugged by your Abyssal form, cradling him like he's someone precious, and Childe suddenly never wants to leave the warm, safe embrace of your arms

This genuinely happened to me earlier while I was sitting on a window sill in my school building (me and my close friend)
(I do not expect many people to see this lmfao but I just need to post this somewhere)
Context about the drawing below:
(tophat guy: complicated to explain my dynamic but all I'll say is that it's a close friendship with unintentional-intentional romantic undertones??? Idfk IT'S COMPLICATED, I'm just gonna label him as "close friend")
I decided to sit on the open window and wait for my close friend "Pineapple" to come back from somewhere
When he came back I stared dead into his eyes and smiled because usually I would "fuck around and find out" so sitting on an open window on the 2nd floor is definitely dangerous (dw I was facing the classroom interior, not the outside)
He straight up went to me, scooped me up, and bridal carried me off the window with ease, take note that he's lanky and is the same weight as me despite having a 7 inch height difference between us, yet somehow he carried me with so much ease
Usually he would tell me to get down from the window a few times before I comply but bro literally went "nuh uh" and did it himself, wtf?!??!? (I am a flustered mess and it literally happened 6 hours ago, I am definitely normal)

Are all the akatsuki members underweight? I remember reading that Hidan weighed around 57kg at 177cm and that Kakuzu weighed less than 65kg at 185 cm which is wild
Tbh I can’t tell if it’s because it’s a manga and Kishimoto just made everyone weigh less than what is realistic or if it’s because Kakuzu is mainly made up of threads so he doesn’t weigh that much
When thinking about these things, you need to take into account:
1. Averages for the country of origin.
Different regions have different distributions for traits like this. Averages vary based on what they are in comparison to. An average in one place will be seen as "abnormal" in a different place. So like, people from Nothern China tend to be, on average, taller than people in Southern China, so on and so forth.
2. Time period.
Naruto takes place in a psudo-feudal type Japan setting. The distribution for weight and height used to be different if you take the era into account. (If you are a keener, you can do a nutritional thought exercise based on what people commonly ate in feudal Japan, but I'm not good at it, and my weightlifting friends who know nutrition have weird regiments.)
3. Target audience for the story
This is the main explanation, but when you are creating a story with an audience of teenagers in mind, you need to take into account how they perceive the world. It doesn't have to be ultra-realistic. It can just exist to be related to by a teenager. It's part of the reason protags and all the characters are so young. On average, people tend to enjoy things where they can establish a quick connection to the character. To them, smaller numbers make more sense and are easier to comprehend.
Think of when you were 13 watching Naruto and thought 35-year-old Sasori was an old, ancient man. To how now, you look at the ages and height/weight ratios like, "This makes no sense/is concerning."
