I haven’t played sword and shield yet so not a lot of gen 9, sorry
Ok ive thought a lot about this SO
Jay would have a lot of normal, flying, and grass types. He would most certainly have an Eevee, and they're very protective of him. He would also probably have a togetic, a fletchling, a luxury and a fomantis
Tim has DOGS. Lots of lovely big ol’ dogs. An Arcaine, a houndoom, like three rockruffs, and a poochyena. They all love him and are goofs
Alex has bugs and psychics. Like a skorupi, a spinarak, a meowstic, and a kirlia. Little rascals
Vinnie has a cubchoo, a litleo, a mienfoo, and an ekans.
Evan has a lot of ready to fight children. A Lopunny, a Riolu, a medicham, a Mienshao, and an Armaldo
Jeff isn’t much of a fighting trainer, more of a casual guy with pets, so no set types. Hes got a flygon, a Salandit, a Sliggoo, and a Froslass
Alex has a Wooloo and a Rockruff. They’re his best friends.
Steph has a Leafeon, a raichu, a murkrow, and a Manectric. They’re very well trained and they love her
Noah would mostly have dark and psychic types. He has an espeon and an umbreon, aka the biggest babies in the world.
Michael has a Mawile and a mimikyu. They’re his emotional support Pokemon and hate everyone expect for Michael.
Shaun has a numel, a Totodile, and a Roselia.

first encounters
Nolan:
Sabre / Litten: An alley stray kid!Nolan befriended before rescuing him one day from drowning in a canal. Follows him like a little shadow ever since.
Princess / Skitty: Nolan adores Skitties and always wanted one. So he saved up and bought her from a specialised Skitty breeder after being on a long waiting list. He also wanted a playmate for Sabre (”This is your sister”). However his two cats bicker often.
Lee / Elekid-Electabuzz: A wild chance encounter.
Boog / Cubchoo-Beartic: Followed after (intensely stalked) Nolan throughout his journey despite Nolan's protest and eventually caught himself with a Quick ball Nolan was saving up.
Lazarus / Numel-Camerupt: He camped out for Lazarus because he thinks Numels are so! freakin! awesome! Boog causes an accidental landslide that traps a Numel and Nolan stays behind for several days, encouraging it to break free.
Baz / Wartortle-Blastoise: He chanced upon it in the wild where it had a Naruto Rasengan/Chidori (Aura Sphere vs Electro Ball) battle with Lee.
Zion:
Don / Shiftry*: He lived in the tree kid!Zion would often read under as a Seedot. He was very intrigued by Zion’s books and would try to follow after him to look at the pages. Despite being initially annoyed by his persistence, Zion took a liking to him and they eventually struck up a friendly companionship. When Don was attacked by a horde of bird-Pokémon, Zion took him in and nursed him back to health and they’ve been together ever since.
Aoi / Riolu: Aoi and Naga were street urchins who were drawn to Zion's garden and started stealing his produce to fill their empty bellies. They got caught by Zion's Nuzleaf (then) and Zion punished them. ...but he also fed them and cleaned them. Them living with him is essentially him going "Well, I guess you can stay until we find you a new home, but until then, make yourself useful" They've gotten really comfortable at Zion's.
Naga / Mienfoo: Like Aoi, they raided and ruined Zion’s garden and were tasked with repairing the damage it (as Zion did not have the heart to throw them out as they were kids). From the garden it shifted to chores around the house to earn their keep. Till they find “new trainers”, they had to do their part and Zion felt like he had to set them straight, on the right path.
Ueki / Bonsly-Sudowoodo: Zion found it hiding in his garden one day eating his crops. He tried to chase it off and when he finally cornered it, it started bawling (Fake Tears). This caught him off guard and he faltered. The Bonsly saw an opening and slipped past Zion, but not before throwing a move at him and sticking its tongue out, and then running away. The Bonsly returned in the days of the following week and caused a lot of trouble for Zion until he finally captured it. It took forever because it was devious and clever and it wasn’t afraid to fight back. They even set up traps for it. Aoi and Naga were the main ones who chased after it while Don supervised (it’s surprisingly agile) and it had a lot of fun making them scramble around. It used the Fake Tears trick on Zion again but he wasn't fazed. In fact, he gave it an angry stern lecture and it sulked.
Hagame / Turtwig: The Turtwig lives in his garden and spends most of her time sleeping amongst Zion's crops. He found that she had wandered in and made a home for herself and he was really afraid she’d eat and damage his crops. But he found out that she didn't and actually made his plants healthier so he just left her alone (also mainly because he failed to drive her out) She was always sleeping and once she was asleep, she wouldn't wake up and she was very heavy - so he got Aoi and Naga to lift and carry her out of the garden, left her outside and they shut the gates next day she was back at the same place so this continued on for a while until Zion kinda gave up since she wasn't really being a nuisance. She is also a very clean Pokemon. Zion appreciates that. He feeds and waters her regularly like another one of his plants. She also produces oxygen which boosts health and in turn she boosted the health of his crops xD She’s a grass type Pokemon so idk I guess she was good for the plants too She sleeps a lot and doesn't really bother anyone. Sometimes Zion takes the time out to polish her shell.
Fūrin / Chimecho: Inherited from his great-grandparents together with the house as a guardian.
Day:
Kirby / Sylveon: Picked out from a litter of Eevees given away in school a local Eevee breeder (same as Jacob)
Mickey / Marill-Azumarill: He got his Azurill from a trip to the beach. He befriended it and it followed him back
Pinkie / Cleffa-Clefairy-Clefable: Appeared during the night of a meteor shower. While everyone else was out watching the meteor shower, she snuck into Day’s house to steal but got stuck. She literally broke in. Pinkie loves Minior-shaped candies
Benny / Togepi-Togetic: Given to Day as an egg by his god-aunt, Noella as a Christmas gift (in conjunction with Jacob’s Mimi)
Aeriel:
Pixie / Cutiefly-Ribombee: Aeriel’s childhood pokemon.
Mochi / Pikachu: He was found entangled and stuck wires and overcharged after a power outage and was very ill with electrical overcharging. Day’s mum nursed it back to health. Because they usually release Pokémon they’ve nursed back to health, Day pleaded for his mum to keep the Pikachu. He now stays as their family pet.

Pokemon Headcanon #16
While the Grass/Fire/Water starters are best known, starters can be any type. However, only certain Pokemon qualify as starters. Starters must be less than 4 feet, be relatively easy to train, have good stats, have the given type be its main type, and be either a stage 1 or baby pokemon. Here are the official starters for each type.
Fire: Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Tepig, Fennekin, Litten, Magby, Vulpix, Growlithe, Pansear, Ponyta
Water: Squirtle, Tododile, Mudkip, Piplup, Oshawott, Froakie, Popplio, Poliwag, Goldeen, Horsea, Buizel, Panpour, Tympole, Marill, Wooper, Lombre, Wingull, Ducklett, Seel, Clauncher

KND-Pokémon Crossover
Ok, so I am very fond of crossover, and Pokémon being one of my favorite video game, I had for a while the idea to draw Sector V with their Pokémon team.
I tried to match the Pokémon with each characters' personalities (i tried) : I will also say why I chose some of the Pokémon.
For the kids, I wanted to give them unelvoved pokémon to keep the idea they're still kids (babies Pokémon/pre-evolutions).
Numbuh 1 :
-Charmander, being the leader, he deserves to get a starter Pokémon and i think Charmander is the best choice (also see more below)
-Vulpix, because it's cute and why not
-Fletching, everyone needs a flying type pokémon in his/her team
-Abra, a psychic type pokemon that reminds me of Numbuh 1, don't ask why, it just does (also see more below)
-Eevee, because I wanted to
-Seel, because I'm a douche and wanted to give the character a pokémon that reminds their transformation into animals in Operation : G.R.A.D.U.AT.E.S.
Numbuh 2 :
-Munchlax, because he eats a lot
-Skarmory, because steel/flying type is totally Numbuh 2
-Rufflet, because a baby eagle for our american kid suits him good
-Starly, because more flying type ! (since Numbuh 2 like to pilot)
-Aron, because some diversity, still a steel type because 2x4 tech
-Hippopotas, because reference to Operation : G.R.A.D.U.AT.E.S. (yes, everyone will get one)
Numbuh 3 :
-Dedenne, because she takes care of the hamsters
-Stunky, because Bradley/Numbuh 6
-Pansage, BECAUSE RAINBOW MONKEYS!!!
-Pansear, BECAUSE RAINBOW MONKEYS!!!
-Panpour, BECAUSE RAINBOW MONKEYS!!!
-Swanna, because I couldn't find a more proper Pokémon that looks like a crane, reference Operation : G.R.A.D.U.AT.E.S.
Numbuh 4 :
-Machop, most of his Pokémon are fighting type, nothing more, nothing less
-Tyrogue
-Mienfoo
-Scraggy, because it totally reminds me of Wally
-Pancham
-Komala, because he turns into a koala in Operation : G.R.A.D.U.AT.E.S.
Numbuh 5 :
-Vanillite, as a reference to the fourth flavour
-Dratini, because it's freaking cute and majestic and Numbuh 5 deserves such a pokémon
-Sneasel, because she is a stealth expert and sneaky, plus it looks cool
-Rockruff, as a reference to her transformation as a weredog (Rockruff can evolve into Lycanroc, werewolf-like pokémon)
-Lapras, because it's majestic just like Numbuh 5
-Deerling, because just like Numbuh 3 I couldn't find a better pokémon that looks like a gazelle, so yeah....
Delightful Children :
-Dugtrio alolan form, because I think it's kinda obvious (immediatly thought of them when the pokémon form was released xD)
-Magneton
-Weezing
-Exeggutor
-Klingklang
-Hydreigon
............. Yeah, their pokémons have more than one head, because you know.... They are always a group.
Father :
-Mega Charizard X, because I can't deny him a fire/dragon Pokémon, can I ? Also, the final stage of the same starter pokémon as Numbuh 1, them being related and stuff
-Houndoom, because it suits Father perfectly
-Incineroar, because he's a villain, screw the rules, he gets another starter.
-Pyroar, because based on a lion, and a lion is the king/ruler of the jungle, I think it goes with Father's personality
-Magmortar, because FIRE, BABY!!!
-Liepard, because it's the closest pokémon to a panther, reference to Operation : G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. (yes, i know it's actually a leopard, but we don't have a panther pokémon. Incineroar is more of a tiger than anything else)
Monty :
-Victini, as a reference to his victory against Grandfather (Victini is the victory Pokémon) fire/psychic type
-Serebii, Because why not giving him legendaries pokémon ?
grass/psychic type
-Manaphy, Because why not giving him legendaries pokémon ?
water type
-Jirachi, Because why not giving him legendaries pokémon ?
steel/psychic type
-Mew, Because why not giving him legendaries pokémon ?
psychic type
-Type:Null, in french, that pokémon is name Type:0, as in zero, so Numbuh 0 gets Type:0 (it's kinda lame, I know, but I was running out of ideas)
Numbuh 362 :
-Riolu, because it's cute and goes with Rachel's fighting abilities
-Meditite, same as above
-Ralts, because why not, i think it suits her
-Horsea, same as above
-Lunatone, because she's the soopreme leader from the MOONBASE
-Chimchar, because as soopreme leader she gets a starter : as a reference to her transformation into a monkey in Operation : G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. and since it can evolve into a fire/FIGTING type, it's totally the perfect choice for her
Numbuh 60 :
-Snorunt
-Spheal
-Snover
-Glaceon
-Cubchoo
-Cryogonal
Heh, most of his Pokémon are ice type... what a coincidence...
Numbuh 86 :
-Nidoran female
-Vullaby
-Froslass
-Blissey, as a reference to her old job as a medic
-Smoochum
-Growlithe, >figures....<
As you can see, her Pokémon are only female because she hates boys. Her growlithe is also a female.
Cree :
-Persian
-Gardevoir
-Medicham
-Lopunny
-Meowstick
-Zororark, because it can change apparences (B.R.A. tech reference)
Other than that, I think it suits Cree, but I can be wrong.
Chad :
-Passimian
-Machoke
-Rhydon
-Swellow
-Bisharp
-Luxray
Because they all look cool for Chad !
Grandfather :
-Mega Alakazam, because it reminds me of Grandfather. Also, I wanted the final form of a Pokémon that Numbuh 1 has, because they are related. Is it necessary? Maybe not, but here it is anyway
-Hypno, because he brainwashed everyone
-Chandelure, because it's creepy, just like Grandfather
-Relicanthe, because it's almost a fossile Pokémon and Grandfather is reaaally old
-Tyrantrum, same as above
-Murkrow, because I wanted him to have a dark type Pokémon
And that's it, folks ! I didn't think more for others characters because it's kinda hard to make all of these pokémon teams. When I wrote "it suits perfectly the character", it's only my opinion, it's okay if you don't agree with me : it is how I see the characters.
When I will have the time, I’ll make fanart out of it......
