Preschool Graduation┃MV1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a beautiful morning and Max was dressed in an elegant tailored suit. He stood proudly next to his wife Y/N as they attended their little daughter Olivia's preschool graduation. The air was filled with excitement as families gathered in the hall, adorned with beautiful decorations and colorful balloons emblazoned with the phrase ''Class of 2023.''
Max's heart swelled with pride as Olivia, in her tiny cap and gown, joined her classmates on stage. The little graduates were beaming with joy, and Max couldn't help but feel nostalgic about how quickly time had passed since Olivia's first day at preschool. He still remembered when he had cried that morning with his daughter in arms trying to convince his wife to stay home that morning and not send her to school because he still couldn't believe that the day had arrived.
Y/N, with a proud smile, squeezed Max's hand as they took their seats. Both families, the Verstappens and the Y/L/N, were there to celebrate this special moment. Max's parents were sitting nearby and exchanging proud glances with Y/N's parents.
The ceremony began with the children entering, holding hands and laughing. Max tried to maintain his composure, but every time he caught a glimpse of Olivia's radiant smile, his eyes filled with tears. He dried them discreetly, hoping his wife wouldn't notice.
When Olivia's name was called, Max couldn't contain his emotions. He let out a proud cheer that echoed throughout the room. He jumped to his feet, camera in hand, and started taking pictures madly. "That's my daughter!" he yelled, not caring that it elicited some amused looks from the other parents. Although his wife was not far behind, she also stopped to record from the moment her little girl got up from her seat until she turned to see her parents and waved with a huge smile full of joy from stage. Both families burst into applause and shouts when the little girl received her diploma. And to Olivia's surprise, all of her uncles were there too. Charles, Carlos, Lando, Daniel, George, Alex and even Checo with his family were there, all applauding excitedly and some crying.
Max's eyes shone with tears of joy and he wiped them away with the back of his hand, laughing at his lack of self-control, but he didn't care in the least.
To the amusement of the other parents, he snorted and pulled a handkerchief from his suit pocket, declaring, "It's very emotional, okey?"
When the ceremony concluded, Max took Olivia in his arms and spun her around as she laughed with joy. Both met with the whole family along with the other drivers.
"Congratulations, my little champion!" Max exclaimed, his eyes shining with pride. Olivia smiled at her father, a miniature version of Max's infectious smile on her face.
The day continued with a celebration at Verstappen's house. Max and Y/N had organized a small gathering with family and close friends to honor Olivia's achievement. The backyard was adorned with decorations and a special cake.
While guests enjoyed the festivities, Max found himself reflecting on his journey into fatherhood. He had always been passionate about racing, but watching Olivia grow up gave him a different kind of satisfaction.
During the celebration, Max and his wife took a moment to share a few words for her little girl, expressing admiration for her determination and enthusiasm for her life. They talked about the joy she brought to their world and how her accomplishments, no matter how small, filled them with an immense sense of pride.
Many might know Max as the beast he was when he got into his F1 car and raced on the circuits, or others as the triple champion, but despite that, he was the best father to a beautiful little recent graduate named Olivia and he best husband for his beloved.

UNVEILING HEARTS
pairing: Harry Potter x reader
warnings: alcohol consumption
synopsis: In a world where Voldemort doesn't exist, you and Harry Potter have been best friends for years. As your final year at Hogwarts approaches, a party brings forth unexpected confessions.
fluff, best friends to lovers
Tumblr media
The Hogwarts grounds were adorned with colorful decorations as the final year students prepared for the grand end-of-year celebration. Among them, you and your best friend, Harry Potter, were buzzing with excitement. You had been inseparable since your first year, forging a bond that had only grown stronger with time.
As the evening of the party approached, you couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness. You had been harboring deeper feelings for Harry, but the fear of jeopardizing your friendship held you back. Tonight, however, the magical ambiance and a touch of liquid courage might just change everything.
As the sun set, the Great Hall had been transformed into a dazzling spectacle. Enchanted lights were dancing overhead, and music was filling the air. The atmosphere was electric, as everyone was celebrating the grand end-of-year feast. The food was delicious, the company was entertaining, and the alcohol flowed freely.
As the evening progressed, you found yourself immersed in the festivities. You were laughing and dancing with your friends. As the night progressed, you felt your nerves melting away.
Amidst the crowd, Harry stood out. Your eyes were drawn to him, his eyes sparkling with mischief and his laugh filling the room. You couldn't resist stealing glances at him, your heart fluttering at the sight of his infectious smile.
Tonight was the night to be bold. You wanted to take a chance, to reveal the depth of your feelings for Harry. You took a deep breath, summoning the courage to finally act on the feelings you had harbored for so long. You had to take a shot.
As the night wore on and the drinks started flowing freely, the atmosphere became more relaxed. Everyone was caught up in the joyous energy of the party, including Harry.
You had to admit, he looked like he was having a good time. His laugh, infectious and joyous, filled the room and made him stand out. Your gaze was drawn to him, unable to resist stealing glances his way.
As the night went on, the alcohol continued to flow and the atmosphere grew looser. People were less inhibited, less worried about appearances, and more willing to have fun.
As fate would have it, you and Harry somehow find yourselves sitting together on a secluded balcony, taking a momentary break from the festivities.
The cool night air brushes against your skin, refreshing and invigorating. You can't help but notice how cozy this moment is, so different from the noise and chaos of the party.
You take a deep breath, the air cool and crisp, and listen as the distant sound of laughter drifts through the doors behind you. It's peaceful, the sound of other people's joy fading into the background. In this moment, there's only you and Harry.
You turn to face Harry, your heart beating rapidly. It feels like you're living in a movie, this moment so perfect, like a fairy tale. Harry's enthusiasm is infectious, his voice full of wonder.
"This party is incredible," he says, and you smile, your heart pounding.
"I know, it feels bittersweet," you whisper, your voice shaking slightly. "But I'm grateful for all the memories we've made together. Everything we've been through to get here. It's hard to believe this is our last year at Hogwarts."
Harry's eyes met yours, a hint of curiosity shining through. "Speaking of memories, Y/N, there's something I've been wanting to tell you."
Your breath caught in your throat as you waited for him to continue. The alcohol coursing through your veins made you feel bolder, more willing to dive into the unknown.
"I've known you for so long, Y/N, and you've always been there for me. But lately, I've been feeling something more. I can't ignore the way my heart skips a beat whenever I'm around you. I don't want to risk our friendship, but I also can't deny what I'm feeling."
Your heart soared at his confession, and the words tumbled out before you could stop them. "Harry, you have no idea how long I've been wrestling with the same feelings. You've always been the one who understands me the most, who makes me feel safe. I want to take this chance, to see where this could lead."
Harry's eyes widened, a mixture of surprise and joy dancing in them. "Y/N, are you saying...?"
Before Harry could finish his sentence, the door to the balcony suddenly swung open, revealing Ron and Hermione. Both of them wore mischievous grins that spoke volumes, their eyes settling on you and Harry.
Ron took a step closer, his eyes darting between you and Harry with a knowing smirk on his face. "Ah, there you are," he said, his tone teasing. "We've been looking everywhere for you. It seems like we interrupted something important."
Hermione, standing behind Ron, nodded and gave you both a small, knowing smile. "Well, we'll just leave you two alone then. Carry on."
With a smile, Hermione backed away to give Harry and you some privacy. Ron, however, seemed unwilling to leave. He didn't move, his gaze still locked on both of you. His knowing smirk remained on his face, his eyes filled with mischief.
"Yeah, we definitely interrupted something important," he said, his tone teasing.
As the door closed behind Hermione and Ron, you and Harry exchanged a look that was rich with anticipation. The air was thick with unspoken promises, the tension almost palpable.
Encouraged by both the alcohol and the shared confession, you both leaned in towards each other. Hesitant but curious, your lips met for a tender, intimate kiss. It was a culmination of all those years of friendship, and the feelings of desire and unspoken passion that had brewed within you.
As the kiss deepened, it became more passionate, an explosion of feelings as the weight of your emotions crashed around you like an undertow. Your heart raced as the connection between you and Harry grew deeper, the trust between you growing stronger with each passing second. It was a moment of vulnerability, where your desires, the unspoken passions that had brewed within you for so long, were finally released into the world. It was a beautiful dance between two hearts finally finding their way to each other, the music of your souls harmonizing in perfect sync.
When you finally pulled apart, you found yourself gasping for breath, breathless and wide-eyed. There were so many emotions swirling around inside of you, and you struggled to contain them as you looked at Harry, who was staring at you with awe and admiration.
With his hand gently cupping your cheek, Harry spoke softly, his voice filled with wonder. "Y/N, I've been waiting for this moment for so long. You mean everything to me."
You looked at him, and your heart tumbled within your chest. This was the moment you had both been waiting for.
You couldn't help but smile as you took Harry's hand, your heart swelling with joy. He meant everything to you, all those years of unspoken feelings and quiet desires finally coming together.
Hand in hand, you both returned to the party, the world around you now imbued with a newfound magic. Music and merriment filled the air, the joyful atmosphere contagious as you danced beneath the enchanting lights. The laughter and stolen glances became the soundtrack of your love story. You looked over at Harry, who smiled back, your hearts pounding at the same time. This was perfect, just perfect.
As the night progressed, the alcohol continued to flow, and the inhibitions of those around you began to evaporate like morning mist. The air was filled with a sense of camaraderie, as people gathered around, laughing and sharing their hopes, dreams, and deepest secrets. The music grew louder, the conversation growing more animated as people started to open up and get to know each other better. This was no longer just a party; this was an experience, and you were a part of it.
In the midst of the revelry, you and Harry found yourselves sitting beneath a canopy of stars, the gentle glow of the moon casting a soft light over your faces. The atmosphere was still, as if all the noise and excitement from the party had been sucked into the night sky. You and Harry looked at each other, your hearts beating wildly. It was just the two of you, alone under the stars.
"Y/N," Harry began, his voice slightly slurred, "I've never told anyone this before, but you've always been my inspiration."
You looked at him, your heart racing, wondering where this conversation was heading. You'd been by Harry's side through it all, both of you fighting for the good.
"You make me want to be a better person," Harry continued, his words becoming even more slurred as the night went on. "You've taught me the meaning of bravery and loyalty. You're the reason I want to fight for what's right."
As Harry stumbled over his words, you couldn't help but wonder what he meant. You had been by his side through every challenge, through every battle... and this whole time, he'd seen you as his inspiration? You were at a loss for words, your heart beating erratically.
Harry continued to speak, his voice becoming increasingly slurred as the evening progressed. You could tell he was having a hard time getting the words out, his eyes brimming with emotion. "You're the reason I am where I am today."
Harry slowly leaned in, his lips hovering close to yours. When his lips finally touched yours, a surge of emotion washed over you. The alcohol and the shared confession had created a passionate moment, and you couldn't help but give in to your feelings. Your bodies became one, your tongues meeting in a whirlwind of emotion. This was the night you had both been waiting for, and it was wonderful.

In the heart of the city, where the air buzzed with the festive spirit, Harry and Y/N decided to embark on a delightful adventure to the holiday market. With twinkling lights overhead and the scent of cinnamon wafting through the crisp winter air, they stepped into a world of festive magic.
Hand in hand, they entered the market, their eyes widening at the sight of stalls adorned with colorful decorations and handmade treasures. The joyful chaos of the crowd filled the air, but in the midst of it all, Harry and Y/N found solace in their shared excitement.
Their first stop was at a quaint stall selling knitted scarves in every imaginable color. Y/N couldn't resist running her fingers over the soft textures, imagining cozy winter days wrapped in warmth. Harry, always attentive, picked out a scarf in a shade that perfectly matched her eyes, a surprise he couldn't wait to unveil later.
As they continued to weave through the market, the couple discovered stalls offering an array of quirky ornaments. From miniature snow globes to hand-painted baubles, each piece seemed beautiful and collectible. Y/N's eyes lit up at the sight of a particularly charming ornament – a tiny polar bear wearing a Santa hat. Harry couldn't help but smile, knowing it would find a special place on their Christmas tree.
The market's festive soundtrack was accompanied by the irresistible aroma of holiday treats. Y/N's nose led them to a charming stand selling hot chocolate adorned with marshmallows and a sprinkle of cinnamon. They indulged in the sweet warmth, savoring the comforting flavors that danced on their tongues.
Amidst the crowd, Harry spotted a stall with vintage records, a treasure trove for a music enthusiast like him. The crackling sound of vinyl filled the air as he carefully flipped through the stacks, his eyes lighting up. Y/N watched with admiration as he held the record in his hands, his enthusiasm contagious.
Their pockets filled with festive treats and newfound treasures, the couple found a quiet spot to take in the enchanting atmosphere. The market's ambiance was a blend of laughter, joyful chatter, and the melodies of street performers playing classic holiday tunes.
As the day unfolded, Harry couldn't resist the urge to pick out a special trinket for Y/N. In a hidden corner of the market, he found a stall adorned with delicate handmade jewelry. His eyes fell on a dainty necklace with a pendant shaped like a snowflake – a symbol of the uniqueness and beauty he saw in Y/N. With a smile, he purchased the necklace, envisioning the moment he would gift it to her.
The holiday market adventure wasn't just about shopping; it was a celebration of love, laughter, and the magic of the season. As the day drew to a close, Harry and Y/N found a quiet spot to watch the market come alive with twinkling lights. The ornaments, scarves, and trinkets they had collected told a story of a day filled with shared joy and the simple pleasures of being together during the most magical time of the year.

Hi! I am such a big fan our your writing and every time I see you pop up on my dash I get so excited!! 🤍🤍
If you are looking for ideas, how do you think the batch would react to you trying to throw them a collective birthday party? I know they don’t really have a “birth”day but maybe they agree to celebrate on a specific date (maybe an important day for them)?
Birthday Surprise

As rumors of a surprise spread among the members of the Bad Batch, excitement and curiosity filled the air. Each member pondered over what awaited them, their imaginations running wild. But as they stepped inside the Marauder, their jaws dropped in surprise.
The interior of the ship had been transformed into something neither of them could ever imagine. Vibrant balloons floated cheerfully, adorning every corner, while colorful banners draped the walls, displaying the message ‘happy birthday’. A massive birthday cake, meticulously crafted (that none of them would believe that you made if you told them) took center stage on the control panel in the cockpit, its sugary aroma tantalising the senses of certain clones.
Hunter couldn't hide his surprise as he glanced around. "What's all this?" he inquired slowly, his eyes locking onto your mischievous grin.
"Happy birthday!" you exclaimed, a twinkle in your eyes.
The confusion on Tech's face was evident as he analysed the unexpected scene. "To whom are we celebrating?" he inquired, searching for answers amidst the festive chaos.
"All of you!" you proclaimed, your response causing Tech's brows to furrow even deeper as he struggled to comprehend the unusual situation unfolding before him.
Wrecker, ever the cheerful and boisterous one, erupted with joy, a wide grin stretching across his face. “Do we even have a birthday?” He wasted no time in donning a party hat, playfully placing one on Omega's head as well. He even attempted to coerce Echo into joining the festivities, though Echo's patience dwindled with each failed attempt, swatting Wrecker's hands away until the pink hat finally sat on his head.
“Well, with thanks to Omega she told me that you guys were actually… made….?” You trail off, unsure if that was the right terminology to use but it was clear to them what you meant, “on this day!”
Hunter chuckled and with a playful kick, he sent a balloon soaring across the room. "Really?" he inquired, a hint of amusement in his voice.
You nodded, a broad smile spreading across your face. Extending your hand, you exchanged a high-five with Omega, who beamed at her brothers. "Absolutely," you confirmed, your voice brimming with genuine enthusiasm. "I thought it would be a fantastic idea for you guys to celebrate something special, together!"
"That is rather interesting information for me to log, actually. I was never aware that it was this particular date," Tech remarked, a faint smile gracing his lips as he pulled out his data pad to record the newfound knowledge. "Although this type of celebration is not necessary for the likes of us. We were made to be expendable, not to have celebrations."
"Oh, lighten up, Tech," Crosshair chimed in, his voice laced with playful sarcasm. He swiped a bit of frosting from the cake with his finger and licked it off, savoring the sweetness. "Say thank you."
"I believe you are yet to say that," Tech quipped, glancing at his brother over the top of his data pad. Crosshair smirked in response, then turned his gaze toward you.
"They already know I am," he acknowledged, gratitude shining in his eyes.
Tech looked at you and offered a small smile. "I apologize. This is great. Thank you."
"No worries, it's just a little something," you replied cheerfully, refusing to let their banter dampen the festive atmosphere. After all, with cake, games, and party hats involved, it was hard to feel anything but joy.
The day unfolded seamlessly, with the boys and Omega basking in the celebration. Laughter filled the air as they reminisced about past missions, sharing humorous anecdotes that never failed to bring a smile to their faces. At one point, you pulled Echo aside, quietly reminding him that although the day wasn't specifically tailored to him, it actually coincided with the time when he joined the others.
"This is really kind of you," Echo expressed, seated beside you amidst the lively music within the Marauder.
"You guys have done a lot for me! It's only fair that you get a treat, even if it's just once a year," you responded softly, observing everyone's enjoyment. Even Crosshair seemed to be reveling in the fun.
As the night neared its end, each of the boys approached you individually, surprising you with heartfelt gestures of appreciation. They expressed their gratitude with hugs, while Tech opted for a handshake, true to his analytical nature. Crosshair, unexpectedly, even gave you an awkward side hug before retreating to his bunk, a smudge of frosting lingering on the corner of his lips.
"This meant a lot to us. Thank you," Hunter conveyed, being the last to embrace you. As he rubbed gentle circles on your back, you could sense the sincerity behind his words. He had always believed that he and his brothers didn't deserve the recognition they received, but seeing them all calm and content for once on their "birthday" made it all worthwhile. The vibrant and bold colors of the celebration had momentarily overwhelmed his senses, but he chose to say nothing, not wanting to spoil the experience for the others or undermine your effort.
With hearts full of gratitude and newfound memories to treasure, the boys all settled down to sleep, their hopes eagerly fixed on the promise of next year's celebration, just around the corner.

Jeff Rosenstock Throws a Rock and Roll Birthday Party at Terminal 5
Tumblr media
Jeff Rosenstock – Terminal 5 – September 7, 2023
It was Jeff Rosenstock’s birthday on Thursday and he celebrated with his band and thousands of raucous fans, playing the “biggest show we’ve ever played” at a packed Terminal 5. The mood was high-energy celebratory before they even took the stage, the crowd giddy with excitement, singing along with the preshow playlist to songs like “Life Is a Highway,” the band finally walking out (in birthday hats) to "Conga” by Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine, all but literally announcing, “Let’s get this party started.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The ensuing 75 minutes was pure rock and roll party, beginning with “Will U Still U,” a mosh pit opening on the floor within seconds of Rosenstock singing, “Will you still love me after I fucked up?,” fully exploding in a frenetic drums and guitar breakdown mid-song. The night was also a celebration of Rosenstock’s just-released album, Hellmode, and the set leaned heavily on the new material with plenty of old favorites in the mix. The show was like the mosh pit itself, appearing aggressive from the outside, lots of love and heart and mutual respect on the inside. A flag behind the band mixed pride colors and weed-leaf icons with “666,” and that take-all-comers energy infused the music and the crowd’s jubilant enthusiasm. Lyrics like “They wouldn’t be your friend if you weren’t worth something,” in “Festival Song,” and “Don’t you pretend / The world is treating us all equal,” in “3 Summers,” gave the mind something to chew on while bodies slammed into one another.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rosenstock slowed it down onetime mid-set for the almost-a-title-track “Healmode,” giving his songwriting a spotlight, the crowd noise falling to an impressive silence for a moment. But the rest of the night was an incendiary celebration, “Happy Birthday” being sung on more than one occasion and later teased in the intro to “You, in Weird Cities,” which built to a cathartic sing-along of “Whoa whoa whoa,” Rosenstock magically appearing upstairs at the back of the room on saxophone to coax the crowd along. The party went right up to curfew, as the best parties do, “We Begged 2 Explode” giving everyone one last chance to toast the birthday boy while he appropriately sang, “As we’re bouncing up and down trying to make the floor break / Stop sneering at our joy like it's a careless mistake.” —A. What is Dhuleti (Rangwali Holi)?
“Dhuleti” is another term commonly used to refer to the celebration of Holi, particularly in regions of India like Gujarat and Maharashtra.
It usually occurs on the day after the main day of Holi (Badi Holi).
During Dhuleti, people come together to play with colors, spray colored water (known as "abeer" or "gulal") on each other, dance to music, enjoy festive foods, and exchange greetings and sweets.
It's a vibrant and joyful occasion that symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring.
How is Holi celebrated in different parts of India?
Fundamentally, Holi is a festival that has a celebration spread across two days. The first day is Holika Dahan, which takes place in the evening. The following day is Dhuleti, where people play with colors, flowers, and water in the morning.
Holi is celebrated with distinct traditions across different regions of India, each adding its own unique cultural flavor to the festivities.
North India (Mathura and Vrindavan):
The birthplace of Lord Krishna, these cities observe Holi with exceptional zeal. The festivities here include the famous Lathmar Holi, where women playfully hit men with sticks, and the tradition is filled with singing and dancing.
West India (Rajasthan and Gujarat):
In Rajasthan, royal processions and folk dances add to the Holi charm. Gujarat celebrates with the pot-breaking ritual, where men form human pyramids to reach and break pots of buttermilk.
East India (West Bengal and Odisha):
In West Bengal, Holi, known as Dol Jatra, is celebrated with musical instruments, singing, and dancing. Idols of Radha and Krishna are placed on swings and worshipped.
South India (Karnataka and Tamil Nadu):
While Holi is less prominent here, communities come together to celebrate with music, dance, and the exchange of sweets. The focus is more on religious aspects and temple rituals.
Where can I celebrate Holi in India?
Holi can be celebrated in any household, community, residential setting, or hotel in India, as it is a very widely celebrated festival, and you will find everyone celebrating it.
However, to get the true sense of the Holi and Dhuleti celebrations, you must consider some special regions that take the whole celebration to the next level.
In Delhi, the festival is a musical extravaganza marked by tilak-adorned foreheads and spontaneous street parties. Varanasi's sacred ambience is heightened with colorful powders and riverside festivities. Anandpur Sahib offers a spiritual experience with martial parades and devotional music. Jaipur dazzles with elephant parades and palace events, while Goa's Shigmo brings folklore to life through parades and art. Vrindavan and Mathura draw devotees with their religious fervor, temple rituals, and less-crowded celebrations, truly showcasing India's diverse and rich festival culture.
Safety tips for Holi 2024:
Celebrating Holi safely enhances the joy of the festival. Here are some tips to ensure a safe and vibrant Holi:
Use natural colors:
Opt for organic and natural colors that are skin-friendly and easy to wash off. Chemical colors can be harmful to the skin and hair.
Protect Your Skin and Hair:
Apply oil to your skin and hair before playing Holi. This acts as a barrier and makes it easier to remove colors later.
Wear protective clothing.
Long sleeves and pants can protect your skin from harsh colors and the sun.
Keep Hydrated:
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, as Holi celebrations often mean being outdoors for extended periods.
Eye Care:
Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from colors, and if color gets into your eyes, rinse them with clean water immediately.
Respect Consent:
Always ensure that you play Holi with those who are willing to participate. Respect personal space and consent.
Safe Eating:
Enjoy Holi delicacies, but be cautious about consuming anything offered by strangers.
First Aid and Emergency Preparedness:
Keep a first-aid kit handy for any accidental injuries, and know the emergency contact numbers.
These safety measures will help everyone enjoy Holi while keeping health and well-being in mind.
Holi is more than just a festival; it's a day that brings hearts closer, mends broken bonds, and blankets the world in a spectrum of colors. It's a time when we can all let go of our inhibitions and truly revel in the joy of being together. So, this Holi, let's spread love, joy, and the vibrant colors of togetherness.

Part 3: A Day at the Village Fair
Amid autumn's golden landscape, memories of Unna lingered in the Cabeza Fridlein family's hearts. To weave new moments, Mertin, nostalgic yet eager, took Anna to the yearly village fair.
Held in a picturesque park, colorful banners fluttered while merriment echoed. Stalls lined the pathways, offering trinkets, toys, and delectable treats, inviting participation.
Near the fair's perimeter, an allocated spot held a horseshoe game. A merchant shouted, "Hey hey, come on by, try your luck at the horseshoe game, only 40§." Anna's eyes gleamed with excitement at the setup in the open space. "Papa, can we play the horseshoe game?" she asked, tugging at his sleeve.
Mertin hesitated briefly, eyeing the horseshoes and posts with concern. Their family faced challenging times, each coin held value. Yet, Anna's enthusiasm and her love for the game overcame his doubts. "Alright, my dear. We'll give it a try," he agreed, offering a smile.
Tumblr media
With each toss, Anna's aim improved, and Mertin couldn't help but be impressed by his daughter's determination and skill. They cheered each other on, celebrating each successful throw as if they were knights in a jousting match.
As the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow over the park, Mertin and Anna eventually called an amiable truce, both declaring each other the winner of the day's games. Their hearts filled with the warmth of a day well spent, they decided to head back home, content with the joy they had shared at the fair.
Tumblr media
Upon their return, they were greeted by Garcia, who was feeling a little under the weather. Despite her discomfort, she made sure to prepare a comforting broth for her family, ensuring they were well taken care of after their day of festivities.
As they gathered around the table, Anna couldn't help but share the excitement of the horseshoe game with Garcia. "Garcia, you should have seen it! I played horseshoes with father, and I almost won every time!" Anna exclaimed, her eyes glowing with happiness.
Tumblr media
Garcia smiled warmly at the enthusiasm in Anna's voice. "It sounds like you had fun, and that you were amazing, my dear." she replied smiling at them both. Mertin chuckled, feeling a sense of pride in his daughter's accomplishments.

Happy Ugadi
As we welcome the dawn of a new year, we celebrate Ugadi - the Telugu New Year - with joy and fervor. Ugadi is a festival that signifies new beginnings, fresh starts, and hope for the future.
Tumblr media
The word "Ugadi" is derived from two Sanskrit words - "Yuga" and "Adi," which mean "age" and "beginning," respectively. It marks the first day of the Chaitra month of the Hindu calendar, which usually falls in late March or early April.
Ugadi is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. The day begins with ritualistic prayers, followed by the preparation of a special dish called "Ugadi Pachadi." This dish is made with six different tastes - sweet, sour, bitter, salty, pungent, and astringent, symbolizing the different emotions of life.
The festival is also marked by various cultural events, such as dances, music, and colorful processions. People wear new clothes, decorate their homes with flowers and rangolis, and exchange greetings and sweets with their friends and family.
Ugadi is a time to let go of the past and embrace the future with renewed vigor and optimism. It reminds us that life is a cycle of beginnings and endings, and we must learn to adapt and move forward. This message of hope and resilience is especially relevant in these challenging times, as we navigate through the uncertainties of a post-pandemic world.
As we celebrate Ugadi 2023, let us embrace the spirit of new beginnings and strive to make this year one of growth, prosperity, and happiness. Let us cherish our traditions, honor our values, and come together to build a brighter future for ourselves and our communities.
On behalf of the Gleaming Aura team, we wish you all a very Happy Ugadi 2023! May this auspicious occasion bring you joy, peace, and prosperity.
