Campnano goals

So we are planning to do campnano this month!! We both have a goal of 10k words, but are working on different things. We are not counting our campaigns and roleplays but those will also be happening in the background!!

For me, I am using this for motivation to work on some things that I have been wanting to write for a while. I am hopefully starting a one shot campaign this month, and want to continue getting that developed. I also want to work on some writing prompts and a short imagine series I had planned. As well as write some backstory stuff for one of my characters. -R

Camp Nano Begins!

Like always, I've been away. A lot of shitty things have happened since the beginning of the year, starting with a major accident and the loss of my car back at the end of 2022. It all just happened to me while I was sitting, minding my own business. The car, health stuff, and rats.

Yeah, I adopted some more girls, thinking that my elders needed companionship as their sisters began to pass away from cancer... And the girls I adopted were pregnant. The shelter's fault. They didn't separate the boys from the girls. Four out of five of them gave birth. I went from having a handful of rats to over 60. They are way too adorable, but also consume my entire day at this point. My wife and I are spending all of our free time cleaning cages, giving the rats time in the play space, and cleaning the house so we can get yet another one of the multistory Critter Nation cages so the boys can have one and the girls can have one. On top of that, as much as we love these darlings with all of our hearts, we're also trying to find them homes.

I will not let any of this keep me from Camp Nano, however!

My plan is just to write as much as I can, as often as I can. If I spend a couple minutes a day throwing down words, that's what I do. Of course, being who I am, I'd also like to host some virtual write ins, comprised of some word challenges, prompt challenges, group chat while watching Camp videos on YouTube, and/or just quiet typing together times. So if you're interested, let me know.

Anyway, I've made it through the woods to the Rumbelle Tent and I'm throwing my bags down on that first bed by the steps. There's room for some tent-mates! Come on and join me!

So I'm meeting this challenge in the middle by doing a 21 day Challenge instead, to coincide with my book club reading of the book Badass Habits by Jen Sincero.
