Astrology Disciplines
Natal Astrology - Focuses on the natal/birth chart as it describes your life unfolding. While this can dip into predictive astrology this isn't a requirement. Some astrologers (like me!) may primarily focus on one's personality and environment that the natal chart describes vs. predicting events. Natal Astrology is also used to guide people in relationships and career.
Predictive Astrology - This discipline usually combines natal charts with current astrological positions and/or other chart types to predict the future. Horoscopes and analyzing the current day-to-day movements of planets is part of this practice. While secondary progressions are typically an introspective area of astrology, they may be used here for personal predictions.
Counseling Astrology - Historically there have been many counselors or therapists that combine their skills with astrology. Currently many therapists or counselors are likely to condemn the use of astrology in the field. But it is worth notating that this is a type of astrological discipline that has existed and played a major role in shaping modern astrology. e.g. Carl Jung.
Synastry - This branch of astrology is used to analyze relationships. The famous synastry chart would be used here along with composite charts. Technically comparing two natal charts for chemistry and compatibility would fall under this type of astrology. This could be debated among astrologers, but you can find books/text that group any type of relationship readings under the "synastry" discipline. (My other specialty 😊)
Medical Astrology - A type of astrology that typically uses the natal chart along with astrological medical associations to conduct a reading. The humours, Sun Sign, planetary ruler, chart ruler, and elemental balance play a large role here. The 6th House is important as well. Medical astrologers typically approach health holistically and usually prescribe appropriate herbs or homeopathic remedies. Because I never want to mislead someone medically or scientifically, please research and approach this style of astrology with caution.
Karmic Astrology - Many different types of charts may be used here depending on the astrologer and client's goals. Here astrology is focused on dealing with struggles of the present based on a past life. This type of astrology is used to help people stop negative patterns or cycles. Many also use this type of astrology to connect with their spiritual selves or to incorporate spiritualism into their lives. Natal Charts, Relationship Charts, Secondary Progressions, and Draconic Charts may all be used. Some astrologers may also incorporate other spiritual methods into their practice such as tarot, dice, runes, etc.
Horary Astrology - These astrologers deal in specific questions such as "Should I move?", "Should I adopt a new pet?", "Should I make a career change?". This is a mixture of predictive astrology and advice. A chart is usually prepared for the exact time the question was asked. This form of astrology focuses on current astrological positions and has a unique set of rules due to its immediate nature.
Electional Astrology/Event Astrology - This type of astrology is used to help predict when one should start an event. This type of astrology is highly focused on the timing of something. Common uses of this are to plan a trip or wedding. Historically planning an attack or battle falls under this type of astrology. An Entrepeneur might use this type of astrology to find the best time to start a business or launch a product. This type of astrology may use or reference the natal chart and depends greatly on current astrological placements and tracking future dates and celestial movements.
Mundane Astrology - This discipline focuses on world events, politics, and socioeconomic trends. This form of astrology has its own unique set of rules and multiple methods. Charts may be drawn up for people, nations, cities, groups, organizations, and many more elements depending on the subject. This form of astrology may take a lot of analysis across multiple charts and reports.
Business Astrology - The practice of making business decisions based on astrological advice. Some astrologers may consult business owners using multiple methods that can cross over to the other disciplines. Finances, investments, and relationship building are all themes for this type of astrology, but the core focus is to guide and grow a business.

Inconjunct/Quincunx Signs & the Yod Configuration in a Chart
Tumblr media
When there are planets involved, inconjunct signs essentially form a Yod. In astrology, a Yod, often called the "Finger of God," is a rare and powerful aspect pattern formed by three planets. It resembles an isosceles triangle, with two planets forming a sextile aspect (60 degrees apart) and both quincunxing (150 degrees) a third planet. The inconjunct planet becomes the apex planet of the Yod and represents the focal point of tension and adjustment in a person's life. It is where the energies of the sextile planets converge and manifest in a unique, often challenging way, pushing the individual to address specific issues or life lessons associated with that planet. The apex planet in a Yod serves as a catalyst for personal growth and can indicate a significant life purpose or area of intense focus. Astro observations #4
❆ 12th house rules over hidden enemies and when someone’s Mars falls into ur 12th house can sometimes be very dangerous cuz these ppl will pretend to have ur back while they’re actually stabbing ur back and they are really good at hiding their ill intentions and most times ppl find out until it’s too late.
❆ moon square saturn natives are more prone to catch colds and get sick .
❆ Ppl really underestimate Libra moons and have no idea how vindictive people with this placement are , think twice before u mistake their kindness as weakness
❆ Ppl with Mercury negatively aspecting Saturn can be very close minded
❆ North node in the 8th house can be an indicator of a very long life
❆ Pluto/Saturn/Chiron in the 4th house , Capricorn/Scorpio moon , moon square Saturn/Pluto these ppl came to this life to break generation curses/trauma. So yes u are the main character
❆ Scorpio/Pluto/Lilith in the 1st house most important lesson to learn is forgiveness ik it may sound impossible to do in some cases cuz these natives go through alot of suffering and betrayals and it’s really hard for them to let go and forget but the more they try the more comfortable you’ll be later on.
❆ If u wanna look of inspirations when it comes to makeup looks and fashion and stuff u should look at celebrities with the same rising sign as yours.
❆ Libra or venus in the 2nd house mostly find self love and gain confidence through other people
Thanks for reading feel free to correct or ask me about something 🔮💙

The zodiac sign on the rising of your solar return chart sets the tone for your entire year. It’s good to get your solar return chart read around your birthday every year as a yearly horoscope so you can know what to expect, such as major themes and possible setbacks.
This year I had Taurus rising in my solar return chart, so I knew going into 2023 that community and group identity would be important themes for this year. Next year I have Leo Rising, making personal identity, self awareness, and my relationship to authority figures a major theme for 2024.
You can also look at the zodiac rising in your lunar return chart to cast a monthly horoscope on the day the moon enters your natal moon sign. You get 13 lunar returns a year (and they make a nice little spreadsheet if you are so inclined.)

SUMMARY
Sun-Mercury, Sun-Venus, Sun-Jupiter: work well together
Sun-Moon, Sun-Mars: the nature of the aspect is important, as well as the signs involved
Sun-Saturn, Sun-Uranus, Sun-Neptune, Sun-Pluto: regardless of the aspect, it's challenging
Tumblr media
Sun tends to work really well with Mercury, Venus and Jupiter even if the aspect is a challenging one. The reason is that these three provide more accessible outlets for the Sun to put itself out there. This trio supports Sun's expression and gives it the freedom it needs. Mercury and Venus are never straying too far from the Sun, the distance between Sun and Mercury never being more than 28°, while the distance between Sun and Venus is never more than 48°. Mercury might be the fastest way for the Sun to express itself since you can just communicate, regardless if another person is involved or not (Venus). Venus is the one who teaches the Sun the importance of relating to other people and connecting with them. After all, relationships can show you the different ways in which you can express yourself, but also reveal sides of you that you might not be aware of. Then Jupiter comes in and really boosts everything. Not only does it tell the Sun "hey, let me show you how you can expand", but it also reveals to the Sun how far expression can go. Overdoing it is not necessarily a good thing, but can provide our Sun with the opportunity to grow.
If we talk about Sun-Moon and Sun-Mars, it really depends on the aspect between them (the signs play a role). Even though the Sun is our ego (or as I like calling it, our core), making it part of our inner world, it's more outside-oriented. Meanwhile, the Moon which represents our feelings and reactions is also part of our inner world but has less drive to be out there so this can cause tension when the aspect between these two is a challenging one. What a challenging aspect does is create an imbalance, especially since the Moon's energy is quicker to change and adapt compared to Sun's. Sun-Mars combo is basically a ball of energy+another ball of energy = energy overload, in a way. It doesn't matter if we talk about harmonious or challenging aspects, Mars is really fueling the Sun. Put ego and drive together and you get something that will pursue what it wants through whatever methods it has at its disposal. As someone that's having a conjunction, I feel this is one pair where awareness and active effort are needed to keep it balanced as you can easily fall into the other extreme.
When it comes to struggles, regardless of the aspect, the Sun is not having a great time when it's teaming up with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Sun-Saturn has a lot of good things going on since Saturn will teach the Sun about limits, boundaries, discipline, responsibility, modesty, and so on, but all of these come with a price: restriction. I imagine this pair as taking a lit lightbulb and covering it with something. You can see its light peeking through, but it's not as bright as it should be. It doesn't sound too good, but sometimes you need to dim the light in order to see what else is there. Saturn doesn't dim the Sun's light forever, quite contrary I feel, it creates the opportunity to make it brighter after what needs to be learned is learned. If with all the other planets it's all about the Sun, when it meets Uranus it becomes a bit more about the others too. After all, Uranus' influence triggers the need to make yourself unique among other people. It's not the "one-up everyone" case, but rather "what differentiates me from others". When the Sun connects with Neptune, this is where the Sun risks losing itself, temporarily or not. Even though this comes packed with intuition, inspiration, sensitivity, and ideals, it also brings daydreaming, seeing something as something that it's not, and sometimes even confusion. In a way, we can say that with Sun-Neptune it's easier to put on the rose-colored glasses and harder to take them off. As for Sun and Pluto, I feel like this one is heavier for the Sun than the other ones. Pluto's energy brings in things that are not easy to deal with, be it transforming the ego or dealing with the so-called "shadow". Even if the Sun wants to or not, it's pushed into dealing with whatever Pluto is throwing at it. In a way, it seems that Pluto brings forth things that have the potential to break the Sun in an attempt to teach it that, even if you break, it doesn't mean it's over and that you're gone. After all, when something ends, something else begins.

House meanings in astrology part II
Rejoice, part II is finally here.
7TH HOUSE: the other, one-on-one relationships, partnerships, open enemies
Okay so the now that we've covered the first half of the houses, let's look at their respective opposites. And they should, in fact, be looked at as second halves: opposites in a way but ones that compliment each other.
The 7th house is the most straight-forward in that matter. The 1st is pertaining to us - the 7th reflects people we come in contact with. It shows how we behave towards people and how our closer relationships look like; and what we want from a relationship. Are we lucky with people? Are people lucky with us?
I've made a post a while back where I briefly mention planets in the 7th house, so you can look it up HERE if you want but the rule is quite simple: for example, usually people with stellium or a planet that's prominent in the chart (like an ascendant ruler or final dispositor) in the 7th are, well, people's people (or people pleasers). If no harsh aspects nor malefics are present (and the 7th ruler is in a nice condition) we may expect to get along well with others and sign successfull contracts. Planets on the descendant may also indicate business partnerships or having a career that requires a one-to-one contact with the other person, especially if it's connected with the 10th, 11th or 6th house in some way.
On the other hand, not that you can do something about it but, I do not recomment having malefics in the 7th. A badly placed planet in the 7th can at one point in your life bring unpleasant relationship(s) or legal issues. This is also why the open enemies thing is, well... a thing.
Also, really, do not get married before your Saturn return if you have Saturn in the 7th. And I really encourage you to take into consideration your chart using whole sign for this.
Now when it comes to romantic partnerships... My theory may sound controversial so some might hate it but hear me out cause it makes sense. I know we all say 7th house is *just* commited relationships BUT it's only because nowadays it's normal to not get married - the social pressure to legalize a relationship is not as present as it used to be, at least in the western countries. Also, some cannot get married due to laws in certain places. But 7th is about legal stuff and contracts (and what is a marriage if not a contract, ultimately) and I don't think a commited relationship, even if it's long-term, that hasn't been legalized fits into that category. And I'm saying this because I've seen people who have been together for ages and their relationships were amazing UNTIL they got married and once they did, they quickly divorced (and their charts show potential problems in the area of the 7th house). So I feel like I'm onto something here (and before you ask, for your non-legalized relationships just look at Venus, Mars, Sun or Moon btw). So, looking at the state of your 7th house and it's ruler, you can actually see not only if you'll ever get married (or how many times) but also, if it's good for you to get married in the first place. Or at least the way you perceive the idea of marriage.
BUT that is just a theory and some food for thought for you guys.
8TH HOUSE: other people's money, taxes, inheritance, death or transformative experiences
The 2nd house is the house of our money and posessions, the 8th on the other hand, is other people's stuff and what we can gain from others. This is why it also connects to death - something (or someone) has to die in order for us to gain from it.
But it also comes after the 7th house - the union - which leads us to joined resources that we've gained from the 7th house activities. Whether it's money we now share with our spouse or money that we've attained from a business contract, it's all an 8th house topic. It's also common that 8th house people work with other people's assets, for example having a job as an accountant or working in a bank. Or, better yet, as it connects to the death and loss, as an insurance agent.
On the downside, the money matters can be more negative in the 8th. It's taxes, it's loans - things that you owe to others. People with planets in the 8th may easily persuade others to give them big amounts of money. Now depending on the planets and their dignity, this can go from having the ability to crowdfund thousands of dollars from strangers or easily getting loans from banks to having no problems lending money from people but then having issues returning the cash.
Inheritance is also a thing in the 8th house, although you need to remember that this doesn't pertain to material things only. You can inherit a lot of things, including, obviously, money, a house or a land, timeshares (2nd and 4th house rulers in the 8th); a business (a 10th house ruler in the 8th); you can inherit a skill that runs in the family... (4th or 5th house ruler), a disease (6th house ruler) or an unpaid loan. So it's not just about receiving goods from others.
And speaking of which, we have the topic of death. Now this is also very broad and can also be metaphorical, hence the connection to transformation. I don't know if you can look at a chart and tell how someone's going to die, I don't think it's that literal. But I've seen malefics, badly aspected or ill-dignified planets in the 8th bringing people a lot of losses in their life.
9TH HOUSE: higher education, abroad, religion & belief systems, astrology & the occult
3rd house matters are getting expanded and now instead of primary education and our closest surroundings, we have higher education and foreign lands. A very positive house, I feel like we upgrade here.
The 9th house talks about all the things surrounding the topic of higher education: if we go to university, how well (or bad lol) we'll do, are we ambitious; also often describes the major itself. It can also show someone who works in the academic field or is a teacher themself, especially if the 10th house ruler is in the 9th or the MC lands in the 9th house (both also often show working abroad).
But it not only expands our knowledge in that sense - it's also about having an open mind, expanding it & digging into the unknown, looking for a deeper meaning; the intangible. That's why it connects to things like astrology or the occult; spirituality or religion. It's also what we feel is right; it's the law and order. So it shows our belief systems or even hope (although the 11th rules hopes and dreams) - for example, people with malefic planets in the 9th might not only reject spirituality or religions (or have a bumpy experience with them), but can also struggle believing in things that are positive, it's like they can't see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes and are left feeling hopeless.
Because it's about even more knowledge than the 3rd and things that are foreign, it's also exploration through things like journalism; it's sharing these things through publishing. It's looking for the truth and shedding the light on it through writing and reporting.
Finally the 9th house rules all things foreign: foreign countries & coultures and abroad travels. So people with heavy 9th house or a heavily aspected 9th ruler can feel more at home when they're away from home. Their lives may include lots of travels and foreigners. Or a foreign influence (depending on the planet and what said planet rules): having foreign roots, having family members migrate abroad, living, working or studying abroad, marrying a foreigner etc.
10TH HOUSE: career, your legacy, public life, reputation
This is the last of the angular houses so we get major themes once again. It's also a pretty straightforward house. Opposite to the 4th, which stands for our roots, private life, our cosy home situation - we now deal with what we represent, our legacy, public life and career. It's what we're known for (for good or bad); it's where we shine (or what blocks us from shining); what we can or want to achieve.
10th house is (usually) marked by the MC, which is the highest point in our chart. So, quite simply, the 10th house often shows your job, your reputation and your status. It can mean how ambitious you are. If there's a planet on your MC, it not only says what you're going to be known for - it can also say that you want that part of you to be the best it can be. For example, if you have Mercury on the MC, it can show that you want to be seen as an intellectual, as someone well-spoken and communicative. Look at what house that planet rules as well - you may have literally high standards when it comes to topics ruled by it.
Using a couple of examples, Saturn in the 10th house can show someone who's a workaholic, someone who is very hard on themself or is climbing the ladder slowly but surely through hard work and dedication. Alternatively, it can show someone who has issues with getting and keeping a job or someone who is constantly scrutinized and judged by the public (or in the workplace). This can also show someone who is dealing a lot with authority figures… or is one themself.
A nicer example, maybe you have Venus in the 10th house and you're known for your looks and charm; you know how to show your good side to the public; or you're just well-received. You may work in art or beauty field; you may work with money or as a counsellor. You may find love through your work or you may be attracted to people who are well-estabished. If Venus is in a favourable sign or is nicely aspected, your career/public life should be pretty pleasurable and harmonious.
And as I've mentioned while discussing the 4th house, if you use whole sign (or sometimes equal), just like the IC, the MC can be placed in different houses, which is pretty important. I've already gave an example with MC being in the 9th house - so you just ADDITIONALLY migrate the 10th house activity to a different house. Your 10th still represents all these things but the placement of the MC can show you what area of your life you're going to shine the most, or what area of your life can be further linked to your career or what you're known for. For example, if it's in the 11th house, it can be linked to your friends, networking or the internet.
11TH HOUSE: hopes and dreams, friends, groups, networking & the internet
The last of the succedent houses. It's a bit of a busy one but also, just like the 9th, more bright and positive. The contrast between the 11th and 5th is maybe not as obvious as with other houses but it's still there. In the 5th house we're doing our thing, being creative, tinkering, doing things for fun and for ouselves - now in the 11th house we not only come in contact with bigger groups of people (as the 5th is either just us or our children or intimate partners) but we get these things and we share them with others: we share our joys with friends, we share our creativity with like-minded people who enjoy whet we do.
But why is it also a house of hopes and dreams? Well because as planets are rising above the horizon, they go through the 11th house before they hit the 10th. So it's all about striving for greatness and looking up at the heights of our potential. It's also connected to the 10th in the sense of how you're being perceived among others.
The 11th is then a house of friends and groups: how are we finding ourselves among them, what's our friend circle like, where do we feel we belong or on the contrary, do we feel alienated. It's how we connect with others; the community. This also makes it the house of internet and social media. And social gatherings.
On top of that, it's also fan groups - if you're someone who has an audience. And speaking of which, I firmly believe that 11th house is the house of bands so, if you have nice things going on in your 11th, maybe it would be a good idea to form a group with your friends and be creative together? Just a thought. Unless you have Sun there and you want to be the one shining among others ;)
11th is also social work, especially if it's connected to the 6th, 12th or 10th house.
Generally speaking then, having benefics, Sun or Moon in the 11th can point to not only pleasant experiences with people and being a social butterfly but also receiving help from friends - it's what you benefit from after all. Malefics can be more alienating (especially Saturn), selective or can bring potential clashes and difficulties among social groups and friends - Saturn brings limitations while Mars cuts so it's not uncommon that a person with configuration like this suffers some unfortunate friendships. But as always, everything depends on the state of the planets.
Now let's incorporate a few examples with house rulers: like a 2nd house ruler in the 11th can mean money gained through friends; a 7th house ruler in the 11th can mean meeting your romantic partner through friends or a social event - or, alternatively, a friend becoming your life partner.
12TH HOUSE: all that's hidden, self-undoing, dreams & the subconscious, succlusion, loss, our mental state, sickness
Probably the most disliked house alongside the 8th. It's what we don't see because, as I've said when I discussed the 1st house, 12th is behind our backs so to speak. Ultimately, it's the house of being alone: alone in your head or in your little bubble; alone in your sickness or addiction; alone doing inner work; feeling alienated or ostracized; being literally isolated whether in some sort of facility or somewhere in a foreign land where you feel like you don't belong. Also, it's about being selfless and doing charity work.
But let's start from the moe positive aspects. It's the house of dreams, the subconscious and intuition. People with 12th house activity, especially nicer planets, can have a colourful inner life; a lot of vivid or even prophetic dreams; a deep spiritual life - which makes it a bit similar to the 9th house but the difference is, there's a sense of sacrifice and self-reflection in the 12th house. It's also the house of meditation and things of that nature. So, it often happens, again, similarly to the 9th, that people with ill-dignified planets or Saturn in the 12th are sceptics and are only interested in scientific facts and the here and now.
And speaking of here and now, as opposed to the 6th house, 12th is all that's untangible. Just like the 6th it does also talk about health but about mental health or chronic illnesses - illnesses that aren't seen (as opposed to things like injuries) or illnesses that force you to be isolated from the outside world; bad mental states, fears and anxieties. Other connections to the 6th are animals - but the big ones... and service - to those that are in need, especially those that are in a succlusion themselves.
Being isolated means a lot of things in the 12th. It can be that you often spend your time alone because you like and need to sit in your own company a lot. It can mean working behind the scenes in some way - can be anywhere but especially in a closed facilities like hospitals, care facilities or prisons. Can also be retreats. Alternatively, it's all that's foreign but to the point of feeling lost - in the 9th house you go to different lands, explore, learn and expand your horizons, while in the 12th you're almost astray, heading into the unknown, fighting with your own fears and the feeling of disorientation. Well, at least in the beginning.
It's also the house of addictions and being under the influence. It's the place of loss and secrets. Because it's everything that's hidden from us, it's also hidden enemies. Interestingly, because the sign of the 12th house was rising just before the 1st (aka before your birth), it's the place of labour and your mother's pregnancy. It's kinda fascinating to see how planets in the 12th house often talk about how the pregnancy went and how was your mother doing while carrying you. For example, I've seen malefics in the 12th house pointing to a tough pregnancy or a pregnancy that was at some point at risk in some way.

Sidereal Leo risings will not let you see them sweat. They could've just had a whole breakdown and will come out smiling like everything's just fine. You just gotta know them to know that sometimes the happiness and confidence is a facade.
They play the role of the strong friend. Lifting everyone up, whole time they need help too, and probably drowning at that. They literally have Scorpio on the 4h, they endure their mess in private. You won't know shit or see shit unless they trust you and want you to.

The Signs and "The Truth"
Note: the truth has been and will always be subjective. This merely tracks how each sign deals with the truth as they see it. Also, keep in mind that this is in reference to the Lights of the natal horoscope: the Sun, the Moon, and the Ascendant - each person is a combination of all three of these signs (and since truth is most often spoken, Mercury placements may be relevant here as well). Additionally, this is not putting any moral value on truthiness just observations of the signs.
Aries tells the truth because lies require maintenance and they don't want to look backward to keep track. (Mars) Taurus may tell small white lies to avoid conflict but generally tells the truth because it's easier. (Venus) Gemini has looked at so many possibilities that they no longer know the truth (if they ever did). (Mercury) Cancer likes to believe that they tell the truth but will use falsehood to control and manipulate those they love. (the Moon) Leo is secretly worried that they are lying about how great they are. (the Sun) Virgo tells the truth because only through looking at things as they actually are can improvements happen. (Mercury) Libra lies to keep the peace and to try to keep their others happy and pacified. (Venus) Scorpio tells so many lies that they often don't remember what the truth was anymore. (Mars/Pluto) Sagittarius says whatever is on their mind which could be the truth, but is as likely to be a flight of fantasy. (Jupiter) Capricorn will lie so that you leave the alone so that they can get back to work but prefers to tell the truth. (Saturn) Aquarius prides themselves on truth-telling as abrasively as possible. (Saturn/Uranus) Pisces lives in a mostly unconscious fantasy world of their own construction and actively denies reality, avoiding the truth. (Neptune)

🜄 Elements IV - Water 🜄
— Astro Notes
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are signs that are associated with water. It is the element of emotion, and people with these placements are known for having a wide range of emotions. Their extremely aware natures occupy a special psychological and spiritual spot in the zodiac and are always in touch with their sensitive sides. Water, the only element that is solely symbolized by animals, serves as a reminder that passion and instinct are more powerful than reason. These signs hold the water of divine love, like the holy grail, and when they are full, they overflow with delight.
But like any other component, a good thing can be overused. Empathetic water signs have a tendency to become engrossed in other people's or their own emotions when riding the emotional waves. Water energy can become stagnant and poisonous when it is weak or blocked, lash out in toxic or bitter ways, and cry victim the entire time. Water can also stifle imagination or fervor, which can occasionally transform these indications into the classic wet blankets.
However, this too has a purpose. Water calms and cools us when we become overheated in rage, and when we become numb in desperation, it cradles and warms us. These signs serve as a gentle reminder that water is the mother of all life and that without her, there would be no life on earth, whether they are using their rushing currents to manifest (Cancer), sustain (Scorpio), or explore (Pisces).

on the meaning of aspects in astrology:
conjunction aspect (0 to 8/10 degrees)
The most powerful aspect in astrology.
It combines the energy of 2 planets that conjunct one another, together.
Kind of creates a new energy, with a different effect
These are mixed energies. There are conjunctions that are considered better (harmonious and pleasant) between planets and there are those that are not comfortable for the 2 planets to create such an aspect to one another, it is not natural for them.
*****
trine (120 degrees)
A harmonious flow of energy, subconscious. It flows all the time, the 2 planets are always in communication and energetic flow with each other. There are no conflicts, both planets are of the same element (water, air, earth or fire) and therefore there is a good flow between them.
Trine = trine between signs of the same element - for example:
Gemini to Aquarius, Aquarius to Libra, Libra to Gemini.
The 120° aspect creates a harmonious relations of these signs together and a subconscious understanding of one another.
*****
sextile (60 degrees)
A productive harmonious flow of energies between the planets forming the aspect.
It does not operate subconsciously and there is no constant flow, unlike the trine. It more shows a person who is able to produce the cooperation between these 2 planets in a sextile aspect when he needs to. (For example Aries and Gemini are in sextile with each other).
In a certain outlook, sextile may be better than trine, in terms of the person's awareness of the process.
Because Trine can make a habit of everything flowing "smoothly" and thus not even use the skills that this aspect gives him with the planets, and it loses the effectiveness and potential inherent in this aspect.
*****
Square (90 degrees)
Square creates tension. It causes disharmony in one's life in the planetary context that creates the square.
It creates a type of misbehavior, whether violent communication, lack of self-confidence, reluctance or unwillingness to accept change, all of these things can easily arise because of a square aspect. Most often it is caused by a crisis in childhood.
When the person felt powerless in the planetary aspect of the square therefore he did not learn how to act harmoniously in the area of his life or in the area that the planets are responsible for.
But at the same time he creates action, he does not let a person be unproductive. There is always a push forward, and the square can be channeled for the better as soon as you are aware of it and learn how.
Square aspect= a square that creates tension, an aspect of 90°.
Signs that are of the same modality (mutable/cardinal/fixed) but not of the same element (water/fire/earth/air)
That is:
Gemini and Virgo for the purpose of the example are signs of same modality, Gemini an air element and Virgo an earth element
This creates an energy of constant tension that exists between the two zodiac signs despite their ability to find common ground that is similar to them (mutable).
A less recommended combination when it comes to sun signs in the superficial aspect, unless there are other aspects in the birth charts that indicates otherwise
*****
Opposition aspect (180 degrees)
A harsh aspect. It is more of a dissonance between the spheres of the planets that form the aspect. There is always a tendency to suppress one of the planets when the other takes over. There's tension in the areas of the planet, the energy is always charged.
*Signs forming 180 degrees* -
Aries-Libra
Scorpio-Taurus
Gemini--Sagittarius
Cancer-Capricorn
Leo-Aquarius
Virgo-Pisces
*****
Inconjunct aspect (150 degrees)
Let's take Gemini for example (yes, as you might have already figured out, I'm a Gemini)
Gemini and Scorpio/ Gemini and Capricorn are in °150>
An easier way to remember which signs are in 150°, remember that it's one sign before or after the opposite sign of each zodiac axis.
So what does it mean?
We know that °180 is an opposite aspect between 2 signs in the same axis, this means that one sign before the opposite sign to the sign for which we are looking for a 150° aspect, and one sign after the sign, will give us an inconjunct aspect of 150°.
Scorpio/Capricorn will be in inconjunct aspect to Gemini.
This aspect actually symbolising in astrology, zodiac signs that have no common involvement, like their elements are in a non-harmonious aspect (Gemini Air, Scorpio water, creates a disharmonious aspect) yin and yang, and are in different modality (Gemini mutable modality, Scorpio fixed modality.)
But, if we are looking deeper beyond the superficial, there is a spiritual attraction to the same sign alongside the difficulties, they have a certain common ground in a spiritual karmic aspect than in the practical level.
In reference to the aforementioned example, mainly to Gemini and Scorpio, compared to Gemini and Capricorn.
Gemini and Scorpio both deal with underworlds, secrets, psychological learning and manipulation.
*****
In conclusion:
*** Square aspect (90 degrees between one planet and another, red square)
A difficult aspect
Opposition aspect (180 degrees aspect from one planet to another)
A difficult aspect
Quinox aspect/inconjunct (150 degrees from planet to planet)
A difficult aspect
Trine aspect (120 degrees, triangle) harmonic aspect flows easily
Sextile aspect (60 degrees, hexagonal) harmonious energy between the planets
Conjunction aspect (the strongest combination between the involved planets (0 to 10 degrees from each other). A combination of 2 planets that mix together. The most powerful aspect in the chart.
Honourable mention-
***Stellium-a planetary cluster of 4 or more objects (3 if 2 of them involve personal planets such as Mercury, Venus, Mars, or luminaries- Sun and Moon). This cluster can form a stellium if it is:
1. The placement of these planets takes place in a house in the chart where there are more than 4 planets that do not exceed a distance of 10 degrees from the first planet in the lowest degree of the placement in that house, up to the last planet).***
2. The planets are in the same sign, and they are not only generational/social planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter)
(Asteroids do not take part in the stellium, neither do axis (ASC, MC, IC and DSC)***

Your sun sign in astrology
Your sun sign in astrology is who you think you are and the reason many people say astrology is fake.
If your sun sign is in Capricorn, you aren't the way you are because of that. Do you know how many people are born when the sun is in Capricorn? So many, all of you cannot be the same.
So let's look at the meaning of the sun and rulership.
Each zodiac sign is ruled by a planet, but some signs have more than one planet ruling them. Each planet, also rules a house.
There are twelve zodiac signs in the order Aries, Taurus,Gemini, Cancer,Leo,Virgo,Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Each zodiac has a house, to make it easier think of houses as location. That makes twelve houses, each house ruled by a planet.
The Sun rules the fifth sign, which rules the fifth house, which is the house of fun, creativity, children, the stage(acting). The fifth sign is Leo.
The sun is like a spotlight on you on the stage. So when the sun is in Capricorn, the sun is shining a light on Capricorn. Making Capricorn visible and to stand out. So of course, when the spotlight is on you, being seen is what you want.
However, you are also what's outside the spotlight. Just because you can't see outside the spotlight, doesn't mean there is nothing there.
So when you put your details in a birth chart calculator, you get to see everything that is away from the sun(spotlight). If you have your exact birth time and birth location, then you can check which house your sun is in for more insight on a highlighted theme of your life.
For instance you are a Capricorn sun and Aries rising, your sun is in your tenth house. So you might find yourself being very traditional and working hard.
Also, the degree of your sun can tell you a lot about yourself.
You could all be Capricorns born in the same year and date but your degrees are different.
Capricorn at fifteen degrees may communicate things sternly, Capricorn at four degrees may find themselves sticking to traditional methods of cooking and cleaning, Capricorn at eight degrees may behave like an accountant. Remember, the position of the sun in your chart will tell you more.
