Is it a hot take to say I’m actually fine with Lokius not being canon? I feel like the fact that it isn’t canon gives us so much more subtext to play with and interpret, and the creative possibilities are even more immense because of the fact that less is made explicit on the page.

#OP makes a wonderful point here but here’s my own little soapbox that I understand not everyone will agree with #A petty part of me is tired of feeling trapped into stories that end up like this in media.#As a fandom veteran im tired of feeling like having to settle for queer ships with significant subtext being ‘left to interpretation.’#I still see it as a way for creators to dance around queer themes to appease certain audiences (coughdisneycough)#I used to love the symbolic nature of these things but now im just *tired.*#Give me exploration of established relationships (whatever that may be) i promise it can be JUST as interesting
