Thinking again about how “you kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath” has driven so many of Taylor’s relationship, even with Joe to a certain extent, and she seems to have finally realized that oath is no longer worth keeping because it’s actually a curse she’s finally broken 🙃

I guess you could make the argument that being a demigod grants her immunity but that's less interesting to me #The fight to remember her life and herself through the years of stasis while also shutting every emotion down. I think what we see of her i #the game—esp her emotion towards the end—is the cracks in her armor that she deliberately doesn't fix because she knows one way or another #all of this will end. the burden is off her shoulders

so this is my secret little dream. that despite people having differing opinions, people being cruel and nasty about yours, people sending anon hate and open hate, despite knowing that we live in a world where taylor is treated more as a consumer product than a person sometimes... i hope that you can find a way to enjoy this piece of art that she's putting out into the world for us in 2 weeks. she wants to tell us a story, and it's an honor to be her audience. try and focus on the positive and your love for her music and her art rather than the other crap crowding your social media. let yourself live and enjoy it. i know it's not that simple and black and white most of the time, but do what you can to be gentle with yourself and remember to log off when you need to as well.
