Basic introduction

Name: Trinity Elloise Gant

Nicknames: Trin (in almost all circumstances), Trini (to specific individuals who knew her when she was younger)

Age varies because my timeline is long and convoluted enough to span 4-5 generations. Born in 2275. In game in 76, she's in her early twenties

Birthday: 16th July

Gender: Cis female (I think?)

Orientation: Aroace and firmly not interested in anything at all relationship-wise. She's a dedicated single pringle

Backstory (short version): Trin is the child of one Cipher parent and one parent raised in the California BoS. She spent time living among both of these factions whilst growing up, and also spent a lot of time on the road travelling with her family. She never felt that she truly fitted in with either of the two groups that raised her (the Brotherhood side would think of her as 'the Cipher kid', and vice versa), and so as soon as she was deemed old enough to travel independently, she headed out as far as she dared away from all links to her past and tried to make a fresh start for herself in West Virginia. After living there for around six months to a year, she was exposed to the Scorched Plague juuust before she became aware of the Nuka Cola vaccine. Whoops

Appearance

General: She's somewhere around 5'6-5'8, and kind of similar to JJ in overall build (which is Long with disproportionately long legs- though hers aren't as glaringly out of proportion as his). Pale AF

Hair: Black and naturally straight and thin. For most of her life, she's just kept it cut uniformly short and not made any special attempts to style it. Recently in game she allowed Beckett to shave half of her head and currently enjoys the change

Eyes: Dark brown. Once had her sclera turn yellow thanks to Scorchery

Distinguishing marks: She has both earlobes and one nostril pierced, but doesn't always wear jewelry there. Has a large scar across her cheekbones, also thanks to Scorchery

Clothing style: Conflicting styles, often colourful, and overall pretty confused-looking. She just wears what she likes the look of, with zero damns given. Doesn't intentionally dress to stand out, but some of her clothing choices end up having that effect

A fully canon-compatible version of her would also need to have a perk/trait for her particular flavour of Scorchedness. Possible effects would include Scorched sometimes not being hostile towards her (especially if it's only one or two in an area rather than a big group), some level of resistance to radiation and toxins, and increases in AP, running speed, and maybe aggression (if she was a companion, which is the lens I planned this perk/trait out through) in the Cranberry Bog

Weapon preference: Electrified, energy or otherwise mechanical melee weapons. Examples she's used are shocking batons, shishkebabs, drills, and a plasma cutter that was her only weapon for about 50 levels of gameplay

Companions: Well, 76 doesn't exactly have that mechanic, but I consider Sofia, Beckett and Kayli (OC CAMP ally who's her childhood friend from Lost Hills) to occasionally accompany her on adventures. The closest thing she has to a true companion in the Fallout sense would be her cat, Juliet

Brotherhood of Steel: Her thoughts do vary from chapter to chapter, and there are definitley individuals within the BoS that she admires greatly, but in general, she's not a fan of their whole shebang. She was actually pleasantly surprised to be given the unique title of Knight-Errant in recognition of her other ties outside the Brotherhood, but she still never uses it outside of necessity

Ciphers: She has great respect for them and their dedication to their way of life, and feels like she'll never be good enough to be of much use or truly fit in with them. Almost intimidated by some individuals (*cough* Vari *cough*) in a very imposter syndrome-y way

Cult of the Mothman, Children of Atom: She's absolutely fascinated by these guys, but hasn't found them very approachable or open to questions...

Rust Eagles: Again, she finds them interesting, but there's a layer of suspicion as to their true intentions and long-term goals

Blue Ridge Caravan: No strong opinion on the company itself, but she's very intrigued by certain individuals. At one point, she was considering joining them as a caravan guard

Crater Raiders, Settlers: Oddly enough, her opinion on each is similar. She'll help them out when she runs into them and just sees them as people trying to get by. Nopes right on out of there whenever there's conflict between the two

No but I've actually struggled a lot on what to do with Price in terms of a relationship for a little bit now. Because I do love the Nikolai/Price pairing, but I also love Price as a tired single dad to the 141 (I will ship and read anything and everything you guys I have read some very interesting ships for this Fandom and I refuse to be apologetic for it)

But when I started writing, the initial idea was to have Price and Gaz remain single. This was because I was worried about taking the focus from Soap/Roach/Ghost. However, as you guys can tell, I've gotten more comfortable with adding in other ships so now we've got like Jackson/Roach, Jackson/Gaz, etc.

So I've started thinking more about it and I keep going back and forth on what I want to do. I feel like if I do give Price a relationship, it will probably be with Nikolai?

Would I absolutely enjoy creating a self-insert OC to make Price's secret husband? Yes, yes I would. vace is v fun bc even post therapy he’s still kind of The Way He Is you know. (in the pringles jar) and i think on the surface someone who’s easy-going is the easy solution but i don’t think someone who isn’t driven would appeal to him at all? so rather than easy-going it’s like... someone who doesn’t hold what he does against him

i do think it’s extremely funny if at first he dates people who are very much like rex and sol (assuming golden run where he and rex make up wwww) and then later on the person he ends up w/long term is Not Like That. these two things were essentially my thesis statement in making lin  WWWWWWWW

lin is essentially like. i don’t care if you fuck up. i do however care if you just leave the mess behind and in fact i care about that Very Fucking Much, Do Not Do It. a non-therapized vace appeals to him 0 percent past looks. a post therapy vace who is constantly fucking up but trying about it? very much his type. augment is “clear-headed” -- doesn’t get swept away by his emotions, able to keep a level head in every single situations. essentially, there’s a wall between “him” and “his feelings”. in theory this means he’s got a cool head and is great at problem solving... which is true in practice as well! what WASNT part of the theory was, uh, the fact that bc he’s like that he’s not v good at dealing w/ppl who DO get swept away. kind of isolated from most people as a result but he’s dealing w/it.*

good together for a number of reasons. lin helps vace when he’s upset bc he tends to focus immediately on “how do we fix this” (robotics guy) which helps vace channel his shit productively. open + good communicator mostly bc he thinks being cagey is annoying. v good at framing rship conflict as “him and vace against smth else”. 

on the flipside, vace being so emotive is like... kind of fascinating for him (guy who has Never Once been swept away). helps him get better at empathizing with other ppl + be more patient (lol). also on a practical level lin is not. great at taking care of himself (does basically the bare minimum to keep himself going) and mr i wanna protect the ppl i love! olivaceous is like. you are going to eat three meals a day actually.

hello hi i am a totally normal creature who is very normal about bruno yaeh/lie

i'm gonna be fr rn. i am not normal about him, i saw the implication of his existence once and inmediatly latched onto him

(other information and aslo super cool sister i made for him under the cut bc shit is long)

so. this guy was one of pizzahead's old accuentiences, he signed a contract with him to make his restaurant affilieted with 'pizzaboys pizza' before pizzahead tried to trick him into another contract wich stated that he had all the rights to the restaurant and bruno would not be reciving any further money from the place (he was gonna be given a million dollars for it but yet still), he of course declined since his restaurant was his life work and more deeply personal than you would expect, so pizzahead killed him and his remains were used for other experiments pizzahead was doing (cough cough fake pep cough cough) (aslo he was thecnically killed accidentally but shh)

bruno was kind of a sweet guy, sassy, a bit cocky and smug sometimes but he was pleasant to be around, if you got to know him tho you'd know he was kind of a bit of a weirdo, but he wasn't totally unnerving, most of the time keyword most

some fun facts!:

like i said, he didn't own a pizzeria, he owned an italian restaurant, they served all kinds of italian dishes yet pizza and pasta were by far the most popular items

very athletic and well kept, really flexy too

2. What part of your OCs creation and writing, are you most proud of?

In general, I'm proud of the narrative arcs that I put my characters through, and how they grow and change over time. Dynamic characters who change in response to what they go through always strikes me as one of the most important parts of writing (if a character isn't influenced by what they go through, then why is what they go through worth writing about to begin with? there's a reason we don't write full stories about characters going to the grocery store, unless something interesting happens) so I've worked very hard to implement this into my works.

3. Who is the hardest OC to write

At the moment, I'd say Quinn. She herself is a very complex character, which is tricky enough, but she's also dealing with a "requited love but time has passed so they're still figuring things out" sort of thing with her love interest, so it's hard to rein myself in from them immediately falling in love lol

7. Were any of your OCs names inspired by another piece of media, if so, what media?

I have a character named Ophelia after Hamlet, and another who in-universe named herself Quinn after Harley Quinn (see above). Aside from that, I mainly connect to a lot of historical and mythological figures, more than I do other media characters.

8. Which of your ocs is the most fun to write?

I mean... they're all fun, in their own ways. I do my best to try something new with each of them, so there's always something I look forward to when I write. But that being said, I really like writing for Jasper, they're such a fun character and their empathic abilities are really fun to explore.

15. Who is your oldest OC in terms of when you created them?

So... I've got to dip into something that I haven't actually posted, but it's an OC named Persephone (Percy) Michaels that I wrote to go along with MCU Loki. I actually wrote the first couple chapters of a fic for her, but never posted it (and it needs a rewrite anyway). She's gone through a lot of changes since her creation (2018?), but she's still the same OC at heart. I'm sure I'll post her story eventually.

16. Do you have a favourite OC?

Kinda goes back to what I said about which one's the most fun to write, I love them all in their own ways. At the moment I'm pretty partial to Madison, Indigo, or Jasper, though. It's a very tight race, I truly do love them all. I'm also DYING to share my OC Lydia with you all, but I need to close out a fic or two before I can start something new. The joys of writing longfic...

Even looking through my Google Doc that outlines all my OCs (even the ones that still only exist in my mind), it's hard to pick a favorite. I want to tell their stories so badly! I'm literally looking through this going "Ooh, I do love Sable... and Iris... and Cleo... and I'm dying to share Atlanta's story but nobody's gonna read that bc of the pairing... I could probably write Winter's story a little faster than the rest but it would still take me a while... Citron's too..."

Actually,now that I think about it,the ocs that would want to tie the knot would have tied it between SV and SWSH.

Jin, Amber and Wally all probably got hitched at some point.

Uuuuuh......huh. Damn that's it. Those three are the only other relationship that lasted that long.

Kenji and Silver are going through a divorce/j

Aiko and Vo are still just dating( neither knows if marriage is for them tbh)

I feel like Jude and Dante are only recently getting into more couple stuff after some self reflection and therapy(as in they recently got together). Marriage isn't even a thought at the moment.

Alexis and Leon broke up ( it was mutual), so Alexis is a single pringle.

The rest are either just not interested in a relationship or haven't thought of it much. Kiran and Barry are weird outliers that I'm still thinking about. Though I think I might lean towards aroace Barry? I dunno, still thinking about it. Danica just doesn't want to be in a romantic relationship at all.

Oh, Zero and Volo are fine. Not married, just Is.

𝙞.  i recently bought a book on screenwriting to try and learn more about that craft and i’m really excited about it!

𝙞𝙞.  i have a six year old (soon to be seven year old) black cat named Poppy who I adopted in January. She is the current love of my life.

𝙞𝙞𝙞.  rp has been kinda on the fritz for me lately, but i’m hoping to find new ways to love it again.

i’ve been roleplaying since 2013--this is the original blog, so if you go back far enough you can find some of my first threads (please don’t i’m sure they’re terrible lol). i’ve played other characters both here and on discord, but ally has historically been the most consistent.

i tend to go for OC’s because i love the idea of exploring parts of a fictional universe that don’t always get explored by the canon characters and plots. but i’ve written some canons too and that’s pretty fun, but i think it’s more pressure because there’s some expectation of what they should be/sound/act like.

𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙛𝙛: i love me some fluff. i love a good slice of life; show me two people going grocery shopping and fighting over whether to get red or green grapes. this is the stuff i’ve probably been most interested in lately.

𝙨𝙢𝙪𝙩: i used to like writing it but i don’t enjoy it as much anymore. on here, i’m happy to do a fade to black scenario and maybe talk about what happened with the other mun just so we have continuity, but i haven’t been super interested in writing it out on a public forum lately. on discord i’m more willing to write it out fully.

𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙩: angst goes hand in hand with fluff for me. fluff is my favorite, but you can’t have all fluff. though, i say that and i have very little intention of writing too much hardcore angst any time soon (ally has been through enough lol). but yes. i do enjoy writing it when it serves a purpose.

when i was younger i’d prefer plotting stuff out and creating really in depth plotlines, but now i’m much more interested in memes and improvising things and seeing where they go. i do like to establish background if needed, especially when i’m writing with someone new and their character should know ally already. but in terms of actual threads, i kind of prefer to throw things at people--or have things thrown at me--and see what comes out of it.

Everybody get ready for a scoop full of lore because here it comes, Vesper in this universe is the dark one, the dark one is an entity that keeps their existence hidden from others, when they are found they're usually freighted or aggressive, but when you end up pacifisting the dark one they do end up becoming and ally or a friend or if you wanna go farther than that, lover, the only speak in two way, windings font or squeaks and other intelligible sounds :) ( also dark ones are considered powerful demons :3 ) ( not a mary sue thing btw, they can still die)

Hiii!!!! Im here again for best girl Myra!

Sooo, what happens to her when she's not in the au or with her husbands? Does she have her own universe or does she live in some kind of pocket dimension? Does she ever have existence crisis? Like 'Oh, when this over it's either going to be good or horrid and i don't know when it will happen' kind of way. I just imagine her as that one dude sitting in the chair despair way in evangelion.

So I do in fact have this small bubble universe where all of my OCs live in peace! And they don't really follow any specific story that I put them in. So this is like their little safe space.

And this universe is also the same universe where Myra has a perfectly normal life with her father (he a single pringle) and she has a nice job as a lawyer (since I aged her up to 27).

What kinda sucks is that Myra's vision is a bit... different compared to other OCs. and by that I mean any other characters that are just extras who play non-important roles in the world, she's unable to see their faces clearly. To her their faces are completely blurry. She sees other OCs' faces just fine. Just the NPCs.

Besides this pocket dimension, the world I think would be considered 'canon' I guess is my au!Jen universe since it's probably my most developed au at the moment?

When Myra is in her 'fully aware she's fictional mode', she's... mostly just desensitized by the idea of it. I mean she's been my OC for about a decade at this point at this point she's the only OC who's most closest to 'her creator'. She's more or less annoyed whenever I put her in more aus but when she's left alone with her thoughts she's really... really confused on what she's supposed to feel knowing her mind could actually explode if 'her puppetmaster' decides to overwhelm her with every single memory she has from every story I put her in.
