no lie i genuinely believe brands are so behind the pleather movement bc they can just buy cheap plastic sell it as expensive 'vegan leather' and be ready for you to return in a couple years to buy another 'vegan peeta approved™ leather jacket' bc they last like 5 minutes compared to the way leather lasts decades all the while you can pat yourself and coorporate's back for being sutainable all the while pvc (what some fake leather products are made of) has been labeled the single most environmentally damaging type of plastic and while there are non pvc fake leathers such as pu leather... its not like thats much better producing plastic pollutes and the second your pleather clothes start to breakdown (which happens much faster than you think) theyll wound up on landfills for at least a 100 years...

☣️ As should surprise no one, this is one opinion that's changed dramatically for her. At first, she was afraid of the Scorched attacking her, and frankly wasn't sure what they were (she probably considered them a type of Ghoul until she spoke to locals about them). Once she learned more, that fear remained, but was joined by deep pity. She found it seriously hard to mercy kill Crane up close whilst he attempted to speak to her, and ultimately couldn't take the shot. She did manage to psych herself up enough to put David Thorpe out of his misery after watching him staggering aimlessly in circles around the BBQ shack. Then of course, learning that she's become infected herself, she has a lot of sometimes confusing and contradictory thoughts about how the Scorched should be dealt with. She increasingly finds that whilst they don't fully accept her as 'one of us', some aren't hostile to her and will just... stare, which leaves her the moral dilemma of striking first or sneaking past

⬇️ The first Mole Miner she ever met was Purveyor Murmrgh, which shaped her initial opinion strongly. She found the Purveyor fascinating and eventually was partially using the Rusty Pick as a player home, in return for helping to restore weapons dropped off in the legendary exchanges to decent condition. But now, on the whole she's terrified of encountering Mole Miners, since they're much physically stronger than her and tend to attack in groups. Important to note that she 100% considers Mole Miners to be humans, and as such may attempt a diplomatic approach at times (with no success yet, but... she tries :( Todd let me at least leave Mole Miners to their business challenge)

🦅 Very, very negative view of the Blood Eagles, especially since meeting Beckett and learning about his experiences with them. Plus the only encounters she's ever had with Blood Eagles have been them trying to kill her, so... yeah, not a whole lot more to say on that matter

🤖 Eh. Mixed feelings here. She can't help but be fascinated by the bot creations, and sees exactly what drew Amp to the group (aside to clarify: I gave Amp some bizarre additional lore meaning she now has known Trin since childhood and partly shares her obscure origin lol), but she's also naturally suspicious of the Blood Eagle connection and what the ultimate aim of testing and refining killer robot designs might be

I want a ghoul city built on one of those built-to-last fuck-off-it’s-irradiated nuclear waste containment sites. These:

I know there was one in 76, but I really want a ghoul city in one of these. Intimidating to potential invaders, your population is constantly healed by radiation, and it would just look cool. I love how much Fallout relies on the repurposing of hostile architecture/objects/symbols and throwing a shantytown on top of a structure that’s built to be inhospitable but has turned out to be uniquely conducive to one kind of human life does that on the most literal level.

The English acronym LGBT is usually written as LHDT in Welsh. But what about the Q+?

I see 'LHDTQ+' often - but there is no letter Q in the Welsh alphabet. So what about C+?

It is impossible to talk about the acronym without also mentioning the history of the acronym in Welsh. Currently, the first (known) mention of the acronym in Welsh is in "Stories which give shape to lives" by West Rhyl Young People's Project in 1994. On page 4 it has "LHD" for LGB. After LGB makes a debut, the acronym LGBT arrives in "A Brief Guide for LGBT Communities: Challenging Negative Media Reports" (tr.) by the Children's Commissioner for Wales in 2015.

It is also impossible to talk about the acronym without mentioning whether it is Q for 'Queer' or Q for 'questioning'. Both, both are good. But in Welsh there exists a third angle: Q for 'Cwiar' or Cadi'?

Mihangel Morgan has spoken about 'Cadi theory' in Queer Wales (2016). Morgan has established that he prefers Cadi to Cwiar as a community term and there are some who agree with him. On the other hand, other people prefer Cwiar. And some people just like both. I like both personally. But I do think it is important to show the conversation around these things on here.

A quick explanation: 'Freeze VATS' is the system in Fallouts 3 and New Vegas, where entering VATS freezes time whilst you select your targets. 'Slow-mo VATS' is the version from Fallouts 4 and 76, where time merely slows down and the enemies still move and can make their own attacks during the VATS sequence.

(Going to do this for Trin, because of course I am lol)

I'm going to cheat a little, because most of the lyrics of this song don't quite relate to her, but I've always used We Three by the Ink Spots as her theme song. It starts with the classic Ink Spots opening bars shared by a few of the Fallout games' main songs (Maybe, I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire, etc), and of course heavily features the number three- what's not to love?

Then as for Trin herself, she also loves We Three for the same reasons I do! But excluding that, she has three Appalachia Radio favourites that stick out (of course she does). Silly mood fave is I Didn't Know The Gun Was Loaded, which she just finds fun and catchy, and then we have Dark As A Dungeon and Shenandoah.
