When you fall asleep on them
Tumblr media
Izuku Midoriya: A smile comes to his lips before he softly whispers. “You look so peaceful.” He lays there with you, his hand across your chest, listening to your slow, steady breaths and admiring how the darkness frames your face. But only a few minutes in to his musings, he can feel sleep creeping over himself as well.
Katsuki Bakugo: He pulls you closer, laying his head against you in the small moment of peace in his life. His arm goes around your waist, pulling you even closer into him. He sighs, feeling your warm breath against him even if his quirk makes him naturally warm as you both drift off to sleep together, wrapped in each other's arms.
Shoto Todoroki: He gently lifts your head off his shoulder and places you down on the bed, then he stands up to get a blanket to cover you with. He’ll tuck you in, giving a light kiss on your forehead, and then he’ll leave the room. If you’re asleep on his lap he’ll be sure to set you down in bed gently as well.
Tenya Ida: He lays his head against yours, feeling the warmth of your head against his cheek. He wraps his arms around you again, wanting to make you feel comfortable, and he closes his eyes. His heart pounds as he thinks about waking up next to you, still wrapped in your embrace, still feeling secure and happy.
Fumikage Tokoyami: He’ll brush your hair. He rubs your back and whispers sweet nothings into your ear. He kisses your cheek and pulls you close with every gentle caress, and he thanks the gods or whoever is listening to him in that moment that you fell for him all those years ago. Then, he’ll rest his chin on your chest with loving eyes, feeling your heartbeat against his forehead, grateful that this is his life.
Hitoshi Shinso: The gentle rise and fall of your chest becomes a calming lullaby, and before long, your breaths are in sync with his. He feels your body relax as he leans his head into your shoulder, his eyes growing heavy. He takes a moment to soak in the warmth of your bare skin on his own, and then he closes his eyes.
Denki Kaminari: He gently nuzzles your side, his lips leaving a kiss mark behind. Then he closes his eyes with a content smile on his face and feel you against him. You’re a warm, firm, comfortable presence, one that’s perfectly attuned to his body. The steady beat of your heart feels like home to him.
Eijiro Kirishima: He strokes your hair, holds you close and kisses your forehead, your cheeks, your neck. He caresses your soft skin, and whispers sweet nothings in your ear. He holds them close and feels your breathing against his chest. He tells you how he loves you, and how he will always be there for you, no matter what happens. He will always protect, love, and cherish you.
Mashirao Ojiro: He lays there for the next few minutes thinking about how much he loves you and how peaceful he feels in this moment even if you fell asleep on him which makes his heart pound that you’re so comfortable around him, your body against his as he wraps his tail around you. he eventually gives in to sleep. It should be noted that he is very much a cuddler.
Mirio Togata: When you fall asleep on him, he gently kisses your forehead and slides out from underneath you, making sure not to wake you. He'll usually tuck you in or wrap your blanket around them. Then, he'll curl up next to you and give you a gentle spoon as he whispers sweet nothings in your ear. When you wake up in the morning, you'll find him next to you, as close as he could possibly be - for he is a hopeless romantic, and cannot bear to be without you even when asleep.
Tamaki Amajiki: He’ll gently press his lips to your brow and murmur a kiss. Then he snuggles closer, breathing in the scent of you. He presses closer against the soft part of your shoulder, hoping you will find comfort in him, too, and closes his eyes, letting a deep sense of contentment wash over him.

🌸If You Give Them Your Hand BNHA🌸
Characters: Sero, Bakugou, Denki, Hawk, Shoto, Shinso, Izuku {GenderNeutral Reader}
What happens when you give the Boys of BNHA your hand? Some are you just straight up give them your hand, others are scenario. As always feel free to leave a request and thank you all so much for the support! ❤️🥺
Warning: Swearing and there are some suggestive parts.
◾️🟨Sero 🟨◾️
Tumblr media
Sero was working in the kitchen, putting dishes away while making something for lunch for the both of you. Music swayed in the air as you approached. Your hand, and arm, outstretched waiting for his reaction. Sero seemed a tad bit startled by your sudden presence and then at your action. Like you just walked into the kitchen with your arm in front of you… what is happening? He looked at you, puzzled for a moment before smiling. The confusion in his eyes was gone.
He grabbed your hand, kissed your knuckles first, then wrist, then made his way up your arm. He kissed your cheek, nose, then lips. His eyes met yours, the red blush evident on your face as you stared at him.
“Entertained Amor?”
💥Katsuki Bakugou💥
Tumblr media
Bakugou is sitting on the couch with your dog watching TV. Some old American movie about a superhero is playing, and Bakugou seems both hypnotized and confused. “Rip off ALL MIGHT” he mutters. You walk over to him, standing at his side as you place your arm/hand out, waiting.
“What are you doing Dumbass?”
You don’t answer, just smirk at him. He glanced back at the movie, pausing it and turning his full attention onto you. Wtf are you doing? He carefully grabs your hand, wondering if you have some stupid trick shocker in it. But nothing- nothing except your reaction. You smile, and it clicks. It's that stupid TikTok thing.
He gives you this sweet smile and brings your hand to his lips. He turns your palm to face him, before licking your entire hands and wrist. His snarky smile comes through as you see his sharp canines.
“Kat that's so gross!” You try to yank your hand away but he won’t let you.
“Aw come on Teddy Bear, we've done a lot grosser.”
“Kat-”
“Like last night we-”
“KAT STOP!”
⚡️Denki⚡️
Tumblr media
Denki had just stepped back into the house, sweaty from the gym and hazy. His eyes land on you, your arm and hand outstretched and he just stares. He’s both tired and a bit out of it so it takes him a good couple of seconds to realize what the hell is happening. Then he does He grabs your hand and kisses your knuckles. He then, of course, does his little flirty wink and smile, gazing up at you through his bands and eyelashes.
“I thought you wanted me to pull your finger for a moment” he laughs, your hand still in his as he weaves them together, standing up straight.
You can't help that laugh that leaves your chest at the confession. He chuckles too, more so at your bubbly laugh.
🪶Keigo (HAWKS)🪶
Tumblr media
Hawks had just left the bathroom from showering when he saw you. Standing there with your arm outstretched towards him. Your hair is mused and you're dressed for bed. Usually, he’d take that as an invitation but today, he just needed to be close to you. Something happened today, something that’s weighing heavy on his heart and mind. And he just needs you. Needs you close. Keigo gives you a soft smile before moving towards you, hand holding yours as his other cups your back. One of his feathers departs and goes towards the record player in the corner, flicking the record over and putting it on. The two of you just dance, both slowly stepping to the beat of the music as the sun fully sets. At some point, his wings cave around the both of you, protecting you from everything outside.
“I love you chickadee”
🌿 Izuku Midoriya🌿
Tumblr media
Izuku takes it as a hint to pull you to him since you were sitting down. Laying down actually, you both had just woken up but
Another lovely morning in bed was ruined by Izuku’s alarm. Hero work. You grumbled and groaned as you felt Izuku try to unweave himself from you. Trying his best to not wake you, but it didn’t matter. You had become somewhat used to his work schedule at this point, being able to wake up even without his alarm going off. But that doesn't mean you were happy about it.
“ZooZoo come back.”
You groaned as you peeked open your eyes to see your boyfriend shut the bathroom door; trying to stop the bathroom light from hitting you. Time passed by and you found yourself more awake, now in the kitchen making coffee for the two of you, sitting on the counter as you waited. You could hear Izuku moving around, putting on his hero uniform. You hummed as you saw his familiar head of hair enter. You reached your arms out to him, wanting a hug because I mean- you didn’t get to have your peaceful morning with him. But, he thought you need him to pull you down. Why? Because he usually has to pull you out of bed. And his un-caffeinated, tired mind processed you as still being in bed. (Man had a hard week, cut him some slack.) But unlike those times, when he’d tug you out from the covers, you weren’t prepared for the jank off the counter. So you go pretty much flying from the counter and crumble to the ground since you had no balance. Izuku reacted fast, thanks to constantly training his reflexes, and catches you, his arms going under yours
“Well, that didn't go as planned.”
“Heh yeah sorry.”
“What happens?”
“I think my mind processed you as still being in bed.”
“Izu…baby… I think you need a day off. Just some rest. It’s been months.” Your hands cupped his face.
“Yeah, maybe your right…alright let’s go back to bed. I’ll grab us some coffee and call the commission.”
He then pushes your body up, pretty much throwing you in the air slightly till he's holding your thigh, your hands rest on his shoulders.
🧊Shoto Todoroki🔥
Tumblr media
It was right after he did a meet and greet, you had been hanging out on the side watching. Ensuring that everything worked and went smoothly. Thankfully this one had been only two hours, not eight. Yet it came right after a rather intense interview with the press. You watched with grated TEETH as they poked and prodded Shoto for information about his family. Fucking bastards.
And the minute it ended, when both the interview and meet and greet were done, you could see the toil it took on Shoto. How his shoulders slouched a bit and his back caved. He was emotionally tired and done with socializing for the day. You walked up to him, arm outstretched ready to give him a side hug, your other arm holding fan mail and whatever esle. Yet out of the corner of his eye, he only saw a hand. His back became straighter and his shoulders rolled back. He turned to you, and you watched as Shoto enter into ‘Hero Greet’ mode. He grabbed your hand. His grip was firm and gentle as he shook it. He gave you that award-winning smile, the one you see every fan post about when they meet him. He’s about to open his mouth, about to greet you with his robotic lines until he realizes it's you. His grip doesn't loosen and instead, he pulls you into his chest. His other arm wraps around your waist as he kisses your forehead.
“Ready to head home?” You ask
“Hm”
🧠Hitoshi Shinso 🧠
Tumblr media
You had been sitting on the couch, Shinso’s head rested in your lap as he watched the Tv. The evening had been uneventful, a nice change to the chaotic week that had perused earlier. To say the least, both of you were grateful for this slow night. Your fingers weaved in and out of his hair, and your other hand rested lax against his shoulder. To be honest, you were both zoned out to the film. Your fingers stopped momentarily brushing his hair which broke Shinso from his haze and drowsiness. His eyes shifted up towards you, he could see the sleepiness in your eyes and your struggle to stay awake. You always tried to stay awake with him, keep him company on the night his insomnia was really bad.
His hand reaches up, grabbing your free hand on his shoulder. He lightly pulled your hand to his face, brought your palms to his lips, and kissed it.
“Go to sleep kitty. It’s been a long day.”

How abt a crack au where after the cultural festival class 1a decide to all quit school and be a band full time, and they become so popular that most villains give up villaining to go to shows instead and to make sure 1a dont feel the need to switch back to being heroes
1- a quarter of the class has already committed vigilantism, Izuku just encountered two more and is musing on the meeting while riding the high of Jiro's song being able to do for Eri what several heroes couldn't, so a lot of the class is like "well it'll be fine, we can do music and help people on the side, technically until they cancel our provisional licenses or they expire in three years, it won't even be illegal."
2- Todoroki, who doesn't have his licence yet, weighs the pros and cons. He'd like to not have to go to any more remedial lessons where his dad shows up when when he's not supposed to. He asks Jiro about more ice and fire effects, and agrees to go. Tensei was in the family audience and tells Tenya he did an amazing job, which Tenya takes as permission and encouragement to go even though that's absolutely not what Tensei meant and he had no suspicion of the plan at the time. Uraraka looks at the streaming numbers and how much they can earn even with low priced tickets, and agrees. Etc etc etc
3- Bakugou only agrees because Kaminari needled him about being too good to. Unlike Todoroki, he does still attend remedial classes and sends in his normal assignments to UA, somehow while in the band full time, and in the group constantly on the run from Nedzu and various others trying to hunt them down.
4- crime rates plummet to pre-Kamino levels due to villains realizing if the kids stop the band, they're all screwed. The fact that several different villains go to a show and somehow aren't seen again doesn't really get out though to warn anyone off, probably because nobody cared about the Chimera and Mummy, and because when Tomura sent Dabi to find out where Twice and Toga had vanished to, he didn't bother to look.
5- Most of the vestiges are unhappy with this decision to join a band, Second and Third loudly complaining about the immaturity, Yoichi quietly confused and disappointed, Hikage nursing a permanent headache, but Banjo is thrilled, En doesn't say anything either way but wanted to be in a band himself when he was alive, and Nana's just glad Izuku's having fun and helping people smile. For his part, Toshinori is having a blast and is amazed at how Izuku is getting stronger with his quirk even focused as he is at using it for shows and dancing. AfO is a distant threat but one he knows Izuku can handle if he ever breaks out of prison, and in the meantime he needs to make sure all his former students are eating enough to keep up their strength. Hey what's that black stuff coming out of young Midoriya's arm-

Bkdk plot bunnies pt. 4
- Katsuki is a great fucking adult, the best even
- he does his taxes, hell he even does the whole Bakusquad’s because he doesn’t “want them to go to fucking jail for tax evasion”
- So imagine his surprise when in the mail he receives a letter from the tax agency because he overpaid his taxes
- Now of course it’s a matter of pride, Katsuki goes over his calculations again, sure he made no mistake
- He calls the tax agency to asure them he NEVER makes mistakes
- “Oh yes, I see here you got married a year ago congratulations! That means you get a tax discount, that’s why it appears you overpaid this year sir.” Says the costumer service agent
- “I’m not married! You guys fucked up.” Katsuki says vindicated in that he didn’t make any mistakes.
- “Your name is Katsuki Bakugou, right? I can see here your marriage certificate, and you indeed got married about a year ago”
- “I think I’d remember if I had a fucking wedding” katsuki said starting to get angry
- “…Sir, I can see in public records that on 17/07/XXXX you married Midoriya Izuku now Bakugou Izuku, if you had a divorce maybe it hasn’t gon-“
- “D-did you just say Midoriya Izuku?” Katsuki stuttered
- “…yes…?”
- Katsuki hangs up.
- He pulls up public records himself and sure enough there is his marriage certificate where Izuku took his last name (bc in Japan you can only keep one surname per couple)
- “Motherfucker.” Of course bullshit like this follows Katsuki when Deku is concerned.
- He runs to Izuku’s apartment taking it a step further and going through his mail
- “Bakugou Izuku, Bakugou Izuku, this fucking idiot…” Katsuki muses as he flips through the mail.
- “Dekuuuu!!!” Katsuki pounds on the apartment’s door roughly.
- “I’m coming, I’m coming!” Izuku’s voice is heard from inside. “Kacchan w-“
- “Apparently a year ago we got fucking married” Katsuki shows the marriage certificate on his phone to Deku
- “What?!”
- Katsuki explained everything. “…and just now I looked through your mail and it’s all addressed to Bakugou Izuku, how the fuck did you miss that for over a year?!”
- “Oh my god, so we’re legally married?!”
- “Somehow!!”
- “W-when did this even happen?!”
- They look at the date and try to figure out if someone forged their signatures
- They remember that day a big sting operation in Yumeshima island (the Vegas of Japan according to google lol) had just ended and a few of their friends were there, they had just missed Izuku’s 20th birthday because of the operation so they decided to celebrate there
- And everyone got really really drunk, both Izuku and Katsuki themselves blacked out
- “So we got married then?” Izuku asks
- “It appears so.” Katsuki said
- “How did we not know until now? I mean at least one of our friends has to have remembered.”
- Katsuki got angry “if one of those fuckers hid it from us I’m going to explode them.”
- They call Uraraka first; “Sorry Deku-kun! I can’t remember anything from that night either.” She apologized
- Then Kirishima; “What? Those weddings aren’t fake?! They had Michael Jackson officiating, that can’t be legal!!!”
- Todoroki; “Wait, so you guys aren’t together? I thought you just decided to get married, that’s why I bought you that blender you wanted Bakugou.”
- Shinsou; “oh yeah, I just thought it was the funniest shit ever. I even kept the original certificate.”
- “So you’ve been sitting on this for a year?!” Deku said.
- “Yeah,” Shinso confirmed. “I mean, I didn’t think you would take this long to realize, Midoriya, or should I say Bakugou?”
- “IM GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!!!” Katsuki bellowed at the phone.
- “Come on Bakugou, let’s not fight, I wouldn’t want to leave Izuku a widow”
- “MOTHERFU-“
- “Besides, just get a divorce, you haven’t been married long so you won’t have to legally separate your things or anything” as much things new heroes two years out of high school could have
- They decide to sort the legal shit on their next day off
- Or they would have if the news didn’t leak to the press just a day later
- ‘Pro hero Deku and Pro hero Dynamight MARRIED FOR OVER A YEAR?!’
- The PR of the agency begs them to stay married until it blows over
- “Izuku baby, why didn’t you tell me you got married to Katsuki-kun! You didn’t even invite me to your wedding!” Inko cries as Deku tries to console her
- “You fucking brat, you didn’t have the fucking decency to invite your own mother to your wedding to Izuku-kun, do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this?!”
- “Fuck you hag, this is exactly why I didn’t fucking invite you!” Katsuki replies
- The media starts getting suspicious because they don’t live together and don’t do PDA
- In an interview Bakugou panics and says they live apart because they are saving up for a house which everyone thinks is so cute
- PR makes them do a little PDA
- So slowly they settle into a relationship and just never divorce
-later, two years or so after they have a proper wedding and live happily ever after

her muse pt. 1
being childhood friends doesn't matter to katsuki if one is quirkless and the other is stronger than him. he's going to be better than them no matter what. [name] can't take anymore of katsuki's bs and defends Izuku by challenging the hot head to a fight.
midoriya izuku x fem!reader
Tumblr media
“Hey, Izu.”
Midoriya turned around and saw a girl with [h.color] hair and rainbow colored eyes looking at him. She was sitting in the cool stream of water with the small fish swimming past her. Her lower body was completely submerged and she was unbothered by the creatures near her.
“Why do you still follow Katsuki?” It was an innocent question she asked out of concern for her other friend. Her hands skimmed the top of the stream and the water collected in a sphere when she flipped her hand over. Her rainbow colored eyes flickered with curiosity as two tiny fish swam in quick loops in the ball of water floating in her hand.
“What do you mean, [Name]?” Midoriya asked and walked up to her to look at the sphere with admiration. He kneeled down in the stream looking from the fish to the girl. His green eyes shining with fun, “You’re quirk is so cool! You said it was mixed between your parents?”
[Name] nodded her head and she plucked the fish from the water sphere and put them back in the stream where they belonged. “Papa can control the elements and mama…well she can sing. Anyways, don’t change the subject!”
The girl splashed Midoriya in the face with the small water ball and he laughed with joy. He wiped his face and smiled at her, “I follow the both of you because I want to be just like you guys! I’m waiting patiently for my quirk! I’m sure that it’ll come in!”
[Name] stood up and Midoriya repeated her action. They stepped out of the stream and a whirl of wind came towards them drying their clothes off naturally. They both giggled as the wind tickled them and it lifted them off the floor just a few inches.
“Oh Izuku, I can’t wait for you to get your quirk!” [Name] flipped in the air while Midoriya flapped his arms with a giant smile on his face. “We’ll have so much fun and-”
“Hey! What are you guys doing?” A loud voice asked, interrupting the happy scene with his holler. [Name] and Midoriya looked over and saw their friend, Bakugo Katsuki, looking up at them with a flicker of jealousy in his red eyes.
[Name] set herself and Midoriya down on the ground and she waved at the blonde boy, “Hey, Katsuki! We ended up playing in the stream together!” The girl giggled and took a small leaf out of Midoriya’s green fluffy hair.
“So I used my quirk to dry us off!” She finished saying and tossed the leaf away. It swirled down and rested on the dirt floor alone.
Bakugo didn’t seem interested anymore and turned away saying, “ Anyways, come on! We got things to do!”
……
[Name] quietly stared out the window, barely listening to a thing her teacher was talking about. She watched as two birds were dancing in the sky together and she unconsciously looked to her right to gaze at Izuku.
He was diligently writing in his hero journal as usual. She could only smile at that.
“Hey teach, don't lump me in with these buncha’ losers.”
[Name] looked forward and saw the laid back position Katsuki was in. She rolled her eyes as he said, “I’m the real deal. These guys would be lucky enough to be a sidekick for a d-list hero.” An outroar erupted in the classroom as they all shouted at Bakugo for his remark.
Their teacher analyzed the paper and said, “You do have impressive test results, but [L.Name] is the one that tops you. She has a higher chance of getting into U.A than you do.” [Name] grimaced and ignored everyone that admired her for being so humble. She had to give her thanks to her teacher for calling her out like that.
“Uh, I believe anyone can get into U.A with the right mindset. They don’t look for students with particularly strong quirks.” [Name] said quietly and the class agreed with her in hopes that they could get in. But some disagreed saying that the acceptance rate of U.A was exceptionally low.
“Which is why that school is worthy of me.”
Katsuki jumped on his desk and declared to the whole class, “[Name] may have a strong quirk, but I top her attitude in terms of confidence. I aced all my mock tests and she failed two. I’m the only one at this school who stands a chance at getting in!”
Katsuki went on for a bit and the teacher got him off his high horse, calling out to another student, “Oh yeah, Midoriya, don’t you wanna go to U.A too?”
Silence consumed the entire classroom before it burst out laughing. They all mocked Midoriya for being quirkless and he stood up for himself which [Name] was proud of him. He didn’t have a lot of confidence just like her, but that was because of a certain ash-blonde kid.
Katsuki roared out and used his quirk on Izuku’s desk to blast him away from it. Midoriya slid backwards and looked up at Katsuki to hear him say rude things. “Listen up, Deku. You’re even worse than these damn rejects, you quirkless wannabe!”
[Name] stood up from her desk and took her coat off to roll up her sleeves of her white button up.
“You really think they’d let someone like you in when they could have me?”
“You got it all wrong! I’m not trying to compete against you!”
The nervous waver in Izuku’s voice pushed her to protect him. “Some kind of hero you’d be, Katsuki.” [Name] harshly said and everyone looked at the girl with fire in her eyes. She stood in front of Izuku as he backed up into the wall and hit his head. “Do you think All Might bullies the weak? You said you were going to be more popular than him, but you can’t even get along with the people around you.”
Katsuki tilted his head and glared at her, “You know you can’t always jump in for this loser. He can’t hang with the best of the best, he’d die in the exams!” His hands crackled from his performance of his quirk, yet [Name] didn’t step down.
“We have known Izuku for a long time, it’s been his dream to become a hero. Quirk or no quirk, I trust Izuku to be more of a hero than you could ever be. Now back off.”
Katsuki scoffed and turned his back to her. The class had settled down with the complete dominance [Name] demanded. She knew Katsuki wasn’t done with Izuku, but she was here to protect him this time. [Name] turned around and gave Izuku a hand out to help him up. He took it and quietly said, “Thank you for that.”
[Name] saw the blush on his face and she averted her eyes quickly releasing his hand when he stood up. With an awkward cough, she said, “It’s no problem, Izu.” Then she returned to her desk putting the black coat over her button up shirt.
……
“Hey, [Name], what you said back in class,” A girl with small horns on her head walked beside her classmate and spoke up, “do you really think any one of us could get into U.A?”
[Name] stopped walking and looked at her shorter classmate, “Well yeah, like I said, I don’t think U.A looks for strong quirk users. Most heroes benefit off on one another and-”
Fwoop!
A notebook flopped on [Name]’s head and she pulled it off her hair with her rainbow colored eyes settling into a glare. This was Izuku’s hero journal, but it was burnt to a crisp. This was the work of that good for nothing Katsuki. “Kaya, I’ll be right back.” [Name] politely told her classmate before flying into the sky near her classroom window to hear Katsuki’s cruel words.
“Just pray that you’ll be born with a quirk in your next life. Then take a swan dive off the roof of a building.”
She didn’t know what Izuku did, but the threat from Katsuki made her blood boil. [Name] flew into the classroom with the journal in her tight grasp. “Yeah, something is wrong,” She set the notebook on Izuku’s desk and approached Katsuki.
“I want to settle this stupid debate in the class. You and I, one versus one. If I win, you stop bullying Izuku and leave him alone.”
“Yeah and if I win, what do I get?” Katsuki asked with a cocky smirk on his face.
[Name] rolled her eyes and set her hands on her hips, “Whatever you want, who cares? I’m going to win anyway.” She was full of attitude and anger, it was laughable to Katsuki.
“Fine, follow us and we’ll settle it there.”
[Name] turned around and gave Izuku a reassuring thumbs up with a determined expression, “Stay here, Izuku. I’m going to stop this today. I’ll text you when it’s over.”
That text never came and Izuku watched in horror seeing his childhood friends being harassed by the same villain that bothered him earlier that day.

Too blind to see (Kirishima x F!reader)
Tumblr media
(Image created with AI)
Kirishima and y/n have known each other since birth as both of their mothers were friends. They dreamed of the two of them getting along and, in an ideal future, getting married and giving them grandchildren, but it was too early for the last part. They became inseparable and did everything together; They went to the same kindergarten, same high school, and even managed to enter the UA. However, because of y/n "sanation" quirk, she was at another class. But that wasn't an impediment for seeing each other every day. And when she wasn't with Kirishima and his friends, she would be helping on the nursery as part of her training. Her mentor, Recovery girl, always said that she'll take her place when she retired, so y/n needed to work extra hard if she wanted to be able to save heroes' lives during battle.
Kirishima was y/n's number one fan; she was his muse, his rock, and his 'best friend' while for her...he was way more than that. She was in love with her best friend and came with the realisation, at a very young age, that he didn't see her as a potential partner so she kept her mouth shut for all this years, scared of rejection.
However, lately, Kirishima's been more protective than normal; At first, she thought it probably had something to do with the LOV's recent attack, but certain actions made her think otherwise...
The other day, Deku came in with new injuries, and because he was a regular patient, he talked a lot with y/n while she treated his wounds. They became very good friends as she was one of the few who knew of OFA. Kirishima hadn't noticed how close they were till he came in later that day to check on Midoriya and found them siting next to eachother (shoulders touching and being VERY VERY close for his liking) reading and talking about his notes. He was standing at the door annoyed by the scene happening in front of him, and suddenly, a new sensation came with it, one he couldn't put into words, but it felt similar to fear. Of what? He was yet to find out...
He decided enough was enough and entered the room, making his presence known. Izuku might have noticed the intense look Kirishima was giving him cause he tensed and moved a little so his body wasn't touching hers at all; He knew that, even though the redhead was such a great guy, when it came to her, he sure as hell would beat someone up just because that person looked the wrong way (Midoriya has seen it many times). Y/n didn't think much of it as she greeted him with a kiss on the cheek and kept doing some reports that Recovery girl has left for her. After she was done, they left so Izuku could rest, but not before she gave him a quick hug and said their goodbyes. Kirishima was rather quiet all the way to her doorm, and once they arrived, he said 'You are really close with Midoriya, ah?' 'Yes, he's a really nice guy! He comes almost every day so he's my favorite patient by now' His face turned into a frown to that and respond 'Is that so?' He hadn't stopped looking intensibly at her, and it was making the e/c girl nervous. <Why does he sound like he's jealous?> The girl was wondering when suddenly, he grabbed her forearm gently so her body was now facing him. His eyes were no longer on her but the floor, and he whispered 'I don't like you being that friendly with him. I'm supposed to be the one who receives your hugs and the one you tend their wounds of!' He paused for a few seconds and finally looked at her as he continued 'I don't like sharing your attention or you affection. I know it's selfish but lately, when I see you with others, it hurts and it annoys me...I feel kind of left out and I don't like it one bit' Someone would of assumed this 'sensations' Kirishima was having were of pure jealousy or envy because of the threaten of her finding someone else and that this might have been his confession but no. He's convinced himself, and her, that it was his mission as a 'big bro' that he needed to be sure the guy she settled for was a nice one. That night, both of them went to sleep with a huge weight of their hearts. Y/n because she realized that nothing has changed and that she'd always be his friend no matter how cute she dressed or how mature she acted, she'd never be his first option. As for him... He felt his chest tighten at the thought of her being with some other dude.
The next few days, he did everything in his power to not let Midoriya or any other of his friends near y/n, but he couldn't control everyone for too long, could he? It wasn't long enough until UA most handsome guy, had to pay a visit to the nursery and even took the chance to invite her to endeavors agency to work with them. She was very excited to tell him about what happened and that she accepted their offer, but Kirishima had to pretend that he was happy when he actually was feeling sad)?
Since then, mister cute face has spent too much time with her and did everything together; from eating lunch to going on missions alone and then having dinner at his house (Midoriya and Bakugou were there too but still) The redhead was going crazy to say the least. However, he began to wonder if these emotions were similar to the ones a brother would have for his little sister or more like a boyfriend would have for his girl. The word 'jealousy' came along with those thoughts and so he understood why he got so annoyed and anxious whenever she was with someone else or how worried he got by just the idea of her having a boyfriend or even marrying someone; marrying someone who wasn't him. He was in love with her! All this time, he actually thought he was doing the right thing by being protecting her from praying eyes but he was just keeping her to himself instead. He realized how mistaken he had been and needed to make his intentions clear for her even if she rejected him. He just needed to find the right time
....

hellooo there, you can call me hoax!! i'm a 21 yo writer searching for 18+ roleplay partners!
i write in past tense third person and try my best to match my partners' response lengths, though i can usually churn out anywhere between one and ten paragraphs! as for characters + pairings, i can write both original + canon characters, though when it comes to pairings, i usually prefer writing ocxoc or ccxcc. i'm not entirely opposed to ocxcc, but it's definitely a case-by-case basis for me. feel free to ask nonetheless! on a similar note, i tend to write mxm pairings more than anything, but i'm also not super strict about that! i may write mxf or fxf, but once again, on a case-by-case basis. that being said, the only specifications i'm somewhat strict with are my muses -- find a list of them below, but please don't ask me to play any unlisted characters! as a side note, i'm a BIG multishipper, so i'll write for a lot! even if we don't share a fandom, please feel free to ask about my original characters + plots!
if you'd like to write together, feel free to reach out to me via discord or tumblr @ ghostyhoax -- i'm not the best at keeping track of likes n such, but i'll try my best to reach out to those who interact as well!

Midnight Musings. Whimsical Ideas.
In Izuku Midoriya's cozy living room, the atmosphere was charged with a mix of determination and camaraderie as Izuku, Yuki, Shinso, and Denki gathered to solve the misunderstanding between their friends. While Izuku was busy jotting down practical solutions in his notebook, Yuki was animatedly pitching ideas that ranged from bizarre to downright absurd.
"I think we should organize a surprise romantic dinner for them!" Yuki exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she bounced in her seat.
Shinso raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Um, Yuki, I don't think that's—"
"—practical at all," Izuku finished, giving Yuki a fond smile. "But I appreciate the enthusiasm. Maybe we could consider something a bit more low-key?"
Yuki pouted playfully, crossing her arms over her chest. "Fine, be that way. But mark my words, someday someone's going to thank me for my genius romantic gestures!"
Izuku chuckled softly, his heart swelling with affection for the girl beside him. Despite her unconventional ideas, there was something undeniably endearing about Yuki's earnestness and creativity.
As they continued to brainstorm, Izuku couldn't help but be reminded of the time he had hidden under Yuki's bed, listening to her act out her daydreams with a fictional character named Mikaela. It was a memory that still made his cheeks flush with embarrassment, but also filled him with a sense of warmth and nostalgia.
Lost in his thoughts, Izuku found himself stealing glances at Yuki, marveling at the way her eyes lit up with passion and excitement as she pitched her outlandish ideas. She was unlike anyone he had ever met, a whirlwind of contradictions and quirks that never failed to keep him on his toes.
As they worked together to find a solution to their friends' problem, Izuku couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude wash over him. For in Yuki, he had found not only a friend but a kindred spirit, someone who accepted him for who he was and challenged him to be the best version of himself.
With a smile, Izuku turned his attention back to the task at hand, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with Yuki by his side. For as long as they were together, he knew that anything was possible.

HOW IZUKU MIDORIYA, KEIGO TAKAMI, DABI AND TOMURA SHIGARAKI ASK YOU OUT FOR VALENTINE’S DAY <3
Tumblr media
izuku midoriya :
this boy is very nervous. like, absolutely terrified because he’s afraid of rejection but he’s decided to finally take a chance and ask you.
“y/n?” he called out to you softly one day when you two were walking back to the dorms. he paused mid-stride, and so did you.
you turned to him in confusion. “yes, izuku?” you replied back, eyebrows pulled together in a furrow as you noted the greenette was fiddling with the straps of his backpack.
“uh..will you go out with me on..valentine’s day?” he had been looking down as he asked you this, but now looked up at you.
you could tell he was nervous, so you gave a small smile in reassurance. “of course i will, izuku. i couldn’t be happier that you asked.” you mused honestly.
Tumblr media
keigo takami :
keigo was..surprisingly chill about it. you two were having a completely different conversation, and he just asked you out of the blue.
“y/n,” keigo spoke, immediately switching to a much more serious expression.
you stared at him in surprise, having not expected that from him. “yes? is..something wrong?” you spoke nervously.
“no, not at all. however, i’ve got a question to ask you.” he explained calmly.
“what’s the question?” you cocked your head to the side slightly.
“will you be my valentine?” he spoke bluntly, then for more information he added, “..like, go out to dinner with me or something of the sort.”
you let out a small chuckle. “i would love to be your valentine, keigo.”
Tumblr media
dabi :
pretty much, he didn’t give you any time to prepare. he asked you out on the day, and you either had the choice to leave him hanging or go out with him. so..of course, you chose to go out with him.
“go out with me. be my valentine.” dabi said bluntly, an unreadable expression on his face.
you choked out in surprise, eyes flying wide. “what? uh-” you stammered out.
“yes or no?” he raised a brow.
“y-yes?” you replied, almost choking on the simple word of confirmation.
“good.” he replied, calmly leaning back against the wall with a small smirk on his face.
Tumblr media
tomura shigaraki :
this man doesn’t even leave you a choice. he drags you out, doesn’t tell you where you two are going, and just says “you’re my valentine.”
“tomura!” you exclaimed in surprise, as his gloved hand wrapped around your own. he pulled you to your feet and began quickly walking, and you were very bewildered.
tomura let out a small scoff, tossing a nonchalant glance over his shoulder to look at you. “you’re my valentine, y/n.” he stated bluntly.
“i am?” you question.
“of course you are, damnit. who else would be my valentine?” he asks you, although neither of you say anything more.

1. IF (I hope) DFO turns out to be canon, how do you think it would be revealed at this point? Izuku wouldn’t recognize his father as a child and I doubt he’ll say the “I am ur father” in a child’s body. It doesn’t have the same impact. What if as All Might is dying he reveals the truth? My idea is that he’ll rewind until he looks like Izuku’s twin and they’ll have a sudden realization or something.
2. It’s inevitable that AFO is gonna lose/die, but I feel like the best way to end his tyranny is by making him quirkless for the rest of his life. ie after the war he lives the rest of his life quirkless. That’s the best punishment for him in my eyes (and cuz I love him I don’t want him to die lol).
3. IF DFO is not canon, where the fuck is Hisashi Midoriya? It’s too suspicious he’s not in the picture. (My own father has worked overseas for the last 5+ years, I promise you he calls me almost everyday + visits 2 times a year). Do you think he’s some big hero? Or other villain? Or maybe he really abandoned Izuku? It seem like he shut his dad out of his memory completely, not even mentioning him once. Hori also said he had big plans for his reveal or smthin. Sorry for the long ask! 😅
Tumblr media
Oh you're fine I love long asks it just takes me a bit to reply as I have stuff going on during the week in real life. So now I can take the time to share your lovely ask to everyone in all it's glory.
I don't imagine it being a I am your father moment, if anything it feels like something that would be revealed to All Might or figured out. Rather then something explicitly said unless All for One just absolutely loses it and shouts about how stole his family or something.
It is a foregone conclusion that AFO is going to lose/die regardless of everyone's intention. Through him becoming quirkless it would be quite a funny and poetic. Likely if the quirk rewind is stopped while he's young, it could just lock his quirks. We all wish he wouldn't die we can hope but even Horikoshi seems assured he definitely not going to survive. But we can hope. :' )
Honestly, that is the weirdest thing. Like many shonen series sometimes omit a parent from the equation. But Horikoshi when asked about Mr. Midoriya said he would be revealed. It honestly now would be weird for him to introduce a new character in the supposed final arc. So the only other idea I can have of him is just being AFO or maybe if want to be creative, the one we been seeing is a clone. His actual first attempt at retiring but the clone is left unaware of that and is why is using Tomura. Just a funny thought as I remember someone musing about clone AFO being a thing.

Hi there! I'm a 20 year old trans dude, so 18+ only please! Both for RP content topics and also my own comfort.
I'm looking for roleplays in a few fandoms over Discord! Fandoms with colored names are top priority, non-colored are also good but not as favorable. Muses in bold lettering are who I'd prefer to play, muses in italics are who I'd like to RP against, and muses in normal font I'm neutral to. One last note before the list, muses will be listed in priority order as well! So a muse I'd like to play the most will be written first, one I'd like to play but not as much will be last, etc.
Mystic Messenger: OCs, 707, Yoosung Kim, Zen, Saeran/Ray/Unknown
Mystery Skulls Animated: OCs, Vivi Yukino, Arthur Kingsmen, Lewis Pepper
Toilet Bound Hanako Kun: OCs, Nene Yashiro, Sousuke Mitsuba, Kou Minamoto, Teru Minamoto, Akane Aoi, Hyuuga Natsuhiko
My Hero Academia: OCs, Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Denki Kaminari, Eijirou Kirishima, Mina Ashido
I'm a lit-advanced lit roleplayer (3-4 paragraphs minimum) and so I'd like a partner that writes about the same level as me. Replies don't have to be daily, but are appreciated if you have the motivation to write them that much! No pressure, ofc, cause we all have lives. I love bonding and chatting and plotting OOC, so don't be afraid to be friendly!
We can discuss plots, any triggers, and boundaries on NSFW and the like in DMs, so please interact with this post or DM me if you're interested!

once upon a time, there was a class--
wait, wrong universe. this isn't a fairy tale.
what happens when your high school years are devastated by war, villain attacks and everything in between? you get stuck having to work even harder than past generations. that’s what happened to the generation of izuku midoriya. upon graduation, it was decided that the class could benefit from some extra time under supervision. some students agreed, some threw a fit for the ages, but ultimately the new graduates entered their WORK COLLEGE YEAR. they need to finish 365 days of hero work (days off included, we aren't monsters!), at least 10 sole-rescue missions or villain take downs before acquiring a permit to join a pro-hero agency without supervision OR open their own.
Tumblr media
All muses are above the age of 18, and you have to be too in order to be a part of this server.
We are very OC friendly, but we do reserve the right to say no if we feel like your original would not fit in. That being said, you do have to provide a bio of your OC and an explanation of how they fit into this story!
NSFW and canon typical dark themes will be present.
Keep in mind that mun =/= muse, so just because you know about Izuku's OFA or Shouto's tragic family life, that doesn't mean your muse is aware of it.
We ask that you pick a character you will actually write. Loving a character is not the same as having an actual writing muse for them. While it is not expected for you to be on every day, a few times a week is recommended.
here you can take a look at a more in-depth rules.
Tumblr media
submit your application form here! and, of course, feel free to ask us any and all questions

list is right here!

talk about a crappy day. [name] doesn't get her fight with katsuki. instead the two are sucked up by a sludge villain wanting to claim their quirks. after all that, [name] has an encounter with someone she hates.
midoriya izuku x fem!reader
bakugo katsuki x fem!reader
a/n: this isn't a thought out story. I wrote this all on a whim, so critique it with a grain of salt lmaoooo also I don't have any idea who really should be a love interest. midoriya was first pick, but like uraraka lmaooooo so ima add some bakugo moments.
Tumblr media
That text never came and Izuku watched in horror seeing his childhood friends being harassed by the same villain that bothered him.
It had happened all too fast for the strongest students at Aldera Middle School to react to an attack. Their cocky and angry attitudes toward each other morphed into one of surprise.
“You two, get out of here!” [Name] pushed Katsuki’s so-called followers out of the way. In turn, she was swept up by the sludge monster and it laughed at her heroic action.
“You saved them for no reason!” It’s laughter was filled with no concern for her or Katsuki. Her rainbow colored eyes made contact with Bakugo just in time to see each other being harassed.
“Kat…suki!” [Name] groaned in a miserable tone as she moved her head about using her wind quirk to push the tentacle trying to worm its way into her mouth. “Blow this bastard up!” Her arms were pinned down to her sides, but that didn’t really limit her quirk usage.
To this, Katsuki lit his hands up and it caused the villain to laugh. His efforts were making things worse as things caught on fire and damage was being done around them. “Silly girl! If you don’t surrender yourself to me, I’ll use your friend instead! How’s that sound!”
[Name] watched as the villain pulled Katsuki further into his slime body and she was stuck trying to choose what to do. A tentacle slid up her leg and she shrieked from the contact allowing another tentacle of slime to make its way to her mouth.
She choked on it and she couldn’t focus any longer as the villain began enveloping her. She couldn’t think straight, if she used her fire to push this villain off of her, everyone around her would be in danger! Tears pricked her eyes as she wasn’t getting any sufficient air in her system.
“How dare you prey on children!” A hero shouted and punched the slime villain. The villain wasn’t hurt, it couldn’t be. Something has to blow it away! [Name] felt herself slowly lose consciousness. She needed to use her wind to push away this villain. Chip at him little by little if she has too.
[Name] heard Katsuki yell and he got his mouth free yelling at the villain. “You picked the wrong guy to mess with! I’m gonna send you back to whatever sewer you crawled out of! Let me go!” Katsuki used his quirk and the explosions got bigger around him. She felt the heat and it burned her skin, but it also allowed her to stay awake.
She was going to get out of here too! [Name] closed her eyes tightly and a huge gust of wind came down the street. Light objects like plastic water bottles, papers and the like were flying around the sludge villain. She focused harder and the wind got stronger to the point where people had to hold on to each other or stronger objects that wouldn’t budge like street poles.
The wind forced the slimy tentacle out her mouth and she greedily sucked in a huge breath of well needed air. “So much power from the both of you!” The villain cheered in excitement, his crazed eyes looking down at the girl.
“Let us go, you pervert!” [Name] shouted at the top of her lungs and her right hand lit on fire. The ground beneath her cracked and she couldn’t hold herself back anymore. She wanted out of this situation. She didn’t want to be touched any longer.
“Oh~” The villain cooed with a giant smirk, his giant eyes looking up and down her frame, “but this girl, she’s so much stronger! I don’t need you!” The villain spat Katsuki out of his body and instead focused on taking complete control over [Name]. But she wasn’t going to go without a fight!
The villain slammed her back against the floor and she threw a fireball at his eye. “Hah! Just let me take control of you, silly girl!” The villain grew larger in size and not even the wind was going to help her get him off her. She was going to die if the heroes around her won’t help her.
She tried crawling backwards away from him. She tried throwing multiple fireballs at him. She tried throwing pieces of the broken earth beneath her at him. Nothing was working against him!
The slime villain hovered over her fear stricken body and she felt herself having a panic attack. She couldn’t think straight. The voice of the villain telling her to give up. The voices of the heroes that already gave up on saving her.
She heard them all. None of them couldn’t help her. She was alone in all of this. As she covered both of her fists in fire, [Name] slapped and blocked the onslaught of tentacles aiming for her mouth. “Katsuki!” She shouted in a desperate cry, “I need you to blast this bastard away! You’re the only one capable of doing that!”
Her voice carried in strong waves and it sent shivers down the peoples back.
“Let go of me! You heard her! I’m the only one that can help her! Damn it, go help her! Stop holding me back!”
The strain in Katsuki’s voice caught [Name] off guard and she looked to where her friend was being held back. Death Arms had his arms wrapped around Katsuki’s torso not letting him go back into danger. “Gotcha, girly!” The villain cackled and held [Name] upside down by her ankles. She squealed and the flames on her hands disappeared so she could hold her skirt down.
“You disgusting- umph!”
The villain shoved a tentacle in her mouth and forced himself onto her. [Name] squeezed her eyes shut and cried for help in her head. The sludge villain laughed at her predicament and lowered her closer to the floor. “If any hero tries to save her, I’ll snap her neck! Don’t test me!”
The ground started to shake in tremors and a small tornado was forming around the villain. The fire was being sucked in and [Name] clenched her hands tightly. ‘Anyone, please! Help me!’
“[Name]!”
Her eyes shot open and she was surprised to see Midoriya run straight to her, small tears leaving his eyes. His breath was unsteady, but his legs moved so fast towards her. “Ugh not this kid again!” The villain moved to attack Izuku, but instead he threw his yellow backpack at the villain. A journal hit the villain in the eye and the tornado dispersed immediately when Izuku came to range.
He clawed at the sludge and [Name] broke free with a gasp . She worriedly looked at Izuku and told him as she coughed, “Izu! It’s not safe here! You have to go!”
Izuku looked at her as he watched the slime enter her mouth again. He nervously smiled at her, his hands not stopping. “I couldn’t just stand there! I couldn’t watch you die! I’ll never leave you behind, [Name]!” She couldn’t respond back to him as the villain cackled and forced himself back onto the girl.
“She’s mine now! And I’m done toying with you!” The villain shouted and raised a giant hand to slam Izuku down, but the poor boy was protected from the hit. The smoke had settled and All Might stood in all his glory.
[Name] felt All Might’s hand dig in the sludge and he grabbed her small one on his own. “Detroit!” She closed eyes and prepared for All Might’s punch, “SMASH!”
All Might successfully pulled her out of the slime while punching the slime villain the hell away from her. She was secured in his grasp as the wind around them formed a tornado high in the sky. It dispersed after a bit and her tired body collided against Izuku’s as they were placed on the uneven street below them.
She sighed in relief and reached a shaky hand out to Izuku. Her fingers traced from his cheekbone down to his chin and she smiled at him weakly, “Thank you, Izu. You saved me.” She pulled away from him and turned to lay on her back, her face being touched by the raindrops.
“I’m so tired.”
[Name] was swarmed by interviewees and heroes praising her and Bakugo for their courageous act they put out. Yet their kind words never reached her ears because she was focused on the ones she heard from the two heroes scolding Midoriya. She walked away from Katsuki’s side and approached the timid boy.
“Please, be nicer to him,” She gently said and wiped the dirt off her skirt, “Izuku may have been reckless, but he was brave in his own way. If he didn’t step in when he did, I think we all know what would have happened if that villain got in control of my quirk.”
The two pros looked at her and couldn’t really say anything to her. They weren’t in the place to do so because not even them could step in to help her. Kamui walked up to her and showed concern over her wounds, “You should have your cuts looked over, go to the-”
[Name] raised her hand and smiled, “I’m okay, once I’m in the mood to sing, my voice will heal me just fine.”
Death Arms looked at her in awe and questioned her, “Wait, you are able to control the elements and you can heal yourself? I have to say that’s very impressive!”
“My singing voice heals all kinds of wounds of others and myself. I think it’s very useful as well.” She blushed and looked down at Izuku. [Name] gave him a shy wave and said, “I have to go now. My dad is probably worried about me and my phone is dead. Thank you again, Izuku. I’ll see you at school.”
“R-right, please be careful on your way home,” Izuku stood up from the ground and waved back at her.
……
‘I wonder how Katsuki is doing? I kinda ditched him for Izuku…and we never did have our duel - ughhhh~’ [Name] rubbed her forehead and kicked a pebble off to the side.
“Hey, kid, been awhile, huh?”
[Name] stopped dead in her tracks and turned around slowly to see her mother looking at her with a conniving smirk on her old face. Her mom’s rainbow colored eyes stared straight into her anxious soul.
“You gonna give me a hug or what?”
No,was the word [Name] wanted to reply back with. But she didn’t have the gall to do it. Instead she kept her safe distance from that wretched woman. [Name] kept her mouth closed and her fists clenched too tightly. Then she mustered up the confidence to speak.
“What do you want?” [Name] asked, her eyes squinting into a glare directed at her mother.
“You know what kind of proposal I’m going to give you.” Her mother rolled her eyes in annoyance and continued to say,  “It’s time for you to start your real training. Time for you to keep my dear friend happy.”
[Name] cleared her throat, the lump inside was too big to swallow, “I already told you and that man, I want nothing to do with your agenda.”
“Oh, my dear, [Name],” Her mother relaxed her shoulders and one foot began tapping against the floor, “do you want your poor dad to suffer? He’s a good man, we both know he doesn’t belong in our world.”
[Name] slammed her destroyed school bag on the floor, her mouth twitching in anger, “You leave my dad out of this. He wants nothing to do with you anymore and I don’t blame him. You used him then left him for some ugly ass guy. I won’t be used like my dad.”
Her mother sighed and threw her hands in the air. Her nails long and sharp, they glittered in the sun with the polish on them “Fine~ You leave me no choice then. You either train with me and accept your Siren quirk or you lose both your quirks surrendering them to that man.”
[Name] looked down at the floor and weighed her options. Losing her quirk doesn’t sound good and to leave it to that man to use it like it belonged to him made her blood boil. She was still going to attend U.A, maybe if she got a pro’s help then she’d be fine. Yes, that could work.
‘You want a show of my quirk, I’ll give it to you,’ [Name] wiped her eyes and looked back at her mother. “I’ll train with you, on the condition that you don’t visit this town anymore. I’ll meet up with you when you need me. It doesn’t go the other way around.”
Her mother shrugged her shoulders and began walking away from her, “That’s a good girl! I’ll see you soon, darling!”
[Name] stayed in her spot until her mother’s body was out of sight. When she was gone, the girl sucked in a deep breath and put her hand on her chest to feel her beating heart. She had to play her cards right. She knew her mother and that villain group she was a part of was going to utilize her especially because she was going to U.A.
“Hey, what the hell was that about?”
“Ahh!”
[Name] spun around and saw Katsuki looking at her with his scrutinizing red eyes. She picked up her bag and stupidly asked, “What do you mean?”
Katsuki scoffed and rolled his eyes, “Whatever, if you don’t wanna tell me about the shitty relationship you have with your old lady, I won’t ask.” He stuffed his hands into his jeans and began walking towards his house which was in the same direction of [Name]’s.
[Name] ran up to his side and looked at his body. His clothes weren’t as battered as hers, but she saw some light bruises and cuts around his body. “Hey Katsuki,” she offered softly, “let me heal our wounds together.”
“With a stupid song? No thanks, they can heal on their own.” He rejected quickly and [Name] laughed before clearing her throat. Together, they walked back to their houses with [Name] singing ‘When The Sun loves The Moon’. It was perfect because the sun was setting while the moon was coming out to greet its bright rays.
Katsuki listened intently to the lyrics and side glanced at the girl singing next to him. Despite their disagreements, Katsuki still found her, in his eyes, a great friend to him. Even towards stupid Deku. She was nice, fierce, strong and…pretty.
Katsuki looked away from her and shook his head in denial, ‘Yeah, right. She’s plain dumb, that’s it.’

Little KiriBakuDeku ficlet
(I have no idea what happened this ficlet just jumped out of my hands enjoy I guess???)
"I can't believe you gave me your quirk again. Dumbass."
"How was I supposed to know her quirk was a paralytic and not poison?! I thought I was dying, Kacchan!"
"Yeah, and look at how great that worked out for us." Katsuki pointedly glances upward where his arms are chained above his head, immobilized. "Now we're stuck because you don't have your quirk, and if I use it, my broken arm will explode."
"I said I was sorry!" Izuku wails.
"Guys," Eijiro suddenly cuts in. "Could you keep it down a bit? My head is killing me. I think I have a concussion."
"Oops, sorry Kirishima-kun!" Izuku whispers.
"Shit. Yeah, sorry."
The three fall silent for a moment while they contemplate their situation. Bound side by side in an abandoned warehouse, still feeling the after-effects of the villain's quirk, it isn't looking all that great, especially since Izuku is effectively quirkless at the moment and Katsuki is too banged up from the fight to use OFA without causing some serious damage to his own body. If only there was some way for him to transfer it back to Izuku… but they’re too far apart, with Eijiro hanging in between them as a further barrier
But then, as Izuku eyes the distance between them, his gaze catches momentarily on Eijiro's bare chest and the well-defined muscles on display. Absently he muses that it’s too bad that he hadn't passed on his quirk to Eijiro instead; though Kacchan will always be his first choice, if he'd given OFA to Eijiro then he would have easily been able to handle the raw power, and would have broken them out by now.
As the thought passes through his mind, an idea follows. It's absolutely crazy, but as far as Izuku's concerned, crazy might be just what they need right now.
"Hey, Kacchan. I have an idea to get us out of here," he murmurs lowly to both keep their kidnappers from overhearing and to avoid making Eijiro's headache worse
Katsuki had been dozing off a bit, clearly more out of it than he'd care to admit, but he perks up at the sound of Izuku's voice. "Oh? What the hell is it, then?"
Eijiro is paying attention too, watching Izuku quietly. He has an odd expression on his face, like he somehow knows that whatever Izuku's plan is, he's not going to like it.
Giving him an apologetic look, Izuku lays out his plan. "You need to give me back OFA."
"Gee, no shit," Katsuki scoffs. "How the fuck am I supposed to do that from over here, dipshit?"
"You're going to give it to Kirishima-kun first," Izuku continues, his breathing shaky. "And then he's going to give it to me."
The others still for a moment, considering Izuku's crazy plan.
"A-are you sure about that, Midoriya?" Eijiro asks. He glances between the two of them. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I want to get out of here too, but to...to hold your quirk seems...kinda...intimate?"
"I don't think we have much of a choice," Izuku admits with a grimace. "Besides. I trust you, Kirishima-kun."
"I feel like if we're going to do this, you should probably call me Eijiro."
Izuku can't help but give him a tight smile. "Only if you call me Izuku, then."
Eijiro grins. "Deal."
"I'm going to call you both braindead," Katsuki interrupts. "Because how the fuck am I supposed to even pass him OFA in the first place? I can't exactly rip a chunk of my hair out and shove it in his mouth like you did, weirdo."
Don't blush, don't blush, Izuku tells himself, but it's no use. He can feel his face burning hotter than one of Kacchan's explosions. "Well," he starts off haltingly. "We just need to exchange DNA. And, um. There's lots of DNA in...saliva."
Katsuki gives him a blank look. "You want me to spit in Shitty Hair's mouth?"
“N-no! That's not what I meant!" Izuku quickly denies, shaking his head wildly. "I just mean, we're close enough together, you could probably...kiss?"
The stunned disbelief is practically palpable in the air.
"You want us...to…kiss," Katsuki says slowly.
"I mean, it would work," Izuku defends weakly, wishing he could bury his face in his hands. "You just have to do it with intent."
"With intent, he says," Katsuki repeats, sounding dazed. "Oh my fucking god."
"It's okay, bro. I don't mind," Eijiro suddenly speaks up, his cheeks as red as his hair. "If it's just to, uh, just to escape, it's fine, right?"
Katsuki's expression shifts from dazed to alarmed to his default - angry - within the span of seconds, before settling on resigned. "Fuck. Okay, yeah, fuck, if it gets us out of here before that crazy bitch comes back. Fuck it."
"Okay, cool," Eijiro grins through his nerves.
"Fuck," Katsuki repeats. "Okay, fuck, let's do this." And then he leans over as far as he can in his restraints, Eijiro meeting him halfway, their eyes instinctively sliding shut as their lips meet.
Izuku thought it might be awkward, watching his two friends essentially make out while he's helpless to do anything but hang there, but as he stares at the pair, catching the tiniest glimpse of Kacchan's tongue slipping into Eijiro's mouth, he can't help but feel kind of warm and a little bit...hungry.
Katsuki and Eijiro's kiss starts off kind of awkward, but the moment Katsuki licks his way tentatively into Eijiro's mouth, it heats up, Eijiro's lips parting with a moan and his own tongue pushing up to stroke the intruder. It startles a gasp out of Katsuki, and Eijiro can't help but take advantage, taking control of the kiss. He nips lightly at Katsuki's lips, clearly enjoying the way it makes Katsuki's breathing shudder, and he can't help the tiny groan that escapes him when he feels Katsuki shyly bite him back.
The pair have become all but lost in each other when suddenly Izuku shifts, making his chains rattle, and all at once Katsuki and Eijiro are brought back to reality. They break apart with a gasp, and just take a moment to try to get their breathing under control.
Izuku is almost afraid to speak and break the spell of...whatever just happened, but he figures this is important. So he steels himself, and asks, "So did it work?"
Eijiro startles as if he'd forgotten Izuku was there, his entire torso flushed and heaving. "I - hah - I don't know. How can I tell?"
Izuku isn't really sure, to be honest, but he's saved from answering by Katsuki, who replies instead.
"It’s gone," he pants. "I don't have it anymore, I just checked."
Izuku can't help but brighten. "My idea worked, then?"
"Not yet," Katsuki shakes his head. "Shitty Hair still has to pass it back to you."
"Oh. Oh yeah." Izuku feels that warmth that had been burning in his chest while he watched Eijiro and Katsuki kissing turn into a bonfire as he realizes that means it's his turn. He tries to look at Eijiro out of the corner of his eye without making it obvious, but he catches Eijiro looking at him anyway.
"Right. Uh, let's just. Do it then?" Eijiro says slowly. "I-if you're ready, that is."
"I am!" Izuku lies. "Totally ready!"
"Just remember, Shitty Hair," Katsuki pipes up, watching the two of them with an odd expression. "It's all about fucking intent. You have to fucking mean it." He pauses, and then flushes when he realizes how that sounded, and quickly adds, "When you give the quirk back!"
"R-right!" Eijiro stutters. "Got it!" He then turns back to face Izuku. "You ready Mi-Izuku?"
"Yep!" Izuku squeaks out.
"Okay," Eijiro breathes, and then he's leaning in again, this time towards Izuku. For a second Izuku is too scared to move, just watching Eijiro's face come closer and closer, his eyes half-lidded, and then he catches sight of Katsuki watching him over Eijiro's shoulder and the jolt of pure want in his stomach spurs him into action. He doesn't so much kiss Eijiro as crash into him, eyes screwed shut.
Eijiro, to his credit, only lets out a little grunt of surprise, before he's moving back to soften the kiss. After his initial panic, Izuku's nerves make him pause, giving Eijiro a chance to take over, parting his lips slowly to give Izuku a chance to get used to the feeling of kissing another person. Still, Izuku can't help but squeak again when he feels Eijiro's warm, wet tongue sliding against his lips, trying to lick his way inside. After only a small moment of hesitation, Izuku allows his lips to part, and Eijiro's tongue slips in.
It feels weird. It feels amazing. Izuku is pretty sure he's about to spontaneously combust if he gets any hotter, but at the same time he'd rather die than let this moment end.
Izuku almost doesn't even register the moment OFA returns to him, too distracted by the way his heart feels like it's going to explode out of his chest every time Eijiro's tongue snakes its way into his mouth or his sharp teeth drag teasingly over Izuku's lips. But then the heat that's been flooding his body, making him burn from the inside out, starts to take on a more familiar electric feeling. Before he even knows what's happening, Izuku has unconsciously activated Full Cowl, snapping his restraints like they're cheap elastic bands so that he can reach up and wrap his arms fully around Eijiro's shoulders, hanging on for dear life.
"Oi!" Katsuki's shout cuts through Izuku's lust-filled haze. "Cut it out, fucker, you're free! Get us out too!"
Izuku pulls away from Eijiro with a gasp, eyes wide, chest heaving for breath. "Right! Shit, right, yes, right away, Kacchan!" He reaches up and pulls Eijiro's chains apart with minimal effort, completely unable to meet his eyes the whole time.
When he goes to free Katsuki, he can't help but duck his head in shame at the absolutely murderous expression on Katsuki's face. "S-sorry Kacchan. But hey, at least my plan worked?"
Katsuki doesn't say anything as Izuku makes quick work of his bonds, which only makes Izuku feel worse.
But then, the moment Katsuki is completely free, he grabs Izuku's collar with his good arm, spins them around to pin Izuku up against the wall, and then suddenly Izuku finds himself getting his brains kissed out for the second time in as many minutes.
And god, it's just as good as the first time. Katsuki is aggressive and firm, but not cruel, and his kiss leaves Izuku weak in the knees.
When Katsuki pulls away, Izuku almost whines in frustration. God, he wants to kiss Katsuki all day.
"When this is over, " Katsuki says lowly, glaring both of them down. "We are going to all have a fucking talk."
Izuku and Eijiro share a look, but rather than being intimidated, Izuku can tell they're both intrigued. He carefully shifts, trying to relieve some of the pressure in his pants, while Eijiro and Katsuki do the same.
"...my room?" Izuku suggests.
"No fucking way are we having this conversation in your goddamned All Might shrine," Katsuki immediately responds. "We'll do it in my room."
"...'it'?" Eijiro asks.
Izuku will never say it out loud for fear of death, but he thinks Katsuki's flustered expression is the cutest damn thing. "T-talk! The talk!" he clarifies. "Jesus."
"Okay," Izuku agrees, finally feeling his breathing get under control. "I'd like that."
"Same, bro."
"Alright." Katsuki's eyes slide shut as he tries to calm his racing heart. "Alright. Then let's get out of here so we can fucking...talk."
"Right!"
"Let's do this, Kacchan!"
And the three of them take off together to face their challenges together

Vanishing from sight wasn’t hard. It was keeping quiet enough to creep away without alerting people. Izumi just felt lucky she had practiced doing that. They slipped away from the park as the timer ticked down, the Water Hose duo calling for them.
They couldn’t risk it. It was too open, too easily seen. If Overhaul found them… it would lead to a fight. Better to get to safety.
“The Night Market will be open,” Izumi said once they were far enough away. She tucked Eri under her shoulder and adjusted her hood, happy she was wearing her favourite hoodie with the butterflies on it. The hood hid a lot of Izumi’s features when it was up. Ashan had given it to her, the gnome saying while disguise self worked, nothing beat an enchanted hood.
“It’s always fucking open,” Eri muttered, sounding upset. She’d been so excited to spend the day with Kota, but now they would have to hide.
“I know,” Izumi said softly. “I’m so sorry, Eri, I…”
“It’s not your fault the future goes to shit,” Eri grumbled. She sighed. “Sorry, I’m just upset.”
“It’s alright, kiddo, I get it.” Izumi patted Eri’s shoulder. “You looked awesome in the future, by the way.”
“So did you! And your partners,” Eri teased. “Total badasses.” Izumi flushed and coughed, looking anywhere but Eri. “Also, that tressym was totally your familiar! You have a pact of the chain!”
“I noticed,” Izumi mused. “That was a cute calico. I wonder what I named them.” Izumi and Eri continued their path to the Night Market, what some dramatic people in the know would call the meeting between worlds. In truth, it was just a market containing magic and technology that existed around the portal connecting their worlds. It just got termed the Night Market by someone who got bored, from what Izumi knew.
As the girls walked to the market, Nezu was busy emailing his employees. They needed to get the dorms up and beef up security. Plus, he would like to reach out to the students who sacrificed themselves in the future for the school. That sort of dedication should be rewarded, after all. He already knew that Shouta would be taking most of them!
Shouta checked his email with a glance, busy with his plans. He had to find the kids, Eri and Izumi. He remembered Eri saying that people had hurt her and Izumi fought off thugs, but he was also reasonably sure he’d met them before. A pair of green-haired sisters who’d been running from someone who could morph their body into things. Mimic, if Shouta remembered right. He was broken out rather dramatically, the walls of his cell destroyed, and police officers who couldn’t remember what happened only knew extreme pain. They were still looking.
The kids had to be hiding from them, and Shouta already checked about witness protection. Nothing. They were in danger and needed help. One would be his future student, one of HIS kids. They needed protection. (He would see those pictures of his students in that album until the day he died, even if it never happened this time around. He’d never wanted to bury a student. But he could have.) He wouldn’t fail.
Toshinori, outside the park, began to hunt for the two girls. Those had been Izumi and Eri, most likely, meaning they were central figures in the future. They needed protection and safety from harm. (All for One lived. They would never be safe, and it was all his fault.)
Monoma Neito wondered about his future as he watched the screen. Knowing he chose to destroy the world to save it weighed on his mind. He’d decided to risk it all. Neito got it; there were bodies upon bodies, and he doubted that they knew all of them. But destroying the world…
How bad did it truly get?
In Otheon, Rody held onto his siblings. Okay, so he had to get to Japan. How? Perhaps if he… no, that wouldn’t work. Maybe… no…
Holding onto his siblings, Rody could only wonder desperately as the screen began to play again. How could he save them?
In a small apartment, two young children are talking. One is a little girl with silvery hair and a horn upon her head, smiling as she looks up at the other, a preteen child with green hair and freckles, wearing a skirt.
“So apples are superior,” the little girl says.
“I dunno, I still like oranges,” the other girl teases. The younger huffs and opens her mouth only for the door leading out of the apartment to slam open. Both whirl around to see a green-haired woman enter, slamming the door and locking it. She turns to them, leaning on the door. Her eyes are wild.
“Inko?!” Masaru asked as Katsuki gasped. “I thought…” Masaru shook his head as Katsuki stared at the screen in shock.
Auntie? How… no, NO! That meant Izumi was DEKU. The worthless Quirkless freak who'd died with Auntie a few years back! It couldn’t be true! The fucker who’d stalked Katsuki!
“This is fake!” he yelled out angrily. Masaru sighed.
 “Katsuki…”
“It is!” he snapped. Masaru gave his son a stern look.
“Arguing back may work with your mother; it does NOT work with me, Katsuki,” Masaru said firmly. Katsuki scowled. After the Hag went to that mental health facility when Auntie died, his old man got stern about a lot of stuff. There was therapy and shit to go to, which sucked so much because the hack always tried to say Katsuki had some personality thing when he didn’t. He didn’t! It was a lie trying to make him seem weak!
They pulled him out of Aldera to send him to some stupid school that, sure, was better academically, but they were so annoying about Quirk usage. (Katsuki would admit he did realize how Aldera broke the law by letting them use it all the time, but this school just was so harsh about it.) The only good thing was he remained on top with the teachers, knowing he would be the next number one, and the extras all knowing it.
In the Bakugou’s house, Mitsuki covered her eyes. She’d had a suspicion. Izumi looked so much like Inko, which made the blonde woman hope she hadn’t lost the connection to her old friend (ex, lover, all the names blurred until it was just Inko). She hadn’t! Izuku… Izumi lived! Mitsuki saw the girl and knew who she’d been.
Oh god, it explained so much. Inko was reaching out about trans things, about hormones. Mitsuki hadn’t talked to Inko about it in years after Mitsuki whispered it into the other’s ear, terrified, thanks to her asshole parents. Inko helped Mitsuki get out and land a job where she could be a woman. It ended their romance; Inko was not into women, but Mitsuki still had the other around. It was fine.
Then Inko died, and things cracked. Mitsuki could only thank the gods for Masaru, who helped her get treatment. Who held her hand throughout the therapy sessions and accepted her realization she’d been a bad wife for a while and a semi-terrible mother. She loved him so damn much. Meeting at that trans support meeting was the best thing that ever happened to her, right there with him getting pregnant with Katsuki.
And now, Izumi was alive. Mitsuki had to find her and help the girl. She had to save her friend’s daughter.
 She had to.
“Izumi! Butterfly! I need you to take Eri and run!” She shouts.
“Mom?” The older child asks. She looks panicked but is moving to pick up the other.
 “Miss Inko?” the younger asks.
“Babies, please- RUN!” Inko says. The door shakes, and Inko looks at them pleadingly. Izumi, the eldest, runs. She runs with Eri in her arms as she reaches a sliding door which opens to a balcony with a ladder attached heading to the ground. The two scurry down it as shouting and screams begin to happen. Izumi runs with Eri, ducking down alleyways. She clutches the younger into her arms tightly, looking around. Voices seem to follow them, all shouting about the two girls.
“Oh hell!” a few people said, staring at the fleeing girls in horror. What was going on? Who was chasing them?
 Only a few knew.
Chisaki Kai watched the screen with a frown behind his mask. That was Eri, the missing part of the Quirk removing bullets. And next to her was Izuku, the child he’d also been searching for—a pure Quirkless child, born without the disease known as Quirks. Sure, the boy had been interested in them, but Kai knew it wouldn’t be hard to show him the truth.
Except the Boss kept Kai away from Izuku, looking at him strangely. Kai hated it, knowing he was so close to the perfect human but unable to approach. It had been part of the reason to deal with the boss, giving him access to the boy. Such an ideal child, full of potential. So beautiful.
Then Eri was taken, and when his men went after Inko, the children vanished. The piece of the puzzle and the perfect child. Missing, all of them. Now he saw Eri, but not Izuku…
Except there he… she was. Izumi. Izuku had discovered her true identity. Kai hadn’t expected that, though he was thankful the girl transitioned rather than just saying it without changing. People who made those far-fetched claims about being a different gender but didn’t change always made Kai roll his eyes. Idiots wanting to be unique.
Izumi was beautiful. More than she had been and Kai felt his plans begin to twist. He needed Eri, needed Izumi. Both of them were important to his plans.
 He would have them.
 “They went this way!”
 “I saw the kids!”
 “Remember, we can’t hurt them!”
The two girls keep moving until Izumi turns down an alley and freezes. It leads to nothing but a brick wall. The older girl shakes, staring at it. The younger begins to cry.
“I can go back! You can escape-“ Eri says, but Izumi holds her tight.
“No, you’re not going back; we can… we can…” Izumi says, looking lost.
“They need to keep running,” a hero murmured. Get to a hero agency and find people to help them. They needed to get to safety.
“I can help,” a voice says, and Izumi turns with Eri. A tall man stands there, with skin incredibly pale and eyes just as colourless. His black hair hung to his back, and he stared at them. He’s impossibly beautiful but also cold, looking like he’ll cut someone from the strap ridges, but you couldn’t look away from him.
“I… who are you…” Izumi steps back, keeping her eyes on him.
“Someone willing to help for a price.” The man offers a hand. Izumi stares at it and then at him, eyes wide. Shouting and footsteps occur once more. Her shoulders slump. She looks up at him and reaches out to touch his hand with her right one…
“Don’t do it,” Toshinori said softly. Whoever that man was, he couldn’t be safe. Appearing when the girl was at the most risk, offering his help for a price… could he be one of All for One’s men? Could Izumi and Eri have worked for the man before escaping his grasp? It had to be, and the idea was terrifying.
He needed to save them, help them. He had to be there for them…
In his lair, All for One rolled his eyes as loud bangs continued from Balor’s pod. Malivor had sent many warlocks after him to free Balor; All for One didn't care about this new one. She had taken down Shigaraki, but it wasn’t him! This Izumi would be another drop in the bucket. Fools, thinking they could take him down.
A fourteen-year-old Izumi sits up in bed, breathing heavily as she sits there. Her hair is longer, and a mess of curls she shoves out of her face as she gets out of bed. She stumbles to turn on a light switch near her bed and stands in a messy room. She closes her eyes and breathes. She opens them and looks at her right wrist. On it is an M in a fancy script; she stares at it for a long moment.
“I hate and love you,” she says to herself. She turns off the light and returns to bed, her thoughts echoing.
Here’s the thing. Not all people are equal. Some have more power than others, whether it be through birth, gender, or Quirk. It’s a fact I learned young. The teenager pulls the covers around her tighter as she drifts off to sleep.
“Love?” Eri asked, raising an eyebrow at Izumi.
“Watch the judgement. It's impossible NOT to love someone who holds your soul like that,” Izumi defended. “He owns my soul, Eri, and it's tied to him in a way that's beyond mortal understanding. It would be weirder if I didn't love him a little.”
Izumi awakens some hours later, leaving bed to stumble around her bedroom to dress in a dark purple sleeveless hoodie and ripped jeans. Izumi takes a moment to do her hair in a mirror above her dresser, using a folded black bandana. A pair of butterfly earrings are added to the outfit with a soft smile.
“Looking good,” she tells herself with finger guns. She leaves her bedroom to enter a living room where a little girl works on a scrapbook with a backpack next to herself. The girl also has green hair in a crown braid around her head. She wears an elementary school uniform consisting of slacks and a polo shirt.
“Izumi!” the girl says upon seeing the teenager. “You’re dressed down today.”
“She is,” Tsunami said to Enyo. Izumi tended to wear three accessories when she could get away with it, plus those platform boots she loved so much. She'd forgone them for Kota’s birthday, but even then, she'd worn fishnet under her pants and had a dozen pins on her backpack.
“Not feeling the energy to dress up. But are you ready, Eri?” Izumi asks. The little girl nods eagerly, picking up the backpack.
“Fuck yeah! I got my homework and everything!” Eri bounces on her feet. “Let’s go!” Izumi laughs.
“Wow, she just let that one loose,” chuckled a civilian. Those who knew the girl winced, though. Midoriya Eri had the worst mouth of anyone they knew, and she was barely nine.
How worse would she get in the future?
“Alright, let’s go, kiddo,” the two leave the apartment, letting Izumi lock it behind her.
“It’s a good thing I never take the same route,” muttered Izumi. She escorted her sister all the time and, as shown on the screen, always took long paths. They never repeated a route if they could help it—much too dangerous.
Upon reaching the school, Izumi takes a moment to hug Eri tightly, holding the little girl to herself firmly.
“Go and have fun, okay?” Izumi says to the girl.
“I always do! Love you, Izumi!” Eri beams, and Izumi laughs. She waves the girl off and turns to leave.
The screen morphs again to show a baby glowing, giggling as its father looks at the child in shock. “The first incident occurred in Qing Qing City. A child born able to produce light. It was the first major Quirk revealed. Theorists assume it was the first emitter Quirk of its kind, mental Quirks or physical Quirks having occurred in small amounts throughout the years,” Izumi narrates. “However, as if a bomb or some sort of detonation occurred, multiple people began showing signs of superhuman abilities such as water powers, flying and more.”
The screen moves to show people fighting then, people with Quirks fighting against some with guns. “War broke out after some countries tried to enforce strict laws against those with powers. The word Quirk came about when a mother tried to protect her child by claiming the baby simply was Quirky, not a danger.” The screen shows the mother holding her child, who burps fire.
“Wait, really?” Kamianri Denki asked. “That's cool. Never knew how it happened.”
“Me either,” Jirou Kyoka said thoughtfully to her classmate. They had been put together for a project and met at the library to work on it. The screen, though, derailed them quite a bit. “It makes sense, saying they were Quirky rather than not.”
“It does.” Denki hummed in thought. “Wonder why they never tell us that in school.”
“Doesn't sound as cool as the other stuff, probably.”
 “You're right.”
“People without Quirks began dwindling over time until there remained only 20% of the global population without them. I was born Atakani Izuku, a Quirkless boy.”
The screen morphs to show a doctor’s office. A bald man with glasses and a bottle brush mustache sits casually in a chair, boredom in his tone. “Sorry, kid, you don’t have any chance of being a hero.”
The little boy and a slim, green-haired woman who looks like him are shown sitting in chairs. The little boy drops an All Might toy that had been clutched in his hand, eyes wide.
“Ouch,” a fair few people said. Recovery Girl frowned, shaking her head. A terrible bedside manner that.
“Kids gotta have a Quirk,” a few people said, though. “Probably like specific activation.”
“Hey, Magne,” one of the people working at a coffee shop said to their co-worker. “You're trans, right?”
“Just because I prefer masculine clothes and the such doesn't make me less of a woman, but yes,” Magne said in a dry voice. She'd gotten into many fights over that, which was the reason behind her rap sheet. ‘They were transphobic’ didn't work well as a defence when you didn't care to transition like Magne. She loved herself the way she was and found that people who tried to force her into a box were as bad as anyone else.
“Did you figure out your Quirk when you became trans? You can magnetize people, right?” her co-worker continued.
“I was always trans, but figuring it out DID expand my horizons and have me realize things,” Magne said. “Maybe the kid is the same. Or maybe she's the first Quirkless hero.”
 “That would be badass.”
“Excuse me, how can you say that?” The woman asks as she places a hand on her child’s back. “That’s so cruel! We simply came to ask about why his Quirk isn’t coming in, not asking if my son can be a hero or not?!” The doctor rolls his eyes as the screen focuses on both sets of people.
“What Quirks do you and the boy’s father have?” the doctor asks. The woman glares but sighs.
“Nothing too special,” she says, moving a hand to make a pulling motion. The toy floats up. “I can pull small objects towards myself while my husband breathes fire. Izuku here has some form of protection from fire. He doesn’t burn easily.”
“Not uncommon,” Nezu mused. It wasn't considered a Quirk but rather a mutation that could be passed down from parents. Young… hmm, he didn't know Izumi’s last name. It was Atakani, giving him the ability to look into the family to try and figure out how the mother died, but unless she went through the legal system, she wouldn't be in witness protection.
Frankly, he wouldn't be surprised if she hadn't. The system wasn't very airtight, and whoever that man was who helped her, Nezu didn't believe he was an upstanding citizen. Izumi and Eri probably used the black market version of witness protection.
 He hoped they were safe.
“Young Izuku’s fireproof mutation should have been a sign of his own Quirk,” the doctor says. “It’s not uncommon for a mutation to pass on without a Quirk attached, but usually, with these cases, he should have his father’s Quirk.” The doctor waves a hand at a set of X-rays. “While it isn’t impossible for someone to develop a Quirk later, the chances of it are highly unlikely thanks to these x-rays.”
“The pinky joint theory?” the woman asks.
“…Indeed. You know the theory, Mrs. Atakani?” The doctor asks.
“Yes, I know it. People with Quirks rarely have the joint; something like a 20% chance, correct?” Mrs. Atakani glares at the man. He sighs.
“Yes, and while there is a chance of young Izuku being what we term a false negative, which is someone who has a Quirkless body but a Quirk, it’s rare. There is almost no chance your son will develop a Quirk.”
No, Izumi never developed a Quirk. She'd taken a cheater's path and made a deal with a being much more dangerous.
As Izumi stared at the screen, at her mother, who was so damn alive in the past, she wondered. What if Inko could run with them? Would they still have been cornered? Would Izumi have taken Lord Malivor’s hand? Would the contract still be burned onto her skin and her life forfeited?
Izumi didn't know. And she was terrified of the answer. She didn't regret her deal. It was impossible to, but it was also something she dwelled on.
 What if?
The screen changes to show young Izuku sitting at a desk watching a video. It’s of All Might’s debut, him saving so many people. He watches with teary eyes. His mother comes up behind him, watching with him.
“…Do you think I could still be a hero?” Izuku whispers. His mother sobs then.
“I’m so sorry, Izuku,” she says, turning the chair around to hug him. “I’m so so sorry.”
While they hug, Izumi’s voice continues. “It’s illegal to discriminate against the Quirkless, but it still happens. We were charged twice the normal amount at my elementary school, and I was often put last regarding medical concerns. I can’t count how many times I went to the hospital thanks to one little brat I knew.” A blonde child is shown hurting Izuku with his Quirk, laughing. “Each time, everyone else came first.” The bitterness is evident in Izumi’s voice.
“It can't be that bad,” Ashido Mina said. The Quirkless were a dying percent of the population; it couldn't be as bad as mutation discrimination. Mina had been told to leave so many stores because of her looks, but she hadn't been denied medical treatment! It sounded ridiculous.
“You never know,” her mother said. “Some people can get very nasty about things.” Mina shook her head, unable to believe it. Izumi had to be lying, or maybe she hadn’t been hurt as badly. Doctors wouldn’t ignore people just because they didn’t have a Quirk. They didn’t.
“You get used to it, though, sadly. My ass of a father scrammed when I was declared Quirkless, and my mom was fired because of my Quirk status. Illegal, yes, but they made the excuse of her missing too many days thanks to me getting injured, leading to her needing to take care of me.” Mrs. Atakani is shown carrying a box of items.
“Did that actually fucking happen?!” Eri asked Izumi as they approached the entrance to the Night Market.
“I believe so,” Izumi said. “Somewhat, anyway. I got hurt a lot thanks to the other kids, and Mom did miss a lot of work. It’s possible that was actually the reason, but…”
“You don’t think so,” Eri said.
“I don’t. If it was, they knew I was being bullied. A good boss would have done something for Mom,” Izumi lifted her hand to place on the brick wall in front of her, whispering a spell to activate the passage. “So I think it was because of that.” Izumi and Eri stepped through the shimmering bricks to enter a large area full of people, all incredibly varied in their looks. Tall beings with horns and tails, all the colours of a rainbow, were mixed in with short people with pointed ears and various skin colours, too. People with wings walked with people who looked like dragons, and blue-skinned, elven-looking people were avoided.
Along with the people were tents, all of which sold various things. Some were what people would expect in a market: food, fashion, random nicknacks and more. Others, though, were unbelievable.
 “Potions! Get your potions here!”
 “Spell scrolls!”
“Enchanted jewellery for sale!” the vendors called as Izumi and Eri entered the area. Even there, screens floated in front of people, some of them joining together to create larger screens, but most people were ignoring them. After all, it was just magic. Some divination wizard’s spell, no matter how it had happened.
A few people did recognize Izumi and Eri but left them alone. Kids were already dealing with enough; it was better to leave them alone. The only people who bothered to acknowledge them were the friends they’d made in the markets. One of whom waved them to her stall.
“Well, dearies,” Madame Fairbraid said, the forest gnome puffing on her pipe, “isn’t this interesting?” the slightly green-skinned woman grinned as she directed the girls to the back of her tent.
“No deliveries today?” Izumi asked the brunette woman, who shrugged, eyes glowing purple. Of course, the wizard knew what was going on; Izumi never met someone as strong as her with divination before. Or, well, Monoma might take that spot one day.
“Nope, figured you being twitchy about a little smuggling wouldn’t be good today,” Madame Fairbraid said with a puff of her pipe. Izumi rolled her eyes. Smuggling potions wasn’t illegal in Japan, mainly because few people knew about magic. The unlawful part came because Madame Fairbraid sold them to hospitals for heroes. Izumi didn’t care about that too much. She got her own potions from the Madame, after all, and they were beneficial.
Ten to one, they’d become a legitimate business anyway when the truth came out.
The screen morphs again to show bird-masked people. “And with few wanting to hire her… well, sometimes good people don’t have much choice but to work with bad.”
“Inko,” Mitsuki moaned. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
Probably because of Katsuki. Mitsuki swallowed, covering her face in shame. After Inko died, they’d figured out how badly Katsuki treated Izuk-Izumi. They had been ashamed, and part of the reason he was in therapy was so he could understand where he’d gone wrong. The therapist Katsuki spoke to always said they were working on it, while Katsuki just complained. Mitsuki felt sick knowing her son couldn’t understand where he went wrong.
Where had they gone wrong? When had Katsuki’s actions hurt Izumi so much that Inko pulled back? When had it all fallen apart?
Elsewhere, Nezu sighed. A familiar tale, sadly, a family damned because of how one of them was treated. It was only lucky Izumi and Eri escaped with their lives, even if Izumi probably had made a deal with the devil.
The screen shows Izumi as she walks down the street. A loud bang occurs, and she turns around, her eyes suddenly widening. “Oh! A villain attack?” she asks. She heads towards it, pulling a notebook out from her hoodie pocket. Maybe there will be something new to analyze for my blog! Her thoughts broadcast over the screen.
An angular-faced giant man stands on an overpass above a sign saying Tatooin Station, roaring. Izumi stops behind a police line, whistling. “Wow, that’s a big criminal,” she remarks. Her voiceover occurs again.
“With Quirks, it shouldn’t be a surprise that there arose people who used them for their own gain, and those who used them to help. The first people who did so would be termed vigilantes nowadays. But we still call them heroes.”
A silver-haired man dressed in blue and yellow catches a steel electrical tower falling before throwing it away.
“Oh, nice! Way to go, Death Arms!” a bystander cheers.
“So cool!” civilians cheered as the hero smirked, posing a little. It hadn’t happened yet, but he was delighted he showed up so soon. Perhaps he inspired Izumi to be a better hero? The girl probably activated some Quirk after all if she was a hero in the future.
“The Punching Hero!” another onlooker shouts. “I wish I had a quirk that made me super strong!”
Some people push against the police line, even as officers try to keep them back. They’re stopped by ropes of water as another hero dressed in firefighter garb appears. “Everyone, please stay back. This area is far too dangerous!” the man shouts. The civilians barely listen.
“Whoa! The rescue specialist Backdraft is here? He’ll make sure we’re okay!”
“Not if you don’t listen,” Izumi mutters as she writes in her notebook. “Man, keep back, idiots,” she says to herself.
“She’s right, they need to stay back,” Shouta muttered as he headed to Nezu’s office. Hopefully, the principal would have a lead for him to follow on what the hell was going on. People would be at risk if they got too close, and then they would point fingers at heroes instead of admitting fault. It never ended.
“Who is the criminal?” Izumi wonders.
“Just some amateur,” a man tells her. He points at a woman standing beside an officer. “Stole her bag and got himself cornered by some sidekick.”
“Seriously?” another person speaks up. “A Quirk like that, and he’s just a petty thief?”
“Gigantification Quirks are rare,” Izumi agrees casually as she writes in her notebook. “Or, well, the scale he can go to. I think the normal height is, what, ten feet?”
“Eleven,” Nezu mused as he let in Shouta. “But she’s on the right track!” he grinned. “I’m currently looking for the Atakani family, though I am a bit distracted.”
“Any idea about any of the others? Other than Tenya?” Shouta asked Nezu.
“Not yet; we’ll have to wait and see to learn their names.” Nezu mused. “As well as the villains mentioned in the future.”
“I’ve heard of Dabi- he’s a serial arsonist who burned down that bar a few weeks back, the one that had rules about what Quirks were allowed inside,” Shouta said. It was a place that had been close to being shut down for the blatant discrimination, given they went after things like fire Quirks. The fact it was ‘harmless’ Quirks being targeted had been the issue for people. Meanwhile, you had places with signs saying no mutation Quirks, and those got away with it because of allergies usually. It was a sad thing, that sort of crap being allowed. Yet, Shouta knew that even before Quirks, racism and discrimination had been a problem. He’d heard people talk dreamily of going back to then, with Quirks not an issue anymore. They ignored the history lessons talking about foreigners being banned from places, of hair dye being forbidden in schools, and the stories of the nail being hammered down.
Discrimination would always be a problem; it was just people choosing new things to hate.
“I’ve heard of Toga and Mr. Compress,” Nezu said pleasantly. “We’ll have to look into it more.”
“Huh,” the man who told her about the criminal says. “Didn’t know that.”
“I run an analysis blog; I like Quirks.” Izumi muses as she writes. A shadow passes over, and Izumi glances up, gasping. “Kaumi Woods?!”
The screen shows a man dressed in black with a wooden mask using branches to swing himself to a roof. A group of teens squeal, all dressed in their uniforms.
“It’s Kamui! We’re your biggest fans!” the girls cry.
“Wow! Didn’t he just enter his solo hero career?” Izumi wonders, writing more. “Man, this is a good fight!”
“It really is,” Izumi agreed with her future counterpart. Kamui Woods had been a sidekick for years, and his recent debut into a solo career was something she followed with interest. It was so cool!
“One look at that dopey grin, and I know what you are,” states an older man with star-shaped antennae protruding from his cheeks and the top of his head. He grins at Izumi. “A fangirl!” he laughs.
“Caught me!” laughs Izumi. “Like I said, I run a blog!” And an analysis business in between online classes, but I won’t tell him that. Her thoughts echo.
“Oh?” Nezu grinned, very interested in hearing that. Even if she was just a small-time name, her being able to run a business was fascinating.
Elsewhere, Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa raised an eyebrow. He had a feeling he knew who Izumi was as an analyst. He’d long since known that Fae Analysis, the top ‘unprofessional’ analyst in this prefecture and the ones around them, was a teenager. He’d avoided telling Nezu if only cause the idea of him moulding her mind was a little terrifying.
Kamui Woods lands on top of an arch above the train tracks, glaring at the giant man. “Assault, robbery, and illegal use of powers during rush-hour traffic. You are the incarnation of evil!” He winces slightly.
“Oof, bad catchphrase moment,” Izumi mutters as she writes things down. “Can’t all be ‘I am Here’ though.” She writes more things down as Kamui Woods poses.
Kamui Woods coughed as he pulled out his notebook to strike the catchphrase off. It was a bit much.
“Pre-emptive binding Lacquered Chain Prison!” Kamui Woods shouts as the branches from his arm arch toward the criminal. However, right before the land, a feminine voice calls,
“Canyon Cannon!” A giant woman kicks the criminal, knocking him off the overpass. Izumi winces, hissing through her teeth as she looks at the street.
“Oh damn,” she says. “Bad move.”
“Huh?” the star man asks her.
“Look at the property damage,” Izumi says as she writes. However, the cameras clicking make Izumi look up to see the woman posing with her ass pointing at the cameras.
The woman in question, a young sidekick, beamed at the screen. Property damage? Big deal! She had just made her debut! And she looked hot!
“There’s the money shot,” laughs one. Izumi groans but pulls out her phone to take a picture.
“Piece of cake for the world’s next hottest hero,” the giantess states as she leans down, shaking her ass slowly. “Hi everyone. I’m Mt. Lady, and you don’t need to worry about this bum anymore,” The woman winks.
“… That was just BAD,” Izumi says.
“Yeah, that was. God, how old is she? She looks so young…” the star man says.
“Don’t know,” Izumi says with a sigh. “Man, look at Kamui. He just got his entire catch stolen.” She frowns as she looks at the tree hero whose shoulders are slumped.
“There was no need for that,” a man commented to his friend. He looked over at a blonde woman who went a bit pink. While Mt. Lady had a mask on in the future, it wasn’t too hard to tell what she looked like, and there she was. “He had it well in hand.”
“Pushy,” his friend scoffed. “She’s going to wash out if she keeps acting like that; it’s too similar to what his face… that guy with…”
“That Captain guy? Yeah, he was a nutjob,” snorted the first man. “Really pushy about being the perfect hero? He got how many people killed?”
Mt. Lady, or Takeyama Yu, glared at the gossiping men. She wasn’t that bad! She’d done well, and she… okay, maybe stole the catch, but she still saved people! It shouldn’t matter how she’d done it if she had it in the bag! She needed money for the damage of her fights!
(She ignored the voice, wondering about Kamui Woods also needing money.)
“It’s common,” Izumi’s voiceover says, “for heroes to fight over captures and other things. Their carers depend on their ability to do good work, but to get higher in the ranks, you have to stay in the spotlight.” Mt. Lady poses at a much smaller size with the smaller version of the criminal as Kamui Woods speaks with a cop, still looking depressed. Izumi is shown close to the site of the takedown. She pulls out her phone to take more pictures.
“Can she control her size? Why is she here? A giant hero is more useful out in the country,” muses Izumi. “Though I suppose if this is what happens when she takes down villains… yeah, she needs money. Less chances for fame in the country…”
“Huh. You want to be a hero to kid?” the star man asks, having followed.
“Huh? Oh yeah, more than anything,” Izumi laughs.
“Well, if you use that brain, I don’t doubt you’ll make it, kid!” the man laughs, waving as he walks off. Izumi giggles.
Nice guy, she thinks before the screen changes to show her sitting at a kitchen table typing up a review of the fight. Her blog title is shown on the laptop she’s working on: Fae Analysis.
“Oh! Delightful!” Nezu grinned with all his teeth as Shouta shuddered. Great, she attracted the attention of the most intelligent person in the world. Fae Analysis had been making waves the past two years, and knowing she was an impressionable teenager meant Nezu would be all over that, more so since she didn’t have an analysis Quirk or an intelligence one. Nezu hated dealing with people with those, given how competitive they could be or because they used it too much as a crutch. There had been a teenager who threw a fit at being denied a place in UA recently, an Interi Saiko who boosted her intelligence while drinking tea. She had failed horribly at the entrance exam and had been furious they weren’t just letting her in because she was brilliant.
Nezu had been annoyed by the girl enough that he'd told several other intelligence heroes about her, which Shouta knew would limit her internships for a while. They wouldn’t be so cruel as to outright ban her forever, but she’d probably have to wait until her second or third year of high school before being allowed to intern with them. They’d also tell her why, so either she would shape up while realizing she wasn’t the most important person in the world, or she would run herself into the ground.
It wasn’t an isolated incident, and it was why Nezu only ever taught students without any Quirk similar to his own, Hizashi being the one person Shouta knew best out of the personal students. So Izumi would catch his eye, and the idea somewhat terrified Shouta. Nezu moulding an already skilled analyst further? Terrifying.
Outside his office, there were primarily people freaking out about the blog being run by a teenager and a very embarrassed Mt. Lady realizing Izumi would drag her on said blog.
It could ruin her before she started. Maybe she should think more about collateral damage…
She hums, pausing as she studies the screen. “No… that doesn’t work…” she mutters, deleting the typed word before nodding as she finishes. She posts the article and stretches. “Alright, that’s done. Lectures were listened to; assignments started for next week, the ones for this week sent in… errand time.” she stands up from the table, pausing when a chime occurs. She pulls her phone out of her pocket.
Detective Truthman: Fae, we’re sending you some videos tonight. Need analysis ASAP, double the usual rate. Her phone’s text messages read, along with a reminder from her calendar app. Izumi nods and sends back an affirmative to the text before she goes to the bathroom. Opening her medicine cabinet reveals rows of vials full of strange liquid. She takes one that’s a bright pink, drinking it down with a shudder. Her face glows slightly before changing a little. Her jawline softens somewhat, and her neck seems slimmer. She smiles.
“Whoa!” people stared at the screen in shock. Izumi grinned, eyeing her face. She liked it.
“Hey, Madame, I do need more estrogen potions now that I’m here,” she told Fairbraid, who motioned at a crate.
“Take what you need, kid. I’ll just get you to run a few errands. Think you might like one; I need to send some stuff to Otheon.” Madame Fairbraid grinned at Izumi, who flushed, remembering one of her future partners was there.
The woman was way too sly.
“That’s useful,” a doctor said. The woman tapped her chin. “I wonder if there’s someone with a Quirk that lets them make… well, I guess potions is the best term. I know a few people who’ve passed out similar vials to patients.”
“Seems like it, and that Izumi has an in.” said a nurse. The man grinned. “Pretty cool.”
 “Yeah, it is.”
“Looking good,” Izumi repeats herself from earlier before the screen moves to show her walking down the street. She has some bags hanging from her arm, all empty. She scrolls through her phone. “Alright, need to go to the grocery store and the hardware store…” she looks up and freezes. A man in a face mask with blue arrow-like hair walks down the street. Izumi’s eyes narrow. She checks around herself to see no one around before glancing up. She moves to hide in a small doorway, her hand moving to touch her face.
“Omnia mutation,” she says. A green glow covers her face, and then suddenly, a plain-looking man in a business suit stands where she had been.
“What?!” the Water Hose duo asked in surprise. How did she do that? She turned invisible earlier.
Toshinori bit his lip. He hoped the girl didn’t make a deal for multiple Quirks; things like that never worked out. He pulled his phone out to text Nezu, hesitating before messaging Mirai and Gran Torino. Best to cover his bases.
Meanwhile, Kai glared at Chronostasis, who glared at the screen. How could he fail the boss like that? How could he get spotted?
And how did that kid get a fucking Quirk? It had to be unnatural, meaning they’d have to remove it. Ugh, that just meant more work for all of them!
Izumi, in her disguise, steps out of the doorway and towards the man who does not notice her.  Passing by, the disguised Izumi elbows the other in his side. She whispers, “Impero te.”
“Ah! Watch it!” the masked man says as he stumbles.
“Oh, sorry!” Izumi says, her voice is masculine. Both of their eyes lock, and Izumi’s eyes shine. “Are you okay?”
“Oh, yes,” the masked man’s eyes shine to. “I’m fine…” he trails off slowly.
“You sure?” Izumi asks, the voice thick with worry. “You look a little sick.”
“I’m…” the masked man blinks. “I do feel ill…”
“Come on, let’s go sit,” Izumi waves down an alleyway, and the man follows. They walk briefly before Izumi turns around, and her authentic voice emerges, “Obdormiscere.” The masked man’s eyes roll up, and he drops. Izumi catches him, her disguise falling as she does. “Ugh! Chronostasis, you’re still a heavy jerk.” She grunts as she moves to lay him on the ground, uncaring of any mess. She looks at him with a bitter glare. “I hate you so much; you’re lucky I don’t kill.” She growls before she begins to look through his pockets.
“What the fuck?!” was the general consensus. She didn’t kill? He was lucky she didn’t? For sure, he was, given she’d just knocked him out quickly and now was rifling through his things. What was going on?
 And who was Chronostasis?
One person knew very well the green and yellow-haired man glaring at the screen. This Izumi was dangerous, connected to someone who gave her a Quirk and to the yakuza group he’d been tracking for the last few years. They were searching for something…
They were searching for those two girls, weren’t they? Perhaps Izumi was not as dangerous as Mirai feared… perhaps.
Izumi pulls out his phone and opens it, grabbing the man’s hand to use his fingerprint to unlock the screen. She studies the phone. “Nothing. Alright then,” she puts the phone back in the man’s pocket before going to his head. She kneels above it and places her hands on his skull. “Video veritatem,” she says. Her eyes glow a deep green.
Images cross the screen, showing the masked man in a bird face mask speaking with another man in a similar mask. They show the men going to schools and observing the children before flickering to show them looking at other schools. Two pictures show up, one of a green-haired male teenager and the other of a little girl with silver hair and a horn on her head.
“Good, you didn’t find us,” muttered Izumi, her eyes losing their glow. She moves back to search the man, stealing his wallet. She smirks at the man and then speaks, “Impero tibi,” her voice echoes. “You will forget this happened. All you remember is some punk teenager stealing your wallet. You’ll leave the school alone.” She orders. She stands up and walks away.
“Holy fuck,” Shinsou Tamae said as she stared at the screen. Her nephew Hitoshi also stared at the screen in awe. That was a terrifying power. Dangerous in the wrong hands. But it was like his Quirk. Hitoshi loved it, loved seeing that and having seen Izumi as a hero.… it was terrific to see her shine like that. She had a similar power to his!
Hitoshi had only ever gotten crap about his Quirk. Teachers avoid his questions, and other kids shun him. People refused to look at him, and his father outright left because of it. Hitoshi didn’t remember the man well; he only remembered the blonde man leaving one day. His aunt told him it was because his father was a hero who worried about his image. Asshole. At least he paid his child support, but Hitoshi hated being reminded of him. His mother abandoned him, too, unlike his dad, who left because of his Quirk.
He'd be a hero and shove it in his father’s face. And he'd be a hero with Izumi, right? So they could maybe be friends…
Around Japan, a lot of people reacted with fear over the scene, seeing how Izumi was able to manipulate the memories of the man. But others reminded themselves she would be a hero one day, that it wasn't that scary of a power compared to others. Besides, he was a villain. Who cares about those people?
“Not all people are created equal,” her voice says. “But sometimes we can even things out if you know where to look. However, I don’t suggest my route.
The potential of losing everything just doesn’t make it worthwhile.”
“What sort of monster did she deal with?!” Toshinori asked. It was a question repeated by multiple people around Japan and even by Catherine in the States.
What power did she gain, and what was the price she paid?
“Alright, so they’re watching us but haven’t caught us. Guess changing our last name and moving back here worked,” Izumi mutters as she walks. “I’ll talk to Eri and warn her. We’re passing her Quirk off as a minor healing one…. We might have to start contouring her face more…”
As Izumi walks, she passes by a grate. It begins shaking, and she pauses, turning. A bunch of sludge rises from it, laughing. “A perfect invisibility suit!” A masculine voice laughs.
“Dol-“ Izumi lifts a hand, but the sludge moves faster and suddenly it’s on her. Part of it entered her mouth. Izumi gives a strangled scream and drops her cloth bags, grabbing at the sludge.
“Izumi!” Eri said, her arms going to wrap around her sister. Izumi hugged the girl back, watching the screen with worry. It was mimicked by people around Japan, even those who now feared her thanks to her Quirk. No one wanted her dead.
Or, well, not all of them did. Some did, finding her powers scary, but did not discuss it. It wouldn’t look good for them to say anything.
“Man, thanks kid! You’re really my hero!” Laughs the sludge villain.
Shit, I can’t speak! Can’t cast anything! Izumi thinks. Her hands grab at the sludge. Shit shit, I need… I need…
“Ha!” the sludge villain laughed. He managed to beat the girl just by preventing her from speaking! What a weakling!
The grate explodes, and a large man appears. “Have no fear, for you are safe! NOW THAT I AM HERE!” Shouts the man.
“Aww hell,” the villain muttered. He was dead.
Meanwhile, people let out relieved breaths, knowing All Might would save Izumi, who was freaking out that All Might himself would save her.
All Might?! Izumi thinks wildly. The sludge villain lets her go slightly to try and attack the hero. He dodges and pauses, looking at them. He’s trying to get a good shot- Izumi thinks. She yanks her head free.
“DOLOR!” She shouts, slamming a hand against the villain. Vivid red energy passes from her hand to the villain, making him drop her. She rolls out of the way as All Might makes a move.
“Energy manipulation,” Nezu said. Shouta turned to him with a raised eyebrow. “Her Quirk, I believe it to be energy manipulation. She can use it to disguise herself or put people to sleep as well as adjust their minds and create blasts.”
“That seems a stretch,” Shouta said. Nezu spread his paws.
“What else could it be? Magic?” the principal asked. Shouta had to sigh. That was true; there was no other explanation.
Meanwhile, people cheered that All Might was on the scene, about to save Izumi. It was amazing!
“TEXAS SMASH!” He shouts. The villain bursts apart. Izumi meanwhile gags, throwing up sludge herself.
“That’s in the top ten grossest things ever,” she grunts before her head comes up in a snap. “ALL MIGHT?!?”
“Ha! Yes!” The hero laughs. He looks around. “Damn it,” he says in English. “How to contain this villain…”
“I have a water bottle in one of my bags,” Izumi says. All Might blinks as the teen reaches for her dropped bags and pulls out a metal bottle.
“Ah! Thank you, miss!” The hero beams at her. He takes the bottle to dump it out before gathering the villain up. Izumi helps, though she might step a little on some pieces, a grin on her face. The hero ignores that.
Not everyone ignores it, snickering at the petty actions of Izumi. They would all do that, too, if it was them.
All Might picks up a notebook, one that looks like the one Izumi pulled out of her hoodie earlier. He opens it and blinks. “This… is yours, young…” he trails off. Izumi blinks.
“Midoriya Izumi, sir,” she says a little shyly. Oh god, this is ALL MIGHT. My favourite hero! The guy that I still watch videos of and who I had a major crush on until I realized he was a freaking dad half the time. Izumi presses her hands to her mouth, not to squeal.
“Why!” Izumi whined as she covered her face while Eri snickered. Yes, she’d had a crush for a while; they didn’t need to bring it up. It took only a few interviews for Izumi to know All Might was a dad in his actions. Those jokes were terrible!
People giggled over the screen, Toshinori chuckling to himself as well. He was flattered by young Midoriya’s former crush, though her losing it was a good thing. He always felt weird knowing teenagers crushed on him, though he would admit he’d had his crushes on older folks around that age, too. He never indulged the crushes and perhaps played up being an ‘old man’ to try and lessen them. Safer all around, and he got to see teenagers cringe. Win-win!
“We now have a name!” Nezu said, typing it up. Chang from the Hero Commission was doubtless also working on it, but he would like to check himself. Midoriya’s registration page would be the best place to start.
Midoriya Izumi. Quirk: Warlock Bond.
Warlock bond? That was a curious name… Nezu frowned at the screen where her Quirk registration was. Perhaps the man she’d met was like a patron from the game Dungeons & Dragons? Creating a bond?
He wondered what sort of pact it was. He hadn’t played the game in a very long time, was too busy, and preferred playing video game versions of RPGs. He could code the AI to be better in those games to give him a challenge. Nezu did remember some pacts were different. Some were restrictive, and some weren’t.
Time would tell what bond she had.
“Well, young Midoriya! This is fantastic analysis!” The hero beams before he pulls a pen out of his pocket. “May I?”
“Yes, please!” Izumi squeals. She coughs then and doubles over to cough more. Sludge falls from her mouth to the ground as she does. A large hand comes to her back to pat her.
“Young Midoriya, allow me to escort you to a nurse station,” the hero says worriedly.
“I’m okay- AH!” Izumi shouts as her right wrist glows. She clutches her arm to herself. She looks down to see the M on her wrist looking red and painful.
“...no,” Izumi said. “NO! He can’t- NO!” she stared at the screen in horror as Eri clutched tighter to her.
“Are you alright?” All Might asks.
“I… yeah, it happens when I use too much energy. That blast was a bit…” Izumi swallows. “Maybe I should get checked out…” she says. All Might nods.
“Very well then!” The man pauses and continues, “I will pick you up if that’s okay.”
“Go ahead, sir,” Izumi says. She lets him pick her up, her face blank.
So All Might… what’s your connection to All for One? She thinks before the screen goes black.
While people freaked out, given they knew All for One had stolen a Quirk, Izumi was horrified.
“NO!” Izumi screamed at the screen. “He can’t- he can’t be connected! He’s All Might! He can’t have a connection to him!” She stared at the screen in despair. How could All Might know All for One? Even if he’d fought him, that shouldn’t have set off the mark. Only someone with a deep connection would do that, such as getting a Quirk from the man.
He couldn’t be that close. Izumi… no. She didn’t want it to be true, but she had a gross feeling that there was a connection. All Might was connected to the man she was sworn to take down. She hated the thought. It filled her stomach with terror, and she wanted to cry, but what other explanation was there for the mark?
 None.
And that terrified her. Because if All Might did get his Quirk from All for One, she had no chance. She would fail her mission like all the other Warlocks. She’d end up like them, punished somehow, like Shinsou Koemi and her inability to feel anything. She was a social worker and the person who’d arranged for Ashan to take the sisters in, but she had no emotions. They were ripped away because she failed her mission, leaving her a husk. Izumi knew the woman chose to abandon her family when it happened, knowing that she would damage her son if she stayed. It wasn’t an emotional choice but a logical one.
The woman just was there now, operating on logical thought and instinct. It was creepy talking to her, and Izumi knew whatever her punishment was, it would fit like Koemi’s. After all, she’d wanted to save her boyfriend from death out of love. She then lost the ability to love him or her son ever again.
(Izumi could only think of one thing that would punish herself. And it was the loss of seeing her mother again. She was scared of what Lord Malivor would do to make that happen if she failed.)
Toshinori cursed upon realizing that Izumi was tied to All for One. It was dangerous, and the idea of a teenager being wrapped up in it scared him. She was so young, not even in UA yet. She wasn’t safe, yet there she was, connected on some level. And she knew he was connected to, though not how.
She had to be terrified of it, scared out of her mind that he could hurt her. He wouldn’t let that happen. He had to find her, had to help her! He was a hero.
 He’d save her.

Notes:
-Mitsuki had her breakdown because she was in love with Inko but lost her. She does love Masaru, and he knows that, but it was a very complicated thing. It may/may not get brought up but: Mitsuki is a transwoman who had dated Inko and they broke up because Mitsuki came out and Inko is very straight. Masaru is a transman, and they love each other deeply but… issues.
-Bakugou is not doing great in therapy. To be fair, his therapist actually does suck and doesn’t try to engage with him at all, but the teen isn’t making it easy by refusing to take it seriously. In this story, he does have some issues, but the therapist is trying to just diagnose him with like borderline personality disorder or even narcissism because he thinks it’s real and wants to be able to say he’s dealt with someone like that.
-Aldera got wrecked by the Bakugou family after they said shit about Izuku. But Bakugou still gets told he’s the best even if this school isn’t as lenient with Quirk use.
-Overhaul is supposed to be creepy as fuck. I also didn’t want him to be gross about pronouns, so I made it instead. He’s just one of those assholes who think if you’re trans, you have to act a certain way.
-Malivor was originally Malleus, but I changed it to match Balor.
-Izumi’s Warlock stuff is more based on Baldur’s Gate 3, with more homebrew tossed in for funsies. For instance, charm person shouldn't remove memories, but here I'm saying she charmed his brain into forgetting.
-Shinsou is… Shinsou. I’m coming at him a bit differently than POTSOD here, though he’s messed up from being told his parents just up and left. It doesn’t help his aunt is very permissive and likes to play the victim.
-All will be revealed later on in the story.
-Pronouns are a little iffy but I may use he/him and the name Izuku for child!Izumi because at the time that was correct for her. She was slowly coming out later when shit went down. As in the notes to: She would prefer Izuku still, but in reality it’s safer not to use the name so she doesn’t.
-I will be doing NaNoWriMo this year with all my fanfics. During this time I may post random things like one shots. We will have to see!
