General Glockious
It’s May the 4th, Star Wars day. General grievous with guns instead of light sabers was a funny concept some friends and I came up with.

genuinely kind of fucked up over takemichi being the only one besides kakucho to give a fuck about south's death
Yeah that's always seemed so sad to me, how no one particularly seems to care aside from Takemichi and Kakucho. I mean I assumed before that this was because no one got close to South so he wasn't considered someone close to them. But then this official art came out and they seem rather close here, spending time with each other. So now I'm just assuming they were in shock/ grieved privately later.

My mom being asked some days ago by me if she wants to come with me watch the KFP4 premiere since after all we saw the whole trilogy together (she never was a fan of it and thinks thay now I'm an adult she has no reason to have to come for me and I can go alone like I often do when something doesn't interest her)
My mom as soon as I add Tai Lung returns (he was her favorite character just like me and missed him)

I'm playing Baulder's Gate 3 for the first time cause I got it for Christmas and just beat the goblins and saved the Teiflings. After doing that, you get into the start of the romance and I realized I have 3 types, cocky and over compensating due to trauma, golden retriever as a way to hide trauma, and black cat with religious and/or family trauma. That is to say I'm attracted to everyone and hate that I can't just form a party wide harem.

Please share all your Jopping thoughts! I am now exceedingly curious.
L;AKSDJF;LASDKJFL;SDAKJF ANON I LOVE YOUUUUU
i dont remember if i kept this in my maximalist kpop post or not but i had wrote a whole section about how the concept of superm as a group is maximalism and everything that they did is probably the purest form of kpop performance spectacle that we've seen in the last several years. kpop has always been about taking random americanisms and extrapolating them into a weird and altogether new conglomorate of cultural hybrid bizarreness and superm ramps that up to 100 (pun intended). the disparate visual western touchstones (cars/motorsports, cowboys, big tech + machines, superheros, military, collegiate gear) all crammed together with choreo that goes extremely hard for no reason, stupid and cringe (complimentary) english lyrics, completely over the top studio set pieces, and all done by a group that's literally assembled from defining groups of the last three generations, from the company that pioneered the industry? how can it be anything except the pinnacle of modern kpop? people can make the arguments all they want that sm was attempting to pander to the west in the vein of bts, but what those people miss is that superm was never totally westernized in the way that bts has been in their recent endeavours. superm maintains a sense of koreanness throughout not only their music (promoting i can't stand the rain on the ellen show along with jopping, none of their title songs being fully in english) but also visually with tiger inside, which has become their most popular song second to jopping. sm was very careful not to sacrifice the threads of what makes kpop korean with superm, and that's what makes everything about what they were doing work.

taking a break to atla post i really do believe the way azulas arc / story ended was appropriate. maybe not on the script level (aaron wrote some pretty misogynistic stuff) but azula in the final episodes was a perfect thematic conclusion of both her and zukos stories. anytime anyone says she was Supposed to be redeemed or the writers pussied out of it or whatever i kind of think they dont rlly know what the Point of her character was .
