Or, a canon-divergent take of Lost Days and Countdown to Final Crisis, where Under the Red Hood doesn’t happen.

i participated in this year's @batbigbang and drew for faia's fic, who was a very wonderful person to work with, and who wrote a fic that is so up my alley, i had trouble choosing what to draw! :') it's super great, and it features multiverse shenanigans, which is why i got to draw one jason judging another jason's red hood shtick 😂

It's here! After all of the hard work this year from our authors, artists, and their supporters, we're ready to start sharing these works very soon!

Posting begins Saturday, September 23!

The 2023 Bat Big Bang will include fourteen illustrated 50k+ fics in total, one fic revealed daily at 3PM EST here and on Ao3, for two weeks of novel-length fics. We can't thank our participants enough for their time, love, hard work, and commitment that they invested into this project - the level of care that went into each project is palpable and has absolutely blown us away.

So happy I can finally share these pieces from @justanotherblonde-writer's amazing fic Hunger!!

In the first piece I did I got to make a fake comic cover which was a blast and the author was so supportive and helpful through the whole process of both pieces.

This cover is not a direct scene from the story but is a different interpretation of a scene.

I had to resist adding items to the counters an weathering to the cupboard doors so much! I'm so happy with this drawing though!! The pose is more exaggerated in this than the actual scene to communicate what's happening better but I did try to keep this pretty true to the writing

Both of these pieces were made for the @batbigbang event! I am so happy I got to participate!

And you ,” she whips around to point threateningly at the ringleader of the gaggle of girls in front of them, “one more sample each, and then you better buy something, so help me.” Eddie’s about to make a joke about Buckley getting in a fight with an infant when the door to the back room opens, and he loses all ability to speak. Steve Harrington. Steve Harrington in a dorky little sailor outfit. Steve Harrington in a dorky little sailor outfit. Complete with tight shorts and a jaunty hat. Fuck me. While Eddie’s gay little squirrel brain is having a complete meltdown, Gareth, Jeff, and Grant—who suffer no similar affliction—burst into barely contained laughter at the former King of Hawkins High’s expense. He’s distantly aware of Robin smirking at their response while she continues to deal with the gremlins in front of her. “Alright, alright, yuk it up,” Harrington says, flushing an adorable shade of pink and rolling his eyes. “What do you guys want?” Is he wearing fucking lip gloss?

Or was it Restaurant at the End of the Universe? Whatever, not important. Eddie Munson died on March 27th, 1986. Except…he didn’t. He couldn’t have. Because Eddie Munson is currently arguing with himself in his fucking head about sci-fi quotes, which doesn’t feel especially like something that a dead person would have the capacity to do. The bats had killed him. There had been pain, and the sick sensation of tearing flesh. He’d had to swallow past a mouthful of his own blood to tell Henderson he loved him. Surely those were symptoms of imminent death. And yet. On April 1st, 1986, Eddie Munson opens his eyes in a dim hospital room. There’s a gasp from his left, and he tries to turn his head towards the source. “Easy there, kid. They’ve got you trussed up pretty good.” Eddie doesn’t need to see him. He’d know that voice anywhere, in any universe, hell dimension or otherwise. “Uncle Wayne?” A story about the families we find and the love that finds us.
