the way you write geto……… like ppl tend to woobify him on this site especially in fic/posts that discuss how things would be if he didnt deflect. he still wouldnt be normal like i just dont see it!! he literally became a cult leader lmao he didnt just become a manipulative gaslighter when he cracked there was some of that in there right from the beginning imo. and he’s literally condescending in canon too (pre mental breakdown). like he’s literally best friends with gojo there is no fucking way a normal person would tolerate him the way he is (im sorry to all gojowives). him and gojo are cunts together but in different ways. gojo in more of a traditional annoying egocentric way and geto in the condescending kind of way where he is nice about it and it’s still annoying but if you say anything he’ll just go on about how you made it all up and he never said anything like that but yk he did. and they enable each other in their seperate genres of annoying. anyways you get it like you get him!!!

i honestly do chalk a lot of it up to stsg being annoying teenage boys (they're so unbearable) but at the same time there is not a single normal jujutsu sorcerer. every single jujutsu sorcerer has something wrong with them in the head. i definitely don't think geto is normal though. i think it takes something in a person to go from living a relatively normal mundane life without knowledge of life threatening supernatural creatures and jump headfirst into it. all that being said i do have quite a lot of thoughts on geto and his characterization had he not defected including how he'd handle the cognitive dissonance of continuing jujutsu sorcerery despite his growing aversion for non sorcerers so im happy you can see that <3 thanks for reading!

no, you cannot afford to take that dance class, neither can i. by the way - i'm a teacher. i'm absolutely not saying "educators shouldn't be paid fairly." i'm saying that when i taught classes, renting a studio went from 20 bucks an hour to 180 in the span of 6 months. no significant changes to the studio were made, except they now list the place as updated and friendly. the heat still doesn't work in the building. i have literally never seen the landlord who ignores my emails. recently they've been renting it out at night as an "unusual nightclub; a once-in-a-lifetime close-knit party." they spent some of those 180 dollars on LEDs and called it renovating. the high heels they invite in have been ruining the marley.

i saw a bulletin for a local dogwalking group and, nervous about making a good first impression, showed up early. the first guy there grimaced at me. "sorry," he said. "there's a 30-dollar buy-in fee." i thought he was joking. wait. for what? the group doesn't offer anything except friendship and people with whom to walk around the city.

he didn't know the answer. just shrugged at me. "you know," he said. "these days, everything costs money."

Listen. There is a list of actual plant fibers that are directly made into fabric: cotton, linen, ramie, some hemp. I’m sure I’m missing a couple.

But if you’re wondering “huh how did they turn that plant material into fabric,” 99% of the time? It’s RAYON.

All rayon is made by putting plant material in chemical soup, dissolving out everything but the cellulose, and turning the cellulose into filaments/fibers.

The source of the cellulose has zero effect on the eventual fabric.

Rayon made from bamboo or eucalyptus or seaweed is not any better than rayon from any other sources.

Seeing comments on Facebook like “Buck was always a ladies man” or “he’s never shown any interest in guys before” is why this story arc is so important.

Bisexual people exist and so often get dismissed or told to pick a side or that they just can’t commit to being gay or some other shit.

Just because you show a preference to one gender doesn’t mean you can’t be attracted to another.

And you don’t have to have your sexuality figured out at a certain age! It’s fluid! It changes! You could not discover something about yourself until you are away from toxic noise and finally are in a place where you feel safe.

I’m just .. I’m so thankful for Oliver and Tim and how they’re wanting to tell this story.
