❥︎ Syzoth has seen his fair share of performers, after all he did work in a wandering company for a while and Outworld's culture greatly revolves around dancing, which is considered a sacred art.

❥︎ He shouldn't be impressed, but you? Oh Lord, you take his breath away. You move so gracefully yet easily, as though floating, your every gesture has his mesmerized gaze glued to you in awe. He has never seen anything quite so beautiful.

❥︎ Since your body is your instrument, Syzoth makes sure you take good care of it: he's there to bandage your feet, wiping away the blood staining the inside of your pointee shoes, kissing your legs reverently as he massages your sore muscles with a warm damp cloth.

❥︎ If you were to ever want to perform in Outworld, you are right to believe Syzoth would use his position as emissary to his advantage. He'll talk to Mileena, and in no time you'll find yourself performing for the Empress and her court, Syzoth's adoring gaze never leaving you.

❥︎ Much similarly to Syzoth, Johnny is accustomed to dancer. He basically lives in Hollywood, he himself studied under many choreographers during his career, not to mention he's also a very good dancer.

❥︎ Jesus... You put him to shame. Your movements are always so flawless, so perfectly timed. He has a hard time understanding your level of expertise, he cannot even fathom how many years it took you.

❥︎ You bet Johnny will want to turn your life into a movie. He wants to celebrate you and your art, his girlfriend is such a marvelous dancer he thinks everyone should see her! Just be warned, it could turn out to be 4 hours long because he puts too much detail in it.

❥︎ If you feel too embarrassed or shy about him making a movie about you, Johnny will back off but that doesn't mean to whole world won't know how good you are. The sole fact that Johnny attends to your every performance makes you gain so much popularity already, not to mention the sheer amount of posts about you on all his socials. You'll basically become just as famous as him!

❥︎ The most of Kenshi's life has been spent in the cruel, gruesome environment that is the Yakuza. As such, he never had many chances to enjoy beautiful things such as dance. Things so soft, so gentle, clashed immensely with his environment, so he didn't dwell on them.

❥︎ And that was his mentality when he met you. You appeared soft and delicate on stage, enchanting everyone with your grace. You almost reminded him of a butterfly, so beautiful yet short-lived in such a cruel world.

❥︎ But then you'd get off and backstage, and that's when he'd see the truth: the sweat on your face, your laboured breathing, your reddened cheeks. And when you take off your shoes the blood staining your pantyhose, the swelling in your feet... He was wrong to think you were delicate. You're anything but: you're powerful, determined and fiercely passionate, and he won't make the mistake of judging you again.

❥︎ Even after he loses his sight Kenshi tries to attend your every performance, sitting in the first row so that you know he's there. He may not see you dance anymore but the way you move is burned in his mind. How could he ever forget something so beautiful?

❥︎ Raiden is actually the most aquatinted of everyone with ballet dancing: his sister used to take lessons before switching to martial arts and he was the designated pick up. Of course she wasn't anywhere close to your level, being a child and all, but he picked up a thing or two from her rambling about her classes.

❥︎ Knowing the importance of a healthy physique in your discipline Raiden makes sure to cook light yet nutritious meals for you to eat in between classes: shrimp-stuffed green peppers, rainbow stir fry and jiaozi are his go to choices. He also makes sure you always have a full water bottle with you.

❥︎ What he admires the most is your flexibility. Raiden has become fairly flexible himself since he started practicing tantric yoga in the Shaolin temple, but he is nowhere near your level. The way you manage to look so graceful as your limbs twist and bend like a swan's neck is beyond impressive for him.

❥︎ He brings flowers to your every performance, to the point your dressing room starts to look like a flower shop. He mainly gets them from a merchant in Fengjian, so expect the whole town to know about you within two weeks. Soon enough, half of it is attending: why wouldn't they support their precious Raiden's girlfriend?

❥︎ 𝑲𝑼𝑵𝑮 𝑳𝑨𝑶

❥︎ Similarly to Raiden, he also learned a couple things about ballet through his friend's sister. Kung Lao has never been particularly interested in it, mainly because his experience was that of a little girl's hobby. When he meets you that opinion quickly changes: the choreographies you can perform blow his mind completely. However, there are some things he can't stand.

❥︎ First off, your instructor. He despised them for the gruelling training they put you through, the way they force your body to bend unnaturally like they want to break every bone in your body. He starts attending your every class only to glare at them, making sure they start treating you more gently.

❥︎ Second off, the constant insecurity over your body. Kung Lao thinks you're beautiful and he can't bear the fact that you don't think the same. To remedy this, he'll do everything in his power to make you feel the prettiest possible: he'll style your hair, run you a hot bath, massage every part of your best that hurts. He won't let you put yourself down, not a chance in hell. He loves you for a reason, and he'll prove it to you.

❥︎ Kung Lao not only attends your performances, he also attends rehearsals. He may never admit it out loud but he enjoys seeing the hard work you put in it: it demonstrates that talent is not only something you're born with, it's something that needs to be cultivated and nourished. He brings you treats and water as well, and it will take some coaxing but he'll eventually cave if you ask him to join you in your stretching exercises.

Building on the last posting it would bother Snow to see formal academy!reader fall for Sejanus and the two get into a relationship. Especially if this is after Snow tries(key word tries) to implement Tigris' suggestions about him being nicer to you. Like in Coriolanus' werid and convulsed mind and lack of morals. He thinks because he puts forth the effort to "change" then reader should be willing to submit or accept his advances. Not him realizing that just because you make forth the effort to change doesn't mean that person is obligated to accept you or your requests. Not to mention he still got that capital pride that makes him think that Reader should be more than happy to enter into a relationship with him. He's a Snow after all... even though they're broke and the only currency he has is the family name and his charisma. So it isn't money that's makes you better than the districts but the name/prestige that comes with the money. Not to mention the value of the name itself and not just monetary.

Like just because the Pliths are rich most of the Capitol including Coriolanus still sees them as district. I think because of this mindset it challenges/bothers Snow when reader isn't interested in him beyond the surface. And like you said before she sees something in him and stays away. It's like Coriolanus doesn't understand that there's more to a person than status or wealth. Or that genuine relationships and/or emotion can occur without any underlying agendas

Yeah, after some thinking, Coriolanus would decide to take Tigris' advice and be nicer to you. He only approaches you when you don't seem busy, he'll offer to hold your books or bag to class, he asks about how you are, etc, but you feel like you've already learned what he's all about so this gesture, while somewhat genuine, only comes across as fake, like he's trying to get something (which he is).

And when he learns you and Sej had gone on a date and then sees the two of you holding hands, he's literally foaming at the mouth over it.

Yes, I agree, he's like thinking about how he tried to change his approach and you still ignored all of his advances and to him, that's just not fair. He thinks he deserves more than that. Coriolanus would resort back to his more hateful way of thinking so fast because he's impatient and you just won't let up. He can't crack you and it drives him completely insane.

And yes! He also tells himself that you'd be unhappy with Sejanus, that only if you saw he was trying to be nicer and better, you'd realize he's the right one for you to marry. Then he'd snap out of these thoughts by reminding himself that you're district. It's like a constant battle in his head; Coryo is thinking, 'I'm so in love with her,' then 'she's district, I hate her being here.'

Plus he'd be trying to understand why you ignore him. Part of him is aware of your intelligence, but part of him think so poorly of you, he's like she can't be smart enough to see through me. But you do.

And I agree, I've mentioned this before, but he would always be thinking you're just interested in Sejanus cause of his money and family and for that sole reason, he doesn't understand why you wouldn't be interested in him. Despite his lack of money, the Snow name is still powerful and isn't that enough to lure you in his direction? And like you said, he just can't comprehend that there could be just genuine feelings and desire in the capitol beyond wealth and status.

Bruce

Bruce actually wouldn't mind you being a bartender, and he likes the independence that your job gives you rather than just hanging around the manor all day doing nothing. He does worry about the risks, but he can't complain too much as it's similar within all customer service jobs.

When Bruce first hears about how your boss treats you he is very much enraged, although he will try to keep his anger at bay as he knows that some bosses are like that to all employees. He'll try to convince you to get a different job as soon as you can to have a nicer working environment but he also knows that it can't always be that easy.

Bruce would be shocked if he saw you have an argument with your boss, since it was most likely in front of customers you were serving, and he'd try his best to de-escalate the situation if he can. His hopes would be that he could minimise the argument and save your job from being on the line before the possibility of anyone getting hurt emotionally and physically from his own doing.

If things get physical between you and your boss (such as him hurting you) then he would immediately intervenes he isn't going to tolerate any sort of violence, especially when it's directed towards you. Bruce might let his public persona slip momentarily but he knows that he shouldn't let this affect his reputation so he'll leave the justice he wants to give towards your boss for later.

After the incident Bruce would consistently check up on you and try to prevent you from going back to work for a while, or at least to that workplace. He'd immediately help you look for another job if you'd like to keep working, and he's well aware that his connections could absolutely ruin the business life of your boss which is exactly what he does (as it is well deserved).

Damian

Damian wouldn't have a problem with you being a bartender generally, but he would constantly remind you of the dangers that came with being one. He's constantly reaffirming the risks so that he knows you're well aware of them and will go out of his way to feel reassured that you can defend yourself if anyone drunk tries to do something towards you.

He would be quite angry and outspoken about your boss if you ever complain about him to Damian, and would probably be ready to deal with your boss in that very moment if you weren't there to stop him. He believes that people as rude as your boss should be put in their place and most definitely shouldn't have power over employees.

When you have an argument with your boss and Damian is there to see it he will step in to finish the argument itself, and tries to do this before it escalates too far. He's threatening and knows what to do to make your boss back off, which is the exact outcome he wants as he doesn't want to make you feel bad about Damian resorting to actual violence due to your bosses rudeness.

If your boss does resort to physical violence then there will be absolutely nothing to hold Damian back, not even you. He won't tolerate this kind of behaviour from anyone towards you, especially not someone who is supposed to be your superior in the workplace. So expect Damian to cause some serious consequences for your boss and prevent him from lifting his hands towards anyone else again.

In the long term your boss would probably have some mental and physical trauma one Damian was finished with them, and the business would also close down due to the reputation the bar gained from the bosses behaviour towards staff. He'd also help you look for another job if you wanted one, keeping in mind all the benefits and best pay he would look for just so you could have the best conditions, and he would check in on your boss every so often just to make sure they were "behaving".

Dick

Dick would prefer you to have a job that didn't surround bars or alcohol, but he really has no basis for this preference as he's a vigilante and he's a cop during the day. This doesn't stop him from worrying about you though, as he often does too much. But with plenty of reassurance he'll be fine with your job and will often check in during busy hours just to make sure the place wasn't getting too rowdy or there wasn't any crime in the area while you're on your way home.

If you complain to Dick about your bosses behaviour before the argument then he'd suggest a way for you to make an official complaint about it, or at least get the situation solved in some way. He'd even go out of his way to go in wearing his uniform just to give your boss a warning about his behaviour if you felt comfortable with him doing that for you.

When he sees the two of you having an argument he immediately spring into action and tries to make sure the boss is stopped from taking the argument any further before getting to the bottom of what caused the argument. He'd reprimand your boss in some way and would make sure word spread about your bosses behaviour as to ruin his reputation and to stop future business successes.

If your boss did become physical with you then Dick wouldn't wait around to try and calmly negotiate the two of you out of an argument, he'd go straight into restraining your boss and getting him away from you. If it's during the night he's make sure your boss was absolutely terrified as a repercussion for his actions or if this was during his work hours then he'd have your boss arrested and would make sure he didn't have the best conditions to sit through while in custody, such as placing him with the "bad cops".

After this has all happened Dick would spend a lot of time in areas your boss frequented just to remind him about his presence and that he's always watching your bosses behaviour. Your boss would probably be charged with battery if he was physical and would be left scared of ever hurting you again, which came with quite a big apology to you and even some sort of work bonus.

💜• Dude, you better know what you're getting into with this crazy boy, because once your eyes meet and he likes what he sees, it's pretty much impossible to get him away from you 😵 which isn't always such a bad thing, to be fair. After all, you're no victim or weak player he feels like toying with and testing out. You're... different.

💜• The most likely way you both met was in the Jack of Hearts game, where he allies himself with the Jack, and then assesses the rest of the group silently... before his greyish eyes land on you.

💜• He's pretty backwards with the way he approaches people, like he did with Jack, pointing out everything ugly before praising it and hanging around them. So he'll approach you alone saying something like "I bet that under that unusually pretty face is a mind that knows how to play better games than any you'll find in the borderlands. Let's be friends."

💜• He's basically your shadow for the entire game, sat casually behind you, watching listening while you talk to someone, or hovering in the doorways of rooms you go into. Once Banda's decided that you're interesting and you're his match (which is pretty quickly 😅) it's almost impossible to get rid of him. On the one side, that's a good thing, because he is unspokenly protective, and knows all the right, disturbing ways to make someone back off if they're getting in your face or making you uncomfortable. All you've got to do is give him a thankful look and he'll return it with that dark smirk of his, and that's that.

💜• His protectiveness kind of links back to his madly possessive nature, though. Banda's certain that there's more to you than meets the eye, and wants to know every little detail until he knows you better than you know yourself. I wouldn't say he'd manipulate you and blackmail you with your secrets in the future, but it's more that level of being connected through knowing each other's thoughts and feelings. He's not against manipulating those around you to leave you alone, however, so a lot of situations leave you mildly confused when it's suddenly just you and him alone together in the building, until you catch on.

💜• He'll keep you safe in games as long as you stick by him and don't try to leave him. I mean, Banda's a pretty psychopathic guy, a killer and all, but he does have a side to him that is a little softer and completely reserved for the right person (you 😉). I wouldn't say he's massively into boastful, affectionate PDA, but he's pretty shameless at the same time. He has no problems with whispering in your ear while trapping his arms around your middle from behind when some other people are glancing uneasily at him, or hugging you when you're scared.

💜• Sometimes it's to show someone else that he's better than him, or him being possessive with you. If he thinks it'll get to someone that shows an interest in you, he'll give you a hug or a smooch or something and look them dead in the eye right after with that dark stare of his. Somehow, though, it always softens when he turns his attention back to you.

💜• He's also pretty good at detecting if you're sad or worried or scared. Banda can read your expressions scarily easily, so with just one hard look, he'll be pulling you to the side and pressing himself close to you so he can breathe "why are you so scared, baby? I've got you, haven't I?" That's kind of the best he gets at comfort 😂 asides from doing anything you ask him for, like giving you a hug and some kisses until you're back to your blushing self and he's smiling in satisfaction from doing his job right.

💜• And he loves making you flustered, because he kind of gets off on the power he has over you and how you're all his (possessive aaaaghhfksk-) so don't be too caught off guard if he randomly makes out with you just to see you turn red and chuckle at it 🙃

💜• Behind closed doors, and after games, it's safe to say that he's an amazing cuddler, the type that lets their mind wander and traces faint patterns on your skin, or plays with loose strands of your hair while he stares into space thinking about... well, not very nice things, let's be real 💀

💜• Bit by bit, he'll tell you things about himself, but he's a bit apprehensive about your reaction to the bad stuff he's done (and carries on doing). So if you're reluctantly acceptant to who he is and just kind of let him do his thing, it puts his mind at rest, and Banda lets himself open up more. He just needs some time to do it, since I'm making a safe bet that he's never really been in a proper, romantic relationship before.

💜• But with time, you'll get to the point of trust where he'll do anything you ask him to, no matter how odd it sounds, right on the spot. He's pretty good at knowing when he's being set up anyway, and you'd never try that, he's certain.

💜• He's not the sanest and most stable person you could let yourself love, but at the end of the day, when he falls, he falls hard, and there's no escape from him 😂 you're his 'little princess' or 'fallen angel' for the rest of your days... especially when he accepts permanent residence in the Borderlands and aspires to make the both of you gamemasters and rulers of the place. A true princess then, right? 😍

Xiao drabbles as I suffer from insomnia.

i really love Xiao, like. It's so much sometimes, I wanna write him but sometimes I start choking up on my words and everything becomes 10x more difficult, I'd possibly do everything I could to protect him. Like everyone has that one character they love more than love itself and for me that's Xiao.

Comfort drabble, SFW, romantic elements, established relationship. A bit of angst. Mention of death.

Xiao is sensitive, like in battle he doesn't think about being touched as much, but when it's you. Gently tracing his cheek with your thumb, your lips on his. The soft tug of your hand on his lithe waist, oh how his limbs turn to jelly and it takes everything in his power not to melt in your touch.

Xiao sometimes will go missing for days and it has always worried you, but you know it's okay, he's okay. You feel it on the breeze, the occasional butterfly leaf on your nightstand or sometimes a flower picked freshly from a field, it reminds you that he's alive.

When he comes back late, your reading in your bed, the overthinking had gotten too much for you and you decided sleeping wasn't an option anymore. He teleported in your room, nearly making you scream.

"Sorry.." he was the first to speak, you immediately could tell something was wrong... you sat up, climbing out of bed and opening your arms before him.

He didn't say much, just furrowed his eyebrows and closed his mournful eyes and basically melted in your arms. He knows he can't bring back his family, friends, things can't be the same as they once were. But, heavens knows he would do anything to bring them back.

"It'll be okay," you mumble against his ear, rubbing his back gently. He doesn't cry. You know of his karmic debt, how the memories of his family slain before his very eyes, how much torture and pain he has delt with.

"..."

"Xiao," you whisper against his head, hugging him close.

"hm."

"You've done so much for Liyue, my hero," you run your hands through his hair, he tenses. "Do you want to lay down for a little bit? I know you don't need to sleep, but your muscles are so tense.." he reluctantly agrees and lays with his head on your chest as you softly massage his shoulders.

Xiao will hold your hand as you sleep, watching your sleeping frame. Sometimes he'll reach over and brush your hair to the side and admire from his side of the bed. Other times he can't help but press a soft kiss on the back of your hand and then get embarrassed about it a few moments later.

His hearing is insane, he can hear anything and everything, like. Dude, you can't sneak up on him, he hears your steps, recognizes them immediately. You tried surprising him with a hug but it immediately backfired by him turning around mid lunge and he just gave you the most confused look of your entire life.

Sometimes though, you're lucky. He'd get lost in thought, his mind filled with memories of his family, wars he's been in, Lantern rite, etc. You wrapped your arms around his hips, your head on his shoulders, it snapped him back to reality in a instant.

"what were you thinking about?" You asked him.

"...memories," you didn't pry any further, only hugging him slightly tighter, he didn't mind it at all. He closed his eyes as his relaxes in your hold, his hand intertwined with yours.

"I asked them for Almond tofu for you,"

He rolls his eyes, "you didn't have to do that,".

"hm, but you've done so much," you blow into his ear which makes him shiver pleasantly. "Let me treat you to something lovely, yeah?"

He nods slowly.

He stares at the moon, longingly. His tired eyes blink slowly as his lip quivers. He hates getting to this point, he knows emotions are "human", as you like to call it. But it pains him, drains him of energy Everytime he does cry.

His heart feels as if it's shattering, the flashbacks of his brothers and sisters flood his mind, the domestic moments, pulling pranks, laughing with each other. Daydreaming of the future, oh, how he wishes he could've prevented their demises.

"I'll see you all within the stars once I have done my oath, my brothers and sisters..." he'll whisper to himself, clutching his polearm as a shooting star flies past.

He doesn't indulge himself in philosophies and legends of that humans, but he lets himself make a wish. He wishes, humans and adepti— won't suffer with the unbearable sins that he has to carry until his final breath. That night he teleports to the Inn, the warm, lively atmosphere long since died once the sun had set. It was quiet, you and the others were asleep in your respective rooms.

He appears in your room, watching you engulf yourself further into the soft blanket on the bed. You were having pleasant dreams, it calmed his heart and mind. He brushes your hair to the side, tucking it behind your ear. Pressing a soft kiss to your head, he debates joining beside you, just to lay there. There was no reason to sleep, but his muscles ached and he was afraid you would have a nightmare if he got too close.

She'd absolutely want to know everything about you and conduct some experiments on your abilities, if you agree ofcourse. You give her the opportunity to learn more about a world that is still so vague and unexplainable even to her and she's most grateful for that.

She'd love to see you use your powers in her simulated universe and often gives you her odd backhanded compliments, that she however actually means well. Don't be surprised, if you find plenty of notes and files on you either. It's all in the name of sience ofcourse.

She's not afraid to voice her distate of Elio and will make sure to take up all of your time to keep you away from him. She doesn't want you to get hurt and doesn't trust him with you at all. Arguing with her on this is also useless, as she loves you way too much to listen.

She's already familiar with the concept of your abilities and therefore doesn't make all too much of a fuss about it. Though she can't hide her excitement, whenever she sees how powerful you are. It's something she is proud of, when it comes to having you as a s/o, and she isn't shy to compliment you for your abilities either to the point of flustering you.

She likes fighting by your side, mainly because it makes her stronger and makes her feel much more safer. She feels unstoppable and is near addicted to your power. She'll teasingly call you her protect you and keep you close to her at all times.

She ofcourse doesn't mind your friendship with Elio and generally even uses it to her own advantage for whenever she wants to spend more off days with you.

Jing Yuan was a little concerned about the source of your abilities at first, but eventually began to accept that they were a part of you. He trusts you and knows you won't ever use them for anything evil or bad, which calms his worries however.

He likes to see your abilities in battle and often proudly smirks to himself, knowing that someone as powerful as you is his dear s/o. He loves to secretly therefore show you off to others, just to remind them who you belong to. He'll also like listening to you tell him more about your abilities, which makes him mentally wonder how to use it best in any upcoming battles.

He absolutely does not approve of your friendship with Elio and will try calmly telling you so. He doesn't want to control who you're friends with, but this is an exception to him. He doesn't want you to get hurt or used, so he'll slowly try you to get you to distance yourself from Elio for your own safety.

》Yanqing

Yanqing doesn't question your abilities much and just happily accepts them as a part of you. He enjoys watching you fight and use your abilities, mainly because he finds them just that fascinating. He also always eagerly listens to you, whenever you tell him about your powers.

Yanqing will ask you to train with him often, as he sees you as a worthy and perfect opponent. You don't have the heart to tell him, that you hold back alot of your powers to not hurt him in the process, but he thankfully never notices either. He's just happy to spend time with you.

He doesn't know much about Elio, but after asking his Master about him, he decides that he's not a suitable friend for you. Yanqing would never force you to do anything, but he still voices his worries and fear about your friendship. The last things he wants, is to lose you, after all.

Twin spirits... That was the conclusion the raven haired had came to after listening to Minjun's story about his past and the unfortunate love story he'd gone through. It was interesting how two seemingly completely different people, with completely different backgrounds, could share soo much in common, from a complicated family background characterized by messy games of power and the iron fist of parental authority, to the tragedy of losing their first loves in an unfortunate turn of events that would make said people haunt them to this day (even if the circumstances were different for each one of them, as well as the nature of the "haunting").

When Minjun told him that he couldn't let go of Joowan because he was his very first ever love, the information kind of struck a sensitive chord buried deep within Xuan's heart and soul. He could relate in a way with the lawyer's pain and struggles with moving on, because he too was haunted by a similar ghost: while he didn't lie about Cheng being some sort of 'ex', the man wasn't Xuan's only friend he'd ever gotten involved with in a seemingly romantical way.

The two had another friend with whom they both were very close, a boy named Xia, and while Xuan didn't love Cheng in a romantic manner, he did bear this kind of feelings for this boy; feelings he was too young back then to be able to fully understand what they were or what they meant, but which made Xia be the closest thing to an actual crush Xuan had ever experienced. Unfortunately, Xuan lost Xia when they were still kids, the young man dying at the ripe age of 13 and leaving the at the time 12 year old Xuan with a grueling sense of survivor's guilt. And to this day, the green eyed man blamed himself for Xia's death even if it wasn't his direct doing, living under the impression that anyone he'd grow to love ever again would end up suffering a similar fate, which made Xuan swear that he'll never love again.

Yet, cut to the present, and the time spent in the company of this stunning and clever lawyer made Xuan feel a kind of tingle he hadn't felt in literal years, something he never thought would be possible ever again. That strong feeling of compassion and empathy he felt for Minjun, paired with his respect for this handsome man's strong will and determination, had made Xuan develop a keen liking for his new business associate. In other words, he was starting to develop a new crush. But was he ready to accept this kind of feelings in his life? Was Xuan ready to allow himself to love again and welcome this still unknown feeling to nestle into his stone cold heart?

Before he realized it, Xuan had already started to slowly fantasize about him and his lawyer, and that did not include the business framework in the slightest! He couldn't take his mind off of Minjun's charming smile, his charismatic voice and the way his pretty lips looked soo kissable! It was strange feeling like this for someone so suddenly after he hadn't ever caught any semblance of such cravings for anyone else in literal years, not even for Cheng, with whom he had an intimate relationship after all...

Maybe it was the fact that Minjun kind of reminded him of Xia, in a way? It was true, he had black hair and brown eyes like his long departed friend, but so did many other people he'd interacted with in the past and he hadn't developed any displays of lust like this for them. Or maybe it was Minjun's charisma and very kind and selfless nature that reminded him of the young man? Xuan didn't know, but it frustrated him nevertheless. He wanted something from Minjun, that he could tell, but what exactly that something was, heck if even he knew!

Interesting enough was that the lawyer seemed to be interested in him too, or that's what Xuan thought from watching him closely during their conversations. It was bad! This only served to fuel those weird feelings and desires he was having even further! Should he even try to initiate something...?

Xuan shook his head in frustration, sighing and leant back into the chair, staring at the ceiling. Was it even worth it? What if he tries to initiate something romantic with him and Minjun rejects him? Not only would he end up hurt (especially his pride and ego), but that would also risk ruining their business relationship as well...

The raven haired heaved a deep sigh, wondering why things had to be soo complicated? And even if let's say, Minjun were to actually return these feelings of attraction, there was still the issue of his stalker ex boyfriend... Xuan furrowed his eyebrows remembering about what Minjun had told him: Joowan was a murderer and if he'd deem Xuan as competition, he might attempt 'eliminating' him the best way murderers know...

But how can I make me not want you now? Can I make me not go to your house?

But when was he ever afraid of death to begin with? Xuan let out a self-ironic snort. The idea sounded soo stupid in comparison to his lifestyle: he was dealing with the threat of death on a daily, such was the life of a powerful mob leader such as himself. So what was one more assassination threat on top of the already long list looming over his head? Xuan wasn't a scarredy cat. He'd never fret in the face of danger and that wasn't something that would change now. If he wanted Minjun, he could've as well gone for it! Xuan wasn't going to let anyone get in his way and if worse came to worse, he was sure that at least he could rid the lawyer of this annoying pain in the ass.

That thought in mind, Xuan smirked to himself a sinister smile. Yeah, he wasn't going to back down and give up that easily! When he wanted something, he was the type of man that wouldn't refrain from doing almost anything to get that something and if that bastard was even going to think to stand between him and Minjun, Xuan was going to show Joowan what it meant challenging the Green Eyed Death himself.

So yeah, he was going to actually go to Minjun house tonight and finally do what he's been craving to do for quite a while now. Once that decision set, there wasn't turning Xuan back from it and he was going to make sure that nothing, and really nothing, would stand between him and his goal! Those were the very thoughts traversing Xuan's mind as he stared at the shiny revolver glistening in the dim light of the study, before placing it in its holster, concealed nicely underneath his shirt and pants at his back.

Indeed, they were twin spirits attracting one another and for that reason they should have been together... Xuan wan't one to give up without a fight and even if this would've ended up hurting him in any shape or form, he was more than willing to take that pain. After all, wasn't he the type who liked a little bit of pain anyways?

Cheeky grin played at the corners of his lips and his emerald eyes shined with the glow of a hungry predator ready to go after its pray, as the raven haired exited the office. Let the hunt of the night begin!

What would Gyutaro think of Denji if they ever met?

Denji reminds me so much of Gyutaro that I just couldn't help but picture him in the chainsaw man world. I even plan on one day doing a role-playing blog on here about it.

Gyutaro & Denji ₊˚✧

Gyutaro doesn't understand Denji. How could someone be so positive all the time even though they have a terrible life? It makes no sense to him.

He would be a little easier on Denji than he would with most people though because Denji had a difficult life, similar to Gyutaro's.

Gyutaro wouldn't be envious of him like he is with everyone else. Maybe he'd be envious of Denji's looks, but his suffering is enough that Gyutaro can look past it.

Denji would really like Gyutaro! He'll be kind to him even though Gyutaro is rude at first. But thanks to Denji's persistence they would become friends quickly.

It's clear to Gyutaro that Denji doesn't have any ulterior motives when trying to befriend him. Denji is pretty straight forward and easy to read, so Gyutaro would be able to tell what his intentions are.

Denji would be a really good influence on Gyutaro. He'd be able to show Gyutaro how to be less violent and cruel towards others. Just because you have a bad life doesn't mean that you have to take it out on everyone else.

Seeing how Denji can be happy regardless of the situation he's in will make Gyutaro think twice about his perspective on life. He wants to be happy like Denji too. So he will ease up a bit and learn to be more like him.

And Gyutaro would teach Denji how to be more diligent and street smart. He'll show him how to be less gullible and not so much of a push over.

Gyutaro feels bad for Denji. He has a good heart and wears it on his sleeve. Always falling in love with the first person to show him affection, only for that person to use him for their own gain.

Gyutaro will do everything in his power to teach Denji not to fall for people so easily. He doesn't like seeing him being used. Hell, if it gets bad enough Gyutaro wouldn't hesitate to step in and defend his friend.

And same goes for Denji. If he sees someone bullying Gyutaro he will kick them in the balls. Even if they don't have balls he will still kick them in the crotch.

They always surprise each other with the things they say because their personalities are so different.

Gyutaro doesn't open up very often so most of the time he just listens to Denji talk. And he doesn't mind this, he enjoys listening to him talk about his day or whatever new thing he is aspiring towards. That is until Denji inevitably says something out of pocket and Gyutaro gives him the side eye.

The guy is weird. But it just makes Gyutaro like him even more. He can't help but chuckle every time Denji says something silly.

The conversation will start with Gyutaro brooding and not saying much. But by the end of the conversation Denji will have him laughing and forgetting about the terrible day he had.

But despite their differences, Gyutaro and Denji would always have each other's backs no matter what. Treating each other like human beings, which is something neither of them have really had before. It brings them together and makes them inseparable.

Ep3 We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium

-The Minotaur horn being kept in the attic instead of Percy keeping it with him. At first, I didn't like this change (I didn't really have a reason for not liking it). But now that I've thought about it, I really like it. I think it shows how uncomfortable Percy is with his new situation and seemingly new powers (so uncomfortable that he keeps the reminder of his mom's disappearance somewhere he'll never see it). But the horn being kept in the attic also shows how little agency he has right now, something that is rightfully his is being kept somewhere else. Who knows if he had a say in that? Or maybe I am reading too deeply into that, idk.

-The oracle speaking through Gabe's image is not something I like (it spoke through Gabe in the book but Percy makes a point to say that it's not speaking in Gabe's voice and is very spooky). It's very goofy in the show. My theory is that a version that was closer to the books was too scary and Disney asked to have it toned down. Who knows if that's actually what happened, but that is my theory.

-'Someone who wouldn't hesitate to push me down a flight of stairs.' Perfect foreshadowing. Also, Chiron knows FOR SURE that Annabeth would push someone down a flight of stairs (she tried to later on, so he was correct)

-Percy and Grover (my boys!! ♡♡♡♡♡) I hope they get more screentime in coming seasons than they did in the later books.

-"We don't need help. We're fine." Yes, hubris is definitely her flaw. On a side note, I've always admired that her flaw is hubris and not something more stereotypically "girly." I think too often girls in media have to be 'perfect', and it's not true to life. Annabeth is very talented and formidable, but she's not perfect, and that's great. There is a great lack of complex and flawed female characters (and then when we do get them, people tend not to receive them well, which is another tangent altogether).

-I like the way they handled Medusa's story in the show. I love the emphasis of the fallibility of the gods. But I'm glad that even though you can sympathize with her, she's still an obstacle. She's embittered, and she's trying to take her revenge on the gods through their children, so in the end, she's actually doing what they do, taking revenge on innocent people. I really like this section of the books (especially how they slowly figure out where they are) but I don't mind so much that they changed it to make room for this. It emphasizes that the gods can and DO make mistakes all the time, and is paving the way to Luke's arc.

-see, leon is a firm believer that a person cannot come to their best senses unless their basic/psychological needs are fulfilled. that includes things like eating, or affection—because when your body senses that you're lacking in something, it will use your brain power to signal you that you need to eat or be smothered with affection! hence you can end up feeling burnt out if u dont pay attention to ur love vitals!! >:(

-leon's mindset will always be applied on you because you're his second heart, you're his tough rock and you need to be taken care of!!

-HE KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE THINKING "affection? that's absurd people can still learn attentively and work efficiently without having to be coddled >:(" while yes in a sense its true—but sometimes you just don't realize that what you need is some time to be vulnerable and intimate, which can explain why your emotions feel a lot more heightened recently than usual (which he notices by the way). you've been tense for a while, and leon reasons that you can't just 'move on' from being overwhelmed with work stress and whatnot—you have to relieve it! but enough about theory.

-your hunger for food or affection is like a 7th sense to leon to be honest. while it's not an accurate intuition everytime, he's bound to think of you once every like two minutes.

-leon actually has very clear and high critical thinking skills. this means he is able to remember a lot of things about you even if he only notices them or you mention it once: this includes your comfort drink, where you like to be touched, hell maybe even the MBTI of your favorite character. and he ESPECIALLY knows what food you like. pad thai, sushi, oxtail, jerk chicken, cake, boba, YOU NAME IT HE KNOWS IF YOU LOVE IT OR NOT

-so when it actually came to asking you what you wanted, he'd send a text saying he's downtown and asking you 'what would you like, baby?'. he's careful with his words and doesn't say "do you want me to get you something on the way?" because it means he's giving you a choice >:( when the whole point is to spoil you because you deserve it.

-and if you answer with something vague like 'anything' HE DOESN'T MAKE YOU SPEAK FURTHER he'll just buy what he knows u like and keep the rest in the fridge if you dont wanna eat it :3 well that's what they're for, right?

"oh, my sweet.." his voice was quaint at the sight of you. leon tried his best to be silent when he entered the room, not wanting to sound like he was pitying you, but seeing you half-covered with comforters, mildly upset and your mind in a frazzle has his heart dropping a bit. you were probably thinking about so many things: meeting some deadlines, picking up this and that from the store, computing this... but you just couldn't organize your thoughts. but that's why leon was here.

your head moved to swivel his direction. "leon.." you smile at him weakly.

it was cold in the city tonight. leon places a hefty white plastic bag of your favorite on the nearby surface before he sits down in front of you from the edge of your bed. he takes the brief second of studying his lover's face before he pulls you into a comforting and warm hug. he can't help but pat the back of his sweet baby's head down, and you feel his lips barely nuzzle onto your ear as he mutters. "y're so good to me, baby. you know that?" leon reminds you before kissing the side of your head shortly. you tried to reciprocate it by giving him a nimble kiss on his cheek, which he gratefully accepts with an eager beam on his lips.

his hands slide down your arms in a soft stroke as he lets go of you gently. the rustling of the bed's layers being heard as leon moves a bit to reach for the hefty boxes of food, which he opens for you once he gives you take your utensil/s. leon's happy seeing you eat. it's a form of reassurance to him personally witnessing you getting the fill you deserve after a whole few days of being so busy and rushing everywhere. it's a calming sense to him as you both soak in comfortable silence while he watches you eat. he was caring less that it's 2 in the morning and caring more about the way the color on your face slowly vibrates back onto your features. you seem less tired, just by a tad percentage. it makes him smile to himself knowing he was able to take care of you. " 'm finished." you mumbled with a hum, feeling a little full and having to lie down. fullness makes you sleepy (and leon knows that!) so he has a subtle, cheeky little grin as he leans over and collects your legs with one arm, pulling you to make you lie on your back. he crawls over to lie down next to you, once again pulling you close to him while he wraps his arms around you— one patting and planted gently on your back while the other cradles your head close to his heart. just where you belong... "you tired, baby?" leon asked shortly and your little nod sufficed. his cheek gently rests against the side of the crown of your head. his touch is soft, it's sweet as he rubs and scratches down your back gently. he gently scruffles at your scalp with his other hand's fingertips, and the motions will send you to a hopefully revitalizing sleep ♡. he places a kiss on the top of your head, like a ribbon keeping its gift from falling apart :( he knows at this moment maybe you're thinking you don't deserve him. but that's so far from the truth.

I think it's worth mentioning that if Stolas became mortal or lost his power: he'd hate it. I don't care what stans say, Stolas regardless of intentional or not treats everyone below him like shit and has no problem using his stasis to get what he wants. Not only that, him being Blue Blood gives him power over Blitzo and there's no doubt in my mind Stolas is gonna gaslight him into a relationship in the next episode and make it seem Blitzo is in the wrong because 'boo hoo I'm so sad' which is just...gross as fuck. And what happens after he loses that edge over Blitzo and doesn't have power over him anymore now that he's no longer a prince and mortal? He'll make Blitzo's life hell and honestly, I won't blame Blitzo if he kicks him out now the fact he doesn't have a way to threaten his lively hood.

At least Ozzie has positive qualities to him and can adapt if he chose to give it all up to be with Fizz (not saying that should happen or like the idea but I rather that than Fizz getting to live forever kind of thing if we MUST have the two being happily together in the end. Plus the whole 'jester to queen' thing you mentioned in your last ask gave me something to think more about because boy does it feel Viv sure enjoys taking away my gremlin's identity and agency). Stolas is everything Striker and Blitzo says he is and his actions show it. Doesn't matter how much you gaslight your audience Viv, you're running your show for this horrible ship and you have no one to blame but yourself if it keeps losing views.

He’ll absolutely hate it but at the same time, he loves being weak and pathetic enough to need Blitzøs attention. Like how he faked it in LooLoo Land and got really excited in Seeing Stars and Western Energy at the idea of being saved by him, it’s a glorified fetish. Plus the only reason I think Viv keeps weakening him is so we stop pointing out the weird coercive power dynamic that has not budged an inch, and will never move an inch while she claims it’s not a big issue. Despite it being the establishing scene of a character who was meant to be a villain until the end of season one, where the shipping art got really popular. Now any time someone brings up his behaviour in murder family, stolitz stans bring up The Circus, an entirely different set of events. Which, I will keep saying, doesn’t disprove anything or make the deal ok. Because once off of (guilt driven) “consent” by someone trapped in someone else’s bedroom, doesn’t include consent from then on or every month.

Not only gaslight him into a relationship, but move into his apartment, join his business, hell probably ask to watch when he’s using the shower. And given the leaks of Via abandoning stolas because of all of this, and stolas saying things to her like “you’ve been the one good thing in my life” and running away from Blitzø (only for him to follow up behind him, give him his jacket, and rest his head on his shoulders, like a pet) This is going to get so so ugly. And I feel like any decent writer would see this as the perfect trigger for stolas to become the Stella of Blitzøs life. Always tormenting him and reminding him of what he did. And stolas always abuses Millie Moxxie and doesn’t even know Loona exists (and if he treats imps this bad I can’t imagine hellhounds) so it’s an awful idea.

Everyone hated seeing stars, so they’re gonna make the entire show seeing stars from now on🫣 and I think Chai said the writing of the episode is even worse than that.

When he's infatuated, though, he's not the same person. He's big, towering over you, and makes you tiny by comparison. He enjoyed it, too. Made him feel powerful, how small you were in comparison, and how you'd look under him. He would use this to his advantage, leaning over you and trapping you in his arms, grabbing you and moving you around as he wished, like his little rag doll.

In all honesty in his lovesick state, he's a terror. He's not the type to make a shrine, or place photos around the wall of his room. He has a few treasured photographs of you he keeps with him at all times, to look at, satisfy his pleasures to, and remind himself of his focus.

Kirishima is a giant passive-aggressive bully.

No one understands what you're talking about, the pushing around, the small pinches to your thighs, hands skimming the side of your skin going up and underneath your skirt while you tried to move away without angering him. What could you do about it, anyways? No one believes you anyway. You're talking about Red Riot, he would never do such things. Why are you trying to muddy his name?

It continued to be like that, his subtle touches, sometimes rough and scarring, left behind scratches at times and red sore makes as if to remind you where he's been. He's a jealous guy, though it seems more internal than anything. Unlike Bakugou who will hate everything you touch and will be watching from afar, or Izuku, whose idea of 'take out the garbage is a bit too liberal when it comes to people and objects; Kirishima does not wait away or shy from your attention. He runs head-on and tells everyone that he is in love with you.

The peer pressure will not end. "Give him a chance,"

"Don't break the guy's heart,"

"It's Kirishima, no way you're gonna reject him right? He's been your friend since the beginning of our first year!"

His other stalker behaviour is scrapbooking whatever little polaroids he likes to snap of you, (polaroids on purpose for the aesthetic) as well as whatever remind him of you. A daisy he found, little heart sprinkles he found in the store that made him think of you, whatever little aesthetic things he likes and comforts him as if you were there to do it yourself. He has both sides of cruelty and the gentle-handed approach, and which one he used depends on the impulses he gets the moment you happen to be in his vision.

At times you'd get whiplash by the sudden gentlemanly act he has, holding your stuff for you, getting you little trinkets like a tiny gremlin, cute little animal candles is something he will definitely give you and for no apparent reason. It becomes very apparent he is going through it, his mind is bouncing from wall to wall flipping through moods and behaviours like play cards yet no matter how many times he pulls a card he is always the joker.

He doesn't think it through. When asked, if you turn to him with wide teary eyes and ask him why he was doing this he'd be very confused. He is aware what he's doing is a crime, but it does not particularly register to him that he might be considered a criminal. Unlike the others, whose forms of denial can consist of fake acceptance and/or severe delusion, Kirishima is hurt by the insinuation that he is terrorizing you, and the gaslighting may begin.

Was he that bad? He was so sorry if you felt that way, so upset that he was not being good to you as he wanted, or that he was simply playing, didn't mean to hurt you, and the big wide red eyes turning to you with apologies falling from his lips, but his eyes moving to yours— and if you soften...

Kiss.

He really wants you, no matter what, you know. He'll be the perfect guy, you just gotta accept it, and let him surround you with his love. It really doesn't come to his mind that accepting his love also means accepting his fury.

Kidnapping is not exactly his style. He'd much rather pressure you into his arms, it makes it easier to convince himself it was you who'd accepted him without his interference. He finds it much more pleasurable when he can shower you with love and attention in front of others in favour of accosting you at later times. The secrecy, the lying and toying with the public images of both of you makes him high with the power, all the subtlety it takes when he was considered too airheaded to do all those things boosts his self-image to a level unwarranted. Which is why he has no problem knowing you'll be his.

You can't out-manoeuvre him. But you're lucky he loves you, and you should care about remaining in his good graces otherwise his teasing smiles and cocky grins will turn into cruel smirks and sadistic touches.

Don't test him. You won't like the hardened shell he'll erect to push your limits.

"will shouldn't use a gun in season five because his father probably taught him how to use one and that could be a bad reminder for him" have you considered that will using what was very likely a Bad experience to save his life in what is undoubtedly an even worse experience could be a good thing? have you considered that him using a skill he was forced to learn to save not only himself but (as is likely more important and meaningful to him) the lives of others could give him a sense of usefulness and safety knowing that he isn't defenseless and can stand his and others' ground if need be? especially considering that's a skill that we've only seen hopper and nancy possess, making it that much more valuable and himself more helpful to the group? after everything in s1 and s2, he's probably felt guilty for having endangered them and dozens of other people multiple times, i don't think it'd be out there for him to feel "happy" that he can finally return the favor and protect them for once (especially after having complained about being babied and treated like a doll).

"will doesn't have and shouldn't have powers because that makes him different and he doesn't want to be different" not only are you wrong lol <3 but how have you not noticed that will's entire thing since the very beginning is that he is different and he knows it and while he does get his heart broken over the fact that this means he faces constant unfairness in life, he still refuses to be any other way? will doesn't conform nor does he ever try to even when others try to force or shame him to. he gets frustrated and upset at being treated differently, yes, but he stays true to himself. to battle that feeling he sometimes gets that tells him he's a mistake, a feeling he gets not from his own otherness but from living in a world that Makes it an otherness and thus isolates him for it, he seeks out that which he loves and enjoys and throws himself wholeheartedly at it. will lives his truth and is willing to suffer the consequences for it. he refuses to live in darkness and let it take a hold of him. he holds on to hope and all that makes him feel better for being different. he holds on to art, to dnd, to video games, to his family and his friends, and everything that brings him joy and reminds him that it's okay to be different. in s1 joyce defends will ("he's missing is what he is") and jonathan tells him he shouldn't like things that other people (namely their homophobic dad) try to force him to like, that he should like what he genuinely likes. in s2 jonathan gives will the freak speech and tells him that no one normal ever accomplished anything and mentions bowie. in s3, he doesn't get a speech, (though joyce does tell him that when he falls in love he won't find it gross [avoiding the word girlfriend and leaving it neutral]) but he does face backlash from someone that IS trying to conform and IS shaming will for not letting go of "childish" things aka his interests, what's important to him, and what he wants. does will back down or shy away in shame? no. instead, he lets mike sit in his shame for having said something that hurtful, and he says "yeah. i guess i did. i really did." clearly this is a conversation about what makes will different aka his sexuality bc he goes and destroys castle byers (the safe place he and his brother built once their homophobic dad left which is a place will can be himself unapologetically) with what is likely a bat that lonnie gave him when trying to get him into baseball. he calls himself stupid and donates his dnd books, but i don't see this as an act of conformity (he tells mike as much, suggesting he'll just use his books + if he was ashamed he wouldn't have painted the party as their dnd characters and given it to him of all people lol). he felt stupid because he thought they'd always be crazy together, that they were of the same mind and heart still, and that they had the same brand of "otherness" if you catch my drift. then in s4 we get jonathan's tender "you're my brother and there is nothing absolutely nothing that will ever change that" which is the most direct anyone has ever been about that which makes will different. and he doesn't shy away from it! he doesn't deny it, because we can see from his confession and how he breaks down that he's desperately been wanting and needing to hear that. he accepts that love and allows himself to be held and seen by someone else, as he has every other time. because will doesn't hate being different, he just hates that he has to live in a world where that's seen as wrong and thus makes him feel like he doesn't belong because of it. but he doesn't change himself. he doesn't feel ashamed of it. he doesn't see it as a flaw in himself or others and he never has. will is different and he knows it and he wouldn't have it any other way.

will's story since the beginning has been about being different and going through awful things, and managing to not only find the light in it but also make it out stronger because of it all. it's always been about using what makes him different as a good thing and as something he uses to save himself and others.

will being good with a gun bought him time with whatever kidnapped him. will knowing how to run and hide kept him alive in the upside down. will acted as a spy while possessed and managed not only to save hopper but also tell them how to finish this. will's experiences and senses helped them figure out what was happening in season three. will's love and loyalty inspires mike and manages to bring him to a better place even if just for a moment in the van, and again he's the one that knows vecna's current state, aaaand had he been in hawkins at the time it likely would've gone a lot better because as dustin said "we need will".

taking something awful and turning it into a good thing and a source of strength is a wonderful trope. it's inspiring and empowering not only for the character but for those that could use that hope and reminder that there's always a silver lining, that life isn't all darkness and shadows and hurt. not only that, but it's something that they've literally always done for will since the very beginning. he is the prime character for that. his entire message has always been that it's okay to be different and that you can find strength and peace in that; that the things that make you different aren't a detriment, they're precisely what make you strong. like... i'm sorry, but have you not been paying attention at all whatsoever this entire time or... :/

Connor thinks your political hold is great for his presidency. Very nicely you sit him down and explain that being president isn't an easy thing, it's not something you can just decide to be one day. He's not really listening though, assuring you his campaign won't hurt yours. It might even make yours better! Who knows? You can't stop him, you would never want to, it makes him so happy. But you definitely put some distance between what you're doing and what he's doing. You're doing the real thing, with goals and issues and a real idea of how to do your job. Connor just decided one day that's what he was going to do after a lifetime of doing nothing. It can be frustrating, especially when you're known as President Roy's first partner. You're actually doing something that will have an impact. You know his siblings don't actually believe in him, nor does his father. You're the only cheering him on. It comes with a lot of conflicted feelings.

Kendall feels a lot of stress. He can't help but spiral anytime something doesn't 100% go your way. He's very reactive. You're the one who's able to take a step back, look at the whole picture, and find a way to fix the problem. Most of the time it's not even that big a deal. So some of your numbers are a little low, you can always make up for it later. You're the one calming him down, reminding him that this is a long game you intend to play well, with lots of strategy. He can't help it, you know this. When something goes wrong in his world everything, absolutely everything, falls apart. He's so proud of you, too. When he's not freaking out, he's bragging to anyone who will listen that he's dating the next President of the United States. You wouldn't go that far, you laugh, but you can dream. He doesn't get too involved, not wanting to mess things up, but he'll always ask you how it's going. At night, in bed, the two of you debrief your days. What did your campaign manager say about this or that? Was Logan any nicer today? How are Shiv and Rome? When is your next speech? Your days are stressful and all-encompassing, but your nights together are anything but.

Shiv loves helping you with your career. All her life, she's been ignored. By her father, by her mother, by her brothers, by everyone she's ever worked with because she is a woman. Because they have already decided she's hysterical and stupid and not as powerful as they are. She doesn't want to overstep at first, but your career is new, and you're still building your image. You know Shiv is smart. You know she knows what she's doing. When she's not competing with everyone around her, she can actually think through every decision and have the best outcome. You two often spend date nights going over speeches, campaign ads, slogans, meetings, etc. You try to change the subject, not wanting your whole life to become this, but Shiv doesn't mind at all. She loves it. Not only is she helping you, which she loves, but she's finally starting to feel heard for the first time in her life. She knows you're going to be one of the greats. She does. And she's gonna help you get there. You're a power couple. No one is going to get in your way.

Roman my baby my baby, you're my baby doesn't get involved at all. He says it's because politics aren't his thing, but really he's afraid he'll mess everything up. He got involved with Mencken and that went pretty well. After he starts dating you, he makes sure his public image remains neutral. He gives Mencken to someone else, wholeheartedly standing behind you. He knows the politics of his fathers business. The backstabbing, the lying, the cheating. He expects the same kind of cat fights from you and your opponents. You remind him that you don't run like that. That's not your style. You run a clean, fair campaign. Your opponents can do and say whatever they want, but you won't be dragged down to that level. You know what they say about politicians. . . He's got endless jokes lined up. You don't mind, you know the reputation you all have. But you're trying to do better, be better. You think people deserve honesty, they deserve the truth. Roman can't believe it, you've got no skeletons in your closet. He assumed everyone did. Everyone else in his life did, at least.

Thoughts on Shadow Kirby

I see Shadow as like Kirby, but minus the cheerfulness and can-do attitude. So he's more of an unsmiling husk and has a bit of a creepy Victorian orphan vibe.

Comparisons (largely based on how I see them and may not match canon exactly):

Kirby: "I used to have lots of enemies, but not anymore!" (He befriended them.)

Skirby: "I used to have lots of enemies. Not anymore." (Refuses to elaborate.)

Kirby: Likes Meta Knight partially because his glowing eyes remind him of fireflies, which he loves to chase.

Skirby: Intrigued by Dark Meta Knight partially because, like a cockroach, he's shiny, dark, mysterious, difficult to kill and eats trash.

Kirby: Crashes at your house uninvited, will eat all your snacks if you let him.

Skirby: Manifests behind you when you least expect it. Even though you were sure you locked all the doors... (He crawled in through the chimney.)

Kirby: Uses crayons to draw slightly primitive but vibrant scenes of his friends and food. (And the occasional fight with a horrific villain, but shhh.)

Skirby: Makes intricate charcoal pencil drawings of cockroaches and other creepy crawlies performing summoning rituals. (They're summoning candy.)

Kirby: Doesn't always know what to say, but makes up for it in enthusiasm.

Skirby: Doesn't always know what to say, so hangs back and stares. If you stare back too long he'll throw something at you and run.

Kirby: Childishly inquisitive. Asks lots of questions like: "How do clouds float? Is that a hat or a crown? What's your favourite snack? Why do you wear a mask? What do you think of this cool trick I can do?" Meta Knight humours him, even when he doesn't know the answers. (Although he sometimes loses his patience when Kirby interrupts him when he's busy.)

Skirby: Morbidly curious. Asks questions like: "Does everyone have blood? How many stars explode everyday that we've never seen or heard of? Do angels exist and are they friendly? How long does it take for rainwater with a pH of 5.6 to erode an igneous rock that's exactly 13 m³ big?" Dark Meta Knight is sick of it. (He doesn't know the answers and doesn't have the patience or resources to look them up.)

Kirby: Doesn't mind sparring as long as it's not cruel, because it's great exercise. Willingly fights in the Arena where he doesn't have to hold back, so he can train to defend his friends and planet.

Skirby: Used to hate fighting, but learned to turn his opponent's weapons against them. Doesn't hold back because while the Power of Friendship™ is all well and good, sometimes violence is the only way to defeat a threat.

I also think it's interesting to note that in KatAM when you encounter Shadow the second time he can suddenly use Copy Abilities, but has no hat and can only do one simple attack. Just like when Kirby first showed his Copy Ability in Adventure (his second appearance)!

No wonder Shadow is so shy! He just spawned, only knows this is his world and something is terribly wrong, then witnesses the fight between Meta Knight and Dark Meta Knight and the subsequent sealing. He secretly follows DMK, then runs into someone strong who looks just like him, he realises that he has abilities like this pink doppelganger, but doesn't know Kirby's motivations and has to decide right then: is this an enemy or not? Who's the good guy? Not unlike how Kirby must've felt when he first ran into Meta Knight.

Of course Shadow already has Dark Meta Knight, but I have no idea how or if they would canonically interact, if DMK was even aware of him before he got shattered, how long it took for DMK to regenerate, what Shadow did in the mean time, or if Shadow considers him an ally.
