hihi!! platonic jing yuan and yanqing with yanqing’s younger twin?
★ A/N: We love this found family dynamic adnifnogrn
☆ Genre/Trope: Platonic + Familial (Found Family)
★ Format: HeadCannons + Mini Scenarios
☆ Warnings: None
★ Extra: Not proof read, wanted to ramble in a way. I love the found family trope wkdnfrg // Reader is taller then Yanqing but younger // Single father JY // Reader is part of the alchemy commission (not stated much as I don't know much about it/can't remember) // I wrote this on my phone at like 3am

General Family HCs - Platonic! Jing Yuan + Yanqing + GN! Reader
Despite you and Yanqing being twins. Both him and Jing Yuan are still protective over you despite you only being younger by like a couple of seconds. You DO have freedman. They’re not that over protective. But do expect at least one of them to visit when you’re at work.
The difference in how you all treat your room honestly…Jing Yuans room is messy, sure his bed is made but documents and such are all over the place. Being a general means he can’t really have the time to care. Yanqing room (at least his side of the room - you two share) is also messy. Not as messy as Jing Yuans. Actually probably messier. There’s swords laying on the ground (safely) and clothes. Your side of the room is more cleaner. I feel like if you work at the alchemy commission you probably know it’s important to keep tidy.
Jing Yuan goes all out for your birthday with Yanqing. He’ll throw a party and get anything the two of you want. Even if they contrast horribly with each other. He will be making the two of you happy. Even if it means confusing anyone walking by if you decide to have it in a more public area.
You probably have been taught how to wield a sword. Both Jing Yuan and Yanqing know they’ll have to stop constantly checking in on you. So to ensure you’ll be able to protect yourself. You know how to wield a sword (or any weapon of your choosing)
I have a weird feeling you’re the best cook out of the trio. The other two do help though!…With like mixing and cutting. Jing Yuan at least knows how to cook simple, but if you want to feel fully fed and energised for the day. Perhaps you should take over?
Yanqing used to be taller. But then you grew taller. Honestly it’s funny to see how pouty he was when you first grew a few inches above his own height. He’s fine now though…just don’t assume he’s the younger twin.
Jing Yuan has a habit of patting your head. Yours and Yanqing. It’s his subtle way of saying “I’m proud of you” and he always is. He’s proud of the two of you and how far you’ve come. He’s proud to consider the two of you his children. And he’ll be proud of the two of you until he dies.
When you first joined the alchemy commission. I feel as though Yanqing wanted as many updates as he could about you. Jing Yuan trusted whoever was your mentor there but Yanqing was a bit worried. He will always protect his younger twin! Once he knows you’re doing well, he’ll start actually paying attention to HIS job.
If you say anyone bullied you for anything? Yanqing there to give them a piece of his mind (and if things got physical - maybe do some pay back) and Jing Yuans there to help and reassure you.
100% you all cuddled when you and Yanqing were much younger. Jing Yuan could not let his little babies alone. (He had to eventually, wasn’t happy)
Once you and Yanqing tried styling Jing Yuans hair and a family of birds flew out.
I feel like I said this before but just encase I haven’t - If you ever get a partner, they’re gonna have to get the approval of both of them. Jing Yuan may be easier to impress but Yanqing might be a bit harder
You honestly probably got to boast that your dad was the general at school. Whether or not you did is up to you.
Imagine a small you and a Yanqing struggling to hold up Jing Yuans weapon. You’re lifting up one side and Yanqings lifting up the other.
You also have a lion that you can snuggle up with :D Mini loves you, maybe you’re her favourite 👁👁
Tumblr media
I absolutely hate working on my phone. But I didn’t have my laptop with me to do this sob. I’ll fix anything once I have it again if I find any mistakes
Last request will be started as soon as I come home from school! I’m hoping to have it posted by Sunday or Monday :))

Hello Beautiful Beasties!
Smut-tember 23, Day 16: Fierce x Reader(Fem or could be GN) - Forgiveness
Summary: Being in an official relationship with Fierce had many pros, but it came with a few cons and one pro became a con very quickly. His protectiveness. He says something and it cuts like a knife, leading to you running off. Alone and lost, all you want is him and his warmth around you, the argument can wait. You just didn't expect him to be worse off than you.
Word count: 2,393
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You hated this. You hated every part of it. It wasn't fair. Why was it that you got treated differently? You could fight, wield a sword or a bow easily enough, yet they all coddled you worse than Wind. You stomped into camp, a heated argument already brewed between most of the Chain and you. Bickering was common, but this was the first real argument any of them actually had. And to make it worse, it was mostly between you and Fierce. The others tried to make it stop, but you weren't going to stand for this any more.
"That's bullshit!!" You hollered as you turned to look at Fierce who walked behind you all the way to camp. You could feel holes being bored into your back from him staring.
"It will be this way from now on." His stony expression did little to intimidate you.
"Says you? I have been with you lot for five months and have proven that I can hold my own. I have done everything you have asked of me just to not be left behind in camp."
Twilight spoke calmly, yet was stern. "We just want to keep you safe."
"I'm the safest with a weapon in hand." You bit back, but didn't press more of the issue towards Twi. He didn't deserve it. You got back in Fierce's face, "And your lack of confidence in me nearly got Legend killed! I was fine where I was, I had my area under control."
Fierce uncharacteristically stepped closer to you, not backing down. "Under control? Not paying attention to your blind side, not sticking to the plan and recklessly taking on monsters that outnumbered you is what you call being fine and holding your own? Let's just throw you in front of Ganon or better yet, Demise and see what happens! You aren't as capable as you think you are."
There was a storm building behind Fierce's white eyes. Everyone saw it. Sky tried to grab your wrist to pull you from the snarling deity. You ripped your arm away, taking another step closer, now having to look up at him. "What is your problem, Fierce? Why are you the most hellbent about this? Why can't you accept that I-"
"Because you aren't a hero!!" He roared, both eyes glowing with power as he looked down over you.
The comment silenced everyone.
It felt like an actual blow, causing you to take several steps back. "You… you see me as less, all because I don't have the title of a hero?" You started walking backwards.
"(Y/n), wait, that's not what I meant." Guilt flooded the god's face as his shoulders and ears drooped. His hand reached for you, but you flinched away like the touch would hurt. He quickly drew his hand back, looking down at his palms as if they were the source of the pain you felt in your chest.
The silence was too much. There were too many eyes. Everything in you was screaming to run, that the god in front of you was dangerous, that you were in danger… RUN!
"Wait!!"
You ran because Fierce was the first person to reach out to you. The first to tell you that you were enough just as you were. He was the one in the middle of the night to hold you close to his chest because you couldn’t sleep. That same night was the night that you looked up from where you were tucked under his chin and cupped his cheek, drawing his lips down to yours for a tender kiss.
Your lungs burned from the long distance you went. You crashed to the ground at the entrance of a meadow that you didn’t recognize, knees stinging from the harsh impact. Curling in on yourself, you watched the sun descend for the moon to come out. It was beautiful, but the colors were dulled with the pang in your heart.
H-he didn’t mean it, right?
Maybe you just overreacted?
Fierce just doesn't want you in harms way. That is all he was doing.
Right?
You looked around, now noticing that you didn’t keep track of where you were or how far you went. Great… You were lost. You grumbled to yourself knowing Wolfie would be sent to find you. Maybe Fierce was right, you had no business being with the Chain, with him.
The moon was bright in the sky when a branch snapped behind you, telling you that you were found. “Sorry they sent you all the way out here to find me, Wolfie. Seems no matter where I turn I need rescuing." The sound of feet scuffing closer made you think Twilight shifted back. Your brain went on a frenzy. You weren't ready to talk to anyone. Your mind then went blank, heart skipped when the person behind you kneeled. Their head laid partly on your left shoulder and the back of your neck. The unsteady breath in supplied you with who it really was, as did the few white strands of hair you could see. You didn't dare move.
Fierce whispered, "I do not deserve your forgiveness if you chose to, so I won't ask for it, but know that I truly am sorry. I should have trusted you and not take matters into my own hands. I shouldn't have scolded you for trying to protect Legend's life or raised my voice towards you when all you were doing was what any of the others would have done. I will not defend why I did it because it doesn't matter compared to how I have hurt you."
You two sat there in silence like that. You could feel him playing with the hem of your tunic that he had gotten for you when you joined them. You wanted to be mad at him, to push him away and be left alone. He would let you do it too, but when you heard him sigh in despair, accepting your judgment and start to move away, you reached behind you for his hand.
He didn't move…
You gripped his hand softly, gradually lacing your fingers with his. His hand was shaking and you were sure his other one was too. Trying to reassure him, you rub your thumb over his gloved hand. That wasn’t going to do.
“I’m sorry.” he whispered again.
Anyone else would have gone back to the argument, defended their opinion, scolded the other for the hasty action, rejected the apology, but that wasn’t what either of you needed. You needed his arms, scent, voice, hands, chest, lips, eyes… you needed him. What he needed was reassurance that you still loved him even though he was in the wrong, that you weren’t going to leave him. You pulled his hand around to your front, making him come closer. He kept his hand exactly where it was and moved the rest of his body so he could sit behind you, you between his legs. His arm you weren’t holding onto was wrapped around your torso lightly, head back to where it was when he spoke to you. The more silence, the harder it was going to be to break it. “We can discuss you portaling me out of the fight and the words exchanged at a different time. Right now, I just want to be close to you.”
He pulled you fully to his chest, making you giggle. The man knew you were weak when it came to how easily he could move you, like air. Turning around, you got onto your knees. He looked star-struck as his eyes never left yours. You gently moved his bangs from his face, soft smile on your lips. The smile fell with furrowed brows as you spoke, “I am sorry too, for all the things I said.”
His brows matched yours now as his hands cupped both of your warm cheeks. “You have nothing to be sorry for. This was entirely my fault, you hold no blame.”
“I overreact-”
“You reacted the way you did because of how I was treating and talking to you. That is all.” A single tear that you didn’t know you had fell, but was smoothed away with his thumb. He brought your forehead to his, taking a deep breath of each other. This was a normal gesture between you two, a sign of love and trust. It was calming.
It wasn’t enough.
You made your way into his lap as his hands held your rear. For whatever ungodly reason, he was still wearing his full armor. You slowly took his cap off and laid it to the side, then carded both sets of fingers through his white, soft hair. His eyes fluttered closed. Looking at his markings that you adored so dearly, you began to trace over them, starting with the blue on his forehead, then cheeks. After your fingers left a marking, your lips were there to ghost over them.
Deftly you unbuckled the red strap that held his sword to his back, letting it and the metal holding it fall to the ground. Fierce more so tossed it away with one hand, eyes never leaving your face. Next was the two red fasteners on the right shoulder and the two that were located on the seam at his right ribs. They popped off with some force needed, releasing the stiff heavy metal from the deity’s body. He allowed you to take one of his hands at a time to find the hidden clasps of his bracers. Unclasping them loosened his gloves so they could slip off his hands and forearms. You couldn’t help yourself as you kissed each finger, the back of his scarred hands and his calloused palms after they were released from their confines. Tunics were the only thing in the way from him being how you wanted him to be. He didn’t resist as you pulled them both from the bottom, over his head and placed them with his cap. Perfection at its finest.
You now could see all of his markings across his body (minus the ones around his hips and legs) bringing a smile to your face. Two fingers from each of your hands slowly went to the sides of his neck right below his ears where the double red markings started. You traced the four lines down to his clavicule. A single thumb touched the thick, solid blue stripe that laid on the soft notch at the base of his throat and followed it up to where it ended at the tip of his chin. A devious chuckle from you had him gulp, Adam's Apple bobbing. His eyes rolled back when you kept your thumb under his chin and pushed it up to get your lips on the markings like you had done on his face, but going the opposite direction than your fingers had. You sucked a pretty hickey on the upper part of his neck to pin him where he was.
His grip on your ass tightened while your nails started at the top of his shoulder, following the mirrored image of his blue marking on his forehead down his chest, making sure to go over his pierced nipples. The large blue marking connected to an identical one on his back that met on his shoulders. Two red lines on his shoulder caps were not missed and neither were the ones on his ribs. You weren’t gentle with your nails along his ribs, making him jolt and hitch his breath with a moan.
He grabbed your hair tie, pulled it out and kept it around his wrist. Both his hands went into your hair to bring you closer. His lips landed on yours momentarily before he said, “You are my weakness.” He captured your mouth again with more passion, nimble fingers unlacing the ties to your tunic. Fierce pushed the tunic off your shoulder, getting you to pull your arms out. Somewhere during his effortless movements to lay you down on your back, your bra was taken off, chest exposed to his moonlit white eyes.
You two took a moment to soak in the sight of each other. His hair, though short, framed his face in white. Muscles moved under his fair skin as he pinned your wrists near the sides of your head. He shifted between your legs, nearly chest to chest when he spoke again. "My weakness… my strength… the holder of my heart… and the only being that can put fear in me." He kissed your skin as he talked. "Fear of losing you."
"I'm not going anywhere." He leaned on one elbow to look down at your face, hand cupping your cheek, eyes searching your face as if burning the image of you into his mind so he wouldn't ever forget. Your smile was honest and warm, eyes twinkling like the stars above. He kissed the pad of your thumb when you glided it over his bottom lip. "I love you Fierce, nothing could change that. I forgive you."
His lips crashed into yours with a need, a need that only you could fill. You happily whined into the kiss. He would have torn the tunic off of you if it wasn't your favorite, but he still removed it in a manner that said if it didn't come off easily, he would rip it. All the while, you were pushing down his dark blue leggings over his hips. He stood to kick off his boots, then peeled the only thing left on him. He laughed as you ogled at him disrespectfully, something that made him bashful. He never had anyone worship him the way you do with touch alone and he was never willingly going to let you go.
The two of you explored each other’s bodies slowly, feeling every curve, dip and valley. Words weren’t spoken from there on as to not disrupt the virtue of the moment. The only thing heard was the warm summer breeze sweeping through the meadows, taking the harmonized melody of stridulation you two created with it. Crickets chirped their songs, an owl hooted in the nearby tree, frogs croaked along the running stream as Lightning Bugs and Fairies danced in the moonlight shining in the undergrowth.
It was a night of forgiveness, all else could wait
Keep it Naughty you Beautiful Beasties!🖤
We land on the northeastern shore of the island, and learn that FCG does not, in fact, know how compasses work.
Before using the compass to call the ghost pirates (?), FCG casts speak with dead on the bodies in the portable hole, and Imogen disguises herself as her mother to get them to talk. First, the druid:
[You failed your mission. Where is Thull?] "She remains at the key." [How many have come over?] "I don't know. I saw a hundred or more." [Did you ever speak to Ludinus?] "No. Just watched him." [How much time until we strike?] "I don't know." [What is the greatest threat to our organization?] "They've mentioned unity. Keep them scattered."
Next, General Ratanish: [Congratulations, you fell to a group of weaklings. Luckily, our master is forgiving. We can bring you back if you prove yourself. Tell me how we communicate.] "The old-fashioned way. The solstice has scrambled us." [Tell me how we protected our entrances to the key.] "The soldiers have been moved as you requested, and the Moonfolk have kept eyes as well." [You were in charge of keeping rebellions down, yes?] "Partially." [As you can see, I've been separated from our forces. Tell me about our entrances into the key.] "You have many tricks up your sleeve. The main pit entrance is easy. Otherwise... they were closed behind us as a precaution." [What happened to the two, the wizard and the monk?] "Probably dead."
In the throes of that massive success, they turn back to summoning a ship full of ghost pirates. From where the compass hits the water, mist billows and encloses the landscape, the temperature drops dramatically, and Orym hears nothing except for the waves and the wind. Noiselessly, a shadowed shape breaches the distant fog bank — the bow of a massive ship, chains hanging from the sides, an overgrown moss clustered up the hull, three masts with tattered sails.
It pulls up alongside the beach, and shadowed figures leap from the deck to meet them. They're mostly skeletal, wearing torn leather, wielding cutlasses — ten of them marching up the shore, splashing through the water. A handful stay on the ship, and a raspy voice echoes from it: "Take it from them. Leave them bleeding. Whatever they have is ours." Initiative!
wait are the Bells Hells finally going to get a ship if they defeat these guys??
Laudna knocks out most of the skeletons with a fireball and calls out in Shadowcant. "You sure you don't want to chat." "Hah. A chat it is. Kill the rest." The captain holds his action for the next couple of rounds.
Fearne legitimately considering not healing FCG when they're down and making death saves purely because their turn undead hit Laudna (even though it really shouldn't have bc she isn't undead) is certainly A Choice
Laudna reaches the captain, and puts his hand to her chest. "You're like me. Cursed. Rau'shan, Ka'mort, Delilah — we can end it. Together." He withdraws. "I chose this curse. The Strife Emperor granted me new life. So what else do you offer, besides returning what is mine?" She offers the compass and Chetney's cursed sword. "It's cursed, it talks to him — I figure it fits your aesthetic... it imbues him with the strength of a hundred holy men. It can grant you radiant abilities, the same ones that caused your men to flee." "Show me this blade."
Ashton rage build update: It seems like the 10th level improvement for the space rage build allows Ashton to teleport up to 60 feet on their turn. It's not clear whether this is a bonus action, a free action, or part of their movement.
Chetney approaches the captain with Graz'tchar unsheathed. "If you want your compass back, we beg but a simple journey across the seas."
Laudna's turn. "So, you're asking for passage? In trade, you all live, and you give me my compass and this fine weapon." "The compass first; the blade upon completion... you can't expect me to trust a bunch of pirates." "Collateral doesn't sound right to me. The blade now, the compass after."
Chetney hands over the blade, the captain accepts, and combat ends.
Travis went from having to be forcibly separated from the cursed sword, to willingly giving up the cursed sword after 72 episodes of buildup, to giving it away within a half dozen episodes of acquisition! that's what I call character growth!
"You have a thing here, in this realm, called guilt, and I've never really felt it before but I feel it really strongly here for some reason and it sucks—" fearne
"We didn't really do any research, we just heard about you from another woman and thought that sounded great" That is literally the Bells Hells' motto. Like. pirate captains, gods, what's the difference? they don't know shit about either!
They ask about the captain and his ship. They used to be well-known in these parts (unclear whether "these parts" refers to the Shattered Teeth or Domunas), but gained a lot of enemies; eventually, the enemies became part of the crew. They had almost gathered all of the things they were searching for when the curse befell them, and now they're searching for the rest — "things that are personal to me. Items, keepsakes, trophies, and my navigation tools."
And they, on semantics, give him his compass back. This surely will have no negative consequences in the future.
The boat is called "the Crimson Abyss." They're crossing over the Vermillion Reef. I mean, come on—
The captain has made multiple allusions to how his word is his bond, and how promises bind him, and how all the stories about him reflect this. Is he some kind of fey entity, somehow?
Ashton asks the captain about what's happening globally, and he says that he knows basically nothing.
I feel like the Bells Hells not knowing that Bane is a Betrayer God says more about the quality of the Exandrian public education system than anything—
Bane is the god of tyranny and conquest; they are lawful evil, and they believe in structure through domination, that those who are in power are there because they deserve or have earned it. In essence, if the Cerberus Assembly had to worship a god, they'd worship Bane. But for the captain, it's less about revery and worship, and more about praying to someone you agree with when you feel the occasional need to pray.
I do genuinely hope that Laudna giving up Chetney's blade for him without consulting him will become a point of conflict, I'd love to see more of their dynamic play out.
Time to identify magic items! They got boots of speed (which are much different and marginally less powerful than the boots of haste). With a round of Rollies, Ashton gets them, and trades them to Chetney for the Ring of Temporal Salvation.
Ashton goes to talk to the navigator, and they're the only one who picks up on the fact that she can't see the fog. Ashton mentions how they think that the Bells Hells can do something, or refuse to do something, about what the gods are facing; and on the mention of the red moon, she says that she hasn't seen it in weeks, and that worries her. They play into the navigator's anger (she's the skeleton of a fire genasi, he notices, and she's angry; he knows anger), plays on her doubts, to get the information they need. Like they did with Percy, it's unclear whether Ashton actually believes that the gods deserve to die, or if they're playing up that sentiment to appeal to the person they're trying to get information from.
The rest of them head below decks, and find that it's freezing cold, too cold to sleep. Somewhere, there's a violin playing.
。⋆。˚🦋William Rex Route Preview🦋˚。⋆。
My sin is....a spoonful of poison.
William: "Writing down my sins as a fairy tale master----"
William: "If you want to judge me for my sins, you can stab me with this knife."
William: "I accept your absolution with open arms."
William Rex. the treacherous King of Self-Righteousness.
His singing whispers drove me all crazy.
.........
William: "You have a habit of taking people's feelings into consideration, but you try to push your own feelings into the background."
William: "It doesn't seem like it's because I was the main killer."
William: ".....Why are you hiding it?"
(Why.....? I don't know...why?)
(But...I just..)
(I feel like I shouldn't....voice my heart as it is)
..........
He sees through my heart with his bright red eyes and invites desire.
Even the voice of my heart which had been pressed down deep suffocates me as I slept.
William: "You wanna play with me..."
William: "You got some nerve, MC?"
William: "My eyes weren't deceiving me."
William: "You are noble, greedy....gentle, and kind."
.........
His love, which is neither a medicine nor poison, poured out like spring rain.
The tightly guarded heart is freed and unleashed.
"It's too dangerous to fall in love"----Even after knowing that.
My heart which was beginning to fray, couldn't stop....seeking out for him.
MC: "W-When I'm with you.....I...I can't be me..."
MC: "I wasn't the kind person who would ...who would do something like that...."
William: "....Is that a 'good thing'? Or is it 'bad'?"
MC: "...I don't know....."
MC: "I don't understand....please tell me...."
With my eyes, with my ears, with my skin....I feel him and my heart is reborn.
His 'evil' and his 'destiny'---until the true identity is confronted.
...........
(This is his sin. The price he bears in order to protect those he loves)
(William has been guilty of this sin.....many many times)
William: "Whatever the purpose, there is no righteousness in the act of taking a human life. It is a trampling on dignity and a permanent 'taking away' of freedom."
William: "Sin is a sin."
...............
I vacillate between good and evil and my hesitation keeps me on my toes.
MC: "Does that mean...William himself will also die in a way that gives him a 'fear of destruction'....?"
William: "Hm? Oh, that's right. That's the right interpretation."
William: "As much as possible, as cruel as the evil I've judged."
William: "My life is dedicated to my evil. I will continue to be as evil as I want to be."
William: "Until the end of the line comes to cut off my head."
He is an 'evil' person who sincerely desires a destiny of destruction.
............
Even if I give up my unfulfilled love for everyday life and give it my all....what awaits me at the end of it is not a happy ending.
And as if to mock me in my struggle, the fate of doom crept up on me....
He just lets me go, so selfishly, so easily, so cruelly kind.
William: "Well, then again, poor little Robin."
William: "I wish you all the happiness in the world ahead."
MC: "No..I don't want that wish....William..wait..!!"
A story about 'justice' wielding a blade and trying to destroy 'evil'
If this is a fairy tale, then surely it is a foolish mistake to stand in front of that blade.
.............
Nevertheless-----
(If you call William evil and thrust your sword at him)
(Whether the other party is righteous or evil, whether it's the end he wants....I)
William: "My Robin. Answer my curtain call."
William: "When you wake up. I will offer you my evil."
Yes, I want...
Love is the evilest sin and punishment.
OMG I just found your blog and damn I'm in love with your writing.
Would it be ok if I asked for some Witcher headcananons?
I would love to have some for Gerald as a father, (but just imagine Ciri didn't exist). So Gerlad found this girl, whose family was killed by a monster, and he took her with him and slowly became her father. So some head cannons about Gerald being a Dad.
I'd appreciate it, sending lots of love your way.
Re.: Hey, THANK YOU SO MUCH! And also thanks for the request, I loved writing it, and hope it's what you wanted.
Headcanons - The Witcher
summary: Geralt as a Father
(added: character art, what they would say to them, or about them)
Tumblr media
Father-Daughter Bond: Geralt sees her as his own daughter, and their bond is unbreakable. He may not be the most expressive person, but his love for her is evident in the little things he does. He doesn't hesitate to show his affection through his actions, even if he doesn't always say it out loud.
A Loving Home: The other witchers, initially skeptical of her presence, have all become like uncles to her. Vesemir, in particular, has a soft spot for her and is more like a granddad figure, regaling her with stories of the past.
Protective Dad: Geralt is extremely protective of her. He watches over her like a hawk, especially when they're in unfamiliar places. If he senses any danger, he's quick to position himself between her and the threat, a silent promise that he'll keep her safe.
"I know I can be overprotective, but it's only because I care about you so much. I just want to make sure you're safe and happy." "No matter how old you get, you'll always be my little girl. And I'll always be here to look out for you, no matter what."
Teaching Moments: He takes every opportunity to teach her valuable skills. Whether it's showing her how to properly wield a sword, start a fire, or track a monster, he is patient and thorough in his instruction. He knows that these skills could be essential for her survival one day.
"I've taught her everything I know, but she's taught me even more about what it means to be a father."
Fishing Lessons: One of their favorite pastimes is fishing. Geralt patiently teaches his daughter to fish using her bare hands.
Magic Lessons: Geralt, recognizing her potential, has enlisted the help of Triss or Yennefer to teach his daughter magic.
Nightmares and Comfort: Geralt always knows when she has nightmares, even if she tries to hide them. When she wakes up in a cold sweat, he's there to comfort her. He holds her close, whispering soothing words and stroking her hair until she can fall back asleep, feeling safe in his arms. However, sometimes, words are not necessary. Geralt will sit by her side in silence, offering his comforting presence. His strong, reassuring presence alone is enough to ease her fears.
"Don't ever forget that you can come to me with anything, whether it's a nightmare or a problem you're facing. I'll always be here for you."
Cuddles and Reassurance: Whenever she can't sleep, Geralt lets her rest on his chest. His slow, steady witcher heartbeat acts as a lullaby, calming her nerves. He often murmurs stories of their adventures, reminding her that she's never alone as long as he's around.
Unspoken Understanding: Geralt and his daughter have an unspoken understanding of each other's emotions and needs. They can communicate without words, knowing when the other needs space, comfort, or a listening ear.
Protective Stares: When they're out in public, Geralt's protective instincts kick in. He'll give anyone who looks at her a stern, warning glare, ensuring they keep their distance. She often teases him about being an overprotective dad, but secretly, she appreciates it. However he'll always observe anyone who gets too close to his daughter, especially young men who may be interested in her romantically. He watches them like a hawk and isn't afraid to make his presence known if he feels they're crossing boundaries.
Special Nicknames: Geralt has a soft spot for calling her by special nicknames, like "Little Wolf". These names are his way of showing affection without having to say the words out.
Inside Jokes: They share a ton of inside jokes from their adventures together. These jokes often involve specific monsters, places they've been, or humorous situations they've found themselves in. They can exchange a knowing glance and burst into laughter while others look on in confusion.
For instance, they might exchange a knowing glance and say: "Well, it's not another cursed Djinn, at least."
Grooming Ritual: Just as wolves in a pack groom each other as a sign of care and affection, Geralt has a ritual of carefully checking her equipment, for example ensuring her sword is sharp...
Hugs with Heart: Geralt's hugs may not be frequent, but when he does embrace her, it's full of warmth and love. He squeezes her gently, and it's a silent reassurance that no matter what challenges they face, they'll always have each other. OR It's a strong, one-armed embrace that speaks volumes about his affection and protection.
Nurturing Nature: Geralt may not be the most nurturing person, but when she is feeling unwell or has had a rough day, he surprises her with simple comforts like a warm meal, a cozy blanket, or a soothing cup of tea. He does these things quietly, without drawing attention to them.
Words of Encouragement: Whenever his daughter faces a challenge, Geralt is there to offer words of encouragement. He believes in her abilities and constantly reminds her that she's more than capable of handling whatever comes her way.
"Remember, it's okay to ask for help when you need it. You don't have to carry everything on your own shoulders."
The "Real Daughter" Comment: If anyone were foolish enough to suggest that she isn't his real daughter, Geralt's response would be swift and stern. He'd shut down such remarks with a single cold look and a firm, "She's my daughter, and that's all that matters."
"I've raised her, protected her, and loved her since she was just a frightened child. That makes her my daughter, no matter what anyone says."
The Origin Question: If she were to ask about her origins, Geralt would sit her down and explain the circumstances of how he found her. He'd emphasize that it doesn't matter where she came from; what matters is the family they've become and the love they share.
"You're my family, Little Wolf. Blood doesn't make family; the bonds we forge do." "No matter where life takes you, always know that you have a home here at Kaer Morhen, and you have a family who loves you."
Proud Dad Moments: Geralt is incredibly proud of her talents, whether it's her proficiency in combat or her mastery of magic. He doesn't shy away from expressing his pride when she accomplishes something remarkable, even if it's just a simple, approving nod.
Shared Secrets: They have a few secrets that only they know, like a hidden spot in Kaer Morhen where they go to stargaze.
For the Kirby OC ask:
🍨🔮💜🕰️
for Chiffon, Little Nova, and Beamee!
🍨 (Ice Cream) - The Invader Armour undergoes a drastic transformation depending on its pilot. If they were to wield it, what appearance would their mech take on? What abilities would it have?
Funnily enough, in case of Beamee this is canon! Since Robo (Kirby's Robobot Armor) was rescued and repaired by Tabitha post-KPR, Beamee often ends up piloting it as a means of protection (since like that she will be guarded by it). It switches to Beam Mode variant when Beamee is piloting it, with a difference that Beam works like an electric whip rather than a big projectile.
For Chiffon, it would be a variation of Sword Mode, with laser blades being replaced with long protractable steel needle more suitable for stabbing than slashing on one hand, and a grapple gun on the other.
For Lil Nova... the only thing that'd change from Kirby's would be color - light, slightly iridescent blue instead of pink. It may have stars decorations, too.
🔮 (Crystal Ball) - Out of all the treasures in the Great Cave Offensive, Kirby is letting your OC pick one from his stash to keep! Which one do they pick, and why?
For Beamee, it's most likely to be this:
Tumblr media
with the justification that it can be made into either a decoration on clothing or a pretty jewelry! Beamee is a crafter above all else.
For Chiffon, it would be this:
Tumblr media
and I'd imagine Kirby would be more than happy to gift it to his little princess <3
For Nova, they're drawn to this:
Tumblr media
They can't summon their own Warp Star very well yet, so this would work as somewhat of a "magic feather" for them. (No, Tiff doesn't do it for them this time. Summoning Warp Star in my kirbyverse is Astral-specific spell, and is usually taught by either members of their constellation or from parent to child, and is very rarely given to outsiders.)
💜 (Purple Heart) - If they were corrupted by the Jamba Heart, which negative traits of theirs would be amplified?
For Beamee - insecurity. feeling of alienation. she'd most likely to become hostile to everyone, not truly believing she belongs anywhere. she'd also most likely to cause herself debilitating migraines, since she'd rely more on her half-working Beam than anything else.
For Chiffon - bravery shifting into foolhardiness. she will try fighting things she has no business fighting (I'm talking like things of a Final Boss threat caliber), with no plan or backup. and she will fight YOU if you try to stop her, bc she will also get uncooperative and uncontrollable.
For Nova, Jamba Hearts would actually be DETRIMENTAL. It's the second closest thing to triggering their core memory, after all, so Nova should be kept as far away from magic as such as possible - at least until they're old enough to resist it on their own.
🕰️ (Clock) - What would a Dreamy Gear version of them look like? What sort of accessories would they have? What kind of role do they play?
iiiiiii am going to leave this question unanswered for now bc that would require me to actually yknow. design shit and braincell is currently not braincelling
that and i still haven't read Dreamy Gear novel so i don't know anything about the setting qwq
Yandere Senjuro Rengoku Gemstone Prompts.
[Romatic! Aged Up AU!]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Art not mine...
Alexandrite- what brings the yandere the most joy?
It depends on if it's their earlier days Pre-Kyojuro's death or post. If it is before his death, Senjuro's favorite thing was to spend his time watching you train, eat, and goof off with him and/or his big brother. His favorite thing is your smile. If it is post Mugen Train Arc... His favorite thing is you playing along with his delusions. Aka, call him Kyojuro, tell him you're proud that he gave up on being a Demon Slayer so he could spend time with his wife and father. Never ever ever bring up the reality that he isn't Kyojuro and Kyojuro is dead, Ever.
Angelite- how calm is the yandere and what aggravates them?
Senjuro is a worshiper type yandere and very calm due to this.
However, after Kyojuro Dies he spirls down into a slew of delusions. He changes from your calm and very manageable yandere to an overly protective and possessive yandere solely due to his delusions. As everyone is trying to yank him from his created happy world.
In this happy little fantasy world he created. He is Kyojuro, and he fell in love with his tsugoku Y/N. However after realizing that while they're in the Demon Slayer Corp they couldn't be together the two of them decided to retire early get married and begin there own family while watching over his alcoholic father. Where is Senjuro in his own little delusions? Good question! Bringing up Senjuro usually will cause him to spiral into aggression and confusion.
Aventurine- does the yandere's plans run smoothly or are there obstacles that get in the way?
Hahaha hahaha yeah no. His entire plan was completely uprooted and completely altered/removed once Kyojuro died. His whole plan was to watch from the side-lines as his brother, whom he put on this god level pedestal, marry and have children with a woman he also put on that same level of pedestal. So once his brother died, his psych was afraid of losing two gods instead of just one. It began with him being consciously aware that he wasn't actually Kyojuro and only acting like him to keep you from leaving him. But it delved deeper. Until where it is now...
Black Tourmaline- does the yandere want to protect darling or harm them?
Senjuro wants more than anything to protect you but he knows he isn't going to be able to with him not being able to do Flame Breathing nor wield a sword like his brother could. 'Kyojuro' is the same wanting to protect you from everything in the world. But the difference is that 'Kyojuro' is strong enough to do so. [How is this possible physically? Well it was inside him all along. The real Kyojuro would almost be proud.] 'Kyojuro' isn't above corporal punishments. Keep bring up Senjuro or keep trying to pull him from his delusions and expect to be bent over his lap and spanked with his belt.
Blue Lace Agate- how truthful is the yandere?
To a man who doesn't even know where the real world begins and his fantasies end I don't know if he is able to be truthful. Simply because he doesn't know what is truthful. However 'Kyojuro' will always tell you how he feels about every little microscopic thing. The scary bits of his identity crisis is that he swears up and down to having memories he physically can't have [because the didnt exist]. Such as remembering when his mother went through Kankagari and she had problems with bloody noeses.
Carnelian- how does the yandere deal with their darlings strong will?
Which ones is stronger his delusions or her will? If it's the later he might not know what to do and go to his father for advice. Who honestly has no idea what his son is talking about and blow him off. He might try to reach out to the 'other' Hashira's for advice but none of them humor the crazy ramblings of the young man. After no one offering him advice he might whip out his hidden trump card drugs. When 'Kyojuro' was Senjuro he took care of any wounds his brother would get as well as taking care of his own. He also took multiple months of Kakushi/EMT training courses. In a drugged out state Y/N definitely won't put up as much of a fight about 'Kyojuro''s presence.
Charoite- how does the yandere learn more about darling?
Senjuro just asks. "Y/N, I am going to begin cooking lunch for you and brother what is your favorite foods?" "Hey, Y/N, What Is your favorite color? I'm just curious is all... no reason!" "Y/N-san, do you have any siblings? I'm just curious I'm sorry!"
The worst part of it is that before Kyojuro's Death he was very blind to his brothers strangeness/noesiness. "Senjuro is annoying you with questions you say? I apologize my brother is a naturally curious boy I'm sure he ment no harm."
How does 'Kyojuro' know so much about you? "A husband should know his wife like the back of his hand." Honsetly he doesn't even know...
Chrysoprase- how does the yandere deal with heartbreak?
He is delusional! De-lu-sion-allll!!! You can't reject him because your rejection won't sink in, and he will probably spank you for attempts to reject his reality. "A wife shouldn't speak like that to her husband." If you run away from him... he'll blanket burrito and scream for hours until his vocal cords are destroyed. Then he'll hit the bottle... but he is doinging because in his delusional reality, you were killed by a demon... he would say he is ashamed he a former Hashira allowed a Demon to take his darling wife from him. So no, he isn't going back to being Senjuro just because you're gone... if he saw you after he had already come to the conclusion you were dead. He would just start screaming and holding his head as he was trying to contemplate how this would have happened. He would either come to the conclusion that you are a ghost and he had to join you in the afterlife. Or the conclusion that you are a Demon, he would report it to the Slayer Corps, then commit Seppuku because as a hashira, he let his wife become a demon. who wouldn't even come out to investigate because they see Senjuro as the boy who cried wolf. If you got sick and died... and he watched you die he would just like the other scenario to become an alcoholic. If you two have children... you might notice that he is reliving his life through his son...
Diamond- what does the yandere want from their ideal darling?
Her Obedience. Her Love. Her Loyalty. Her Devotion. Her Smile.
Emerald- how does the yandere show their love?
His love language is physical affection and verbal affection. He also is big into gift giving but he doesn't have the former Hashira pension that his father has or brother would have. He doesn't really question why he doesn't have the money he thinks he should have because he assumes that due to his early retirement dequalified him for it.
Garnet- what is the yandere's ideal future with darling?
He wants the American Dream. He believes he is a retired hero who deserves an obedience and beautiful loving wife and two children.
Kunzite- is the yandere's motivations love, lust or something else?
Love and Delusions.
Lapis Lazuli- is the yandere controling or manipulative?
He is as controlling as one would expect from a man from the 1912/1920's. He doesn't mean to be manipulative... he's too Delusional for that...
Moonstone- are there things that the yandere will hide from darling at all costs?
So... don't judge him, but... when Kyojuro first died, Senjuro began eating and feeding you his ashes... also, the gem in your wedding ring is actually him.... oh, and that glass Olisbos he uses on you when you're being sexually punished. Yeah, that's actually.... /he even made a tasteless joke about it. While spanking you he puts the Olisbos in your womanhood while saying, "No no no y/n Kyojuro isn't gone. Actually he's closer to you than he's ever been."
Opal- what makes the yandere tick?
Calling him Senjuro. Telling him he isn't Kyojuro. That Kyojuro is gone. You don't love him. He'd get angry and spank you.
Sapphire- does the yandere believe that they are the one that darling should praise or do the believe that darling deserves theirs?
Senjuro is a worshiper. But 'Kyojuro' wants to be praised not worshipped. But like head pats and snuggles. He wants you to thank him for giving up his position as Hashira to br with you.
Rhodonite- does the yandere want kids and would they force darling into having them?
Absolutely! At least Two. Would upsettedly settle with one but wants two or more. As for force... that's complicated. Because it is the 1912/1920's. And common idea is that a wife is the property of her husband. So yeah he does force himself on you but no he doesn't see it as a bad thing because it's what wife's do for their husband's. Also he is naming his son Senjuro. No matter if you give birth to a Male or a Female...
Unakite- does the yandere have a point of no return or will they eventually realize how dire the consequences of their actions?
See the heartbroken response.
CYRUS - VOICE COLLECTION
"I need more training than anyone else…I'm not a strong knight by any means…"
"……Are you having fun with me? Why are you laughing….That was a serious question….You're an odd one…"
"I can't forget the vase I saw the other day. The shape, color, and texture….Everything about it was supreme."
"I can't think of anything to talk about…Can you pick a topic?"
"There are still things to protect."
"I have to become stronger."
"Your dedication and support of the Meisters is heartwarming to see. I am so glad that you were the one who landed the job as guild keeper."
"You make me feel strangely empowered…I want to protect everything with this power…I want to protect you too…"
"I do not wish to fight needlessly, however, I will continue to wield my sword if it is to protect you and my comrades."
"You have courage and a strong heart. As a fellow member of the Order, I look forward to working with you again in the future."
"I'm afraid my presence here will put a damper on the festive atmosphere. But, I will do my duty to the best of my ability."
"I want to protect your carefree smile."
"Watch your step when you get out of the carriage."
"Nobody is ever going to hurt you."
"Gather round, guardians of the moon. My friends will not be harmed."
"….No. I'm not angry. This is how I always am."
"If it's convenient for you, invite me again."
"I just finished my mission. I think I can take it easy for a little while."
"Are you not interested in hearing about my missions?"
"If that's not what you want to hear it's fine. I don't know what else to talk about."
"…..Why are you staring at me?"
"When I'm being watched, I feel uneasy…"
"Is there something you want me to do? I'm sorry, I'm not very good at guessing."
"You keep staring at my face, is there something funny about it?"
"When we were little, Emilio and I used to have staring contests. …I miss doing that."
"What's up? Did you just call for me?"
"No, I wasn't ignoring you…I was just waiting for you to tell me your request."
"You don't have to call me that many times. I heard you the first time."
"…Sorry. I don't know what you're looking for…"
"If you want someone to talk to, you should find someone else."
"……………….?"
"I usually walk alone. It feels strange to walk with someone else like this."
"You're having a good time with me? How strange…"
"It's nice to spend time like this with you once in a while."
"After taking a break I always train twice as hard."
"How do I spend my time off? I read a lot of novels."
"When I have time off I try to keep up with my training. I'm still a work in progress."
"Hm…When I have time off I clean my room and polish my vases."
"Why are you asking me what I like to do with my free time? No, I'm not offended…I was just genuinely curious."
"You want to know more about me? ……..What an odd one."
"If you don't mind, I'd like to know what you do with your free time."
"Vases are great. You can see the life of the person who owned it, or the time period, just by looking at their shape and color."
"Vases…!? Yes, I like them a lot. They don't have to be expensive. I can spend all day looking at them…"
"You're talking about vases? You're interested in them too? That's…Nice to hear for a change."
"I'm sorry…I talked about vases for a long time…Was it boring?"
"You want to hear more…? Are you sure…?"
"Okay, then let's talk. I am particularly fond of this vase. It is hundreds of years old…"
"You want me to teach you self-defense? I feel like there's someone else who would be more qualified."
"If you encounter a dangerous situation, you should first consider running away."
"I'll play the role of the thug, you deal with me."
"When your arm is grabbed, you can easily escape by twisting your elbow like this."
"Okay, how would you react if someone grabbed you from behind like this? ….Why is your face getting red…?"
"Emma…? Why are you suddenly so quiet…?"
"I see you're working late…Don't work too hard, okay?"
"Are you having conversations with Emilio like this…? No, I'm not upset, I'm just curious."
"How many times have we gone out like this…?"
"Give me your hand, Emma. If we hold them together like this, I'm sure we won't lose each other."
"I really don't want to go home, but I probably should…"
"Spending time with you is so peaceful…I think I'm gonna let this time get the better of me."
"Why are you holding my hand…? No, it's not that I don't like it, I was simply surprised."
"Your hands are so small…They're likely to break if I apply too much pressure, so I'll be careful."
"I'm a little worried about hurting your hand."
"All I want is to protect you and my friends."
"It's strange…When you're next to me, I feel so peaceful."
"Do I look tired? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. I'll be fine."
"Even when I don't speak, you seem to understand me."
"I want to protect you from all dangers."
"Rely on me whenever you are in pain."
"Are you cold? I can lend you my jacket."
"…You haven't let go of me this whole time. No…I don't mind."
"I feel like I'm keeping you to myself…It makes me feel a little guilty."
"I'm not good at talking, but when I'm with you I can't seem to keep my mouth shut."
"This sword was given to me by my father. It's called the Demon Sword, it cuts through all things."
"I want to use it to protect, not to hurt."
"Aren't you afraid of my sword? Everyone around here is afraid of it, but not you. You're an odd one.
"If I were Emilio I would be able to escort you effortlessly…But…"
"Your eyes look straight through me and never fear me…"
"You got me a gift for my birthday? It's a great honor."
(gift like) "This is my favorite…I'll accept it gratefully."
(gift normal) "The real pleasure of gift giving is that you get something you wouldn't choose for yourself."
(gift dislike) "I…Don't know what to do with something like this…But you gave it to me…So, thanks…"
"I was on a mission the other day and came across a shop and found this. Thought you might like it."
EMILIO : Cyrus, with me as the Sun Knight and you as the Moon Knight, let's make sure to fulfill our missions. CYRUS : Yes…I'll keep training so I can catch up to you, brother.
EMILIO : I'll pave the way! CYRUS : Emilio…Don't do anything rash
EMILIO : Cyrus, thanks for your help. CYRUS : Oh, uh….You too…
"Cool... except for the fact that Rhodes' flashback showed how badly things can go when individuals are calling the shots according to their own morals, preferences, and needs, rather than having a system to fall back on." That is the opposite of what Rhodes problems were, Rhodes issue was choosing to be complacent in a corrupt system instead of trying to do more.
You mean do more than tracking down a child who stole your weapon, retrieving it peacefully, spending years of your life secretly training her in the hope that she'll have better options once she comes of age, and then attempting to bring her in after she murdered three people only to die for your efforts?
I'm of the opinion that Rhodes did a lot. It's really easy to point fingers and say he should have done something more/done it better while standing on the far side of events: he should have gotten Cinder away, raised her himself, left her elsewhere, etc. all with the surety that nothing worse would possibly happen than what we ended up with because obviously a fans' imaginings of this fictional world is instantly fact. There's no possible way Rhodes would have been arrested for kidnapping a kid, or didn't have the means to raise a child himself, or that Cinder wouldn't have starved/been eaten by grimm/something equally horrific if he'd just gotten her away and left her somewhere else. Rhodes, as an individual, decided based on his own morals (being a huntsmen), his preferences (doesn't appear to want/be capable of raising Cinder), and needs (keep their training on the down low) how to handle the situation... and, as seen, things ended very badly.
To my mind, the solution here is not to say, "Rhodes didn't do enough. How dare this one man fail so spectacularly. Obviously he should have foreseen every possible outcome and chosen the route that didn't end in death. Practical concerns? The law? His needs? Cinder's? A non-omniscient perspective? None of that matters! He should have just tried harder."
The solution is to ask, "Why doesn't Remnant have a version of child protective services so that one man, whose profession it is to kill monsters, is not suddenly responsible for an abused child when she randomly steals from him one night?"
I'm not saying our own systems are perfect—far, FAR from it—but be real for a second: if you came across a presumably abused kid in a hotel, what are you going to do? Take it upon yourself to change their life from the ground up... or are you going to call someone who's part of a system capable of handling that? And if that system doesn't exist and you nevertheless try something that ends in your death, how are you going to feel if the response to that is a dismissive, "Well, you should have done more."
Outside of his responsibility as a human being, Rhodes didn't have to do anything. But he did. The fact that things went south is largely a failing of his society. The specific mistakes he made, like giving Cinder a sword, directly connect back to that Remnant culture, a perspective where giving children weaponry is seen as normal and inconsequential as giving them popsicles. This is the world where Ruby was wielding "one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed" as a pre-teen, where the whole world thought they saw Yang shatter Mercury's leg and then shrugged it off, where kids are capable of stealing military property, and the first thing Ozpin does after getting Oscar away from home is teach him how to throw a proper punch. In Remnant, teaching kids how to defend themselves is a common recreation/therapy/career trajectory, even when it ends in horrific outcomes. Given all that, we can't look at Rhode's very logical decision of, "Well, I don't know what else to do with this kid, so I guess I'll teach her my trade so she'll have a way to escape later. Now, after years of training, I trust her enough to give her a weapon of her own, just like all the Signal kids are getting right about now. Oh no, now she's killing people" and go, "Actually, he didn't do enough because we know it ends badly. The morality of these decisions is based solely on what outcomes we end up with, never mind that the character obviously can't see the future."
may I request an in depth analysis of:
Magma Whip Candlestick
Rogier’s Rapier, with special reference to affinities and weapon arts that aren’t dex or int related
I will answer this one but please one at a time.
Magma Whip Candlestick is a whip, and whips are good. You can't really go wrong with it. It's good dual-wielded, it's good in your offhand. But the damage is worse than the analogous Giant's Red Braid, and the weapon is a bit shorter as well. However, it makes up for it with it's Ash of War which is perfect area denial, and can even be used as a nuclear option in an invasion scenario.
The thing about this ash is that you can hold it for as much as your stamina bar/mind bar allows. When your opponent is within range, you can just keep hitting, which makes it extremely useful when your enemies are cornered. On top of that, the magma on the floor protects you from retaliation if you whiff. And don't get fooled, that Magma is not like your Magma Sorcery magma, that magma deals considerable damage you can't really ignore and tank through.
The drawback is the start-up animation. The initial swing of the Sea of Magma is kinda slow and doesn't cover a lot of area. It's the next hit that has a lot of range, but by that time the opponent has all the time in the world to retreat. That's why using the ash is the most useful for trades and cornered opponents. You can't really use it out of neutral and it doesn't combo with anything really.
In PVE it's a great source of area denial. If you have a large enemy who would get hit by numerous magma splashes, or a group of weaker enemies, it's really good to just slap away at them with the Sea of Magma. It's both fun and safe.
7.5/10 weapon
Rogier's Rapier is a thrusting sword, and thrusting swords are great. They're good in mainhand and offhand, they're great two-handed, they are quick and really effective. Rogier's Rapier range isn't bad, but it's no Cleanrot, and the damage doesn't compensate for it. What we're really using it for is the heavy attack: a really quick double-hit. More often than not, if a weapon has a fancy-shamncy heavy attack, it's probably trash in PvP. That is not the case for Rogier's Rapier. It's GOOD and I mean "you can literally replace the regular r1" good. It breaks poise really efficiently, staggering even the most poised-up opponents after patch 1.07. my favourite thing to do is to use it with physical affinities, because of the strong status build-up potential. Cold, Poison and Bleed are all ready good as well for the same reason. The particular ash of war doesn't really matter that much, though. When I use the rapier I prefer to rely on the weapon moveset itself, and the ash of war is just a nice addition. HOWEVER.
A nice touch about it is the 110 crit modifier, which makes Quickstep really really good. It has good synergy with this weapon in particular. Backstab fishing requires a lot of skill and pressure, but rogier's Rapier really rewards it well. On top of that, the strong attack is extremely good as a wake-up tool. If you time it right, at least one hit will land, which is all it takes after a crit with this weapon. Pair it with the Dagger Talisman and you got yourself a crit machine.
I think it's a weapon with a very high skill ceiling. It's good, and you might just put in the effort to learn it. It's not good for beginners, though. If you're new to pvp, use the cleanrot.
8.5/10 weapon
Kingdom's Sword 5 - Queen
Previous | Next
Masterlist
CW: war mention, death mention, injuries mention, sensory deprivation, Harriet is a bit mean (?).
=-=-=-=-=
Time passed but he didn't know how much, he was given water and food two times a day but he wasn't allowed to keep count of it. The rest of the time, he slept. All the fights were finally taking their toll on pain, the nothingness was too agonizing, so sleeping was the best option.
Commander Harriet came from time to time, part of her still thinks he is pretending, that this is all a facade that will fall soon or later, but at least she isn't cruel, she could order him to hurt himself to show he isn't lying, instead, she is playing along with it.
"What is your name," she asked one day during her visits.
"Sword, Ma'am."
"I meant your real name, a person's name," she complained.
"I don't have one anymore, nor do I remember it, Ma'am, I'm a tool, not a person," he answered nonchalantly, making her tsk her tongue and stop asking questions, instead, she said they would solve it in another time.
Sword was inserted between the nothingness again and the sleepness, he could only think of her, remember every single conversation up until then, hoping she could allow him to ask for something. To think freely.
He knows this is too much to ask, that he shouldn't think of anything other than her, but he would ask to take away the food if that's the case, to exchange one right with the other. This was foolish thought; Harriet didn't allow him to ask for things.
"Hey," her voice broke the silence, and he hear his heart beating in anticipation of the talk, the only moment where he was allowed to see and hear, "Are you awake?"
"Yes, Ma'am," he said, voice even as always.
"So look at me," she said as always, and he happily obeyed. Meeting her serious expression as her eyes tracked him whole, "We'll enter the palace later today. Her majesty demanded to see you," she said, waiting for any reaction he might have.
No orders, no questions; no reaction.
The queen doesn't matter, even his link to his late queen was broken with her death, he doesn't care about titles, he only cares about Commander Harriet, and the more she lets him into the nothing more he thinks of her.
Harriet was looking down at him, "You won't live long," she started, he knew this already, "there are many who hate you and your death will bring hope to many people. It's impressive that you will live long enough to meet her majesty," Commander crouched down in front of the expressionless man, "You are too dangerous to live, don't you agree?"
"No, Ma'am," he answered with the same calm immediatism that always.
Harriet narrowed her eyes at that, "Do you have any idea of how much suffering you caused? The blood on your hands is not only from the ones that died, but also from the bleeding heart of the ones that held them dear, and still, you disagree. Explain, how come you are not dangerous?"
"I'm nothing but a tool, Ma'am; a sharp blade that can't cause harm by itself, I'm only dangerous if the one who wields me so see fit, right now, I'm only dangerous if you want me to," he said, carefully picking up his words, he can only talk while answering the question, he has to take the opportunity.
"Someone who blindly follows orders is just as dangerous, in truth, you are more dangerous if that's the case. But I'm not here to debate whether you are not dangerous, there is another thing I'm curious about, tell me, do you wish to live?"
For a second, Sword's eyes widened in surprise at the unexpected question he quickly went back to the blank expression as always before answering, "I dare not wish such a deep thing, Ma'am."
"So you want to die?" She asked curiously.
"I dare not to wish such a deep thing, Ma'am."
Harriet sighed, raising his chin, allowing him to feel the cold metal glove against his skin, "Is that your way to protect yourself? Not wishing for things you can't control?"
"... I don't know, Ma'am," he said in a low voice. You can order me to wish, Ma'am, although I don't know what would happen if you did.
Harriet tilted her head a bit, "I wish I could talk to you for longer, but we don't have much time, still, tell one more thing, why do you obey me, specifically? I wondered about it by myself but I got no conclusive answer."
You wondered by yourself? You truly thought about me? You also want to talk to me, Ma'am? "I also don't know, Ma'am."
"You must have some guesses, tell me."
"I thought it was because you killed the late queen but I don't think so anymore, in the first minutes after her death I was completely free, I know I was, but you, somehow, slowly took power over me." And your power only increases with time.
"So I am for you, the one who robbed your freedom? That's odd, I'm more confused now, but I'm relieved that said 'power' can't be passed by death alone," Commander said, getting up, "Her majesty wants to own you, and killing me is a cheap price if this means to own such a dangerous person."
Own me? Kill you? Why are you wasting your words by telling me this?
"One last thing," Harriet said turning away, "When in the presence of her majesty do not obey her words, understood? Don't worry, you are my responsibility and I won't allow her to punish you for this."
"Yes, Ma'am," he said, I would obey even if this means to be punished, Ma'am.
Alright, I think I've had enough time to process...
But not enough time to get over it!
WELCOME TO SQUAB'S "HOW I THINK ROTT SHOULD HAVE GONE DOWN"
Tumblr media
I will be breaking this down and organizing somewhat by character, then probably writing a whole new post to bring it all together as a plot.
Now, I won't be taking every single bad choice out. I'm going to try and justify a few "creative choices" they make by actually giving them weight.
Before we begin, I get a lot of what I'm putting in here will absolutely not fit in a 2 hour movie. But whatever. Someday, 4 hour movies with an intermission will come back in style...
Jim
As the hero with the most seasons, Jim is the one we know the most. We've seen a lot of highs and lows for this poor boy, but we have already seen him accept himself as the Trollhunter, with or without the amulet. Giving him an identity crisis is not the worst plotline, but it is just rehashing an old plotline we already got resolved if it's about being the Trollhunter.
Fix: Let his identity crisis be about being a leader.
For a lot of his biggest moments, he was alone. Against Bular on the bridge, looking for Enrique in the Darklands, and even his fight against Angor Rot and Gunmar. But more than that, he was in the action, fighting his heart out.
It would be good to see how he does OUTSIDE the battle. Let everyone be hesitant about him joining the fight, especially since he is human again and doesn't have any protection. Push him into being a commander rather than a warrior.
This doesn't mean that's where he'll stay. Jim tend to be a very self-sacrificing character. He'd rather get hurt or even give up his own life to protect others. So show how upset he is about it. Let him hate staying behind as his friends leave for battle with the possibility of never coming back. Let him make the mistake of getting antsy and rushing into battle when things start going wrong, only to make it worse.
Let Jim be the reason some of his friends die.
Then let him mourn for more than a millisecond on them. (*coughcough*Nomura and Strickler*coughcough*)
Give him a moment where he thinks his hero days are over. Where he has to retire because even if his heart is in the right place, his ability cannot keep up.
But he can't even entertain the idea of not helping with the world ending. Which is when he can be presented the finished amulet by Blinky, or his mom, or it comes to him as he runs to the battle. He can use it to summon Excalibur, and join his friends.
Okay and this is a side-note, but how cool would it have been if they utilized the fact that Jim had a shard of Excalibur in his heart. I don't care what for, but just use it as a reminder that he was controlled and corrupted by it for a while.
But then again, it might not have been a piece of Excalibur itself, and just some controlling doo-hickey that Arthur had.
Soooooo....let's talk about Excalibur.
It was interesting enough when we left Wizards with Jim not being able to pull the sword. It left tension and a bit of mystery.
But here's the problem...Why is Excalibur important? Because it's a legendary sword from 900 years ago? Because it was wielded by an angry king who tried to kill all magical creatures, then allied with them, then tried to destroy the world? We never get a reason why anyone should pull it, other than Douxie said someone needs to wield it.
Also, why is it that it can be pulled only when Jim's friends touch the dang rock? Not even the sword itself, mind you. The freaking rock it's stuck in. The rock wasn't magical. The sword was. Why? Why why why?
Also, if the stone was that easy to take out of the hilt, there's no reason they needed to take it out of the non-magical rock in the first place. THE HILT WAS NOT IN THE STUPID ROCK.
Fix: Make Excalibur the only thing strong enough to kill a member of the Arcane Order (besides another member). It might be a little cliche, but there are worse things (as we have experienced...). This would also give the goal of each battle with the titans a different directive. Instead of trying to stop, just try to slow down enough until they have Excalibur. You can be creative in different tactics of slowing something down rather than trying to destroy it altogether. Such as tripping it, tearing it apart even if it regenerates, trying to distract them and keep them away from Arcadia.
Next: take the dang gem from the sword before it gets pulled out of its NON-MAGICAL ROCK (no, I will not get over this...)
Then, they can try to build the amulet using the power of the stone.
Which leads me to the next part: the Amulet.
While I like the idea of the amulet not working a few times, I think they didn't have enough trial-and-error with it. They just kinda tossed it to Jim saying "it's done, if it don't work it's your fault."
But here's the thing. I LOVE the idea of Krel trying to build it. In 3Below he was always the one trying to fix Mother, and he designed the wormhole to Akiridion 5, he would definitely be the one volunteering to make an impossible amulet.
Buuuuuut...
The original Daylight Amulet was designed to be constructed by magic, something that is foreign to Krel. Let him have failed attempts, like how his prototype wormhole didn't work for a long time. Let him build his versions that may work somewhat, but fail in other aspects. Like maybe the armor won't deactivate. Or it just completely doesn't work. Or it burns to wear it. The possibilities for failure are endless.
Let Douxie be a part of the process too. He WAS one of the wizards to help make the original after all. He would have knowledge about it that others wouldn't.
The lastly, let Blinky be a part of the process too. He could be prideful on the fact that he trained Trollhunters including Jim, and he knows how it should work.
With an alien, a wizard, and a troll working on it together, then it finally comes together. Give it a sense of poetic synergy.
Also, this is very nitpicky, but change the Incantation to: "For the Good of All, Excalibur is mine to command."
Because...he never uses Daylight.
He uses Excalibur...
Daylight wasn't the amulet.
It was the sword manifested from the amulet.
But whatever. Again, this is a nitpick.
Let's move onto the Kronisphere.
Ho boy.
As soon as my husband and I heard the word "Kronisphere," we knew we were in for some time travel.
Now time travel is not new in this universe, it happened in 3Below and also was the main part of Wizards. (And technically in "Unbecoming" but I always saw that as more of a vision than actual time travel.)
But here's the problem. With every single time we had time travel, it was established that every action has consequences. In "Unbecoming," when Jim gave up the amulet the world ended. In "Daja Vu," every action they took changed a little bit to bring them more information to get out of the time loop. In 3/4 of Wizards, they royally screwed up the timeline and had to fix it.
So in what way does going back in time to the very beginning of this hero's journey help? Any of his actions, no matter how good-intentioned could lead to disaster. Also, he reset every single relationship he had besides his mom and Toby. And even then, his mom and Toby were not the same people at the end as they were in the beginning. People develop and change with every good and bad.
With that being said, I need to insert that I would also change Nari's prophecy a little bit. If she wants to be a cryptic leaf, instead of:
"Trollhunter make ninth configuration. Kronisphere will make right."
Change it to:
"Kronisphere is window. Trollhunter must see."
In this case, I cut the Ninth Configuration nonsense because I'm still bitter about the non-magical rock nonsense.
Okay, I'll explain more later, but now I'm going to try and justify the Kronisphere existing in the story.
Fix: Let the world burn.
Yep, you heard me. Let them fail.
Let the fire titan merge with the Heartstone, let Bellroc win, and let everyone die. (With some of the heroes maybe dying in the process of trying to stop Bellroc, and then the remaining are gone.) bottom line: everyone is dead, the world is being reset in flames.
All are gone.
Except for one person: Jim.
And you can justify it with the Excalibur amulet, being as powerful as it is, protected him. But now he is all alone. His pixie nightmare came true: everyone he ever cared about his gone. His friends and family crumbles to ash in his hands.
The Kronisphere shows the past, present, and future. Everyone would think Nari's prophecy would mean to look into it to see the future, but it doesn't show anything helpful. Maybe it shows the world burning, but not how to stop it.
But the part where she would say "Trollhunter must see." was not to look into the Kronisphere, but to see everything that leads to their failure, and then use the Kronisphere's time stone as a window to the past to jump back and save the world.
And no, not jump back to the very beginning of Trollhunters.
Just to the beginning of the dang movie so they can finish the fight.
Okay, I am not done with Jim, but I need to talk about other characters...
Toby
Now, the weird retcon at the end of the movie did a lot. But Toby being the Trollhunter at the beginning of everything not only contradicts the idea of the amulet "choosing" a champion, but also a lot of other events.
I'm not gonna get into all of that, I'm just going to say what I would change for his part of the story.
Toby is an interesting character in that he always seemed to go for the support role. He mentions how in his dreams he's a Duke, he shied away from the spotlight at first when they met the Wumpas. But he shined greatly in his role. He was always there to support Jim, even when the situation was dire. They stood together in their battles, even before he got his Warhammer.
For these reasons, I am going to eat my words and say that he should be the Trollhunter.
Now before you crucify me, gimme a sec.
Fix: Jim offers the new amulet to Toby. This is no longer Merlin's choice, as this is not his amulet.
Jim may have been chosen as the first human Trollhunter, but Toby was always the second.
Now, you could write it where Toby becomes the next Trollhunter after the final battle where they win, but I personally would put it before. Let him have his moment, and this time Jim actually chooses to stay behind to be a leader. As the one with all the knowledge of the future, his best position is to direct everyone else and make sure they're where they need to be.
Also I'll put this here since it's related to Toby the most, but I would get rid of the anti-magic gun. If you're going to have something that cancels out magic, why only attempt to use it twice? And why doesn't it work on Jim's armor? Even if it has Akiridion technology in it, it only worked because of Excalibur's (a MAGIC sword) gemstone. It really only served to set up Toby's death, which could be executed many different way, and the anti-magic gun just had too many plot holes.
Claire
They really didn't do much with her, which was kinda disappointing. She was mostly there to be plot device for getting Nari to Skrael.
That's...that's it.
She was no help in the Chinese Trollmarket (which, if you know the place wards against shadow magic, why take her there? Take someone else...). She'd say she was "tapped out" at inconvenient moments to build drama, and was a potted plant for the rest of it.
I would have liked to see her attempting more than just portals in her shadow magic, since she now has a teacher to guide her. Like, creating shadow beasts (like the birds she made on her date with Jim in Wizards), or shadow clones (like what Morgana did when she fought Arthur and then died), or make something new up. But honestly, it's not super important...I guess. I just would've been creative and show she had actually grown in her power.
The jlaire moments in this movie gave me life. They can stay.
With the fixes I've already done, she still probably wouldn't change much. She's a well-rounded character, I don't need to mess that up.
Steve
Alright, time to bite the bullet.
Some may have found it funny, but I was super uncomfortable with Steve's...
uh...
.....
...situation?
It was played like a gag, but I wasn't laughing. It also brought into question how Akiridions reproduce, and it's already weird that an energy-based life form could even reproduce with a biological one. But say it was possible. Fine. Why wouldn't Aja tell him about the 7th kiss long before they shared it? She may have been carefree at times in 3Below, but she was never that irresponsible.
But I'll get to Aja later. We're talking about Steve.
Fix: Steve is the last knight of Camelot.
In the Battle of Killahead Bridge, Lancelot told him to carry on under his banner before dying. I think Steve would take that to heart and take pride in being a knight (even if never really was one.) He'd want to show Aja his cool new armor and maybe even pledge himself to the Akiridion throne.
These moments can still be played as jokes, but without mpreg.
Another headcanon I have is that Steve would see that Jim is no longer a troll, is therefore weaker, and wants to train him up himself. He'd announce himself as Jim's new trainer (despite Blinky being right there and Jim not really needing it). But whenever Jim got hurt, he'd say things like "This is why we needed to do pull-ups!" or something. He can still be comedic relief, just tasteful comedic relief.
Also let him have Toothache. That was like, his one weapon that was uniquely his.
Aja
Take away the pregnancy sub-plot, Aja was a decent character in this movie. She held herself well as a queen, and you can see how she's matured.
And her idea to evacuate Earth was not a bad one. But they really should have built more on that.
If anyone could understand how hard it is to leave your home when it's under attack, it's Aja and Krel. Krel might be more hesitant to leave since he wanted to stay on Earth before, but I think even he would understand how they can make new homes elsewhere.
I was half-expecting her to attempt to evacuate Earth without anyone else's permission. Defy anyone else's plan to save the Earth, and just bring ships to get the people away. I mean, she's a queen, she shouldn't need to wait for orders from anyone. Especially Jim, who she would only know through Toby, as they don't remember meeting in "Daja Vu."
And let her and Krel butt heads on whether to stay and fight, or leave with the evacuation party. They can reflect on their parents' choices, how they left Voltar to be destroyed and how it affected Tronos Madu. Or how Varvatos felt when no one would help him avenge his family.
With the siblings reunited, there's a lot of opportunity for them to talk about what it means to rule, and who they should prioritize.
Eli
Some people like Eli's glow-up, some people don't. I am in the category of those that do, because it honestly fits.
When we saw him in 3Below his voice was changing, and you could hear the puberty squeaks. It makes sense that he would finish going through puberty in the time he was gone.
Something I would change though, is give him more involvement in the fights. Yes, he designed the Gun Robot mecha (which again, some people didn't like but I loved it and I loved how Varvatos was the one controlling it) but afterwards he could have played bigger role than potted plant.
A great way he could have contributed was expanding on the parking drone/video game trick they did in season 2 of 3Below. Eli could control a small fleet of drones to attack or impair the titans. Or even use that technology for Aja's evacuation plan.
Barbara and Strickler
Their engagement was...there.
I think it was used as a device to make Barbara seem more sad about his death, but then she got into talking about Jim's dad for some reason?
crookedlymassivecrown on Instagram had probably the best idea I've seen. Which was to make Jim upset about their engagement.
Now, I wouldn't say he'd be mad, but maybe a little confused and possibly conflicted. Let him still be a bit wary of Strickler, because even if he's no longer trying to take over the world, that doesn't mean he's good enough for his mom.
But as they reconnect, and after Strickler's...less stupid death...Jim trusts him and grows into being okay with Strickler as his stepdad. On the second chance after time-travel, he gives them his blessing and even promises to make their cake.
Other Random Things I Would Change
Blinky's stuck page was ill-timed and didn't really change the course of the movie. Just let them have that info about only one of them making it from the beginning. I mean if they truly believed only taking out one would fix everything, why spread out? Why not just have everyone focus on one of them to ensure it goes down?
Let Zadra be there as a commander for the Akiridion fleet. If Aja and Krel are risking their lives to save Earth, I think they'd want to use as many resources as they can.
Have someone go find the trolls that were headed toward New Jersey and recruit some of them to battle a titan.
Alright...that's it for now.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Here it is luv!
I'm an Asian who uses she/they pronouns and an Aquarius and INTJ. My sexuality is bi demiromantic. I'm 5'0 with tan skin, black hair, brown eyes and glasses.I'm bilingual. People say I look intimidating and unapproachable since I don't smile or talk much around strangers but I try my best to be polite and nice.I'm very introverted and shy. I'll need to warm up to people but when I do, I will surprisingly be energetic.
I consider myself a fair, open minded and laid back person. I like to seek out my friends' company when bored. I either ask them to do something wholesome or something they are afraid of with me. I'm down to do anything with my friends. I'm hardworking if its something that interests me. I'm very creative but can't seem to make my ideas into reality. If I'm not good at something, I tend to put it on hold until I get motivated again. I'm kind of a pacifist but I will fight if pushed too far or my loved ones are endangered.
My friends describe my  sense of humor as dark and cursed. I can be mischievous and chaotic but still reliable and smart.My hobbies are baking,gaming,art, true crime and supernatural stuff. I express my love with gifts and quality time more than physical affection but I'm ok with PDA. I'm gonna be emotionally unavailable at 1st. My fav kind of date is a picnic.A negative trait of mine would be barely taking initiative at 1st due to fear of rejection. My ideal type is someone who I can trust with my life,someone I've known for a long time, very respectful of my boundaries and protective. Like I said in my previous ask- I'm a Hades kid
Okay, this is going to be a long one, so get comfortable lol
You’ve been at Camp Half-Blood since you were six, and mostly stayed in a room in the Big House: the Hermes kids were too afraid of you to have you in their Cabin.
For a long time, it was expected that you’d be the one to fulfil the prophecy, but turns out you were just a few months younger than Percy.
You and Annabeth are pretty close, because the two of you were kind of the only ones around the same age for a long time.
In fact, you were probably the one to tell her and Luke that Thalia's spirit was still in the tree, being able to sense her with your powers.
As a child of Hades, you totally wield one of those Stygian iron swords.
So now that we have established a bit of background, let’s get to how the series progresses with you there.
When Percy is claimed, you kinda take him under your wing. The two of you bond over being kids of one of the Big Three, and it doesn’t take long to become friends.
You were very much against letting Percy, an inexperienced son of Poseidon, go on a quest already. He attracts every monster in a five mile radius and there’s no way he’s already had enough practice to be able to take them all. Also, he’s literally 12.
But there isn’t much that can be done about that, so you sit back and anxiously wait for him, Grover, and Annabeth to return.
The fact that Annabeth is there with him, is at least some consolation. She’s smart enough to keep the three of them alive.
While you stay at camp, you start getting a weird sense every night, like a constant chill running down your spine. You can tell there's some dark entity in the camp, but also... It's not really there?
You’ve felt it before, but never as strong as this. Naturally, your curiosity urges you to find out what it is. It could be a threat, after all.
But as you sneak through the shadows of the camp, dodging harpies along the way, you can feel the darkness start to fade. The night seems a little brighter now, and you are none the wiser as to what that presence was.
You feel it almost every night, but it fades away whenever you go looking for it.
Maybe you’re looking in the wrong place.
You figure it out by accident, when you suddenly sense it while you’re dreaming.
It is so much stronger now.
That’s when it all clicks together: someone in this camp is being haunted by some dark entity in their dreams.
We know children of Hades can walk in others’ dreams, but it takes time to figure this out.
You don’t even know whose dream you need to invade.
So during the day, you start paying close attention to see if anyone looks more tired than usual.
Clarissa looks tired, but she was up teaching a spear-fighting class all day yesterday, so that’s not surprising.
Luke doesn’t look much better, but he’s the head of Cabin 11 and he’s probably stressed about Annabeth being on her first quest, so no surprises there either.
There’s Chiron, but he’s running a camp full of teenage kids with strange powers. If anyone’s allowed to be tired, it would be him.
So your search mainly remains fruitless.
You do get better at dreamwalking: it’s surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it.
When you feel the presence again while you’re asleep, you let yourself be pulled towards its energy. The closer you get, the more you get the feeling you’re about to fall.
Whatever entity this is, it’s ancient.
In the end, you don’t get to see it, but you hear a familiar voice whisper a name.
Kronos.
You try to warn Chiron and Mr. D, but they both pretty much dismiss your concerns. They say they’ll look into it, but you have a feeling it’s only to get you to go back to bed.
Everyone is surprised about Luke’s betrayal, but you least of all. You already knew someone was having very, very dark dreams. You just didn’t know they were having them voluntarily.
Chiron apologises to you for not listening, but ultimately, you both know it wouldn’t have mattered.
And that’s it for Lightning Thief! Let’s move on now.
Because children of Hades kan pick up on spirits, you’re the first person to know that Thalia’s tree is poisoned, because you can feel her spirit fading.
You once again stay back from the quest because, you know, child of Hades on the big open sea just isn’t a stellar idea. You doubt Poseidon is going to do anything that might risk Percy’s life, but there’s no need to take risks.
But it’s not like you’re not doing anything. The barrier is gone, and monsters can freely come and go as they please. All those demigods in one place… Camp Half-Blood had practically become a beacon.
You take a lot of night shifts on guard duty, as monsters -at least the more intelligent ones- turn around the second they see your sword.
At the same time, Chiron teaches you how you can use your powers to keep Thalia’s spirit from fading as long as possible.
And, whenever you manage to get some sleep, you use your dreams to try and locate your friends and see if they’re doing alright.
All in all, it’s a very tiring time.
Somehow, despite having taken an airplane home, everyone comes home safely.
And then the Golden Fleece resurrects Thalia.
You’re there when it happens, having resigned yourself to watching over her tree to see if it’s working (and to catch up with Annabeth, who tells you and Thalia all about her quest).
Obviously, you mercilessly tease her about Percy. That’s what friends do lol.
But then you suddenly feel a spike in Thalia’s life force.
And before you know it, she’s actually there. In the flesh.
And then there’s three kids of the Big Three.
But little do you know, things are about to get a hell of a lot more chaotic.
That one was a little shorter, but now comes the Titan’s Curse, and with that… well, you know who makes his entrance now ;)
You join Percy, Thalia, and Annabeth when they go to Westover Hall. You can’t explain it, but you have a feeling you need to be there.
Which means you get to meet Sally Jackson, who practically adopts you the way she’s already adopted Annabeth and Thalia.
Speaking of Thalia, you and her have become pretty close since she came back to life. Thalia seems like she’d enjoy true crime and she’s probably interested in the supernatural as well, so you bond over that.
You, Thalia, and Annabeth have basically become a chaotic trio. Sparring matches with the three of you are a frequent occurrence.
But anyway. At Westover Hall, you’re the one who uses the Mist to manipulate the teacher. You’ve been training to use it ever since you first came to camp, and even though Thalia is skilled with it already, all of you agree that it’s better to be safe than sorry.
While you’re at the party, Grover pulls you aside and quietly tells you that the aura of the kids he saw, is scarily similar to yours.
He asks if there’s a chance Hades had any other kids after you, but you doubt it. Breaking the agreement once is tricky, doing it twice? Hades is smarter than that.
Of course that’s when shit hits the fan.
During the battle by the cliffs, you mostly focus on keeping the two kids you came here for safe. Maybe Grover was right about them being related to you.
And then shit somehow manages to hit the fan even harder, because the Hunters of Artemis just had to interfere and chase the Manticore off the cliff -and Annabeth with it.
None of you know what to do, then. You, Thalia, and Percy are all devastated and full of guilt. Kids of the Big Three, and none of you were able to save her -your best friend, the girl Thalia practically raised, the girl Percy loves.
You’re grateful for the Hunters giving you shelter for the time being. Artemis herself offers both you and Thalia a position in the hunt, but you both decline. You’re a child of the god of the Underworld: you understand better than anyone that death is a vital part of the natural order.
Bianca Di Angelo, however, immediately says yes. Both you and Nico are hurt by her decision; by now you’re fairly certain the Do Angelo’s are your siblings, and for Bianca to ditch both of you so quickly, without even getting to know you… well, it stings.
You, Thalia, Percy, and Nico return to Camp with the Hunters, while Artemis goes her own way. The atmosphere at camp is horribly depressing.
Everyone at least knew Annabeth, and most people cared about her, or even loved her.
When Grover, Zoe Nightshade, Bianca, and Thalia embark on their quest, you are up all night. That’s how you catch Percy sneaking off after him.
You tell him to take you along, and he agrees before you can even try and convince him.
It would be a good time, you know, if you weren’t trying to find a missing goddess and your presumed dead best friend.
Percy explains his dream to you, about Annabeth being forced to take the weight of the sky. You try your best to reassure him by saying that if anyone can take it, it’s Annabeth.
When the two of you are caught, you have a shouting match with Zoe. She claims you’re endangering the mission; you accuse her of not giving a shit about Annabeth, and saying that Artemis would be disappointed to be the focus of this quest when there was a young woman who needed help.
It’s a mess, but Percy and Thalia have your back. Bianca admits that she, too, believes that Artemis would want them to rescue Annabeth first. Even Grover, who honestly just wants to stay as far away from the argument as possible, quietly agrees.
Apollo helps you guys get to the Junkyard of the Gods…
But Bianca is not lost in a land without rain, like she would normally be.
Because you are still the most powerful child of Hades present.
So when Talos activates? You create a fissure in the ground with your sword, one so broad and deep that even Talos can’t cross it.
Not without falling in and breaking down for once and for all.
When you get to Mount Othrys, tensions are at an all time high. Thalia, Percy, and you are all anxious to find Annabeth, but also dreading the prospect of having to see Luke again.
Zoe gets poisoned, but rather than Percy, you’re the one who takes the weight of the sky from Artemis so she can fight Atlas and make him take your place again.
It’s just in time to see Luke go ever the edge of a cliff. You can feel the moment his body hits the ground, but you don’t feel him die.
When the Olympians suggest to kill Percy to keep him from becoming the next child of the prophecy, after Thalia accepts Artemis’ offer, you’re the first to rush to his defence.
“What are you going to do, kill all of us? First Perce, then me, and eventually Nico?”
Luckily, Artemis stands in your corner as well, and she takes no shit from her fellow Olympians.
Important to note: since Bianca is alive and with the Hunters, Nico never runs away from Camp…
I feel like these are only getting longer and longer lol. Onto the Battle of the Labyrinth.
So obviously things go very different: Nico is still at Camp Half-Blood, and is quickly progressing in skill under your training.
The two of you have become close, especially now that Bianca is away with the Hunters -though she frequently writes to you both.
Still, Nico desires answers for why he can’t remember anything from the past.
He strays into the Underworld with unnerving ease, and he even manages shadow travel, something even you aren’t capable of yet. You can’t help but be a little jealous.
So while Nico is off finding his answers, you perfect your sword-fighting skills. It doesn’t take long before you meet Quintus, but you don’t like him. Granted, you don’t instantly like people most of the time, but something about the guy feels off.
You already know about the entrance to the Labyrinth: you worked with Clarisse and Annabeth to try and figure out how Luke and the Titan Army might use this to their advantage.
Naturally, when Annabeth embarks on her quest, she asks you along: even your geokinetic abilities aren’t fully able to find a way through the Labyrinth, but you at least can sense where exits and entrances are.
The Labyrinth makes you feel like you’re walking on the edge of a knife: one wrong step and you’ll spiral into madness forever.
You can sense the madness around you: of the man who created it, of those who perished here.
Certain parts are so full of spirits that walking through them makes you feel like you’re suffocating.
You don’t make a pitstop at the Triple G Ranch because there is nothing there for you to find.
Instead, you go straight to Hephaestus’ workshop.
Which leads to the incident with the volcano.
After Percy’s apparent death, you’re the one who leads everyone back to Camp.
That’s when Nico contacts you through a dream, asking for help. The contact is cut off before you can ask what’s wrong, but you caught a glimpse of his environment.
You head straight back to the Labyrinth, and focus on your powers like you never have before. You can feel your half-brother’s spirit if you try hard enough, and it leads to Antaeus’ arena.
That’s where you run into Nico -and Luke and his forces. Nico, not hardened by the loss of Bianca, still had the innocence to trust Luke. Until, you know, he got captured.
You put up a fight, but you’ve been wandering the Labyrinth for days with little to no rest while drawing on a great deal of your powers.
You’re embarrassed by how quickly they capture you to.
But thankfully, most of the Titan Army is none too clever. They let you rest and keep you fed, in the hope that you might change your mind and join their side.
So when you’re called upon to fight and see Percy in the arena… we’ll, Antaeus never stood a chance. You make your escape with Percy, Nico, Annabeth, ands mortal girl named Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
You yell at Percy for, like, 20 minutes straight for making you think he was dead.
When you meet Daedalus, everything makes sense. Of course Daedalus and Quintus are the same person.
You all arrive just in time to see Kronos rise, and from there it’s just a mad dash back to Camp to warm them of what’s coming.
Well. With one small interruption when you discover Pan’s last resting place.
You can’t explain it, but you feel as if Pan has a connection to you. Maybe it has something to do with the wilderness dying. Maybe it’s just because death is a vital part of life.
Whatever the case, it feels as if he’s trying to tell you something.
You arrive back at Camp just before all hell breaks loose.
Things seem to go your way at first, the monsters slowed by the narrow entrance, and with Daedalus, Briares, and Mrs. O’Leary on your side.
But then there’s Kampê.
Grover manages to summon panic and send the monsters scrambling back to the Labyrinth, but they’ll come back soon enough.
That’s when Daedalus asks you to release his spirit, as it will destroy the Labyrinth and everything in it.
So you do.
You’ve never actually set a spirit free, but it’s not hard.
And when you do, you become the Ghost Ruler.
Nevertheless, despite winning the battle, the losses are devastating. You can feel dead all around you…
… but you also feel life.
This was what Pan was trying to tell you. Children of Hades do not just sense death, but also the absence of it.
You start to wonder if it might be possible for you to reverse the dying process, or at least slow it down. After all, you also kept Thalia’s spirit from fading when her tree was poisoned.
There is power over life in the power over death.
Alright, onto the grand finale!
You know the battle is approaching fast, so you spent almost the entire year in the Underworld, perfecting your powers.
Nico is with you, trying to force some answers out of your dad.
You try to convince Hades to fight in the upcoming war, but he’s stubborn over how the Olympians rejected him, despite him being one of the most powerful gods. He reminds you that you and Nico don’t even have a cabin at camp.
And for a moment, you understand his bitterness, and with it, you understand what drove Luke and so many others to this.
But just because you don’t have your own cabin, doesn’t mean you don’t have a place at camp.
You return to camp not long after Annabeth sends you an Iris message about the disaster on the Princess Andromeda.
You arrive just in time to learn that the gods are trying to slow down Typhon.
Unbeknownst to you, Nico low-key kidnaps Percy.
You’re just trying to keep roughly 100 stressed and scared teenagers with free access to weapons from killing each other.
When you finally all go to the Empire State Building to defend the city and Mount Olympus, you run into Percy.
“Your brother kidnapped me.”
“Why do you have an aura of invincibility?”
“Shit, is it that obvious?”
You also reunite with Bianca and Thalia when the Hunters arrive.
“Bianca, your brother kidnapped me.”
Bianca, who has taken over Thalia’s sense of humor: “Good for him.”
The battle is in full swing, and while you’re not outnumbered, you’d feel a hell of a lot better if there were some Underwordly reinforcements.
There’s the disaster on the bridge, and Annabeth getting stabbed, and then some Titan tries to convince Percy to open Pandora’s Box and release hope.
When Percy refuses, it becomes clear how this is going to end: in victory or in death.
The battles go and on, and you’re not sure how much longer you can keep doing this.
But just when all hope seems lost, Hades arrives with Demeter, Persephone, Nico, and an army of undead warriors.
You are so happy you weren’t there for that awkward family gathering.
You’re with Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia when they follow Kronos and Ethan Nakamura up to Olympus.
When the statue of Hera falls, you hold it back with your powers until everyone has safely passed underneath.
The battle in the throne room is a brutal one, but then Ethan suddenly switches sides after Percy talks to him.
Of course Kronos tries to kill him for it, but you manage to stop him from forming the fissure.
Still, all of you are incapacitated: Ethan is bleeding from a bad wound, Annabeth got flung against a throne with a sickening crack, and you and Thalia could only fight for so long after days of tiring battles.
In the end, it’s Annabeth who gets through to Luke.
In the end, Luke is the hero of the prophecy.
When Percy calls the gods out on their bullshit, you can barely refrain from laughing.
The Olympians put you in charge of working with the minor deities to give them the representation they want and deserve.
At the same time, you work closely with Annabeth and Ethan on new cabins for the camp.
Honestly, life is good.
And then Percy goes missing.
I feel like I should apologise for how long this got omg. I hope you enjoy it, though, and if you ever want a Heroes of Olympus continuation, let me know!
Anyway, thank you so much for the request, I had such fun writing this <3
Hey there! May i request letter A for the diasomnia boys?
Hello, too! ^^ sorry this took long hahaha.
Activities: What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
Malleus prefers to spend his time with his s/o during the silent of the nights, away from the suffocating noises in the classroom and away from his overly dramatic guards (mainly Sebek). His favourite pastime involves teaching and educating you about gargoyles; he would speak about them so highly and enthusiastically with so much confidence that even you would be convinced of their superiority and stuff.
Malleus also likes hearing about your day while eating frozen desserts, especially ice creams, while hanging out in Ramshackle building all by yourselves. He would patiently listen to you if you had a bad day, and would try to give logical advice when you wanted and comfort when you needed.
Aside from those two, Malleus would also play any string instrument to indulge you if you asked him to. He finds it not minding it when you fall asleep by him when he plays violin to help you sleep at night. It makes him proud that you were so willing to show your defenceless state to him.
"If you have a nightmare, I shall make sure you're not alone until the sun rises."
Tumblr media
Brace yourself, buckle your seatbelt and make sure to always have different types of medicine tucked to your pocket because Lilia's way of spending time with you is either deadly or a disaster. There's no in between. Lilia would always try to cook for you no matter how hard you stop him, he would take any opportunity he got to see the end of his "hard work".
It would be a normal occurrence for the whole Diasomnia to always see you wrestling the cooking ladle away from him, or when you actually try to teach him how to properly cook and read every detail of the cookbook with Lilia. Although all your efforts are to no avail, just as everyone expected. The students of the dorm have high respect for your patience and tolerance towards their Vice Dorm Head.
Aside from cooking disasters, Lilia would also invite you during his daily gaming nights. If you're not acquainted with his games, he would enthusiastically teach you how to play them. If you happen to fall asleep by then, Lilia would tuck you to bed like a child and probably sing you a goodnight lullaby that he said would "chase away the bad dreams".
"Kufufufu. You need not to worry, little one. I will be here to guard you till the morning comes."
Tumblr media
Since he thinks you have a great talent in wielding a sword, Silver would very much be more than willing to teach you fencing. That is if you wanted to. He doesn't want to force you but he would say that it would be helpful to you when it comes to defending yourself when you're in danger. Although he assured you that he would be there when it happens, it wouldn't hurt to be extra careful.
Silver was a member of the Equestrian club, Silver would sometimes invite you to ride a horse with him. If you don't know how, he would teach you, though he would most likely fall asleep by then and Sebek would have to shout angrily at him for leaving you on your own devices when you can't control your horse just yet.
After all those tiring lessons, Silver would fall asleep again, but this time, he would make sure that you were already safe or if you want, you can nap together with him. You could watch him, and the animals flocking around him as if protectively guarding a defencess princess, as he slept away into dreamland.
"Your posture isn't bad. Keep up the good workーzzz…"
Tumblr media
Of course, Sebek's hobbies with you are talking and worshipping Malleus, I know you've seen that one coming. Although his voice is loud and can be terrifying, seeing Sebek so passionate and confident about someone he admires is so endearing you can't bring yourself to tell him that it was rude to talk about someone who wasn't even with you guys.
The intense fervour in his green eyes and his bottomless devotion towards Malleus was one of the reasons you found him adorable. You weren't really listening to him when he was talking about how amazing his "waka-sama" was but you feel content enough to listen to him ramble and stuff. His reactions and expressions never get old.
Sebek would also be seen butting heads with Silver often, so you would be left defusing him before he destroys the eardrums of everyone watching and listening. Aside from that, Sebek would also invite you to train with him from time to time. Especially if your physical education grades are abysmal; he would help you with your training programs suited to your body to solve your "pitiful PE grades".
"Hmp! Not bad for a human!" Sebek looked down at you, huffing, but you know that he was just too prideful to show you how proud he was. "I've told you if you put your all on something, there's nothing you can't do!"
Sort of a prompt I guess? I think it would be funny if geralt and jaskier got married in by accident (fairy married or something like that maybe?) and don't know how to or can't undo it so they just decide to go along with it till they can and by then they relize they don't want to? I don't know what do you think
fuck yeah. I love accidental marriage aus!
tw: accidental marriage, self-doubt
---
Geralt raises an eyebrow. “And this will tell me whether or not I’m in love?”
“Yeah!”
The witcher allows Jaskier to rub the blossom beneath his chin. It tickles very briefly but Geralt is too focused on the way his bard’s blue eyes are shining in the early August light to be bothered. Geralt is too busy staring at the way Jaskier’s brows have scrunched together and the way his cute pink tongue pokes out from between the tight line of his lips as he keeps concentration.
When he’s finished, Jaskier hands him a fresh bloom and declares: “Now you have to do me!”
Geralt returns the favor, ignoring the way heat creeps up the back of his neck at Jaskier’s particular wording of that order. When he thinks he’s done, he lowers the flower to his side and shrugs. “Now what?”
“Is there yellow on my chin? Yours is practically glowing from all the gold in your stubble! You’re in love, Geralt! Fantastic!”
“You might be worse off than I am,” Geralt smiles softly, thumbing some of the pollen from Jaskier’s chin and wiping it on his own dark armor. No point in ruining any more of the bard’s fancy silks. “I guess we’re both smitten.”
“Congratulations!” a high, sing-song voice suddenly calls from the dark of the forest. Geralt shoves Jaskier behind him, sheltering as much of the bard as possible with his shoulder and chest. The arm that isn’t already wielding his silver sword curls protectively backwards, keeping Jaskier close.
“Who goes there!?”
“That’s quite enough posturing, Master Witcher,” a lower, equally melodious voice informs him. Geralt doesn’t lower his sword in the slightest. From the tree-line emerges a line of Faerie folk, dressed in billowing gowns of bright, summery colors. At their head is a tall, slender woman with large green eyes and fiery red hair. “We’ve only come to congratulate you on your marriage. You did follow the tradition rightly, and we’ve come to bestow our blessings upon you both.”
“Our... what?”
“Your wedding,” the strange creature replies. “He pledged himself to you with the flower pollen and he did the same in return, yes?”
“I didn’t know it was-”
“It matters not,” the woman interrupts. “It has been done.”
“Can you un-do it?!” Jaskier cries, flinging himself to his knees. “I never meant- He wasn’t supposed to-”
“Wasn’t supposed to what?” Geralt asks, interrupting the bard’s sobs. “We’re married?”
“By Faerie law,” the woman nods. Jaskier shakes his head and Geralt’s heart falls into his boots. Of course, he realizes. Of course Jaskier wouldn’t want to be tied down, especially not to... someone like me.
“He doesn’t deserve this,” the bard pleads, and Geralt’s head snaps up. What? “He doesn’t deserve to be trapped any more! He doesn’t deserve to be tied down by Destiny or Fate or- or-” Jaskier hiccups, tears flowing freely over ruddy-red cheeks “-stupid bards.”
Geralt realizes, very suddenly and with no small amount of shock or awe, that Jaskier truly does love him. The pollen...
“It only works if you’re in love, right?” he asks the Faerie matron. She nods.
“The magic only takes if you’re both in love with each other,” she explains, the light of understanding finally dawning in her eyes. “And I would not have been summoned to give blessing if you were not deeply enamored with each other.”
“G-Geralt?”
“Hmm,” the witcher hums, smiling down at his bard. He helps Jaskier to his feet and winds his arms around the slighter man’s waist. “I do, Jaskier. I love you very much.”
“I love you too, of course. Ardently and with all of my being.”
“Then, Jaskier and Geralt, married this day by the laws of my people, will you accept our blessings?”
Jaskier nods before Geralt can ask for clarification and the witcher knows already that his newly minted husband will probably be the death of them both. The woman places the palm of her left hand over their joined ones and speaks clearly: “May you never part unless by death. May your lives be long and prosperous and filled with love and song. May the forest always guide you safely home, for you are bound eternally by the love in your souls. Let it never burn out.”
And then, with a flash, the Faeries were gone.
“So...uh...” Jaskier rubs nervously at the back of his neck with his free hand. Geralt tangles their fingers together easily and smiles.
“How about we head to the coast for our honeymoon?” he suggests. Jaskier throws his arms around his witcher’s neck and kisses him straight on the mouth. Both of them smile into it, like idiots, and turn back toward the road.
“Sounds lovely.”
I wanted to create a separate post for this, @thebansheeandherboy, because it’s a topic that is near and dear to my heart as a little sister with an older brother. (And this got...LONG. So I've hidden part of it under the cut.)
My brother used to be very set in his patriarchal ways. Certain things were "a woman's job." He was absolutely convinced there was something wrong with every guy who miraculously took interest in me. For a long time, we had a very Sokka-and-Katara-Book-1 relationship. Antagonistic yet fond. Full of conflict yet protective.
As we grew up, he dated some girls who were very strong-willed and courageous. They didn't take his crap. They were my earliest feminist influences and I love them all for it. Without them, I may not have found my voice and become the person I am today. And they changed him, too.
He's very supportive of my independence now. He thinks I kick ass and is extremely proud of who I am, even if we don't always see eye to eye. And as the years have passed, he's learned that my judgement in regard to friends and significant others is pretty good. Sure, I made my youthful follies, but so did he.
Though I know he'll never admit it out loud because it would mean admitting that he likes someone whose views directly oppose his, he actually likes my S.O. and he's glad that we finally found our way to one another. And though I know I'll never hear the precise words, "I like him," I see it in a myriad of little ways which I won't delve into now because it's not pertinent.
"Ever," you may be asking. "What does any of this have to do with fictional characters?"
Well, Sokka learned from strong female influences as well. He shed his misogynistic views and embraced Katara, Suki, and Toph for who they were--strong women. He learned not to underestimate them. I've seen that in real life and I can relate to it.
It's my personal headcanon that Sokka and Zuko become lifelong best friends after everything that happened during the war. Zuko would come to admire Sokka's ingenuity and Sokka would appreciate Zuko's sense of duty and honor. They'd both respect each other's leadership skills and be in constant communication about inventions or laws or anything else under the sun. They'd be good sounding boards for one another. (And they'd also really grow to appreciate each other's senses of humor.)
(Truly, these two are my brotp.)
In a universe where Zuko and Katara get together, I actually see Sokka catching on long before either of them do. Maybe Suki would have to clue him in, but I don't think so. I think he'd catch on to their chemistry at the Western Air Temple during the war. And I think that he'd sit down with Zuko to talk to him after the war. Not in an "over protective big brother" kind of way or anything. He'd definitely just want to thank Zuko for saving Katara's life since she's always been the one to sacrifice for everyone else. He'd make sure to tell Zuko what that means to him and how much he respects him for it. He might even tell Zuko that he's like a brother to him.
That would be the beginning of it, though.
Sure, maybe a part of Sokka would find it weird because it's his little sister and his best friend (and, honestly? I'd find it weird at first if my best friend liked my sibling), but he'd kind of get it. Zuko and Katara push one another. They complement one another. They have a selfless and unconditional give and take that somehow always remains equal. Plus, Sokka knows Katara better than anyone. She's strong-willed and determined. Even if he hated the idea of her and Zuko getting together, that wouldn't stop her. He knows, too, that Zuko has always seen Katara for who she is. Zuko's not once underestimated her. He'll remember when Zuko and Katara went to track down Yon Rha and that memory will reinforce in his mind that Zuko is willing to provide Katara with unwavering support no matter the decision she makes.
And when he notices them looking at each other when the other has no clue, he'll realize he's seen that look before. Katara looks at Zuko the way Suki looks at him. And Zuko might be better at hiding his emotions than Sokka ever could be, but he can't completely disguise the way his eyes go soft when Katara walks into a room. (Don't forget: Sokka trained with Piandao. He has higher observational skills than most people give him credit for.)
And he'd just kind of watch over the years as Zuko and Katara sit in denial and dance around it. But he'd also definitely tease them both about it relentlessly, don't get me wrong! He'd make kissy faces at Zuko behind Katara's back. He'd walk around after Katara mimicking her voice as he says, "Oh, Zuko's so handsome. Zuko's such a powerful bender. Zuko has such nice, shiny hair." (Until Katara bends a snowball into his face, of course.)
Maybe Katara would try dating other people. Sokka would say things like, "You know, this guy doesn't make you laugh. Even Zuko makes you laugh." Or, "This guy can't even sling a boomerang! At least Zuko can wield two swords at once. You should find someone like that." Or, "You should be with someone who's unafraid to give you autonomy and likes your political ideas."
And if Zuko looked like he was about to give in to an arranged marriage, Sokka might step in in a subtler way. "You know, you should find someone who challenges you and inspires you to be a better person. Someone with aspiration who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Especially if she's speaking up for the average person. And you should really try to find someone you love because leading a nation seems like a lonely thing and you don't deserve to be alone."
When they finally decided to try to be together, the two of them would keep it under wraps at first. People might suspect, but there'd be no concrete evidence. Toph would claim she's noticed a difference in the energy between them. And Suki might say Katara's letters suddenly contain a little too much Zuko. But Sokka, ever the skeptic, wouldn't buy into it because his best friend and his sister are dense.
Maybe Sokka stumbles across them snuggled under a tree by the turtleduck pond one day. Or maybe he catches them kissing during the winter solstice celebration in the Southern Water Tribe. And he definitely pulls something melodramatic because, let's face it, he's Sokka. Plus, he just wants to give them shit because he's still Katara's brother and Zuko's best friend and he's obligated.
Afterward, though, he'd track Zuko down. Zuko might try to explain in his usual fumbling manner, but Sokka would just look at him and say, "You know if you hurt her or leave her or if you don't find a way to make this last forever, she'll kill you, right?" And then he'd pull out a flask of Southern Water Tribe vodka, raise it in Zuko's direction and say, "Flameo, hotman. Flameo." And together they would toast to Zuko and Katara's relationship.
(But Sokka would still lovingly give them shit for the rest of their lives.)
