Celeste really prefers to see the best in people, so it takes a lot. She herself would probably read as sickly sweet to a lot of people! So yeah, unless she gets the sense that you're lying or otherwise being manipulative by being sweet/kind/whatever, you're not going to read as sickly sweet to her. Just sweet.<3

🥬 [LEAFY GREEN] How mundane are they? Do they like it that way?

So for the longest time she considered herself to be extremely mundane and it was one of her biggest points of insecurity. The twins (older) are the best in the family at magic, her younger sister is beautiful and feminine and witty, her younger brother is carefree and funny and everyone loves to be around him. Celeste spent her developmental years taking care of her younger siblings, the ranch, the smithy, and her training so she doesn't feel that she ever really developed a personality outside that. Then Mara chooses her, gives her a Name, and she feels so so special! She loves it through the whole oblivion crisis, feeling needed and that she can really contribute something. She loves that people know her name through her good deeds.

And then the crisis ends, and she loses Martin, and she will never be the same after the kind of hell she went through to make it this far, and she starts to wonder if being mundane was a gift she squandered.

Honestly? Lots. She is a very principled woman lol and very stubborn. But the one that is the most liable to make her look bad is probably her belief that everyone deserves rehabilitation if they want it. As a champion of Mara she believes that being loved is a human right, and that no one is beyond saving. This often makes her look aligned with some... very unsavory folks. But she isn't naive either, she can tell the difference between someone who wants to change, and someone who wants to use her generosity to get out of consequences for their actions. She will always help those who truly want it, whether the people around her think they deserve it or not.
