I love inventing terrible in universe fandom drama.

Gavintwt fell into a couple months of terrible discourse about Klavier’s sexuality. people argue about whether he's gay or just queerbaiting and then people argue about how this is invasive actually and real people can't queerbait and Klavier is just openly queer the whole time with a song literally titled "my boyfriend is the prosecution's witness". blissfully unaware.

There's a trend of Gavinner stans committing crimes or messing with crime scenes just to be prosecuted/called as a witness by Klavier. he has to put out a formal statement imploring his fans to pursue other methods of getting his attention:

A few years after the disbarment someone digs up an old viral post that's like

and gavinblr suddenly realizes that that was the dude Klavier got DISBARRED a couple years ago. viral sensation parrot cross-examiner Phoenix Wright. the fandom goes crazy for a few days but then Klavier does a new photoshoot and they all move on.

A post joking about shipping Klavier’s brother with the guy Klavier got disbarred becomes a huge meme in gavinblr and a subsection begins writing ironic Krisnix RPF that progressively becomes genuine and then turnabout trump happens and the fandom explodes again. Half the Krisnix shippers jump ship to Klapollo because they felt weird about shipping a murderer (and did you SEE the Kitaki case? Klavier was sooo flirting with the defense <3). The other half doubled down and reveled in the angst potential. Part of the Klapollo shippers started truthing. They study court transcripts to prove that Klavier and Apollo are in love if not already dating. Unfortunately they’re right.

Y'all ever wandered exactly what music would Alastor listen to?

Well do I have a treat for you!

tl;dr I've made a biblically historically accurate playlist with jazz from 1920 - 1933. Enjoy!

As an old jazz enjoyer, baby swing dancer, hazbin hotel fandom inhabitant and an adhd owner, recently I developed a raging hiperfixation with history of jazz.

So of course I was into the idea of finding a playlist which have recordings from the ✨period✨

You know, stuff that Alastor could actually air in his radio show. Albeit most playlists I found, between music from 1920, have also electro swing and more contemporary music, as well as songs from the show.

So I've made one myself.

Without further ado, here is how madness looks like:

I highly recommend to listen to the playlist on shuffle, since I added the tracks by artist. So it's more fun to have it a bit mixed 🙃🔀

Based on what I could find, Alastor died in his thirties. Most resources state that it was his early thirties. His year of death is 1933 (after fandom wiki). For this project I made an assumption that he lived between 1900 - 1933 and worked in the radio his whole adult life. So on the playlist you'll find the music recorded in years 1920 - 1933.

Vivzie pointed out that Alastor liked Cab Calloway, Charlie Chaplin's "Smile" and his favorite song would be "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from the "Annie" musical. Especially that the latter was an inspiration for his character. BUT.

"Annie" musical premiered in 1977, so songs from that work are too modern for the playlist. Although Alastor could enjoy the "Little Orphan Annie", a 1930/31 radio drama show. As far as I'm concerned, it only had a theme song, which unfortunately I can't find on Spotify.

Charlie Chaplin's "Smile" premiered in 1936, but I decided to include it. Let's pretend that the year of death is contractual in this case 😏

Unfortunately most of the jazz standards from 1920 was first recorded after 1940, so I guess they couldn't got into 20s/30s radio. But maybe I should chill a bit on the radio part and include stuff that Alastor could enjoy live, hanging out with Mimzy at some local speakeasies? Whaddya say?

I hope you'll appreciate my exquisite sense of humor, since I was able to choose some tracks basing on the sheer hilarity of how their titles suits our Bambi 🤡 Can you spot them?

I'm not an expert, just a crazy person with too much time on her hands. So if you spot some inaccuracies gimme a shout 👀

I'll be expanding the playlist, because why the hell not?

Akuma Idea: 💡🎩The Phantom🎭💡

Okay, so this idea occurred to me a while back and I have been mulling it over ever since I first watched this video:

After listening to this song dozens of times on repeat and watching the animatic, I decided to akumatize someone into a villain based on a character from a musical or a play. So I bet you can guess from the title of the post which character I went with:

So I was thinking that the Phantom's design would be heavily based on the "Phantom of the Opera" but I was also thinking about adding some elements of Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon into the mix (more specifically his top hat, cape, white gloves, and maybe the cane? Idk)

I'm also planning on writing out his design to have the tuxedo that the Phantom of the Opera wears as well as the mask that covers half of his face. I was thinking about giving him a mask that covers his whole face, but I thought that would kill the aesthetic. I have zero ideas on what to do with the Phantom's hair, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

So far for the Phantom's superpowers, I was thinking of giving him the power to go intangible and pass through solid matter as well as turn invisible. I'll confess I also had Danny Phantom in mind when I was thinking of ideas for powers for this akumatized villain, except this Phantom can't fly 😅😂😂. He will also carry a couple of weapons on him as well like a dagger and a theater sword.

So the reason why the Phantom has intangibility and invisibility powers ties in with his personality and the reason why he was akumatized. So basically, the Phantom is a drama student from Collège Françoise Dupont who is participating in a play being organized by a theater group consisting of students from several different schools in Paris (still deciding on what play they will be performing). This student auditioned for the lead role in the play, but his audition was sabotaged when students from a particular middle school decided to pull a cruel prank on him during his audition. While he didn't get the lead role, he did get the part as the lead's understudy and begrudgingly accepted the part that he had been assigned and strives to be the "best damn understudy that anyone has ever seen". Unfortunately, the bullying doesn't stop at his audition, and it is one final act of cruelty a week before opening night that breaks the camel's back and leads to him becoming akumatized. As the Phantom, he uses his powers of intangibility and invisibility to sabotage the play in any way possible whether it be falling stage lights and sandbags, graffiti on stage props, cut-up costumes, writing on the walls, causing drama on the stage, etc. But his main goal is to get back at the assholes who have tormented him relentlessly since Day 1, especially the ringleader who ruined his audition.
