so I've seen people say that since the LIB look like high schoolers when they're summoned at the Hatchetfield High Black Altar, their forms would changed based on where they're summoned, and I rock with that headcanon. business suits for the CCRP building, theatre costumes for the Starlight, fancy 1820s dress for the Waylon place
but what the fuck would they look like at the Lakeside Mall? mall goths? 80s mall rats?? who hangs out at malls??? would they just be teenagers again???? these are the things that keep me up at night
I kinda feel annoyed by how easily I would end up a Disciple to these lot if I were in the Hatchetverse. And I blame the Summoning song. Or more specifically the chanting of "The lords in black call us. The lords in black call us now."
It makes me feel like.... longing..... or more rather... missing something.... missing something that wasn't.. and never was... as if I was there at some point.... like.... it feels like billowing dark clouds just before it rains.... but the kind at night... where you can see them.. and the clouds themselves provide light... and you feel like... if you could fly... you'd go flying through the night and playing in the storm... flying... like.... it feels like you are being called.... and like.... you just want to answer so much... to feel the option to choose this path.... so much... and a certain grief because you know you can't.
I think in summery, it just re-awakens what I felt as a desperate teenage child who just... was seeking anything to just.... escape... but now I'm an adult, I've fully accepted that I'll never end up involved in some supernatural world of magic and monsters and just... my life will be a meaningless 9 to 5 where I have to find contentness in domesticated stuff...
Erm, uh, I mean, it's time for our first Hatchetfield-themed palate cleanser! No end of the world here, no sir, just a musical, though if you're a certain guy named Paul that may be an even worse fate...
That's right! Blinky's watching The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals this weekend! Get your sniggle on and please join us for a visit back to the incredibly special show that started it all.
Please note that the THE WATCH PARTIES WILL BE ON SUNDAY (NOT SATURDAY) due to the Pit Stop In Hatchetfield Livestream. And because TGWDLM is a full musical and the two timeslots are so close together, we will be starting right at the announced time, instead of allowing for the usual grace period for people to join. Have a La-Dee-Dah-Dah Time Letting It Out!
I love the fact that Show Stopping Number is included in Inevitable. Because when Hidgens first sang it, he was still totally human, which means that Pokey liked the song so much he was like "Yeah you know what I'm gonna get this in there, it was a banger and it will definitely make Emma lose her mind!" and I love him for that.
u can have your theories but i find it funny that hatchetfield resets bc i just imagine the lords in black watching everything go down until wigglys like "well its happened again boys. tinky hit the reset button." n then paul is at work once again
