"The gods always ensure I am unhappy..." said the man. The voice in his ear paused. It then whispered to him in a mousy voice: "...Do you consider yourself a god?"

Having insanely high emotional intelligence is just constantly being hurt by less intelligent people and then trying to explain to them that you're not the villain

Im convinced that the people who disagree with vaccines bc they “have chips in them” just don’t like getting shots and are exceptionally stupid and/or dramatic

Screw the Trolley Problem, here’s an alternative morality test:
Bram Stoker (an actual person) and all his siblings (actual people) were written about in Dacre Stoker’s Dracul. Of course, most of the book is fiction; nothing mentioned really happened.
Is the Bram Stoker in the book still a real person or is he now his own fictional character who shares a name with the og writer of Dracula?
Bonus question: Is it ethical to write fanfics about Bram Stoker FROM THE BOOK SPECIFICALLY because he “isn’t real” or is it unethical because he is real, technically?

What is wrong with you, you silly girl? Grasping at the hands of all who dare come near, wishing them closer. They don't know you and they don't wish to, no matter how much you want to spill the pages inked with your life to them. Let go of your poor "friend's" hands and watch them run for the hills back to whom they truly wish to know.

All I want to be is the normal, carefree, happy teenage girl I was destined to be. But all I feel like is a puppeteer controlling fabric and springs, pretending to be human. My mouth is split, my hair made of string, my eyes buttons. I always hear the crowds tell me that I'm simply a normal girl; nothing is wrong in this twisted facade. But I know they see it too. Their faces contort when I talk and my mouth slacks to the side. They know that I do not understand their hints and clues, and they see me lesser than in turn. They see the fabric pulling at the seems and they turn away. Only a human could prevent the looks of pity, disgust, or ridicule. A human I am not.

I think I desperately try to shove myself in boxes because if I don’t sit in a label and take its form, I’m too empty of a husk to be something on my own.

I would never visit your grave. I would die on the soil you are beneath. I would feed the flowers I've planted in the dirt with my body so that our grave would be full of the flowers I missed the opportunity to put in your hands.

I like to believe that vampires stereotypically wear all black because their undead bodies are freezing cold and wearing black will absorb more warmth.
