Songbird p.3 - Andy Biersack x OC
The Masterlist
Hio Everyone,
So upon writing these, this is as far as I got in my original writing. This chapter isn’t even finished yet and I have no idea where I am going from here. If you’ve got any ideas for where this should go, let me know and I will test it to see if it works. If it does, at the end of the chapter I will give you credit.
Love you all,
Pandemonium
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter Three: Be Mine?
It was a quiet day as Andy and Max sat in her car. He was leaving to go back on tour tomorrow and secretly Max was devastated. She loved the time she had been spending with him. It was not often she got to spend time with anyone, they were often busy or did not enjoy what she loved doing, so she often felt lonely.
Over the past two weeks, the two had grown really close. She felt like she had known Andy for a long time - like forever. She had never felt anything close to that with anyone except for Tessa, and a friend she could no longer see anymore.
They were going to go out for dinner after watching a movie at her apartment. (The two were having a Batman marathon, which was an obvious choice. Both loved the movie series, they just had differing opinions of which movie was the best.) She was just waiting for Andy to pick the restaurant. Problem was, Andy was being so God damn indecisive.
Finally, Andy put his phone down and said, “Montana’s? I’m in the mood for ribs and they have an all-you-can-eat rib special going on right now.”
She nodded, “sounds good to me. It’s close by too.” She started the car and drove the short distance to the restaurant. Andy laughed when he realized it was literally a 5 minutes drive from the apartment complex.
She remembered the first time she brought Andy to her apartment and he saw all the band posters pinned on her bedroom wall.
He smirked when he noticed the majority of them were Black Veil Brides. “So you’re just a casual fan huh?”
Max blushed and hid her face. “It looks like we’ve had a big impact on you.”
“You have no idea,” she mumbled hoping he didn’t hear, but apparently he did when a frown slid onto his face. She was thankful he didn’t call her on it. That was a conversation for another day.
Listening to BVB always helped calm her down when she was stressed or angry. It only took half a song and she felt much better. She knew she would tell Andy eventually. She felt that special connection with him that she had never felt with previous men, or anyone to be exact.
She got out of the car and he followed quickly behind her. He seemed more excited about the food then she was. He didn’t know she could probably eat him under the table when it came to ribs. They were just too good not to devour.
She hoped this didn’t scare him off. Her feelings were growing fast for the rockstar. She felt hopeless at the feelings bubbling inside her, dying to make her look like a fool.
The hostess in a blue plaid shirt and tight jeans came over and brought them to their table. Andy pulled the chair away from the table and pushed it in once she sat down.
Another person came over to them in the standard uniform. “You’re from that band, right? Black Veil… uh… Black Veil Brides?”
Andy nodded with a bright smile on his face. “That I am.”
“My daughter listens to your music. I haven’t seen her so happy before she discovered it.” This made Max smile, Andy must never get old of hearing how much his music has helped people.
“I’m glad I could help, would you like me to sign something for her?”
The waitress looked grateful and was already quick to her book and handing him a pen.
“What’s her name?” He had the pen at the ready.
“Alanna.”
He wrote it down quickly and got to work on a quick message. Max could see what he was writing and it was sweet.
‘Dear Alanna,
Your mom says you like our music and that it makes you happy. On behalf of the band, I’m glad we could put a smile on your face. Make sure you keep it there, don’t let anyone try to tear you down. - Andy Biersack.’
“There you go,” he said handing the little book to the waitress who thanked him graciously. She let him know how happy her daughter would be. This made Andy give off the smile she had grown fond of, although, she had grown fond of everything to do with this man. She had fallen so hard for him in such a short amount of time already.
Max was also happy that Andy was able to make other people smile as well.
"Now, what can I get you both?” We gave our orders to her happily. We had gotten the same thing, the all you can eat ribs with delicious apple butter sauce.
"I know this is a weird request but can you keep the bones here until we are done? I want to see who can eat more,” she said. A bashful look on her face that only made the woman smile more. She knew it was a strange request, but she watched the mischievous smile stretch across Andy’s face as well.
They loved these small competitions. Andy or Max would make a comment about beating the other and oh boy, it was game on.
So far, they were tied 4-4. Max wanted to break that tie to see who the winner of their stupid competition was before he left. For the night, she didn’t even want to think about him leaving. She just wanted to enjoy the little bit of time left she had with him.
It took a good 20 minutes for their food to arrive and when it did, Max looked him in the eye. “Okay, only rule, eat until you can’t eat anymore.”
Andy nodded and got his first rib ready. “Okay, ready...”
She got herself ready as well.
“Set.”
They looked each other dead in the eye.
“GO!”
And of course, Andy won. By one rib. Max was devastated at the loss. Never had she found anyone that could actually out eat her at ribs. She was also glad. Their little feud was over.
“Now, what’s next on the agenda tonight?” Andy asked and you looked at the only thing that wasn’t crossed off on his list of things to do and that was go to the island.
“Hoping on the ferry and going to the island,” she said happily. She loved driving on the island. The scenery was beautiful and it never got old to her. When Andy had added that to their list she was over the moon. She could share her treasure with him.
The waitress came back, “finally full?”
Max nodded, she leaned back and let out a sigh. She told the woman that they were delicious and she was having more the next time she came back.
Andy insisted on paying the bill and the woman asked the question that threw the two for a loop. “So when did the two of you start going out?”
“Uh...” she was at a loss. She glanced at Andy and he shrugged his beautiful slime shoulders.
“We’re... not,” he said quietly surprising the girl.
She commented on how cute they were together and that she could totally see the two as a couple. Max wanted that too, but she could not bring herself to telling her secret crush that information.
Andy glanced at her again before suggesting they get going before they missed the sunset on the water. They left and Andy left her a big tip for how incredible she was too them.
***
Andy POV
They were at the other side of the island and the waves were crashing along the large boulders. They sunset was a bright pink and purple and it highlighted Max’s blonde curls amazingly.
“Wave ‘hi’ to New York State,” she said and her blue and silver eyes sparkled with delight. It was clear she loved this place a lot. His heart swelled at the ease she seemed to be in standing on top of one of the rocks, just as a wave crashed.
The sun hit the water giving her a sparkling curtain of pinks, purples and blues, Andy was already about to take a picture and caught the moment perfectly. She was now becoming his wallpaper on his phone.
He went to join her, wanting to share in her joy. He was thinking of admitting the feelings he had for her that night. He didn’t know if he could take not telling her.
“Max,” he said and she turned to look at him with a curious glint in her eye. “I need to tell you something, something important. Now don’t laugh at me promise?”
“Promise,” she held out her pinky for a pinky promise.
“I want you to be mine,” he gushed before he could come up with a way to say that properly. She seemed to wait for him to continue. “I think I am falling in love with you. I know we only just met two weeks ago, but I have never felt this way about anybody before and...”
And her soft lips were on his, cutting him off from his rant. He returned the kiss. Explosions of joy and happiness were filling his chest. Once he pulled away and dropped his gaze to her slightly swollen lips.
“Of course i’ll be yours Batman,” she giggled. “You don’t know how long I have been waiting for you to ask me.”
So for the rest of their time on the island, Andy held Max tight in his arms, kissing her frequently and loving every moment he was spending with her,
He honestly did not want this moment to end, momentarily forgetting that he was leaving tomorrow, that he was in a band and made music at all for that matter.
In that moment, it was just him and her happy and together.

Possession - Zak Bagans x Reader
The Masterlist
Hio Everybody,
I’m back again with another Zak Bagans fanfiction. Ghost Adventures is definitely one of my favourite T.V. shows ever. I love anything paranormal.
WARNING: CONTAINS A SWEAR WORD, DEMONIC POSSESSION AND A NEAR DEATH EXPRIENCE.
I hope you enjoy!
Love you all,
Pandemonium
-----------------------------------------------------------
Before you met Zak Bagans you didn’t think you had what it took to be a paranormal investigator. You were often the subject of bad luck and klutziness falling up, down and in one case - on camera - through the stairs. You were able to hurt yourself in ways that people would often find impossible. Just saying, you cut yourself on a marshmallow once while making rice crispy squares... those fuckers hurt when they are harden over the cereal.
Zak’s presence, however, seemed to be calming the bad luck the longer you were by his side. The more you spent time with him, the less you got hurt.
It was no secret to the others that you had fallen deeply in love with the Ghost Adventurer. Well, to all but Zak at least. Aaron said he was “clueless about your feelings, like all people who the affection is towards.” And you prayed he was right.
You and Zak had known each other for a long time. Nobody really believed you guys when you said that you guys had gone to high school together, but in reality you did. You were just a year behind him.
You had gone to his grad and was his prom date and vice versa. All the time, people thought the two of you were together and it hurt every time the two of you denied it. The affection you had for the man went back so long.
But you moved forward and now you were a member of the Ghost Adventures team. Which only happened after Zak asked you to fill in for Aaron on an investigation when he was sick.
Zak claimed that the extra person was needed for this investigation because the location was so big. It took a lot of convincing, but finally you said you would with the condition that you were by his side the entire time. He said it was a deal.
The investigation went off without a hitch (aside from you falling up the stairs and bursting into laughter). You even went off with a camera on your own in the most dangerous area and captured the best EVP recording the team had ever gotten.
After the end of the investigation, you told them it had been a lot more fun than you were expecting and they hoped you would join them on another investigation. You denied it saying as much as you loved that night, you really didn’t think it was for you.
Turns out, you were a big hit. The fans all the time kept messaging you and the rest of the crew wondering when you were going to be back. So you went on another investigation with them.
The messages of when will you be back turned into messages of when you will be joining the team. This was coupled with the teams begging as well. And so here you were, a year prior, you joined the team to the delight of the fans, and your team.
And now, you were all on an investigation together at Fairchild Insane Asylum for Incurable Men. The place where men who committed crimes use to go when they were proven mentally instable. And this place was no joke.
From the moment you set foot inside the entrance, you became a target for the ghosts inside. While on the tour, the guide said this was a dangerous place for women. Due to this place housing only men for such a long time, they starved to see a woman. And because most of their crimes were against women, things tended to get violent.
You were scared of this place, though you would never admit it on camera or to the people you were on this adventure with. Your shoulders were tense and you were on edge after a long torrent of ghostly assaults.
So far in the investigation you had been pinched, slapped, poked, pushed with all the marks showing on your skin almost instantly and your hair had been pulled (captured on camera thanks to Billy) by various ghosts all throughout the investigation and it was beginning to fray your nerves.
Increasingly by the hour you felt drained and sick. On one occasion, you had to sit down before you passed out. You did not feel like yourself and the others had begun to notice.
Zak ordered Billy to take your camera so you had one less thing to worry about and asked you if you needed to leave. You shook your head no, you didn’t think you could leave even if you wanted to. It felt like this place had a hold on you.
So for the rest of the investigation, you were clutching Zak’s arm tightly and using his camera and his body as a guide throughout the large building. Apparently, the residence of the asylum did not like this one bit.
Your small group stopped for a moment while Zak pulled the SLS camera out of its case. The area you were in was known as ‘Figure Alley’ due to the number of shadow people that presented themselves down this hallway.
The moment you let go of Zak’s arm you felt dizzy. “(Y/N),” Aaron called out, you turned in his direction, just barely being able to make out his outstretched hand in the darkness. You reached for it knowing after all that the SLS camera was a two handed job at times.
“Nothing so far,” Zak commented just as you reached Aarons hand.
“Maybe (Y/N) should try calling out to the spirits, they like her the most...”
You gave a sarcastic laugh, but pulled out your voice recorder. It was a special one, with only six in the world that only picked up sounds. When the area was silent, it was not recording, it was an incredible little device, and your most prized possession.
“Hello, we already know you are out there, make yourself known to us! Make a noise, prove to us that you are strong enough to do something,” almost as soon as you had said that, there was a crash in the room directly beside you.
Stumbling to your right, you went to investigate. The others entered the room and you looked through a camera, the filling cabinet had been knocked over. Old files and papers scattered the floor. One face stuck out.
“Anderson was that you?” You shouted out, the recorder still going. Anderson was the most active ghost in this area, and the most violent. He came to the asylum after he tortured and murdered 15 women. “If that was you, do something else!”
In an instant you dropped to your knees after a searing pain in your back had formed. You couldn’t move, your back felt like fire.
“(Y/N)!” The others called out in fear. All three camera’s caught your fall.
“My back,” was all you could struggle to get out of your mouth.
Zak POV
The second he heard the pain in your voice he was concerned. Quickly he passed the SLS camera over to Aaron and called over the radio to Jay to get over here quick.
He knelt down next to you scrabbling to get his flashlight on so he could look at your back. Once it was out and he twisted it on, he gently lifted your shirt. You shifted and groaned. Your face was in your hands and it concerned him more.
“I’m sorry honey,” he knew his nickname for you would calm you in most circumstances. He slowly lifted the rest of your shirt and shown the light on your back.
It was his turn to gasp. “Holy fuck,” there was an upside down cross made up of six long slashes across your back, all but one of them were bleeding. “Put your camera on this, it needs to be documents. These are likely going to need bandages or something.”
“What?” you said with worry and Zak felt his heart skip a beat at the terror in your voice. He took a picture of it and showed you and saw a tear fall from your normally bright (E/C) eyes.
“There’s a figure kneeling over her,” Aaron said in alarm.
Now Zak had enough. He’d be damned if he was going to let these spirits harm you more than this. He asked you multiple times throughout the investigation if you could handle all the touching and you said you could, but after this, it was too much.
“We’re ending the investigation here,” he said and passed Aaron the case for the SLS camera that he began packing up.
“You needed me here Zak?” Jay said rounding the corner. “Yeah, I need you to take my gear while I help (Y/N). This investigation is over.”
He looked out over the building, he was angry, “you cannot touch her anymore!”
Then he scooped you up into his arms, he had never seen you so fragile before. His words seemed to have carried a negative effect on the patients in the asylum. As he made his way into the hallway, he was shoved by the invisible hands and as he stumble, an invisible obstacle caused him to go crashing to the floor.
You let out a groan, arching your back after it bounced off the floor. Zak felt terrible, apologizing over and over as he tried getting to his feet to help you again.
Billy, Jay and Aaron ran forward to help, but before they got close, Zak felt you get wrenched out of his grasp.
“Zak!” You cried out in fear before you were being pulled out of sight by an unseen force. “ZAK!”
“(Y/N)!” He cried out and ran to find where you went.
***
It took the better part of an hour of hard searching to locate you. Billy called out to the group saying he found you.
Zak’s heart was pounding with relief as he ran to where you were. One look at you and he knew something was wrong. He did not get close enough to touch you and the others looked at him confused.
Without warning, you shot up from the ball you were in and hurtled forward, hands stretched out and quickly wrapping themselves around his neck.
He gasped, barely managing to yank your grip from his throat and pin you down.
You struggled, screaming and cursing in a voice and language that wasn’t yours. You were possessed and he needed to find a way to help you before you ended up dead.
“Get a priest!” He shouted as the thing inside you struggled to get out of his grasp. “Get someone who can get this demon out of her!”
Jay was gone in a flash and Zak began to pray aloud, harder than he had ever prayed before.
“God doesn’t exist...” it hissed along with its string of insults. “God can’t help you. She’s gone..”
“Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
“She is screaming for you to stop.”
“Give us this day our daily bread.”
“You’re killing her.... Your killing her!”
“And lead us not into temptation.”
“She will never love you again.” He did not falter as it said this. He struggled with his grasp on the love of his life, but he did not let go.
“But deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen!”
“She hates you,” it kicked out at him and he struggled. He called out to his love.
“(Y/N), I know you’re in there. You need to fight. Fight to push it, I’ll help you. You can use my strength.”
You were beginning to show visible signs of the possession, your skin was pale and large bruises and cuts began forming on your body.
They formed before his eyes, but he would not stop.
He began to pray again, and after what felt like ages, a priest arrived and the exorcism began.
Listening to (Y/N)’s screams of pain broke his heart. He knew most of it was the entity, but there were moments, the screams of it were mixed with your feminine cries of pain.
He continued to pray. It’s all he could do, it was what was keeping him sane. “She needs encouragement,” the priest said and Zak switched his prayers to a little mantra by (Y/N)’s head, running his fingers through your knotted hair.
“You’ve got this. Fight it. You can beat it, you are strong,” and that repeated for half and hour.
“We’re losing her,” the priest said, causing Zak alarm.
“(Y/N), YOU NEED TO FIGHT THIS! FOR AARON! FOR BILLY! FOR JAY! FIGHT FOR ME (Y/N), I LOVE YOU!” and he planted a kiss on your lips.
You screamed, your back arching and then you were limp. Zak felt for a pulse, it was weak, but it was there. “Is it out of her?”
The priest flicked holy water on you and it did not sizzle, this was (Y/N) again. “We need an ambulance.”
Jay was on the phone once more to get you medical help. Zak picked you up and hurriedly carried you to the entrance. Once he made it to the doorway, he did something he rarely did.
“You may not follow us. You are to stay here. You do not have permission to come.”
The flashing lights came just as your eyes opened. “Zak?”
“(Y/N), don’t speak. You’ve just been through hell.”
You nodded, to weak to do more than that.
***
Your POV
You woke up in the hospital. You turned your head seeing the guys sitting around your bed. All of them were asleep which you thought was cute.
You tried moving your hand, and realized it was locked in Zak’s grip, which you honestly did not mind at all. His hand was warm and soft, you wished you could hold it more often and not just when you almost died because of a possession.
A nurse entered the room in that moment, “ah your awake!”
Her words woke the guys in an instant and you giggled at their groggy expressions. Zak’s face instantly lit up with happiness.
“I guess I am awake yeah,” you said quietly. Your throat was dry and scratchy. “Water.”
Zak grabbed a glass and gave it to you. You finished it in three gulps holding it out for more. He poured more in and you downed that one as well. Once you were done that glass, you gave a sigh. Your throat felt much better.
“Do you remember what happened?” Zak asked.
“I remember being dragged down the hall, and a lot of struggling,” you said. “That thing was constantly showing me pictures of your deaths. Saying I was going to be the reason you all died. Things went dark for a long time, and the next thing I remember is you saying you loved me and something on my lips, then everything went black.”
Zak gave you a sheepish look. So clearly, the thing on your lips were his lips and you were so damn disappointed with yourself that you didn’t feel the joy of it. “By the way, I love you too.”
The first look was instantly replaced with one of happiness. He stood up leaning over. His hand resting beside your head.
Then his lips were against yours again and everything was focused on him. You wrapped your arms around his neck the best you could. Fireworks exploded around you. You were on cloud nine, here with Zak and forgetting the rest of the guys were in the room.
It wasn’t until someone cleared their throat in the background that you and Zak broke apart. His cheeks were set in a blush and you could tell yours were too.
“A little warning next time would be nice,” Aaron said joking around. “Congrats, both of you for finally getting together. The tension was real for a long time there.”
You laughed. You now felt complete. You were so glad you had Zak and the rest of the crew in your life. Things were just made a little sweeter now that Zak was finally yours.
The episode aired a month later, it showed everything up to the point of your possession. which they cut from the show, choosing to have Zak standing out front of the large building and saying what happened. By far, it was the most popular episode you guys ever filmed.

Just saying, this request is awesome and I had a blast writing it. I hope I was able to do your idea justice.

If you have a request idea, just let me know.
WARNING: THIS STORY CONTAINS VERBAL ABUSE AND MURDER.
Love you all,
Pandemonium
-------------------------------------------------------
Sirius Orion Black was your everything. It didn’t matter to you that he was part of some mafia gang, he always treated you like a queen and gave you the world. He said it was what you deserved. Though you didn’t always believe him.
You loved the moments you spent alone with. The lazy days where you just laid with your head on his lap, the breeze playing against your skin as you sat in his private back yard. Or the days where he took you on dates, or went for long walks.
What you loved must were the days where you just stayed with him in bed most of the day and just cuddled. He gave the best cuddles.
It was unfortunate that these days happened so rarely. You were often stuck at home with your toxic family.
A day like today, was one of the days you wished you were with Sirius. You were in your room, you hadn’t eaten in three days after their last slew of insults. Your families favourite pass time was making fun of you.
You heard all that time that you needed to lose weight because of how fat you were, and that you were ugly because of all the weight. They said you took up too much space.
You were also used to being called a waste of space, useless, a cow, among other hurtful things.
Though you were used to all the insults, it still hurt and often caused you to stop eating. It would take Sirius a long time to get you to eat something and the on-slot of insults would come and the cycle would repeat again. It was wearing you thin, and you didn’t know how much more you could take before you did something stupid to yourself.
You really did wish they would stop and just love you instead, but that was a no go. The day your family stopped insulting you was the day the pope would come to your house for dinner, and not the living pope, the dead ones.
There was a tap on your window. You turned around and saw that lovely face of Sirius looking at you through the glass. You slid your window open and allowed him to crawl in.
He sat on your bed, the look of concern you knew too well on his face.
“How long has it been this time?” You tried acting like you had no idea what he was talking about. “(Y/N), I’m being serious.”
“Three days,” you let your head drop not meeting his eyes. You couldn’t. You knew he would be disappointed and you hated that look on his face. “I don’t know how much longer I can do this Sirius. I can’t handle much more from them Sirius.”
You began to sob, pressing your hands against your eyes. He pulled your hands away from your face and pulled you into a hug. You wrapped your hands tightly around him and sobbed harder into his shoulder. “I can’t do it.”
“(Y/N), the offer still stands, move in with me and you won’t ever have to worry about them again,” he said and you protested.
“I don’t want to be a burden to you,” you whispered. You remembered all your families insults included you being a burden to them and to Sirius. “What about them? Do you know what they would do if I left and they lost their favourite punching bag?”
“Don’t you worry about them, I’ll take care of them,” he said. “Pack your bags and come with me. Please.”
It wasn’t often that you heard that pleading in his voice. You nodded and got your things together. Within the next hour, you got everything you held precious in your heart, your clothes and other amenities and were in his room lying on his bed.
He was laying next to you playing with your (h/c) hair with gentle fingers. He always knew how to make you fall asleep, and soon your eyes drifted shut.
Sirius POV
It made him so angry seeing you lying on his bed looking so broken, knowing it was your family that did this to you. He was going to take care of them once and for all. No more would they be able to hurt you. No more would you hear the insults they threw at you.
He had enough of picking up your broken pieces and putting you back together when you could just be whole and happy all the time.
He went to their house. He knocked on the door, but not waiting for an answer, he knocked the door over striding into the house.
“The fuck are you doing!” Your father shouted, producing a gun.
Sirius growled, his vicious side coming out. Few people knew his ability of becoming a giant dog. He and the mafia he was part of were the only people he knew of that could change their forms. (Y/N) had the ability too, but he refused to allow her to join until she could be his and only his.
Because so few people knew of this ability, he intended to use that side today, to tear them limb from limb and make them unrecognizable.
“Sirius what are you doing here?” Your mother said coming into the room, she always had a thing for flirting with Sirius when your father wasn’t in the room, he thought it was disgusting. It always made his skin crawl.
“Fucker just comes barging in here!” your father says waving the gun around. Sirius wasn’t scared. He was angry, when he felt intensely angry, no other emotion could permeate. “He’s probably here to get that fat bitch and bring her to his house to fill up like the disgusting cow she is.”
Your mother laughed at that and the switch flipped in Sirius’s head. That was all he needed. He snarled, sinking to all fours and becoming the great black dog everyone associated with death.
He lounged for your father first. His claws sank into his chest and the man began to scream as he was forced onto his back on the floor. As a dog, you were his mate, and nobody hurt his mate without paying for it. And once he mated, he was mated for life. He would love you and love you forever.
His jaws opened and he snapped at the mans arm shaking him like a toy before his arm tore away. He screamed more and Sirius moved on to clawing and ripping away at the rest of his body until he stopped moving. Blood covered the living room. He was satisfied with his work.
The woman laughed again hysterically, “you did that all for me didn’t you handsome. Now we can be together without any interruptions. Dump (Y/N) and be with me instead.”
Sirius turned to her and walked closer. He snapped at her quickly, making quick work of her. Once she too was dead he made his way back to your father and lifted his leg, urinating on his remains and left the house. If you would have had any siblings, he would have either saved them, or killed them as well, but you were the only child, which made his job easy.
He didn’t become human again until he was in his house. He made his way to his room where you were still sleeping. He prayed he wouldn’t wake you up before he could get into the bathroom. He looked at you for a moment, all the love he felt for you bubbling up in his chest.
Quickly, he turned away and began gathering his things for a shower. He didn’t want you seeing him covered in blood.
Your POV
You woke up with a yawn and noticed Sirius with his back to you. He was covered in blood, and all sleepiness was removed from you.
“Sirius, is that your blood?” He frozen and turned around.
“No,” was all he said.
“Who’s is it then?”
“Promise you won’t be mad at me?” That question made you worry for a moment.
“I promise, just tell me who’s blood it is.”
“Your parents. I told you I’d take care of them and I did,” he said it quickly, pleading with you with his eyes not to be mad at him.
You never would have thought Sirius would do such a thing for you. It made your heart swell with love, how could you be angry with this man for setting you free. You smiled.
“I’m not mad at you. Thank you,” you whispered, standing up and walking over to him. You hugged him tight, not caring if you got blood all over you. You needed Sirius to see how grateful you were.
“Now that they were taken care of, we can move on with our life,” he said eagerly. “We’ll build our own family, with little pups of our own. I’ll start right now.”
He picked you up, carrying you into the bathroom. You giggled, you loved this man so much.

Old Assignments p.4
The Masterlist
Heyo Everyone,
This one is the shortest of the bunch and again it is about dialogue that reads natural and fits with the situation.
I realized, I should have added this to all the other ones, but let me know if you want me to lengthen any of these stories. I would gladly do that.
I hope you all enjoy.
Love you all,

Character and Dialogue Writing Exercise 2:
She got her cell and was barely able to tap 911. Shock. Dry mouth. Urine. “The beach...Port Stanley....there’s a..................
“a fucking body!” She stumbled over her words as she tried to run but her legs were like jelly and she fell to her knees. “It’s all... It’s all torn up and... bloated!”
“Ma’am, ma’am, calm down,” the operator said.
“You’re telling me to... to calm down?” she pressed a clammy palm to her forehead, “oh god, I'm going to be sick!”
“Can you tell me your name?” the question made her rack her brain. Seeing the body left her mind reeling. She thought momentarily of her horse and then went back to thinking about her name. “Da-Danica Jones.”

Hio Everyone,
Any good story has good dialogue and the point of this assignment was to test our ability to write dialogue that reads as natural conversation in real life. It also needed to make sense for the situation the characters were thrown into.
I hope you enjoy.

Character Appropriate Dialogue
Tammy’s rant about the gossip she heard was becoming annoying. I really wasn’t in the mood for that kind of talk tonight. I needed light hearted. Book talk. The latest movie.
“Tammy, I love you. Please, I don’t need to hear about Connie hooking up with Mark for the seventh time,” I said finally. “Can we talk about something that doesn’t consist of other people?”
She mopped for a moment. “Well, what am I meant to talk about then? Life is so boring for me right now.”
It was silent in the car for a moment as the radio played. “Reports are saying that an unidentified flying object has been spotted landing just minutes north of Kingston Ontario...”
“Oh. My. GOD!” Tammy cried out nearly hitting her head on the roof of the car with all her bouncing. “Marissa, we have to check it out!”
“No, I think whatever it is, it’s nothing,” I said.
“Seriously? You wanted to talk about something different. Something different,” she said while using air quotes around ‘something different’ “just landed in your lap on a silver platter and you don’t want to check it out? Mar come on!”
I glanced over at Tammy, her pleading eyes wide. “Come on. You know you wanna.”
I sighed, “find the location.”
She squealed and quickly found it telling me where to go. “We’re only going for a little bit. I’m getting tired and I wanna go home.”

Hio,
This assignment was just for fun to show how well we could auto-write. For those who don’t know what auto-writing is, it is where you just write non-stop whatever comes to your brain in that moment. With this exercise, it is meant to get the creative juices flowing.
With this, grammar and editing do not matter so it may not be my best work.
Love you all,
Pandemonium

Auto-writing Exercise
I knew I wasn’t human, but that didn’t stop the flood of emotions I felt on a regular basis. I could laugh. I could cry. I could scream in anger. I could become jealous. All things human, all things I was not meant to feel but did.
I even had a guardian to watch over me as I took human classes in school and did all things human aside from eating. Everyone chattered happily in the cafeteria as I plugged in, in a closet. That’s when I cried most. Those were the moments I knew I didn’t fit in.
In recent months I noticed my guardian becoming sick. A man that was once strong was becoming frail and I was becoming worried. He would always look my way and say, “Alton, you’re going to be just fine when I die. You will make the world a place that’s good for everyone.”
I never believed him, what was the point if the moment he died, they would hunt me down and decommission me. I was meant as a companion, and evolved to be more human. They saw this as scary.
I was at school the day he collapsed. I rushed to the hospital he was in almost breathless though I didn’t exactly need air.
“Alton, come closer...” He said quietly. I knew he didn’t have much time left now. “I have something I need to tell you.”
I moved close to hear my guardians last words. “You were made to destroy...”

The Masterlist
Hio Everybody,
So I have been away from the laptop for a few days after being very busy with my jobs and family coming in to visit, so I haven’t had time to write much.
Either way, I was combing through old files tonight and found a series of old assignments for a creative writing class I took and decided to publish them. I will let you know however that these will not edited and some are very short. Like very short.
Before each short story, I will do my best to explain the reason behind the assignment. For this one, it was conflict writing. The Professor wanted to test our skills with writing conflicts unfolding and happening.
Enjoy, I guess.
Love you all,
Pandemonium

 Conflict Writing Exercise
The music floated softly around the kitchen and mixed with the sounds of sizzling bacon. Alex stood before the large stove watching the sunny sky slowly begin turning to a darkened black.
They were due for rain in her small rural town and she loved the feeling on her skin. She hummed along to the next song on the radio as she turned the bacon over in the pan.
It was mid-afternoon and because Alex had woken up at 11, she had decided to make an early dinner. She was having her best friend Alanna’s family over tonight and they were due to come within an hour.
Allana’s daughter and husband were bacon fiends, so she was making at least four pounds. She too had a bacon addiction. One that would only be cured with more bacon.
Suddenly, a gut feeling had her turning the stove off and making her way outside. Phone in hand so she could keep listening to the radio. She turned it up once she made it to the porch caught the tail end of what the weatherman was saying, “Tornado warning in affect...”
She turned it off, she couldn’t listen to anymore. Alex was on the phone in an instant and calling Alanna, “Don’t come over.”
She could hear the confusion as her friend spoke. “What? Alex why not?”
“We are under tornado warning...” She choked out. The wind was beginning to pick up. “It’s going to happen Al, I can feel it. Don’t come over. You don’t live in the area and I want you to be safe.”
The pleading in her voice convinced her friend to agree not to come with the family and they said their goodbyes.
Alex looked briefly over at the darkening clouds. The wind was growing harder and whipped her brown locks across her face stinging her cheeks. She pulled it into a ponytail to keep it out of her face. A storm was coming. It was a time that most people would be panicking, yet Alex was calm only for a few moments as the brief hope that it wasn’t coming continued jumbling in her mind.
The sirens began blaring into the afternoon scrambling people from their rural homes and dragging them to shelters nestled deep beneath the Earth’s surface. Alex now began to tremble.
Alex was terrified of tornadoes. After the death of her parents on her 16th birthday, her fascination for the powerful storms had turned to fear. A paralyzing fear that ran so deep she was traumatized even 10 years later.
It was well before the storm was to arrive and she was moving on automatic to the only security she had in these moments. She glanced out again watching as the tornado formed maybe a kilometer in front of her and moving towards her.
She was about to close the door when a shrill cry caught her attention. She saw a mama with her kittens. She wasn’t going to leave them behind even if it meant she would need to leave her shelter and get them. She searched for a box to put them all in quickly.
She found what she was looking for and started forward as the tornado raced to meet her. She was at them in a minute and scooping them all into a box.
She swore to herself when the mama was being uncooperative and continuously scratched and growled at her. “DO YOU WANT TO DIE!!!” She cried out in panic as the tornado crept even closer.
Finally, she had enough and scooped the mother cat up and unceremoniously dumped her in the book. She bolted to her shelter making it with only minutes left before the tornado passed right over her.

Outed - Remus Lupin x (fem)Reader
The Masterlist
The library was empty as usual save for the occasional student here and there. (Y/N) sat in a corner reading her charms book trying to study for a test that was coming up. She didn't get many tests with Professor Flitwick's class, but she always did well with these. Today, however, her mind was somewhere else entirely.
Remus Lupin.
That's right. Her fellow marauder and best friend since the beginning of her days at Hogwarts. He was stuck in her head after being in close contact during a project in transfiguration. His hand brushed against hers and the contact set her stomach ablaze with a sweet feeling of attraction.
She never expected to fall so deeply for the boy, but she did. There was just so much she loved about him. It was just that he was handsome and literally had to be cut from the same cloth for all the books they read combined. Or the fact that he was always so sweet to her, knew what she loved and what she hated, or even that he knew when and what to bring her when she was on her period.
Of all the people in the world, Remus understood (Y/N) best. He knew how to make her smile if she was down, he knew the next book she should read. Or the moments she was struggling with something and came to her rescue.
The quiet boy took her heart easily and she prayed he would not break it on her. She didn't know if she could handle that.
"Earth to (Y/N)," a hand was waved before her face and she jerked back into reality. Sirius was sitting in front of her. She had been staring intensely at the same page of her book for a while it seemed. "Falling asleep? Or are you daydreaming about Moony again?"
Alarmed, she shot a glare at Sirius noticing Remus was there as well. Immediately, alarm turned to shame and she stood up in an instant hurrying out. She mumbled a curse in Sirius's direction and exited the library to find her hiding spot.
She had been outed in front of Remus. She couldn't believe Sirius at this moment. Why would he do such a thing? It would be one thing to do that while he wasn't there, but he practically said it to Remus's face! She was so angry and soon, she couldn't help the tears that fell.
Her chances with Remus were ruined. Gone. Over. Finished. How would he ever look at her the same after being outed like that? She thought back to the look on his face when Sirius made the comment and it was shock. That had to mean he did not feel the same.
Now she would never be able to face him again and he was her biggest comfort and the one person she could truly rely on. It was all gone with so few words she lost everything she cared about in an instant.
The door opened to the hidden classroom on the second floor. Not looking up to see who it is, she turned away from the door and tried to hide her face.
"Go away James," she grunted. "I don't want to hear you trying to explain Sirius's actions to me."
"What if it's not James?" Oh God, it was Remus.
She turned to look at him, the tracks staining her cheeks red, "Remus?"
He walked over and sat down beside her on the stone ledge leading to the open window. "Was what Sirius said true?"
"What part?"
"The daydreaming about me? Be honest. Remember, I know when you're lying."
She hid her face again. And here came the rejection. She could feel the blow before it came.
"Yes," she whispered, sinking her face even further into her hands.
"I couldn't quite hear you," he said and gently removed her hands from her face. He was on his knees before her. His face showed the gentleness he was exerting.
"Yes."
And his lips were on hers. Love burst in her chest at the contact and she wrapped her arms around his neck to try and hold on to the moment.
She could not believe Remus was kissing her. She was in awe at how soft his lips were, how they molded perfectly with hers. She was aware of every nerve ending that touched him. It was electric and charged her with love.
Finally, the mundane need for air pulled them away from each other and she was breathless.
Remus looked breathless as well and it was a look she doubted she would ever get used to.
"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that," he said. Their foreheads were still touching and he had one hand rested on her cheek.
"Could it be as long as I have wanted you to do that?" she murmured back brushing her lips against his once more. The spark ignited her happiness again.
"And how longs that been?"
"Since week one."
He laughed and nodded, "pretty much."
All her anger for Sirius was gone. She was glad at that moment that she was outed.

Space Bear
The Masterlist
Heyo Everyone,
So this is a nightmare I had once a very long time ago and it’s just never left my memory. I can’t let it go so I wrote it down as a short story.
There are a few things I added to the story to make it make sense like a name and a birthday for the child.
The reason I am posting this now is because I have been going through a string of rough nightmares that have left me feeling tired and drained in the morning when I get up and I needed to share at least one.
Love you all,
Pandemonium
“In fact I have nightmares about having children. I want to carry a baby and feel the life within me and in my dream, I do. But every time after it's born, there's this incredible fear, this pounding pulse of fear. It's a real bad nightmare.” - Sharon Gless
It is a calm summer day, Alex is playing outside our large grassy yard under the cloudy blue sky. I watch as he climbs the giant old maple tree with a knot in its trunk.
He is a small boy for 6 years old.  His hair is a sandy colour like mine and his eyes are bluer than the ocean. Alex is my pride and joy, there is no doubt about it.
After my boyfriend left, I was alone, pregnant and with nothing. I did however manage to scrap by a living and give Alex a good life once he was born.
I felt terrible though, that he would never meet the man I had once considered the love of my life. But that was the past and I was sure as hell going to raise him to be a better man. He would learn how to treat a woman right. Or a man, should he be gay.
I am watching closely from the kitchen window as he slowly makes his way up the tree. The branches are firm and low to the ground so I am not too worried about him hurting himself.
Once he gets to a branch level with the window, he waves at me with a bright smile on his face that I’m more than happy to return. That’s when he loses his balance and topples from the tree.
I’m out the door in a flash and at his side. He’s screaming in pain and terror as he lifts his now oddly bent arm. He already managed to pull himself to his knees. “Oh, baby.” I say to him as soothing as I can.
Masking my own terror and panic, I scoop him up into my arms and bring him to our car. I know an ambulance will take forever to get here, so driving is the fast option.
He hiccups a few more screams as tears pour from his face.
“Mama’s going to get you to the hospital quick,” I try to reassure my screaming boy calmly. “Just you hold on baby.”
He can’t even muster the words to tell me how much it hurt, I just watch as his face stays screwed up in pain through the mirror as I make the 10 minute drive to the hospital. I wish I had brought his favourite bear with me.
The hospital isn’t big. It’s a five story, long building that overlooks a busy road. After I pull into the parking lot, I bring him into the emergency room that is only occupied by a triage nurse and a woman with a bump on her head.
The nurse waves us into the small triage room, with a large oak desk covered in papers and charts. In the corner is a big desktop computer. The process of questioning soon begins.
“What happened?” Her voice is high pitched. I don’t understand why I find it annoying. It just sounds like she is sucking helium.
“He fell out of a tree, I am 100% sure he broke his arm.”
“Let me see?” I gently help Alex lift his arm up and she sees the way it was bent.
She hums and takes note of it before moving on to further questioning.
“Name?”
“Alexander David Murphy.”
“Birthday?”
“July 25, 2014”
“So age 6?” I nod at the stupid question.
“Okay, fill out this accident report,” she says thrusting a board with a long yellow paper on it. “And we’ll get Alexander in as soon as possible.”
I blow out a puff of exasperation, they can’t just get him in now? I usher my still screaming and crying son to the waiting area. We get looks of sympathy from the woman who bumped her head and a man with a small child in his lap who was asleep with red cheeks and a red runny nose.
It doesn't take long for me to fill out the paperwork and hand it in. My son’s getting used to the pain by now, but I can tell it still hurts because he is still whimpering.
"Mama, when will they help me?" He cries. I rub his back. He’s sitting in my lap, chest pressed to mine. The one good arm he has is wrapped around me and clinging to my shirt tight.
"Soon honey," I say and I’m finally right. The nurse in deep blue scrubs enters the room through a swinging door, “Alexander Murphy?”
We get up and follow her into the next area which is a set of rooms separated by light blue curtains. She introduces herself as Shelby Marsh. She has short brown hair and green eyes. She is tall and beautiful.
“So, it says here he broke his arm?”
I’m getting more frustrated, “yes, he did, can you hurry and get the x-ray done so we can get a cast on my poor baby?”
Maybe mama bear is coming out. She sighs loudly and goes to find the doctor.
He’s next to come in and he is with a man with a portable x-ray machine. I am happy my child doesn’t need to move around more. Each time he moves, it agitates him and causes him more pain.
I hate watching my son in any kind of anguish, all good moms feel this.
It takes a long time and finally we are leaving the hospital with a blue cast on his small left arm that goes to his elbow.
He is hopped up on drugs and passed out, so at least he isn’t in pain right now. I pull into a McDonald’s parking lot and stop the car. “Hey, Alex, baby wake up, do you want dinner?”
He grumbles and rubs his eyes. “Wha?” He blinks a few times before fully opening his eyes and looks at me.
I chuckle, “we’re at McDonald’s” he shoots right up and I chuckle at his excitedness. “Can I play in the play place mama?”
“Not tonight baby, it’s already past your bedtime and you have school in the morning,” I earn a whine for that one.
“Now, now mr. If you eat all your dinner and go straight to bed when we get home, we can have a movie day next weekend and you can stay up as long as you can.”
“Promise?” I nod. He cheers and begins dragging me towards the lineup.
“One cheeseburger happy meal with chocolate milk and a McChicken with an extra chicken patty and mayo.”
“Your drink with that?”
“Coke,” I say, I lean in closer and whisper, “two apple pies,” while taking my debit card out of my wallet.
I tap the card once on the machine and move to the side to wait for our food.
Alex’s holding my hand preoccupied by something else off in the different area of the fast food joint.
Once we collect our food, I bring Alex to a table and we chow down on our meal in a peaceful silence. I can see he is still tired from the pain medication and stressful day we had.
The garbage is tossed out and we are on our way out the door. Before I have a chance to grab his hand, Alexander is bolting out into the parking lot. “ALEXANDER DAVID!!!!!” I shout angrily, he stops mid stride and turns back to me. He knows I am mad.
“What have I told you?” I say taking a hold of his hand and looking at both sides of the parking lot before I start walking with Alex.
“Don’t just run out. Look both ways,” he says in a pouty voice.
“Pouting isn’t going to get you out of trouble Mr.” I say as I place him in his car seat. “I have said that many times to you. You are going to get yourself hurt one of these days Alex.”
He nods and cries out he is sorry, “it’s okay to be sorry, but you need to learn to look both ways. For not listening to me again, you are losing T.V. time before bed tomorrow and you will go to bed early.”
He nods his little head again, “okay mama.”
***
I pull the blanket up to his nose and kiss his forehead. Alex has already fallen asleep by the time we get home so I carry him to his space themed room and put his pyjamas on. He turns over and cuddles into his stuffed space bear.
I pull the door closed quietly and smile as I tiptoe to my room. I too get ready for bed after a long stressful day.
***
Three weeks go by quickly and it’s soon time for us to head back to the hospital and have his cast removed. We go to the children section - which contractors must have been stupid to put it on the top floor - and I sign us in. Luckily, we have an appointment, which means, no wait time.
We get called back and the same nurse from our first visit, Nurse Shelby Marsh, is helping here as well. "Oh, Mr. Murphy you're back already?" She gleanes a smile over at Alexander and ruffles his hair. “And you brought a little buddy!”
Alexander holds up his space bear with his free arm and waves it around proudly.
"Yup! I get my cast off today!" He’s already so excited. I know the cast has been itchy on him and he hated not being able to sleep with his arm under his head like he normally does. He is practically buzzing with happy energy at the thought of getting the awful cast off.
“Well first we have to give you an x-ray to see if your bones healed properly,” Nurse Marsh says. He pouts and looks towards me, “will I get my cast off mama?”
“I’m sure you will baby,” I ruffle his hair myself and the doctor is back with a different man with an x-ray machine.
***
The doctor comes into the room, his face is grave and I can only assume the worst, “Ma’am, can you come into the hallway with me?” I nod and turn to the beautiful nurse. “Watch my kid?”
She is quick to agree and turns back to talking with Alex again. I follow the doctor into the bustling hallway.
“What’s wrong,” I say, folding my arms against my chest.
“Alexander’s arm hasn’t healed properly. If we don’t fix it, he could have difficulty using his arm or even deformity in the future,” his voice was calm, cool and accurate.
“And how will you go about fixing this?” I ask sternly, I just want answers for my baby. He has suffered so much with this cast already, I wanted this to be over for him soon. I feel I have suffered as much as he did.
“We will need to re-break his bone and set it properly. A new cast will be put in place of the old one and he will come back in another three weeks to have it removed,” he says. “I wanted to tell you first so I didn’t spook your boy.”
I appreciate his concern for the feelings of my son, “and you want me to break the bad news?”
“Mom always knows the best way to say it.”
I nod and re-enter the room with the doctor only to see a ruffled bed and Alex gone. I walk over to the nurse, “where’s Alexander?”
She turns to point at the bed and freezes noticing he is gone, “I just turned away for a minute!”
I bolt out of the room as the doctor calls for security, “ALEXANDER DAVID!”
I continue to shout his name as panic consumes me. What if he is taken? What if he was lured away? He is such a small, cute, gullible boy.
“ALEX!” I shout again, the voices of Nurse Marsh and the doctor join mine as we search the floors. Tears are flowing down my cheeks. “A-ALEXANDER! WHERE ARE YOU!”
We all meet at the nurses station, nobody has found him inside the hospital. That is when I realize, if he is not inside, “he's outside.” I bolt towards the elevators smashing my finger against the down button.
I growl when it takes too long and bolt towards the stairs. I am still crying, but I am determined to get downstairs before he ends up taken.
Fear is driving me faster and faster towards the stairwell and down the stairs. I’m praying Alex is okay as my feet pound down and down and down. Be alive, be okay, don’t be taken. Alex PLEASE! I repeat those words over and over in my head.
I am out of the stairwell and towards the hospital’s exit in an instant. I see him. He is heading towards the road driven by the curiosity of a flock of birds in the field just beyond the hospital.
“ALEX!” I shout, he is on the road. “ALEX COME BACK BABY!”
I am so close, I am at the roadside, he is in the middle, my heart is swelling with joy and panic at once. My boy is alive and okay, but he is on a busy road.
I set one foot onto the road when a transport comes speeding down the road and smashes into my baby boy.
“ALEX!” I scream in terror. A loud sob is ripped from my voice as the transport drives by leaving my baby on the road, bloody and broken.
I scream and run to his body. "ALEX! ALEX, BABY WAKE UP!"
I grab a hold of my little boy and pull him to the side of the road. I am wailing his name and crying for him to wake up. He is lifeless in my arms.
“ALEX WAKE UP PLEASE WAKE UP!”
I rock with him against my chest, before realizing his arm had fallen to the dirty road. He’s falling apart in my arms. “NO! NO! ALEX, PLEASE BABY! WE CAN HAVE A MOVIE NIGHT! I-I-I’LL BY ALL THE CANDY YOU CAN EAT IT ALL!”
I continue to sob, screaming and fighting as the doctor and security guard pull me and Alex apart for the last time.
I kick, wriggle, call his name. Beg them to let me go. I am flailing my arms, dropping my dead weight to the ground. Anything to get away from this man so I can hold my baby again.
They drag me across the street and back to the hospital.
His space bear lay in the middle of the road untouched by the horrors that just occurred.

All Fall Down p.3 - Eric x OC
The Masterlist
Chapter 3: Divergent
Two years later
I barely survived the past two years with my father. As I thought after leaving the hospital, it only got worse for me. Marcus had beaten me unconscious on more than one occasion and the rapes became more aggressive the less I reacted.
At least three more times I ended up in the hospital, usually when a new report from Erudite comes out stating he beats me. In a drunken rage, he would beat me until I broke something, or nearly bleed out, or both.
Today I was sitting in the cafeteria waiting to take my aptitude test with my faction. Tomorrow, I would go to Dauntless and join my brother. I hope that he remembers me. I have changed so much since I was 14.
"Maxine Eaton..." I tuned the rest of the names out after hearing mine and stood up to follow the Abnegation woman to my testing room. I thank her as she shows me the door I must enter.
A woman in black with tan skin and piercings comes into view as I entered the room. "My name is Tori, I will be administering your test today Miss Eaton," her voice is bland as if she has been saying the same thing all day, which I am certain she has. I don't even pay attention to the mirrors around me not caring what I would look like.
"What is it with Abnegation and mirrors?" She says curiously and I smile at her sitting in the chair. "It's self-indulgent to look in a mirror for too long. If we get in our heads that we are beautiful, we will walk around the place like we own it. Let our hair down, be wild. And please Tori, call me Maxine, I hate my last name."
She smirks, "Hate is a strong word for your faction. I never heard of an Abnegation with humour." I give her a sly smile as she hands me a glass with a clear foul-smelling liquid. "Maybe I am transferring to Dauntless. What's this?" She doesn't answer just motions me to drink it. So I do.
I wake up in the cafeteria. It's empty which confuses me and I look around before the voice of the woman I know too well rings throughout the room. "Choose."
I see two pedestals with baskets resting on them, one with a knife and the other with cheese. "Why? What are these for?" Jeanine's voice is harsher, "CHOOSE!" I fold my arms across my chest in defiance. "Very well,"
The pedestals disappear and snarling comes from behind me. I turn around and see a large wild dog. Now I understand what each option was for. It moves forward closely and I rake my mind for a way to deal with it.
I think back to one of my science classes with lessons about dogs and remember hearing about keeping eye contact is a show of aggression. I move my eyes to the floor and sit on the ground as the dog bounds towards me. I close my eyes and I feel a tongue?
The dog was licking me as I open my eyes. I give a small laugh and get to my feet again. I pet the dog for a bit before a voice echos around me. "Puppy!" Oh no.
The dog is snarling again and runs after the little girl in a pure white dress. "NO!" I scream and run to jump onto the dogs back.
I blink and find myself on a crowded bus. I look for a seat and find the only one is behind me. I take a seat.
I stand to allow someone to sit and an old man wearing black and white holds a newspaper saying "Brutal Murderer Finally Apprehended." He looked familiar, I just couldn't seem to place him.
The man notices me starring at the paper, "Do you know him?" I look him in the eye, he is Candor, he knows when I lie, "Yes, he looks familiar, I just can't seem to place him, sir." He begins to scream that I saved him making everyone angry and uncomfortable.
"Sir you need to calm down, these people are getting mad, I don't want them to hurt you." He keeps going so I wrap him in a hug and finally he calms down. At the next stop, I get off the bus.
I open my eyes and Tori is starring at me. "I did it all wrong didn't I?" I say looking sad. She shakes her head no before standing up and leaving the room. Coming back after a few long agonizing moments she finally gives me an answer, "There is no way to do the test wrong, your results were inconclusive, you got an equal aptitude for all five factions."
I gasped, I knew what that means, Marcus told me. "I am divergent. How? What do I do?" She looks at me unsure for a minute before finally answering. "You tested Erudite when you were submissive towards the dog, Dauntless when you jumped onto the dog, Abnegation when giving up your seat for another person, Candor for telling the man the truth and Amity when you comforted him to keep the peace." I nod, it makes sense.
"I put your test results as Abnegation. Don't tell anyone, being divergent is very dangerous for you. You could end up dead. I suggest you either stay in Abnegation or transfer to Amity, there are no serums during initiation there."
I nod, thanking her before I exit the room and begin to head home. I needed to have dinner on the table before Marcus arrives.
I thought about my choice, Tori said to stay away from Dauntless, but my brother is there. I made a pact with him. Without much deliberation, I decided I am going to stick with going to Dauntless and if I die, at least I got to see my brother again. Hopefully.
***
I just finished dinner and placed the plates on the table when Marcus returns. He slams the door closed.
I sigh and walk to the door to help him remove his coat and put it away. "Hello father, how was work?" I remove his coat and he watches my every movement as I put it on the simple coat rack. His eyes darting across my body.
"Terrible," was his short gruff answer as he throws himself into the chair. I nod taking my seat beside him. If I sat anywhere different, he would beat me. His hand lands on my lap and I freeze. "Results?" I stammer for a moment before saying Abnegation, He smirks, "Good."

Songbird p.2 - Andy Biersack x OC
The Masterlist
Chapter Two: Bonding
It was the next day and Max was waiting patiently for the gorgeous man to exit the hotel so they could hang out for the day. She had no idea what they were going to do because she lived in such a boring city and nothing was entertaining to her anymore.
She hoped with Andy, she would be able to see the joy her city once brought her come back.
It didn’t take much time for Andy to leave the hotel and place himself in the passenger seat of the car. Her car wasn’t old, but it wasn’t new. It was definitely a point A to point B kind of car.
“Hello Mr Biersack,” she made sure to stretch his name.
He gave her a slight grin as she waited to hear the sound of the seatbelt clicking into place. “Good morning Miss Carter,” he said in return. She scrunched up her face at the sound of her last name. She despised it greatly.
She looked over his way, “did you have anything in mind for today?”
He nodded and pulled out a little slip of paper. “I wrote down things that we could do, if you know where to go.”
She scanned the list, “bowling, go karting, movies - that one’s easy, the theatre is right there.” He glanced and gave a sheepish ‘oh’ in recognition. “Let’s see, yes, yes, yes. I know where they all are. Where did you want to begin?”
“How 'bout I beat your ass in go karting,” he said with a sly grin on his face.
“Oh you’re on,” she said, putting the car in drive.
It wasn’t a far drive from the hotel to the go karting range and she was happy for that. She was excited for their adventure today. “Normally, I don’t go because I have no one to go with, but I assure you that I have wicked moves on the track.”
“You don’t go with Tessa and Allie?” he asked. His head was tilted to the side, she noticed as she glanced towards him. Her heart swelled with how absurdly adorable it was.
“Allie is not interested in this stuff and Tessa can’t drive to save her life and it is not fun for either of us.” She thought of all the people she thought were her friends, “all my quote unquote other friends are just around to use me. Or are too old for this sort of stuff.”
He sighed, “then I will have to come around a lot more.” He seemed to like teasing her. Though when she thought about it, she really didn’t mind the thought of him coming back and spending more time with her.
Max turned into the parking lot of the small go kart track and parked her car. “Hey Andy, are you ready to eat my dust?”
“Nah, you’re going down,” he said, making a crash and burn gesture.
She smirked, “whoever loses pays for lunch at the winner’s choice?” She held a hand out to him hoping he would make the deal. Secretly, she wanted his calloused hand in hers for just a moment, she couldn’t figure out why. He stretched his hand out and placed it in her’s, giving it a firm shake.
She nearly melted at the small contact, “deal.”
She slipped away with a smile and ran towards the little booth to pay. “Half an hour? Or an hour? It’s $10 for every 10 minutes.”
He thought for a moment and looked at the time, “let’s do half an hour and then we can go for lunch since I couldn’t get my ass out of bed in this morning. You’ll be paying.”
She grinned, she didn’t have a ton of money, but she could pay for them if it came down to it. She was sure of it.
Once they paid for their time, she sat in a bright purple kart while Andy sat in one with the batman logo on it. She giggled, “ok Batman, you’re going down. Not even the power of Bruce Wayne can help you right now.”
He smirked at the comment, "you're going down songbird." And with that they were given the green flag to go and Max raced off leaving Andy in her dust.
***
Andy POV
He couldn’t believe she actually beat him. 50 minutes later they were sitting in the restaurant looking through the menu. Andy had lost so as per the deal, he was buying lunch.
What surprised him wasn't that she chose an expensive restaurant, no, she choose A&W and asked for a chicken burger and poutine. Andy was shocked at the Canadianness of that moment.
He still hadn't tried the Canadian delicacy of fries, cheese and gravy so he too ordered one.
"Would you believe I've been in Canada so many times and I still haven't tried poutine?" She looked at him in horror and gasped.
"Then you are in for a treat. If I could, this would be the meal I ate 24/7," she said shoveling a forkful into her mouth. “That and a nice juicy T-Bone.”
Andy thought Max was beautiful and after repeatedly denying it, he realized she did not see the beauty he did. It's more like he noticed she saw a broken person that didn't belong in a world of incredible people.
He looked towards his own poutine and stabbed the fries, cheese and gravy with his fork. He looked over to Max who was watching him expectantly. He braved it and put the mouthful to his lips then ate it.
It exploded with goodness in his mouth and his eyes went wide, “how the fuck have I not had this before?!” He cried out in happiness.
Max POV
Max giggled at his excitement as he took another bite, everyone in the store had their eyes on them and she felt really uncomfortable, she wasn’t big on being noticed. Things tended to happen when she was noticed.
She looked around at them as they turned back to their food. All but one, “Sorry, he’s American, he’s never experienced poutine before.”
The man gave a look of recognition and went back to what he was doing. Andy kept eating happily enjoying every bite of his food. Max thought it was cute.
“So Andy, what bought you to this stupid town in the first place?” she realized she still hadn’t found out why he was here yet.
“I was scooting towns we could do for our tour in Canada. People recommended this place, I wanted to see the fan base since I have a bit of time off before the next tour,” he said looking towards her. “I found one reason to come back, and she’s a pretty girl I know named Max.”
Max blushed turning away, “I’m not pretty,” she murmured while hiding her face. Andy thought that was probably something he would do to her again. “Course you are, you just don’t see it.”
She grumbled that he was a liar and switched the conversation to something new. “We have a healthy fan base in Kingston, we also have the surrounding areas as well that will gladly come into town.”
He nodded and she continued, “Come with me, I’ll show you what your venue would be. There is something else I would like to show you as well.”
“And what would that other thing be?” He said, raising an eyebrow in confusion as he shoved a bite of his burger into his mouth.
“You’ll just have to figure that out when we get there,” she said with a sly grin. She too took a bit of her food and the conversation turned towards them possibly coming to Kingston.
***
Andy POV
“And so I opened the curtain and there was CC completely buck ass naked,” Andy loved hearing her laugh, though it wasn’t exactly like chimes. It was more like music, which of course he loved. Andy hadn’t realized how much he was falling for this woman until just that moment. Man he would have to tell the guys later.
They made it to the venue and Andy noticed the name of one of the bands playing, “D.R.U.G.S? Seriously Matt didn’t tell me he’d be here.”
“I didn’t know either, I’m sure they’d let us backstage. I mean Matt Good’s best friend is here.” He chuckled and they walked in. Andy took his cell out of his pocket and very quickly called up Matt. He couldn’t wait to see his best friend again.
“Hey Andy!” His voice was excited to hear his friend.
“Hey, can you let me backstage? I’m in Kingston on the West side close to the door,” he said quietly; he didn’t want to attract attention to himself and Max.
“Yeah I’ll come get you,” he said. Andy could hear the smile in his voice. He hung up and Andy turned to Max.
“Matt’s coming,” she smiled with a nod.
It didn’t take long for him to reach the unknowing couple and quickly engulfed Andy in a bro hug.
“It’s been a long time man,” he said and turned to Max, “you finally found yourself a girlfriend?”
Max blushed and hid her face in his sleeve. He loved that reaction, maybe he liked her as well. “Nah, just friends. We met yesterday.”
Matt POV
He could see the glimmer in Andy’s eyes and the hope that she would be his. He had never had a look like that before. “Just met and you’re already introducing her to all your friends.”
He shrugged and turned a bit so he could pull her out from behind him. His eye never left her, so Matt knew he wasn’t lusting her, otherwise they would have swept across her body by now. “Matt, this is Max.”
He chuckled and held out a hand to her, “hello gorgeous.”
“I’m not gorgeous, but hi. Nice to meet you,” it shocked him that she denied the compliment. Andy didn’t seem shocked though. “She never takes a compliment. She doesn’t understand her beauty yet.”
He nodded finding it sad to hear. “Anyways, take us backstage?”
Matt nodded and they made their way backstage to chat some more. A woman with dyed blonde hair stops Max in her place, “Max Carter is that you?” She didn’t seem too comfortable when she responded. “H-hi Melissa.”
She noticed the presence of the two rockstars and slammed her mouth closed before she could say more. Max turned forward and Matt had a feeling she needed to get away from that person ASAP. So he grabbed her arm and pulled her along with Andy to the seating area.
“Max are you okay?” slipped out of Andy’s mouth the second they made it out of the sight of the other.
She nodded slowly, though he thought Andy knew something was up. “You can tell me what’s wrong.” He said as he wrapped his arms around her. She pressed her face into his chest. “Just a highschool bully. I don’t know why I am getting so strung up about it.”
The look of concern didn’t leave Andy’s face, “that’s okay, everyone gets worked up over something. She can’t hurt you now. I won’t let it happen.”
“But you are leaving soon,” there was that small reminder. Matt could see the cogs in Andy’s mind working. “And I will call you everyday to check in. Songbird, you’re important to me.”
Songbird, what an interesting nickname. He would have to ask Andy later about that. She pressed herself in closer to his body. Her face hidden by the fabric of Andy’s loose fitting shirt. “You’re important to me too.” She muttered quietly.
Matt smiled at the little interaction, but knew he needed to leave to hop on stage soon. So he cleared his throat and the two separated. “Ok Lovebirds, are we going to head backstage or are you just going to sit here looking all soft.”
Andy blushed but grabbed Max’s hand and pulled her towards the direction Matt was heading. Her cheeks were dusted in the same light blush as the man holding her hand was.
Max POV
“So you seriously didn’t recognize him?” Matt said and she nodded.
“Seriously, it took until he said something for the pieces to click in,” she laughed at her own stupidity. “And I’m a big fan of Black Veil Brides so that makes things just a little worse for me.”
Matt laughed again and it was Andy’s turn to add something to the story they were telling, “she blamed it on me wearing makeup all the time.”
Matt and the rest of his band were wheezing from the laughter. They could hardly contain it as she finished the story. “Hey, it’s not my fault I didn’t recognize you with so little mascara on. Like geez, talk about a huge change. You go from BAM to bam with one swipe of a makeup wipe.”
“Are you saying you are attracted to men with makeup?” Andy said and it stopped her laughing in its tracks. Her cheeks went bright red again as she hid her face away from the view of many men in the room. She knew what that sentence was intended to mean.
“Hush, men with makeup on are as attractive as men without makeup on.” She went on, “And just so you know, I got what you were referring to and I am not attracted to your fame or you wearing makeup. You are a good friend Andy and fantastic company.”
She hoped that deflected some later questions from the men in the room. She was however catching feelings for the man she had been hanging out with for the past two days. It shocked her with how strong these feelings were already and how fast they were coming on.
The men around Andy ‘oohed’ and called out that he was just friend zoned and Andy looked over at her still blushed covered face and flashed a beautiful smile. “Glad you consider me a friend,” he said softly and she smiled while returning her face to view.
Oh she needed help, she was falling hard for the rockstar.
