  "Springtime in Kyoto"

An early morning view of Kyoto, a place I wish I could visit sometime, For now, I content myself with google street view (many thanks for its existence, to all the people working for it). In this way I was able to discover this vista down a slope in the Higashiyama district, that enchanted me and prompted me to make this painting even if I was worried because landscapes aren't my forte and I knew it could take me a lot of effort and time...

Used photoshop cs5 and wacom bamboo tablet (all painted from scratch)

Hi All, I've just finished this little digital painting... a studio from a screenshot of Audrey Tautou as the title character from the film " Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (swipe to see the reference), One of my favorite movie of all times. I am very fond of its magical atmosphere, created also by the wonderful soundtrack by Yann Tiersen. Used photoshop cs5 and wacom bamboo tablet.

"Winter dusk lights"

I love to paint portraits, but in this I wished to concentrate on landscape and architecture instead. I choose to depict Shirakawa-go, a beautiful Unesco world heritage site in Japan, with its beautiful wooden houses with thatched roofs in the gassho-zukuri (hands in prayer) style. I wanted to transmit how, in the middle of winter, with a lot of snow, the lights from the windows give a sense of human warmth..although I've never been there....(to paint it, I used several photo references found on the web).How are your winters? Where I live, it snows very rarely and just a little bit...

Moana

My tribute to the Disney movie🌺

I portrayed Moana, Maui in his hawk form and some of the many animals of the hawaiian sea.I have chosen to depict the animals as baby-creatures (in order to do so, I have done some researches on their actual appareances...)All painted in Photoshop cs5 with wacom bamboo from scratch, 2017 year.
