Images created for a show earlier this year. Meant to represent research done at a children’s hospital in Memphis. Neurons stretch through the brain like far-reaching roots. In children, these roots work to break ground, latch onto nutrients, and find new areas of learning. Ultimately, children will blossom into adulthood, but science and research ensure that even those with the rockiest of starts can flourish.
