🫠My alarm went off twice before I actually got out of bed. Trying to make your way back to your every day fitness lifestyle habits can be hard when you’ve been on vacation for the last 7 to 10 days. Things I did well: 1️⃣Set my clothes the night before 2️⃣Went to bed earlier 3️⃣Set my alarm Things that need work: 1️⃣Less relax time in the am (most times I am just waiting for the coffee to kick in) 2️⃣Get out of bed when the alarm goes off vs hitting snooze 3️⃣A training plan…vs making workouts up on the fly.  If you change your program (or workouts) too frequently you remain a beginner. You do not need to change your program or workouts daily - some variation helps keep things interesting and spicy 🌶 but true progress comes from mastery of the fitness foundational basics. This includes good quality movement, getting stronger, building muscle, and staying consist over time. 🚧Building shoulders…this post is for you 👈🏼 Cable Lateral Raises - Finisher 3 x 15 cable in front of the body - Right, Left Sides 3 x 15 cable in between the legs - Right, Left Sides 3 x 15 cable behind the body (you might have to lower the weight) - Right, Left sides. ⛽️Massive shoulder pump! Let me know if this helps (once you dare to try 😈…insert evil laugh) PS - If you do not have a cable system, try using dumbbells, with lateral raises, slightly in front of the body, directly on the sides, and then substitute a bent over rear delt flyes. ❤️ Like this post if you are trying to build your shoulders🎃

🔥 You can do a lot in 12 weeks —however beginner to advanced in anything is not possible Expert —as @malcolmgladwell Gladwell wrote —is about 3 hours a day over the span of 10 years To be an expert What about an intermediate? 2 hours per day over 5 years? Or just not a beginner - 1 hour per day over 1 year? 💪🏼 Most busy humans, do not workout 3 hours per day. We can all get THERE overtime with a solid work ethic.
