There's no nice way to put this, I think I need help again. My abuser called me on Friday and left me so shaken I struggled to function for hours, and I'm still struggling even now on Sunday. Food isn't happening for me right now and I don't know what else to do than this. I'm so sorry for asking this. If you can't or don't want to help that's more than okay, you don't even have to reblog this. I know I've been asking for help so much but I'm hoping that things will get better this month. God I hope things will get better this month.
All around you, humanity stirs, slithers, skips in the same direction—a bouquet of humans drawn like a lime Luna moth to the primal, aquatic roar; you don’t know who, upon arrival, will jump joyfully and who will leap lavishly over the edge, toward the deafening roar, toward the deafening silence, or who—perhaps you—will do both.

Just found out my poem, “There is a Place for You Here,” and the artwork that inspired it can now be viewed digitally side-by-side (as they were displayed for the initial live showing). You can check it out here, along with the other collaborations!
I already have made several posts about this, and I know it can get annoying. But it occurs to me that I haven’t gone into detail about why I am opening commissions, how much they are, etc. So, I will take the opportunity here.
Without getting too personal, I have a chaotic home life that is detrimental to my mental health. I was forced to move away from my hometown, and I really didn’t want to. I miss my home constantly, and it’s not for lack of trying to make new memories here. I am miles away from people I consider family too.
I want to move back home, set up my own life away from the chaos. In order I need to do that, I need to save up whatever money I can get.
I am also still studying to attain my bachelor’s degree in marketing, and that costs a lot of money. I also have to account for rent, vet bills for my dog, we had an infestation of ants and I’m going to need multiple visits from an exterminator to get this under control.
In short, I am opening up writing commissions because I have expenses to cover and I eventually want to move back home for the sake of my mental health.
You don't need to write your book in the order that people will read it.
Don't know the title? Doesn't matter. Have a steamy romance scene you're excited to write? Go ahead! Thought of the perfect closing line? Get it on the page!
In light of this lovely shout-out from Zero Readers, the lit mag that originally published this on Twitter; it behooves me to mention that their parent organization, Pencil House, offers free feedback services on a regular basis! Spots are limited, but it's a great way to get knowledgeable people's eyes on your work, and get advice on aspects that you're looking to improve or tweak!

hello friends! I have finally made a new mini zine! it is available on itch.io and can be read in browser, or downloaded for free (or name your own price if you'd like to spare a dollar or two!) to be printed & folded.
please consider reblogging because tumblr often doesn't show links in the tags!
a messy little eight-page mini zine featuring four strange poems (written via magnet poetry kit and mini whiteboard) and four linocut illustrations. if you check it out, please reblog and let me know what you think! it means a lot to me :)
Another zine! Loki this time - part II to come mid-August when Lokabrenna rises in these here parts. Gaga is singing Monster in the background. Hungry for Him as always.
Thinking of doing more work like this; using different types of booklets and/or folded paper structures and then having them available to download. I just really love the tangibleness of it and I think it's such a fun way to play with crafts and writing.
