Tiffany - originally a D&D NPC in my first homebrew campaign (Heart of Atlantis my beloved), then I grew to love her too much to leave her be.

Tiffany Mereign, ie Tiff, ie Theophania Athaliah Wilhelmina Fen’U-darah Mereign the Third, Queen of Atlantis, formerly Empress of the Atlantean Empire (now dissolved). Sea elf royalty, born on December 27th 1049ce, took the throne with her father as Regent in 1087ce after the assassination of her mother Larethire II. She fully took the crown and throne in 1139-1140ce after killing her father Elias for his numerous crimes.

The D&D campaign Tiff first appeared in took place in 1139-40 where the player character party helped Tiff revive a dead goddess and use her and another dead god's power to kill the usurper king Elias and end a war that threatened their people. Said goddess cursed Tiff to die a thousand deaths (not by her own hand) before she can finally rest, all because Tiff rejected the offer of ascension to godhood.

Rana - Ranarox La'Rouge, originally started as a Haunted One Bard/Rogue PC in a Curse of Strahd campaign, then got repurposed and fleshed out as my Dark Urge OC for Baldur's Gate 3. Raised in a circus and wooed by every pretty face they see, Rana does everything in their power to fend off the Red that swirls around their vision that brings the Urge to kill. If their eyes turn red and you are within melee range, it is already too late for you to run away.

Ina - (Belongs to my friend Poe, I just happen to be obsessed with her and am the leader of Ina's fanclub) Ina the Kobold is a chaos entity, a zealous oath of glory paladin devoted to a deified Hatsune Miku. She came into existence after my friend rolled up a completely randomized character for a D&D game, and quickly speared her way into my heart with her wacky antics and hilarious zeal for murder.

A little known tidbit about Ina is that she's a sleeper agent, Ina is not her full name. Her true name is Ignition, which is the trigger word to temporarily switch her from chaotic stupid kobold to calculated smart dragonborn. Her Ignition alter ego is scarily competent compared to Ina. She was created in a secret magical experiment and hatched from an irradiated dragonborn egg. Ignition voluntarily switches back into Ina the minute whatever mission or danger she was dealing with is complete, as Ina takes far less mental energy to exist as.

Erinyes - My demonsona as it were, a self insert that morphed kind of into their own entity. They're a cheese-loving fury demon called Erin-yes. I often use them as a chaotic mini-me, and a personification of my silliness and rage. Sometimes I'll shove them into things with varied success. In D&D they'd be a tiefling or cambion as a player character, but as an NPC they've appeared as a literal erinyes devil that tried to sell cheese to the players and tormented them at various points.

Claire - My rage-filled half-drow religiously traumatized cleric. She was raised in a cult to a goddess that stole the name of other gods - Adrestia Andraste, the Lady in White, a homebrew drow goddess of death. Her drow mother was the high priestess, and in order to become the next high priestess, Claire had to kill her mother in a ritual battle. She walked over enchanted coals and was baptized in holy fire to become the next high priestess of the cult, and doing so made her fireproof to everything but her own goddess's flames. On her back they etched an intricate tattoo that brands her as her goddess's chosen, which also allows her goddess to cause her searing pain when she does something she doesn't like. A proverbial shock collar.

Claire is bitter and jaded and tries to escape the cult many times, and eventually discovers the truth of her goddess's identity theft and devotes herself to the goddess's sister Lotte (the victim of the identity theft) instead. Lotte is a drow goddess of fate, death, and magic, and gives Claire the power to mend and tear the weave of magic. Claire is a chosen of both goddesses, one willingly, one unwillingly, and her mission is to break her ties to the Lady in White for good.

Frownless - Ah my favorite eldritch edgelord. Frownless, also called The Frownless or Freddie the Frownless, is a shapeshifter known as a shadowless - he doesn't cast a shadow on the ground. Shadowless are akin to eldritch changelings that are descendants of fallen angels exiled to a demiplane. They appear as orange-tinged red haired elvish people with four yellow eyes.

Frownless in particular is a notable specimen as he got exiled for killing his cousin in a fit of rage, then made a name for himself as an assassin and overall nuisance. He actually was hired by Tiff's father to kill her but he failed miserably and ended up working for her in a weird toxic relationship instead. He tried dropping a chandelier on her and missed. He loves catfishing people since he's a shapeshifter. I love using him as a punching bag.

OT - My old self insert that morphed into their own entity. This one in particular became tied to their dragon age elf iteration as my main Inquisitor Lavellan. OT is a dalish mage Inquisitor and lover of Josephine Montilyet. Originally I named her Overtaker as a funny play on Undertaker, and then I shortened it to OT for brevity, and even made it stand for different names involving the initials O and T. I even used her the first time I every played D&D in a oneshot where she ended up dying via magic item enchanted to cast power word kill!

I have a lot of OCs but only a few I routinely use, which as of making this post consist of the above. Other OCs include Lyn, Vrei'Dara, Billie, Domi, Inanna, Dela, Johanna, Jorster, Francis, Lotte, Minaeve, Jamboree, Riff, Kestrel, Grimshaw, Veronica, Atlantea, and many others.

Iroha Nijiue!

//Well well, seems we got quite some characters here from the Another series then very well, let's begin;

Iroha Nijiue:

Iroha reunites with one of her siblings who is with the Kisaragi Foundation and ends on a sour note.

Iroha gets married but her husband dies and is alone.

Years after the tragedy when Iroha is discover and arrested by Future Foundation, she is no longer with Syobai and is working as a freeter.

Hibiki Otonokoji:

After Hibiki has calm down, her and Yoruko have a talk and Yoruko decides to help her for the trial of Kanade.

Hibiki starts to bond with Iroha's siblings and even becomes friends with them.

Hibiki fights her sister in a sword fight after Kanade wakes up but ends up corner.

Kanade Otonokoji:

Kanade as escape and causes a black out, she corners Hibiki but gets decked.

She gets the life sentence for her crimes which Hibiki visits her.

Kanade gets call out by Katsuo and then decked in the face.

Sora:

Yoruko and Sora travel around the world and spread Divine Luck after the tragedy.

Sora decides to give Divine luck to Nikei, Emma and Hajime.

As waking up those in Utsuroshima's killing game, they were able to get Sora into Akane's body.

Tsurugi Kinjo:

Tsurugi yells at one of Iroha's siblings for not doing anything and being related to a member of Void.

Tsurugi and Nikei have a very long conversation about the situation which leaves Tsurugi very conflicted about the entire situation.

Tsurugi gets killed by Rei.

Yuki Meada:

Yuki travels with Yoruko and Sora after the tragedy.

After Yuki gets his body back, Shinji adopts Yuki learning that his mom and dad are dead thanks to Akane and Utsuro.

Yuki is a head and is stuck in a jar.

Shobai Hashimoto:

Shobai sneaks on Jabberwock Island as everyone is busy with missions to get the Neo World Program.

Shobai hijack a car and takes off with Iroha.

He helps with the situation on Utsuroshima.

Yoruko Kabuya:

Setsuka and Yoruko have a conversation about Hibiki, which Yoruko realizes her hypocrisy.

Yoruko attempts to shoot Kanade but misses her.

Sora and Yoruko go to a bar to get a drink, turns out Sora doesn't like alcohol.

Rei Mekaru:

Rei gets really drunk but after that starts to see a therapist about everything and plans to go back to the US to become a teacher when Tsurugi returns.

Rei gets into karaoke and starts singing heavy metal in a drunk rage.

Rei visits the graves of her former Classmates and adds one more.

Shinji Kasai:

Shinji meets Kanata a bit more properly before the tragedy.

Shinji invites Yoruko, Sora, Yuri, Setsuka and Hibiki over for dinner which they all discuss plans for the future.

Shinji after the events of Utsuroshima's killing game goes into retirement from the next generation of hope.

Teruya Otori:

Teruya stops an argument between Tsurugi and Rei.

In the Afterlife theater, we get to see him interacting with Haruhiko, Satsuki and Kiyoka.

Teruya is revive along with everyone else.

Am I adding more to the core team? Yes, I am.

Floor Guardians (Overlord) - Joined because Louise is Ainz Ooal Gown's descendant. My crew can't keep control for more than 2 seconds and I love these dorks.

Ark (Kamen Rider Zero One) - Joined to kill some Riders and take names.

Arlong (One Piece) - Joined because these guys love to have fun and because this guy be very smug.

Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk (My Little Pony) - Joined because of Adagio abandoning them and Sonata needing someone to look after her.

Zen Aku (Power Rangers) - This guy joined mostly to get some respect

Nui Harime (Kill La Kill) - Joined to finally kill Ryuko. Besides she's having fun with these people, even if they're fashion failures.

Lady Bat, Lanhua and Alala (Mermaid Melody) - Joined because mermaid hunting ain't selling like it used to. And besides, I love these three. The reason is because they were obnoxious, annoying, vain, smug and most importantly, useless (Hear me out for a second). Of all the fictional villains of all time, these three are the worst (in a fun way) fictional villains of them all. Lanhua, Lady Bat and Alala's track record in hunting Mermaid Princesses and spreading evil is pathetic but they're trying their best and that's what matters, even if they squander their powers on stroking their overbloated egos about how beautiful they are and how they are infatuated in themselves instead of using them to capture and defeat Mermaid Princesses for Mikeru. So pathetic that in each episode they appear, they achieve no success in hunting Mermaid Princesses.

Reason for liking Lady Bat: Edward Cullen and Bella Swan from The Twilight Saga are more vampiric than her. And she are utterly laughable compared to them. And besides that, she is very much a smug gay trash bat. Plus she gets very spastic when she fails.

Reason for liking Lanhua: She reminds me of Gaston from Beauty and the Beast in a dorky way, just as cute as he is (except she isn't as vain as him). She may be just a hag in beauty's clothing who needs a lesson in being kind to others but she's my smug butterfly hag and has fun while she works. Even her singing as multiple chibi Lanhuas is out there and kinda silly.

Reason for liking Alala: Those two songs of her are pretty ridiculous when she can't succeed in achieving any kind of success in capturing Mermaid Princesses. She's an attention-hungry fairy bitch who is also an affectionate parody of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan. Plus, she flaunts herself on missions and is pretty adorable.

Le Quack (Courage the Cowardly Dog) - Joined to pull off heists of the century.

Stocking Anarchy (Panty and Stocking) - Was dragged out of Mallet Island to join the team.

Selina (Winx Club) - Takes place before Season 6, Joined because she likes their style and wickedness.

Rattlesnake Jake (Rango) - Joined to have some fun and make Xehanort see that pretty soon, no one will believe he exists.

Beth (Scream) - Joined to break the system.

Supervillain Girls (DCSHG 2019) - Joined to have some fun.

Grimcutty (Grimcutty) - Joined to get even with Endeavor (Put him in the MHAverse).

Scarecrow (Batman) - Joined to send worlds into oblivion.

Monika, Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki (Doki Doki Literature Club) - Were dragged out of the game to join the team.

Hammerstrike (Transformers) - Joined by being let out of his stasis pod.

Screech and Thud (Land Before Time) - Were revived to join the team.

Marx (Kirby) - Was revived to join the team.

Evelyn Claythorne (Meta Runner) - Joined to settle the score with Tari.

James Sheridan (Meta Runner) - Joined to get even with Silica City.

Suigintou (Rozen Maiden) - Joined by being awakened.

Crypto (Destroy All Humans) - Joined by Invitation.

Burger Beard (SpongeBob SquarePants) - Joined by invitation.

I've been thinking about an SDRA2 AU where everything is the same, but the non-AI dead killing game's participants are able to be saved, like in SDR2. By now, I already have some ideas for it:

The other three Voids (Maku, Emma and Nikei) and Kanade are immediately detained by the Kisaragi Foundation for their crimes. Also, I feel like Kokoro could also get detained, bc of both letting AE!Mikado do the killing game unopposed and having Mikako just for her experiments.

With Teruya alive, there will still tensions inside the Kisaragi Foundation, but they don't go nuclear like in canon. But still, there's still some division between the members about if Tsurugi's actions were justified or not.

With Setsuka and the other Hopes, I don't know how it would go, but I can feel that they could get an explanation of why they got roped on the killing game in first place (Also, Yuri discovering that Monocrow was his AI, corrupted by AE!Mikado to have a Monokuma-esque figure)

And also, Yuki also could have Shinji along with Yoruko as friendly faces on his world-spanning mission.

Also, in a funnier direction, all the revived participants going like "Are you saying that the white-haired girl in the hoodie is supposedly Yuki??" when they discover about Yuki's situation in the post-game.

Ohhhhh I really like this AU!

I do think all Voids (Iroha, Maku, Enma and Nikei) would get arrested due to kidnapping people and general other crimes. As you said, due to Kanade confession in the killing game, she would be arrested ASAP. I do agree with Kokoro because while Amnesia!Kokoro hadn’t done anything wrong, ThatTimeline!Kokoro had done human experiments, gave her approval stamp and aided to everything Mikado(s) did, including kidnapping, money washing and murder.

I think the Syobai might not get arrested due to his deal with Tsurugi but I imagine he would get the hell out of dodge out of there since when it comes to criminals Tsurugi isn’t to be trusted.

One point, is that I think Tsurugi actions while still very sus and worrying would have a more wiggle-room in people’s/outsiders’s view, due to nobody actually ending up dead and the mastermind(s) getting apprehended. I feel that while Rei and Teruya would be hella pissed, they would be less…… shaken or hurt to about it and Tsurugi might get away in a sense with stern talking about not doing so again and “we will leave if you try to use us like baits again”.

I also think that in such AU, Tsurugi may be able to change toward a better view-ish due to getting a degree closure with Utsuro, and actually finding closure in saving people from the killing game. I do think that, at least then, he would end up conveying more what he meant and plans due to heavier pressure from Teruya and Rei.

I imagine that odd sort of catharsis and finally having Utsuro be gone for good, may lead to a less obsessed Tsurugi.

That said, considering the possibility of AI Sora, I imagine there would be a lot of arguing between A2 survivors and the trio over whether or not to try to save Sora or not. I feel that Shinji, Yoruko, Yuki and Teruya would be the strongest arguing voices for saving Sora, while Rei would be more neutral-positive and Tsurugi being the one in opposition, due to fearing anything that might survive together with Sora coming back. As for the other survivors, I think they would be too much wrapped up in the trauma of the aftermatch to be able to strongly influence this discussion.

I will put a pin on Setsuka due to her situation being a bit different from the other hopes. If I am not mistaken, Setsuka herself had been hired by Tsurugi to investigate the Voids, so she would have some sort of an idea of what would be going on. Now writing this, it also occurs me that due to Yoruko being there from beginning to end, she would also have an idea of it.

I think all of A1 survivors would feel a sort of closure in this scenario, not only Tsurugi. Teruya i think, especially due to how close he was with people who had died, would get to be able to save the lifes of innocent people in a way that he hadnt been able to with his closest friends (Satsuki and Haruhiko).

I can see a tearful hug between Teruya and Rei. Joy over saving innocents and Teruya being alive, and grief over the reopening of the old wounds of their killing game. Teruya also being so glad at suceeding and having complicated feelings for Tsurugi (who Rei and Yuri are giving a tongue lashing about), but also hugging him over joy of closure.

I imagine Teruya would, unconciously, find the role of guide and glue of sorts for A2 survivors, as he was the most familiar with them from the simulation and came to care for all. I imagine he helping them with coping, lightning the mood, introducing trustable people from the organization and helping to ground them in the new reality in the organization. I think he would fiercily care for all of them and fight for their good treatment and helping them within the organization.

I think Yuri, Shinji and Hibiki would be the ones Most Lost^tm since they got taken out way too early to know about everything………

Although I am pretty sure the first thing that would happen to Hibiki would be Therapy^tm with Mr. Inori and likely aid of other people.

I imagine Hibiki’s follow-up post game would be mostly healing which might leave her disconnected from all the discussions and arguments happening.

Hibiki, in particular, might be the one case where the effects of the simulation help(?) due to it allowing her to be in a state of mind free of Kanade’s control for a time as well as being able to bond and grow with other people, and having the solid evidence of Setsuka being alive and there for her. That said, I imagine everything would be crashing down a lot for her to be able to deal with anything else...

One nice thing for her I think, would be interacting with DRA 6.5 cast. I can imagine Iranami treating her kindly due to his experience with many siblings, and maybe even being able to make her smile due to knowledge over circus techniques. I imagine that Midori would also be able to provide a calming presence (even with her scary face).

As for Yuri…

Yuri voice: I am founding the Mikado Hater Club.

I feel that Yuri would….honestly I feel he might be the one to come out most unscratched due to having very little time in the simulation, and the entire story just comes out feeling out-of-the-world to him. That said, discovering his invention, that was supposed to help people, was used for murder and for an selfish goal, got made into a mockery of itself AND to top it off all of this was spear-headed by a guy would make him very very very pissed.

I picture he arguing with Tsurugi over if his organization is even that good for allowing all of this to happen and just tearing into him. Then, possibly also working hardcore to recover Monocrow AI files and becoming firmly in “Revive Sora” Camp.

Yuri voice: I have to do everything here by myself! – proceeds to create inventions to help them in this - .

I can see him annoyingly accidently becoming a sort of technology supplier for the organization with the condition that they protect his fellow survivors and *cries as if he is a cat being dragged to a bath, for he is DEFINITELY NOT ATTACHED(he says like a liar)* his fellow guy survivors.

Shinji… I think Shinji would be still very affected by everything. He passed through some harrowing, heartbreaking, horror times, and the decision to commit to die for his friends…is… still one that I think would scar. Death by fire would have been very traumatizing. I do think he would be one of the ones who would be able to bounce off to his cheery self, at least in the outsider view. I think he would have his moments of coiling into himself over the trauma he suffered.

While he would have the support of his family, survivors and the foundation, I still think it would be progress and it would take time for him to heal.

As for Setsuka, I would think that Setsuka might leave due to her complicated feelings about her eye use, as well as perceived failure over not stopping Syobai. But I could see she finding herself watching out for the survivors and being pivotal in helping Hibiki recover, and that, ending up keeping her in a place for a long while.

Just this scene of her blinking and realizing how much time has passed and that she sort of gained……a belonging feeling toward her fellow survivors and people from the organization. Joking with Ryutaro, trying to ease Keisuke, having friendly gossip with Minako…while also being a cornerstone in helping Hibiki, conversating, comforting and being comforted in turn by Yoruko, masterminding (hehe) some activities with Teruya and teasing him, joking with Shinji, Ando about “ahh young people right”.

I also imagine she and Ando would have very...existential conversations of sorts due to how centered Ando feels, and the way I think Setsuka would find herself a bit adrift of everything.

Overall, I think Setsuka and Shinji would become attached / feel a strong bond formed towards the survivors, as many times, they took the leading role in their friendship. While I imagine the friendship would change due to the new circumstances / age gaps, I think they would be fond / protective of the class.

I think that Yuki reaction, regardless of survivors numbers, would still be running like hell due to the sheer confusion and panic of his awakening. I think when he has time to stop, and then think and reflect he would be stunned over the sheer raw hope after hearing the other survived (Shinji!!!).

I can see he trying to catch glimpses of the survivors and his heart stopping and re-starting once he sees them alive (alive!!!).

In one of those moments, I can see Shinji seeing Yuki and being like *psss psss to a feral cat* trying to convince Yuki to stop running and come and see them. As well as being at first overjoyed over Yuki being alive and probably yelling about it while Yuki is like Oh- and then Shinji hugs him. I am just picturing this scene of Shinji hugging him while Yuki starts sobbing and hugs him harder because he is alive!! And also probably saying “I am sorry I am sorry” over his actions in the game, due to being haunted over stabbing him thanks to Nikei’s plan.

And then Shinji reassuring him, being glad he is alive, and saying he is his friend and will always be welcome at his house.

Speaking of Shinji, I also imagine that his family would have an impact in this ending. As Shinji was the one person with confirmed alive close relationships, I imagine his wife and daughters would have been severely worried about him missing, and may or may not have tried to reach out to Kisaragi Foundation. I imagine that post game, Rei or another person would contact them to inform where Shinji is and that he is alive.

Writing this, I imagine they themselves might start hanging around Kisaragi Foundation with some frequency, which might lead to other survivors interacting with them. I am imagining that they would also see Yuki as a sort of uncle (reference to his “big bro” with Shinji) who is awkward but keeps coming up with little gifts to them.

I also see Shinji’s wife and Shinji trying to feed Yuki with a bunch of bentos everytime they find him due to worries over his health, as they (and other survivors) are wary over Yuki tendency of disappearing and not sure whether or not he is taking care of himself.

I imagine that due to everyone surviving, Yuki may… be willing to visit them more and feel a bond with them. I imagine there would be some initial awkwardness due to confusion re: Sora’s body (is he Sora or Yuki or did Mikado fucked up and mixed them both or both of them are in a single body), coupled with Yuki’s survivor guilt over (by his unreliable narrator view) taking Sora’s chance to get back.

And yes, pff , there would be so much confusion and having to explain things to everyone. Yuri and Hibiki in particular would be so lost… Hibiki even more so due to not knowing technobabble like Yuri.

I can see many "Sora, wait no Yuki, wait no-"

....The mental image of someone suggesting Yuki to paint his hair orange...

But that said, I think with so many people being alive, it would bring more encouragement to Yuki, in a sense of "you matter, always remember so". While his fierce cheers would be from Shinji, Yoruko and Teruya, i feel, would be right there in supporting him.

Just imagining the time when Yuri and Rei are able to bring back Sora.

I think, even people who weren’t close to her, would be delighted over having her back, especially knowing how hard she tried to save them.

(Tsurugi has been put in the shame corner by Rei and Teruya so he doesn’t complain about it).

I also imagine Sora would be overjoyed into finding them alive. Although the possibility of the first thing she sees when she comes back is Yuri face while proposing her is one is funny to me due to the sheer confusion she would have.

And the happy ending of her meeting a radianting happiness Teruya, a confident Yoruko, a bright Shinji, a still Yuri but very caring Yuri, a recovering but cheerful Hibiki, a steady Setsuka, and finally a tentative but hopeful Yuki... does warm my heart a great deal.

The concept is really touching and easy to “digest” and such romance is needed for the vivid viewer of Running Man, since the Monday Couple have separated, the romance was so lacking throughout the episodes, this particular episode at least give us a break and add more dynamic toward the concept of member’s week.

In the episode of this new year’s edition, the Running Man members are getting their prediction about their lives in 2017. Not only that, their health is also checked through the condition of their eyes. This is the usual concept that has been repeated like two or three times before, the funny part of these New Year episodes is when the members get the answer about their luck for that year which of course varied. This is also the first time Song Jihyo and Kim Jongkook is coupled in a romantic way.

What I like the most from this episode is the adaptability of the members of Super Junior which make even a simple game hugely interesting. Super Junior and Red Velvet became Guest in episode 376. Not only they did come in complete personnel. It turns out that one of the members of Suju, Eunhyuk is a friend from the same elementary school as Jeon Somin. There are also a lot of funny stories between them. The closeness of Somin and Eunhyuk make Donghae jealous and this kind spark is what keeps this episode interesting.

Running Man once again took the theme of Couple Race but this time with much more guest. There’s even an extra 2 male guest, Jo Se-ho and Sung Hoon. Meaning there are 8 pairs in total. So do not be surprised if this episode took 2 episodes. Even for its opening alone spend half the episode. The guest stars are asked to show his or her talents. Sunmi is definitely featuring with the famous dance of Ganshina. Well, Jo Seho as always gets tricked by Yoo Jaesuk. Not only that Jo Seho who is paired with Song Jihyo always get scolded and even beaten.

This is one of the episode of Global Race where Jeon Somin and Kwangsoo have to undergo their punishment in Indonesia or precisely in Gunung Kidul Jogjakarta. They have to cross toward the fishing island using a cable car made by the coastal residents of Pantai Timang which is made with Wood and several strings connected to each other. This whole episode features Somin and Kwangsoo. The members have to guess what they are doing and the result of the action. Kwangmin couple’s moments will also make us laughed and melted here.

This episode is really exciting for me because each member get their airtime almost equally and all of the moments created are super funny.

Continuing the theme of Global Race, this time Running Man visit Japan to get serve the sentence in the Ghost House. Unfortunately, Kwangsoo must serve the punishment by himself. While Somin went through it with Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin served his “adventure” with Yang Se Chan. Lots of funny and thrilling scenes we go from this episode like VJ of Ji Sukjin who fled in fear and left his camera behind.

Well, Haha’s special episode is the best among the others. Haha has been known as a hesitant type of personality and wishy-washy with the choices available. In this episode, Haha will always be told to choose between two members who are prepared to undergo a punishment. Like Lee Kwangsoo or Ji Sukjin who will be thrown into the air with a giant ball. Or Kim Jongkook (eating high calories food) and Song Jihyo (touch insects). And the twist was Haha didn’t plan this episode but other members did this as the gift for Haha’s second child which had made Haha want to run away due to the shameful feeling.

Episode 372 can be categorized as to be one episode with the best Twist of 2017 or perhaps one of the best Twist in Running Man history. Early on, the member saw a video of Lee Kwangsoo who was talking with two mysterious people. Kwangsoo is upset about who he has takes to undergo the punishment in Australia. Well, you will be really shocked by what happened at the end. Usually, we’ll see Jeon Somin making a loveline with Kwangsoo or any male single guest but in this episode Jeon Somin create a romantic moment with Kim Jongkook. Like when somin act as a girlfriend of Kim Jongkook.

Last part of Global Race Project last of 2017 where Running Man members are divided into 2 groups. Lee Kwangsoo’s team which consist Jeon Somin, Ji Sukjin and Yoo Jaesuk flew to Australia and Kim Jongkook’s team consist of Haha, Song Jihyo, and Yang Sechan visited New Zealand. This is the second part because it has previously aired in Episode 378. If in the previous episode 378 (Team Australia) is stealing the attention, during this episode Team New Zealand became the star. Obviously, because this team offers cuteness and tension. Where Haha and Sechan had vomited before getting on the swing and the best moments when Song Jihyo and Kim Jongkook take on the Nevis Swing with the upside position.

Running Man’s blockbuster scenes frequently have a lot of rushes, chills and enough twist on the story to keep watchers oblivious until the last minute. This scene; highlighting apparitions from Running University, took the great Running Man blockbuster scene to another level with a sudden wind that left the individuals reeling, as well as the gathering of people. This present scene’s quality likewise originates from the last mission, an unofficial ID tearing mission in which the individuals need to battle against each other to be the beneficiary. There’s an immense twist towards the end which you presumably won’t see it coming either.

Special Christmas episode on Running Man, for the most part, have an amazing quality of esteem, however, to keep in accordance with the current year’s Running Man subject of wanders aimlessly, the PD have thought of yet another blockbuster scene including apparitions, vindictive spirits, and people. All agreed that the star in this episode is Haha’s friend Park Geun-shik and Jo Seho. Geunsik with his innocence often makes Haha angry while Jo Se Ho always gets teased by Yoo Jaesuk. But Tae Hang-ho (Friends of Kwangsoo) also take much of the airtime while trying the high voice game.

On episode 346, the new member Jeon So-min and Yang Se-chan start joining permanently as a cast member. Here we will be getting stomachache because of their hilarious behavior, especially from the new member! This time there are three teams that compete to win. They must successfully undergo a mission if not, the will be given a horrible penalty. It might not be the funniest, but this episode becomes the turning point of the new era of Running Man. Thus, we see this episode as the fundamental episode of Running Man in 2017.

The Bridge

I find it interesting that no matter which route you pick, the invasion of Garreg Mach is always going to happen. 3/4 of the routes have you defend it in the Classic “defend the fortress” Fire Emblem mission. It makes me wonder if there was a way to prevent the invasion or if it has to happen due to causality.

That was always on Edelgard’s to-do list that Hubert wrote for her, right under “Declare war,” “Give badass inspirational speech (see attached - which Edelgard doesn’t because Hubert has the charismatic persuasive ability of mildew),” and “Kill my father” with a :D next to the last one. So I’m going to go with @ezralahm‘s suggestion that Byleth not be a complete idiot in the Prologue and let Edelgard get axed by the bandits she hired. Then the game proceeds as follows:

Blue Lions: Dimitri has so many boyfriends, and his boyfriends have boyfriends! You have to help him choose, professor. Luckily you have a cute lesbian couple to guide you on your way, and also Ingrid is there. They go around solving Faerghus’s many internal problems with bandits and civil unrest and in the process discover that Cornelia is up to something terrible and has to be taken care of. Each boyfriend/lesbian/Ingrid has an area of particular interest to them, and it’s crucial for the future of the Kingdom and Dimitri’s love life that he pursue as many as he can within the year. Yuri and Balthus get in on the boyfriend fun as well, and Hapi is there to lead them to her secret forest village (she and Dimitri do not however instantly fall in love and get married, because that would just be silly). Best ending: Dimitri becomes king and reforms the Kingdom and reconciles with Duscur, and stages a grand wedding where he marries all of his boyfriends at once and then they have an orgy. In his reformed nation Crests are no longer considered a priority for inheritance, and so Dimitri and his many husbands start adopting all the war orphans they can find and are generally very happy even if it gets a little harder to have orgies with all those kids running around the castle.

Golden Deer: Claude needs to get a handle on the divided Alliance council, and what better way to do that than by making an excellent marriage? Help him decide between the Golden Deer ladies and also Ingrid and Petra and Shamir who come over to visit sometimes while Lorenz makes catty gay remarks over tea and prods Claude into becoming a more deft politician in the process. Meanwhile Leonie and Jeralt are hot on the trail of the secret underground organization perpetuating all sorts of nefarious plots against Garreg Mach, and they bring along Ignatz and Raphael because it’s not like they’ve got anything else going on. Best ending: Claude takes his bride of choice back to his homeland along with his always-helpful Teach, and together they establish powerful diplomatic relations with the Alliance (via a flummoxed Lorenz) and maybe even beyond depending on his wife. Jeralt’s crew along with some help from monster summoner Hapi roots out the Agarthan threat and all the Deer come together to take them out. Then they have a big party at Fòdlan’s Throat where Claude abruptly announces that he’s opening the border and also dissolving the Alliance council and putting his wife in charge of the whole thing and also also he’s the prince of Almyra and one day he wants Almyra and Leicester to be able to unify into one peaceful nation with no racism ever. Lorenz is immensely flummoxed, and weeps into Holst’s manly chest which is still offscreen somehow. Balthus is also there, with a more visible chest.

Black Eagles: Hubert cries alone in the sauna for days following Edelgard’s death. At last, sweltering and pruny, he emerges to lock himself away in his room and pet the box of his keepsakes from his lady including locks of her hair and skin flakes and blood and urine samples. He considers using unspeakable dark magic to revive these bits into a hellish undead simulacrum of her who would totally put out, but he’s interrupted by a knock on the door. Putting down the knife he was going to fling at the person upon seeing that it’s Ferdinand, he grudgingly answers the boy’s prodding questions after his well-being these past weeks and sniffles that while he’s known and even liked that Edelgard was a bit stupid, he didn’t ever think she’d be that stupid. Eyes glistening with unshed tears, Ferdinand takes Hubert hands and says with full sincerity that he can be exactly as stupid as Hubert needs him to be. Hubert glances from Ferdinand to his own crotch and back several times, is satisfied by what he sees, and declares that he’ll do perfectly and that soon Adrestia will have a new emperor - followed by his most drawn-out evil laugh.

All this occurs outside of Byleth’s knowledge of course, and so their year with the Eagles is spent engaging them in various talent competitions to encourage their generally artistic bent and do the inspirational teacher thing with these various troubled individuals. Dorothea and Yuri start a school theatre troupe, Bernadetta is coaxed into participating in a writing context (along with Linhardt once an essay category is unveiled), Constance and Dorothea start planning early to ace the house dancing competition while Constance plots on the side to one-up her rivals in elegant noble magical prowess, Caspar has declared that he’s going to single-handedly whip all those cocky Lions guys who always hog the training grounds and make out with each other in the sauna, and there’s no better place to do it than at the big house fighting tournament. At every event though a mysterious masked figure with flowing red hair and fashionable red and black garb shows up to upstage everyone. The judges at these events all seem unusually nervous, as if they had loved ones dangling over a shark tank somewhere or something of that nature, except for Manuela who adores the masked man(?) and weeps openly when they belt out a perfect rendition of one of the most stirring solos of her stage career, complete with suggestive dancing. Byleth determines that they’ll get to the bottom of this, while Ferdinand and Hubert are busy being Totally Not Suspicious and also the latter seems to be oddly missing much of the time, down in one of his many rumored basement lairs. Best ending: the disguised Ferdinand slays the competition at every event, finally revealing his true identity at the end of the year dance that exists for cliché reasons. Hubert had missed his last performance, having gotten too distracted with other matters to help with Ferdinand’s frankly idiotic plot to become emperor on sheer talent and charisma - but the trade-off is that now he’s got the head of the man who had been masquerading as Lord Arundel mounted on his wall and an underground city’s worth of new minions who now answer to Hubert’s very own long-winded name for them. Ferdinand is upset that Hubert missed his big moment, but before he can run away in tears Hubert takes his hand and kisses him in front of their shocked classmates. They then perform a romantic duet and dance number, where it is quickly discovered that Hubert cannot sing - at all - and also that he’s easily crushed under his new boyfriend’s ample frame when Ferdinand tries to jump into a lift Dirty Dancing style. Everyone else joins their dance number anyway, except Bernadetta who never left her room. He declares her descriptions of murder to be some of the most deliciously vivid he’s ever seen put to paper, and that she’s inspired him in his own work. Bernadetta is too overjoyed to care about the implications.

Golden ending: In the absence of an emperor Adrestia is easily absorbed into the Almyran-Leicester Alliance, its people glad to trade centuries of outdated bureaucratic red tape for the mercantile values of the Alliance. Brigid gains its independence and along with Dagda fosters stronger diplomatic ties to Fòdlan thanks to Claude, and there are no more invasions. The Kingdom remains on peaceful terms with the new Alliance, and the love and companionship expressed by its king become legendary throughout the continent, passed on by some twenty or more adopted children who become the king’s joy and comfort in his many years of pious celibacy surrounded by his very good friends who all coincidentally happen to be attractive men. Dedue remains forever at Dimitri’s side and carefully oversees the restoration of Duscur, Ashe opens a restaurant in Fhirdiad that becomes internationally renowned, Felix makes peace with his father through Dimitri’s gentle coaxing and also all those dicks in his mouth and ass, and Sylvain somehow lives a long and happy life without ever contracting an STD because some people are just lucky like that. Annette and Mercedes help out by founding an orphanage because it is the standard maternal thing for women in FE, and together they work through Annette’s strained relationship with her father and help Mercedes break away from her (second) adoptive father. Ingrid is still there, but (if she didn’t marry Claude) she finds a nice NPC with money to marry and now the Galateas are doing well.

Hubert had big plans to lead the Agarthans Those Who Slither Under Him in an infiltration of Garreg Mach to take out its dragons and harness their bodies for himself, but the constant sex with Ferdinand wears him out even with all the coffee and so eventually he just poisons everyone in Shambhala and steals all their tech so now he has murder trains and zombies and nukes and sharks with freakin’ laser beams and also he got around to reviving that simulacrum of Edelgard after all which he uses like a RealDoll so now he’s really got no time to conquer the universe. Ferdinand is very happy with him though, and succeeds his father in becoming Duke Aegir and managing the former Imperial lands as a whole. He often takes the stage in Enbarr, sometimes in operas written by him or his friends and co-starring Dorothea much of the time, and everyone is invited and almost no one gets murdered (just a few though - Hubert has needs). They publicly expose Jeritza and Hubert mocks him as a totally lame poser, and they plan to have him locked up for life until Mercedes runs to them and cries about what a sweet boy he is and how it’s not really him doing the serial killing. Hubert finds that just twisted enough to release Jeritza to his sister’s custody, where he doesn’t murder anyone so long as he never runs out of ice cream. Bernadetta remains isolated in her room for the rest of her life, but upon her death the material for dozens of novels, many of them based on the saucy romantic exploits of her school friends, is discovered among her effects and she posthumously becomes a household name throughout Fòdlan. As the years wear on Dorothea leaves Enbarr behind along with Manuela to join Petra in founding a lesbian commune on Brigid, which causes much scandal initially but is eventually accepted by the people. Constance restores House Nuvelle with Ferdinand’s help, and she makes frequent visits to a certain orphanage in Fhirdiad where she shares her finest roses with Jeritza and her most complicated spellcraft with Annette and Mercedes. The three of them go on to become guest lecturers at the School of Sorcery. Caspar joins a fighting ring in Abyss and gains some notoriety and a sufficiently imposing nickname, but he’s not really into it when he finally notices that Balthus and even Raphael are sporting hard-ons for the duration of their wrestling matches.

Claude lands an invite to the King of Faerghus’s Circle of Platonic Male Companionship, and while he’s not really into it when everyone starts getting naked he comes out of it with a few loads pumped out of him and the groundwork laid for the Alliance to peacefully absorb the Kingdom. He sets up Balthus as ambassador, because who better to understand Dimitri’s particular needs who already isn’t sharing a very large bed with him several times a week? Meanwhile Lorenz ends up with Claude’s sloppy seconds on the marriage market, but at least he still has his tea bestie in the Empire and Holst’s awesome presence. Judith and Nader get together because Balthus ships them, and while this further strengthens ties between the Alliance and Almyra it annoys Claude to no end.

Rhea reveals the full truth to Byleth after their first year of teaching, and then they have sex and Rhea is so happy to be with her mother again that she doesn’t even mind that it’s in the carnal sense. Byleth returns to teaching a new crop of students the following year, as vacantly happy to be where they are as ever. Jeralt eventually dies of cirrhosis, and then they are sad (but not sadder than Alois and Leonie, damn it). Several of the former students including Ignatz and Hilda return to Garreg Mach to help expand its curriculum for a more peaceful time, and Linhardt opens a new wing of the library dedicated to Crest research and experimentation where the floor is made entirely of pillows. Caspar sometimes joins him in naps, and Hanneman works closely with him to develop techniques to bestow and remove Crests at will without harm to the individual although they are often assisted in this endeavor by mysterious grants of arcane knowledge from unknown sources, delivered to them not by owls but by vicious trained geese that bite whoever takes the parcels from them. Still, Lysithea is successfully cured using their methods, and while Marianne pleads with them to have her own Crest removed she later decides to make peace with her heritage and become an accomplished stateswoman in spite of the prejudice - inspired by Claude and the others around her. They also figure out what the hell is up with Hapi, who afterwards bounds happily back to her isolated village sighing all the way. Flayn spends many happy years as a student in different houses, and eventually Seteth feels comfortable enough to allow them to remain with Rhea and her precious mother/sibling/child-twice-over/grandchild. The Ashen Wolves are eventually made into a proper fourth house and allowed to come out of Abyss now that Aelfric is dead, although Yuri is always keeping tabs on the underground and especially that fighting ring with Balthus and all those other sweaty men. Anna makes bank in Garreg Mach - much of it from Balthus - and leaves it behind one day for another dimension and the company of some of her innumerable identical twin sisters. Abysskeeper and Mr. Backup get married in a lovely ceremony where no one attending has a name. Gatekeeper still has nothing to report.

And they all lived happily ever after - except for Edelgard who is now an undead RealDoll. Sucks to be her, I guess.

In your story "Out of Time" a seven year old Yuri was transported to the future/alternate reality where the events of the game played out differently. What kind of story would've happened if a seven year old Flynn was the one that got transported to the future? How different would that world and Yuri be if Flynn wasn't there to play his canonical role in the game?

That’s an interesting thought! So let’s say it’s a straight-up inversion of the fic: Flynn was the one hiding during hide-and-seek, and he was never found (because he accidentally went to the future).

A lot of Yuri’s self-esteem issues stem from growing up in Flynn’s shadow. He always compared himself to Flynn and found himself coming in second. On the other hand, his other set of issues come from a rocky childhood with no proper family. He says “the whole lower quarter raised me” but having an entire community looking out for you is not a replacement for a strong parental bond. Yuri was abandoned by his father, lost his mother, and I can’t imagine that losing his best friend - the closest thing he has to an actual family relationships - would be great for him. Flynn disappearing would probably be a major loss of innocence for young Yuri. It cements to him that life is just not fair, good things can be taken from you in a moment with no warning, and you can’t trust anyone to stay in your life.

So i think we would end up with a 21 year old Yuri who is both more confident in himself, and also far more cynical and less open to others. More hesitant to form friendships in general. He joins the Knights as he did in canon, since that was a personal dream of his and not just following Flynn, but he’s disillusioned and dropped out.

The start of the game would play out pretty similarly up until Yuri gets to the castle. Then, the major issue arises that Estelle has no reason to be trying to sneak out of the castle, because Flynn isn’t around. So there’s a good chance that in this version of canon, Yuri never meets Estelle and Estelle never leaves Zaphias.

Yuri still goes on to Halure, recruits Karol and Rita, etc. Halure tragically is never revived, because Estelle isn’t around. Estelle’s presence doesn’t attract Judith and Ba’ul, so they don’t join either. I think Raven would be around less, too, because with Flynn absent, Alexei may decide to use Schwann for a lot of the things he tasked Flynn with, like infiltrating the coliseum and looking for apatheia.

After Yuri recovers the aque blastia, there’s really no telling where the plot might go. Rita goes back to Aspio because she doesn’t stick around for Estelle, and Brave Vesperia consists only of Yuri, Karol, and Repede. In fact, would a Yuri who’s so much more hesitant to rely on others and form close friendships even agree to form a guild in the first place? Estelle isn’t there to give them their mission of finding Phaeroh.

The plot might get back on track if Alexei takes Estelle directly from the castle. Yuri and Karol don’t know her personally, but they still want to stop Alexei.

Overall, there would be a lot of differences, though many of them stem from Flynn being the reason Estelle gets involved in the plot. Her absence impacts the plot quite a bit.

3: What is something that was never addressed at all in thecanon material that you have independently developed for your muse?

Lemme just split this into sections for ease of answering XD

Ruri: Her backstory and how she ended up with the Kurosaki family, as well as her view on being fused with Yuzu post-canon. I don’t at all think the girls are dead after the events of canon, they’re still within Yuzu just as much as the boys are inside Yuya, but all of this is my interpretation. We get some backstory with her, but… How tf did she end up with the Kurosaki family to the point even Shun thought she was born into their family and always his blood sister? What was her life like prior to meeting Yuto past those couple of flashbacks? This blog’s canon has her found by an elderly couple who loved her and realized they couldn’t care for her, and gave her to the Kurosakis with the knowledge they could. She’s a happy kid with her brother. She deserved more story than she got.

Rin: The same as Ruri’s in that I gave her a proper backstory and feelings towards the fusing. Rin was so much of a blank slate it’s not fair? We got such little info on her that as far as this blog is concerned, Rin was found by the orphanage she grew up in, but eventually started questioning why she (and the other kids) was there, just to be told her parents passed in an accident. Wondering about the ‘what if’ (What if she’d been there, could she have helped them, did they like her, if she hadn’t been there…) combined with the Tops looking down their nose at her and the others in commons gives rise to her ‘ice queen’ personality, but also results in her questioning everything by the time post-canon comes around. In actual canon she just gets like… Five minutes. Ten tops. Not enough for this girl.

Ray: She has more of a backstory with Zarc here - Namely that she’s been more involved with him for a while prior to him going bonkers. They’ve had a kind of relationship (even if she won’t call it that) and she knows him way more intimately than canon even remotely hints at. As far as I’m concerned, she also still exists within Yuzu, just differently from how the other girls do.

Serena: How she got her Lunalights, her relationship (or lack thereof) with Yuri, and growing up in Academia. We gets hints here and there of things, but they don’t really tell us anything past those hints? Blog canon has decided Serena was found by the professor and raised alongside Yuri, but kept her distance from him because there was something about him she just couldn’t stand. She recieived her Lunalights from a teacher she liked before they never came back from a mission (having been doubting Academia and got carded for it under the guise of another routine mission), and began to hate the memory probes Leo conducted on her - Part of her reason for wanting out as much as she did to prove herself. She was a solider, but if she proved herself, would the probes stop…?

Yuzu: Her Melodious deck is actually a newer archetype (not new-new, just on the newer side of things) and she picked it because she loves music. Her childhood is getting more fleshed out here, with her growing up happy and having interests and music lessons. There’s also a lot I have in mind for post-canon, with her having to learn how to live with three other voices in her head and how she came back to life- I’m still working on how much I’m looking to expand things here but there’s a lot I’m eager to work out with @pendulumrisen!

5:What is an aspect of your muse’s canon material or canonexistence that you never had the opportunity to explore but really want to?

There’s a lot I haven’t touched on for Ray yet, but I honestly want to explore her feelings towards Zarc’s possible revival and her dad’s plans to revive her. Like I mentioned above, this blog’s canon involves Ray and Zarc having had a relationship (of sorts) prior to the split, and part of her reason for stealing the En cards in my portrayal was because she knows him and wanted to try and stop him herself, on top of wanting to save her dad from a probable death if he’d tried. We know from canon she wasn’t pleased by Leo trying to revive her, but… We don’t get too deep into that? We don’t get too deep into a lot of Ray’s character and gdi I want more??

I’d also love to look more into how Ray was as a duelist. We know she’s strong and gave Zarc a run for his money but what was her deck? Did she do tournaments? Was she popular? Why the pink goggles? There’s so much to Ray I’m super eager to explore and I’m taking everyone down with me. XD

These are the hunters who died in the line of duty. From left to right: Cole, Kyle, Coach Max, Gwen, Susan, Zane, and Misty. Gwen was Mike's fiance. She and Mike lived in a poor village wear they would steal goods from the rich. As a hunter she and Mike were on lots of missions together. One day the hunters forced a hard mission wear some of them died. She was killed by the demon Goro who can turn into a giant beast. Mike chose not to revive her since he has moved on and her spirit told her the same thing.

(Voiced By Erica Lindbeck) Age: 25 Susan was Yuri's partner and best friend. She was a school teacher and was loved by all the children. She was sad when she had to leave her students behind. She and Yuri were on a special mission and guarded a baby demon but she was ripped apart and eaten alive by Satoru's troops. She is later revived thanks to Mike choosing to revive 4 out of 7 to come back.

(Voiced By Veronica Taylor) Age: 24 Coach Max was Anna's coach and a Elite. He was a great athlete and was very experienced in hand to hand combat. He was already an Elite before the hunters were created. He was like a father to Anna and would often be on missions with her. One day the hunters faced a big missions that costed many lives to be take. He was killed by Akira who stole his soul. His soul was later freed thanks to Flame and Mike. Mike chose not to revive him for a soul being free from a demon was better.

(Voiced By Patrick Seitz) Age: 34 Zane was Trina's boyfriend and a biker. He and Trina use to go on many bike rides to stop evil biker gangs and even demons who can ride bikes. When becoming hunters the 2 would often stay together on missions. Then on that dangerous mission he was one of the victims killed. He was by the Nayoko demon who can posses minds. He was revived thanks to Mike choosing to revive 4 out of 7 to come back.

(Voiced By Brad Swaile) Age: 21 Misty was close friends with Jessica and Andrew and a elite and a gunslinger. She was Andrew's girlfriend. She was already an Elite before the hunters were created. She, Andrew, and Jessica were known as the gun trio. She was one of the few victims who died in the dangerous mission. She was killed by the demon Rokuro who ate her head. She was later revived thanks to Mike choosing to revive 4 out of the 7 to come back.

Kyle was a good friend to Jack, Isabel, and Rebecca. He always liked watching magic but didn't want to do it and wanted to be a soldier. He was Rebecca’s boyfriend and loved her so much. After surviving the dangerous mission he wanted to get revenge for his fallen comrades. He battled Akira but was beaten and wounded. Akira took his soul. His soul was later freed thanks to Flame and Mike. He was revived thanks to Mike choosing to revive 4 out of 7 to come back.

(Voiced By Robbie Daymond) Age: 23 Cole was a engineer and a elite before the hunters were created. He was a teacher to Chelsea and Willis. He was very skilled at building and fixing things. He even worked on a project to create flying vehicles. During that dangerous mission he was killed. He was killed by Akira who stole his soul. His soul was later freed thanks to Flame and Mike. Mike chose not to revive him for a soul being free from a demon was better.

I just want everyone to appreciate the fics that I love, so I made this list again. It’s a weekly thing, and I’m glad to spread the love that we desperately need sometimes. These are in order of when I read/wrote them. I didn’t read much this week, and sort of forgot to post this yesterday, but these are all super recommended. I already have a few on next week’s list, so hopefully it’ll be a little more populated than this xD All very good fics, though!! Have any suggestions for me or want to talk to me about them? What I Read This Week (~5/27-6/3)

Once You Go Greek (Ch. 3) - DefiantDreams - A fraternity fic wherein Yuuri and Viktor are in rival frats, but they fall in love anyway. (My review: Look, I love most of what Essa writes, but this one is charming. And the ending was precious I love my Extra sons)

set sail from sense (Ch. 2) - spookyfoot - Dancer/Choreographer Katsuki Yuuri and Singer/Songwriter Victor Nikiforov are finally Twitter official. The catch? It's for the "fake" role-play accounts they use to escape the pressure of their official images — and neither of them know that the "fake" celebrity they're talking to is actually the real deal. (My review: Fake dating actor au a+ i love this spooky is Best)

Baby, I’m Preying on You Tonight (Ch. 6) - cuttlemefish - Yuuri and Phichit registered and named the pet shop when they were drunk. They didn’t exactly expect it to become the most popular pet shop in Seattle. (It was only supposed to be a front to fund Phichit’s (undercover) animal rescue missions.) Enter Viktor Nikiforov, the man with the pink Cadillac and the giant brown poodle (that's stolen Yuuri's heart), and Yuuri might have lost his mind, because apparently he keeps flirting with a client – and he never even notices. (My review: Hilarious, and also the sweetest little babies you’ll ever see in a fic. Just an A+ fic.)

Mare incognitum. - carnivores - “I thought you weren’t supposed to covet,” Victor comments drily one day. He leans back against a rock, sun-bronzed like a marble god. He could surely drive any righteous man to idolatry, Yuuri thinks. “Yes,” Yuuri says, smiling. “But you’re not exactly my neighbour’s wife.” (My review: Hooooboy, I mean, dark!Viktor, but it’s beautifully written and a vry interesting concept!!)

Champagne, Vodka, and Other Spirits - Dawn on ICE (Dawn_Blossom) - Victor Nikiforov wouldn't mind being dead if only the real estate agency would stop trying to sell his house. (My review: a hilarious and precious ghost au. I loved it.)

What I Wrote This Week (~5-27-6/3)

Chaos Theory (Ch. 2) - "Spare no expense," had been Yakov's response to every phone call that Viktor made about the park, which was exactly why Viktor had worked to revive Jurassic Park into Jurassic World. The same idea, but bigger, and better. Bigger park, bigger attractions, bigger dinosaurs, better structures... So why is attendance dropping so much? Maybe the addition of a brand new genetically modified dinosaur would fix that problem. (Meanwhile, Yuuri Katsuki has a pack of Velociraptors, and Yuri Plisetsky gets invited to bring a friend on an all expense paid trip to Viktor's park.) And while they've built everything up so that things couldn't possibly go wrong, well... Life finds a way. (Or: Jurassic World AU!)

two is better than one - Viktor was woken up by kisses at his neck and chest, and hands wandering to much more interesting places, which meant that he was definitely still asleep. “Vitya,” A soft voice whispered as whoever was in his dream sucked against his neck, and Viktor tilted his head, letting them, practically begging them to in his smallest movement. “I’m sorry I’m home late. Stopped by the store on the way back, and they were out of dog food, so I had to find another store that sold the right brand. Didn’t expect you go to bed while you were waiting.” This was all a very… domestic fantasy for a sexy dream. (Or: Viktor from only weeks after the banquet gets time traveled to the future, where the older version of himself is married to the boy from the banquet. Fascinated by the idea of two of himself and the boy of his (wet) dreams, they have sex.) (Or: there’s an or built into the summary but shameless threesome time travel porn)

the “real” viktor nikiforov (Ch. 9) - So, fine, maybe Yuuri’s a little bored and lonely when he likes a dating profile claiming to be Viktor Nikiforov. And, maybe, he’s a little pathetic when he gets excited when the account messages him almost immediately after. And, he’s definitely stupid for falling in love with someone pretending to be his idol, but he can’t help it. It’s not like it’s the real Viktor Nikiforov, anyway. He knows someone is catfishing him, but he still falls ridiculously in love. (Or: The catfish au where they are really bad at communicating)

It’s my turn Chapter 4

It’s been four months since Zarc was revived and three since he reappeared in Standard. Standing guard against the revived Supreme King Dragon, Yuzu with Serena, Rin and Ruri stand as Ray with the stronger Lancers helping them. This time, It’s Her Turn!

“How could I let this happen?!” Serena thought as she gritted her teeth in frustration. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the black charred buildings and demolished roads in the City. It had been two days since Rin’s duel against Zarc but no one could call it a victory, not when he caused so much destruction. She could feel her frustration grow as she remembered him laughing like a madman, as Yuri no less. She could feel her teeth turning to dust as she grinded them before she heard someone calling her name, shaking her from her thoughts.

“Serena!” A manly voice yelled.

Serena smiled a bit when she saw the owner of the voice, Gongenzaka and Sora were running up to her.

“Need any help, if so the manly Gongenzaka will gladly do so” he said.

“Oh and why did you offer me any help? Are you looking down on me?” Serena asked with a bit of edge in her voice.

“Of course not. Just you were the only person cleaning up this area.” Gongenzaka defended himself.

“So you’re saying I’m antisocial then?” Serena continued

“What?” Gongenzaka looked in confusion.

“Gong chill, she’s pulling your leg.” Sora said with his arms behind his head.

Gongenzaka looked even more confusion before looking at Serena for confirmation. She simply gave a big smile which made Gongenzaka give a sigh in relief.

“Please don’t do that. You nearly gave the manly Gongenzaka a heart attack.” Gongenzaka said in relief.

“Even if you did have a heart attack, you’d still outlive us all” Sora remarked as he took another lick from his lollipop.

“Thanks, but I just want some time alone.” Serena thanked her friends.

“Is because of what happened with Zarc?” Gongenzaka asked in a calm voice as Sora remained silent.

Serena looked to a frowning Ruri before nodding her head which caused Gongenzaka and Sora to frown.

“Is Rin ok? She looked a bit off after the duel.” Sora asked as he remembered how lifeless she looked.

“Not really. She wanted to help with the clean-up but honestly she couldn’t focus.” Serena said.

“Well that’s not surprising. From what I heard Rin and Yugo had a similar relationship to Yuya and Yuzu and well ….” Gongenzaka stopped as he couldn’t finish his sentence.

“What about Yuzu then?” Sora continued.

“She’s just tired.” Serena lied.

“Are you sure?” Gongenzaka asked again.

“It’s fine. But some alone time would be nice.” Serena answered causing Gongenzaka and Sora to sadly walk away.

“I think they know that you were lying about Yuzu.” Ruri said.

“What else do I tell them then? That Yuzu refuses to speak to them because she realizes that they lied to her.” Serena argued.

“I don’t know.” Ruri replied while Serena sighed.

“When did things become this difficult?” Serena thought as she remembered Yuzu’s pain and Rin’s tears.

Inside a secluded space in Yuzu’s mind, Rin sat alone holding her knees as the image of Zarc reviving as Yugo replayed in her mind. Despite her best efforts, she kept seeing Yugo’s goofy face twist into a sadistic smile as one eye glowed an ominous yellow.

“Rin are you ok?” Yuzu asked.

“Ahhh!” Rin yelled in shock as she heard Yuzu’s voice. “Don’t sneak u…..ppp. Wait how did you get here?!”

“This is my brain. I would think that I have full access here. In fact I should charge you for being here.” Yuzu joked with a light smile.

“What’s the real reason then?” Rin calmly asked.

Yuzu opened her mouth about to defend herself before sighing and said, “I … I just didn’t want to see the other Lancers.”

“What happened?” Rin asked.

“They lied to me about Yuya.” Yuzu said in a resigned tone.

“Yuya?” Rin lied pretending to be calm.

Yuzu turned away from Rin and sat down so their backs were facing each other. She then said, “A boy whose voice I keep dream about. But if I had to be honest, they’re nightmares where he tells me to run.”

“How much do you remember about this Yuya?” Rin continued.

“Not much. Just he has the same last name as Yusho and Yoko, he loved to entertain everyone, Zarc for some reason can change into his appearance and that he ….. he … that’s all.” Yuzu said with a red face.

“How did they lie then?”

“They acted like they didn’t know him but Zarc revealed that four months ago not only did the Lancers know him, but they even tried to help him.” Yuzu instantly answered.

“Can you trust Zarc though? He could be lying to cause in fighting.” Rin said.

“But what he said was true. The Lancers in the Fusion dimension knew about Yuya and lied to me about him!” Yuzu argued as Rin felt a pang of guilt.

“I’m sure they didn’t have any bad intentions for doing it.” Rin said.

“That doesn’t mean they have the right. These are my memories! I … I of all people should know who I loved!” Yuzu countered as Rin felt more guilt assault her heart.

After her outburst, Yuzu felt heat radiate from her face as she realized what she said. Desperate for anything to change the topic, she quickly asked. “So Rin, why are you depressed?”

Rin felt her eyes widened as she heard Yuzu. “What are you talking about?” Rin calmly answered.

“Just you seem a bit different.”

“Different how?” Rin said as her heart started racing.

“Well usually you’re pretty cool-h …” Yuzu said which caused Rin to remember Zarc’s words.

“I’m not cold!” Rin yelled as she interjected.

“Wait I never …” Yuzu tried to interject.

“I … I just don’t want Yugo to spend his life as a demon! I … I never wanted to .. I never! “Rin started yelling as tears started to fall.

Yuzu quickly gave Rin a hug as Rin looked in shock. “Shhh” Yuzu silently said as she put her hands on Rin’s head. “It’s going to be fine.”

“It’s not. I … I” Rin said as she struggled to get words out.

Yuzu only hugged Rin tighter as Rin finally broke down crying. Rin couldn’t help but mentally mock herself as she cried. When Zarc had returned, she knew in her heart that that Yugo was gone. Even if his spirit still existed inside of Zarc, she could never free him that he was doomed to exist as a phantom inside a demon. Thus Rin decided to steel her heart and kill him, as much as she hated it and as much as she hated herself for deciding to do it. But if it meant that Yugo could have some form of peace, she would gladly kill her heart. But when Zarc had revived, instead of feeling rage that Yugo still had to live as a demon that had murdered innocents for laughs, she felt relief. As she saw Zarc revive as Yugo, she was happy that he was still alive which only made Rin cry harder at her weakness.

Reiji could feel his brain cells dying as the people in front of him continued to argue. Normally he would regard just such noise as unimportant but sadly the people arguing were the representatives of the four dimensions. He fought the urge to sigh and just said, “Representative as much as your arguments are interesting. I do believe we need to focus on my request.”

“To strength the Lancers?” Standard’s representative said with a sneer.

“That is correct” Reiji said as he ignored Standard’s representative’s attitude.

“What’s your reasoning” Synchro representative quickly added, hoping to diffuse the tension.

“Zarc’s latest attack has proven that the Lancers are too understaffed to stop Zarc.” Reiji calmly said.

“You mean being armed with realities’ strongest duelists aren’t enough to stop one threat?” Standard’s representative mocked.

“If you remember, Zarc has previously destroyed a dimension before. We shouldn’t underestimate his power.” Edo defended.

“Then why should we trust the Lancers to defend us if his power is that overwhelming? Especially considering some of the members” Xyz representative asked.

“We have Ray” Reiji added.

“Ray?” the representatives all said.

“Zarc’s mortal enemy. Twice she’s put a stop to him and we current—“ Edo tried to explain.

“If you have her, why are you trying to grow more powerful?” Standard’s representative inquired.

“Even if Ray can stop Zarc, that doesn’t mean there won’t be casualties if we don’t take the necessary steps to stop him.” Reiji said with a glare.

“Reasonable. So why now?” Synchro’s representative asked, as she tried to get the meeting moving forward.

“I admit our latest mission’s casualties was caused by our immaturity. Zarc was able to get past us because we didn’t think we would try to blend in with the crowd. But part of that was because we could only have 8 Lancers on standby, we couldn’t check everyone in our panic.” Reiji somberly admitted.

“Why only 8? You stated that you have 20 members, why defend a dimension with less than half your forces?” Xyz’s representative inquired.

“Because we were scared that Zarc was lying. He has already proven to be a skilled planner and we decided it be better to leave the other dimensions some defense in case it was a fake out.” Edo answered.

“So what, if we let you build an army then you can protect us?” Standard’s representative asked again.

“Not an army. But we do need an influx of force as Zarc’s attack on the City was revealed to be a distraction.” Reiji reaffirmed.

“What do you mean?” Synchro’s representative asked.

“During Zarc’s attack, cyborgs similar to the ones that Roger made attacked LDS. In the rush they were able to steal some of my experiment technology and escape before the Lancers stationed in Standard could give chase.” Reiji calmly stated.

“What experimental technology?” Standard’s representative said with an edge in his voice.

“A portable mass teleporter” Reiji answered which caused all the representatives to look in shock. “This devise is based on the large teleporter in Heartland. It’s meant to teleport multiple people at once and is portable.”

“Why do you have that?” Standard’s representative asked again.

“If Zarc appears instantly in one of the dimensions, it would be better to mass teleport all the Lancers to his location then wait for them to arrive by Arc-V.” Reiji countered.

As Reiji said this, the room turned silent as the Standard and Xyz representatives looked as each other.

“Excuse me, I think I might be imagining this but Standard and Xyz representatives, you don’t really trust us do you?” Edo asked.

“No you’re correct. I have trouble trusting the Lancers before and this meeting has only furthered the feeling.” Standard’s representative answered.

“Would be so kind to explain?” Reiji asked as he kept his annoyance in check.

“You think I didn’t notice when the Academia first attacked, you immediately jumped to announce the Lancers.” Standard continued.

“You believe I want to take control of Standard?” Reiji asked as he stared to glare.

“No, all of reality.” Standard’s representative answered with his own glare.

“Why would you think that?!” Edo asked.

“Mr. Akaba has cameras all over Maiami City, nearly all duel schools are under his control and he currently has the Lancers, an interdimensional collection of the strongest duelists in all of reality under his control. Do you think we wouldn’t be a bit worried?” Standard representative answered.

“I admit I that can seem worrying but the Lancers only want to defend the peace of the four dimensions.” Reiji rebutted.

“Do you really?” Xyz’s representative added which caused Edo to look in shock.

“What do you mean?” Edo asked.

“Well adding to this, in the roster you’ve given me, over one fourth of your members are Academia members.” Xyz’s representative added with a bit of venom in her voice.

“Ex-Academia members. We know that we have made many mistakes and we wish to correct them.” Edo added.

“Well that’s all well and good but can we really trust you?” Standard’s representative added in.

“We stood against the Academia and Zarc when he revived.” Reiji countered.

“Did you really stand against the Academia? Reiji Abaka, son of the Leo Abaka, The leader of the Academia.” Xyz’s representative said as his eyes narrowed.

“Are you suggesting that I was working with my father that abandoned me and my mother three years ago?” Reiji said as he felt his rage rising.

“Still working with actually” Standard’s representative added.

“Wait, wait! The Lancers helped my dimension when the Commons rioted, they were able to peacefully stop the riots and out the Academia agent Jean-Michel Roger. As well get the Academia forces in the Xyz dimension to stand down.” Synchro’s representative quickly added.

“But which Lancer did that though?” Xyz’s representative asked which cause Edo and Reiji to look uncomfortable. “Yuya Sakaki who became ZARC!” she yelled as her right fist hit the table.

Edo’s eyes widened in rage as he yelled, “He did not become Zarc!”

“Then why does Zarc look like him!” Xyz’s representative yelled for answers.

“When Zarc was defeated the first time, he was spilt into four beings in each of the dimensions. Yuya Sakaki is merely one of them. During our battle in the Academia, he was absorbed by Zarc’s will due to my carelessness.” Reiji said as his fists started to tighten.

“Did you know about this when he joined the Lancers?” Standard’s representative asked.

“No.” Reiji calmly said as he gave a half truth.

“Even if that is true. That means the Lancers helped bring about Zarc’s revival.” The Standard’s representative continued.

“And we then fought him; as all of reality saw.” Edo countered.

“Yes we saw.” Xyz’s representative said which caused Edo to relax till she said, “but we also saw the Professor helping the Lancers.”

“To be fair, he didn’t really help.” Reiji added.

“Either way, your father helped against Zarc.” Standard’s representative added.

“After the battle, we locked him away.” Reiji rebutted.

“In a location that nobody but your own people know of!” Standard’s representative yelled which caused Reiji to go silent.

“How do you expect us to trust you Lancers when a fourth helped destroyed my dimension, one of you become our current threat and their leader is the Academia’s leader’s son! Who is currently keeping his father’s location secret!” Xyz’s representative yelled at the top of her voice.

“We did that to ensure anymore agents of the Academia still hiding don’t break him free.” Reiji defended.

“That doesn’t earn our trust though. In fact, Fusion say something, this mess is due to your dimension.” Standard’s representative snapped.

“I really can’t.” Fusion’s representative weakly said.

“Why not?” Xyz’s representative asked with a glare.

“As it was said, my dimension caused this trouble. I don’t have the ability to argue here.” The Fusion representative said with guilt in his voice.

“But what do you feel about Reiji’s request though.” Edo asked.

The Fusion representative showed more guilt on his face as he said, “I cannot help with this request. Our dimension doesn’t have the forces.”

“Really then who attacked my home?” Xyz representative said with spite.

“That’s the problem. We’re trying to sort out who is still loyal to the Professor and Academia. Until we have clean our government of Academia loyalists, it’s better to not have an army just yet.” Fusion’s representative sadly said which caused Edo to empathize greatly.

“It pains me to say it but we don’t have the forces either. As you two should know my dimension is still undergoing rebuilding our government. It’s still tricky to create a government that allows for equal representation from both the Commons and Tops. Due to this uneasy balance, we cannot make an army yet. I truly am sorry.” Synchro’s representative said.

“So I think that Standard and Xyz doesn’t trust us then?” Reiji said as he looked at them.

“Yes. Besides we just don’t have the forces either. Our army was decimated and we can’t find any citizens willing to rejoin.” Xyz’s representative coldly said.

“If you could at least tell us where Leo Abaka is, I’ll talk to the government about it.” Standard’s representative said which caused Edo to look shocked.

“You do have a point. Maybe I’m being too secretive, the Professor is in the S---“ Reiji started before his duel disk let out an alarm. Once he saw the alarm, he started to scowl.

Zarc waited patiently in the City as he stood on a random road, but after five minutes he started to feel a bit hungry. As he wondered if there was a burger joint nearby that he could steal from, he heard a voice from behind him yell his name which made him smile.

“Hey Serena.” Zarc happily said as he turned to face her.

“Zarc” Serena said with venom in her voice.

“Took you a while didn’t it?” Zarc said with a bit of disappointment in his voice.

“She brought back up!” a deep and loud voice roared.

Zarc’s eyes widen as he looked around and saw Jack, Crow, Shinji, Chojiro, Gloria, Grace, Sora, Sawatari and Gongenzaka surrounding him. Zarc gave an audacious grin which showed his fangs as he said, “Don’t you think this isn’t too fair?”

“You killed 2 dozen people!” Gongenzaka roared.

“I know. I meant for you guys. Bring an army next time.” Zarc arrogantly and calmly said.

“Why? So they can watch us kick your butt?” Serena arrogantly retorted.

“Well it would be fun for people to watch Rin break down.” Zarc calmly said.

Serena’s eyes widen when she heard that. She could feel her rage explode as she felt like ripping his head off his head, which was helped by the fact that he took Yuri’s form. “I dare you to say that again.” Serena coldly said as she readied her duel disk.

Zarc quickly placed a hand in front of him as he said, “wait, wait, wait. I’m not here to duel.”

“What do you want then?” Serena coldly answered.

“To talk about Yuya Sakaki” Zarc said with a smile.

Before Serena could open her mouth, she could feel Yuzu inside of her force her way out. Quickly Serena’s blue hair turned to pink hair as Yuzu took control with a cautious look on her face. Zarc could feel his grin grow larger as he saw Yuzu.

“What do you mean?” Yuzu asked.

“Well based on how you reacted when I said his name two days ago and your obvious eagerness, you forget about him didn’t you?” Zarc asked.

“What’s your point?” Yuzu asked.

“I can tell you about him.” Zarc said as he transformed into Yuya which caused Yuzu’s eyes to widen.

“Why?” Yuzu asked as the other Lancers quietly but intensely watched the scene in front of them.

“The goodness in my he –ahhahahhhhahahah. Oh god I couldn’t keep a straight face.” Zarc said as he broke down laughing as he held his sides causing Yuzu to wince as she saw Zarc as Yuya laugh.

As Zarc continued to laugh, the Lancers’ duel disks started to beep. All but Jack and Gongenzaka checked them and looked in shook as they saw the alert.

“Hey Yuzu! We have to go!!!!” Sawatari panicked as the others started to run.

“Why?” Yuzu asked with a bit of an edge in her voice.

“Roger is attack the institution where the Academia students are being kept!” Sawatari yelled which caused Yuzu, Serena and Ruri’s eyes to widen.

“What you aren’t curious why your heart flutters when you see me as Yuya and why I can change into Yuya.” Zarc said.

“Yuzu! Stop staring at him and listen to my silky smooth voice. We need your help!” Sawatari yelled.

Yuzu gritted her teeth as she didn’t know what to do. While she admitted that the Academia students going free was not something anyone would want but it wasn’t a smart idea to leave Zarc alone especially when they had seen what he could do. And if Yuzu was honest with herself, she wanted to know about Yuya and his connection to Zarc.

As Yuzu mired in indecision, Jack yelled, “GO!” shaking Yuzu from her thoughts.

“Yuzu, go! They are going to need you.” Gongenzaka continued.

“What about Zarc?!” Yuzu argued.

“We’ll stop him.” Gongenzaka calmly answered.

“Nice way to keep her away from the truth.” Zarc said.

“Why are you so desperate to keep her here? Seems a bit desperate to me.” Sawatari shockingly countered.

Yuzu gritted her teeth as she turned away from Zarc and started to run to the Arc-V portal.

“You sure about this?! They lied to you, can you trust them???!!!!” Zarc yelled.

“They did lie to me, but I still trust them more than you, Zarc.” Yuzu coldly said as she continued to run with Sawatari which caused Zarc to grin.

“Well this failed.” Zarc said as he threw his hands in the air.

“What are you trying to do?” Gongenzaka said.

“Mess with her head a little.” Zarc said with a smile which caused both of them to growl.

“ZARC!!!!” Jack and Gongenzaka yelled.

“well time to go.” Zarc said as he started his duel disk.

“Are you running away, you coward?” Jack taunted.

“Not really, just you two aren’t really worth the effort.” Zarc retorted.

“Scared that we’ll bring out Yuya’s soul?” Gongenzaka taunted.

Zarc gave a grin as he said, “if you could do that, Yuya would already free don’t you think?”

“So why do we give a try then!” Jack yelled as he turned on his duel disk.

“again you two are not worth the effort.” Zarc said as his smile turned into a scowl.

“Some symbol of invincible strength, you run with your tail between your legs when challenged. And you think you can destroy all of reality?” Jack calmly mocked.

“What did you say?” Zarc said as venom sneaked into his voice.

Jack and Gongenzaka smiled as they saw their bait had worked. Like Reiji said, Zarc might not be as easy to anger as before, but he was still proud of his power.

“I was planning on leaving you fools alone. But allow me to show why I’m the Supreme King Dragon.” Zarc said as his eyes started to glow red.

“Soooooo how ahead do you think Crow and the rest still are?” Sawatari said as he and Yuzu ran through Arc-V.

Yuzu kept silent as they continued to run, Sawatari was about to give up before finally asking, “are you angry that you had to leave before Zarc could spill about Yuya?”

“No.” Yuzu curtly replied.

“Then why are you so angry? You’re with the Lancer’s strongest man, Neo New Ultra strong duelist badass bishonen strong Sawatari!” Sawatari yelled.

“Do you really want to know?” Yuzu coldly said which made Sawatari instinctively move away.

“yees.” Sawatari nervously said.

“Did you think I would be all sunshine and flowers after I learned that you all knew about Yuya but lied to me?” Yuzu coldly said.

“We had a good reason for it” Sawatari said in a small voice which Yuzu coldly ignored as she ran forward.

Sawatari frowned as he saw her run ahead and mentally apologized to her and Yuya.

“Magician’s Right Hand activates, I negate your fusion! Go Sky Magician catch them” Yusho yelled as his monster threw his rings around the freed Academia students, preventing them from using their duel disks.

Just as Yusho took some time to breathe, two more students jumped out with their Ancient Gear Ultimate Hound Dogs. As Yusho braced himself for the attacks, two more figures jumped out.

“I Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Vrash” Asuka yelled as her ace destroyed the monster in front of her.

“I tribute summon Road Raven Red Queen” Yoko yelled as her ace scared the dog to join her side to the student’s shock.

“Attack!” both women yelled as their monsters defeated the students in front of them.

“Thanks” Yusho thanked both women from the bottom of his heart.

“No problem Mr. Sakaki” Asuka said with a smile.

“Protecting you is kinda my job” Yoko joked with a smile.

Yusho smiled in response before he looked to the defeated Academia students. 10, that was all they had captured, only 10 students out of a few hundred. Yusho’s teeth clenched as he remembered the panic when their alarms rang. In the 17 minutes it took to get here, all the students being held in this psychiatric intuition were freed and given their decks and duel disks back. They then spent the last 15 minutes trying to take down as many Academia students as possible with just the three of them. Yusho could feel his rage grow as he knew the reason they hadn’t covered much ground was because of his bad leg, he might be the leader of the Fusion section of the Lancers but he was their weakest link right now.

“I fusion summon Ancient Gear Chaos Giant(Level 10 Attack: 4500 Defense: 3000)” A student yelled as a huge dark blue giant with a huge red cyclops eye appeared in front of Yusho, Yoko and Asuka.

The three of them looked in shock and fear as they saw the huge mecha towering over them.

“Fuck!” Asuka yelled as she saw the huge machine which Yusho and Yoko mentally agreed.

“Go Flower Cardian LightFlare (Level: 10 Attack: 5000, Defense: 0) take down that abomination!” Chojiro yelled as his monster sliced the mecha in half which then exploded, knocking out its owner.

“Chojiro! You’re back” Yoko happily said as she saw her friend.

“Hey guys, mind if I …. Cut in” Chojiro said with a huge grin on his face.

“I’m so happy, I’m going to ignore that horrible pun.” Yusho said with a grin just as large.

“Which is why I said it. The only time I could get away with it.” Chojiro said.

“Not that I’m happy that you’re back but does that mean reinforcements have arrived?” Asuka asked which caused Chojiro to smile.

Roger smiled as his plan was going smoothly, most of the Academia students were freed and Reiji Akaba’s portable mass teleporter was warming up. But as Roger was stroking his ego, an Academia student can running in a hurry.

“Lord ROGER! We have trouble.” The exhausted student yelled.

“What is it?!” Roger said in annoyance that someone interrupted his thoughts but he did smile at being called lord.

“The Lancers, they …” the student yelled.

“Yes, yes I know, three of them are here. What does it matter?” Roger said in absolute confidence.

“They’re forcing their way in, we’ve lost a fourth of our forces!” The student yelled.

“A fourth?! How could you lose around 50 students to three people?!” Roger yelled in shock.

“They brought reinforcements.” The student tried to explain.

“How many?” Roger calmly asked.

“4 ….” The student said in a small voice.

“You FOOLS!” Roger yelled as he started to ruffle his hair. “Gather the strongest and loyal students to my location immediately.”

As the student quickly ran to deliver his order, Roger started to grin his teeth in rage that Zarc failed to keep the Lancers at bay. Worthless Dragon, he thought as he started to walk to his controls.

“This is what I get for trusting a dragon that failed to destroy reality twice. Sergey WAKE UP, we have work to do.” Roger said as he turned on Sergey, who awoke as mechanical whirring filled the area. “Just five more minutes” Roger thought.

Explosions echoed in the air as the Lancers fought to move deeper into the devastated institution. Yells roared in the background as the battles continued, while the Lancers quickly moved forward as a straight line with Yusho on Yoko’s bike behind them as his Magician’s Right Hand kept negating the Academia’s Fusion spells, which was proving to be an essential advantage. While the Lancers knew that their formation wasn’t efficient in any way, it was working and so they didn’t complain.

“Mad Chimera attack!” Sora yelled as his ace finished off another Academia student.

“Hey do you think this is …..” Chojiro started.

“No stop!” Sora yelled.

“What?” Chojiro asked.

“Do not jinx this!” Sora replied.

“Oh you’re being stupid.” Chojiro said.

“I’d listen to the talking diabetes machine” Crow added.

“Oh come on, I can’t believe you guys believe in jinxes.” Chojiro said annoyed.

“Talking diabetes machine?” Sora asked.

But before Crow could explain, the ground spilt as purple flames seeped out of the cracks. The Lancers looked in shock as a black winged amorphous monster with purple lines shining on its body rose form the cracks as a huge man stood in front of the beast.

“Earthbound Servant Geo Grasha attack!” A monotone robotic voiced yelled as purple flames shot out of the monster’s mouth.

“Dodge!” Yusho yelled as the flames flew towards them.

“I. TOLD. YOU!” Sora said in between his teeth as he jumped out of the way.

“I didn’t say anything!” Chojiro replied as he dodged.

As the purple flames hit the ground, a large boom was heard as purple flames created a huge explosion that blinded everyone.

Yusho groaned in pain as he heard a loud ringing in his ears, he opened his eyes and saw that most of the purple flames had gone out and struggled to get up as he felt piercing pain from his left leg. He looked around and saw Yoko next to him, knocked out. In his panic, he quickly started shaking her as he started to scream, “Yoko, wake up. WAKE UP!”

“Uhhh. Where’s the bastard that hit us.” Yoko groggily said to Yusho’s relief.

Yusho then quickly turned around and saw Asuka and her Vrash was still fighting the monster that attacked them. As he got ready to help her, he heard footsteps behind him and saw two Academia students.

Yusho smiled and said “While I would love to put on a show, this isn’t the time.” as he struggled to stand.

“You two are not taking a step forward.” The Academia students said as they readied their duel disks.

“I really want to speak with your parents.” Yoko said as she readied her duel disk.

“Duel!” the four of them shouted.

“Why are you two doing this? You’re some of the Academia’s greatest duelists??!!” some students shouted as they blocked Grace and Gloria.

“We just realized that the Academia was wrong.” Gloria coldly said.

“And that it was way more fun to duel with Yuya!” Grace happily added which caused Gloria to blush.

“What is so good about him that you and commander Phoenix would betray the professor.” They continued.

“His dueling was the best that I have ever seen and if I have a chance to learn it, I’ll gladly carry the name of traitor” Grace happily said.

Gloria facepalmed as she said, “you really liked Edo’s line huh?”

“What? It was cool!” Grace defended herself.

“Shut up and duel!” an Academia student yelled as she readied her duel disk.

“Duel!” They all yelled.

“I blame you” Sora said as he looked at Chojiro.

“I didn’t say anything! And I doubt me saying anything would cause that blob thing to attack us!” Chojiro defended.

“Guys … maybe stop the comedy routine and help us?” Shinji said as he pointed the Academia students surrounding them.

“So why do you think we’re so popular?” Chojiro asked.

“Maybe these kids know about my love for th…. Wow does that sound wrong.” Crow said as he looked around.

“What does it matter? You’ll all be cards soon.” An academia student said.

Crow grimaced as he heard those words and yelled, “you’re kids, stop taking about murder!”

“What murder? This is allowing you scum to become part of the Arc Area Project. Be honored!” Another academia student said with a sneer.

Shinji’s face twisted into a frown as he heard that which Crow noticed.

“Bring up bad memories?” Crow asked.

“Yeah of what an idiot I was, just like them. Ignoring how others felt for my ideals” Shinji said as his eyes narrowed.

“Well you will get plenty of time to think over it as a card” another academia student taunted.

“Shall we then?” Sora said with a smile.

“Duel” They yelled as the Action cards started to fall.

“Vrash guard!” Asuka yelled as the abomination shot purple flames again. Vrash quickly created a shield of energy surrounding her and her master.

“Impressive. Well just what I expect from the Academia’s teachings.” the robotic voice once again spoke.

Asuka’s eyes narrowed once she heard that sentence but just as she was going to command a second attack she heard a beautiful melody come from behind her. Her eyes widened as curved wind flew over her head and hit the abomination square in the chest as the melody grew shriller in tone. She turned her head to see an unsettlingly quiet Yuzu staring straight ahead.

Yuzu’s eyes narrowed as she saw a muscular body that just seemed unnatural, especially that impossibly thin waist. The more she looked at him the more she felt sick as she felt her jaw tighten and head hurt.

“Sergey …” Serena said with widened eyes.

As Yuzu heard his name, her eyes widened as the pain in her head multiplied before she started to yell because of the pain. Ruri and Serena quickly looked to Yuzu before they felt the same pain invade their souls, before long all four started to scream in unison. Yuzu clenched her head as hundreds of images flew through her mind. She saw a monster of Sergey’s electrocute Yuya right before her, Sergey attacking Sora and Tsukikage, him grabbing her and finally seeing a hurt and exhausted Yuya call out to her as she was being taken away.

Yuzu gritted her teeth as she stared straight at Sergey. “I did not need that today”, she coldly said as her eyes narrowed.

Roget’s eyes narrowed as he stared at his tablet which to his annoyance only showed the word error. He tried to calm himself with the knowledge that he had transported the remaining Academia students not facing the Lancers safely to their base. As he went to check the timer, he heard a large screech as the metal wall in front of him bent outwards and a damaged Sergey landed at his feet with a resound boom. He quickly looked at the newly made hole in the wall to see an infuriated Yuzu with four monsters floating next to her.

“My my how nostalgic.” Roget said with a sneer.

Yuzu’s eyes narrowed further as she remained deadly silent.

“Why so quiet this time? What nothing about how I’m wrong? How smiles are the true way for an ideal world.” Roget undainty said.

“Give up before I decide to use force.” Yuzu warned as her monsters shuffled.

Roget felt sweat roll down the side of his face before he heard a small beep. His worry quickly disappeared as he started laughing.

“What’s going on?” Yuzu yelled as a barrier started to form around Roget and Sergey.

“I win!” Roget cheered.

“Bloom Passeri, Bloom Boreas, Bloom Liger and Bloom Mozarta attack!” Yuzu yelled as her monsters attacked. She watched in frustration as the barrier stopped her monsters’ attacks.

“Looks like Zarc was right.” Roget bragged.

“What do you mean?!” Yuzu yelled.

“Without Yuya Sakaki, you’re nothing but a ghost of yourself!” Roget yelled.

Yuzu’s eyes widened and she yelled, “What do you mean? What do you know about Yuya?!!!”

Roget only gave a sneer as the barrier started to glow flooding the room in light, forcing Yuzu to close her eyes. She quickly opened her eyes when the room had dimmed down.

“Wai….” Yuzu started before seeing that Roget and Sergey had disappeared. Yuzu started to grit her teeth before she threw her head back and yelled with all her might.

“Scarright attack Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!” Jack yelled as his ace spewed fire towards the green and white dragon.

“You activate my trap card, Negate Attack! You’d think the king would be careful over face down cards. How disappointing.” Zarc said with a light tone as he waved his head with his hands in the air.

“I’m not the King anymore.” Jack said before he pointed at Zarc. “That you, Yuya!”

Zarc smiled, “What is this peer pressure class, cause you’re being a broken record Jack.”

“Broken Record or not, Jack and I will awaken Yuya’s spirt no matter what Zarc!” Gongenzaka yelled.

Zarc’s eyes widened as a hologram screen with Roget’s face appeared in front of him.

“Zarc, I upheld my part of the plan, the students are in our base.” Roget calmly stated.

“Give me five minutes.” Zarc said.

“We have to go.” Odd-Eyes roared.

“What?” Starve Venom roared in confusion.

“We need to finish them!” Clear Wing roared.

“This is a waste of time and Zarc might get hurt.” Odd-Eyes roared in worry.

“When has our master ever been hurt by these scum.” Dark Rebellion yelled.

“There’s no point on risking injury anyway. Let’s go!” Odd-eyes begged.

Zarc sighed and answered, “You’re lucky today that I have to go.”

“Wait you’re not leaving! I know that you’re in there Yuya!” Gongenzaka yelled with all his might.

Zarc gave a sneer in response before all four of his dragons released beams of energy from their mouths.

Jack and Gongenzaka looked in horror as the dragons attacked and quickly ordered their monsters to defend the City from further damage. They look in frustration as Zarc’s body transformed into light as he teleported away.

Arc-V AU where ¾ bracelet girls said ‘fuck it’ and joined Zarc because after all the shit they’ve been through I would have quit

Idk where this came from but the idea of the girls using the dragons is really appealing to me and like for some reason I really like ‘protags give up and fall into darkness’ trope lol.

Also I incorporated the “Yuu boys are actually their dragons” theory cause I love it.

Yuzu runs as fast as her tired legs will let her. The once beautiful ocean-sided town in the Fusion dimension is now in shambles and not a single soul besides Yuzu can be found. With the town deserted the only sounds that can be heard are Yuzu’s harsh breathing, her steps against the ruined ground, and the three metal bracelets hooked onto her belt loop that cling every time she takes a step.

She’s so tired. The remaining Lancers are nowhere to be found and each day Zarc’s reign expands further and further throughout the dimension.

Maybe I should just stop fighting. Just like….

Yuzu shakes her head.

No I can’t. I have to save them. All of them.

Rin was the first one to stray. After the attempt of integrating Rin, Ruri, Serena, and Yuzu into Ray failed, Leo Akaba brought back the four girls hoping they could stand chance against Zarc.

And the four girls tried with all their might to defeat the Supreme King, but just like those who dueled Zarc before, they failed. Countless times did the girls rise back up and challenged Zarc hoping to bring Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo from the Supreme King’s control.

However a human being can only take so much before they reach their limit.

“I’ve had enough!” Rin had shouted halfway through one of the girls many duels against the devil. “Please….I just want to be with Yugo. I’ll do anything…”

“Anything…?” Zarc parroted back with a smirk on his face. Zarc hummed, “Alright, I’ll let you be with Yugo. Just take off that silly little bracelet of yours, and join me. Then you and Yugo can be together forever.”

That’s when it all fell apart.

Yuzu, Serena, and Ruri pleaded for Rin to reconsider, to see that it was a trap, but after everything that’s happened, after all the dimensions turning into a hellhole, Rin just wanted to be with her best, and only, friend. The Synchro counterpart took off the bracelet she once held dear and walked over to the Supreme King.

He smiled at her and for a moment his eyes turned blue, “We’re finally together, Rin.”

Rin felt tears swell in her eyes, “Yugo…”

The duel was canceled then and there. Zarc retreated with Rin holding onto him and left the three remaining Ray reincarnations with, “You three can join us too. All you have to do is get rid of those wretched bracelets.”

Next was Ruri.

Without Rin the duels against Zarc became even harder than before, and as such the Lancers went to greater lengths to assist the girls.

Which unfortunately cost some of the Lancer their lives, including Shun.

It happened so quickly. One of Zarc’s attacks hit an abandoned building and it’s pieces were going flatten the three girls, to say the least. After finally getting his sister back, Shun refused to lose Ruri once again, so ran as fast as he could and pushed the girls out of the way.

Once the smoked cleared, Shun’s body could not be found through all the rumbled but blood could be seen pouring through the cracks.

Zarc took his leave after that, satisfied with what he accomplished; leaving Yuzu and Serena to drag Ruri away from battlefield.

The next time the girls fought the Supreme King Ruri was hardly there, and Zarc took noticed to that.

“You don’t have to alone, Ruri.” Zarc said in familiar tone which made Ruri’s head snap up and she was met with gray eyes “I’m still here. Join me, and the two of us can be together, just like old times.”

Ruri didn’t even waver for a moment when she took her bracelet off.

Finally was…

“Found you, Yuzu.”

Serena.

Yuzu turns her head to her Fusion counterpart and grits her teeth. She was too lost in thought to even notice Serena approaching her. She takes a step back but keeps her gaze locked onto the blue haired girl. “Serena.”

Serena says nothing but her gaze ends up on the three bracelets on her Standard counterpart’s waist. “You think you can fulfill Ray’s duty by yourself?”

“No,” Yuzu replies. “I’m holding onto them until you three come to your senses.”

Serena laughs, “Then you’re out of luck. Rin, Ruri, and I are quiet happy where we are.”

“With the death of thousands?” Yuzu snaps. “With Zarc going around destroying the four dimensions? Our homes?”

Serena says nothing, but narrows her eyes.

Yuzu glares at Serena and nearly starts to shake in anger. But no matter how hard she tires, she can’t hate Serena. So Yuzu takes a deep breath and asks, “Why are you here, Serena?”

“To get back what’s rightfully ours.” Serena answers. “Give back Odd-Eyes.”

“It’s Yuya’s.”

“Odd-Eyes belonged to Zarc first.” The Fusion counterpart scowls, “Now give it back.”

“No!” Yuzu shouts. She instinctively reaches for her pocket where Odd-Eyes is, making sure it’s still there. It was nearly a suicide mission to retrieve Odd-Eyes from Zarc, this was the first glimmer of hope the four dimensions has had in months, no way is Yuzu returning Odd-Eyes to the Supreme King. “Can’t you see that this wrong Serena? Has Zarc influenced you that much? Please.”

Serena snorts, “Maybe Zarc has influenced me, but it was my choice to join him in the first place.”

Yuzu frowns, “You were just angry at the moment, you can always come back and the four us can-”

“Shut. UP.” Serena interrupts. “Don’t act like you know what Rin, Ruri, and I have been through. We don’t have anything. Rin only has Yugo, Ruri has lost so many people including her brother, and the Lancers, my only friends, are nearly all dead. You? You have your father and all your friends back in Standard. You don’t know what it’s like to have nothing!”

“Serena-”

“And it’s because of goddamn Ray that our lives are like this. Rin grew up in the slums with no one besides Yugo because Ray wanted Rin to follow him. Ruri’s home got destroyed and she lost so many friends so Ray could be revived. I never had a childhood or any friends and was kept as a prisoner because the Professor only saw me as Ray. You got a nice cozy home with a loving father and no war. Sure you might being experience our horrors now but the three of us have dealt with loss and isolation for years and Yuzu, that wears a person down. So to hell with the dimensions, its not like I have people I want to protect.”

Yuzu doesn’t say anything for a few moments until she clenches her fist as hard as she can, “I don’t understand, and I’m sorry those things happened to you three. But Zarc is the only killed Shun and Lancers, he’s the reason you and Ruri are alone.” Yuzu looks Serena dead in the eye, “And even if you have no one close to you to protect you should still try to protect people - it’s human nature to help each other survive.”

Serena grits her teeth, “You really are the one who’s most like Ray.” Serena activates her duel disk and places a card on it, “If you won’t give back Odd-Eyes, then I’ll take it back by force.”

Above Serena a terrifying purple dragon manifests thanks to Solid Vision and roars at Yuzu, as if the dragon itself is mad at Yuzu for taking Odd-Eyes.

Yuzu glares.

Starve Venom Fusion Dragon.

No.

Supreme King Servant Dragon Starve Venom.

Serena looks up at the dragon with something akin to joy and wonder, “Yuri and I never got to have a bond because of the Professor, but at least we’re making up for lost time now.”

“What-” Yuzu looks at the dragon with a cross between horror and marvel. Is Yuri really that dragon? Then…..

“So, you see why Zarc wants Odd-Eyes back.” Serena says as she looks back to Yuzu.

Yuzu clutches Odd-Eyes - no Yuya - even harder. “I’m not going to let you, Serena.”

“You can’t stop me Yuzu.” Serena replies. “Starve Venom, attack!”

Starve Venom unleashes its plant-like whips and aims straight for Yuzu. The whips’ tips begin to separate and teeth appear surrounded by venom, surely one strike from this could kill Yuzu. And just when Starve Venom’s attack is about to reach-

It’s stopped by a large set of teeth from a giant red reptile with multi-colored eyes.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

And it’s not corrupted.

“Those damn bracelets,” Serena curses.

Yuzu jumps on top of Odd-Eyes and holds onto it’s horns. “Yuya and I are going to stop Zarc. We’re going to save you, and Yuri, and everyone else. We will fulfill Ray’s legacy.”

Serena takes the moment to jump on top of Starve Venom, “We’ll see about that.”

Both ready their duel disks and,

“Duel!!”
