Your Last Days. (Mcrp)

As apposed to the last Smp I covered. (See here) This Minecraft series is extremely story oriented and a really eventful watch!

Content/Trigger warnings: Possible swearing, A lot of people in crowded places and talking, The mod itself includes violence (Guns & Blood) and should generally be watched in perspectives that are comfortable for the viewer.

Other general warnings, This will be a long blog but I will try to keep it as informative and spoiler free as possible!

I was introduced to this SMP by my FYP some time back, thank you Youtube. As of current, there is a Prequel titled Your First Days and it's a very interesting thing if you were attached to anyone's perspectives! (Not entirely certain if it's still ongoing, but I've been trying to keep up with it!)

Now, what Is the plot you may be asking? In a post apocalyptic setting the only thing that is clear to our players is Survival or destruction. Depending on which perspective you watch. TLDR: Your Last Days is a story driven hardcore server set in a post-apocalyptic world.

There are many established factions of people who are all fighting to stay alive and protect their lands. When it is announced a group of Hunters have been sent to wipe out the entire population who have been suffering from this infection for ten years.

Unlike most formatted things, this is something to look into yourself. There are the occasional edited videos for you to look through such as Kaboodles:

Its a very hyper active, enthusiastic story of a character making a bond against the obscene odds they were thrown into and really quite an exciting story!

Most of this SMP was livestreamed, I say most its all live streamed. Looking up Your Last Days MCRP seems to show several perspectives for you to look up but these were a couple of my favorites:

Ali, Yoshi, Miyaki, Beans, Ray, and Korps.

Before getting into this it was a lot because I wasnt actively partaking in streams as it was happening, 2023 was a busy year for a lot of people. Me included. A couple months back as I was going through perspectives I found these were the ones I enjoyed the most, the story-telling and perspective was incredibly fun to focus on. (That isnt to say everyone involved aren't entertaining to watch!) The concept as a whole is very interesting to me because zombie media has always failed to make me actually scared, but in a world full of people you start to care about the stakes are raised and makes for a pretty compelling setting.

Going on to say! They also have a series I mentioned before; this is a perspective I very much am in love with and honestly it made my entire month!

Like, the flower is attached to her and sure whenever it absorbs nutrients it gets stronger and it's a hive mind and I get that, but if the flower and vines attached to Kab don't absorb the nutrients/body directly Kab doesn't get the nutrients either

Considering the vines are in her and under her skin, just eating the flesh of the body would hit two birds with one stone, she would get fed and the virus would get fed

backstory under the cut except its not coherently written

imagine if there was a cult that worshipped this one Deity™️ blah blah. and when the apocalypse happened they all saw it as The Reckoning and them not being infected meant that they all were chosen to ascend. right so they all get syringes n shit and inject it and this shit was filled with some FUCKSHIT but it meant they were gonna hallucinate and then Die :)! but the person administering this stuff didnt have enough for themself :( but its ok they injected it into themself anyway theyre gonna ascend its ok they have faith in their god :) SYKE they dont die though!!! and they wake up and everyone is dead!!!! but theyre not disturbed. they see this as not being worthy. so they hole themself up in a room while everyone rots in their comfortable "coffin" of a room thats all fuckin. satin. and they watch hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours of tapes to brainwash themself hoping one day everything will click and they'll be good enough and they keep themself alive on their own rations and crops since. now everyones dead its easy to just feed one person theyre useful in that they were the one that administered the syringes so they might be a medic, and they also probably are real used to gore. who knows if the cult did some human sacrifice shit. but this mfer doesnt know how to heal diseases they just know abt injuries n stuff. death :3 like bro. imagine u go into this very gated off place (probably a big, big house with a church area inside. imagine sunny meadows from phasmophobia) that zombies dont even try to wander into since there doesnt seem to be any traces of living, and it seems looted but then someone manages to find an area thats like. hidden. and it leads to a downstairs and theres a pungent stench of DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but u go down and theres a bunch of rooms that imply The Horrors, and some rooms just have bodies but they seem to have died in peace and theyre all wearing white satin. and some rooms have like. mushrooms cultivating. and theres this sound coming from one room and its definitely like. the wrrrrr of an old TV. probably a weak generator. just for this TV. idfk. and its only playing this propaganda. there's more rooms but this one is the one thats making noise and after all the bodies you open the door and you just see this person with their back turned to you, blood all over themselves, veins blackened where they injected themself, watching propaganda and they dont even look at you

while i get where this comes from and it’s true to an extent, i reeeaaaally don’t like how people try to explain “trans men don’t [necessarily] have male privilege” with things like “some trans men don’t pass”.

like sure that’s the most obvious example (someone who is seen as a woman won’t have the privilege that comes with being seen a man) but you’re still acting like being a passing trans man is just a free opt-in to male privilege which is………kinda the issue.

Your First Days

Cat's wayyyyyyy out of the bag now but here's some info on our girlypop Chantel Smith! Name: Chantel Smith Pronouns: She/her Occupation: Student. Chantel did intern at the Hilsend Valley Hospital's Pediatric Ward before the summer. Major: Nursing, she wanted to be a pediatric nurse. Age: 21 On the surface, Chantel Smith was shallow. And the assumption wasn't entirely wrong. She had the typical bottle blonde hair, pink outfits, and the kind of money that meant her summers were spent on a yacht or at a country club. She was practically flawless. Well, she would have been had it not been for her learning disabilities and her stutter. Her family tended to pick up and move on a whim, which meant Chantel could never assimilate into any schools. And because of the consistent moving, she never had the chance to get assimilated. Her parents would toss money at private schools to accept her despite her low entrance scores. And rather than assist or acknowledge that their daughter couldn't keep up with her classes, they left to fend for herself academically and socially. She was awkward and shy because she never stayed around long enough to make friends. It wasn't until her family settled in Washington that Chantel began attending public school, specifically Hilsend High. Hilsend High was perfect! It was small enough that everyone knew each other, so it was easy for her to get to know everyone. The IEP program was fantastic, and her stutter was gone by her senior year (it was the only thing her parents did acknowledge as it was unavoidable). And where she lacked academics, she made up for extracurriculars: student council, cheerleading, track, and step team. With her clean record and extracurriculars, she was accepted into Hilsend A&W where, when it mattered, Chantel Smith was the most popular girl on Hilsend A&M University's campus and a star cheerleader, but don't get it twisted: she was not a mean girl. Chantel also had a younger sibling named Mars that she left behind when she went to college. Maybe one day she'll work up the courage to see him again.
